just read chap 9.1 for the third time already, I AM VERY MUCH NOT NORMAL ABOUT THIS
so lets go, time for thoughts
LITERALLY DEAD PLEASE THE HAND DOWN THE STAIRS IS ONE OF MY FAV SMALL MOMENTS YET. MIKE WHEELER will’s heart is IM COMING FOR YOU!
Tumblr media
THE HAND HOLDING IN GENERAL IN THIS CHAP!!?!?!!?? WALKING DOWN THE STREET AND IT’S KIND OF NICE KNDKSKXKXK.
MIKE PAYING FOR WILL??? I LOVE THEIR DATE THAT ISNT A DATE BUT IS DEFINITELY A DATE BUT THEY’RE JUST NOT AWARE OF IT
sure keep being in denial guys…
yeppp you def made will autistic again thea and so true
ALSO THE CASUAL AFFECTION IN PUBLIC THEY’RE SO IN LOVE
MIKE TAKING HIS FACE IN HIS HANDS IN THE MID OF A COFFEE SHOP “Let me do something nice for you” AND THEN KISSING HIM SOMEONE RUN ME OVER WITH A TRUCK I CANT HANDLE THIS
YOU KNOW WHAT, BETTER THAT I DONT GET INTO THE THRIFT STORE PART CUZ THIS WOULD BE WAY WAY WAY TOO LONG BUT THE GOD DAMN GRAVITY PART I GIGGLED KICKED MY FEET AND DEFINITELY CRACKED MY PAINFULLY DRY LIPS FROM TOO MUCH SMILING!!
THE MUSTANG!! okay honestly this hit very close to home cuz i have a very similar situation with my dad (a lawyer ofc) and his “EvErYtHiNg i PaYeD fOr iS miNe” sooo i fully get it and it felt nice having it explained so well.
OKAY IF WILL BYERS GETS BEHIND THAT WHEEL IM LITERALLY SCREAMING
ALSO IF IT HAPPENS THAT WILL ENDS UP DRIVING BACK (i rlly dont know what the US laws are for driving manual if u have an automatic license, but considering u guys let 16 year olds behind a wheel without at least a few months of driving school with a qualified instructor, im guessing not strict lmao) AND THE GANG SEES HIM IN THAT MUSTANG THAT WOULD BE HILARIOUS
also rip his dignity, but it’s already kinda gone so i wouldnt be surprised kskdkskd
ANYWAY AMAZING HALF A CHAPTER THEA I LOVED IT
RIS DON'T MIND ME ANSWERING THIS JUST NOWWWW LOL...
the hand down the stairs moment makes me 🥺 i would personally pass away if that happened to me so the fact that will is still standing is insane. he is so brave. princess treatment fr <3
will is so clueless to not clock the fact that this was a date until the end of 9.2 like girl. be so fucking fr. that said he Is autistic (me coded) so i think we can allow him to live!! just this one time tho!!
i am glad that you ended up #living and #surviving for 9.2 considering your reaction to 9.1....so sorry that i took so long to respond to this that your predictions/speculations are no longer relevant BUT ty for the monster comment and for the love!! i am glad you enjoyed ch09 as a whole!!

Hey i think ive sent compliments about ur stranger things fic on here before too but skdhdk i recently reread it again (at this point i think i do come back to it once a year lmao) and i just had to come back here again because i feel like its only gotten better on the reread!!! Everytime i remember what a disappointment the recent seasons of the show have become i come back to ur fic and am always astounded by the amount of care you've put into the story and the affection you have for the characters and truly fleshing them out the way you did. Especially a big fan now of the way you tackled the question of "how do we decide something or someone is a monster" on the latest reading between neil hargrove tuning into his radio, james harrington deciding who were real people and who are the monsters who needed to be contained, and ofc the little girls who knew themselves to be monsters now because of things theyve gone through but still try their best to hang onto things they love. Something i didnt pay attention to on the first reading but now i cant stop thinking about it!!! Esp with how jonathan immediately forms a rapport with the abused children instantly because he knows what its like to inherit that monstrousness from violence thats been done to you and desperately wanting to rise above it + the sympathy w which you wrote kali genuinely put this above anything the show could put out at this point. Maybe ever because i dont think the show could truly ever commit to the political stance its first season demanded. Thank u so much!!!!! I liked how now that theres smth of a positive relationship bw hopper and kali, theres potential for a kali and sara hopper team up in the future and possibly how hopper can keep in touch if sara ever decided to reach out.
Optional question for u to respond to: in the story its constantly referenced that jonathan met steves dad at some point and that was probably when steve was told that he wasnt to hang out with the byers. Im guessing that was when joyce dropped him off that halloween cause thats when steve started finding loopholes to meet up with him? I just wanted to know if that would be a correct assumption, and i was wondering how that encounter went down lmao
(btw the choice of making jonathan and steve childhood friends + steve and nancy always being jonathans first loves and them eventually falling into that same configuration the two of them promised each other even when jonathan was the only careful custodian of that memory and never brought it up???? FUCKING INSPIRED. I've never gotten over it ever. Steve admitting in his "rewritten history" bits that jonathans smile made him feel like a bullet train????? God I'll never stop being lightheaded everytime i think about that.)
Hey i think ive sent compliments about ur stranger things fic on here before too but skdhdk i recently reread it again
You're Anon, so I don't know! But if you did I am delighted you decided to reread and tell me more! Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! Haven't been on here a lot came back and was like...is that... a message?
the affection you have for the characters and truly fleshing them out the way you did.
I'm always so glad when this is what readers take away from it- I never wrote as a hobby before writing this (and haven't written since, unfortunately had the same ultimate feeling on s3/4 as you) but I really loved the show and characters after S2 and this was just an expression of that for sure. I'm so happy it comes through!
Esp with how jonathan immediately forms a rapport with the abused children instantly because he knows what its like to inherit that monstrousness from violence thats been done to you and desperately wanting to rise above it
Thank you! I really wanted a big part of the fic to be that no one's 'hero moment' has to be killing a monster with a bat- hell, I maintain to this day that Steve's was just apologizing in S1- and that it can just as well be empathy and kindness.
Maybe ever because i dont think the show could truly ever commit to the political stance its first season demanded.
Don't get me started.
Yeeeeagh. I don't remember if I had a thing for this? It's been a few years. The Halloween thing is from The Wolves in the Walls which was the original first chapter of this when it was still gonna be a 5 chapter character study instead of a you know, novel. I think in the fic proper it was that his dad was just around more when he was in grade school and just started to have to leave constantly when the project really ramped up around when Terry Ives/Ken/Gloria/Alice joined and 11 was born?
I'm so happy you enjoyed it - thank you so much for the excellent take and the wonderful comment!

I really do love the idea of Billy acting like he hates little kids until he’s presented with one.
Like, say ten years after most have said their farewells to Hawkins and moved elsewhere, they have a little reunion at The Byers’ house. And it’s, like, a big thing, Joyce sends out invitations and everything.
And Billy doesn’t really want to go because he still doesn’t know how they all feel about him, or if they’ll even want him there. But Steve makes him go anyways because “It wouldn’t be the same without you, Bill, please?”And Billy’s a damn sucker for his big puppy dog eyes.
So, they make the flight all the way from California to Indiana for this. And at first Billy feels completely uncomfortable because he’d never even held a conversation with half the people in this room.
So, he ends up sticking to Steve‘s side most of the time, staying quiet and out of everyone’s way. That is until he feels small hand trying to grasp at the thigh of his pants, only to turn around and find a girl that couldn’t be any older than five looking up at him with big brown eyes, vying for his attention.
It isn’t soon after that he makes eye contact with Nancy and Johnathan a few feet away, looking scared out of their minds that Billy Hargrove was that close to their kid. Because they knew what he did to Steve, and no matter how many time Steve says he’s changed, that he was basically a different person now they didn’t believe him one bit.
”Hey shorty,” he greets with a small smile, taking a knee to get on the little girls level, but not for long before his hand is snatched up and he’s being pulled with all the force in this kids body towards the living room.
”Come see what I drew,” she demands, pulling him along the second he got his footing back. And Billy isn’t really sure what’s going on, but items happening.
They stop very Abruptly, the kid grinning ear to ear as she shoves a piece of paper into his hand.
Honestly, he didn’t really know what it was at first, nothing but two stick figures, one with a yellow scribble on it’s head and another with a brown scribble.
”Wow, kiddo, this is a really cool…” and he trails off, kind of waiting for her to finish off his sentence.
To which she does, “You and Uncle Steve!” She beams gleefully and Billy only smiles wider because he got it now and it was the damn cutest thing he’d ever seen in his life.
”Oh, but I think you forgot something,” Billy starts, going to sit down on the couch, grabbing a random crayon to add on with.
Suddenly she looks very serious, sitting on her floor next to the coffee table, very curious as to what she might have forgotten.
“If you‘re gonna draw uncle Steve...” he continues, hand going to work,” You cant forget his big nose.”
The little girl cracks up as Billy draws a rather comedic ally large nose onto the Steve stick figure.
“And his big-“ Just before Billy can get out the word butt he’s interrupted, leaving the Steve stick figure with a semi circle just above his line legs.
”What are you two up to,” Steve asked accusingly, watching Billy quickly turn the paper over as not to be caught in the act.
”Oh, nothing of your interest, Harrington, isn’t that right, kid?” Billy answers in a prestigious, secretive kind of voice, sending Nancy and Jonathan‘s daughter a wink, making her giggle before she agrees with a loud, drawn out “Mhm!”
After that Billy and Steve end up nearly wrestling over the paper, Steve coming out the victor and chasing Billy all the way back into Will’s old bedroom, tackling him on the bed.
Before Steve can even accuse him of anything there’s a child dog piling onto his back, looking over his shoulder at the pinned down Billy.
”Nowhere to run Steve, you’ve fallen right into our trap…” Billy smirks, looking up at the little girl who is holding the same look.
”1…-“
”What‘re you-?” Steve tried to question
”2… 3… Get ’em!” And with that Billy’s fingers were digging into his sides in an attempt to tickle, the kids fingers going to his armpits, clearly understanding the assignment.
”Ah !” He yelped, twitching at the tickling feeling in his ribs, “Nancy! Johnathan! Help! I surrender!” He called.
”It’s too late now, Harrington!” Billy remarked, continuing to both tickle and hold him in place, cheeks almost hurting from the way he was smiling.
Luckily for Steve it wasn’t too late and Jonathan heard his call, plucking the small figure off of Steve‘s back. Billy watched as she kicked and grabbed to be put back, Nancy just laughing from the doorway.
“Well played, girlie,” Billy praised, reaching his hand out to high five her, a limp Steve weighing him down.
Honestly, he wasn‘t expecting Jonathan to bring her forward to accept it, but sure enough he felt a hardy smack on his palm. And maybe, just maybe this trip wasnt turning out to be as bad as he thought it would.

