i have a fantastic announcement 'beat emotes through his glasses' crew. his glasses are actually animated in the first game and the frequency seems to be like that of a blinking animation in the dreamcast release (gif above).

however, upon testing, i have discovered he is bugged in the 2012 port and this is only viewable as intended via his encounter with combo. during normal gameplay (where this animation also is supposed to play) his glasses only are animated on one lens, generally the one closest to the camera. (gif below)

yoyo too is affected by the differences between the dreamcast and port, though his texture animation is Far harder to notice. i find that having his expression textures right there helps you pick it out better, so here it is with a dreamcast gif below it

it only shows up on his left lens for a second, and similar to beat, this animation only plays during his challenge in the 2012 port. during normal gameplay, this animation is Entirely absent.
