Be careful when you buy toys! Look at the materials that it’s made out of especially if you plan to use it for internal play! A toy made of a low quality material can pick up germs and bacteria and cause infections even if you clean them.

Materials to avoid are:

Thermoplastic Rubber & Elastomer (TPE/TPR) (I don’t care if it’s 7 bucks, don’t do it!)

Rubber (if you are allergic)

Jelly Rubber

Natural porous materials

Low-grade versions of quality materials, (glass, metal, and silicone)

Personally, I usually don’t suggest glass at all because if it drops and chips, you do not want to deal with small pieces of glass inside of you

When buying a toy, make sure it’s made out of a safe material. I usually suggest medical grade silicone (as long as you’re not using silicone based lube). If you have to use glass, try to find a borosilicate one. Also stainless steel tends to be fine too! If you’re not sure what it’s made out of, use a condom just to be safe! Hell even if the toy is made of a good material, use a condom anyway!

Try to buy toys from a trusted manufacturer. It may cost a pretty penny but that’s the price you pay for quality!

EVENT 01. PART 1: THE ODYSSEY

Where it all begins...

You’re not sure what wakes you up, or why. But you awake somehow, somewhere. Your senses come alive with sounds, smells, sights you don’t recognize. And you may realize: this is a cruise ship. But you weren’t on a cruise ship, moments before. And horrifyingly, this cruise ship is pitched dangerously towards its starboard side. You’ve got to leave the ship, but how? You discover it’s been shipwrecked off the coast of land - a rocky reef below, azure blue waves lapping lazily on a sandy shore that stretches out. Beyond that, trees and pathways - paved pathways, curiously enough. From the vantage point on the ship, the paths lead inland, to what looks like buildings. Civilization! Whatever you had with you, is still on you - be it a purse, phone, clothing, whatever. But there’s one strange thing attached to your wrist, that you’ve never seen before: a white-strap bracelet, with an odd coloured stone embedded in it. You can remove the bracelet if you choose, but some instinct tells you not to throw it away. Other than that, you feel completely normal. And it seems, you’re not alone. Then, loudspeakers on tall poles (and are those CCTV cameras as well?) blast across the beach, and that’s when you hear the bland muzak and an even blander, cheerful voice over it:  WELCOME TO PARADISE. D̵̛͕͚̘̹̓̓̿̐Ơ̵̢̦̄͒ ̸̼̊Ņ̶̖̰͙̈́̈̂͆̌O̶̪̤̻̦̍T̸͔͕̟͉̬͗̓͑͝ ̵̢̟̤̗̎̌̊̚͠B̷̢̺͇̾͑̈́E̶̜̞̤̹͍̕ ̴͉̗̞̍̽̕A̷̻̣͓̰̥͊̀F̵͔̺̩͋̀̅̾͝R̶͓̍̕͠A̷̹̭̹̰͠Ḯ̷̡̧̯͔̣́D̶͚̞̎!! (do not be afraid!) Welcome to the island!  This is the first of 3 drops within this inaugural event!  Challenges for your character::

Everyone wakes up on the Odyssey cruise ship.  How your character wakes up is up to you, as well as where on the ship: an outer deck, the dining hall, the engine room, a cabin - your choice!

Whatever items that your character had with them from the outside world (clothing, accessories, bags, etc), has come with them.

Phones still work, but currently there is no data or service to the outside world. Strangely though, if characters trade phone numbers with other island denizens, and calling/texting them does work.

Trying to disembark from the slanted ship is dangerous and tricky, but there are ways to get to shore.

The buildings in the distance that one can see from the ship/shore are the yellow bungalows, a bit of the Hub (currently empty of furniture, mostly just a dock with some outdoor kitchen-type countertops), a glimpse of the warehouse and medicentre.

The loudspeakers & CCTV cameras are affixed to tall, thin metal poles, interspersed around the land. More details on that later!

NOTE: your characters powers do not work yet, but the bracelet's crystal is yours to customize (colour, shape etc).  The bracelet ‘watchband’ is the same for everyone: a pure white, rubbery elastomer material like a fitbit watch. [See image example below.]

Meeting other characters on the ship is the start of interactions in the game, have fun!