MY HUGE THEORY ON EL’S PLOTLINE IN S4
before you guys even start, YES I know that 99.9% of what I say is going to be wrong but this is literally just for fun.
its march 1986, middle of the school year and el HATES school
when we left her she was barely literate and had just started getting accostomed to speaking full sentences, NOWHERE NEAR a 9th grade level, so shes struggling in her classes to say the least
on top of that, she barely knows how to socialize with other people, so shes evidently getting picked on
with joyce and jonathan both working to keep the family afloat, will and el get left alone alot
but outside of the party, they socially have nothing in common
in fact, will is adapting to the new town a whole lot better than el. he fit right in with all the creative kids he met in class, but el didnt mesh with that crowd
anyway, our girl is sturggling
the only time she really has fun is when she visits hawkins, or when someone from the party visits them
which leads us to spring break
mike obviously comes to visit, and el doesnt want them to waste a single second so she begs mike and will to come explore the town with her
at this point joyce is already in her detective mode, hatching a rescue plan for hopper so she doesnt notice theyre gone
and jonathan is battling the heartbreak of nancy ghosting him when she was supposed to come visit
so the trio goes off on an adventure without anyone noticing.......... or so they think
because brenner is back, and he knows el is with the byers, but he cant go and snatch her because he doesnt have the resources all the way in california
in fact, he doesnt have the resources at all. his numbers experiment is seen as a catastrophic failure that lead to the deaths of hundreds of lab employees
the only way for him to redeem himself in the community, and gain his funding back is to present his peers with proof that the project can work, so he needs to get one of his numbers back
el is the only one he can track down, but he doesnt think he can do it himself. if she saw him, she could just kill him with her powers, he assumes because he doesnt know she lost them
so who does he employ to get el back to hawkins? lonnie byers
its almost too easy. it doesnt take much to bribe lonnie, and hey, its not like its his kid. so lonnie accepts the bribe, and goes all the way out to california to find el
he shows up at the byers house..... only to find it completely deserted. so he waits
and the trio finds him there after their day out (why are you here? what do you want? where are mom and jonathan?)
and lonnie, being as crafty as he is, comes up with a good excuse on the fly (hes craftier than i am because i genuinely have no idea what he would say)
anyway, he gets them in his car and on their way back to hawkins
jonathan shows up after theyve already left, and is too stoned tired to think anything of the empty house
and joyce is already halfway to russia
will knows his father. he knows that his father doesnt give a shit about him, the family, or anything about hawkins. he knows that his father wouldnt get involved in anything unless he had something to gain. so hes wraking his brain
maybe.... lonnie pulls over to take a suspicious phone call? maybe will figures out an inconsistency in his story? either way, the gang is onto lonnie and figures that they gotta get away from him and get back to joyce and jonathan
they tuck and roll out of the car. idk. all that matters is that they get out of there
as theyre rolling out of the car, el bonks her head a little and has a quick flashback to her time in the lab
since her intuition is always spot on, she takes this as a cue the breener is back and lonnie is working for him
she tells the boys it isnt safe to go back to california or hawkins, so they come up w an alternative plan, somewhere neither brenner nor lonnie would think to look for them
and while theyre on the road, they stop at a diner to eat (dont ask me where they got the money) and we get will leaving an emotional voicemail home, probably sobbing to jonathan about how much he means to will, which gives el an idea
because who has the resources to help her, as well as a desire for vengeance on brenner? kali
el uses her superb hitchiking skills to get them to chicago
maybe she just has some hints of her powers left, but it isnt too hard for el to find kali
she explains everything thats happened, and lets kali know that if she want revenge, the opportunity is hers
unfortunately, lonnie was hot on their trail, and called for reinforcements
theyre ambushed by the few employees brenner has working for him. initially, everyone is hiding, assisted by kali’s powers
but el knows they arent leaving empty handed, and would rather get taken away then have kali’s freedom taken from her
so el reveals herself, followed by mike because he wont leave her, followed by will because he wont leave mike
all three get taken away, back to hawkins lab, but now kali is even more motivated to bring down the lab once and for all
so kali and her gang get to hawkins, almost simultaniously with jonathan, who has been looking for his family in a frenzy since the morning he woke up to find eveyone gone, without even a note or a phone call, as well as argyle, who came along for the ride
the video store is being used as home base this season, so thats the first place they go, where they find steve, shortstaffed and not knowing whats going on because the whole team ditched him
they catch him up to speed on how EVERYONES GONE and steve catches them up to speed on how EVERYONE IS GETTING MURDERED
meanwhile, brenner has three predicaments
1) no matter what he does to el, what kind of torture he inflicts, she isnt using her powers because she doesnt have them. she tells him this several times. he refuses to believe it
2) lonnie byers is demanding his payment, which he didnt recieve because the deal was that he bring el to them, and he couldnt even do that
3) he has to find a way to dispose of mike and will, who he had no intention of bringing into the lab but theyre here and they know everything
and this is the moment where mike screws up by letting them know that people know theyre in the lab and people know about all the experiments and any second now, someones gonna come banging that door down to save us. nancy, jonathan, steve, robin max, lucas, dustin, kali-
and the second mike says her name he knows he screwed up
brenner decides in that moment that all he can do is round up everyone involved and get rid of them. conveniently, the string of murders occurring will serve as a good cover for what happened to them
and this is the part where joyce, murray, and hopper get back to hawkins
this is also the part where nancy and robin and the gang get back to hawkins
so nancy and robin immediately go to the video store armed with all the new information they learned from victor creel
..... and are met with jonathan, argyle, kali, and steve in pandemonium
they close the store for the day, and get ready to storm the lab
they realize that they need something from the school, so they head there to pick it up
and soon after arriving, theyre met with the all to familiar hawkins lab vans
they make a hasty escape, taking out some of the goons but they need to find a way to get the rest off their trail
they head for the woods, hoping to hide out in the cabin
meanwhile, the russia crew has taken the mostly demolished cabin as their haven to recover from whatever injuries they sustained
theyre all running through the woods, but they realize the people from the lab are closing in on them
and then nancy and jonathan pass a very familiar tree
they use whatever weapon they have on them to break through the bark, and head into the upside down
the lab people keep going into the woods, eventually finding hopper’s cabin
epic showdown between the russia crew and the lab people, joyce, murray and hopper win, they realize the lab is back, immediately head there realizing theyre gonna have to rescue someone
nancy and robin use the info they learned from victor creel to keep the gang alive in the upside down, max, argyle and eddie are freaking out because omg we’re in another dimention, we get some big reveal about the truth about the upside down and the gang makes their way out and head to the lab
and while this is all happening,we get some super emotional monologue between brenner and el (ala-the last 10 minutes of the truman show) and brenner realizes that el isnt going to be the naieve superweapn she used to be, and decides the best thing he can do with el is give her the standard punishment, time in the closet
and being in the closet triggers all sorts of flashbacks and emotions (mbb’s opportunity to show off her acting chops for an emmy)
joyce and hopper bust into the lab like they did in season 1, but this time they dont get caught
they decide to split up to cover more ground, and hopper finds el in the closet
and around the same time joyce finds mike and will and gets them out of there
here comes the REAL emotional performance
hopper sees her, we get a teary eyed “el!” “dad!”, and then hopper gets pulled away from el by lab workers
exactly the same way terry did
we’re watching this happen from el’s perspective, with a heart-wrenching “noooooooooo” from el, accompanied by cuts to every time el has had to be separated from someone she cares about (terry, the s1 ending, billy dying, her leaving kali in s2, saying goodbye to everyone on moving day, her being separated from mike and will when they got to the lab) accompanied by some terribly sad 80s song, then back to the present moment, she reaches her hand out and boom, the guards go flying. her powers are back
except she doesnt have control of them the way she did before, and now shes bringing the whole building down
her and hopper race to the the first floor, and meet joyce and the boys, they get out of the building at the very last second, and the whole thing collapses.
eventually they find the other group, the whole team is now together, they go and take down the big bad from the upside down, joyce almost KILLS lonnie
nancy and robin drop a huge bombshell that has to do with hawkins/the upside down, specifically pertaining to el, which they pieced together after talking to victor creel
we get a massive cliffhanger, season 5 starts like 10 minutes after the ending of season 4

Long Ago (Steve Harrignton x Henderson! Reader)
Request; could you possibly do a Steve Harrington x reader angst inspired by julia michaels song “what a time”?
Reader finds out through her younger brother Dustin that Steve had been cheating on her with Nancy, Mike having seen Steve all on Nancy and alerting Dustin himself. Reader gets in a fight with Steve next day at school and breaks down and Jonathan, her best friend, has to pull her away where her last words to Steve are "I hate you"
A/N; I'm honestly not really sure this is what you were going for...
Tumblr media
___________________________________________
"We need to talk,"
I feel a little nauseas and my hands are shaking
Your head snaps up at the voice all too familiar to your ears, eyes narrowing at Dustin shifting in his spot at the kitchen doorway,
"Okay," You say slowly, setting down your pencil next to your binder, "About what?"
I guess that means that you are close by
"About Mama Steve," Dustin moves closer to the table, your laugh following his statement, but it instantly drops upon your younger brothers stern stare,
"What's up, Dustin?" You pull out the chair next to you, patting, but Dustin curls his arms to cross, hugging himself,
My throat is getting dry and my heart is racing
"What I'm about to tell you, I need you to stay calm, okay?" He warns softly, and you furrow your eyebrows,
"Dustin, just tell me why the hell you're acting like this," You demand, and Dustin sighs, eyes shutting, pinching tighter,
I havent been by your side in a minute but I think about it some time even though I know theres some distance
"Mike saw Steve with Nancy touching more than they should've and Steve's cheating on you," A sharp inhale, "I didn't want to tell you because of how close he is with the party but you deserve to know,"
Dustin worriedly peals open his eyes at your silence, catching sight of you looking away, jaw clenching,
I think of the night in the park it was getting dark and we stayed up for hours
"Y/N?" Dustin speaks up quietly, "Are you okay?"
Your eyes move back to stare at him, giving him full view of the tears that suddenly came to your vision,
"I should've expected it," You murmur, and Dustin could feel his heart shatter at a tear that falls free, slipping down your cheek, "He's always been up on her, but I just pushed it aside,"
What a time, what a time, what a time
Your hand wipes your face, sniffling, and Dustin moves to you stand in front of you, hands out,
He feels you instantly grasp them and stand up, pulling him into your embrace, hand pressing into his curly hair,
"Oh no," Claudias voice is heard at the door of the home, Dustin glancing over slightly to see his mother slowly lower her purse onto the couch, "What did I walk into?"
You cling to my body like you wanted it forever, what a time, what a time, what a time
"Mom," You lean away from Dustin, showing your mother the broken look upon your face, "You were right about Steve, I should've just listened to you and stayed away,"
Catching on, Claudia quickly makes way into the kitchen, embracing her eldest and shushing you when your tears continued to fall,
For you and I, what a time, what a time, what a time, for you and I
"Shh, baby," Her voice lowers, leaning her head on yours as she swayed your body, "Dont ever let a boy get you this down, they're never worth it, do you hear?"
You nod, hesitantly, and Claudia leans back, wiping away a row of tears, "Chin up, dear. You are way stronger than this,"
I know it didnt end like we were supposed to, and now we get a bit tense
You smile, causing your mother to smile back, and she looks at your brother, "Now, explain to me what you saw before we jump to conclusions,"
__________________________________
"Are you sure you'll be okay today?"
