Hahaha, the view is also is due to the kind of exposure they have been cultivated with! =') The narrow view of what they actually have been exposed to rather than the full picture! (Because I think they had people treating them badly ever since they were instated into their position. Heck! At their beginning point they could have been a lot different personality wise, but time and experience lead them to shut down more caring attributes.) They never got the chance to have that wider viewpoint or to see humans living in harmony with robots. A lot of the people they interacted with weren't good people. ='o

Like growing up in a toxic family, that's... all you know. ^^; ) If years of experience tells you that you are treated like dirt and people don't care about your feelings, only results. . . that screws people up. A lot. . .

To be honest, I think seeing those things would be really good for them. Knowing that the things they have witnessed with wars and planet posioning and uncaring folks... is a fraction not an entirity. There are good people out there, and there are people who support and care and want the world to be better and more understanding and loving.

It may even give them a glimmer of hope for the future. ^^

wow...... MANY artists take requests randomly. this isn't the original anon, I just saw your post&was blown away by how rude it was. this anon wasn't even rude. artists are always putting out informationals with like guides on how to speak to them&it's the so egotistical&rude&controlling. I literally won't commission random artists anymore&only my close friends bc of these rules that change artist to artist&don't apply to everyone. anon asked you a simple question&was extremely nice about it&you chose to be an asshole in response. y'all act like you're training rabid dogs or something. just, say no, don't answer, or block the anon. like I can't figure out what ticked you off so much about that. talking to ppl like shit won't help them. it will just make people afraid to speak to you at all. anyways lol you're losing a follower&a fan. maybe let your anger out at the gym or something before you take it out on someone asking an innocent question. they truly probably thought "the worst they could say is no" &you proved them wrong. exactly the reason I no longer commission art from artists who aren't my close friends. my anxiety is too high to deal with the anger&your need to control how other people talk to you(even when it's not mean&they're just asking an innocent question).

Mate, I said "no hard feelings just letting you know this ask came across as rude" after we had a bit of a giggle about how funny it is that they hadn't stumbled upon the specific kind of fanart they wanted to see when IMO it's extremely common in the fandom, and then pointed them to another artist who had already drawn what they wanted to see.

"Don't ask/hint at artists to draw you things for free" is not being rude or demanding or egotistical, it's just a firm boundary. It's not a minefield to navigate, and artists who accept random requests usually say so somewhere in their bio/about. I also think blocking the poor anon would've been way more harsh and unnecessary than letting them know how their behaviour was perceived, cuz if they keep doing it, some other artist is going to be way meaner about it.

If you tried to get Metal Sonic to come up with a plan to destroy Sonic more complex than "chase after him and slice him with my claws" or "imitate one of my dad's world-conquering plans", he'd have a difficult time of it. This robot has the tactics of any combat situation down pat but couldn't do big-picture strategy to save his life.

To be fair, it's a very rare occasion that he's been able to exercise any strategic thinking instead of simply following orders.

Glad to see you like it! I actually just edited the files to try and fix the scaling issues and it seems to work. The fixes are just moving 1 hair pixel for every sprite and moving 1 sprite to the right and it worked for me at least. The drop box has been updated as well (I think) to have it. Oh and I also changed the yaml file so chara is in their own section instead of examples.

i do love canon amy & rory but god, does some part of me wish they really had gone with the idea of the doctor picking up a child as a companion (and then later, that child’s best friend with a huge crush on her.) with the rest of the season really not changing at all, except now it’s amelia pond with an angel in her head killing her and lost alone in the woods. it’s little rory who dies and is forgotten and becomes a toy soldier. if this is going to be a fairy tale, then let it be one. children have never been safe in fairy tales.
