So what I'm wondering is if the Fall is going to be "You are free to go" writ large, with violence.

Basically, the Fall as Heaven being unwilling to accept any questioning and choosing to kick its people out instead of reasoning with them.

That also works in a metaphorical sense if you want to change the celestial order of things. If Aziraphale and Crowley are an eventual microcosm of Heaven and Hell, then their reconciliation of their philosophical differences could lead straight to the reconciliation of Heaven and Hell.

Obviously, if you're going to draw these massive parallels and then imply that things are different this time around, you need to demonstrate the differences, too. Like, OK, Heaven split into Heaven and Hell during the first Great War, so what's different this time? Why is reconciliation possible now?

And I think the difference is gonna come down to love. Specifically: messy, unhierarchical, free-will human-style love. Did humans "invent" it per se? Probably not; it seems like all beings are capable of feeling affection and concern for each other on equal terms. But it's a way of life here on Earth, and it survives here on Earth in a way that it simply could not in Heaven or Hell. This counts close friendships and familial relationships, too!

There will be other differences, too: Aziraphale, possibly Heaven's symbol, will have to learn to listen, REALLY listen, to Crowley, and everyone he considers "beneath" him in the hierarchy, and will have to learn to accept criticism and disagreement instead of stonewalling it.

BUT. I think his motivation for learning these things is going to be love. Love as the catalyst.

People say "love isn't enough" a lot about S2E6, and in one sense, that's absolutely true. Mere strength of emotion wasn't enough to keep them together at the end of Season 2. But maybe the point of love isn't always to stay together. Maybe love is a success in some way when it makes you grow or teaches you something or pushes your story forward. Maybe it's a kind of success if you're making a big decision and you remember your love for someone and how it's changed things. I'm literally desperate for Aziraphale and Crowley to end up together, and I think they will. But the time they're apart is a part of their relationship, too. Love isn't any more black and white than good and evil are; just because it doesn't always work as glue doesn't mean it isn't working in some other way.

I was gonna write an essay months and months ago on why I personally didn’t feel like I needed chapter 2 of 8:11 because I feel there’s enough in the story to hint at what happened prior to the game and where the game is going and that a completely open ended story was kind of cool and that it would be fine if dubuk felt he no longer needed to continue it for whatever reason. And I didn’t bother finishing it because it felt contrarian and pretentious as hell, and now that dubuk has actually made a statement on not finishing it, it just feels . Weird i guess.

I'm gonna sound very old person yells at cloud but I don't care, I feel like I need to say this. We all (well most of us) know that messaging Neil with any headcanons/theories/wishes/hopes/dreams to do with the show is a no-go because it could potentially compromise the story he wants to tell or ends up telling. And yes, he is a grown up who chooses what to respond to etc and I think it's wonderful he engages with fans and answers a lot of lovely and interesting questions about his process, writing and journey etc.

However, there is another reason not to send theories and ideas about how the show should go to the show creator in the hope of a response: it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter whether a theory is correct, or a speculation may or may not play out. That is why fandom exists.

Online fandom is where we all come together to yell and cry and throw around weird-ass ideas and theories and look at art and read fanfic and unite in our love of characters and a show. A huge part of being in fandom, is the way fandom theories become like an understood little bit of fanon lore that some people attach to, others disregard. But it doesn't matter. And part of the fun of fandom, is when a new season or a new episode of the show comes out, you have this collective catalogue of ideas and theories and headcanons and you get to yell and scream, "omg it happened1" or "lol that that thing was ever talked about" or "thank god that theory didn't come to pass".

Wanting to know now (not that we ever will) and not wanting to wait until the next season to find out the answers diminishes the fandom experience. I cannot stress enough how much we are in the absolute peak of the fandom experience right now. The between seasons time is the ultimate time to be a part of a fandom (as I'm sure many people are well aware), knowing there's another season coming energises everyone to create and connect and speculate and it's glorious! I know it feels like it'll be like this forever, but it won't. Next season is the last and yes, there will be a flurry and uptick of all the energy and excitement once again, and I absolutely believe Good Omens fandom will live on and remain active and thrumming. But there won't be theories and what ifs and hunting for clues for the next season, and over time it will dwindle a little and plateau and some people will fall into other fandoms, and while it will probably bubble away, there won't be the anticipation that sits with us now.

My point is, fandom is where we get to throw around ideas and flail and be ridiculous and also serious sometimes, but it's all for us. For the fans. Showing Neil theories or getting in a flap about a particular speculation and asking if x, y, or z might happen isn't just about putting the creator in an awkward spot, it takes away what fandom is about. Just let this time be ours. If you haven't been in fandom before, enjoy it! Don't be in a hurry to seek definitive answers or know things either way.

It doesn't matter if any or none or all of the things that float around end up being correct or incorrect. Fandom isn't about being right. It's about being a part of a community and being able to share ideas and it's about it being FUN.

So TL;DR Stop sending Neil fan ideas because that is for fandom, not for the creator.

Sorry it took me almost forever to get to your ask. I’ve had a crazy couple of weeks lol.

I promised to discuss a few V Lives, either featuring Jikook or all the members together, that I found significant. Let’s begin with the most intriguing one, Jungkook’s New Jersey V Live from May 2019.