You tug your textbook closer to your chest, looking up at Jonathan as you reached your locker,
I wonder if my mind just leaves out all the bad parts, I know we didnt make sense
"I think so. As long as I don't see him or Nancy," You tug open your locker, Jonathan looking to the side and noticing an all to familiar figure moving towards you,
"That might be a little hard, N/N," Jonathan warns, dragging you attention to his,
I'll admit it that I think about it sometimes, even though I know its not so distance
"Ill meet you in class, okay? Dont worry about me," You smile reassuringly, Jonathan staring at his best friend before moving away and walking down the hall,
"Hey sweetheart," A hand presses to your hip and pushes you into the lockers, looking up at Steve as he smiles his normal greet,
A moment of silence, and you slip away from him to shut your locker, "Hi,"
I think of the night in the park it was getting dark and we stayed up for hours, what a time, what a time, what a time
"You alright?" Steve asks worriedly, and you press your lips together, turning on your heel to look up at him a second time,
"I'm great, how about you and Nancy?" You ask through gritted teeth, and Steve furrows his eyebrows in confusion,
You cling to my body like you wanted it forever, what a time, what a time, what a time
"Why would I know how Nancy's doing?" He questions, and you laugh under your breath, grip tightening at your bookbag strap,
"Oh I dont know, you were all up on her yesterday after school, I just assumed you guys would be little secret tellers or some shit,"
"I wasn't all up on Nancy- where are you going?" Steve quickly takes your wrist, spinning you back around to stare at him, "Talk to me, baby,"
For you and I, what a time, what a time, for you and I, what a time, for you and I, for you and I, for you and I, what a time, what a time for you and I yeah
"Im not your baby," You swiftly shove him away, his back hitting the lockers instead, "Mike saw you on Nancy and told my brother, Im lucky enough they cared about me to tell me,"
"Y/N," Steve whispers in a plea, and doesn't notice Jonathan standing around the corner, jaw clenched,
I think of a night in the park it was getting dark and we stayed up for hours, what a lie, what a lie
He hated seeing you in pain. You were close with his family, so when you came by his house for school this morning and told him what happened, he and Joyce both comforted you,
"Why are you like this?" Jonathan can hear your voice raise, "You get a girlfriend but still fuck around with other chicks. I'm pretty sure Nancy isnt the only girl you go and grind on,"
Steven swallows, and you laugh, "I dont hear denial," You raise an eyebrow, "You make me sick, Harrington,"
You cling to my body like you wanted it forever, what a lie, what a lie, what a lie, for you and I, what a lie, what a lie, for you and I
"Oh but when you're hanging with Byers it's different?" Steve protests, and you jab a finger to his chest,
"Jonathan has nothing to do with this. And I have nothing to do with you,"
"You cant just leave," Steve demands, and you wipe tears you didnt know were falling from your eyes off your cheeks,
"I can, and I just did. I hate you Steve, I never want to see you again,"
For you and I, for you and I, for you and I. For you and I, yeah...
Hands take your shoulders, and Jonathan is leading you back until Steve was no longer in your view,
"Hey, calm down," Jonathan soothes, watching you sniff and run a hand through your hair,
"I cant believe I just did that,"
Jonathan smiles, "Im proud of you," He watches as a small smile tugged at your lips, "Why dont we skip class today? Mom wont care, she knows what happened,"
"I'll ask Dustin to cover for me," You approve, and Jonathan nods down the hall, where you stuff your textbooks in your bag and follow him to his car,

Steve Harrington x Reader
Introduction: Hello!!!! Olala but i'm not taking in any request! ): im sorry just have a busy life and I want to focus on one character at a time. Bare with me i'm rough it's been so long!!
Not sure how long the series will be put i want it to be long and cool haha. Everyone is alive bc i cant wait til season 4 !!! idk how i feel about it but here ya go this probably sucks sorry
warnings: drinking and drugs nothing too bad
Chapter 1:
Summary:  After the events at Starcourt Mall, destroying the flayer monster and everyone still managed to come out alive, everyone who was everyone decided to go their own ways. The Byers family moved away along with El & Hopper. As a gift Hop fixed up his cabin for you to stay since it was somewhat destroyed by the Flyer monster. You work at a small bookstore in Starcourt Mall along with Nancy. town there's a small bar that you occasionally read your poetry to the drunken people, it was only for the weekend random people from the bar or around the neighborhood would read their poetry/stories, no one you knew went here.
“Hey Nac, is it alright with you if I head out now?”
looking down your watch it read 7:30 it was Friday and the mall closed at 9, you just want to get home have a shower possibly change clothes before heading down to Dragons Corner Bar. you found this bar when you were tripping on shrooms walking through some woods, thought you were walking in wonderland in the middle of October here a Hawkins. What's odd about the bar was it was hidden, the driveway is long and the parking was big enough to fit probably 100 cars but there's always people walking here. People who are not from your town. Every time you went you felt like you've entered dark ages of dragons, princesses, kings and queens, the entire bar was shaped as a castle.
“Yeah that's fine Y/N, go enjoy your night!” she said with a smile, she usually takes closing on Fridays and you'd take Saturday, as a win win, both satisfied.
As you were leaving the store looking around starcourt so many families laughing, kids running around at their playstation, mothers sitting all together chatting who knows what. A Lot of people from Hawkins high are always here but luckily for you, an exit next to your store. It was a blessing. Avoiding big crowds and possible interactions with people from school isn't what you want. You hated it. Weirdly enough your friends with Nancy who used to be popular, both of you guys are opposite personalities, you will like the odd one out considering you love rock/punk bands and wearing dark clothes, but you always made it look cute making some popular girls angry. You found it amusing.
Walking to your car wasn't much of a walk since they have a section for employees to park, another blessing this Mall has to offer. As you were unlocking your car, you heard the door the mall opened. You wiped  your head around, only to find your favorite crush wearing his cute sailor uniform, ‘thank god i don't have a dress code’ you thought.
 “Steve! Ahoy mate!!”
giving your best pirate voice and mimicking dancing around in excitement to seeing him, Steve on the other hand that it was bad and laughed.
You loved the way he laughed it was gentle and soft, not enough to roll your eyes but enough to keep making him laugh forever  “Y/N enjoyed the attempt but that was bad!” Steve laughed clutching his stomach like he couldn't breathe
He was wiping away tears that went down from all the laughter” i must say cute little dance you did, ya missed me that much?” Steve said sending you a wink.
“are you done now? I tried okay don't give me your bs” you rolled your eyes trying to be sassy.
“Hey now i said it was cute” Steve said while taking off his shirt in front of you, not caring if anyone saw. You couldn't help but stare a little bit, he was fit, nice arms, toned, abs looked so nice you'd want to lick them. Snapping out of your trance of the boy, you went into your car, open the glove compartment to get a small bag containing rolled joints. picked one out throwing the bag onto your passenger seat, fumbling in your purse for a lighter. Groaning not having one on you.
“Need a light?” Steve said holding out his lighter already having the flame dancing for you
Leaning over to light the joint perfectly placed between your lips, inhaling and exhaling before handed it off to Steve, you always loved smoking with him. hell, he's the one that got you into it in the first place.
“Did you roll this?” Steve asked admiring the perfectly rolled joint like he's never seen one nicely rolled, twirling it around if with his fingers.
“Yeah, I usually like to roll a couple at a time and light one whenever” taking the joint from Steve, you briefly touch his hand, that alone gave you small butterflies, sending you shivers all throughout your body.
“How was work? It was pretty busy up at Scoops, god little kids are a bit annoying not knowing what flavor they want”
Steve said frustrated touching the back of his head “robin took care of most of them trying to get them to leave already” he said taking the joint from you inhaling, exhaling the smoke trying to make a ring. Failed but he tried.
“Work was okay, had a few customers come in to buy books, rearrange a small area in the back with Nancy. Were thinking about getting a rescue dog or cat to keep around the bookstore, so were making a little hang out area for people to read their books and have a nice time with animal”
you smiled at the thought of it coming together, you were more excited to adopting a kitty. Steve was looking at you smiling, admiring just how beautiful you are and sometimes he wonders if he should ask you out, he always had this crush on you but from all the rejections he's gotten asking you made him nervous.
He found it sexy just watching you hitting the joint, sometimes he wants to take your face in his hands and kiss you till your lips fall off but he couldn't he was too scared. He really wants to.
“Should get both? Don't you live at the cabin all alone? Get a cat for the bookstore since they are low maintenance and they can take care of themselves”
“I actually haven't thought of that, being alone in the cabin doesn't get lonely, im used to it, peaceful. Besides i asked Nancy to move in since she wants to be away from her house” you took a couple more hits off of the joint before burning it out. Looking towards the sky above trying to look at the stars but it was cloudy so nothing was out.
“I can take you to a shelter and help you pick a cat or dog, whichever you'd want” Steve said giving you a small grin like a little small boy, ugh you thought to yourself, sometimes you think he likes you but you're sure he flirts with every girl.
“Yes i would love that, maybe get food after? My treat” you said singly leaning over to him giving him the biggest smile ever
“Yeah we can eat burgers and milkshakes, how does that sound? I know a place we can go” Steve said while getting down off of your car hood, stretching showing a little of his abs. ‘Fuck’ you thought to yourself. ‘Why am I like this’ thinking this made you groan in annoyance hat Steve picked up
“ whats up Y/N ? watcha got going on tonight? Steve asking while fixing and trying to style his fluffy hair that you oh so loved.
“Gonna go home, refresh myself and then read a book, easy night for a long day” you lied to him, you didn't want no one knowing where your little secret bar was, you didn't want anyone to hear about your poetry.
Especially Steve, sometimes you write about your feelings about him but still you'd rather hide it and not have anyone know about it except well for Nancy she’d know about the crush you have for Steve for awhile now, she says it shows all over my face whenever he's around. Never got what she meant but never cared.
“Sounds relaxing to me, i'm going to meet Dustin and everyone for a drive a Quarry, ill see you around princess” Steve said while getting into his car, rolling down his window flashing you the prettiest smile “i hope you enjoy your night Y/N” waving to you while driving off.
“I wish you'd kiss me” you said out loud but no one but you heard that. Getting into your car you drove off.
Entering dragons corner everyone knew you, pretty much you will come here to escape being alone at home and nights when your thoughts got too much and a drink is what you need.
“Hey Y/N welcome back!”
Tom yelled from behind the corner waving at you.
“Hey Tom! Hows Betta?”
you smiled and waved taking a seat next to Lewis the other bar owner. Betta is tom's wife for over 40 years! You wish you find your soulmate and be together long, sounded cheesy but it's something you've always wanted. “Whats up girl” Lewis said going in for a fist bump.
“Betta doing good, she's been out of town visiting her mother and sisters” he said while mixing up your usual drink, dirty pina colada. not one for beer because of the taste and itll reminded you too much of your stupid father. “You miss her? Whens shes coming back?” you asked wondering when she’ll be back, she treated you like her own daughter after some poetry sessions you'd cry so badly in the bathroom, since you became a regular and pretty cool, they gave you a key for the back office that's so quiet and away from all the noise.
“She should be coming tomorrow, she's been gone for 3 weeks! Not having her around the bar have been so quiet” he said coming around the bar, taking a seat next to you.
“Here made your favorite, added a lil too much of alcohol but it should be okay” tom said giving you the drink with 3 cherries on top because he knows how much cherries are your favorite.
Taking a gulp from the drink you can slightly tell the more alcohol in this, burned your throat a bit but the chillness of the drink helped.
