The Tale of Napoleon Gerard, AKA Nips Garhunter

I'm currently playing in a Curse of Strahd campaign in which every single player, independently, decided: "you know what would be amazing is if I brought a really stupid character for this horror  campaign," and that's how we ended up with a party of absolute idiots. It kind of makes things worse when stuff goes south...

Nips is just a big, sweet, dumb boy who speaks with a strong Southern Belle accent. He's very polite and friendly and just wants everyone to get along. His backstory is that he was mostly raised by his gramma, Betty--inspired by my own grandmother as a way to memorialize her.

Betty's daughter (Nips' mother) was a bit of a rebel and ended up becoming a mistress of the duke of their province, a tyrant named Duke Gerard. She fell pregnant with Nips and died in childbirth with him. The duke tried to take Nips from Betty, but she absolutely refused and visited the ducal palace every single day. Nips was such a handful and so stubborn with every nursemaid except for Betty that the duke finally gave up and allowed her to raise Nips as long as he lived in the palace the majority of the time.

The ducal family had a legitimate son after a few years, though, and Nips was ignored in many ways because of this. He spent his childhood running away to his gramma's house and baking bread and peach jam with her. When his younger brother reached inheriting age, however, the duke sent Nips away. He became a bit of a hero in a quiet fishing village for saving their waters from an overpopulation of gar, thus his assumed surname "Garhunter." "Nips" isn't what he was called growing up either--his grandmother called him "Leon."

He's worried about his grandmother and tries to sneak back to see her whenever he can.

In my current campaign, he's stuck in Barovia and wants nothing more than to get back to his gramma. I'm playing him as a paladin with a homebrew oath--the Oath of Family. His "spells" often involve him whipping up homecooked meals and his "holy symbol" is the sun hat his gramma gave him.

It's been a pretty rough campaign, though. Nips is very homesick.

He has grown to VERY MUCH dislike Strahd for both personal and general reasons--all I'll say is that our party adopted Vasili as our favorite NPC and brought him everywhere with us. Sooo when the party was invited to dinner at Strahd's mansion, Nips showed up in his full ducal regalia in order to try and show Strahd that he refuses to be cowed.

That patch on his chest is the Gerard family's symbol, a spear in an open field. The family specializes in spearfighting; thus Nips' proficiency with the spear for fishing.

It's been hard for Nips to face Strahd because Strahd reminds him of his own father; a tyrant. In a way, living in the fishing village gave Nips a way to avoid facing the damage his father has done and avoiding the responsibility ingrained in him since birth of protecting the people of the dukedom. The moral quandaries in Curse of Strahd are difficult for him. It's distressing to him when he can't help everyone. A part of his spirit is becoming bitter and hard.

Not to mention that our time at Strahd's castle didn't go well...

Summary

After a battle with Magneto, the X-men and mutants are accidentally revealed to the world. As the humans try to come to terms with this revelation, some want to make sure the mutants know they’re not welcome.

Neighbors begin to turn on each other and one seemingly human girl, Morana Cain, is caught in the crossfire.

When her life is turned upside down, something starts happening to her. She keeps waking up in random places with no memory of how she got there.

Meanwhile the X-men try and track down a mutant who seems to be methodically taking out humans who express anti-mutant sentiments.

Facts about: Bendy

He accidentally called Felix "Father/Dad" and was embarrassed for a while.

Anytime Bendy drinks, he gets people's names mixed up.

Bendy has the ability to hotwire a vehicle. Don't ask how he knows he just does. :]

He used to have a crush on Ortensia as a kid.

Bendy loves playing beer pong with the questers and circus crew. (And if they have Boris or Mickey, they use Soda instead) :)

Hates the taste of Cherries. (He accidentally ate a cherry with a pit inside of it when he was 6, and he since hasn't eaten a cherry)

Bendy has once eaten a 20-ounce bacon soup. The aftermath was not pretty but did not regret it in the slightest.

Facts about: Boris

Boris only eats meat. He doesn't really eat veggies, but anytime him and Bendy are at Mickey's place, he eats them since Mickey makes them with some seasoning.

He stress-chews when he's really nervous.

Boris has tunnel vision, so he has a great depth perspective.

