What are the new DMD shows??? If you know!

I did my best to summarize. Here they are, in alphabetical order, and with the main stars noted.

Duang With You (PorTeeTee)- Duang fell in love with handsome singer Qin almost at first sight. But Qin doesn't know he exists, despite Duang being the 2nd most popular boy at their university, and Duang doesn't know how to express his love or stand out among Qin's many admirers. When Duang completely fucks up his confession to Qin, he intrigues the normally cold man. Qin is seduced by the clumsy but earnest love of his classmate. He is partnered with Qin for a class project, and they grow even closer.

HugELhee (ZeeNuNew)- Noi loves to sing, and would love nothing more than to be a singer. But he has to spend his days toiling at his mother's restaurant with his aunt. When he was a child, his parents divorced, and his obnoxious brother Nid was raised by their father. Nid became a megastar singer- with an ego to match. When Noi's mother collapses, it's up to him to keep the restaurant afloat- a task made nearly impossible by the appearance of Chang. Nid pissed off Chang's family by ending an endorsement deal, and Chang is out for vengeance. He doesn't know why Nid is holed up in the countryside running some dinky restaurant, but Chang is determined to ruin his life... not realizing the man he is pissing off isn't Nid at all. As Noi and Chang's rivalry begins to turn to love, Chang has to contend with the abuse he's put Noi through- and the realization that he targeted the wrong man all along. Side note: it's a musical.

Love Upon a Time (NetJJ)- A young man finds himself thrown back to a previous life, waking up in the 1400s. He must navigate this past life- and avoid the man who killed him- while falling in love with a handsome young man.

Magic Lover (KengNamping, ThomasKong, and JimmyOhm)- Three young wizards are sent to the human realm as part of a once-in-a-century ritual. They must find their true loves within 30 days or they will be turned into animal familiars for all eternity. But when they find out who their soulmates are... being an animal forever doesn't sound like such a bad fate after all.

Me and Who (BigPark)- Part of the new DMD lineup, but the trailer was released a while back. An unlucky man named Phopthorn shares what little food he has with a stray dog, who brings him a winning lottery ticket. But unlucky to the end, Phopthorn is hit by a car as he runs to cash in his win. He is reborn into the body of Apo, a billionaire with a cold and calculating fiancée who can read minds. Phopthorn has to blend in to Apo's life and navigate the dangers of a billionaire's life. While fiancée Suriya was frigid and dismissive of Apo, he falls in love with the bumbling Phopthorn and his pure innocence. Suriya is determined to help the gentle Phopthorn step into bitchy Apo's life and fool the family until the wedding, securing for himself important business contacts.

Mr. Fanboy (AuauSave)- Wan is a diehard fan of BL star Nine, and an avid hater of Nine's partner Third, who is cold to him during interviews and keeps the focus on their work. Wan auditions for ThirdNine's new series and lands a supporting role. Wan quickly realizes that his idol is two-faced and hides cruel lies behind a sanctimonious smile- behavior Third is thoroughly sick of. As Third and Wan start to fall in love, Nine is determined to destroy the threat.

Restart (Mostly DMD Gen 1 and 2 and their partners, but no ZeeNuNew or Nat)- A boarding school divided into the children of the rich and powerful, and the nobodies who act as their slaves in the hopes that they might be able to follow their tormentors into high paying positions. When one student falls to his death and "re-starts" his life, he tries to navigate the toxic perils of the school and find some unknown missing item that everyone thinks he has... I'll be real with you- I watched the trailer but I don't really know what this show is about.

Your Third (MaxNat)- Work-a-holic secretary Jam is sent on a mission to find his boss' wandering twin brother. Sarm has vanished to an island to escape heartbreak, and his enduring love for his ex holds him back from a new love with Jam.

You(r)tuber (TleFirstOne)- Chopkhun helped his boyfriend build a popular youtube channel with a huge following, then caught him in bed with his best friend. Enraged, Chopkhun becomes determined to start a new channel and openly compete with his ex. He hires a videographer named InTouch, a man way overqualified for the job. InTouch is warm, supportive, and openly loving towards Chopkhun, which earns them a growing following of fans eager to see the YouTuber and his Videographer and wonder... Will Chopkhun ever realize InTouch is flirting with him? But Chopkhun has known from the start, and finds himself falling in love.

