Teacher!Natasha x Teacher!Reader Oneshot
For Lesbian Visibility Week! If you enjoyed this, please note and reblog! Feel free to send other prompts or requests! Prompt: The students come into your classroom complaining about Natasha as a teacher not knowing you're her wife. This is version 1. You sighed as you glanced at the digital clock on your computer. Damn. Your planning period was almost over, and you really needed to finish grading these essays. Soon, you would be back to teaching your high school history classes for the day. The period ended far too quickly as students began to file their way into the classroom, discussing this and that. You were so engrossed in your work that you were hardly paying attention until you heard “Ms. Romanoff” mentioned not once, not twice, but in a string of sentences. Oh boy. Ms. Romanoff was one of the more controversial teachers at the school known for her no-nonsense attitude, sternness and sarcasm , but she was also fair with a dry sense of humor. “Why did I take international politics as an elective? Oh, that’s right, I thought it would look good on my transcript!” One student said sarcastically. “She’s so nitpicky! I got an A-. AN A MINUS!” “Hers is the only class I don’t fall asleep in anymore. Not since….last time.” “She’s so strict even the Macklin brothers shut up.” “She’s terrifying. I heard she used to be an undercover agent in the CIA”. You smirked at that one. You should probably look into that rumor. “A spy? Shut-up, man. Who’s going to believe that?” “I heard she was a failed actress.” “I heard she voiced the Russian Siri.” “I heard she’s a rich heiress that lost all her cash.” “Look, guys, I don’t care. She just ripped our class to shreds.I just can’t right now. Nearly the entire class failed her last test. These test corrections are going to take all night.” “At least you’re allowed test corrections! We’re her AP class and the only way we can make up points is through a new essay.” “She’s scary. I swear” “I think she knows what I’m thinking and then that makes me think more and then she thinks what I’m thinking and that thinking makes my head hurt.” “I was ONE minute late to class and she gave me a late slip!” “One time my grandma called me in class, and she made me pick it up.” You shot a quick text to Natasha before the bell rang. Her classroom was two doors down from yours since you two were technically in the same department. Time to log off your grading program and begin class. You pulled out the binder with today’s lesson plans ready to begin. “Wow, you all are full of comments about Ms Romanoff today.” You said neutrally. “Miss Y/N, you don’t understand. She’s so ….uh, extra.” You withheld a smirk. Natasha wasn’t what you would call extra, but she was set in her ways.” “I don’t think she’s extra. I think she just has high standards.” You responded. One of the students rolled their eyes.
"Do you all talk about me like this when I'm not here?"
"Nooo Ms. Y/N, we would never!"
"Well, maybe you could extend the same courtesy to my wife next time," you said, withholding a laugh. The room fell silent. A pin could have dropped.
“Fuck” you heard someone say under their breath. “Language”, you chastised, but you couldn’t say you blamed them. You saw the students in various forms of awkward shuffling, a cough here or there or “Ummm” or “Uhh” as students tried to form sentences. “Wait, you’re married?” a student questioned before being glared at by the others. Your fourth period class was near silent for the rest of the period, with the students seemingly still in shock. One minute til the bell rang. You saw a flash of red hair out of the corner of your eye. Thirty seconds. Natasha knocked on the door. “Hey, you, we’re all ordering from Robert’s Deli for lunch. You want your usual or will you finally try something new?” Natasha teased. The class whipped their heads collectively towards the door. It was becoming harder not to laugh. Natasha narrowed her eyes. “What’s going on, Y/n?” “Oh, you’re scaring my class, dear!” You said, smiling widely. Natasha scoffed. “Dear, huh? Oh, so they found out, didn’t they? As if us entering the building together and leaving together in the same car wasn’t hint enough that we’re married.  Yeah, I might have scared a few of them. It was well deserved, trust me, Isn’t that right, Reynolds?” Jason Reynolds sank down into his seat, not meeting Natasha’s eyes. The bell rang. The students couldn’t scramble enough as they grabbed their bags and rushed past Natasha. You gave a small laugh as you finally met Natasha. “You’re a mean woman, you know that?” “Hey, you texted me, babe.” “It was great, not gonna lie. Sorry the “secret” is out.” “It’s not like we’re closeted, we’re simply professional. I’m surprised they didn’t figure it out sooner….or maybe I’m not.” Natasha muttered. Your stomach growled. “Alright, I’ll look up the menu. Find something new to try for once. Promise.” You said in response to your stomach. Natasha nodded. “Don’t want you to scare the next class because you’re hungry.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Good Luck, Babe!
alexia putellas x reader; 1,2k words; internalized lesbophobia, happy ending.
You didn't know how you ended up in a lesbian bar, but you felt quite comfortable.
The music was nice, the women were nice, and you felt a familiar sensation when you saw two women leaving together to probably enjoy the rest of the night by themselves.
A taller woman joined you and asked if she could buy you a drink.
You politely declined the offer.
Ten minutes passed by, and a blonde woman approached you.
Alexia.
Her eyes were breathtaking and her smile very charming.
You enjoyed the conversation you were having, but you felt a burning desire for her lips.
Your eyes were fixated on them and Alexia, as if Alexia could read your mind, she whispered in your ear, “You're being very obvious.”
You blinked rapidly and immediately apologized, making Alexia laugh.
“There's no need to apologize. I didn't say I didn't enjoy it.”
“Yeah, but I'm not like you.”
It took Alexia some time to realize what you meant, and now it was her turn to apologize.
“Sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I thought we were on the same boat.”
“Do I look like it?”
Alexia frowned.
Why would you be so offended by someone thinking that you were into women it if you were in a lesbian bar?
“No. Because no one looks like it. You either are or not.”
“I'm not.”
“I know. Now I know.”
You saw Alexia visibly hurt by your rudeness and decided to apologize.
“No, please. Accept my apology. I was very rude.”
Alexia answer something back, but you were so captivated by her beauty that you didn't even pay attention.
A woman approached you both, looking directly at Alexia, and tried to start a conversation with her.
It surprised you how angry she was making you just with her presence.
Alexia was talking to you, why did she have to be here?
You almost lost it when the woman asked Alexia for her number. What you didn't notice was that Alexia was amused by your reaction.
Your face had a reddish colour, and you couldn't stop bouncing your left leg as a way to cope your jealousy.
Alexia also noticed how you relaxed when she declined the woman's offer.
When you two were alone again, Alexia made the first move to say goodbye as she was feeling quite tired.
You walked in the opposite direction but then looked back, and noticed Alexia looking back too, looking at you.
Not even thinking straight, you walked to her and asked her for her number.
“You seem very nice. I'd love to have you as a friend.”
Those words hurt Alexia, but honestly, what could she expect.
You had told her that you weren't like her. You were straight.
-
There was nothing wrong with the idea of bisexuality as a sexuality, but just thinking about being involved with men made you want to throw up.
You didn't want to be a lesbian.
You felt your world lighting up thinking about that word: lesbian.
It's as if your heart was telling you what you needed to hear.
But you refused to acknowledge it.
That's why you didn't message Alexia.
You didn't let yourself even think about her.
You had to like boys and only boys.
-
Some weeks after, you decided to go out with some friends.
In less than thirty minutes, you all were surrounded by men who were interested in you and your friends.
This was very different from what you felt on that lesbian bar.
The group of men were very charming and nice, but they weren't Alexia.
And it wasn't even about Alexia.
They weren't women.
They weren't familiar to you.
You looked at their faces, their hands, their smiles, and you thought about how would it be to wake next to one of them.
Then you thought about how you would start your morning with Alexia.
You imagined opening your eyes and seeing her peacefully sleeping, or even better, Alexia half-awake looking at you, and that simple thought made you smile.
One of the boys that had his eyes fixated on you thought that you were smiling at him as you “listened” him talking, and tried to be friendlier by touching your arm as a way of deepening your conversation.
His touch made you feel miserable.
You didn't want him to touch you and your arm immediately sought Alexia's touch.
You excused yourself from your group and went to the bathroom.
The boy mentioned before took that as your way of telling him that he should go after you, so he excused himself too.
Your friends and the other men cheered, thinking you'd end up hooking up in a bathroom stall.
You entered the women bathroom and saw his face in the mirror.
You immediately stopped him as he tried to approach you.
“But I thought—”
“Well, you thought wrong.”
Thankfully, he was polite enough to leave without any hesitation.
You washed the part of your arm where he had touched you.
Without knowing why, you felt a rush of anger at yourself throughout your body.
You didn't want to go back to your friends, but you felt so small in that bathroom, and so close to breaking down.
Maybe your friends didn't understand you.
It was natural for them to be interested in men, but you needed someone who would get how you really feel.
Without any hesitation, you called Alexia.
It was wrong. It was nearly midnight, you were a complete stranger to her, but you needed her.
She was surprised by your call.
It made her very happy, but it took one second to realize how anxious you sounded.
She jumped out of bed and rushed to put some clothes on that would allow her to enter the club, knowing that she wouldn't be allowed if she tried to enter with her pyjamas on.
Alexia had told you to wait for her in the bathroom, and when you saw her, everything made sense.
You rushed to hug her.
A tight but comforting hug.
Her scent made sense.
Her touch made sense.
Her reassuring voice made sense.
“I'm here. You're safe.”
She touched the area of your arm that was touched by that man before, and you knew that you couldn't change who you were, because to you, women didn't feel like men when it came to intimacy.
“Can you take me home? I know this doesn't make sense for you but—”
“Don't worry. No need to explain yourself if you don't feel comfortable. Just tell me if someone has done anything to you.”
“No.”
-
Your friends approached you when they spotted you leaving.
You told them you were leaving with a woman you met the other day, and just that little step made you feel like your truest self.
You were not leaving with any man, but with a woman, as a woman yourself.
-
Alexia was very attentive and caring.
She gave you everything you needed and even slept in her sofa so you could have her bed all to yourself.
You woke up at five.
The room was still dark, and you craved Alexia filling the empty space of her bed.
You got up and went to the living room.
You saw her peacefully sleeping, and you knew with certainty that that's something you'd love to witness every day.
You calmly woke her up, and asked her if you could sleep there with her.
Alexia made space for you to join her sofa, and when you noticed your back accommodating perfectly to her chest, as she caressed your body and shushed you, you got very emotional.
Thankfully, Alexia didn't notice.
You were not in the mood to have that conversation, but still Alexia took care of you.
You closed your eyes and let yourself fall asleep, protected by the arms of a woman that was still a stranger but who didn't hesitate to come to your rescue.
And that was enough for you to start your path towards accepting yourself as a lesbian.