Likes making handmade bracelets for his crew and for the circus crew.

Enjoys making food with Felix and Mugman.

Doesn't like hugs or kisses. The only expect is Bendy and Mickey. He'll happily take a hug from them.

He loves bitter food and sweet food.

Facts about: Mickey

Mickey is very protective over Bendy & Boris, despite knowing them less than a year.

Mickey has been seen smoking when he is under extreme pressure on a big day for his circus show. Slowly, Mark has been trying to wean Mickey off of the cigarettes.

He still gets teased by Sheba, and ever since him and Mark have been a thing, he gets teased even more by Sheba.

He has very sensitive hearing due to his big semi-circle ears.

Anytime Oswald is sick, Mickey is always at his side: making him soup, comforting, and making sure the bunnies are being taken care of when Oswald is out of commission.

He's very sensitive about himself, and he struggles to love himself, but he has friends and family that well support and love him.

Facts about: Oswald

He feels like he can't trust many people due to past relationships, but he's trying to work on it.

Him and Felix go on dates from time to time. He has Mickey and Mark babysit all the little bunnies.

He tries to make sure anyone who is staying with them is okay. He's in a parent mood a lot.

Oswald doesn't like physical love, but he lets Felix and the bunnies give affection.

He still keeps in contact with Fanny, and she lets him vent to her when he's stressed out.

After Walt kicked Oswald out, he got back inside and took Mickey with him to start a new life, and this was when Oswald was around 3 and Mickey was 1. They both lived with Scrooge McDuck for a while.

Facts about: Mark

He accidentally twisted his wrist once while working, and Mickey scolded him for letting himself get injured.

Mark is based on an American Shorthair cat :)

He doesn't respond to catnip surprisingly.

Mark's first language is Portuguese. He can simply switch between Portuguese and English.

According to Mickey, Mark is very affectionate with hugs :)

Mark's full name is: Marquinhos Izuri Aser, his legal name is: Mark Izuri Asher.

Facts about: Fanny

Has paid off her nursing loan thanks to Dovil.

She slays with mostly any outfit. Her favorite color to wear is Seaform Green & Deep Lilac.

Fanny has gotten multiple promotions as a nurse is earning over $650 per week. She's got the money >:)

Her name "Francine" comes from her grandmother, Fanny is only a nickname, her folks Gabe her.

She's surprisingly still sweet to Oswald after their breakup. She does talk with Mickey, and they both try and talk about their interests in life.

She felt bad for Oswald after hearing about what had happened to Ortensia, she wanted to talk to him but she felt like she would only bother him.

Fanny in (Reborn AU) hasn't met Brute, and she's happy being single. She has caught an eye for Cuphead. 👀

Good evening! I saw the post you made and was wondering if you got the obey me brothers with an Izuru Kamukura like mc? Where reader is with Junko and planning to led the world in despair not knowing it's messing up the exchange program, having ultimates up in the human world as Izuri kamukura posses all the talents from being experimented on?

Unless it was sent before December, I did not get it… So here it is!

Gender-neutral reader, described as beautiful. Reader is not yet in the Devildom, and you’ll see why.

Lucifer

He was sent to deal with it as it went against Lord Diavolo’s wish to unite the three realms. So, he went under the veil of the night so that no one would catch him. He entered the school using his magic, and eventually found you and Junko plotting to lead the world in despair.

You, with your ability to predict things with surprising accuracy, did not predict this happening. You were actually quite excited about not foreseeing this, which Junko definitely did not expect considering you were usually emotionless.

It was a fairly easy battle, even though you were experimented on and had a bunch of talents. You tried going up against Lucifer Morningstar… with talents. No wonder you lost sorely. So, as payback, he had a deal to offer you that sounded quite enticing. You would come to the Devildom, a realm full of unpredictability, as the human exchange student. It was truly a dream come true for you, so you accepted the hand that he held out to you, and you were pulled into his chest as he flew you both to the portal between the Human Realm and the Devildom.

Mammon

He was sent to put an end to your little plan as punishment for all the bills that were sent to Lucifer, and he thought it totally wasn��t fair. He used his magic to enter the school, and after being disturbed at how much the school changed once he entered, he eventually walked in on Junko convincing you to turn to despair.

