What is interesting about Greta Thunberg is that she is one of the few environmental activists that have been very vocal about being Pro-Palestinian and being against the capitalistic death machine. When giving a speech in favour of the Palestinian cause, a man in the crowd came up on stage to interrupt her speech and said “I came here for a climate demonstration not a political view.”
Most white eco-activists are single-issue focused, and use that single issue as a way to acquit themselves of their complexities, to reassure themselves that they’re “the good ones” because at least they’re fighting for a “good cause”, while also retreating to a stance of passivity that their privilege provides when things get too…. “Political”. they are frauds and their activism is facile as it fails to recognise how intersectional environmentalism is—how processes of climate crises, high rates of resource extractions and green-colonialism have their roots in broader structures of colonialism, capitalism, imperialism etc. Environmentalism is and has always been political. and the environmental damages & the magnitude of deaths caused by this warfare should concern you. Land grabbing and genocide should enrage you.
20 year old Greta Thunberg has gotten more harassment from the media for the octopus plushie cameo in her free Palestine post than the middle aged openly racist sick fucks that sit in our parliaments

When someone posted in a private Facebook group for Chicago therapists in March, asking whether anyone would be willing to work with a Zionist client, several Jewish therapists quickly responded, saying they would be happy to be connected to this person.
What happened next sparked fear and outrage among Jewish therapists in Chicago and across the country, and illuminated the atmosphere of intimidation and harassment faced by many Jews in the mental health world who won’t disavow Zionism. Those who replied, offering their services to this unnamed client, soon found themselves added to a list of supposedly Zionist therapists that was shared in a group called “Chicago Anti-Racist Therapists.”
“I’ve put together a list of therapists/practices with Zionist affiliations that we should avoid referring clients to,” Heba Ibrahim Joudeh, the document’s author, wrote. (A request for comment sent to the practice she runs with her husband did not receive a response.) The administrator of the anti-racist group chimed in, praising the list as a way “to be transparent about clinicians who promote and facilitate White supremacy via Zionism.” The comments came quickly: “Amazing, thank you,” one person wrote. “Omg a place I was looking at is on here,” another wrote, with angry emojis.
The only trait shared by the 26 therapists on the list is that they are Jewish. “When I saw this whole list created and my name on the list, I was so confused and in disbelief about how, in 2024, this is considered OK. It was a list of Jews,” said Anna Finkelshtein, a licensed clinical social worker in Chicago who immigrated from Russia as a child. “I do not post publicly about the conflict or about Israel at all, ever. It feels like the only way to feel safe as a Jew in the mental health field is to publically speak out against Israel and condemn it and call it a genocide.”
The anti-Zionist blacklist is the most extreme example of an anti-Israel wave that has swept the mental health field since the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks and the resulting war in Gaza, which has seen the deaths of thousands of Palestinian civilians. More than a dozen Jewish therapists from across the country who spoke to Jewish Insider described a profession ostensibly rooted in compassion, understanding and sensitivity that has too often dropped those values when it comes to Jewish and Israeli providers and clients.
At best, these therapists say their field has been willing to turn a blind eye to the antisemitism that they think is too rampant to avoid. At worst, they worry the mental health profession is becoming inhospitable to Jewish practitioners whose support for Israel puts them outside the prevailing progressive views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
“The goal in therapy is to provide compassionate care to whoever walks through your door,” Dean McKay, a professor of psychology at Fordham University, told JI. “As part of our training — I don’t remember in my own training, and it’s not the way that I train anybody else, to ever say, ‘Look, here are the people who are worthy of our care.’”
“We all worried that it could get this bad, but I don’t think any of us were actually expecting it to happen,” said Halina Brooke, a licensed professional counselor in Phoenix, Ariz. Four years ago, she created an organization called the Jewish Therapist Collective to build community among Jewish professionals and raise the alarm about an undercurrent of antisemitism in the field. “Once Oct. 7 hit, we’ve all been in crisis mode since literally that morning, and the stories that have come in from colleagues and about their clients have been horrifying.”
*****
The antisemitism problem in the mental health profession is more than just workplace gossip. Jewish therapists — and Jewish clients — worry about how the growing anti-Israel orthodoxy will show up in clients’ sessions, and if it will affect their care, especially at a time when more people than ever are seeking therapy. A Gallup survey showed that in 2022, 23% of American adults had visited a mental health professional in the prior year, compared to 13% in 2004.

so floyds colors in the movie look just ever so slightly duller than they did when the brozone bros were younger (at least to me) and that coupled with the down facing ear tips leads me to believe he’s a little gray himself (not surprising after…everything)
maybe thats one of the reasons he didn’t come back? he used to be the sensitive one, most likely the peace maker of the family who tried to talk things out (as seen when he tries to talk vanner into letting him go) and put on a smile to hide his own issues
what if he didn’t come back because he couldn’t do that anymore? that the issues he kept to himself were starting to affect his color and he thought others knowing would cause more issues then it would solve? that is until he was kidnapped and physically couldn’t.
now don’t be fooled im not defending him leaving branch alone by any means it was still a terrible thing to do im honestly just speculating with the little screen time floyd got
i love your au and the fun ideas that come with it keep it up with the amazing work!
also may i be dubbed 🐝 anon?
Thanks for the love!!! And don’t worry I’ll keep it up!
Floyd definitely had to have been grey right?!!?! Especially for a good period of time since his ears were deformed similar to Branch’s and when the other trolls went grey there ears stayed the same so he had to have been grey for a good period of time (maybe he turned grey during a rough patch in his solo career and felt like a failure leaving Branch for a failing career)
Honestly it would be hypocritical of me to hate on Floyd for not coming back because he was ashamed of being grey (when a part of the grey village au is how all the grey pop trolls are to ashamed to go back to pop village)
I give the brothers a lot of hate as you can see in my past posts with how the village is shown to despise them! When in reality I do LOVE them to!! I just have a lot of hate for their actions and feel they should be given consequences for them, such as their brother moving on and getting a new family (plus an entire village that hates them) Honestly I think it’s fine that they left, family can’t be forced to stay with you your entire life (like when your siblings go to college) my problem is how they left during an ARGUMENT! How they cut contact, How they left A BABY!!! In a town with a yearly genocide of trolls (and their grandma) He was left in the care of an old lady, an old lady who was old (I have nothing against grandparent caretakers) She would have had a difficult time raising a baby with her age (not to mention being a gambler, weird thing to learn about her) She seems to have done really well raising Branch from flashbacks in the show or when she’s talked about BUT STILL!! She also could’ve dropped dead any second (who knows what a trolls life expectancy is?!?!?! She could’ve been on death’s doorstep for all we know!)My point is they left him in a bad environment where he could die by the hands of troll eating Bergens Rosie did good, but she was old (also she let all her underage grandkids leave LIKE WHAT??!!?!! She was just playing rummy during the fight too 😦 wtf Rosie!!!)
Sorry this was a bit of a rant- and I don’t mean to offend anyone with how I think it was bad that grandma Rosiepuff was made his guardian because she is old!! I was mostly speaking through my cousins experience with how grandparents can’t be as attentive as they should when taking care of a kid (let alone a baby) because of their age, they will try their best they just have problems due to being older (I mean their bodies aren’t exactly as they used to be)