Abbys reaction to you telling her how hot she is while making out: "you're so hot I can't stand it it drives me crazy." - maybe the first time or one of the first times

Tumblr media
the end of your first date with abby marks a colossal milestone, especially for the two of you. the moment almost seemed monumental. taking one year of abby’s pining, six months of flirting and six months of tiptoeing while you were with someone else. respectfully, waiting until a month after the breakup, she asks you out.
unimaginable expectations abby had before going into tonight, but all she had to offer it seems was her nerves. god, she was acting like a dumb, mumbling, dork tonight. saying the first thought coming to mind, but it makes you laugh. when abby nearly eats it on the sidewalk, tripping over a crack of grout in the cement. your soft angelic voice taking her out for a moment, the only thing centering her from having a meltdown.
“baby, are you alright? be careful, honey.” there it is, angelic. “wouldn’t want you to fall.” the first pet names hurled her way by you, making her heartbeat faster than she could keep up with. you cut her off at her knees, ensuring you are the only person she could ever want.
fuck, fuck, fuck.
it’s pretty obvious who was in control the entire night. if the two of you are friends, this night has a year of expectations, hopes, goals to meet and abby felt like she was failing. deeply.
as she walks you up to the front door, she knows the only thing she accomplished was letting you down. nothing went the way she thought it was going to. everything felt off. worst of all, your silence snuffs her out, completely.
you grab her hands, pulling her up the stairs with you. the collar feels too hot, tense, off. delicate fingers playing with the collar before you unclasp the buttons, keeping down before you move to her chest, placing your hand on abby’s inconsistent heartbeat.
“can i? s’tense, need you to loosen up for me. alright?” abby nods, accepting you can read her like the back of your hand. she just doesn’t want you to stop touching her. “get out of this head of yours. s’just me and you, no one else.” your nimble fingers pop the first three buttons, revealing her freckled chest, dipping into her sternum, giving you a delicious preview. she takes a deep breath, and you believe it’s the first one she’s allowed herself since she showed up with a bouquet of flowers in hand.
“‘m sorry, i didn’t mean to ruin tonight. i just— it’s you. y’know? i’ve never wanted someone like this. been friends for ages and this is just everything. you are everything. i’ll never live with myself if i let you slip through my fingers.” her heartbeat calms under your touch the longer abby speaks, bringing a warmness to your own. “don’t worry about all of it. you’re not going to. i won’t let you.”
“okay.” abby says as she gets lost in the light in your eyes. the fire visible behind yours. the way she’s looking at you? fuck. unimaginable desire — all for you. it almost seems too good to be true. like you don’t deserve it. waiting for the pin to drop, all the misery drowning you with it. “did you have a good time tonight?”
“yes baby, i did.” you smirk as she inches forward, closing you into your front door. back pressed against it, her small breasts pressed to your chest, her free hand extended, next to your head as it lays flat on the door.
“s’good. wouldn’t want to kiss you if the date was bad.” all the confidence is back. the abby who flirted with you shamelessly for months on end. knowing you’re happy is enough for her. it’s all she needs to know to let the loser in her fall to ashes. but you taking the reins for a moment, does something so visceral inside her. she nearly doesn’t know how to act until her instincts kick in.
she’ll satisfy you — just in the way she knows how.
“what are y—” abby pressed her body weight into you, strong hips pinning you against the door using one of her hands to pin both of yours above your head. you’re whimpering, signaling your shock but the whine omitting from your lips tells abby your pussy is shocked. soaked.
“doing what i should have done months ago.” her pink plump lips meet yours, taking complete control over you. but you welcome it with open arms. she grunts in your mouth causing you to gasp as abby’s tongue enters your mouth. massaging it with yours in a swift battle for dominance.
it’s too much but also not enough. you’re grinding against her, your crotch kissing hers as you lift a leg, wrapping it around her waist. she continues kissing you like her entire life depends on it. not letting you feel anything but her. she’ll be your everything and you’re not leaving until you understand it just as much as her. “abs—” you mumble in her mouth, abby relinquishes the tight grip on her hands.
immediately your hands are woven in her hair. tugging at the golden hair, as you try to pull her closer to you, if it was even possible. but the two of you have to come up for air, abby the first one to break as she chuckles at both of your heaving chests.
“fuck, you’re so hot, baby. can’t stand it.” you peck her lips softly. admiring how puffy and swollen they look from her ministrations. god, you want her to devour you once again. “‘m, drives me crazy.” you admit, taking in the intoxicating smirk on her face. you’re not made into a fumbling mess easily. the both of you know it. that’s how abby knows it in her bones, she has you. fuck, she can’t ever imagine letting go.