Before diving into the specifics of this Live, I’d like to point out an issue that many shippers, particularly Taekookers in this case, tend to have: they rarely consider the full context of moments, both before and after, and instead focus on fragments that suit their narrative. A reasonable person watching this Live along with the preceding one would not categorize it as a Taekook Live. To me, this V Live is one of the most defining moments that highlights the nature of Jimin and Jungkook’s bond. Below, I’ll elaborate on why I believe this, using tangible evidence that connects the dots effortlessly, rather than baseless speculations like “voices in the background,” imaginary snores, or random household sounds with no supporting proof.

Understanding the full context is key, so let’s start with Jin’s Live, which took place earlier that day.

JIN’S VLIVE

The Live begins with Jin sitting alone in his hotel room, eating and chatting with ARMY. Around the 10:00, Jimin rings the doorbell. Jin answers, and Jimin enters wearing a plain white t-shirt and black pants while carrying food. This detail will become relevant later.

Jimin sits down and starts eating with Jin while chatting. At approximately 13:35 minute mark, Jimin mentions that he planned to quietly sit on the side, watch Jin’s Live, and leave, a detail that will also matter later.

Around the 18:00 minute mark, they discuss their hotel room sizes. Jin mentioned that he heard Jimin’s room is bigger than his, to which Jimin replies that the rooms are similar in structure but adds that Jungkook’s room is the biggest. This, too, will be important later.

At 30:30, Jin wipes his sweat, jokingly asks if Jimin likes the shirt he’s wearing, and then wipes his hand on Jimin’s shirt. Jimin laughs and says, “This is why I don’t wear my own clothes when I visit Jin’s room.” This playful interaction will also tie into later events.

The Live continues with lighthearted eating and chatting until the doorbell rings. Both Jin and Jimin laugh mischievously before abruptly ending the broadcast, leaving fans wondering who was at the door.

Shortly after, Jungkook starts his own V Live. Before diving into it, it’s worth mentioning that Jimin posted a video on Twitter confirming that it was Jungkook who rang the doorbell. He was upset (though not seriously) that Jin and Jimin ended their Live before he could join, which prompted him to start his own.

In the opening seconds of Jungkook’s Live, around 17 seconds in, we can hear what sounds like a cough or sigh before Jungkook pans the camera, revealing Jimin seated on the bed. It’s important to note that Jungkook started the Live with Jimin out of view, and had Jimin not made a sound, we might never have known he was in the room.

This connects to Jimin’s earlier comment in Jin’s Live about quietly sitting in the background. The one mentioned above. It suggests that Jimin has likely done this on multiple occasions, sitting silently in members’ rooms during Lives without fans noticing. This isn’t mere speculation…it’s behavior Jimin himself has confirmed. Therefore, it’s not far-fetched to think that during past Jungkook Lives where fans speculated about sounds or movements, it could very well have been Jimin quietly present in the room.

During Jungkook’s Live, it’s evident that he’s lightly annoyed at Jimin and Jin for ending their Live before he arrived. Jimin tries to apologize, but there’s a noticeable tension in the room, especially when Jimin leans closer to Jungkook around the 53-second mark. Jungkook’s unease becomes apparent as he starts fidgeting—touching things, adjusting lights, licking his lips, scratching his nose (though clearly without an itch), and avoiding eye contact with Jimin.

This kind of nervous energy doesn’t align with the dynamic of simple friendship, in my opinion. Around 1:25, there’s an awkwardly charged moment where Jungkook appears to peek into Jimin’s shirt. Jimin notices and immediately begins rubbing his chest while saying something only the two of them seem to understand. The interaction feels intimate and loaded with subtext.

Jungkook’s uneasiness isn’t the kind you’d associate with discomfort or dislike; it’s the other kind…..you know, the kind that carries undertones of something more. Iykyk.

Side Note: One of the things that stands out to me about this Live is how Jungkook can’t seem to look Jimin in the eye throughout most of it.

Jungkook brings up his frustration again about Jimin and Jin turning off the Live before he could join, prompting Jimin to apologize and tell Jungkook he loves him while cupping his chin. Although Jungkook still appears annoyed (albeit playfully), Jimin says that since he has apologized, he’ll leave. Jungkook responds immediately with an “okay.” However, pay close attention to Jungkook’s body language as Jimin starts to leave. He doesn’t take his eyes off Jimin, stares intensely, and even begins making plans on when to see him the next day, almost forgetting he’s still Live lol.

At 12:14, Jimin reappears in the frame, heading toward the couch at the back to retrieve a piece of clothing. Let’s revisit a point I mentioned earlier…Jimin’s outfit when he visited Jin. He arrived wearing only a t-shirt and black pants, with no hoodie or sweater. We also know he didn’t have any extra clothing on him when he entered Jin’s room because his hands were full with food. So, where did this piece of clothing in Jungkook’s room come from? When exactly did he leave it there because it certainly wasn’t after he left Jin’s room and followed Jungkook to his.