Today is my birthday, my 18th birthday to be exact. This is going to be a rant and likely long. If you do not wish to read this entire thing, I do not blame you. I do, however, encourage people to donate to families in Palestine. I will provide links at the bottom.
I don't know how I feel about today, especially after this year. I have seen unimaginable levels of pain coming out of the global south. Horrific amount of pain and suffering, not just to the people and animals who live there, but towards the environment as well. All for what really, you spend your entire life paying for things you need so you don't die. For what? Why do live like this? Why is this the way things have to be? Your tax dollars are being used to bomb the global south. Children are being slaughtered by the dozens. I, like many Americans, wasn't taught the complete truth about America's involvment in global atrocities. This doesn't mean you should sit there and pretend it doesn't exist. What the actual fuck is wrong with some of you people? Kamala was never going to be a salvation. The amount of vitriolic racism liberals spewed the week following the election because their side lost. If you geniunely think that Democrats give a single fuck about your rights, they don't. I'm sorry that Trump won, but they are both facists. Also, stop blaming Arabs, third-party voters, and Hispanics/Latinos. Maybe look inward to find why your preferred candidate didn't win. If you went somewhere that was on the BDS list simply to "own it" to people in Gaza, you are despicable. You do not care about liberation, you only care for your own comfort. Your privilege is showing.
Something that I have been thinking about is how young the people is Palestine are. You have people around my age being responsible for their entire families' lives. That is actually insane. This genocide has been ongoing for 13 months. Israel has been colonizing Palestine for the past 76 years. This has affected entire generations, entire families, whether they live in Palestine or were displaced. These were very real, complex people that are just gone now. I can't think about the martyrs without being angry at the system. Without being angry about my passive complacency in the system.
The systems that are oppresing those in Palestine are the same systems oppressing you right here. You don't think that killing thousands of innocent people there is because they care about the people here. There are billions of dollars that is being used to annihilate children in the Middle East. Politicians don't care about you. You are just a statistic to them. You need to get involved in your communities. Protect the most vunerable people around you. Protect the children everywhere. Take the time to educate yourself. Stay up to date with the news. Take care of your loved ones. Protest. Boycott. Take action against the systems that bind us.
Donate to Palestinians:
This is Maha, a 4th-year engineering student. She has her mother and father, as well as, 5 siblings; 2 sisters and 3 brothers, 4 of whom are married with children. She is hoping to raise money to help her and her family leave Gaza. She is at 5% of her goal. $1,632 / $30,000
This is Fayez Al-Kafarna, a 28 year old computer engineer from Northern Gaza. He is supporting 2 families, his own and another family. He is the sole provider for both. There are food shortages, lack of hygiene products and medical supplies. He is at 42% of his goal. $10,465 / $25,000
This is Aya, a 27-year old woman living in Gaza. There are 8 members of her family, including her. She has a 3-year old son, Bassam. She is trying to evacuate her and her family from Gaza to Egypt. She is at 8% of her goal. €4,667 / €55,000
Please donate if you can.

I'm gonna be wild and put this on an account where it might be shocking to post, but it needs to be said.
There is a genocide going on in Palestine, it is inherently wrong, and anyone who disagrees is upholding islamophobia and colonization.
Yes I have posts on my account that go against that and are more zionist. Guess what? I found out I was fucking wrong and I'm ashamed of myself for ever siding with those people. They're all on the wrong side of this conflict morally and it's reprehensible. It's also against Judaism, and even though they might argue that it isn't, Judaism has never been a religion that celebrates murder and slaughter as a solution, even if all else fails, which it hasn't in this case.
If you disagree with me, look up the founding of Israel, how the British government didn't care about Jews and just wanted them to go away and to have a puppet state that was friendly to them in the middle east, so they used Jews to achieve that. How could a country founded that way ever be moral? How could it be truly safe for Jews?
Look up how the Balfour Declaration was supposed to give non-Jews in the middle east rights and keep the rights of Jews outside of Israel safe. That's been a complete failure, I read it for the first time and laughed out loud. I don't know how anyone can look at that founding document and say "yep that's what Israel is doing today!" It's never been worse for Jews and it's all Israel's fault for constantly promoting the idea that the modern state of Israel is inherently central to Judaism, and not an ethnostate that's trying to slaughter the minorities around them that they don't like.
Look up the massacres that have been going on in Palestine. Attacks on displaced persons camps? Imagine if that had been Jews in the DP camps shortly after WWII. How many Jews would no longer be in existence if that had happened? How can people call themselves Jews if they support that? Think of the most recent massacre after writing this (on 6/9/24) - who the fuck disguises themselves as aid workers to sneak into somewhere and slaughter them? I saw rightful outcry when Hamas was doing that, and no pro-Israelis I saw protested against the IDF checking ambulances to 'make sure the need was real', so why is that being supported now? It's fucking disgusting, and if you aren't wholeheartedly condemning this you should be ashamed.
If you want to know the actual facts of what's going on and not the version that's been astroturfed by Israel (yes they have done this consistently over the past decades, look it up, there are literally campaigns to talk about how 'good' Israel is for queer people and the environment, as long as it's only their colonialist view of 'nice queers' and 'the Israeli environment'), try some books! I've read a few that are really good - Walking to Jerusalem by Justin Butcher and Light in Gaza edited by Jehad Abusalim, Jennifer Bing, and Mike Merryman-Lotze. Those books make it clear how reprehensible the behavior of Israelis are (throwing rocks at people for fun, demolishing peoples' houses and laughing, not letting them eat, constantly arresting and harassing them), and how despite all of it there are still Palestinians who are willing to work with Jews and consider them friends as long as they put in a bare minimum amount of support.
Or, you know, you could ignore this post and call me, a Jew, antisemitic for pointing out how awful Israel is being and how it's all against the laws of Judaism.
I hope everyone who disagrees is ready to make massive amounts of teshuvah in the future.