are we just crazy or are lgbt spaces getting legit deranged?????
every unusual experience of sexuality/gender is a valid part of the bootiful qweer biodiversity of the world by default, but you can't be gay/bi/trans and not want to be called the q slur or see cishets say the q slur. and you can't say that you're afab4afab or amab4amab, that's just a creepy bigoted fetish you freak. unless you're transmasc4transmasc or transfem4transfem ofc, you get a free pass. but also kinkshaming is evil and deeply harms the most marginalized. but also make sure you don't have a fetish about genitalia... if you do, it's a "preference" not an inborn trait and you really can therapize yourself into liking it, just try hard enough. if you fail to you're a bigot, so just keep trying!! make sure to feel guilty abt it at least, you dirty homo. but getting beat up can be a cool sexual thing and bestiality or noncon is fine. but actual genitalia "preferences" are bigoted. if you don't call the genderqueer person pansexual instead of bi they'll chew their own arm off and hit you with it and call the cops but don't say you're a female trans man or that you're a trans guy lesbian or link it to being a female homosexual in any way ever okay?! you can't be at peace with acknowledging your sex/agab as a trans person!!!! or feel a connection to lesbian spaces as a trans man or gay male spaces as a trans woman!!! that's BIGOTRY and that's just feeding terf cunts you dumb theyfab. you can't link your cis womanhood to being afab AT ALL either bc that's transmisogynistic and dangerous rhetoric but every other group of gender marginalized folks can define their own identities and have a billion microlabels. you can't say you're not into girldick because not all trans women have dicks dumbass, surgical vaginas are defo the exact same as bio vaginas anyway so if you only like afab pussy & afab bodies you're a gross pervert mocking bottom surgery. and someone's upbringing as a male/amab or female/afab person definitely isn't a huge part of why homosexual ppl are into the same-sex/agab so you shouldn't give a single shit if a transbian flirting with you hasn't grown up facing misogyny or going thru afab/female body struggles or any of that, that has NOTHING to do with lesbianism between female ppl and has no bearing whatsoever on attraction you absolute psychopath. sexes/agabs is just a mix of detached body parts and you can play mr potatohead with it all and if you glued it good enough homosexuals wouldn't be able to tell at all that he used to be a mrs potatohead!! so they'd still hit that, right? homosexuals will go for anything anyway right?? homosexual love obvs can't be any deeper than genitals and fetishes. amab4afab ppl can be homosexual too anyway if they pass as gay irl too so homosexual isn't even a real tangible thing anyways it doesn't involve sex/agab at all and those ppl don't get to be their own specific oppressed class and do their own activism and have agency over their own identity bc they're super privileged worldwide and the enby living as a gender conforming woman in society dating a neckbeard looking for a third is more oppressed than a visibly gnc crossdressing bio guy holding hands with his normie bf. they might be gay but they're not qweer... except to the rightwing ofc!! oh and if you're trans and recently started passing as straight you're more privileged than an afab4amab couple who's lived a hetero til they transitioned! so shut the fuck up and listen to the New Gays. don't call yourself homosexual anymore or you're a cis bootlicker and if you're transmasc you're oppressing every transfem, including ones who have never faced misogyny irl a day in their fucking life!!! just be valid the RIGHT WAY!!!!!! be more queer you dirty normie homo!!!!!!
HAHAH i love it here

They have to tell them. They have to tell Dustin. They have to tell Robin. They have to tell the kids.
Over the last week, while lying in bed curled into each other, while eating breakfast pressed as close as they could manage, while snuggled up for yet another movie night, they talked about it, discussed how they'd break the news to everyone.
They knew Robin would be easy, accepting, because, well, the whole lesbian platonic soul mate of it all.
They had a hunch Will would feel some sense of relief, belonging, acceptance in himself and they hoped the young Wheeler would experience the same.
They knew it'd be okay, but there was always that itching nerve of anxiety saying, 'What if?' 'What if it's not okay.' 'What if it's really not okay and they'll never see any of their little nuggets again because they're too disgusted to even look them in the eye?'
But they had to tell them. No two ways about it. They had to tell them or someone was going to find out on their own and shit would hit the fan.
But firstly, they have to tell Dustin.
So here they sit in the Harrington house, Steve and Eddie side by side on the couch mere inches apart as Dustin sits on the coffee table in front of them, waiting and impatient.
"So? What was it you two were wanting to tell me?"
The two eldest boys turn to look at each other.
Steve, nerves evident on his face, brow furrowed, cheeks tinting red, bottom lip worried between his teeth, he sighs, shakey, scared and too fucking nervous.
And without even thinking, without even caring that Dustin's literally a foot in front of them, Eddie reaches out. Because he has to, because his boy is scared and it's crushing him to not be holding him right now. His ringed hand moves to Steve's thigh, giving a gentle squeeze before shifting his grip to take Steve's hand in his own, lacing their fingers together.
Steve tenses for a moment, eyes flashing to Dustin before he looks to Eddie and visibly relaxes, shifting closer, thigh now pressed to Eddie's, slouching with relief.
Dustin's eyes are wide, darting between the two men and their clasped hands. They can see the nerves creeping into his expression and suddenly this feels so much harder but before they can manage words, Dustin speaks, "Oh my god, is someone dying? Are one of you dying? Steve, do you have butt cancer? Oh my god. Oh my god, you're dying."
The kid shakes his head, hand moving to remove his hat and tug at his curls, " We can't do this shit without you. We'd be a wreck. You're like the best thing that's happened to us. You're like the Party's weird mom. You're getting treatment right? Is it going okay? Is Eddie driving you? Eddie, are you driving him? Are you taking care of him? Please say you're taking care of him."
The two men look between each, their clasped hands, Dustin and his expression that's nearing tears. They're speechless. They try to speak only to be interrupted. "I'm moving in, I'll help, I'll cook, I'll clean. Well, Eddie can cook and clean and I'll keep you company. Be the comedic relief. We can plan your funeral together. Do you want to be cremated? Or a rotting corpse in the ground for all the rodents to eat? Do you-"
"Dustin," Eddie carefully speaks
"Do you want me to-"
"Dustin," Steve repeats his boyfriend's words
"Shut up I'm talki-"
"We're dating!" Steve and Eddie both say with a shout, lifting their joined hands shaking them in Dustin's face
The kid cocks his head to the side, brow raised in question, "So Steve's not dying?"
"No"
"And you're together?"
"Yes?" Steve says like he's not entirely sure. Which is dumb. Because he is. But he's still nervous of how Dustin is going to handle this type of news. It's not 'Butt Cancer' (Jesus Christ this kid,) nothing even close, but it's still news. Unexpected and scary to reveal.
"Are you asking me?"
"Would it be okay if we were?" Eddie, somehow the calm voice of reason in this situation
Dustin almost seems offended at the moment, a weird look of shock appearing on his face only just now, "Why wouldn't it be?"
"Um, because that's gay?" Steve says, watching Dustin grimace at the remark
"And?"
"You're fine with that?"
"Well, Steve, does Eddie treat you well?"
Steve nods, kinda baffled by the whiplash of this whole conversation
"And Eddie, does Steve treat you well?"
"Yeah,"
"Well then, it's fine." Dustin slaps his hands to his thighs standing up from his position on the coffee table, a teasing smirk on his face, "Congratulations I guess. Just don't get Steve pregnant."
Eddie cackles while Steve sputters "That can't ev-"
Totally ignoring the pair still seated on the couch, Dustin is already making his way to the front door with Steve's keys in hand, "Now, how about the arcade?"

