#star wars #the original trilogy #boba fett #darth vader #hi. sorry for star war jumpscare. genuinely #i feel like ive kinda been on an art hiatus lately due to health stuff #i got diagnosed with a parathyroid disease recently (wahoo) so now i know why i have been feeling so bad! need more tests though #anyway. in the mean time most of the entertainment my brain can handle has been like. youtube clip compilations of shows and movies #not even the actual shows or movies. literally just sections of them on youtube #i wish i was joking #the only reason i know what happens in succession is because i have watched it in disjointed order in youtube compilations. not joking #anyway so ive learned a lot more about star wars than i ever. thought i would #mostly just the original trilogy and prequels. some of the old comics & books are interesting too #(sick to my stomach) i like darth vader he has like the same personality as ganondorf except he had no good reason for doing anything #when vader/anakin does literally anything weird or unacceptable it like. makes me laugh so hard its like jerma when he sees a car accident #boba fett’s costume design has been rotating in my head a lot too it’s very good #he’s very colorful and like. matte/unpolished compared to vader and it makes them a cool duo visually #those 2 are my favorites. vader why is the space cowboy the only person aside from sidious or tarkin who is allowed to get mad at you #sidious is my 3rd favorite. he sucks so bad as like a person that you just. you have no expectations of him except just being evil #so its just really funny like everything he does is horrible and he’s so happy all the time like good for him #i’m making it sound like ive never seen star wars before. i have i just never really cared about it until i got an endocrine disorder lmao #but yeah idk art may continue to be slow while im figuring out treatment stuff #if anyone reading this also has or has had hyperparathyroidism im wishing the strength & radiance of 1000 beautiful horses upon you

People keep talking about 'all the hate' fans have been 'attacking' watcher with over the past few days and I genuinely do not know what they are talking about.

#The vast majority of posts Ive seen were people expressing that they feel hurt #or giving actual criticisms about the move #sometimes there was a bit of snark #none of that is bullying #or hate #Have you watched internet drama before? This was incredibly measured #99% of youtubers making a move like this would have been torn apart within a day #but watcher is so well-liked that most people Ive seen are even accepting the apology #watcher #watcher tv #I get youre relieved that people arent posting criticism after criticism now #but that doesnt mean the backlash was just a bunch of hate #i wouldnt even have described it as particularly vitriolic #sure a few posts crossed lines but it was SO few compared to what you would usually see in something like this

mumbo’s grown into such an amazing builder ♥️♥️♥️ he’s so cool ♥️♥️

he’s always been better than he thinks but he’s really grown into it now. like i remember looking back that . in season 5 his seaside town project. it wasnt. great. like we knew what it was but… it was so bland. very 2017. part of that was the biome, sure, and it was also very much a secondary project at the end of the season, but the megabase was all prismarine and quartz and clean lines. geometry. hard to detail - except for the storage system and the aquarium and he popped off with those. but he didnt get time or really.. have the skills? to grow it all to its full potential.

and then in season 6 everything was all hypermodern/futuristic clean lines again that detailing isnt really possible with. he did well with what he could detail, but everything was so smooth, it was hard.

and season 7 it was basically.. just one big build. again, he did really well with it, but it was such a monolith that it was hard to add these tiny details to it. and there was no easy way to look closely? no real places to add them. the golden heart is the exception here.

season 8 we saw the start of something incredible, with the arm chair mountain. the tiny houses on the cliffside were there to provide colour. but they were… empty. again, i get why, and i dont know how to add something to them other than to maybe up the scale and that wouldve been REALLY hard.

we didn’t see much of him in season 9, but he fell back on the geometric designs and clean lines. it looked good! i loved the colour scheme. but the most detailed part of that build was the moat. the screeching crevice. and no one really looked at that after it was all built up.

but he didnt lose the skills from s8. in fact, he improved them.

because now we’re here and he’s making concept art and detailing with shadows and odd block choices and. i honestly think. if he puts his mind to it and keeps this up. we’ll have another heavy hitting builder. this build feels alive. it feels real.

#honestly i mostly use my laptop for watching youtube #but i play some games while on discord with friends. mostly just minecraft tho. thats probably the hardest it needs to handle #oh uncharted 4. thatd be nice #also like. ive been doing some intensive things to do with videos & shit recently. on gimp & photoshop and i would like whatever i need to #handle that. because adding in a bunch of layers kills my current laptop #(the errors scratch disk so.... memory?)#nyxtalks #all i know is. bigger number is better. right?#but also ive seen reviews saying like. bigger numbers only good if it can cool it. also i think my budget only extends up to 4070 anyway #and by budget i mean. how much i can force myself to spend on something before i cry #i want a laptop thatll last me at minimum 6 years. minimum.