Jungkook mentioned earlier in his Live that he’d been working out before heading to Jin and Jimin’s Live. This implies that Jimin must have left the clothing in Jungkook’s room before going to Jin’s room. It’s unlikely he brought it with him when he left Jin’s room because he didn’t have it then. Also, remember how Jimin joked in Jin’s Live that he doesn’t wear his own clothes when visiting Jin? This means that Jimin must have been in Jungkook’s room before going to do a Live with Jin and there is a good possibility that the T-shirt he had on wasn’t his but Jungkook’s. While this is speculative, what’s certain is that Jimin had been in Jungkook’s room earlier and stayed long enough to leave his clothing there, on a chair that also has someone’s underwear lying on it. Do with that information what you will.

Around 2:26, as Jimin picks up the clothing and starts to leave, if you listen closely, you can hear the sound of what sounds like a closet door opening and closing….a distinct creak, like those older wooden closets that open toward the front. You can even see the closet on the left near the TV.

The timing is notable because before this sound, all we could hear were Jimin and Jungkook talking, along with the sound of Jimin’s footsteps so I can’t think of anything else that could make that sound at that particular moment. What’s intriguing is that Jimin pauses and doesn’t walk directly to the door to leave. You can clearly hear his footsteps stop as the creaking sound is heard and then starts again after and then stops again. Why would he seemingly stop to open and close Jungkook’s closet before leaving if he is just a guest in that room? Again, do with this information what you will.

Now, this next part is speculative, but it seems obvious to me that Jimin had no real intention of leaving the room. Here’s why: when Jimin announces he’s leaving and Jungkook tells him goodbye for what feels like the umpteenth time, there’s a brief silence after Jimin’s footsteps stop. We don’t hear the door opening or closing during that pause. To me, it feels like Jimin intentionally paused, trying to create the impression he had left the room while simply standing silently by the door. We’ve already established from earlier behavior that Jimin is fully capable of doing this.

Also, note the lack of resistance from either of them regarding Jimin leaving. Jimin announces he’s leaving, and Jungkook immediately agrees without hesitation. It feels like there’s an unspoken understanding between them…like they’re merely playing along for the camera. This part will become important later.

The doorbell rings, and we realize Jimin is still in the room when he answers it. He opens the door, and Jin walks in. While they laugh and chat, notice how Jimin immediately starts explaining himself to Jin, saying he was “just leaving” before Jin arrived. To me, this sounds like a guilty person trying to proactively explain their actions before being questioned. Jungkook even chimes in, repeating, “Jimin was just leaving.”

This could mean one of two things: Jungkook could also be guilty and trying to explain, or he could be subtly signaling to Jin that he wants him to leave soon too. Jin’s response, saying he was about to leave anyway suggests he understood the hint.

What stands out to me the most is Jimin’s behaviour. He seems hurried and anxious. He turned to Jin and told him to say something to Jungkook kinda like “say what you have to say quickly and let’s leave” lol. Jin then says he wants to apologize to Jungkook (for turning off the live) and Jungkook says “thank you” but again we have Jimin lol. Jimin once again says this to Jin “Jungkook wants to say something to ARMY so…..” to me he was indirectly saying Jungkook wants to say something to army so let’s leave. Jin then asks if Jungkook can’t say what he wants to say with him in the room. What is worth noting here is that Jimin seems hurried but the question is, why doesn’t he just leave by himself? Why does it seem like he is trying to get Jin to leave with him so bad? They continue with their little banter, jokes and then they try to leave again before they hear a doorbell.

The bell rings and Taehyung comes into the room. At 5:21 Tae mentions that he came because the alarm went off (the Vlive notification) . The other members start commenting on how good his body looks and he says he worked out with Jungkook which means Taekook were probably working out together when Jimin and Jin were Live. Around 5: 43 Jungkook says “ one tries to go out and one comes in” seemingly acknowledging the revolving door of visitors. Then pay attention to Jimin again. He puts his hand on Tae’s chest physically trying to turn him towards the door while explaining to him that he was just about to leave. Yet another attempt to subtly get someone else to leave the room. Tae then says he watched them on Live while having steak in his room. ( this will be relevant later).

Eventually Jimin stops being subtle about trying to get the others out. Now he says it directly ….. lmaoo.

My question here is, why is he trying so hard to get the others out of that room? First he did it with Jin, and now he is doing the same thing with Tae. If he was tired and wanted to go to bed, why didn’t he just leave? It’s not like the others being there affects him in anyway…….except perhaps, he wanted them to leave the bedroom he planned to sleep in. That to me is the only reasonable explanation for his behaviour. Mind you he said he was leaving ages ago but minutes later and two doorbells rings later, he is still there. Why? At 6:21 you literally see Jimin let out an exasperated sigh and his body language tells that he is hurried and uneasy.

At 6:23, Taehyung asks “whose room is this.

The way he asks, genuinely curious shows he didn’t know. This stands in contrast to Jimin, who not only knew whose room it was but had even visited earlier and left his clothing there. This single moment should be enough to debunk any claims of Taekook being real because why wouldn’t Tae know his boyfriend’s hotel room? Mind you this wasn’t the first time we got evidence of him not knowing Jungkook’s room while they were on tour but Jimin always knew. Do with this information what you will.

Tae then moves towards the chair where Jimin picked up his piece of clothing earlier and we find out from him that there was an underwear laying there. Now there is speculation that it might have been Jimin’s because his other item of clothing was laying there but we don’t have any definitive evidence to support this so we leave it at a maybe.