In honor of lesbian visibility week, I present a full list of female characters from Total Drama who have canonically shown no attraction to men! (as far as I'm aware)
Staci - Only present for one episode and only spoke for one episode, having no lines in the finale. None of these lines hint at Staci displaying any interest in men.
Dawn - The closest thing I could find was the "I didn't know you were a beetle whisperer!" scene, but even then, that could easily be read as platonic. Svetlana - Similar case to Staci in that her lines are pretty limited due to being actively suppressed by Mike or Mal. However she has not, in fact, said anything that hints at her liking men in those few lines.
Sammy & Amy - Other than that one "Topher thinks you're fat" line of dialogue (which could easily be played off as Amy trying to mess with her), neither of them have shown any on-screen interest in men.
Scarlett - The only extensive interaction she has with men are Max, whom she DESPISES, and their alliance is only romantically framed for the sake of a gag.
Sugar - Nothing in canon hints at her liking men. She admires Leonard, but this is most likely due to his perceived magical abilities rather than any sort of attraction as she displays a similar interest in Max later on.
Tammy - Similar case to Staci, she only had a very brief speaking role in episode 1 and never in these lines was it implied she was attracted to men.
Mary & Ellody - Only here for a short time (with Mary only having dialogue in the episode she was eliminated in rip), but neither of them express interest in guys.
Laurie & Miles - Same deal as Mary and Ellody, they go pretty early overall but haven't been shown to like men.
Jen - You'd expect someone of her character archetype to mention looking for 'cute guys' or something similar, but surprisingly no? The closest thing she has would be her friendship with Tom, which is treated as 100% platonic by the show even if you don't take into account the fact that Tom is gay.
Taylor - Another surprising one imo, it's never stated or implied that she likes guys in the show, not even a passing mention from what I've seen which I could've sworn happened on first watch. Mandela effect I guess 🤷
Josee - Similar deal to Jen as far as I'm aware, being that her closest relationship to a guy is with a gay man and treated as platonic throughout the race.
Sanders - Pretty clear-cut, no scenes of her expressing interest in men or romance in general.
MacArthur - "What about Brody?" The only time she's shown to return his affection is during the finale and she's actively trying to throw him off his game by using his crush against him. She only asks Brody to call her in the Surfers ending, which she doesn't do at all in the Cadets ending implying that she's most likely only in it for the money.
Scary Girl/Lauren - While she does hold an interest in Damien, nothing in canon says she's attracted to him, only to the sound of his screams.
Nichelle - Too busy having no lines to talk about boys. seethingwithrage
Millie - Zero attraction to men in canon, the most interactions she has are with and about Priya. She's sorta friendly with Damien, but it doesn't rise anywhere above platonic (probably because she shoved him into a meat grinder but who knows) and actively seems to be disgusted by or otherwise pretty averse to most of the male cast.
MK - Has never been shown to be interested in guys or even romance in general. In fact, she actively seems to dislike it as seen in the episode where Caleb and Priya kiss where she goes “Yeah, that was sweet, but it’s also how you get mono” (this is ace mk propaganda btw). There was also Nichelle's intro in season 1 when she was looking at her starry-eyed, clearly a joke but yk still noteworthy.
Julia - My favorite lesbian <3 zero attraction or hints at attraction to men in canon + listen... we all watched season 2 you know what I'm talking about don't lie. The closest things she has to romantic interactions with men in canon are at most one-sided and always with her actively disliking said man on the other side (Wayne + maybe Ripper in season 1).

I'm transmasc and I don't think I completely understand the discussion around TMA/TME.
I'm pretty sure I mostly agree with you. Like, "transandrophobia" is not a helpful or accurate description of the transmasc experience, and I can see how it could be used to belittle what transfems go through.
Transfems definitely get more attention from hate groups. Transmasc erasure sucks, but it can definitely be a blessing when the bigots are picking their targets.
I keep seeing posts comparing trans men to incels and MRAs. I haven't seen many transmascs who would warrant that comparison.
That's not to say it's necessarily an unfair comparison. On the contrary, it probably means that there's a lot of transmisogyny going around that I'm not seeing. And if I'm not seeing it, that probably means I'm inadvertently participating in it.
IDK why I felt the need to send this to you. I guess I was hoping you'd tell me how to do better, which totally isn't your job. Feel free to ignore me and/or tell me to fuck off.
I'll send you $20 for tolerating my bullshit. Have a nice day.
Ok I wanna answer this before I get too high (I'm honestly feeling it already). Thank you for the $20, when I realized I forgot to pack a lunch today that money helped me eat still so legit thank you.
So first off, "trans women get more attention from hate groups, transmasc erasure sucks but can be a blessing." (I can't copy and paste on this screen, so I'm paraphrasing) yes but I wouldn't call erasure a blessing, no matter who it's for. They're two sides of a very fucked coin, on the one side transfems get lots of attention and vitriol, and the erasure of transmascs makes it harder for some transmascs to understand they can be trans. But on top of that, the form of transfems we see are never real representation, 99% of the time it's a transmisogynistic ideal of trans women, it's the weirdo white boy spreading lipstick all over their face just before they smash the mirror in a fit of "dysphoria" kind of shit. Though transfems have extreme visibility, our actual selves are not visible, we are ultra violet rapist horn dogs or we're the super ignorant, super emotional crybaby.
And, a side tangent, cuz you sorta did a thing the transandrodorks do that is frustrating. It's not a measurement of what's "worse." That's not how oppression works, that's not what we are saying, we are talking about the forms of oppression.
Men are not oppressed for being men. They can be oppressed for a variety of things, racism, ableism, interphobia (is this the right term I forget), homophobia, etc etc. Masculinity is rewarded, masculinity is the desire, patriarchy exists so men get to be above women. Things like "misandry" do not exist, they are inventions of violently misogynistic men, your MRAs, your incels, your conservatives (this includes liberals btw).
The person who coined "transandrophobia" used to talk about wanting to correctively rape lesbians. I'm not gonna go at someone's kinks, but the blog was not presented as a kink blog, I literally went there myself and read the posts when this first popped off and they come off as true lesbophobia in the context of their blog and coupled with the misandry posting, this person literally looks like MRAs and incels. The defense the community uses is "it's a kink are you kink shaming?? It was on a private locked blog!" Which, the latter, no it wasn't, I literally went there and looked, and the former. Idk I think if you're saying you want correctively rape lesbians while also talking about misandry and counting "transandrophobia," you look misogynistic and homophobic.
The main writers people follow for transandrophobia related content are straight up liars, who make shit up, and one specific non horse entity consistently cites himself as his own "source" and when he doesn't, he cites terf blogs that are connected to kiwifarms and sites of the sort. They will take bits talked about in feminism and present it as a thing they discovered and present it as transandrophobia. Ie. "Men can't show any femininity and can't cry and that's misandry" despite things like this are discussed at length in feminist texts, men can't do these things cuz that makes them more "woman" in the societal lens. Yeah it's fucked, but it's misogyny, not misandry.
I am, consistently, misgendered by the transandrodorks, and so is every other trans woman that disagrees with them. And it's definitely intentional.
Then there are token trans women who don't know much of anything about feminism or transphobia and will straight up harass you for saying women are oppressed. They often weaponize transmisogyny against other transfems, they misgender, suicide bait, or in velvetvexations case, will stalk your blog for two days even though you ignore her and when she's sees you're on a date with your wife, she goes to your wife's blog and starts messaging her instead. Legit, this woman is one of the worst people on this website, the only reason she's not seen as communismkills 2 is cuz men like her.
On top of this, terfs consistently support "transandrophobia" as a concept and constantly say that transandrophobia is compatible with terf ideology. The transandrodork community is ripe with terfs and crypto terfs. Like that one who said he hoped a friend and I get raped, cuz saying "men arent oppressed" warrants wishing rape on people. Or the trans guy that outright said "trans women are male" and tripled down harder saying "trans women don't experience misogyny and oppress transmascs cuz they're really men," claims that were so wild that even velvetvexations couldn't agree with them lol.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: not every person that believes in transandrophobia is a bigot or a bad person. A lot are just young transmascs who are under read about oppression and history, and this terf/transphobe community swoops in and pretends to be representing them and sucks them in. For every disparaging transmisogynist piece, there's two more that are talking about the problems of transmascs. So when you tell these guys "that's a hate group" they don't remember the post calling trans women men, they remember stuff about T being super illegal. So they think we are attacking them for having a problem, not the actual bigotry on display.
Honestly, if these people would just stop misgendering trans women, they might have more trans women who'd be nice to em. But that's the consistent trend.
Transandrophobia is a violent, transmisogynistic ideology that is propped up by terf ideology. That's why they are compared to MRAs and incels.

Note
this is like if you said "hey if you make something about gay history, don't leave out lesbians because they've been historically excluded, or just call the post 'gay men's history' if you don't want to discuss the exclusion of lesbians" and seeing someone else go "YOU WILL NEVER DIVIDE US" like. what in the bad faith.... this is not even a unique thing!
I used a real example I've had an issue w/ researching. Same with Bisexual men's history. Same with BIPOC queer history (because otherwise it's lists of white queer people w/ no mention of anyone else!) There are just some queer groups which are historically aren't as visible or focused on.
Transfems also deserve to have articles and papers about them (and for them) centering them and using their specific terminology? Like you're not helping anyone by saying "Trans (blanket term)" instead of "Transfem" or "Transfemme". It's not like you're chopping out the "Trans" part or anything or denying them a broader community, you're just being specific about a subset of Trans people with their own language/culture/hardships/etc.
Literally!!!!!