Students are massed peacefully on campus, making politically charged demands on university presidents. The police are summoned, leading to mass arrests and even to violence — and to the collapse of confidence in the administration. You may see the punchline coming: This picture isn’t drawn from USC and Columbia University of the present day, but Berkeley in 1964. The lessons should be obvious. Bringing police onto a college campus on the pretext of preserving or restoring “order” invariably makes things worse. It’s almost always inspired not by conditions on campus, but by partisan pressure on university administrators to act. Often it results in the ouster of the university presidents who condoned the police incursions, and sometimes even in the departure of the politicians whose fingerprints were on the orders. In other words, nobody wins. Perhaps in recognition of the astonishing ignorance of college administrators of their own responsibilities, the American Civil Liberties Union last week issued a succinct guide on how to fulfill their “legal obligations to combat discrimination and ... maintain order” without sacrificing the “principles of academic freedom and free speech that are core to the educational mission.” [...] The ACLU cautions that “inviting armed police into a campus protest environment, even a volatile one, can create unacceptable risks for all students and staff.” Its statement points to the history of excessive force wielded by law enforcement units against “communities of color, including Black, Brown, and immigrant students.... Arresting peaceful protestors is also likely to escalate, not calm, the tensions on campus — as events of the past week have made abundantly clear.” [...] The history of campus protests suggests that they generally appear more threatening and disruptive on the spot than they prove to be over time. Strong, “decisive” responses almost always backfire. [...] They don’t care a hoot about the “safety” of students, or about the rise of antisemitism nationally, or about hurtful rhetoric emanating from the tent colonies on campus, which they claim to be their concerns. Instead, they’re trying to exploit what appears to be a violent situation to pursue their larger campaign to demonize higher education — in fact, education generally — by softening it up for the imposition of right-wing, reactionary ideologies.
Michael Hiltzik at Los Angeles Times on the nationwide suppression of protests against Israel's genocide campaign on Gaza on college campuses by calling the cops to break them up (04.29.2024).
Michael Hiltzik's Los Angeles Times editorial on the campus protests against the Gaza Genocide is spot-on.
This quote is right-on: "Bringing police onto a college campus on the pretext of preserving or restoring “order” invariably makes things worse. It’s almost always inspired not by conditions on campus, but by partisan pressure on university administrators to act."

to those leftists who are "uncommitted" or will vote third party: what exactly is your alternative? you know goddamn well your "protest" vote isn't gonna change shit & may help trump win. you scoff & claim that "OBVIOUSLY i don't want trump to win 🙄" but you're working harder to make sure Harris loses than he does.
i can't get over how y'all know "so much" about far left theory... but you know jack shit about how the American government works. you already act like the president is a monarch. i NEVER hear y'all talk about how important local & state voting is because most of you spew the bullshit that is "my vote doesn't matter."
the extremist Republicans have been playing a long fucking game. a few genocides will happen on our own soil if they gain all the power they want - that of immigrants, specifically brown people, & LGBTQIA. they will destroy them & anyone who wants to help them. this has been a long game because they can count on their voters actually participating in every election & mostly old people are the ones doing the voting.
we all complain about old people being selfish, how "they had theirs & will work to make sure younger generations don't." young people however are NOTORIOUS for not showing up at the polls. where the fuck are you leftists complaining about all the horrible bad things? y'all almost act like shocked Pikachu faces when piece of shit politicians get power then do horrible things. WHY AREN'T YOU ADVOCATING FOR LOCAL POLITICIANS.
if anything, Republicans live more in the real world than leftists who want their precious, magical, instantly-fix-everything revolution. Republicans have been patiently playing a long game & it's been WORKING. leftists get mad that changes they want don't happen instantly so they just give up on the system altogether. y'all want politicians to check ALL of your goddamn boxes or they get no help from you.
your protest vote in this election is selfish. you're not being smart about this. for fuck's sake, you're not marrying Harris, you're thinking of the long game. we need to work hard to make sure trump loses. the likes of jill stein, who is also a traitor, will not save us. she will hand us over to Russia on a platter. you want the US to collapse? you are so fucking foolish that you not only remain ignorant of how our government works but also geopolitics & all the delicate nuance. YES, the United States is fucked up, but world leaders are more nervous about a trump second term than not. HE FREED THE FUCKING TALIBAN.
you think things will be the same as ever? you're as bad as MAGA. you want us all to fail & all it will cost is LGBTQIA folks, immigrants (including those who have been here for decades), any woman who needs some kind of abortion care to save her life, children as more get gunned down, the elderly & disabled & anyone else who qualifies for social security & Medicare, veterans, indigenous folks, the environment since they don't believe in climate change WHICH AFFECTS THE ENTIRE DAMN PLANET, etc. but at least you're conscience will be clear.
please be smarter than Republicans & think this through. in another election in 1995 in Isreal a protest vote occurred & as a result netanyahu won by LESS THAN A WHOLE PERCENT. they were protesting AGAINST him. your "principles" could aid in harming us all. "they should have chosen a better candidate" our system led us to either choosing Harris or trump. for now it sucks but one of them will govern us. if you're so unsure then you might as well look forward to trump winning. he's not long for this world so jd fucking vance will be president instead. he's much younger & more evil, horrible, & psychotic. THINK ABOUT THE LONG GAME. vote locally & at state level, not just during thr general election. y'all don't sound smart to me; you sound prideful & short-sighted.