“The drink is wonderful and much needed” enjoying the drink while looking around its a full house, lots of people. Just thinking about being on the stage made you sick but thats why having one dirty pina colada was enough
“Open mic is gonna be starting soon, i think Lewis is getting the mic set up” he said standing up from his chair stretching and sighing
“It's been awhile since we got this much people, betta would be happy”
You had your journal with you with all of your notes of places, people you meet, drugs you've tried, and all the poetry you wrote. It's something you don't want to ever lose.
“Can I go first this time?” I asked nicely, giving him my biggest pout.
“Yeah i gotchu, want another drink? Virgin?” asked before wanting to add anything, he knew you drove here, doesn't want you to be impaired while driving, he cares about you too.
“Yeah, thanks I appreciate it” accepting the drink while Lewis stands on stage getting everyone's attention.
“Welcome welcome our insomniac and alcoholics…..
Earning a chuckled from the crowd.
Welcome to Dragons Corner, tonight we are hoisting our open mic and everyone who is everyone is able to come up here, thank you all for coming and enjoy your evening!!!’’ earning a loud cheer from everyone and having the small fainted of jazz music played, they like to keep it quiet when people are talking but not having any dead silence could get boring and make the readers nervous too.
“We'd like to start off with our favorite writers Y/N!!” Lewis said clapping towards my direction to motion me on the stage having everyone cheering for me made all my jumping nervous calm again.
“Hello everyone, im Y/N and i will be reading some sort of love poem for someone that i wish would notice me, alright here we go…
When i think of you i think of all the good things life has to offer
like coffee on an early morning
the first sight of the sunset or sunrise
Or when someone falls in love for the first time
The way you smile
The way you laugh
The way your hair is poofy and curly
Sharing smokes, secrets, food, love
I wonder what's it like to kiss you
To touch you
To feel you touch my skin
I wonder what's it like making love to you
My lips ache for yours
Please notice me
Notice me how birds notice a worm on the pavement
Notice me
I want to give you the world in this cold lonely world
Notice me………”
You finished and stepped off the staged, everyone snapping their fingers no one clapped during open mic it was just more quieter and better. “Who is this lover boy?hmmm” Lewis said walking down the bar and meeting your gaze
“This kid named Steve, i went to school with him. He was this big king of Hawkins high before Billy came into town and took that title. Steves sweet and nice. He's always looking out for me”
you said smiling just thinking of him made your stomach want to do flips, just something about im made you feel so alive, he’d always make sure you were okay.
“Does he feel the same?” asked while cleaning around being busy but still talking to you
“I'm not sure, well i don't know, i wish i knew..” just the thought of him liking someone else made you sick and sad. You just wanted to be his.
“You're too wonderful Y/N, i bet he does feel the same” giving you a pat on the shoulder and giving you a warm smile the one that says ‘you got this’
You let out the biggest sigh and decided to head out. “Alright Lewis, Tom i'll see you guys tomorrow night!” waving at both of them as you were leaving the magical castle. Stepping outside was a little more chiller than before but luckily you dressed warm. Turning on your car playing fleetwood mac.
Returning to your cabin, you've decorated it with tiny lights so when you've come home in the middle of the night you can see where you're going and not fall and hit yourself like last time before buying the lights, recalling the memory and the pain you just glad it wasn't anything major. Although the figure waiting on your porch was something you didn't expect.
“Steve?” you questioned the figure it was dark you couldn't tell who it was
“Hey Y/N..” he replied with a little sadness in his voice something you notice right away
“Lets go inside, got something on your mind?” asked curiosity hoping it wasn't anything but bad but just wanted a friend
“I thought you were here like you said earlier but no one answered so I waited, it was only an hour, i dropped Dustin off and i wanted to see you again..” he smiled towards your direction while being distracted with your living room and how nice it looks.
“It's so cozy here” he said eyes wandering around can't seem to be fixed on something
“I try to make it as cozy as possible since it's just me, i need my home relaxing environment. It helps alot” you said while disappearing into your room to change into pjs, you hadn't realized you forgot to put on pants because your tipsy mind forgot about Steve
“Cute butt” Steve said while checking out your ass, couldn't help himself but also want to embarrass you. Realizing this you ran to your room to grab a pair of shorts
“My bad, had small drink” your face redder than a tomato at this point. Steve on the other hand found it adorable you blushed really dark red
“Soo steve why are you here and no home?” completely forgot about why he was waiting for you
“Well i wanted to see a movie but not alone and so i thought of you, i have movies we could watch” steve taking out 2 movies from his jacket and handing it to you
“Halloween 2 and Alien, hmmm horror type? Lets watch alien i love Ripley” popped the movie in and went over to the couch where Steve started to get comfy
“Would you want to stay? It's late and I wouldn't want you to drive” you asked hopefully it'll be a yes since you could possibly ask to cuddle later on. You looked over to Steve lost in thought but snapped back to reality quickly when you asked him to stay
“If you don't mind, we can make pancakes tomorrow” he said with a soft smile
“Yeah i'd love that”

Ok but what if... Mike was really homophobic...
Bear with me, I’m going somewhere with this I swear. And the way is  BYELER.
Major Warning - this fic explores and deals with homophobia, abusive behaviour, self-destructive/self-hate behaviour, bullying, hate speech/slurs and dub-con. Let me be explicit, MIKE displays all of these tendencies in this fic. Please do not read if you don’t think this will be your cup of tea. Please keep yourself safe and heed the warnings.
ETA BECAUSE PEOPLE STILL DON’T SEEM TO BE GETTING IT: Mike in this story is very OOC. Like it says right there in the title - this is a WHAT IF story. I don’t actually think Mike’s character is like this. Oy vey.
This started as a story prompt for other writers. Then it became like a HC post, and now its like a weirdly formatted 6000 word wholeass story under the cut. I didn’t mean for it to get so long....
- ok so its like an AU where the upsidedown and Eleven didn’t happen
- what if Mike broke from the group when they entered high school
- like what if instead of puberty hitting him in all the wrong ways, it instead hit him in all the right ways. maybe those long limbs earned him a spot on the basketball team and he becomes a bit of a jerkish popular jock
- further to that, what if... what if he joined in on the bullying of Will in a BIG way
- Will was being teased for being a “fairy” before any of that upsidedown business happened. That’s a canonical fact.
- Of course Will is devastated the first time Mike calls him a “fag” and stands by as two other jocks push him to the ground and throw his bag in the garbage
- Of course he doesn’t know what to do when he sees Mike among the group of individuals hightailing it away from his locker, spray-paint can in hand, as Will approaches and beholds the slurs and horrible drawings graffiti-ed across his own and the neighbouring lockers
- he can take the other guys being jerks but Mike, who he has practically known all his life... he doesn’t know how to respond to that, he doesn’t know how to fight back against that.
- Its not even like he ever even told Mike the truth about his sexuality. Will was careful to hide his feelings. There’s no way he could know... so why does Mike always act like this is personal? Like Will is personally offending him just by existing?
- it goes on for years. Will getting by as best he can with the constant bullying and the help of Dustin and Lucas who remain by his side, even after he tells them the truth, that all the rumours are true, that he is what they say he is.
- it all comes to a head one night. Will walking through town after seeing a movie with the guys. He thinks he will go visit his Mom at work and bum a ride home hopefully. He see’s the group of jocks hanging out in the street, Mike among them, arm around some anonymous girl. They look rowdy, they look drunk. Will is nervous and crosses the road ducking into an alley to take an alternative route. He doesn’t know that Mike saw him.
- He thinks he’s home free when he emerges from the mouth of another alley, but Mike is waiting for him, leaning against the wall in the shadows. He pushes him back into the alley with a “where do you think you’re going Byers?”
- Will is somewhat relieved to see Mike is alone, maybe he can be talked out of whatever he has planned. And so he isn’t ready for the first shove that smacks him back against the brick wall.
- “I asked you a question Byers! Where the fuck do you think you’re going?!” and Will can see fire blooming in Mike’s eyes as he tries to sidestep him but only gets shoved back against the wall again, this time banging his head so hard that black splotches swim in front of his eyes
- And suddenly all of Mike’s 6′3 frame is pinning Will against the wall and he can smell the alcohol on his breath
- “Please Mike...”
- “Shut up faggot! Is that what you’re doing back here. Meeting one of your faggoty friends? Sucking his cock like the fucking disgusting queer you are?”
- The terror is building inside Will. He never thought he would ever feel this way around Mike but here they are and he feels like his lungs might be collapsing
- “Mike...”
- “You think you’re better than me don’t you. That you’re above it all. The way you walk around that school. Looking the way you do. But you’re wrong. I know what you are. You’re nothing. I am better than you, in every fucking way. I am.”
- “Mike please...”
- But there are fingers clutched around his jaw and Will’s eyes are wide open as there are suddenly lips mashed against his. A tongue violently invading his mouth and teeth clacking painfully against his own.
- The kiss is brutal and furious and tastes of cheap booze. Nothing gentle or affectionate about it. But for a moment Will forgets every horrible thing that has ever happened to him at the hands of the boy in front of him because...
... because he doesn’t think he has ever heard anything as... as sad as the anguished groan that almost sounds like it is being ripped from Mike’s throat.
- Will remains perfectly still, neither participating in the kiss or pulling away from it. He couldn’t even if he wanted to. Mike’s grip is just so desperate.
- Slowly the taller boy pulls away. His eyes are bright and wild as he steps back panting heavily.
- Will can’t move, can barely think, his head is throbbing and he needs time to process what just happened. Mike’s voice is low and threatening and slashes through the silence.
- “If you tell anyone, I’ll fucking kill you.”  And with his sleeve rubbing harshly against his mouth, he runs away.
- So now Will knows Mike’s secret. And everything makes a little more sense, but not a lot.
- And he could have left it at that. Gone on as usual and never acknowledged what had happened in that alleyway ever again.
- But Will cant. This is Mike... and no matter what he’s become... to Will he is still that boy that was his best friend for years. Who he used to patch up whenever he would do something reckless like ride his bike with no hands or climb a tree that was way too flimsy to hold his weight. The boy who had cried and admitted to him that he sometimes felt so lonely when he went home from sleepovers it was like his insides were clenching in on themselves... trying to turn him inside-out, or maybe make him disappear altogether. The one who never made fun of him for being afraid of the dark and sometimes even held his hand as they fell asleep beside each other...
... the one he had been well on his way to falling in love with before Mike had... become what he’d become.
- So he pursues it. He approaches the bear completely ready to poke. But Mike doubles down on either pretending he doesn’t exist, or throwing insults at him like he is being paid for it. Will can’t seem to get a moment alone with him.
- and so Will bites the bullet and sneaks into Mike’s room to wait for him to get home from practice one night. It’s no trouble, they used to climb through each others windows all the time before...
- at first Mike does not react well. He rages, he threatens, he denies. But he doesn’t lay a hand on Will. And that is his trump card. As long as Mike doesn’t physically hurt him, he can take the verbal beating. He knows Mike is confused. And he knows how scary that can be.
- and so he accepts Mike’s weak-at-best excuses. That he was drunk and didn’t know what he was doing. That he was horny because Sally Davidson had cock-blocked him earlier that night. That Will was so goddamn girly looking that anyone could get switched around on a dark night. Will sits on Mike’s bed and nods with a wry eyebrow raised that he knows Mike sees and then.... he leaves. He makes sure to make eye contact with Mike before ducking out the window though. Tells him if he ever needs to talk, he’ll be there.