The guys go on to joke about the underwear and later Jungkook’s clothes while Jimin sits on the chair with the camera. He looks kinda fed up and later he gets up and says he is leaving. I think he leaves for real this time cuz you can hear the door open and close. Jin leaves shortly after and we are left with Taekook.

Tae asks Jungkook if he had something to eat and Jungkook says this “ I don’t eat anything at dinner time” not “ I didn’t eat anything for dinner” or “I haven’t eaten yet. The way the sentence is phrased shows that he is informing Tae that he usually doesn’t eat dinner and not just today which means that is information Tae didn’t know. This seems like a small detail but why wouldn’t Tae know that his boyfriend doesn’t eat at dinner time? It raises the question of how well Tae knows Jungkook’s habits. Tae then says he is on a diet these days too but Jungkook reminds him that he earlier spoke about eating steak….

At 9:18, the doorbell rings, and both Jungkook and Taehyung go to check. Jungkook says the person rang and left, but you can still hear the doorbell ringing as Jungkook opens the door. Unless the person ran away at superhuman speed, it’s unlikely Jungkook didn’t at least see who was there.

What is worth noting here is that immediately after that doorbell, Jk starts asking Tae when he would be leaving. Now, many taekookers say that it was probably a staff ringing to ask Jk to end the Live but if that was the case then why wouldn’t Taehyung understand and then immediately leave when Jk started asking him to? Later on we see that Jk keeps subtly asking Tae when he would be leaving but Tae is clearly stubborn about leaving. Remember how I asked to take note of the way Jimin and Jungkook had a quiet understanding about Jimin leaving? I don’t see any reason why Tae would have been stubborn about leaving on camera if he knew he wasn’t really going and was just putting up an act. If anything he would have wanted to quickly leave so jk could end the live and they spend private time together but instead he was stubborn about it.

Jk asks Tae again when he will be leaving and Tae says he will leave after Jk is done with the Live. Jk then says he is going to shower and that Tae can continue with the Live. Watching Jk, it is clear he wasn’t going to shower with Tae on Live. I think he wanted Tae to leave but didn’t want to be direct about it so it doesn’t come off rude on Live. He starts fidgeting around, picking and folding ziplock bags lol.

At 9:59 or 10:00, there’s an audible cough-like sound coming either from the bathroom or outside the hotel room door. The echo makes it more likely to have come from the bathroom. At first, I thought I might be hearing things but what convinced me is the fact that , before this sound, Tae had the camera panned towards Jungkook but after the sound, Jungkook audibly asks Tae to “stay put” and then he walks towards the bathroom and we can hear him say something from a distance. Remember that Jimin had a little cough while on Jin’s Live, and even when Jk’s Live started, we only knew Jimin was there because of his little cough and we also saw him cough a few times during the Jk’s Live.

At 10:05 Tae asks……

Taekookers interpret this as evidence they were sharing a room. However, when Taehyung entered the room earlier, he didn’t even know it was Jungkook’s room and had to ask. If they were sharing a room, wouldn’t Taehyung have known? Taekookers argue that he was pretending not to know to avoid suspicion, but if he was trying to hide their relationship, why would he then ask this question that could supposedly expose it? The reasoning seems contradictory.

I’m not sure if there was a translation error or if there is some context we are missing but he clearly wasn’t sharing a room with Jk else he would have atleast known the room and also known that Jk doesn’t eat at dinner time, no? This might just be me but this question from him felt calculated and I could be wrong but I suspect it has something to do with that cough sound we just heard.

After this, Jungkook once again subtly suggests Taehyung leave, mentioning that he needs to shower and go to bed. Taehyung eventually decides to leave, and we hear the door open and close as he exits.

Note the contrast between Jungkook’s reaction to Taehyung leaving and his earlier reaction to Jimin leaving. This observation speaks volumes. Do with it what you will.

Once Taehyung leaves, Jungkook continues the Live, but it becomes obvious he’s distracted. He frequently glances to the side, seemingly at something or someone in the direction of the bathroom. Jungkook is not great at masking his expressions, and his unease is noticeable.

At 12:00, something white flies across the frame, which Taekookers claim is a candy wrapper thrown by Taehyung. However, it’s clearly just lint; it’s too small to be a wrapper thrown open and if it was folded before it was thrown, it wouldn’t have gone in that speed.

At 12:20, it is even clearer that someone or something is distracting Jungkook from the side because he looks to the side, laughs and then you can hear a faint whisper of “Saranghe”. Jungkook looks really uneasy too and if you know him even a little you’d easily recognize where else you just saw him look that kind of uneasy and with whom.

When Jungkook was alone with Taehyung in the room, he appeared calm and relaxed, even though he seemed slightly exasperated while asking Taehyung to leave. With Jimin, however, Jungkook was visibly uneasy…fidgety, scratching his nose, avoiding eye contact, and barely managing to look at Jimin. This unease, while subtle, speaks volumes about the dynamics between them. While some people interpret uneasiness as a bad thing…. in this case, it tells us whom he has something to hide with and who he doesn’t.