if said content was from someone whose account name was related to thinking my best friend and i were romantically involved, i'd check out the account before reposting (even if the content i was planning on reposting didn't have anything to do with said shipping thoughts)
i don't blame th, but i do wish he checked the account 😞
TW: mention of triggering words/actions such as “rape” but not the actual action.
Hi Anon,I hope you can forgive me for using your post to address a topic I've been meaning to discuss. The following has absolutely nothing like for real 💜🙏🏾 against you, but it kinda sets the perfect scenario, so imma take advantage it. BUT imma offer you a jikook hug in exchange, hope you can accept this for your very honest and not blaming frustration 🥹🫰🏾💜
Tumblr media
So the topic is: SHIPPING.
Remember that chapter 2 blog which I promised, but NEVER delivered? 🤡🤡🤡 Yeah, so,shipping was going to be one of the many subsections of that blog, which to be honest with you, is sitting unfinished in my draft, and most likely will stay like that … BUT, luckily for me not sure for y’all 😬😬 today serves itself as a perfect day to actually give it an applicable context. Through today's familiar mayhem, I read a post which I think will give the perfect context to the topic of shipping. It is a post from @akookminsupporter, the following one:
I actually happen to agree with this 100%, because I do agree that we don’t want the people we stan to directly, or indirectly, endorse problematic situations, particularly those that are recognised as such universally. For example:
GENOCIDE a UNIVERSALLY KNOWN ISSUE and NOT DEBATABLE PROBLEM
RAPE a UNIVERSALLY KNOWN ISSUE and NOT DEBATABLE PROBLEM
RACIAL SLURS a UNIVERSALLY KNOWN ISSUE and NOT DEBATABLE PROBLEM
You get my point.
Tumblr media
Now when it comes to shipping, it is WITHOUT A DOUBT one of the greatest plights within our fandom in particular, but in reality it is an issue in kpop and other music genres as a whole. Yet, the reality is that shipping is indeed a traditional tool REALLY HATE CALLING IT THAT BUT … that is almost always used as a means to a common and popular end. So the questions are:
Do fans within the kpop fandom consider it an issue? Yes and No.
Do people outside the kpop fandom consider it an issue? … Do they even know about it, or about it being a serious issue, within its perimeter?
Do the idols consider it an issue? … Yes? and No?
In its entirety, as all the questions don’t actually have a universally unanimous answer, SHIPPING in general, as of 17 January 2024, can’t be considered a universally known and agreeable issue. BUT, in the case of kpop, the situation is much worse. To begin with, we are unable to definitively agree on whether, or not, shipping is actually an issue to begin with, or not; be it the idol or the shipper. Nobody, in their right mind, is out there making jokes about, for example, genocide. If they are, they will righteously face big ass consequences by almost ANYONE who stumbles upon said comment/s. Shipping, on the other hand, the only people who would care, are the people within said field/environment. But, as I am a very integral part of this fandom, I know that, for us, it has become quite a nerve wracking issue, so let’s go a bit deeper.
Tumblr media
Let’s go with the generally known concept within kpop that a debuting band is very likely to engage in fanservice and, consequently, form ships. The idols know, the fans know. Then, let’s give it 4 years? More or less many bands decided that “you know what? I don’t need to do this anymore” and as a consequence, some have tried to address this subject, and some just pretend to not know anymore. No matter the choice, the fact still remains that their related shippers were created, toxic or not, and 9 out of 10 cases; they ain’t going nowhere.
In the case of BTS, it is actually very funny because the only person who has allegedly tried to address this, is the one person who is constantly under fire for “feeding his shippers”. What is even funnier, to me at least, is that none of his 6 members actually came out to back him up, the day he challenged his viewers regarding shipping, at least not that I recall, if you know of any members that was actually supporting Tae, please let me know. So, if none of my bandmates seem to find it an imminent problem because let’s be honest, they had to deal with far bigger shit, apparently, and the company seems to not find it a panic-worth problem, apparently, then, if I were Tae, I’d be initially hella frustrated, but eventually I’d be like: FUCK IT. Which is the mentality I honestly think they all end up applying, in the kpop world.
So, what EXACTLY IS considered shipping?
Repeatedly mentioning the name of a shipped/rival member? Posting pictures with a shipped/rival member? Touching a shipped/rival member? Spending time with shipped/rival member? Standing next to a shipped/rival member? Etc. Just so you know, If any, or all, of these qualify with shipping, then maknae line is UNIVERSALLY within our fandom FUCKED, and yes, only them, because, let’s be real, not many care about the shipping involving the hyung line, even though they do engage in the same type of behaviour … except for Yoongi, he is kinda in the middle, like some sort of collateral damage.
Tumblr media
So then what should we do? Should we completely ban shipping? Should shipping be banned maybe 4 years after the debut of all groups? Or should shipping have regulations, some kind of universal judge that presides and guides shipping behaviour? Should shipping fanfictions be abolished? Should unit names be restricted to the sole use of members? Should members cut out time in their life to make sure that they are aware of shipping and their consequences? Soooooo many questions, and probably tooooooo many answers, but the one fact still remains that MOST LIKELY these are all issues for those consuming the provided “shipping content” but not for those providing said “shipping content”, because for example:
And here I will be applying the parent/guardian/teacher/authority figure test, as in , for the next set of examples would any of the aforementioned figures be alarmed? Following are my test results  on whose problem it is, between the fandom and its idol.
A JM fan-dedicated birthday party, being crashed by rival shippers: Shippers problems. JM’s mail being stolen: Park Jimin problem, because tbh it could have been anyone, not necessarily a shipper.
JK having to look at a poster saying that he is in love with Tae at the airport: Shippers problems. JK having an actual stalker: Jeon Jungkook problem, because tbh it could have been anyone, not necessarily a shipper.
Tae posting a picture with an shipped/rival member: Shippers problems. Tae finding a girl in his private lift with a marriage certificate: Kim Taehuing problem, because tbh it could have been anyone, not necessarily a shipper.
And don’t get me wrong: name dragging, defaming, lying, character bashing, graphic obscenity, etc, they are all very painful issues to witness, and endure, but it always mainly occurs within the kpop environment. When articles write about perhaps a lazy member, when other fandoms drag our favs to pieces, in the end, when the global announcements are made, none of those descriptive, obscene qualities follow. Grammy nominated BTS, is just Grammy nominated BTS, not paving crew Grammy nominated BTS, or “worst fandom” fuck y’all possessing Grammy nominated BTS. ‘Namean?
Furthermore, the truth probably is that, at the level of BTS, the artist DOESN’T HAVE TO SEE ANY OF THAT BULLSHIT, which is why it ultimately ends up being an “US” issue. Even when toxic shippers reach higher entities, like the company, government offices etc, the second these entities see that it is about a ship, after I am hoping due diligence, they are dismissed, pronto. And so, reiterating, we are left with the bulk of it all 🤡🤡🤡.
Tumblr media
So if, taking today as an example, Tae sees a post ABOUT HIMSELF not even his ship, just himself, by one of his shippers, we can assume that he has a pretty good idea about what might be on their page, which to be very honest, I won’t blame him for not wanting to check, but obviously, given all that we’ve been discussing, the idol themself is probably made to not have to think about it at all, as it is considered accepted, not acceptable, behaviour.  ALSO they would leave any related, and/or possible issues, to a designated team, which will assess if there is or not a real threat. Because historically, thus far at least, if there were any life-threatening hazards the company seems to take it VERY SERIOUSLY and any other threat is also dealt with accordingly.
But what if, for example, by not checking the shipper’s page, Tae had allowed a human trafficking account to prolifer?! … let’s not 🧢:
TODAY, nobody was angry because of the fact that him not checking the page meant that he could have missed a potential infringement of human rights.
AND If they were a  human trafficking page, why is IG allowing them a platform and not quickly doing something about it?
In addition to the fact that, it is a real thing that, CURRENTLY, the accounts that are most likely to post about Tae aren't OT7s nor his biased fans (they may not be that fast or have the numbers) not even tae solos (for lack of numbers or different immediate priorities, such as streaming) but, you guessed it, taekook shippers. Hence, his algorithm will reflect accordingly.
I mean, are we to tell JM to stop affectionately hug his members? Do we dare telling jk to stop liking shipping tiktoks or mention members' names? ….
All that just to say that @ejassy, in reality and effectively, by reposting said story, Tae wasn't actually endorsing shipping, because shipping in SK, differently from smoking or doing drugs, is generally not frowned upon. It is not an action or message that needs any kind of endorings, because within the kpop world, those who use it as a tool do not consider it a problem, hence, it is very openly accepted as a part of the culture they willingly, or not, help create.
“But so-and-so gets dragged viciously, and disgustingly, everyday” I know. They probably know as well, but I’ve already discussed their responsible personnel. As for us, we know what to do, report report report! . I mean, I’m sure that they have a PR team that tells them about the good trends or good SM news, achievements, etc. “So what? .. we fans are stuck with toxic shippers and our favs not acknowledging or doing anything about it?” … 🤡🤡🤡
Tumblr media
I don’t know.
We mostly all know about shipping culture’s systematic past, we know about its problematic present. In all honesty, it feels a bit like a lost battle but recently Kpop fans were able to make it known that, for example, for good reasons, they are against Starbucks. And it very effectively got to their idols, because said fans were united and in agreement. But within the shipping world, they all hate the other shipper and at the same time they kinda don't want to stop their own shipping, because they are really not against it, in fact, perhaps, they’d like some boundaries set, but who is to decide said boundaries? OR should shipping be considered a universal issue? … I think shipping has actually become an issue, particularly when regarding the queer community, BUT, what do I know, right? So, what's the solution ....