[‼️TW: This post is not sexual content itself however it talks about asexuality and thus also discusses sex.‼️]
Before pride month ends I want to talk about Transformers characters that are on the aroace spectrum!!
I want to clarify that since Cybertonians don't reproduce sexually that makes them all asexual in cannon!
...However the fandom still has a lot of different interpretations and headcannons. Some of these include procreation while others are robots being sexual for the sake of "fun" rather than biology. I personally feel VERY uncomfortable with the idea of sexual reproduction in transformers but fandom is fandom and I am well aware of how it ignores the cannon so this list is made with that in mind.
As for the aromantic part of this post....
Sadly none of those are actually cannon since the creators haven't said anything about it and it's never said out loud in the media these characters are from HOWEVER I feel like most of these are very heavily implied. If you're confused about labels please look them up!
Sorry this post only contains three characters, I'm writing this literally last minute before going to the airport lol. I feel like there are maybe some more that I've missed so you're welcome to comment or reblog if you want to add to the list!

Shockwave: aromantic, asexual, could be aplatonic in some continuities.
I HAD to start with him. Speaks for itself really, if you're in the fandom you're probably familiar with how little emotion Shockwave expresses in general. Sadly though most people either see him as a completely emotionless monster or make him the super ooc :( He has no interest in sex or romance and some versions of him do not care for platonic bonds either.
The fandom sadly does not understand this, I'm not completely against him being shipped with other characters I just wish it was written properly and with his sexual/romantic orientation in mind. I feel like there's some interesting queer platonic lab partner shipping potential here but again this fandom is terrible at not sexualising him for some reason.
He does show care for others in SOME continuities, in Cyberverse we see that he used to be friends with Wheeljack and possibly some other characters. He does have emotions, even in other shows/media, we see him get visibly angry in TFP and Earthspark. So just saying that he doesn't feel anything is a straight up lie. He follows logic although we do see him make non logical choices when influenced by emotions, it's rare but it has happened.
I'm planning to make more content about him and being aroace spec soon. I want to show people that just because you don't feel forms of attraction or love towards others doesn't mean you're completely heartless. And yes I know an extremely stereotypical evil robot probably isn't the best character to use to prove a point like this but I just need people to stop mischaracterising him.
-
-
Shadowstriker: aromantic, asexual.
[most of this is refering to her in Cyberverse, thought I do mention IDW briefly]
What is it with clearly aroace female characters, usually villains, and being called masc lesbians? No offence to lesbians but please y'all let us have some representation. Sorry pooks she doesn't want a girl, she doesn't want anyone actually. Which doesn't mean she doesn't value friendship, just look at how she interacts with Soundwave and Lazerbeak! That's found family if I've ever seen it!
I think she's someone who struggles a lot with emotions and intimacy just in general, though we do actually see her emotions slipping through the "mask" more towards the end of the show, even being happy [thought it was quite bittersweet] and part of a group hug in the last episode. Well done her for actually accepting physical touch that isn't punching someone in the face! She's a very untrusting character who tends to assume the worst in everyone and is really aggressive for most of the show. She has absolutely no interest in romance or sex and is probably apothisexual/apothiromantic. But as previously stated I think platonic love is really important to her. She's the type of person who would kill for her found family, in fact considering she's a Decepticon she probably has.
She's one of those extremely interesting and emotionally complex characters and yet somehow she's always overlooked. I see people talking about wanting more well written female characters and HERE SHE IS! Honestly I'd recommend watching Cyberverse even if you're just doing it for her, it's worth it. I could write a whole essay all about her. Can y'all tell she's my favourite? Because she is.
As for shipping I do like the idea of her being in a queer platonic ship with Flamewar and Slipstream in the IDW comics they're in, though again, I don't think people know how to write qp relationships...
-
-
TFP Soundwave: demiromantic, asexual.
This one is only specific to one continuity and that's Transformers Prime. Not saying other versions aren't on the spectrum, I have a quite couple headcannons, though I feel they might be a bit ooc/self indulgent so I'm not including them since I'm trying to keep this list as "likely to be cannon" as I can.
In the show he doesn't speak and doesn't really have a face so he doesn't really express himself a lot. Though he still definitely shows emotion, just, differently I guess? He is uninterested in sex, I think he could be in a romantic relationship but it would have to be someone he's already emotionally attached to. Platonic love is extremely important to him but specifically his cassettes, they're his family. Others however.... I feel like he doesn't really care for a lot of the characters in the show but then again he doesn't show emotions much so he could just be hiding it.

First thoughts on a Fantasy High Dead Boy Detectives AU:
Ayda is in Edwin's role as the brains of the agency and the ghost from 1916 who escaped Hell. Her father was wealthy enough that she was able to go to a private all-girl's boarding school, but as the only Black girl at the school---who was also visibly queer and neurodivergent to boot---she was treated as an outcast, right up until she got sacrificed in a prank gone wrong. Now that she's escaped, Ayda uses the skills she's picked up and her love of mysteries to help out her fellow ghosts, though she's... not exactly the best at processing her feelings. Especially when those feelings involve her partner in solving crime.
Fig is in Charles's role, because there's no better fit for our lovely, heart-on-her-sleeve punk than the lovely, heart-on-his-sleeve punk---and let's be real, Fig is the most 80's Bad Kid. She attended the same boarding school as Ayda (just, y'know, seventy decades in the future), and while she fell in with the popular girls easily, it didn't take long for them to turn on her once she stood up for someone they were bullying... and, well, that led to her death. While Fig acts carefree and wisecracking, she carries a lot of guilt with her over the fact that she'd written off her family once she found out that Gilear wasn't her real dad, and not only did she never get to reconnect with them, but the experience was jarring enough that she made a lot of bad decisions, which led to equally bad relationships.
Adaine is in Crystal's role as our favorite psychic that is full of rage and anxiety. Her "David" is Penelope, who posed as a cool, older girl who gave Adaine the attention that she was lacking at home---and eventually became her first girlfriend, though that relationship was... not great. Now without a lot of her memories, Adaine's stuck with the Dead Girl Detectives, much to Fig's delight---and Ayda's, eventually. She gets over her jealousy way quicker than Edwin did. While Adaine wasn't a "make someone walk into traffic" kind of person pre-amnesia, she did carry over a lot of bitterness that curdled into something worse when she got swept up into the popular crowd, so... yeah, Fig and Ayda are kind of a blessing for her.
Figuring out the Niko equivalent was a bit harder, but I eventually settled on making her Lucy. She kind of fits the bill of someone who has a lot of sadness but is still unflinchingly kind, and between the pale hair and being dead-but-not-really-dead... yeah, Lucy's wonderful, and it means if I ever write this, I get to figure out who she is as I write her. Also, her dandelion sprites are Kipperlilly and Ruben, because I thought that'd be hilarious.
Thinking more into that, I decided that Sam would be a pretty good Jenny, seeing as she's got the bitchy-yet-loving energy that we all need. She's tired yet protective, closed off yet oddly kind... it works. Even though her style's more of a, uh "mermaid academia" type than goth, I think she'd make a really good Jenny.
And here's where you're gonna have to hear me out... Kristen is the Cat King, or rather, the Cat Queen. As tempting as it is to make her the church girl lesbian who's just come out and is struggling in a small town, I really wanted to hone in on her energy in Junior Year---a confident, easygoing, and hella flirtatious butch who's still a total mess underneath her swagger. I like to think that she was a human girl living in a religious family once (say, when settlers first arrived in Port Townsend), but she got really into witchcraft and wound up devoting herself to the cats, becoming an otherworldly being with nine lives as a result. As it stands, Kristen is hella fun, even if most of what she does is cause trouble.
With that in mind, Kalina was really the only character who I felt matched up with Ester's energy---except for Aelwyn, of course, but seeing as she's Adaine's sister and all, it didn't feel quite right. It could also tie in with Kristen's backstory---say, maybe Kalina was the person who taught Kristen about witchcraft, Kristen wound up getting the better end of the deal, and Kalina's still burnt out about two hundred years later. And in an irony of ironies, that resentment led Kalina to have a wolf familiar instead of a cat... who is, of course, our lovely girl Tracker. (Yes, Tracker has been turned into a girl before, and yes, she and Kristen are exes.)
I'm not quite sure who I want the Night Nurse to be, and you can tell that I'm saving roles for Gorgug, Fabian, Riz, and Ragh in case we meet characters like them in season 2---though, I have been fiddling around with the idea of Riz being an angel and a former agent of Heaven who Ayda and Fig have basically adopted into the agency. This is a first draft, so... yep!