At 12:44, Jungkook looks to the side again and laughs, further indicating something or someone off-camera is drawing his attention. His behavior is strikingly similar to how he acted around 2:20 earlier in the Live, when Jimin said he was leaving. Jungkook’s distraction is impossible to miss; whoever is in the room is clearly holding his attention more than the Live itself. Someone he is desperately trying not to look at but failing woefully?

This Vlive for me stands out as an extremely significant moment for understanding Jikook. Just like you anon, I honestly don’t understand how anyone could watch this Live and genuinely believe it was anything other than a Jikook live. While Taekook had some lighthearted and cute moments, they didn’t suggest anything beyond friendship. On the other hand, Jimin and Jungkook’s interactions, body language, and subtle cues paint a much more complex picture.

I’m not one to jump to conclusions based on every sound or coincidence in a Live, but this particular VLive offers enough factual evidence to support the idea that something was going on between Jimin and Jungkook. The before-and-after context makes all the difference.

For me, it is never just about a particular moment but about the beginning and after of that moment. So many taekookers believe this Live to be a Taekook Live because many of them don’t know what happened before and after. The Live before was between Jin and Jimin so many Taekooker probably didn’t watch it but what they don’t realize is that, without starting from that beginning, you miss out on a lot of context or important information like Jimin’s jacket being in Jungkook’s room before he went for a Live with Jin or other little information we got from Jimin like the fact that he doesn’t wear his own clothes to visit Jin and that he is capable of hiding in the corner and watching members do Lives. These seemingly small details add up to tell a larger story.

This is one of my favourite Lives and as promised, I would try to elaborate more on other Lives I thought were significant to understanding Jikook more.

Can I talk about this image from Rivulet's ending for a second?

(edited to add a break because the post is very Long TM)

If Five Pebbles knows that you are delivering the Rarefaction Cell, Moon pulls this message up alongside the dialogue;

"I cannot run away from my mistakes forever; Please understand." Five Pebbles, what have you done… I've been given so much already, and now you've given all you had left.

Based off of Moon's dialogue, this seems to be an inbox of some sort. We can assume that the orange symbol is basically Five Pebbles' profile picture. Which would mean that the pictures to the side are unread messages from other iterators, some more clear than others.

Based on what we know of other iterators, it is probably safe to assume that the green diamonds are No Significant Harassment, while the red sun is, well, Seven Red Suns. We also see that Pebbles' message got greyed out when Moon opened it. Now, this is all well and good for understanding another aspect of how iterator communication works, that being that they can basically send emails to each other. However, that brings up a few questions; one, who the hell is this blue iterator?

This iterator's symbol is a bit different from the rest, seeming to have the third and fourth karma symbol in their profile picture, alongside a diamond in between. There are three possibilities in my mind. I'll go from most likely to least likely:

This is Chasing/Grey Wind, trying to check up on Moon before or after her collapse. This would make sense, based on their dialogue in the pearls.

This is Unparalleled Innocence. Despite being a jerk to Pebbles, perhaps they checked on Moon at some point.

This is Looks to the Moon, sending a message to herself, perhaps in hopes of using the inbox as a secondary form of memory if she is able to access it. The inbox has at least lasted all this time, for as long as the broadcast networks have been down.

My second question would be; what is the content of the messages from Sig and Suns? I believe that, for Sig's messages, they're the broadcasts that we see him send to Moon before her collapse. However, they could also be Sig's attempts to get the slag reset keys to her without needing his messenger to do it.

As for Suns, they could be apologizing to Moon for what had happened. After all, they were indirectly responsible for her collapse.

I suppose my ultimate takeaway from all of this is; I like getting a glimpse at what iterators can do, and how they interface with each other and the world. I also enjoy speculating about trivial things, lol.

there’s this story I’m fond of, and i will go one for way to long if I add details ( I already rewrote this ask twice lol) but it’s called I just want to freeload on your luck.

And near the end of the story, the antagonist(who is the adopted child) basically mocks the mc’s family because they actively neglected mc and they barely had to do any manipulation for them to treat her that way.

I feel like Tiffany would be similar, as of now, we don’t know much about her other than that 1-she’s a spy and 2- she’s been bullying reader for years now.

but when the batfam starts to hate her she probably won’t give a damn, maybe she’ll even throw everything they’ve done ( or rather didn’t do) back in their face.

they already caused 11 years worth of damage, so where do they get off acting like she’s the monster?

at least she knew what she was doing.

I’m still trying to speculate what her goal is if she couldn’t keep up the facade for long without stealing reader’s achievements - did she think that reader would put up with her nonsense forever?

Is she trying to be reader because she (mistakenly) thinks that the nice treatment she’s getting now is what reader was getting all this time?

Or is she that much of a sadist and wanted to make her even more unhappy?

I guess we’re going to have to wait to see

( while it’s probably a bit different there are these nasal sprays that you can use to prevent a cold before it gets worse, I felt one coming down yesterday and I used some so that might help if you get sick again! :) )

(also also reader doing their nails or wearing nail rings/guards (like Aki from street fighter) to administer venom would be neat!)