- things don’t necessarily improve for Will after that... but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t notice that Mike is no longer an active participant in his bullying. Maybe its just a coincidence that Mike just happens to never be around. Will chooses to believe it isn’t. But he has to test the theory. He has to push a little harder.
- So he takes another chance and climbs through Mike’s window a second time about a week later. He doesn’t allow Mike enough time to cuss him out this time. Just sits on the edge of his bed and starts chatting away as if they are good friends. As if nothing’s changed. He asks him about Holly. He asks him about Nancy. His parents. He asks how practice went. Has Mike thought about college yet. Etc etc.
- To his utter surprise, Mike stares at him for a long time, sighs, collapses into his desk chair, spins around a bit staring at the ceiling and... begins to talk
- He finds out that Holly is an insufferable terror that Mike hates to love. That Nancy stopped checking in after awhile and barely ever comes home for holidays. He finds out that Mike still hates Ted’s fucking guts and also hates that he wants to impress him so much. He finds out that Karen drinks too much and that Mike keeps a stash of confiscated bottles under his bed that he has no guilt about dipping into on nights where he feels like it. He doesn’t learn anything about basketball practice because “what the fuck would you know about sport faggot?” And he learns nothing about college because apparently Mike doesn’t like to think about the future too much because “whats the point...?”
- Will leaves again the way he came. There are no pleasantries, no “we should do this again”. Just an instinctual knowing that Will has to keep pushing whatever this is. Because there is something desperately wrong with Mike. He can feel it.
- but he doesn’t know what he can do. He talks about it vaguely with Dustin and Lucas, carefully leaving Mike’s name out of it. It is Dustin that first floats the word “depression” into the conversation. And it fits. And it scares Will.
- Will hasn’t had cause to observe Mike closely for a long time. But he observes him that week. Observes how he almost seems glassy-eyed and not present when he sits at lunch with his friends. How a frown creases between his eyebrows when Sally leans over to kiss him that disappears before she leans back and has a chance to see it. That the only time he seems genuinely happy is when he is on the court and he is concentrating so devastatingly hard on bringing his team success.
- And if Will’s heart just happens to flutter a bit with the new intimate knowledge of just how sharp Mike’s cheekbones have become, or the cute way he wipes sweat from his brow, or how his lips go cherry red after he’s been chewing on them... well that’s another thing entirely and not what matters right now.
- Will was just considering whether he should visit Mike’s windowsill a third time when a mysterious note appears in his locker. “Come help me with my science homework nerd. Wednesday night. I’ll leave the window open. - M” and Will’s heart just might do a little dance.
- It quickly becomes apparent that Mike does not need any help with his science homework. He knows most of the answers when Will tries to quiz him. Maybe Will shouldn’t be surprised. Mike had always been smart, no matter what sort of meatheaded company he keeps these days. But then if he didn’t need help, then why was Will here?
- He keeps the charade going though because he can’t deny, Mike being nice to him is a bit of an addictive activity. And he is being nice, all condescending comments about nerdism aside. He hasn’t called him faggot once tonight. Thats progress!
- He even asked about Will’s mom as he was leaving that night. And so, with one leg hanging out the window, bewildered expression on his face, Will tells him that Joyce is well. That she smokes too much and worries about Jonathan at college, and puts too much effort into yelling at Lonnie on the phone to pay child support, and wishes Will and the boys would hold their D&D campaigns at their house instead of Lucas’s because she doesn’t like Will biking home late at night
- Is it just Will’s imagination or does Mike’s face almost look wistful as he talks on? Mike blinks it away pretty quickly though as he scoffs and turns away from the window. “whatever, later nerd”. And that’s that.
- Life goes on. Mike still pretty much ignores him at school. But Will will take that over the bullying any day.
- The second time things come to a head is again late at night with Mike drunk, and Will completely sober. He’s just finished a campaign, but chosen to not sleepover at Lucas’ like Dustin. And so he’s walking his bike in the dark, enjoying the crisp evening and the view of Ursa Major. Must be close to 1am when a car screeches past him.
- Curious, he pauses at the end of a cul-de-sac. Of Mike’s cul-de-sac he notes with interest. He watches as the car pulls up outside Mike’s neighbour’s house. Watches as a figure stumbles out of the car. Notes a few laughs and cheers emerging from inside the car and then watches in horror as the car pulls away and drives off.
- He knows instinctually that the figure is Mike, and he can gather that he must be drunk by the slumped way he is down on one knee, hands to the grass and appears to just be staring at the ground breathing.
- What kind of fucked up friends just leave like that?! Not even helping him inside?! Not even making sure they are in front of the right fucking house!!
- Will is full of indignant anger! And it is this anger that drives him to march over and bend down and ask if Mike is okay.
- “Where the fuck did you come from??”
- “Doesn’t matter, can you walk? C’mon big guy, lets walk.”
- Will is so fucking grateful the door to the basement is unlocked. The state that Mike’s in, he’s fairly sure they couldn’t have handled a quiet entrance through the front door, and definitely not sneaking through Mike’s second story bedroom window.
- He does not expect the rush of nostalgia that momentarily overtakes him as soon as he lays Mike down on the same old couch that was there when he was 10 fucking years old.
- Rinses out a cup at the same old laundry tub and fills it with water for Mike. Walks past the same old shelves laden with familiar board games - though they appear to be collecting dust... its all a bit discombobulating
- There are a few differences of course. Will can see the old playing table and chairs stacked into a corner. The comics that used to stand proudly on the shelves by the board games have disappeared. Probably in storage or maybe even given away...
- He looks to the boy in front of him as he puts the cup on the coffee table. Probably the most changed thing of all in this dusty old basement.
- “Do you still write Mike?”
- “Huh?” Mike’s head doesn’t even lift from where it is leaning against the back of the couch. Will stands awkwardly off to the side. Not sure if he should sit or not. He feels like he’s invading.
- “Like short stories. You used to write these really neat short stories. Do you still do that?”
- He watches as Mike’s brow furrows in concentration. After a short silence Mike utters vehemently “Course not. Writing’s for faeries”.
- Of course it is. Will thinks sourly. Why do I even fucking bother? He feels angry and tired and suddenly a great yearning to be home. To be away from here.
- He starts to shuffle towards the door, not really looking forward to the cold ride home, but he feels like he’s done all he needs to do here. Time to go--
- “At least, that’s what Ted always says...”
- Will pauses at the doorway and looks back. Mike’s head has popped up over the back of the couch. His eyes look wide and stricken, like he’s shocked to see Will leaving.
- “Ted’s an asshole” Will murmurs.
- Mike chews on his lip for a few moments. “I know. I hate him. But... he doesn’t like me either so I guess fairs fair.” Mike turns and sits properly on the couch. With only the view of the back of his head, Will hears him mutter. “It’s funny, I always thought parents were meant to at least like their children but I guess mine are the exception...”
- He sounds more sober. And Will considers keeping on walking but... the way Mike is sitting... he looks so small, so lonely and so... haunted. Will carefully approaches and sits at the very opposite end of the couch.
- “I’m sure Karen likes you...” he tries to reassure but Mike is already shaking his head.
- “Karen is in no state to like anyone. She checked out on emotions a long time ago... I guess she passed that along to me right? Not just the drinking habits. How twee.”
- “Mike...” Will doesn’t really know what to say.
- “Nancy definitely doesn’t like me... doesn’t talk to me anymore. She says I’ve changed. Says who I’ve become is ugly or rotten or... something like that so... that’s another person to add to the party.” At this Mike pauses to stare at his clasped hands before letting out a barking laugh that has Will worrying about him waking the people upstairs. “Fuck man!” Mike exclaims. “I’m pretty sure even my friends don’t even like me all that much! So there we have it! Nobody likes Michael Andrew Wheeler! Game, set, match!”
- “I like you...” Will whispers and the words are out before Will even realises he’s the one talking.
- He watches as Mike’s head whips around to stare at him intensely. Feels caught by the dark gaze. Mike is moving closer to him, sliding along the couch until he is directly next to Will. Making Will feel pinned like a small struggling animal inside a trap.
- “Do you really?” Mike’s voice is deep and serious.
- All Will can manage is a slow nod.
- Mike bites his lip releasing it into a small predatory smile.
- “Good. Prove it.”
- And they are kissing. Will kind of knew it was coming this time. Doesn’t mean he is prepared for the harsh way Mike grips at his face and then his neck, moving eventually down to his shoulders jerking him forward. His sharp breaths that Mike seems to swallow as his mouth seals itself against Will’s. This isn’t the first time Will has french kissed, but this time there is nothing caressing or gentle about what Mike’s tongue is doing in his mouth. Will isn’t sure if he likes it. Kissing shouldn’t feel like a fight should it? he thinks dazedly.
- He tries to retreat from the kiss, to pull it back just a little. Make it something not so... not so aggressive. But Mike just grips at his shoulders all the more desperately.
- A throaty moan, a mirror to the one Mike uttered in the alleyway that night. The one that almost sounds like its laced with pain. And suddenly Will’s hand is being grabbed and unceremoniously thrust against the front of Mike’s jeans where he can feel the hard line of his erection.
- Whatever trance Will had been operating under breaks at that. He wrenches himself backwards, feels the hot lines of broken skin where Mike’s fingernails drag against his hand that he pulls away.
- Will tries to sound firm even though he currently feels like he might shatter if pushed too hard. “You can’t keep doing this to me Mike. I-Its not appropriate and its not... nice!”
- Mike looks... Mike looks upset... then he looks annoyed, then he looks thunderous.
- “Fine. Fuck off then faggot.”
- “Mike...” Will could feel tears gathering in his eyes.
- “No really. Fuck off. I thought all of you queers were meant to be begging to get something in your mouth. I must have the most prudish fag in town right in front of me here.”
- “Stop it. You don’t mean that. Any of it.” Will hated the quaver in his voice. The trembling in his shoulders.
- Mike looked murderous as his face twisted into a sneer.
- “Oh boo hoo. Did you think I actually gave a shit about you faggot? I was just trying to get my dick wet. A mouth’s a mouth after all. Sally doesn’t let me do anal with her. Thought I might get to finally give it a go if I got you drooling enough for it...”
- Will was feeling so much. Why was Mike being like this?! Lately he had been so... and Will had thought that maybe he was...
- Then again, why was he surprised?? Wasn’t this consistent with the behaviour he had experienced for the last 4 or so years? Wasn’t this par for the course?
- “You’re a coward” Will finally managed to get out past his swollen tongue. He was sobbing openly now, he felt like the insides of his lungs were burning. “You’re just a scared little boy who doesn’t like himself and so you take it out on others. Take it out on me! Fuck you Michael Wheeler. I hope you die!”
- He was up and moving before he even recognised his legs were working. If Mike said anything after that, he did not hear it. It was like there was wind whistling in his ears and he could not grab his bike fast enough, could not pedal hard enough. He just needed to escape. Escape the words and the taunts and just... all of it.
- Escape Mike...
- Will spends the rest of the weekend in a strange funk. He replays the events over and over. Mike’s face swims in front of his eyes. Angry, sad, lascivious, lonely, desperate.... Will feels sick to his stomach. He shouldn’t have said what he said to Mike. No matter how horrible he was being, Will should have kept his cool. He knew how unstable the teen was and yet he still pushed him. He just had to push him.