PS - Once again, thank you Anon, now I'm off to bed 😴😴😴

*this idea came about because I have Kai x Tali Brain rot and I’ve been listening to hoziers ‘like real people do’ on repeat so enjoy, and thank you to @dynamite124 for spitballing this with me X3*
———
Taliesin: *sitting by the fireplace, thinking everyone else had gone to bed* … *quietly opens the dossier on the Akaviri Riiju-Lei had retrieved from the thalmor embassy and reads through it, chest growing tighter as he reads every detail on the genocide that was lead against Kaidans family, and adding up this was why he was on the run his whole life, never having a childhood, never feeling safe* … *closes it and takes a deep shaky breath as he tries to calm down before spotting the letter they’d found in the cache left behind for Kaidan, just left on the coffee table where Kaidan had fallen asleep earlier before going to bed* … *picks it up and reads it, tears overflowing from his eyes as he reads possibly the only words Kaidan would ever see from his mother, all because of the thalmor* oh gods… I’m a monster- *sets it down and buries his face in his hands sobbing quietly feeling immense guilt for being with the thalmor, for being with the people who’d hurt someone so dear to him*
*soft footsteps and humming*
Kaidan: *walks upstairs humming softly only to see Taliesin sobbing by the fire* … *smiles and turns from humming to softly singing as he walks up behind him* 🎶~What did you bury before those hands pulled me from the earth? *gently places his hands on his shoulders giving them a soft squeeze* 🎶~I will not ask you where you came from, I will not ask you, neither should you… *slides his arms around his shoulders embracing him from behind with a soft kiss to his temple, frowning seeing the high elf not even acknowledging his touch in his grief* 🎶~ Honey just put your sweet lips on my lips, We could just kiss like real people do…
Taliesin: *sniffles and chokes back another sob as he holds onto the strong arms embracing him* y-you sing terribly. Y-you should be mad at me for what the thalmor did t-to your family, t-to you-
Kaidan: and yet, I’m not… you weren’t responsible for what happened to me… you grew up in an environment that glorified the thalmor… you didn’t know any better. But I’ve seen you change into a new person since I’ve met you… a good person.
Taliesin: *sniffles trying to keep his walls up* I-I’m not a good person and youre an idiot.
Kaidan: maybe, but you’re bad at hiding your emotions. You care about me.
Taliesin: I-I did not say that.
Kaidan: didn’t need to, you care.
Taliesin: s-stop putting words into my mouth! Aren’t I allowed to feel guilty?!
Kaidan: *gently tilts his head back* You care.
Taliesin: I do no- *lets out a soft, sweet little moan as Kaidan silences him with a kiss*
Kaidan: *smiles pulling away and admiring his beautiful but tear stained face* since I’m such a ‘terrible singer’. Why don’t you sing for me now, piper~
Taliesin: *sniffles and dries his eyes trying not to smile* oh- gods… damn you…