The thing is the batfam won't just hate her, some of them will actively be trying to hurt Tiffany. Tiffany is a very malicious character but part of the reason she tries so hard to mirror reader is because of her own insecurities. Before reader got bitten by the snake, Tiffany might've been able to keep stealing her things and bullying her because reader was so insecure that she could never really stand up to Tiffany. Tiffany is a spy so her goal is to infiltrate the batfamily and basically steal their secrets for as long as possible. She really does get off on making the reader suffer as a little side quest though. I was thinking more along the lines of reader having acrylic nails that somehow release venom tbh.

Alice just loves Sam so much and I can tell she still loves Sam in the Protocol universe as well even if she isn’t actively In Love with him at the moment. Whatever the “controlling” thing Alice did in their relationship in the Protocol universe was, if it hadn’t have happened they might have ended up married too. your eyes danced around the crowd of people as you strummed your guitar before closing your eyes with a smile and singing the rest of the song. you could feel the electricity in the atmosphere, even with your eyes closed.

when you strummed the final note, it felt like the floor was vibrating with all the screaming and cheering from the crowd. you didn't think the smile on your face could get any bigger.

"thank you, pittsburgh." you spoke into the microphone, "you've been amazing. you always are." you took a breath, "now, pittsburgh will always be a special place for me. it's where i moved into my first big girl apartment, where i got my first dog. where i met sid." you smiled, "it's home."

"sid is here tonight." you added and had to stop talking due to the amount of yelling and cheering, "i don't know where he is, he didn't tell me. so, if you see him, turn on your flashlight or something. "you joked, covering your eyes to block out the big spotlight in favor of looking into the crowd.

you scanned the pit, but you knew he probably wouldn't be there, so you moved up higher towards the seats until you finally spotted him, "there he is." you pointed, waving to him, "he didn't tell me where he was sitting, but he did request a song tonight. he requested 'eyes like yours'." you, once again, had to pause before speaking because the crowd was screaming so loud.

"i know there's a lot of speculation on this song and who it's about. well, i'm here to set the record straight." you beamed, "this song is about sid and i wrote it in 20 minutes after i got home from our first date. so, would it be okay if i performed it for you?" the crowd screamed in response, "all right." you looked back to your band and gave them a nod.

you performed the song, looking over in the direction where sidney was standing, a smile on your face the entire time. you strummed the last note, and you felt the walls shake. the crowd screamed even louder, their attention on something on the other side of the stage.

you looked over and saw sidney walking on stage with a bouquet of flowers. you smiled, taking off your guitar and setting it down, making your way over to him and hugging him, shoving your face into his neck. you had seen him a few hours ago, but he had apparently forgotten to mention his surprise appearance on stage.

"sidney crosby, you never fail to surprise me," you laughed, kissing his cheek and taking the bouquet he was holding out for you. you pulled away and made your way back over to the microphone.

"pittsburgh, i love you forever and always." you blew a kiss to the crowd and waved, "thank you, good night." you turned back to sidney, who was smiling.

he held his hand out for you, and you grabbed it. he waved to the crowd as you made your way off the stage. your band said their goodbyes, tossing picks and guitar sticks to the crowd, before following you off.

"i love you, you crazy man." you smiled as you looked up at sidney.

"i love you right back, crazy lady." he kissed your head, pulling away with the biggest smile on his face you'd ever seen.

I found the previous reintegration asks very intriguing.I think for the last few episodes more and more people started speculating if it was Helly and Helena at any given time(2x09 and 2x10)and I think that was incredible bit of visual story telling on both Britt and the creative team.The point was being made as soon as they started to acknowledge they are the same person they started to resemble each other.At least Helly acknowledged it outright.We didn’t see Helena do it.I think that’s meant to raise a question whether if the severed person think about himself/herself as one would it be possible to permeate the severance barrier?I think the answer is self love.Like if you acknowledge all the parts of yourself even the ones you hate and want to hide you’d recover and can move forward as a whole person.That being said it’s not Helly and Helena’s(I do love for Mark that’s the catalyst for her organic reintegration.It’s more so Helena has seen her inner child could have been a wonderful person if she’s not raised in a cult and Helly has seen what Helena has been through to make her what she is.It’s self love and acceptance.I don’t think the severance barrier can completely go away unless you go through operative reintegration.Idk if it’s in her future either.I’d love her to go through with it though.Helly/Helena is truly the best bet for innies and bring down Lumon or usher it into new direction.

yes!! we've watched helly act more like helena towards the end of the season, and it's really weird to me that some people would rather resort to a convoluted explanation of how it must be helena impersonating helly again, instead of just acknowledging that the two of them are fundamentally the same person. though, i suppose, it's quite similar to the characters' refusal to do the same lol (as we've seen with both mark and hellyna).

i definitely agree with what you're saying about acknowledging and loving all parts of yourself as the (only) way to move forward, and how you need BOTH surgical and organic processes for a successful reintegration. copying this part from a post i made before the s2 finale:

helly and helena may be undergoing some degree of natural reintegration, but i strongly suspect they will still remain forever separated (or at least fragmented) unless they undergo an actual procedure. as for the marks, they have merely undergone the technical steps without the organic basis for an actual reintegration, which i think is why mark's attempt has stagnated and/or failed.

