I imagine that if the rest of the Chain (*cough cough Time*) was present, the entire ordeal would get shut down very quickly, so let's let Wind and Wild have some fun for now 😂

Something something Johnny ends up dating, marrying, and starting a family with an American.

Their baby just had her first birthday and you had gone back home so your parents could see her.

It was the beginning of July and the firework stands were on almost every empty parking lot corner and dirt field around town.

You’d already had to cap Johnny out on buying any more. Your bank account was several hundred dollars lighter after your dad made the comment about how you didn’t really have firework restrictions here. It was pretty much a free for all when it came to how big the explosions were, just as long as you took it outside of city limits.

That day he dragged you to half of the booths in the city, baby girl happy as a clam in her stroller. Her eyes lit up at all the pretty colors on the boxes, the shiny wrappers, the way things would rattle as they were moved around.

You tried to set your foot down when Johnny started buying her fireworks of her own. Unfortunately the dual impact of two sets of MacTavish blue puppy dog eyes was too much to bear and you conceded to sparklers and poppers.

Baby girl didn’t have any idea what she was getting but seeing her da happy made her ecstatic. Chubby cheeks grinning up at you both, she babbled and shrieked in joy.

When you finally managed to get everything back to the house you all headed outside as the sun was beginning to set.

Johnny reached over and handed baby a popper, alright now sweet girl, yer gonna throw this, aye? Toss it as hard as ye can, right on ta the ground

He helped her throw the first one, you both watching her expression as it hit the ground with a sharp POP! and the smallest puff of smoke.

She jerked in surprise before comprehension dawned in her eyes. Turning to her da she demanded more! while holding her hand out expectantly.

He grins as he places another popper in her fist and she immediately throws it towards the ground as hard as she can. She lets out a squealing laugh as it explodes.

You turn to your husband how did I not realize our children are going to be just as enamored with explosions as you? he just beams at you while handing your daughter another popper.

They just let poor Touya bound and in pain, no doubt drugged out of his mind and unable to talk for more than a few short sentences... Left there, slowly dying... Losing the will to live.

I get it, both Overhaul and Dabi are Villains.

Villains don't deserve happy endings and need to pay for their crimes. Murderers. A child abuser. An arsonist.

Two men fallen into the cracks of the forgotten and lost, forcing themselves to pick themselves back up by themselves. Fixing the pieces themselves, shoving the chipped, broken and fragile jumbled remains back and kept moving forward.

That's it. Heroes win, bad guys thrown in jail, here a cameo, bye. -_-

They could have worked something out with Pops and Aizawa to save Touya, but no...

Could have shoved a quirk restraining collar on Kai or blind folded him, handcuffs him and surrounding by armed guards. Both Pops and Aizawa present as Eri have Kai back his arms and retreated.

If Kai agreeded to slowly helped to rebuild buildings, saved lives to help Recovery Girl under her apprentice ship, and healed Touya at Endeavors request.. Touya could have lived.

Kai would be forced to do community service with the rest of the eight bullets.

Yes, it's hella crazy and unrealistic, wishful thinking on my part...

Yes, Kai got what he deserved. (Okay, I lied, he doesn't deserve it, dammit! I'll die on that hill that Kai deserves a redemption arc just as bad as Shiggy and Touya! Fuck, Karma! I wanna see my birdman happy!)

I feel like you'd enjoy this thought (mostly cause I'm using this in Death Doesn't Want Me)

Soap paints places he sees while working for his family. Never explains why he was there, obviously, but he paints the beautiful countrysides and hustling city streets he sees while abroad. Usually these are places with meaning or places that impacted him or places that he remembers the best.

Sometimes he has to take creative liberties to hide certain facts. And he always frames them and gives them to his Mum to put up in their old childhood home so everyone can see them when they're together for the holidays. On the frames, it's always the name of the place

There's actually a couple for Las Almas.

One is a dark navy ocean/sky interrupted by a gorgeous orange sunset.

Except Ghost can't possibly recall where or when Soap would have seen this during their time in Las Almas.

But then he remembers.

The "sunset" is the oil rig explosion

And Ghost falls just a bit more in love with his little Scottish weirdo