can someone explain to me "an important part of lesbianism is being read as a woman" ? i need to quit threads fr but i was just reading someone posting that cis men cant say they feel like a "lesbian trapped in a male body" because a huge part of lesbianism is people looking at you and seeing a woman. the major pushback point in the comments was "those cis men are trans gay women not ready to come out yet" or sometimes "i say this and i'm thinking about trying out being nb"
and op's response was basically, you have to try visible changes to your appearance and socially transition to see what it "feels like" to be perceived as a woman before you're allowed to call yourself a lesbian
i'm a transmasc lesbian. i've never been a cis man, but that's what people look at me and think. i was 100% perceived as a woman for years, so i guess i'm "allowed" to call myself a lesbian. it felt like the wrong word for years, weirdly before i realised i was trans
but i believe LESBIAN IS A MINDSET
i think it's incredibly harmful to tell trans women, nb people, closeted folks, and yes even cis men who just think they're "quirky" they can't call themselves lesbians if they haven't had a safe chance or a desire at all to present femme. presenting femme is literally the TINIEST part of being a lesbian. you don't get to choose someone else's truth. you don't get to say what does or doesn't make sense for someone else's identity. can someone tell me am i going insane?

why is all of your "evidence" so contridictory? if she came out on lesbian visibility day and all her past relationships are pr beards, why does it matter the bisexual hints she drops? AND if she IS bisexual, why come out on lesbian visibility day and have so many lesbian flag themed hints? why would she be in pr beard relationships if shes openly bisexual?
I DONT CARE ABOUT TAYLOR SWIFT. I DONT CARE ABOUT HER SEXUALITY. IF SHE IS OR IS NOT LGBT DOESNT HAVE ANY BEARING ON MY LIFE UNLESS SHE STOPS POLLUTING THE EARTH WHEN SHE COMES OUT. JUST EXPLAIN HOW THE EVIDENCE WORKS. NOT IN LYRICS. NOT MUSIC VIDEOS. NOT PICTURES FROM INTSTAGRAM. NOT SOMEONE ELSE'S TIK TOKS. NOT HINTS. JUST TANGIBLE PROOF.
Okay first idk why you need to scream at me. Calm the fuck down. And if you don't care about Taylor Swift then I'm not sure why you're on my blog screaming in all caps about her, but let's do this anyways cause I'm in a verbose mood.
Second, it's not my evidence, it's her evidence and her flagging, and I have eyes and a brain capable of a modicum of critical thinking.
And I don't think any of the evidence is contradictory but I kind of understand what you're getting at.
So let me begin by saying that I have no strong opinions on if she's bi or pan or lesbian or fluid or whatever. I think there was a lot of bi flagging in the 1989 era, both bi and pan flagging during the Lover era, and then there's been a lot more lesbian flagging during the Midnights/eras tour period. So if I had to venture a guess I'd say she used to identify as bi and now identifies as lesbian, but I don't feel super strongly about it and I also don't think there's really enough evidence to say for sure one way or another, only that there's more than enough evidence to be certain she's some flavor of queer.
What additionally contributes to the lack of clear answers on labelling is the fact that she does flagging on lesbian visibility day, and then mixes bi flagging and pan flagging in the same music video. But I don't think it's fair to say that if she's (for the sake of argument) bi, then she can only do bi-specific flagging. She can do any kind of flagging she wants, and that doesn't diminish the queer message she's coding. It might also be that she simply identifies as queer or unlabeled, and therefore feels free to mix and match all of these things. Or maybe her label is more complex and reliant on the split attraction model, like bi-romantic lesbian, or homo-romantic bisexual/pansexual.
To address some of your specific statements, she didn't "come out on lesbian visibility day". At least not explicitly. But she flagged very hard and said something that could be construed as coming out in a glass-closeted kind of way.
We also don't know that all of her public relationships have been PRships. They might have been, and I think a lot of them were, but we don't actually know. I think you're also asking, if every public relationship with men was PR, why would she ever flag as bi? But just because the relationships we know about were potentially PR doesn't mean there couldn't have been relationships with men that we don't know about. A great example of this is Martin Johnson, who many people think was a real relationship (and the muse for Dear John).
All this goes back to the point that she can do any kind of flagging she wants. She's not restricted to bi flagging if she's bi, or lesbian flagging if she's a lesbian. Perhaps she vacillates between labels. Perhaps her labels are more complex like bisexual lesbian. Perhaps in addition to whatever her own label is, she wants to give visibility to other queer identities.
Just because we don't know her exact brand of queer doesn't mean the evidence is contradictory. It means we don't know her exact brand of queer.
Lastly, to address your final demand where you want tangible proof except not lyrics or videos or social media posts or hints. Which is a request that's not really based in reality. Because that's exactly where the tangible proof lies. It's in the enormous pile of queer flagging that can't be explained away. It's in the performances where she sings "I want her midnights." It's in her panoply of rainbow outfits. It's in statements like "Gay pride…makes me, me!" It's in all the mv scenes of glass closeting. It's in Jack accidentally outing her. It's in the rep prologue. It's in lyrics that reference hairpin drops and secrecy and religious guilt and fear of being found out. It's in her literally telling us "I prefer hiding in plain sight." This is all queer flagging and if you know how to read it then you can read it. And if you can't or refuse to, then that's on you. If you want to wait for her to shout her identity from the rooftops before you think there's tangible proof, then feel free to wait for that day. I think it will come. But in the meantime, queer flagging IS proof. And the sheer volume and scope and clarity of it makes it tangible.

Btw I've been so shaken by the last episode that I don't think I've even remembered to say how grateful and emotional I am for the bi representation. Because I am. I am. I so am.
Umm. So. To tell a little real life story to explain why this bi representation matters to me...
I'm bi. Hi.
Took me ages to really wrap my head around it. Ages. Years. Even now, well into my adult age (yeah I know I sound like I'm 14 but no I'm not)...
I'm still not out to my family. And it's not that they're the most queer-phobic people in the world. They're actually pretty great.
The thing is... Bi erasure is real. It really is. Even today, bisexuality is not taken seriously.
The amount of times I've witnessed people dismissing bisexuals and bisexuality... Lost count.
Often the idea never even enters someone brain. They don't consider it to be possible. They miss every possible clue because to them, we are practically mythological creatures. Sometimes it feels like people expect to meet a bisexual about as much as they expect to meet an unicorn. Why look for one, they're not real, you know!
"Oh, they're not really bisexual, they're just trying to be trendy, to get attention! Everyone is "bi" nowadays!"
So many times I've heard people dismiss bi people who are out.
Some act like every out-of-the-closet bi/pan person is actually just pretending, that secretly they are 100% into the same sex and just say they're bi because they think that's more accepted.
Some will express that to your face. "Hey, you know that it's okay to come out, right? Just making sure! I'm fine with gays!"
And the amount of times I've witnessed people thinking that bisexuality is like a light switch...
If you're a woman and start dating a woman - you're NOW a lesbian! If you end the relationship and start dating a man - Did you hear? She's straight now! Or alternatively... She's dating a man now? Oh what a headcase, she went back into the closet! How sad!
How and when are we bi, then? Only in polyamorous relationships?
So... Let's just say that this repeated dismissive environment, this persistent refusal to take bisexuals seriously messed with my head.
For years, it kept me in the closet even to my super lovely and queer friends.
I just kept doubting my own feelings and reactions. Surely, I could not be bi, that's not a REAL sexuality! No, I must be just confused. This is what I told MYSELF. Even though I had actual out and proud bi people in my life, whose identity I never doubted.
And also... The representation.
Do you people even realise how widespread the utter ignorance still is?
Imagine trying to come out as bi... after you realise that the person you consider coming out to... May not even REGOGNIZE the word "bi"!!! Yes, SERIOUSLY!!
You know... Because this was a real life event for me. Fun times!
I was playing scrabble with elderly relatives. Realised I had the letters B and I, realised I could score very nicely if I played them.
I felt daring, and had a hunger for winning, so I played them.
Guess what the reaction was?
Confusion.
..."What's "BI"?"
Yes, really.
My elderly uncle did not even KNOW the word. I was so taken back and shaky when I realised this that I could not even manage to come up with a reply. Thankfully SOMEONE knew because man was the mood awkward.
And guess what. It made zero sense that they did not know.
This person who went "What's BI?" was not a person who lived out of touch with the modern world. Nope.
I'm from a nordic country!
My country is supposedly one of the "progressed" ones!
The laws are pretty inclusive,
the media has freedom of speech,
and I know for a FACT that my godparents watch the news EVERY DAY, and even not just watch the news...
They read newspapers. They watch tv. Including silly fictional series with silly queer characters!!
But he still freaking didn't know what "bi" means!!
So that's why representation MATTERS. These dumb fictional queer characters and stories make the real queer people understandable. Visible. Known.
And hopefully some day we won't have to worry if the person we're trying to open up to can accept or comprehend what we're talking about.
So yeah. I'm so grateful for the representation. THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS, darlings ❤️❤️❤️ I love you.