also another observation partly inspired by this post: i think there are such elaborate measures to keep the innies and outies separate and communication between the two to a minimum because too much contact would inevitably kickstart the organic process. we watched this happen with hellyna: they are the innie/outie pairing with the highest degree and amount of contact between the two (from indirect communications to actually walking in each other's shoes), and they subtly but inevitably become more like the other. we have also watched this happen with dylan: if mark is the stitch between helly and helena, then gretchen is that for the dylans, with dylan's arc ending with the two of them reaching some level of understanding and (o)dylan aspiring to become more like his innie (which he believes he has it in him to become).

all this to say, i'm with you nonny!! truly can't wait to see where they take this forward. it's hard to imagine helena (or helly) willingly undergoing reintegration, even when it's the only logical direction for her arc to take. we're definitely in for a ride :)

One of the things that hurts the most in SPY is the end where Nancy finds Kate's letter to her in Ewan's hideout. I may have spoken about this before so forgive me, but it's weighing on me tonight so I gotta yap to yall about it. Spoilers, okay? I know SPY has been out forever, but just so yall know I talk about the end of the game a lot here.

Nancy, after being falsely dragged to Scotland (I used dragged loosely, I KNOW she went willingly, but she went under false pretenses. She was manipulated into going, and I can yap about that another time), basically dredged up her entire childhood trauma. I'd say Nancy is a pretty well adjusted adult (again, I know she toes the line between being a teen and an adult, but in my head she's like eighteen-nineteen years old, so an adult, but like. baby adult. you feel me?), but you can see through her flashbacks that her memories of the time leading up to Kate's death was pretty traumatic in itself, with hearing her parents fighting (especially the moment where Carson says "What should I tell Nancy, huh? That- That her mom doesn't care about her enough to stay?" [paraphrasing, I may have misremembered the exact wording but the sentiment is the same]). In Scotland, she's continually learning about the things that lead up to her mother's death. From Moira's deception to Kate (IE; guaranteeing her protection despite knowing that there was no backup for Kate) to how Kate was involved with Cathedral, it's a lot of information to be suddenly dumped upon someone, even if they're actively seeking it out. Nancy learns about Revenant, and their plans for the world, and how Kate sacrificed everything in an attempt to keep the world safe, both for Nancy and for everyone else. Alright, alright, I know I said the letter to Nancy, I'm getting to it, I swear. At the end, when Nancy finds Kate's letter, that's when it hurts the most. The whole game really hurts, if I'm honest (especially with my emotionally unavailable mommy issues), but the moment when Nancy sees the letter, and Ewan has scribbled all over Kate's final words to her daughter, it just rips my heart out. Kate talks about Nancy's silly horse shirt, and how stubborn of a little kid she is, and how much she just really loves her daughter, and the whole thing is just marked up by a basement dwelling creep. There was no EARTHLY REASON for Ewan to both keep the letter and write all over it. None. The letter provides no information about Revenant that he could have used to replicate the virus that the organisation created. It was a letter from a terrified mother to her soon to be grieving daughter. I'm literally tearing up writing this, LOL. And the worst part about it is that Ewan had no real reason for doing what he did. He only turned to Revenant "because he could". Nancy speculates that he felt small and wanted to feel powerful, but that's not confirmed by him. His only reasoning behind his actions is because he could. That's it. For some reason, that makes the entire game hurt so much worse. Everything about the game is painful to me, especially the parts where you can hear how scared Carson is for Nancy (I mean, I would be too, he probably spent the whole time worrying that he was going to have to go through that grief again of losing someone who was only trying to help others). I'll wrap up my yapping now, but feel free to add onto this if I missed something, I'm just in AGONY over my favourite Nancy Drew game again :')

honestly i think the original comic only gave one word action descriptors to prince/bard and thief/rogue bc they’re kind of the only classes that can be coherently described like that? even prince/bard become kind of shaky with the “destroys with aspect/allows destruction through aspect” part of the definition, because like, what’s the meaningful difference between “destroys with aspect” and “fights with aspect”? ultimately all classes have powers relating to their aspect which they can and do use in combat/a destructive manner etc. i think the whole concept of the classpect doc only really exists because when passing your project to different writers you kind of need to define the worldbuilding you’re going off of and so you need to standardize your ideas, even if that’s not the most comprehensive way to store info. you can even kind of tell that the page definition was made with jake in mind because “fights to preserve hope” is a comprehensive idea, but applying it to other aspects is much less informative. like, doesn’t “fights to preserve time” also describe dave pretty well? ig that could play into the common speculation that page/knight are paired, but i can’t really think of a mirrored definition that could make a meaningful distinction in any way.

yeah i totally agree about the purpose of the classpect doc which is why i hate that rodriguez keeps threatening to reveal more of it LOL. like that's not for me to see!! your job is to make a story good enough that i'll WANT to know what it says forever but never actually have to see it!!

disagree strongly about destruction not being meaningfully defined for prince/bard though. like for one thing destroying "with aspect" is obviously only half of the equation, they also invite the destruction OF their aspect, and I think that's the way Dirk and Eridan's relationships with Heart and Hope are best defined. Dirk interacts with souls in a way that is intrinsically destructive, in a way that phrases like "fighting souls" or "fighting with souls" just don't accurately describe.

