people who are so enthusiastic about the things i make and the fandoms i rep at my booth are THE #1 coolest part of the experience 🥺 i feel like convention artist alleys these days are mostly filled with the same 4 popular anime/mobile games and it's really hard to find less popular anime, let alone things like video games and webseries. you would not believe how many comments I got that people never see things like Team Fortress 2 or Portal in AAs, let alone stuff like Infinity Train or HLVRAI 😭 the people who recognize them are always SO excited and then I'M excited and we are BOTH excited and nerding out together. it's fantastic!!!

So in this AU, where Snow decided to fight against the Capitol. How did that happen? What happened to him that had him go "Wait...maybe this isn't the way to go. We should leave for now."

You see, in this au the ending never happened, Coryo never lied and Lucy Gray accepted him yada yada they travelled and ended up in 13. When they were found they presented themselves to 13 as runaways (himself a trained peacekeeper assigned to district 12 from district 2) Though, they were relatively safe and stable and he was able to climb to power and took back what was "stolen" from his family, Coryo does not want to stay down there forever. He hates the lack of opulence, luxury and life. He also holds a grudge against the Capitol for his "downfall".

In 13, he holds a different name along with Lucy Gray and he wants his name back and his family name's old glory back and of course he wants to get back to Tigris and Grandma'am (tho, grandma'am croaked before they meet again). He hates that he is in hiding, he hates that he is hidden and as president there, He cares little about the people in 13 but Lucy Gray does so he does his best to make the place better for her and his kids (of course himself, he is ambitious and wants some kind of privilege no matter how small in 13) so he's in semi-in contact with the rebels and the Capitol themselves, exchanging goods with them and accepts refugees due to 13's little supplies and population. Then the pox outbreak happens and it was when his son, Orpheus Sage, almost died that he can no longer bear it and so he had 13 join the rebellion fully. After the war was won, he was elected as president of Panem (and all the things it entails) and moved his family to the Capitol.

It's actually kind of heartbreaking how many people feel their life has ended right after high school or college, and honestly, the heavy romanticization of that period of time is so overwhelmingly predominant that it can be hard to avoid. It's insidious to constantly be told that ages 10-24 are the only worthwhile parts of life, that everything after is essentially meaningless and dull.

It's hard not to look around you and think that your life still is open and full of potential when you're told over and over again that the rose-tinted childhood is the last time you were alive. It's hard to realize that your life isn't over when you walk off the stage of your graduation.

We must realize that we will always be full of potentials. Your life won't be over until you take your final breath, and then? That's simply another chapter in your story, one of many. Let yourself realize that you're alive in the here and now. There will be good and bad, but never a complete loss of potential or hope.

do you ever see a bumper sticker and just think about the sequence of events that had to happen in order for you to have that encounter? someone had to have the idea "hey, this would make a good bumper sticker," someone had to hear the idea and think, "hey, i'd like to sell that bumper sticker," and someone had to see the bumper sticker and think, "hey, i'd like to put this on my car." they could all be the same person (someone designed and produced the bumper sticker for their own use), but i like to imagine that each bumper sticker i see represents at least three different parties who thought yeah there's definitely a market and audience for this bumper sticker.

I love "mysteries" and "conspiracy theories" that have really obvious explanations. because like due to the fact that I enjoy the Watcher channel I get constant recommendations for other, worse mystery/ghost/conspiracy youtubers, and sometimes it will be something like "why do so many people go missing in alaska?? conspiracy explained!!" and I'm like. well first of all alaska is both a popular vacation destination and a fuck off huge expanse of wilderness that's very cold and hard to navigate and full of bears. but no you're right it's probably cults or aliens or something.

god imagine foul legacy with a reader who's just as annoying and ballsy as childe ? so them and childe fall in love, but foul legacy can only really watch from the sidelines :( :( but once foul legacy takes over fully it keeps giving them lil flowers and purrin at them but they dont understand that fl is its own entity and not so much an extention of childe

oh my moon and stars that is SO CUTE i love this

you and Childe being absolute menaces together in Liyue, roughhousing and sparring together every few days and generally having a grand old time. until one day when you drop by Northland Bank for a visit, you encounter Foul Legacy, with Childe nowhere to be seen. of course, with your lack of self-preservation, you curiously approach the Abyssal beast and are greeted with an enthusiastic trill, Foul Legacy quickly sweeping you into his arms and hugging you tightly, chittering and cooing in delight. this creature, you realize, this gorgeous sparkly monster, must be the Foul Legacy form Childe told you so much about!! Childe's right here with you, just bigger and fluffier and with pretty star-speckled wings!!

and yet... Foul Legacy doesn't act like Childe. in contrast to the wild and reckless Harbinger, his Abyssal side is soft and sweet as sugar, treating you gently as if you're some precious, delicate treasure. instead of tackling you in a hug or swinging your hand back and forth with his, Foul Legacy chirps and flutters his wings when he sees you, finding trinkets and flowers to nudge into your hands and curling around your body whenever you sit down. Legacy is not Childe, and he never will be, but you learn very quickly to love them both- especially since Foul Legacy will often fall asleep beside you and wake up as Childe, so you get to see both of them drowsy and snuggly in quick succession. it's a very welcome balance, because while you and Childe love to cause havoc and go out into the wilderness with the sole purpose of finding things to fight, you and Foul Legacy enjoy relaxing after long days on the couch together, your hand idly combing through his soft coppery hair. it really is a win-win

And Dean goes to work on his own werewolf case alone, he needs time to think now that Cas is back from the Empty. When he comes back from the hunt, he has a small cut on his cheek and his muscles are sore, Castiel offers to take care of the last one and thanks him for saving people, saving the world, like he deserves it. He doesn’t just massage his back.

Inspiring Fanfiction: Post 10x05, I updated this one with a 2nd smutty chapter

Dean discovers fanfics about Destiel, thanks to Marie, the high school girl that directed the show about their lives. She sent him some fic links to read, when she saw his reaction about Destiel. That’s how Dean ends up reading the one fiction that disturbs him in a way he couldn’t have imagine. And then I have to face Cas at some point.

The brothers are back on good terms with their mother after the Alpha vampire was killed by Sam at the British Men of Letters' headquarters. Dean forgave her for working with them. He got scared of losing her again. Plus he - they - almost lost Cas not so long ago. So he decided that those reasons, and his mother being back from the dead should be good enough to celebrate Christmas this year.

Jack just died. Sam leaves the kitchen first after their drinking session to mourn Jack together as a family, leaving Dean and Cas alone. They drink a little bit more, just the two of them. Then Cas decides to leave the kitchen, but Dean calls him once he is in the hallway. The angel turns around and comes back to Dean.

There is nothing stupid about you and me: 10x09

Dean and Cas are on their burger date while Sam searches on how to find Claire. They talk about the Mark, but their conversation doesn’t just stop there like on the show. Instead, Dean tells Cas about the high school kids’ show about their lives, based on Chuck’s books, Sam and he attended to. He even mentions Marie and her view on Cas and Dean’s relationship, allowing him to know how Cas feels about it.

Healing guilt: Post 11x03

Dean refuses to be healed by Cas, after Cas beat him when he was under Rowena’s dog spell, because he feels guilty about almost killing Cas when he had the Mark of Cain. But Cas thinks about a plan to heal him anyway without Dean knowing.