You, for once in your life, smiled because you hadn’t predicted a demon walking into the school. Junko was surprised at you being surprised, but also being surprised at the same thing you were surprised by. A bunch of surprised faces.

Again, quick battle. He wasn’t one of the Avatars of Sin for nothing, after all. Once the fighting was over, he (told) asked if you wanted to come to the Devildom with him as a human exchange student. Mans should have gone into sales because the way he advertised it was super appealing. A world full of shocks and wonders… maybe that isn’t so bad. Once you accepted, he hoisted you over his shoulder and started making his way to the portal.

Leviathan

When Lucifer told the rest of his brothers that there was a problem in the human realm that needed to be resolved and gave details about it, Levi volunteered because there might be a need for Hell’s Navy or Lotan (but also because this scenario reminded him of the game I Got Accepted into this Famous School on Sheer Luck, But It Has Its Dark Secrets.)

When he stumbled upon you and Junko, you smiled because you didn’t see this coming at all. Levi had to admit, you were very attractive. However, this was no time to be falling in love or catching feelings or anything like that. He had a mission.

A mission that he completed within 5 minutes, without summoning back-up. It was pitiful, the way you put your all into the fight only to be beaten in such a short amount of time. As he stood above you, he held his hand out to you and asked if you would come back to the Devildom with him as a human exchange student, and he blushed when you placed your hand into his.

Satan

He was sent because he already knew a lot about the school because he did extensive amounts of research about it. So, obviously, he was the one chosen to do it. He wasn’t surprised, since he believed that his brothers were too incompetent to complete the task.

When he walked in on Junko convincing you to turn to despair, Satan was glad to have gotten there when he did. You turned and looked at him in surprise, meaning that you hadn’t predicted his arrival. That gave him the element of surprise.

It didn’t take too long, since the power of Wrath overpowers any talent that you may have. Sometimes anger can win, and this was one such example. However, as he pinned you to the ground, he got to take in your beauty. He stood up and held his hand out to you, telling you that if you were to accept his hand, you were agreeing you go with him to the Devildom

Asmodeus

He honestly didn’t know why he was sent. It might be because he could use his charm to deescalate the situation without it getting violent, which made sense considering causing too much chaos would put a wrench in Diavolo’s plans to unite the three realms.

You were surprised to see him in the doorway as you and Junko were planning hope’s demise, but what you most definitely didn’t expect was your companion falling for his power. Asmo was really glad that he didn’t put on makeup or acrylics ‘cause he’s gonna fight.

Mans took a little bit since it has been a while, but in about 5 minutes you were down on the ground and gasping for air. Asmo most definitely made a few raunchy jokes, but you just fought without any remarks. Anyways, he totally fell in love with you during the battle somehow (to be fair, he fell in love with us the moment he realized we weren’t affected by his charm). So, he told you about how he would absolutely love it if you came back with him to Devildom, and you accepted his offer. He was overjoyed, to say the least.

Beelzebub

He figured that the reason he was sent to deal with you was because he was the only one probably able to beat you with just his physical strength, but he did have access to his magic if it was necessary. He was pretty confident, though. 

Mans did not hesitate to attack once he located you and Junko inside of the school. He used his Fangol training to tackle you to the ground and stop the plotting. Unfortunately, you used your talents, which provoked him into using his magic to subdue you.

It was fairly easy for him, but as he pinned you to the ground he got an actual good look at you, which caused him to hesitate. This man fell for you hard. Since you were kinda knocked unconscious, he picked you up and brought you back to the Devildom, which in turn started a whole chain of events that we are all familiar with.

Belphegor

Like Asmo, he was sent because everyone thought that he would be able to deescalate the situation without it getting violent. Mans could make you pass out, so he wasn’t too worried. What he didn’t like was that he actually had to go rather than sleep.

He was already grumpy by the time he finally discovered where you and Junko were, so mans just quietly leapt at you and placed his hand on your forehead, making you fall asleep. You were important according to Lucifer, so he decided to let you live. Junko wasn’t as lucky.

Anyways, you woke up in the Devildom, and he gave you the rundown of what was going on, which was where he actually got to see you. He trailed off mid-sentence, occupied with admiring you and the interested look you had on.