- Will knew no matter what, he had to talk to Mike on Monday. He would do it in front of all of his jock friends if he had to. He would take the abuse and the bruises. He just had to tell Mike that he didn’t mean it, that he still cared.
- But... he couldn’t find him... he didn’t appear to be in any of his usual spots or in fact anywhere inside Hawkins High that bright sunny Monday. It made Will’s teeth itch and his stomach tumble with anxiety. First period, second period, all the way through to lunch.
- Will gathers a tray of food but doesn’t think he can eat. He’s staring solemnly at his tater tots when he feels his friends slide into the table across from him.
- “Will, did you hear about Mike Wheeler?”
- “What?” Will’s head snaps up, his eyes wide. “What about him?!”
- Lucas looks to Dustin who looks equally as surprised at Will’s reaction.
- “Dude’s in hospital...” Dustin says carefully.
- “WHAT?! HOW? WHAT HAPPENED?!”
- “Dude whats wrong? Why do you care so much?!”
- Will feels like he is going to throw up. “Tell me Dustin!”
- “I don’t know all the details. Apparently he fell and cracked his head open or something.”
- “Yeah I could hear the ambulance sirens from my place on Sunday morning” Lucas added. “Apparently it was some sort of bathroom freak accident. But like, not in the shower, he had his clothes on and everything. But apparently there was blood everywhere.”
- “Oh God...” Will’s head is buried in his hands. His worst fears coming to fruition right in front of him. “Oh God he did it he tried to do it. And its my fault.” Because he knows. He knows it wasn’t an accident. Mike tried to hurt himself and it was all Will’s fault because he practically told him he wished he were dead.
- And then Will is sure he’s going to throw up and so he flees the cafeteria, much to the astonishment of his friends. He empties the contents of his stomach into the nearest toilet with just a moment to spare. And even after there is nothing left to come up he still retches. Over and over again. It feels like punishment. Except its not enough. He hears the door open behind him but he just doesn’t care.
- “Will what is going on? What’s gotten into you” Will feels a soothing hand against his hair.
- “You mean what has gotten out of him?”
- “Shut up Dustin.”
- Will rolls over and looks up blearily at his two friends squished into the stall with him. “Is he okay?” he asks his voice trembling, dreading the answer.
- Dustin looks worried again. “I-I don’t know. Nobody does. But if something really bad had happened we’d hear about it right?”
- “Something really bad HAS happened. And its my fault. I need to go, I need to see him.”
- “Wait Will. Hold up. You’re not making any sense. Since when do you give a shit about Wheeler?! He’s one of the assholes that makes your life hell!” Lovely Lucas. Beautiful, sensible Lucas. He just doesn’t understand. Will needs to leave right now.
- “I-I can’t tell you. Its private. But I need to go see him. I think he tried to do something to himself and I think its because of something I did.”
- “What the fuck? What are you talking about?!”
- But its actually Dustin who shushes Lucas, pushes past him to help Will will up. He gives Will a long probing look and then rubs his shoulders a few times. “You’ll explain to us later right?”
- Will nods enthusiastically. “Cover for me?”
- Dustin smiles. “’Course bud.”
- And Will is flying. Well really, he wished he could fly. He pumps his legs as fast as they can go but it feels like he is riding through quicksand. So slow, what if its too late? What if Mike slips away from him?? He arrives at the hospital and in a daze demands the room number for Mike’s room. He doesn’t think he’s ever been so curt and rude in his life. But there is just no time.
- Until he’s in the doorway and he see’s the figure in the bed and BLESSED HALLELUJAH the figure turns to look at him with wide, surprised eyes. If Will’s cheeks weren’t already flushed from exertion he knows he would be blushing right now. But its almost like he doesn’t care.
- He rushes the bed. Thankfully there are no parents present but he thinks he would have done this even if they were.
- He pulls the boy on the bed into a hug. Clings to him. Lets desperate little cries creep out of his throat as he starts up a mantra of “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it, I’m sorry.”
- He feels some fingers come up and kind of pat at the back of his head. “Where the fuck did you come from?” They are the same words Mike said two nights ago, but the tone is so different, so gentle.
- “School?” Will answers lamely as he leans back into a standing position.
- Mike chuckles slightly. His eyes wandering to the corner of the room.
- “I heard about your accident. W-what... what happened?”
- Mike shrugged, still staring at the edge of the room. “Head trauma. I fell and my head hit the edge of the bathtub. It was stupid.”
- “Bullshit.”
- “What?”
- “I call bullshit. Tell me what really happened Mike.”
- Mike met his gaze and his face kind of looked like he had sucked on a lemon. “I’m telling the truth goddammit! That’s what happened!! Besides what difference does it make?! Does it really matter if I tell you that after you left I got stuck into a bottle of vodka? Or that I got it into my head to take a bunch of my mother’s sleeping pills? Or that I’m now on suicide watch and they won’t let me go home? No! It makes fuck-all difference! Its not like you care you fucking son of a bitch!”
- “Don’t be thick Mike. Of course I care. What do you think I’m doing here?!”
- It’s at this point that Karen Wheeler comes wandering through the room door, styrofoam coffee in hand and Mike just rounds on her. She looks stunned when she see’s Will standing beside her son’s bed. But Mike is having none of it.
- “Get the fuck out Karen! Out! Byers and I are having a conversation!”
- Karen’s mouth falls open at her son’s violent outburst but she retreats without saying a word.
- Mike watches her go then turns his icy gaze on Will. “Right. Like I was gonna say, I know exactly why you are here. It’s guilt. Guilt for what you... what you said right before you left. Don’t try and dress it up as anything else. You just feel like maybe I did it because of what you said.”
- “Well... did you?” Its probably the least tactful thing to say but Will is feeling a bit too raw from, well, from everything.
- Mike fiddles with the bandage on his head, avoiding eyecontact. “Don’t flatter yourself. I was thinking about killing myself way before your candyass came along.”
- “But why?! How-- how could you?”
- “Because I hate my life alright?! You have no idea what it is like to be me. I’m not a good person. I bring exactly nothing positive to this world. It’s like Nancy says, I’m rotten. Good for nothing. And apparently a faggot on top of it all!”
- Mike’s last sentence hangs in the air, sharp like a knife. Filling the room with a heavy tension. The unspoken truth that felt like it had been standing in the corner of the room of every single interaction that Mike and Will had had in the last month or so. Will had known this very thing for so long but to hear Mike speak it... to see from the look of miserable horror on his face how it was slowly tearing him apart. It broke Will’s heart.
- Slowly, carefully, like dealing with a spooked animal, Will sat in the chair beside the bed. “It’s called being gay Mike. And it’s not a bad thing.”
- “It’s-- it’s disgusting...” but even Mike sounded half-hearted and defeated, the words rasping out as though on autopilot.
- “Well. I’m gay. Do you think I’m disgusting?” Will regretted the question as soon as he said it. He knew the answer. Had had it spat at him on many occasions by this very person. Maybe it would feel different this time though, now that the real truth was out in the open for once. He braced himself for the hurt.
- “No...”
- Will eyes raised to find dark brown ones fixed upon his face.
“I-I don’t think you’re disgusting... I never did... I think you’re--”
- But he never got to finish that sentence. From outside the room both boys heard the hooting and hollering that could only be achieved by adolescent boys. Many adolescent boys.
- “WHEELER!
- “WE’RE COMING FOR YOU WHEELER!”
- “WHERE YOU AT YOU PUSSY?!”
- Will recognised the voices of some of the notable figures of the Hawkins High Senior Basketball team. They sounded close.
- He suddenly felt a bruising grip on his forearm where it was lying on the mattress. Stunned, he turned to see Mike staring at him, fear in his eyes.
- “Hide!” he hissed. “They can’t see you here. Quick, the bathroom.”
- Will is about to protest. Is getting ready to argue but Mike grips him harder, almost looking like he is about to cry. “Please Will.”
- Its probably the first time Mike has said his name in... well... years. And so Will quickly darts into the adjoining bathroom, glad for his forethought to grab his backpack too. It’s gotta only be seconds later, just as he is sliding the lock home that he hears the obnoxiously loud entrance of what must be about six people.
- “WHEELER!!”
- “HOW YOU DOING YA FAG!”
- “YOU LOOK LIKE SHIT!”
- “HEY THANKS FOR GIVING US AN EXCUSE TO CUT CLASS!”
- The comments are a-plenty. Will cringes as he takes a seat on the closed toilet seat lid. He almost feels ill when he hears Mike’s voice, so unlike the soft tone of just moments before, greeting his “friends”.
- The back and forth is not particularly interesting. Will quickly grows bored of it. Mike spews his story of slipping over in the bathroom again. One of the anonymous jocks accuses him of trying to suck his own dick and that’s how he fell. Another one asked what pain meds he’s on and whether he could score him some. And yet another truly romantic soul asks if it’s okay for him to claim Sally if Mike dies because apparently that “pussy is tight as shit”.
- Will rolled his eyes and gritted his teeth. He didn’t know how Mike could do this day in and day out. The Mike who guffawed along with those brainless wonders and slapped their hands in highfives and told them to “fuck off from my girl, that’s my piece of ass”... was so, so different from the Mike that sometimes would come out around Will. The Mike that reminded him achingly of the little nerd kid with the gap where his two front teeth should be and the lego Millennium Falcon figure that he had painstakingly put together all by himself. How... how was Mike not exhausted from the whole thing?? Having to act like that every, single day.
- Will can almost begin to understand how Mike’s path could have led him to where he was now. Will might not have an easy life, but at least he had people who truly loved and understood him. Who did Mike have...?
- Not one of his so-called friends have even asked how he’s feeling, whether he’s doing better. The closest they have gotten is asking him if he will be at practice this week, to which Mike answers “No. Doc says I have to take a break from basketball for awhile...” The responses range from “Fuck that!” to “You’re gonna get as soft as that Byers queer.”
- It makes Will mad. Not the comment about him. Just the fact that he’s the one hiding in he bathroom when its so glaringly evident that these boys don’t give a shit about Mike. He’s the one Mike doesn’t want to be seen with, like he’s some sort of disease. It’s not fucking fair!
- Eventually, Mike’s company leaves. Will hears Karen come back in for a moment and Mike sends her away again. Then he hears him call “You can come out now.”
- Will enters the room. He’s still feeling weird. He looks at the boy in front of him who is staring stubbornly back at him. Daring him to judge. I hate this boy, but I also kind of love him. But maybe that’s not the best thing for me... Will thinks forlornly.
- “You have shit friends.”
- “I know.”
- “They’re not real friends.”
- “I know.”
- You should not hang out with them anymore.”
- “I...”
- “You could come sit with me Lucas and Dusty again?”
- “Will...”
- “Just think about it. And you should... you should start writing again. Maybe keep a journal or something. Something to get all of those thoughts out of your head. I dunno...”
- “My therapist said the same thing.”
- “Hmm.”
- “Yeah...”
- Silence befalls them. Will sways in place, not really knowing what to do but feeling like he should do something.
- “You’re going to be okay you know.” he offers quietly, trying to sound confident in his words.
- “Sure.” Mike doesn’t seem convinced as he stares down at his blanketed lap, suddenly finding his fingers very interesting.
