Taking a minute to appreciate the way the folks at Watcher take time to appreciate and support their LGBTQ+ fans, because... Of course they've always been great with general fan engagement via incorporating fan submissions into shows, the way they run their social media, etc... But they've kicked off pride month with an entire merch line, designed by queer artists, the proceeds of which go to support queer people... This isn't just performative "participate in pride month because it's good for business" bullshit, this is genuinely amazing. They aren't plastering rainbows on top of their content to get more engagement and brownie points from fans, they're genuinely advocating for what they believe in and actively showing support to people who really need it right now. I know my blog here is mostly bullshit / meme content, but I just want to take a moment here to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you, to EVERYONE at Watcher. Thank you for not only creating hilarious, innovative, and wonderful content, but also for showing genuine support and love to the LGBTQ+ community. What you do means the world to so many people, and all of us Watcherinas are eternally grateful <3

wahhh wahhh triglycercule post more NON jk fashion au related content i whisper as i post this. double post today because i genuinely love jk!dream and also if i dont post the dreamtale twins together i will actually die! you might consider her crazy way of somehow getting into trouble a form of bad luck but i see it as more of a being too pure for the world meeting a world that's not all that great. jk!dream lives up to her name she is a idyllic dream

valedictorian. practically a million extra curriculars. she can sing she can dance she can cook she can do advanced math she can fix a car jk!dream is everything jk!nightmare isn't (a loser). the types of trouble she gets into though aren't manmade (like some guy trying to rob her) but instead are naturally occurring. like one day the dreamtale household washing machine explodes because dream used it and coincidentally it was because it was faulty or something like that. really really crazy coincidences

nightmare is a fighting force in keeping her little sister alive i swear to god. she has to monitor dream a lot and when she can't she gets one of the mtt to do it for her. because if she doesn't there is bound to be something that hurts her. and because jk!nightmare is an absolute fucking loser who's stupid she came up with the genius idea of roleplaying a bigger issue than the one that dream's about to encounter (because then she gets to keep her safe and also feed into her pretend villian persona). like for example with the washing machine thing earlier nightmare would probably distract dream with some sort of evil monologue and then put her own load in the washer before she could. that way it won't FUCKING EXPLODE (comments from currently existing jk fashion au sanses :3)

they still love eachother in this universe because there was no corruption thing. also nightmare's bullies were just other elementary school kids in this au so it wasn't like fully grown adults vs a 6 year old at least. she's recovered from it (somewhat) and doesn't blame dream. dream's too perfect for anybody to hate her. dream supports nightmare's delusion and nightmare keeps her alive. equivalent exchange (dream has no idea nm is doing this. ok now the mtt‼️

Man. Now that I think about it

It’s a bit strange (albeit completely natural) how much we love actors, know their names, love their performances- they’re celebrities. And yet the same is rarely the case for animators who MASTERFULLY build a character around that performance. Along with actors, their contributions are ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL.

For most people who like King Candy- it’s common sense to know he’s voiced by Alan Tudyk. He’s in a ton of things, and he’s a GREAT actor.

But that’s only half of the performance!

Can you name King Candy’s animator off the top of your head? Because I sure couldn’t.

Zach Parrish is credited as King Candy’s animator- he was supervising animator for Wreck-It Ralph and also head of animation for Big Hero 6

Animators carry so much weight with their beautiful work, it’s astonishing. It’s what we SEE when we WATCH THE MOVIE.

And this is only ONE guy out of a hard-working team of visual artists. WE NEED TO APPRECIATE THESE PEOPLE MORE!!!!!! ❤️❤️

Write about how the chapter made you feel, or show your excitement about the next chapter. Someone has a cool artstyle you like? Reblog their work! Send them asks about how much you enjoy it! Not only will they appreciate the appreciation (hehe), it can even help them feel motivated to create more. Plus, it's a great chance to make human connection. I met one of my best friends this way. I absolutely adored one of her fanfictions on wattpad- I made an account entirely so I could follow her and read her work. And despite being at one of the lowest points of my life, I made sure to comment and vote on every chapter. Eventually, I became her beta reader and friend. We're still pals, years later, even if we're not in that fandom anymore (we don't even share a common fandom nowadays, we're just. Friends.)

She's stuck with me through so much, and I for her. Sometimes I get the urge to completely self isolate, and she's one of the things keeping me from doing that. You can meet so many wonderful people through the internet, it's worth it to try interacting with people you admire. I get feeling anxious- sending asks and writing comments can be nerve-wracking. But if you can, please try to interact with the artists and writers you love. There's never going to be anyone that's too popular or out of your league for connection.

Anyways character A proposed to character B in the fic and they were all lovey dovey and I couldn’t stop smiling and giggling to myself.

Despite my AroAce spectrum bitch ass, I love romance so much. To the point where I started yelling “When will it be my turn??!”; in case you don’t realize, I’m a sucker for well written stories with romance and smut and absolutely no angst because I have relationship trauma and I love reading about perfect and obsessive relationships..

Sorry for the completely different post, and that I haven’t been posting a lot- but I just wanted to say that if you write fanfics, you are probably making someone’s day. It’s always okay to take a break if you don’t have any motivation to write or if you can’t write because you’re busy, just remember that you matter. Your followers shouldn’t come first, your health should. Because a healthy creator, makes radical creations! <3