Time Cut is a really bad movie and horrible horror movie, but I don't mind it.
Spoilers ahead: I'm pretty sure that Time Cut is one of those movies specifically created to evoke nostalgia in 90s kids. Now, despite being born in the 90s, I don't consider myself to be a 90s kid. I was born so late in 96 that I may as well have been born in 97.
This movie takes us on a journey with Lucy Field being our guide. Lucy is essentially a 16-18 year old teenager who is invisible in her own life. I don't even know if she has any friends. Everyone in Sweetly (including her parents) only sees her as her deceased sister who was murdered 20 years ago.
On the anniversary of her sisters death, she finds a time machine and accidentally gets teleported back to April 16, 2003.
There we meet Ethan. Ethan is incredibly unimportant. He's nothing more than a red hearing, and the movie heavy handedly tries to convince us that he's the serial killer, because why not? He's not a serial killer. He's just a bully, because bullying was commonplace in 2003.
It also introduces us to Quinn. Quinn is a classifiable nerd that knows a bunch of stuff about Time Travel. How you may ask? The movie never explains. It just implies that he's really smart. To which, lets' be honest. I'm really smart. I do math for a living. I work with a bunch of other brilliant people. Designing time machines is not something we conveniently know how to do, and we definitely didn't know how to do it in high school.
Then we meet Summer Field. Summer Field is Lucy's deceased sister, and if you're LGBT, you quickly pick up on the fact that Summer is a lesbian. The movie drops a couple of hints. For example, Summer asks Emmy if she can come see her. Emmy says no. Then Lucy lies to Summer and tells her that she marries a man one day, and you can see visible disappointment of Summer's face.
It is revealed early on that Summer is nice, but she's nice for 2003. She doesn't stand in the way of bullying, something that someone from 2024 would do, and that becomes the crux of the movie.
We also meet Emmy. She's not horribly important. She's simply a love interest. Summer's love interest to be exact.
The entire plot of the movie revolves around Lucy trying to get back home to 2024. All the while that she's trying to figure out how to get the time machine working again, she ends up trying to save the victims of the Sweety Slasher (the serial killer who originally killed her sister). The first time Summer attempts to save someone, she fails miserably and unnecessarily gets another innocent person killed.
After this Lucy reveals to Summer that they are sisters and that Lucy is actually from the future. Lucy then reveals that Emmy is the next victim. Well, you may remember me saying that Summer is LGBT. Well, Lucy is essentially her ex-girlfriend or ex-situationship. This causes Summer to beg Lucy to help her save Emmy, and that's exactly what happens. Quinn, Lucy and Summer all save Emmy. This proves that the timeline is not set in stone.
However, not understanding how Time Travel works in this fictional cinematic universe, Lucy is convinced and convinces Summer that if Summer lives then Lucy will never be born, which is...
I guess the best way to to explain this movie is that people can become orphaned by the timeline. Essentially, a time traveler doesn't disappear when their timeline ceases to exist. They just become an orphan who no long exists in that timeline and now they have the ability to settle into a completely different timeline. But... they don't know this at that point, and Summer decides to sacrifice herself so that Lucy can exist. Quinn and Lucy intervene in this plan, but before they do, it is revealed that Quinn is in love with Summer -- who is gay.
Upon intervening, it is revealed that the serial killer is none other than incel Quinn from the future, or the past or the current. It's honestly really confusing. I don't think they implied it properly, so I'm just going to postulate this...
Essentially, in the original timeline, Quinn got tossed into a lake despite not knowing how to swim by his bullies Ethan and Brian. Summer laughs, because she's only nice by 2003 standards. Quinn confesses his love from Summer, but she rejects him (she doesn't actually reject him, their conversation is simply interrupted) because she's gay but she's in the closet.
So, this incel somehow makes a time machine in less than 24 hours, steals antimatter from SONR, and he synthesis a plan. His plan is to kill everyone who bullied him, which he didn't... He literally didn't. He killed Emmy. It's not revealed what she ever did to him. He killed Val. It is also not revealed what she did to him. He kills Brian. That one makes sense because Brian helped throw him in the lake. He kills Summer, simply because she laughed when he got thrown in the lake and because she's gay so she doesn't want him. Yet, he never kills Ethan, who also helped throw him in the lake. Then after killing everyone, he plans to escape into the timeline and go where... I don't know. Somehow he ends up in 2024. He is like a pseudo timeline orphan.
The reason that I postulate that the serial killer is an alternate timeline version of 2003 Quinn is because Quinn did not age, Quinn did not exist in 2024, and because I'm sure a 40 year old man would have enough sense to not create time machine so that he can mass murder people. That's very much the behavior of someone who is younger than 25 and male.
Anyway, I digress. Lucy ultimately gets the time machine working and she drags alternate timeline Quinn back to 2024 where she kills him by plunging a knife through his chest.
After that, you expect her to fade away. 2003 Summer to convince her parents that they should have a second daughter via IVF in three years time, and for the movie to cut back to 2024 where Lucy is best friends with her 40 year old sister who is happily married to 40 year old Emmy. Yet, that doesn't happen despite making far more sense. Lucy becomes a timeline orphan. Her parents have no idea who she is. The movie never says if Summer marries a woman or not. It simply says that she doesn't marry a man. Then because Lucy is timeline orphan, but she feels that her life is no different than before, she travels back to 2003 so that she can grow up with her sister. She becomes best friends with Quinn. Her sister Summer begins dating Emmy officially. Summer's parents invite Lucy into the family without asking a single follow-up question. They don't even ask her who her parents are or where she came from. They basically just adopt her. So... yeah...
Ultimately, the movie was weird. It was not scary in the slightest but it was fun. I think it could have been substantially better if the writing was tighter, but I don't mind it. It didn't take itself too seriously, and it was kind of thrown together. One big critique of mine however is, if this Quinn dude would turn into a serial killer simply because he got thrown in a lake and a girl told him 'no', I would not be friends with any timeline version of him. The only difference between the serial killer Quinn and the non-serial killer Quinn was that the serial killer Quinn got tossed in a lake. The non-serial killer Quinn still got rejected. He just understood this time that it's because Summer is gay. However, that shouldn't change things. Quinn should literally just respect Summer's no, regardless.
Anyway... this was my summary of a weird movie with some of my personal takes embedded.