Ok, I want to share my own theological theory regardless of why Judas Iscariot was (even now) reviled by humanity.
One could think that's because he sold Jesus out for thirty silver coins, and that's unforgivable. But friendly reminder that Jesus could be along with thieves and prostitutes, and still forgiving them.
Then why Judas could be any different?
Two reasons I could think of:
First is the possibility that Judas Iscariot was romantically in love for Jesus Christ.
Why such thing could be a big deal? We're talking about people living in the 1st century in the Middle East, Jewish people who follows the God's law eagerly and devotedly. We know about the mess it was the Old Testament, who God was rageful and giving harsh and destructive punishment upon humankind for one reason or another.
One of his crimes were the genocide of the twin cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Maybe the people there weren't all bad but of course evil people could still exist. And as mentioned in Lots' story, when God send the angels to check on the local population to see if there's good people living there, they were attacked by a mob. The men wanted to force the angels. The crime here is men forcing intimate activities with other men. And the religious didn't saw those activities as it should be, violence against others who couldn't defend themselves. Instead, they see the whole homosexual relationship as a sin and the only reason why the cities were destroyed at the end. In their thoughts, both cities were doomed because homosexual relationship were a thing, instead of seeing such forced acts as violent action like a murder.
We could see that the Jewish condemns homosexually heavily at the implications of the cities' destruction. How a gay man could live in such oppressive environment? Judged and losing the grace of God by loving in a way the law condemns?
If Judas felt romantic love towards Jesus, certainly it could had frightened him to his core, knowing the cities' tragic fate and reason behind it. Maybe he also followed Jesus in order to fix himself and been more closer to God.
Instead, he fell in love for his Lord.
It could had been excruciating. Even more if Jesus is all loving and forgiving.
And even if Judas could had tried his best to hide his feelings, three years in the group could had alerted the others that Judas is acting differently towards Jesus. They could had suspected that Judas had a secret? Not about been a thief, but something else.
Something more... Sinful.
Maybe when Judas kissed Jesus in the arrest, confirmed their suspicion. And even if Jesus tried to preach about forgiveness and love, the idea of Judas having homosexual feelings for their Lord, their Messiah, was beyond been blasphemous for them. They could had been disgusted by Iscariot, and then (surely behind Jesus' back), they started to spit venom about Judas to their own followers the next years. Of course they couldn't say that Judas was in love for their Savior, could had give them an awful image. That's why they created the whole conception of Judas been a thief and a greedy betrayer. Easier than admitting they had a homosexual apostle among them, and certainly the one Jesus loved the most.
The Beloved Disciple.
They felt special for been chosen by the Messiah himself, unable to accept one of them had some special privileges, and more in that nature (you could see they weren't happy that Mary Magdalene was cared by Jesus, thinking of themselves the only ones worthy of his attention).
The others "reviled" the idea, so convinced that any homosexual man is by default unforgivable by God's law, only because of the story and Sodom and Gomorrah. They hated Judas Iscariot the following decades, then centuries. Portrait him as a greedy betrayer who loved money more than God, and we never argued against that.
And sadly, even in the Bible, Jesus is been among the sinful and welcoming them with open arms and a smile. All kind of sinful people, but you know which group wasn't seen there? The homosexual.
The thieves, prostitutes, tax collectors, even Roman guards and soldiers. Jesus still welcomed and prayed for them. But the homosexual? No sights.
So if Judas Iscariot was a closeted gay man who had to hide his identity for the majority of his life out of fear, suddenly met Jesus of Nazareth, welcomed him on his group, loves him openly and Judas inevitably feel in love for him. And maybe Jesus loved him too in that way, but it had to be a secret.
It could make sense that the other apostles' repulsion towards him make them to portrait Judas as the worst of the worst. And humanity believed them.
It is very tragic and unfair, since Judas had to sacrifice his beloved and their mutual love for humanity's sake.
And the second reason, to make short: to distance themselves from the Jewish who condemns Jesus. And that leads to make the Christians to believe that Judas Iscariot is the perfect example of a betraying and greedy Jewish, leading the antisemitism to rage on for generations.

AOT anon has returned with a gift!
TL; DR: Antis’ moral condemnation of AOT fans has functionally created a perfect environment for gamergate but anime, and worse.
First off, i want to state that I agree that there is a lot of very thinly veiled antisemitism within AOT’s canon, and no number of screencaps about people saying genocide is bad is going to avoid that—be it titans and blood libel, the ghettos and the armbands, the tacit implication that genocide against the Eladians—despite being morally reprehensible—would be a necessary measure to stop them from destroying humanity, i’m sure you all are at least somewhat familiar with these talking points. This is not a condemnation of AOT’s fans, I certainly don’t think you’re all secret nazis or someshit, I’m just highlighting that there is miles of ground to cover for a critical analysis of AOT for anyone who’s willing to approach it in good faith.
However, as many people have pointed out, a lot of these references are allegorical and/or subtextual in a way that means that the only people who would really pick up on them are either already deeply antisemitic themselves or make a concerted effort to keep track of antisemitic tropes and talking-points. My point is the people who would be best targeted by a propagandistic anime/manga like what AOT is claimed to be won’t pick up the message it’s supposedly trying to spread. To a lot of people it’s just a good story with lots of gory monster killing, a gritty conspiracy and some juicy emotional arcs. And, from their view, the Antis who treat their affection for a story as something morally condemnable are being completely unreasonable; they’re reaching, they hate morally and emotionally complex media, and they’re out to kill everyone’s fun. And, this is a reaction that can be very easily exploited by any remotely fandom-savvy far right recruiter: Antis are snowflakes becomes SJWs are snowflakes, criticisms of the status quo is overly sensitive whiners trying to take away the things you love, the SJWs are thought police, harassing marginalised groups is good and necessary because of The Culture War, and actually all even slightly left-leaning critique of something popular must have been engineered by The Communist Jews Who Wanna Take Over The World, so on and so on. We’ve literally already seen this with gamergate. A Feminist™️ took issue with misogyny in the gaming scene became The Left Wants To Steal Our Video Games and the only way to protect them is by calling Anita Sarkisian the k-slur and sending people death threats—except that time, most people weren’t actually accusing The Average Gamer of being a bad and terrible person for playing WoW. Antis turning criticism of a piece of media into a moral condemnation of anyone who consumes it makes the process of media criticism entirely too personal in a way that plays right into the hands of fascist reddit and 4chan types, and antis should, by all respects, be the types of people to pick up on that faster than most—but they seem to care more about their larping as the Last Bastion Of Morality than actually engaging thoughtfully with media and good faith discussion around it, and i kinda really hate that. I know this is long, but in my defence I dod warn you that I have a Lot Of Opinions on Antis’ reactions to AOT.