Zomvivor (All DMD Gen 1 & 2, plus Boss Chaikamon)- Zombies. Might be released in my lifetime.

There is also a poster for a show with ThomasKong called Unknown Lover, but they didn't release a trailer or any details, so IDK if they're planning on doing this one this year or not.

They're also working on a show called Me And Who starring BigPark (The duo from Monster Next Door), but they didn't include that in the showcase. I think it's either in workshops right now or they just started filming?

Domundi 2025

Feels good to finally be exicted for upcoming bls again. Will I enjoy all the bls listed, probably not, will they all be good, probably not. But I am exicited, so that is a win.

Going To Watch Live:

Your sky of us (spin-off of your sky) = Despite the slighty too long middle I loved Your Sky and the spin-off seems like a nice 3 episode bow out to these character.

The Next Prince = I was always going to watch this live. That has not changed. I can't wait for this.

Khemjira = like TNP

Love Upon A Time = Very happy we are still getting this, and we got a full story pilot this time. Seems very interesting. I am likeing NetJJ already.

YourTuber = The plot of this doesn't sound all that special. And I am not sure about the main ship. But it has Cooheart, in an adult role that has a sex life, and that is enough for me to get me to at least try to watch this

Restart = THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh this one got me the most intrigued. If they can land the plot of this it's going to be a 10 out of 10.

Your Third = Kind of confued about this, I thought MaxNat were shooting the Y-Destiny spin-off series. But it has MaxNat that is enough for me to try.

Zomvivor = Not sure about this one. I am a middle of the road horror enjoyer and not a big fan of zombies. But I might try to watch this live.

EDIT (Forgot one) -- Unknown Lover = YES!! ABsolutely, the plot seems interesting and I love thomaskong!!

Faites entrer l'accusé

Recently I have been settling down of an evening with Brian to watch re-runs of Faites Entrer l'Accusé, which has been on French TV since 2000. Each episode covers a real crime from its discovery to trial and features interviews with people involved: police, journalists, witnesses, etc.

This man is Henri Cavalier, a senior Gendarme, investigating a rapist and murderer who turned out to be one of his own team. The young Gendarme was later found to be mentally unfit to stand trial.

Henri puts me in mind of Scottish actor Brian Cox as Bob Servant (see previous posts), with his moustache and leather jacket.

One seriously handsome man. The series is worth watching on yourTube if your French is good enough (or you can just enjoy the regular handsome men that show up). There will be more from this excellent series.

Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan/ The Disastrous Life of Saiki K (Anime) Critic, opinion, whatever (no major spoiler)

I heard a lot about this anime, and when I saw a mini vid on yourtube, I end like meh, but I had to give it a chance and see it by myself, and OH BOY HOW WRONG I WAS.

This is one of my favs, I even download all the serie (even the Netflix one) because I ADORE IT.

It plays with stereotipes, make fun of them, sarcasm by tons, FAST SPEED LIKE REALLY FAST. The jokes don’t fall into the “child joke of someone falling”, but have more elaborated jokes that make me laugh. ME LAUGH, IS HARD TO MAKE ME LAUGH.

The episodes are so short that it have no room to lose time (even when some episodes are literally to fill), but is good anyway.

The quality of the humor take any low design and break it into pieces.

The characters GLOW. Each one is so different and particular that you can’t avoid to love them and hate them in the same way.

SAIKI K IS BY FAR THE BEST CHARACTER EVER, even when he do literally little (but always epic), and being literally the same than him, I can’t avoid love him. You have it all! Saiki being ARO ACE, some BI characters, a sado masochist...  

It have way too much to even say in one post, is one of these series that you don’t understand the hype until you start and you find yourself suddenly at 3am watching the last episode because HOW I’M GONNA SLEEP BEFORE THIS?

Plot? Strangely deep for being mostly jokes. Saiki have more personality than 90% of the anime together.

Score: 4.9/5 and 9.9/10. For real. PERFECT. Go watch it.

TleFirstone's AR posted a behind the scene clip of the pilot and the clapperboard could be seen showing the director's name as Aloneww. And then they deleted the clip. And fans that captured this also deleted their tweets. So now anyone come across this have to take my words for it I guess. (I swear I saw it with my own eyes)

Consider he has like 3 series waiting in line and Khemjira still filming, we're probably not gonna get this soon :') TleFirstone nations, we won, but at what cost...