- “You are. Things are shitty right now. But...” Will inhales deeply, thrusting himself out into the open one last time. Giving the stupid boy in front of him a clear target to shoot him down once again. “... you have me alright? I’m here for you... if you want.”
- “Okay.” Mike doesn’t look up. But its something at least.
- “Okay... I’m gonna go...”
- “Okay...”
- Will gives an awkward wave, a hug seems a bit too much right now, and exits the hospital room. The interaction leaves an odd taste in his mouth, but deep down he knows he can only do so much. It’s up to Mike now. No more pushing.
- Mike is out of school for the rest of the week. Not that Will is looking out for him or anything. He doesn’t go back and visit him again, is not even sure if he’s been discharged from hospital or not. These days he’s living on faith a lot. Lucas and Dustin grill his ass and he tries to be honest with them. He doesn’t out Mike, but tells them pretty much everything else. They’re his best friends after all. They sit there with stunned expressions as the whole story unfolds.
- But that’s nothing compared to the looks on their faces on the following Monday when a nervous voice speaks from behind Will’s slumped form at the lunch table.
- “Can I sit here?”
- Will turns and is met with dark brown, hopeful eyes.
A.N. Ba-BAM! I have no idea what the fuck this was. And I am sorry for the weird formatting. Oh and the angst. Very sorry about that. But it would make my day if you would let me know what you thought! Thank you. Hope you enjoyed. :)

Note
I am absolutely begging you to write a sick Jonathan Byers fic if you have the time😭😭 I just finished the first season of stranger things yesterday and I’m so in love with the idea of him getting sick. Thank you!!!!
(Ya girl is back! My writing is a bit rusty, and a little shorter but hopefully that’s ok!! I love my boi Jonathan, and I love u guys; so lets hope this goes well! Takes place only a bit after S1, so no s2 spoilers here for u anon!! :) )
Jonathan cannot afford to get sick.
And when he says that, the phrase extends to have multiple meanings. A.) it means that Jonathan in a literal sense of the word, cannot afford to get sick. The Byers are not rich, medicine is costly, and they rely Jonathan’s wages from the cinema, so Jonathan cannot afford to be sick.
And B.) It means Jonathan can’t get sick because he has way too many responsibilities in his life to get sick. Jonathan has to be a good son. He needs to cook his family breakfast, do his chores, take Will to school, all to keep his family afloat. But most of all, Jonathan has to be a good big brother, especially after the whole debacle that had happened with Will. Will needed him more than ever, and Jonathan was going to assert every fibre of his being to make Will feel safe again. And to do that, he couldn’t be sick because that would mean he could not put every joule of his energy into Will.
and C.) Jonathan cannot look weak. It is only now that Jonathan for the first time has two people who genuinely do want to be around him, and it is only now that Jonathan is surrounded by people who make him feel safe, wanted and cared for. He cannot ruin anything he has with Nancy or Steve, because now that he’s had a taste of friendship, Jonathan doesn’t think he could return to the lonely world he once knew.
So when Jonathan wakes up Friday morning by an intense tickling in his nose, causing him to convulse in his bed with three harsh sneezes against his pillow, he feels a feeling of dread rise in his stomach.
When he rises out of bed and sat up, he was greeted by a pounding, splitting headache so painful it practically sweeps him; so hard that Jonathan could have fallen back over back into bed. Then he realised he cant breathe through his nose, and despite the little hot air he is breathing out and the hot flush he feels on his cheeks, he feels frozen.
As much as his soul cries out at him to stay in bed, and as much as he feels his heart reach for the bed and cling on for life, Jonathan’s brain knew he couldn’t stay. He weakly thrusts his aching, fevered body out of the comforts of his bed and steadies himself by grabbing onto his bedside table for dear life.
It seems like an eternity before the world stopped whizzing and whirling around like he was on some acid trip of a merry go round, but all things come to an end, even oddities like this. Jonathan weakly stumbles over to his door, his vision quite tunnelled, fading in and out with each throb of his head.
He doesn’t know how he made it out into the kitchen without falling over, but he does, despite the zig zagged direction he chose to take and the shaky nature of his legs, like jelly, about to succumb to his illness any moment now.
When Jonathan makes Will’s lunch he’s sloppy. His sandwich isn’t perfectly positioned and when he cooks breakfast he shakes and the fried egg ends up an odd shape. When he pours the orange juice into the glass he spills some over, because his hand can’t stop to tremor and his entire body is racked by the freezing temperatures only he seems to notice.
What Jonathan also doesn’t notice is that Joyce has flown into the room and has immediately noticed his current state. And she is Joyce, so naturally she fusses and she beelines for the thermometer and shoves it in his mouth. Jonathan protests of course but she’s Joyce, and she doesn’t  lose.
And before he knows it he is being hoisted to bed by his feisty mother and Jonathan is defeated.
In his feverish haze time doesn’t pass quite right and he’s not quite sure what time it is but he hears a gentle knock on the door, to this rhythm so familiar it brings Jonathan back to his senses, and he knows it’s Will. He always knocked on his door with his own little rhythm since he was little, Jonathan would know it anywhere.
“Yeah, come in,” He rasped out, his voice so rough he cringed, resembling nails against a chalkboard.
His little brother tiptoed in carefully as not to further his headache or anything to upset his weakened body; he was always thoughtful like that, and Jonathan loved him for it. He was proud of him always.
“Hi Jon,” Will whispered lowly, a sweet smile spread across his lips.
“Mom told me you were sick so I brought you these,” He continued as he set down a box of tissues, the mix tape Jonathan had made for him and a R2D2 stuffed toy.
“The Artoo toy always makes me feel better so hopefully it can do the same for you,” Will said as Jonathan gave him a smile, although weak, still bright, as Will always made his day a little brighter.
“And your mixtape always makes me happy, so I’m hoping it can make you happy too,” Will grinned as he placed the tape into a player.
“You’re the best Will,” Jonathan grinned softly as he turned on his side to face him, before his face contorted and he quickly retreated into his pillow to muffle three vicious sneezes that leeched him off his remaining energy. He groaned softly.
Will frowned as he leaned in to feel his forehead, pushing the hair out of his face, “You’re not feeling great, are you?”
Jonathan chuckled weakly, his voice congested and deep, and he was sent into a brief coughing fit, turning away from him to cough into his arm. Once he recovered, he sniffled and wiped his irritated tears away, forcing a smile, “I’ve felt better.”
He leaned in to ruffle his hair and bat him playfully on the cheek, “Now go away to school, you don’t want to catch this.”
Will chuckled and hit him back, “I’m sure it’s better than listening to Mrs.Leahy drone on and on.”
Jonathan made a monstrous noise to scare him and jabbed at his stomach to tickle him, “Raaaarrrghhhh! The plagues gonna get you!”
Will giggled and ran away.
Jonathan couldn’t help the wife, bright smile that spread across his lips. That laugh could save the world. And to think just a two months ago he thought he’d never hear it again, was terrifying. Hearing it made him immediately feel just a bit together.
Jonathan doesn’t remember much but he knows he managed to drift off to a feverish sleep halfway through one of Pink Floyd’s songs, and now he’s waking up to a splitting headache and he feels like he’s burning alive but he can’t stop shaking either, and waves of blistering hot crash through him followed by a tidal wave of freezing cold leaves him curling up within himself.
He feels dreadful, and his body feels so heavy and weak and he genuinely wants to cry out because everything hurts too much. When Jonathan coughs its chesty and raspy, each cough pressing daggers into his lungs. He whimpers in pain as he tries to brave through it.
When the pain simmers down enough Jonathan becomes aware of the knocking at the door. The knocking is too much for his overstimulated brain and it’s too much for him to handle and an electrifying spark of pain causes his head to throb repeatedly. He whimpers again but somehow he pushes himself off of his bed.
When he stands a wave of nausea hits him and his vision fades into black. Jonathan feels so light and he can feel the sickeningly haunting pit in his stomach as he free falls. He pulls himself off of the ground and his legs shake and he can barely walk as he is shaking too much, and his vision is fading in and out but he grabs onto the walls to try and get there.
It’s a long and treacherous journey but he makes it, and at the end of the tunnel is a beam of light, because when he opens the door it reveals a worried looking Steve and Nancy.
He’s too shocked to reply, and his brain is way too slow to say anything so he can do is cling onto the door frame and shake. Nancy and Steve are the same and are too horrified at how awful he probably looks and shame pulsates throughout him. But Jonathan can’t dwell on it too long because he’s bursting into another harsh coughing fit that doubles him over, each cough causing his head to throb and lungs to scream in pain. He clings onto the door frame to support himself and he feels so faint and weak he can feel himself losing control.
Just before he slips from the door frame and falls, Steve is lunging in to catch him, supporting him so he can finish coughing, rubbing his back comfortingly. And when he finishes Steve slings Jonathan’s arm over his shoulder and the look Steve gives him is so kind that it melts him all over.
His eyes are so kind and so filled with care, “Hey bud, you okay there?”
Jonathan nods and sniffles, groaning as a tickle flares within his sinuses and he pushes away slightly to violently sneeze twice into his elbow.
“Bless you Jon,” Nancy says sympathetically, quickly caressing his face. “We need to get you back into bed.”
She slings his arm around her shoulder too and they get him back, gently laying him down on his bed. She tucks him into the blanket and hops onto bed with him to feel his forehead, and Jonathan can see the panic flash in her eyes.
“Steve, Steve he’s burning up!” Nancy said worriedly, trying not to sound too frantic.
“I’ll get him a cold towel,” Steve replied, trying to disguise the worry in his voice as he went off to the kitchen.
“Why are you here?” Jonathan asked feverishly, his voice weak and barely audible.
She gave him a small smile and started to play with his hair, brushing it out of his face, gazing at him sweetly, “We were looking for you. We couldn’t find you so we asked Will and he said you were sick, so we skipped class and ended up here.”
Jonathan’s eyes twinkled with adoration, his eyes watering as he felt so cared for, “You..were looking for me? You didn’t have to skip class just for me.”
Nancy looked a little taken aback, “Jon..of course we were looking for you. You’re our friend. We care about you.”
“Really?” Jonathan asked in disbelief, his voice cracking as he was unable to comprehend the fact that anyone actually cared for him bar his family. It left his heart soaring.
Steve returned with a damp towel in his hands. He climbed atop Jonathan’s bed and gently laid the towel on his forehead. He smiled softly and started to massage his temples, “God Jon, you’re really sick, huh?”
Jonathan nodded but pushed away as a sudden tickle itched at his nose, so abrupt he hadn’t had time to build up to it or warn Steve, with only time to turn his head away and aim away from them, sneezing two loud and violent sneezes that leeched him off his remaining energy.
Steve frowned and reached for a tissue and wiped at Jonathan’s nose for him, “Bless you buddy, you feeling okay?”
Nancy offered him a sympathetic smile and climbed in next to him and comfortingly leaned against him, playing with his hair.
And suddenly in that moment Jonathan is hit by the revelation that he is surrounded by two of the kindest people he has ever met. When he looks at Nancy he sees the softest, sweetest gaze looking upon him with so much care, and each stroke of her fingers against his messy hair is tender and loving. He looks over at Steve who is watching over with him ever so bravely, ever so determined to keep him safe. Jonathan has never felt this safe, so secure, so loved in his life.