Dirk totally DOES fight against the Heart aspect and with the Heart aspect because like you say struggle and combat are just part of the sburb hero's personal quest, but that's just why "fight" would be a terrible one-word summary for a class - even one with overt implications of warfare like the Knight. which is also exactly why i find it dumb that classpect leads people to get into arguments about whether x class "uses / exploits their aspect" like that isn't the description of what every fucking class does. god.

i think the idea that each class pair should have a defining verb or whatever the fuck works really when we actually know which two classes form a given pair, because it allows us to understand the class by comparing it to its paired opposite (#gender). but when you look at the million classes that DON'T have a straightforward pair it becomes such a losers' game trying to squeeze two of them into one verb. like if we cut the superfluous "fights to" from the Page description, a "preserver" class actually sounds really interesting and very easy to meaningfully distinguish from other verbage -- but now we have to figure out what the other preserver class is without even knowing what 50% of the classes' POWERS even look like ?? 😭😭 and the page has always been so hard for me to pair because like we're saying it already had such a vivid description: it's the class that goes from weak to suddenly strong. it simply makes no sense to me that there is apparently another class in the list that is somehow equivalent to that. this simply makes classpect seem fake as shit

I am having so much fun with this show. Hate that it's already coming to an end. And unsurprisingly, next week looks like it'll mostly be a performance. Perhaps this is the best way things can go, leading back into the game: everybody's plot arcs have resolved, but their underlying issues are still lingering, leading to opportunities for further progress. I've never read ahead of the English game (in any game) but I might have to for AveMu if we won't be seeing them over here for years.

But, so, where's the real Uika? During the whole time on the island, Sakiko never went "wtf are you talking about, you don't have a sister." And she correctly identified the moment it was Hatsune that came to her. This all still feels fully in line with a real Uika actually being alive somewhere. ("They moved to the mainland," said the cab driver.)

But at the end, when Saki calls Hatsune Uika again, it feels like she's saying, "Even knowing your origin, I accept you for the person you want to be seen as," which only works if HatsUika was one body all along, not if there's still a real person out there with a stolen identity.

Who knows. Well, one of you probably does. Lately every confusion I've had has been clarified by someone in the comments within 10 minutes of posting lol.

After posting my insta story I walked through the paddock gates. There was many people along the sides some people recognized me cameras quickly shuttered taking picks of me.

Even though I'm used to this attention it never gets any less exciting. After a snapping a few pictures with fans I said a quick good bye and went to the mclaren hospitality following the instructions that I was told.

It was a Thursday meaning it was media day there was hustle and bustle EVREYWHERE. I meet with a girl in the mclaren hospitality lounge.

"Hello your y/n right?" a girl questioned me

"Yes that's me" I smiled

"Great! It's so nice to meet you!" She beamed "my names is Sarah, I'm actually the social media admin for mclaren!"

"So you're the one who invited me?"

"I am the one who sent the invite, but actually it was one of our drivers who wanted to invite you" she chuckled

"Really?" I asked "can I ask who?"

"It was Oscar, he said something about someone oweing him later" she said

I nodded "Oh okay" I wondered what Oscar meant by someone oweing him.

After posting I walked back to the mclaren hospitality meeting Sarah.

"Hey Sarah" I greeted

I sat in the chair I was directed towards. I was sat on the far right, Lando on the far left and Oscar between us.

"Okay so we pulled a bunch of questions from the fans and sorted through them!" Sarah said off screen "and we were able to get quite a few" she smiled "okay to start: Lando, will you ever try fish"

"No" he responded immediately

I started cracking up "not even a bite?" I asked

"Never" Lando said "I'm sticking with what I like" Oscar just shook his head and Sarah moved onto the next question:

Sarah nodded "okay now y/n: how long have been a fan of formula 1?"

I sighed while thinking "well I've technically been watching since I was born cause my dad loved it" I said "but I've been a fan of mclaren for only a few years"

Sarah smiled and nodded turning back to Lando: "now Lando: what's your favorite football team?"

"Easy: Bristol City" Lando smiled

"Ah you mean soccer?" I said

"Leave it to the American to ruin the question!" He laughed

"Hey! Fun fact it was originally called soccer we kept calling it that and yall are the ones who changed it!"

Oscar was just laughing at the argument before Sarah started again:

"Okay okay, Oscar: what is your opinion on the dynamic between you and Lando?"

"I feel that me and him work well together. While we do have our moments" Oscar chuckled "we do push eachother to do our very best. Lando is very supportive of me with anything I need help with I am greatful for him" Oscar smiled

Sarah then asked me "y/n who is your celebrity crush?"

I started laughing "we go from Oscar's sappy answer to that" I crack up "Oh my god-" I grab my chest "give me a minute" I said as I catch my breath.

"Okay okay celeb crush?" I think for a moment "Oh god I don't think I could say" I laughed "I'd die if he sees this, and I know he'd watch this" I chuckled

Lando then spoke up "come on y/n" he smiled "tell us!"

I shook my head "only if it's censored in the video"

Both the boys look up at Sarah. She was intrigued by my answer and nodded "just cover the mic and say it."

I nodded and cover the mic, I looked back over and said-

Both Lando and Oscar fell out of there chairs basically chanting "no way!"

I uncover my mic as I laughed.

Sarah now also laughing said "okay thank you boys and y/n we'll end it here" the cameras cut "the video should be out later tonight"