Wrapping up today's events
(For full context, refer to today's posts in the #leasebound tag)
Unfortunately, someone pulled up into a Leasebound fan's ask box and decided to submit a rape fantasy scenario between Shez (a butch lesbian) and Brick (a bigender asexual) to basically "screw the asexuality out of them."
My circle of Leasebound anti's still are unaware of any specific individual within our community submitting it, but we know whoever did it won't come forward to admit their bullshit. As a community, we have made it a point to declare that we do not condone the behavior of the person who submitted the ask, regardless of whether or not they were within our circle. Obviously, neither side wants to claim the person and points fingers at the opposition, but at the end of the day, we can't prove "which side" did what unless the person admits it / someone is able to confirm who it was.
While it may have seemed as though we were glossing over what was going on, it wasn't because we agreed with what was happening. It's because what was said in the ask directly mirrors the other asks being sent in about basically "fucking the gendie ideology" out of Blaire and even Eli (both queer-affirming characters). I say queer-affirming because they're accepting of everyone that falls under the LGBTQ+ spectrum.
I won't call out the blogs by name, but it's also not that hard to find their posts.
Something that piqued my interest is how these fantasies only came to an abrupt stop the moment a Butch Lesbian™️ got involved. Aside from Ruth, Blossom, Murphy, and Ari, Shez is one of the more prominent butch characters.
In the following screenshot, I pointed out this particular ask that one Leasebound fan received (the one who ultimately received the horrific ask):
Screenshot 1: Riley (andro/butch[?] lesbian) x Blaire (femme bi) x Jaden (andro/butch[?] lesbian)
[I only put question marks because I personally can't tell whether the two have a tomboy appearance or fall more under butch, but that's not the point]
Tumblr media
Anon: "Riley has to keep giving Blaire orgasms to stop her from trying to discuss gender with Jaden."
Fan: "Fucking quick time event threesome at that point" and "The slapstick potential is strong."
I also sent this in direct response to how this mirrored what the fan received later on:
Tumblr media
Me: "I don't want to hear anybody defend this line of thinking at all," "This is not okay," and "This has similar energy of corrective rape, if not, outright so."
I then provide the example by reframing the previously shown ask:
-> "Man has to keep giving woman orgasms to stop her from trying to discuss being a lesbian with her male friends."
Directly following this example, I pointed out how that sounds predatory as hell.
I elaborated further:
Tumblr media
The fan didn't condemn the fantasy being portrayed, yet I gave the fan the benefit of the doubt that she maybe didn't realize the implications of what was being described. After all, even I'm blind to certain things until they're pointed out to me or after I've sat with things for more than two hours/days. It happens.
I ended by offering the fan the opportunity to explain where I may have misinterpreted things.
Tumblr media
"You're also more than welcome to prove me wrong." "Help us understand your point of view."
And no reply was made to this reblog from any Leasebound fan that could defend their positions.
A fellow Leasebound anti provided more screenshots of other similar rape fantasies being submitted without a care to what was being depicted.
Screenshot 2: Eli x Self-Insert
Tumblr media
The fans continually deadname, misgender, etc. all trans characters, so that'll explain my pronoun differences.
Anon jokes about Eli's idea of sex, but then the same fan blog from earlier decides to create an... interesting scenario.
Fan: "I ask [him] if either of us is eating pussy that night and [he] tried to hide [their] visible disgust," and "I then ask if either of us is gonna finger blast the other."
This scenario on its own is already acknowledging AND dismissing Eli's discomfort of the topic, but then the fan pushes past an implied boundary (visible signs of discomfort).
Lets put this in perspective of if a man were involved.
"The man asks the woman if either of them were getting head that night, and she tried to hide her visible disgust. He then asks if he was gonna pound her."
I hope I don't need to explain why this is just blatant rape. Pressuring someone into sex is rape. No questions asked.
If you try to force feed someone a hot dog that doesn't want to eat a hot dog, that's violating their bodily autonomy.
This same idea applies to sex. If you don't understand this, please learn about consent, especially in the context of sex.
Screenshot 3: Riley x Blaire x Jaden (again)
Tumblr media
Anon: "Having a threesome would solve everything." "[Blaire and Jaden] wouldn't even be able to accidentally discuss gender because they were too tired from all the orgasms." "Problem solved"
Do you see how often the word "solved" is popping up? "Gender" as a concept is so much of a problem that sex will ultimately "solve" the problem of it being brought up?
Example: "A man fucking a woman would solve everything. She wouldn't even be able to accidentally discuss being a lesbian because she was too tired from all the orgasms."
This scenario is describing using sex as a way to control "undesirable" conversations. Strange, isn't it?"
I know the terfs get a kick out of calling Leasebound antis braindead... but have you seen what yall are saying? And yall are the ones showing up anonymous in the ask boxes and receiving no repercussions. You claim these anons and don't have any issues with it.
But it all comes to a screeching halt when you bring in Shez.
Screenshot 4: Shez [butch lesbian] x Brick [bigender asexual]
Tumblr media
Anon: "[Shez fucks Brick] to break her out of that stupid aspec bullshit and show her joys of being lesbian" and the odd statement of "Shez manhandling."
I'm not saying the anon was or was not a Leasebound fan. That is not what this post is about.
It's about highlighting how it mirrors what fans have already been discussing during their own self-admitted horny posting.
I'll put it out there that the fan blog immediately shut this anon down. Didn't even entertain the thought of the scenario. Absolutely despicable in her eyes, and frankly, is despicable in my eyes too. No one should have sent this to anyone. This is honestly foul and, as I have repeated many times in the past 24 hours, I do not condone this and anyone like this needs to be barred from shared spaces.
It's also worth pointing out the term "manhandling" in this screenshot. Obviously, butch women are seen as strong, traditionally masculine, and more. However, there's something more nefarious with this term being used in this scenario. Manhandling directly means using force/aggression. This isn't even in a ~ooh, sexy~ way. No, this is straight up evil. I do feel as though the term manhandling was homophobic in nature, whether the anon meant that or not. It's not a good look to associate butch lesbians with being forceful sex pests. Lesbians deserve respect. Period.
I'll continue to put an example to further illustrate my point, but I'm sure you understand what's gonna be said.
Example: "Man fucks woman to break her out of that stupid lesbian bullshit and shows her the joys of being straight."
Now lets put it all together
Fantasy #1: "Riley has to keep giving Blaire orgasms to stop her from trying to discuss gender with Jaden." - Fan endorsed the statement
Fantasy #2: "I ask [him] if either of us is eating pussy that night and [he] tried to hide [their] visible disgust," and "I then ask if either of us is gonna finger blast the other." - Written by the fan
Fantasy #3: "Having a threesome would solve everything." "[Blaire and Jaden] wouldn't even be able to accidentally discuss gender because they were too tired from all the orgasms." "Problem solved" - Fan endorsed the statement
Fantasy #4: "[Shez fucks Brick] to break her out of that stupid aspec bullshit and show her joys of being lesbian" and the odd statement of "Shez manhandling." - No one liked this
And compare them to their associated examples:
Example #1: "Man has to keep giving woman orgasms to stop her from trying to discuss being a lesbian with her male friends."
Example #2: "The man asks the woman if either of them were getting head that night, and she tried to hide her visible disgust. He then asks if he was gonna pound her."
Example #3: "A man fucking a woman would solve everything. She wouldn't even be able to accidentally discuss being a lesbian because she was too tired from all the orgasms."
Example #4: "Man fucks woman to break her out of that stupid lesbian bullshit and shows her the joys of being straight."
All of the examples explicitly describe the woman as a lesbian because the root of the matter is that lesbians are the primary focus of the fandom. It's literally what Leasebound is built off of (aside from rampant queerphobia and even dissing some lesbians for certain traits).
All the examples feature a man because if you were to put a man in any of these scenarios, everyone would easily see how fucked up these scenarios were from the very start. Also, it shows parallels with the "manhandling" comment. If a lesbian manhandles another "woman," it's hot, but if a man decides to manhandle a woman, it's universally understood to be a fucking crime.
And within the fandom: If a lesbian fucks the gender ideology from another "woman," then they'll shut up about it.
Concluding Statement
I don't plan on revisiting today's event because I think everyone said what needs to be said, but I wanted to compile everything in one comprehensive post. I'm not trying to call out specific fans. However, this behavior is clearly being endorsed until a butch lesbian gets involved. Maybe don't excuse shitty rape fantasies and this won't happen again?
If you do end up finding out who these blogs are, DO NOT HARRASS THEM. I don't care if you dislike them. Trust me, I dislike them too. That doesn't give you an excuse to be a piece of shit.
If I catch any of yall doing some foul shit like what I discussed in this post, you're not gonna be welcome anywhere I am. Tbh, I feel as though you're a danger to people as a collective.
Be decent human beings for the love of god.
And please, don't publicize your rape fantasies. Keep them in circles where the average person can easily avoid them.
Thanks