TYSK: You´re missing out on a lot
Tumblr media
TYSK, or Things You Should Know, is a bi-weekly post I intend to share about worldwide news. I am that random factoid friend, and I love sharing new information with people because I see information as power. This is my way of attempting to do my part in sharing and participating in the world and whatnot.
🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞🗞
Insight
I recently watched the film American Fiction, I am a fan of everyone involved and am in love with the premise of the film. I did find a bit of disappointment with Tracee Ellis Ross's character's quick intro and exit. There was more to explore with her character and I was deeply disappointed. The film does well at highlighting the interpersonal issues of Black middle-class families. It asks us to be more nuanced about the lives of Black Americans and the different ways we suffer under capitalism/white supremacy. We need to take a moment to be more curious about who is telling our stories and how we can have more of us in the room. Equity is necessary and best when done right.
News
Yemeni and US/UK conflict is suspected to be caused by Yemen´s stance against the genocide of the Palestinian people.
2. Rihanna´s brand SavageX Fenty is reported to have an ethics rating lower than Sheins. Re/Make´s annual ethics report, the Fashion Accountability Report scored it a 4/150. While doing well for diversity, they noted that there was little information about the care for its workers and the earth. Along with her makeup line, there are reports of child labor law violations, volatile work environments, and a history of using oil-based synthetic products.
3. It was recently discovered after the bodies of 3 Black men were found in a Pauper´s grave in Hinds County, that more than 600 other bodies had been buried there since 2008. Since 2016, over 215 bodies have been placed there in unmarked graves. This information surfaced after a mother had been informed that her son had been killed in a hit-and-run by an off-duty officer.

Maya Angelou´s ¨Caged Bird¨
A free bird leaps
on the back of the wind
and floats downstream
till the current ends
and dips his wing
in the orange sun rays
and dares to claim the sky.
But a bird that stalks
down his narrow cage
can seldom see through
his bars of rage
his wings are clipped and
his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing.
The caged bird sings
with a fearful trill
of things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird
sings of freedom.
The free bird thinks of another breeze
and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees
and the fat worms waiting on a dawn bright lawn
and he names the sky his own.
But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams
his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
his wings are clipped and his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing.
The caged bird sings
with a fearful trill
of things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird
sings of freedom.

"Art belongs to no one" is not the same as "art belongs to the people" and is a bootlicker take, sorry. Yes, that post did trigger me because of personal experience I've had with white supremacists editing one of my illustrations to advocate for genocide against the ethnicity I belong to. And I don't need to be told shit like "Are you stupid? Owning your art doesn't prevent that from happening" while I'm spiraling, like I already know that. But when art belongs to no one, I can't even do the bare minimum of saying that I don't want that to happen, that is stripped away from me. The whole I.P. discussion should also be about corporations gatekeeping characters that they didn't create but were created by people they exploited, but apparently small artists are the real enemy now, and not corporations? Was it really about creator's rights or just about consumption all along, because this feels more like "nooo I want to do things with your OCs and strip them away from you" rather than wanting pop culture characters to enter the public domain. And then there were people in favour of "art belongs to no one" who were like "I wonder how people against this take feel about fanart / fanfiction" and I can't even think of a single creator who hates fan works. I also can't think of a single fanartist who wants to be uncredited. Again, you just want to consume, while calling small creators who ask you to not just repost their work uncredited the real pawns of capitalism. I have seen people use that take also as an excuse for the "the artist and the art are separate" bullshit, specifically in regards to Harry Potter. It doesn't work that way, art is always linked to the person who created it. And that person is a product of the environment that shaped them, the time they live in, their culture, their politics. Art belonging to no one will lead to doors opening for cultural appropriation as well. But again, small creators are the real evil here and need to be exploited. A real ally sides with the capitalist machine it seems. Artists are already losing jobs because big corporations replace them with Stable Diffusion prompt typers. I am literally learning how to use Stable Diffusion at art school right now involuntarily and our teacher told us it's "not plagiarism and now different from you relying in memory and reference material". Who the fuck cares about artists? Let's just allow corporations to have more horrific ways to exploit them, let's make it even harder for them to survive in this current capitalist landscape. Let's just replace it all with Midjourney and whatnot. Let's just defend bigots appropriating art. Let's just people to straight up not create anything that would last. My parents always told me art is worthless as it won't bring me any further in life, sometimes tearing drawings apart I made or crumbling them up just to make a point. Perhaps they were right and all that matters is profit.

Octo-fying dumb tweets because it’s funny
!! These are ironic !!
(Tho ngl VA discourse is mega goofy. I miss the days VAing was defined by your talent to voice a character you’re not)
Tumblr media
“Thank you, Average Twitter User, for being such a strong voice for our community. I'm with you 100% #CreatureLivesMatter 🐻‍❄️ 🐱 ✨ 💕 🌿 "
There are so many sh** takes in the comments of this thread. Thank you Average Twitter User for bringing this up.
I'll say it til the day I die: animal characters should be played by animal actors. There's no reason human actors should piggy-back and profit on animal roles while animals struggle to afford their survival in their dwindling habitats, and have projects passed to take their environments away. We are in a middle of a animalia kingdom genocide and all humans do when they take roles like this is help erase us.
If we lived in an ideal world where non-humans could live free of endangerment and oppression, and habitat loss, I'd be fine with any organism playing any part. But we don't live in that world. And until we do, this will NEVER be okay.
Shame on you, Octonauts, for not caring about the creatures you claim to ally for.
(Here's a bonus tweet)
It's THURSDAY, and the most visible transmasc-coded cat character (Kwazii Kitten) in childrens' media is still played by a cis human man (Rob Rackstraw) who has shown no signs of ever stepping down, and CBeebies and others in charge of the Octonauts show did a targeted hate raid (trust me bro...) on cat/animal rights Twitter activists who spoke out against the decision.

Would these types of people people tell us to vote for Biden if Biden killed their relatives? If so, leave them alone. It means that their understanding of Machiavelli is about raison d'etat. Bad things by state power happens to everyone. And in that case it would be hypocritical of them to be worried about Trump, because he'll also operate through raison d'etat, just a slightly different one. It's the reality of their world.
If not, don't back down and tell them to switch green if they don't want Trump in the office. Less bombs, better healthcare, less poor people, less discrimination, better environment. Less genocide, more funding for education. Less police brutality. Less incarceration. Voting green might be small but it will go big.
Don't worry about it staying small if it doesn't work out. It's not your fault. It's on democrats to take the hint and decide that such a threshold of genocide is unacceptable for a decent human being. It's on them for not pressuring their candidate into a policy that's decent by moral standards and also wouldn't isolate the US from the world altogether. You're not being the unreasonable one here, they are.
Read Clausewitz. It's rational to force the hand into the enemy to get them act accordingly with your objectives. If anyone who is trying to appeal to you has no interest in being more than slightly different compared to the other choice to the point that you see no difference to yourself anymore, taking the risk and aiming for a bigger change is the rational strategy.
The ones who don't appeal to your desire for decency are the irrational ones. And the ones who are condoning that behaviour while trying to shame you into complacency. When irrationality loses, it's their fault. Some people will have to take the signals by learning the lesson hard way. It's not that hard to elect a greener candidate in the primaries. Yet they spare all their effort to blame you for caring about people's deaths that are totally avoidable without any consequences.
If you give them a pass, they will stop at nothing. They didn't stop at police brutality. They didn't stop at indigenous land destruction. They didn't stop at immigrant children in cages. They didn't stop at a genocide the whole world spoke against. If you get the blue guy elected, there's nothing he will stop at. If you don't, hopefully the next guy understands that enough is enough.
There's no reasoning with people who don't have any understanding of vicious cycles in repeated games work in game theory. Any talk about logic they will give you might sound convincing but it's just a lip service. And don't take advice from morally bankrupt people who tell you to think small and make a change without going into detail about what can be done. They don't care about your cause, they are just blaming you for not finding anything that might appease to their views. Turning to Clausewitz, anyone who is trying to limit your options at disposal trying to dissuade you knows that it will work. And they are afraid of it. Use everything in your arsenal. Even Machiavelli's Prince has to know his limits. Their fault for not meeting the threshold for the simplest decency.
As a side note, defending people who break the records of moral bankruptcy is a sign for a morally bankrupt person. You're not obligated to listen to entitled selfish people who think their opinion beats yours because theirs is based on a hope for status quo while ignoring the fact that status quo has abandoned you long ago.
I apologise for all the Clausewitz talk because whites only understand when you talk about other whites. Stan Davis, Fanon, Rodney and Baldwin as well as many other anticolonialist thinkers. Read some Ranciere or if you will. You know, the ignorant schoolmaster. A great representation of American liberals who think they are well informed and morally superior that they consider it as their duty to educate "poor people who don't know what's good for them". They should learn about the lesson of the necessity of political compromises in what they call to be democracies the hard way. If you're not going to act democratic and listen to the masses that comprise over the seventy percent of the nation on complying with the international law, don't call yourselves democrats, you know? The tyranny is not even subtle at this point.
When I was in ninth grade I wanted to challenge what I saw as a very stupid dress code policy (not being allowed to wear spikes regardless of the size or sharpness of the spikes). My dad said to me, “What is your objective?”
He said it over and over. I contemplated that. I wanted to change an unfair dress code. What did I stand to gain? What did I stand to lose? If what I really wanted was to change the dress code, what would be my most effective potential approach? (He also gave me Discourses on the Fall of Rome by Titus Livius, Machiavelli’s magnum opus. Of course he’d already given me The Prince, Five Rings, and The Art of War.)
I ultimately printed out that phrase, coated it in Mod Podge, and clipped it to my bathroom mirror so I would look at it and think about it every day.
What is your objective?
Forget about how you feel. Ask yourself, what do you want to see happen? And then ask, how can you make it happen? Who needs to agree with you? Who has the power to implement this change? What are the points where you have leverage over them? If you use that leverage now, will you impair your ability to use it in the future? Getting what you want is about effectiveness. It is not about being an alpha or a sigma or whatever other bullshit the men’s right whiners are on about now. You won’t find any MRA talking points in Musashi, because they are not relevant.
I had no clear leverage on the dress code issue. My parents were not on the PTA; neither were any of my friend’s parents who liked me. The teachers did not care about this. Ultimately I just wore what I wanted, my patent leather collar from Hot Topic with large but flattened spikes, and I had guessed correctly—the teachers also did not care enough to discipline me.
I often see people on tumblr, mostly the very young, flail around in discourse. They don’t have an objective. They don’t know what they want to achieve, and they have never thought about strategizing and interpersonal effectiveness. No one can get everything they want by being an asshole. You must be able to work with other people, and that includes smiling when you hate them.
Read Machiavelli. Start with The Prince, but then move on to Discourses. Read Musashi’s Five Rings. Read The Art of War. They’re classics for a reason. They can’t cover all situations, but they can do more for how you think about strategizing than anything you’re getting in middle school and high school curricula.
Don’t vote third party unless you can tell me not only what your objective is but also why this action stands a meaningful chance of accomplishing it. Otherwise, back up and approach your strategy from a new angle. I don’t care how angry you are with Biden right now. He knows about it, and he is both trying to do something and not doing enough. I care about what will happen to millions of people if we have another Trump presidency. Look up Ross Perot, and learn from our past. Find your objective. If it is to stop the genocide in Palestine now, call your elected representatives now. They don’t care about emails; they care about phone calls, because they live in the past. I know this because I shadowed a lobbyist, because knowing how power works is critical to using it.
How do you think I have gotten two clinics to start including gender care in their planning?
Start small. Chip away. Keep working. Find your leverage; figure out how and when to effectively use it. Choose your battles, so that you can concentrate on the battle at hand instead of wasting your resources in many directions. Learn from the accumulated wisdom of people who spent their lives learning by doing, by making mistakes, by watching the mistakes of their enemies.
Don’t be a dickhead. Be smarter than I was at 14. Ask yourself: what is your objective?

I support Palestine and Palestinian liberation for MANY more reasons than just the ecological impact of Israel's occupation but there's a specific dread that I've been feeling lately whenever I hear all those "help the environment by recycling your plastics!" type of messages. Not that those messages really meant anything before when no matter how much you separate trash and try to recycle the supposedly green companies and governments that ask you to do it will then just send it all to the global south for them to deal with (as a strategy to both shift the blame to the customers and to be able to appear as green friendly to the public) but it feels so specially absurd to be asked to recycle and to be told that it's on regular people like me to fix this issue when in the span of less than a year there is a single country that has (so far) dropped an amount of explosives so huge that it is equivalent of 6 of the bombs that were used in Hiroshima/Nagasaki all because they wanted to colonize and ethnically cleanse a country.
There is a lot of emphasis in climate change infographics and "educational" content on the amount of waste a single person produces throughout their life but I could live a thousand times over and it still wouldn't amount to even the smallest fraction of what these CEOs and world leaders are doing and I'm so tired of everyone acting like it does while they ignore them and the atrocities they are commiting.
And while I think everyone should support Palestine just because it's the right thing to do because they are the ones who are undergoing a genocide and not because of selfish reasons I think there's some people who still don't realize that this will impact literally everyone. I don't understand how people who say they care about climate change but who are apolitical/say both sides are in the wrong/are on the fence about this "conflict" haven't realized that they literally can't be against climate change and not support Palestinian liberation at the same time.