It feels so good that it fills every ounce of him with sunlight and starlight and everything beautiful, and he is then hit with another revelation. A revelation that crushes him to his core; the realisation that should he lose it he doesn’t think he’ll be the same because now he would be aware of the void. And this won’t last; Jonathan knows it. It’s not possible that he’d be loved like this. No one ever has really before.
Jonathan can’t even stop himself, and his lip is wobbling and his eyes are watering and before he can even put the walls he has built with such an endeavour back up again tears are spilling from his eyes.
“Jonathan?” Nancy asked, alarmed by the sudden tears.
Jonathan aggressively tries to wipe his tears away, but new ones keep replacing the ones he’s gotten rid of, and eventually Jonathan realises that all attempts are futile, and his walls have broken down.
“Hey, what’s going on bud?” Steve asked reassuringly, taking Jonathan’s other side that Nancy isn’t already at and wrapping an arm around him.
“Its just, no ones ever done this for me besides my mom and my brother,” Jonathan hiccuped, trying to stop his sobs.
Nancy softened and pressed a soft kiss into his hair, “And we’ll do it again.”
Jonathan shook his head, “No, no you won’t.”
Steve furrowed his brow, “What do you mean?”
Jonathan sobbed and sniffled, causing him to cough harshly into his fist, “You won’t. Because I’ve built these walls around myself and hidden the parts of me I don’t like, and now they’re down you’ll see me for who I really am and you won’t like me anymore, and I’m going to be alone again.”
Jonathan loathed the silence that ensued.
“Jon..we’re not going to do that, ever,” Nancy promised, reaching for his hands and holding them in her own, eyes bright and so sure.
Steve tightened his grip around Jonathan and pressed a kiss against his temple, “You are never going to be alone again, Jon. We’re here now.”
“You won’t like what you see,” Jonathan whispered softly.
“I think it’s you who doesn’t Jonathan, not us,” Steve said gently.
“Are the walls down now, Jonathan?” Nancy asked softly.
“Yes,” He whispered with shame.
Nancy kissed his cheek softly, “I still love you.”
Steve nodded, “As do I. I think you need to start loving you too.”
It would take a while, but Steve and Nancy would be there every step of the way.
They never left his side that night, connected for the first time really.
And they would be for a long time.

Cont. On Luis Ruiz case & now I need help with another.. .
As I watch now how the ditrict attorney's & the police force are doing things it reminds me of how much more corrupt are system can be.. , Many people are being charged falsely, or with too harsh a punishment of prison for one mistake which could of not been something you realized even. But then there are those who are let go for something simular, .. or even worse, just because of thier status. Who decides fair punishment for the crime.. ? Peoples lives are not for sake of politics.
Let me tell you about a case I worked on because back then I was too messed up with not believing that there could be such a thing as police conspiracies. When I wrote what i wrote on the internet it was solely because I knew that arrest was wrongly done & somehow I felt like I needed to speak up.
In the Luis Ruiz case the system falsified the evidence that they blasted all over T.V. announcing that they had. This was to show the public they had a reason for that arrest & if you make people believe it then you can usually get away with it . !. They knew that it was fake & at one point i know this led all the way up to the District Attorney office & David Prater himself.. who even signed those papers & gave them that warrent for arrest knowing these facts.
During this case does anyone remember the story i had written in "'before the news'".? The one titled "Investigate this" & it shares the fact that on that date that girl was killed that Luis Ruiz was incarcerated & that the reason i knew of this was.., because i had actually learnt that from the Bethany officers themselves before they arrested Luis for that murder.".
In that case I had learnt that the reason it goes from one place the girl killed., to another place the girl was supposedly killed at., is because the cops were raiding houses & busting them without warrents by using that case for the reason they were able to so. (Because they have to make it look good to the public). Whoever thinks just because its on the news then its true, is stupid,.
At one point I knew that everyone knew these facts listed on that arrest warrent were fake & there was none of those things they stated they had, but yet they were not letting him out of jail.. Luis told me that they told him that they could not let him out until after elections. Come to find out that David Prater at that moment was fighting a case they called the tea party event & it included Luis Ruiz's lawyer, David Chance,.. I guess they needed this case to help that & I guess everything the government does is really for elections.
When they arrested someone for that murder they stated there was evidence which was not there & that warrent was still signed by our District Attorney David Prater. In order for David Prater to save his ass they fired those 2 police officers but I am sure they get paid leave. Because thats how the government works. Its all politics.
The government & the news is about manipulating the public for thier own power & they keep themselves up but also keep the lower class down. This is what that causes.
While I was working on this case I ended up broke down in front of this house of an old friends I had not seen in awhile. As I walked up to the gate a girl asked me if I was Stacy & she told me what happened in that case. But thats a different story.. . Although I remember one thing she stated & that was that the original detective, who worked the original case, & who spoke to all the witnesses in the beginning; had known everything but it all seemed to have disappeared. This girl also stated that she herself had been out to speak to the parents of Carina Saunders & she also said that Carina's own cousin set her up.
This leads me to the other.., they are sending people to prison for messing up once & deciding they dont care for someone & giving them sentences they dont deserve. I have a friend who been in trouble once. They sent him to 18 months in R.I.D. & recently he got a simple possession charge, (& it was after the July 1st change of law to a misdemeanor), but yet he is being offered 15 years in prison right now. That is 15 years of ones life. Does a bondsmen who was caught do drugs really look at 15 years time & I think not.. ,
We have attorney's with D.U.I's & thats mentioned in the article called the 'tea party event' when they began to investigate the Ditrict Attorney & his actions. The reason he was being taken to court himself was not only the tea party event, but it had to do with the friends of his with power getting away with crimes & not having to serve any sentence. So is that fair.. ? (https://ymlp.com/zAFher)
Recently, someone I DO CARE about greatly was arrested & thats the case I need your help with. The police here are always wanting him & he is 42 years old now & spent his entire adult life in prison. Each time he is released they make sure he goes back. And the reason they hate him is because of something he was involved in back in 1995 when he was barely 18 years old. Him & a friend were running from police & his friend got into a shooting match with the officer. I think the officer got shot & I have heard officers mention it a time or two when Richard first had got out of prison this time. Richard was never the one who shot the cop; but he was still part of that case. Richard has spent about 4 years now, of his adult life, actually out of prison & I am determined to either watch him go back for doing more than just drugs, or keep him outta there altogether.
About 5 months ago we had both been stopped when 4 cop cars came rushing in the front of us. They came in all at once & we had not even seen them coming. They jumped out & pulled guns & had us put our hands up. They told me that they just wanted to talk to him & put me in one car & him in another. Not very long after I was in back of car they were about to let me go an officer supposedly found a rather large bag of meth which was many many feet away from where we were even arrested at that moment. They tried to get me to say it was his. Otherwise, they told me, I would be arrested for possession also & we were both going to jail. I was scared & cried, but I cant lie on something that I never seen to be true; & so they arrested me & him on that possession charge. Of course they came early next morning & released me, & the officer at the jail who walked me down to book out actually told me that they decided not to file charges. That was odd. But they kept him. They even mentioned to him at his arraignment that they decided to let me go & weren't keeping my charges. Of course I fought those charges as well.
The Sante Fe police division told me once that they were gonna make sure that he went back to prison. At that time they had & he went back for 5 years. Its shows Burgalery 2 but really it was just grabbing a toolbox out of the back of a truck. Got caught with drugs twice but 5 years for grabbing a toolbox.? This actually happens alot & too many people. He has been out almost a year now, or 10 months really, & has been doing good & working alot. We been together 7 months of the 10 he has been out. We split up about 2 months before his arrest.
What happened this time is somebody we know got a truck, supposedly, she told me that it was from her ex-mexican husband she says. We watched her driving this truck for atleast 2 days time. He had rode along with her a few times, as well as others I know. That afternoon after leaving my place, I guess she allowed him to drop her off & take the truck someplace. Right after he left from her he stopped at the nearby gas station to pump gas & while he was inside the store the cops approached him & asked if he driving that truck. They handcuffed him, searched him, & arrested him, although he said he wasn't driving that truck. He was not pulled over in it., nor seen driving it by the officer.; but yet he was busted immediately & handcuffed before even leaving that store. When they searched him they found this credit card & when she had handed him a card that morning before he left, she said it was hers, but now it wasn't. The names of those mentioned is Esther Richter who prostitutes near SE 44th & Byers ave., & Officer Luna of the Sante Fe task force.
As the officer arrested him he stated that he was going to give him the highest charge possible & got him for trafficking of illegal drugs although it was really a simple possession. It was just one sack he had & he had no other signs for even selling drugs.., let alone trafficking them. The sack was on his person & not even in the vehicle. But is it even legal to handcuff a person & search them for supposedly driving a stolen truck which they were not even in, or seen driving it niether..? There was other people in the line at that time & why did the officer not pick one of them?
Whats worse is that I am starting to think it was literally a set-up & the reason I began to think this was a set-up is when I looked to find the truck owner though the address listed on the police paperwork, & I went there, it was an empty place. I asked the apartment people how long that place been empty & it had been a minute. They said people all the time fake thier addresses to police officers.., but how & why would the victim fake the address if he wanted his truck back.? And when you call to report it stolen they ask for your address & they tell you they will send an officee out to make that report. So where did that officer go for that report to be made & shouldn't that be the address listed.. !
Its bad enough to get caught in a stolen ride which you had no earthy idea about it, but its even worse when the cops set it up so they can take you down. I have asked Esther many times about that truck & she everytime begins to act crazy & says the same thing about it. When I ask where she got it from.., she still says it is hers.
This guy I speak about is now locked away in Oklahoma county & he is a good man. His name is Richard Urrutia & I will share this story & fihht this case until its dropped. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO TO ADD OR KNOWLEDDGE, OR HELP MAYBE.. .. .

The Byers’ house was fuller than normal, with a group of kids running around to make plans to take down an out-of-this-world monster, while me and Steve chased after them to talk them out of it. When the other’s had left, me and Steve took on the responsibility of watching over all of the kids, and so far it wasn’t going very well. Not to mention, my head was spinning with a raging headache that was caused from thinking so hard on the day before. Before I found myself in the Byers’ home with the new knowledge of this so called “Mindflayer”, I was just a normal teenager who had a fairly normal life. Normal parents, a normal sister, a normal boyfriend— well, I guess Billy wasn’t all that normal. But when I met him, I tried my very hardest to help him become better than his father and defeat this anger inside of himself. Our relationship started with a strong friendship when we instantly connected. I don’t think either of us expected that we would start dating, because at first we both swore that we would never grow too attached. I guess he didn’t want to hurt me.
But, that promise didn’t last long, and soon after he asked me out. The first few times he asked me, I said no. And each time I said no, he tried harder. He would bring me flowers— granted, they were stolen— he would lean over me when I would sit at my desk between periods, and he would stand close to me as he pressed me against the lockers before and after school. I don’t know how it was I held out for so long before giving in and saying yes. After that, we were definitely inseparable, and our relationship only grew stronger, and when he was around me, I saw a real change in his personality. Billy was desperately trying to be better than his father and not take out his built up feelings on others. To say I was proud of him, was an understatement.
Yet, all that thinking about him and how I didn’t want him caught up in this big mess, made my head hurt and distracted me from watching over the kids. I was blindly following them around the house, not really paying attention, until I saw out of the corner of my eye car headlights shining through the living room windows. There was the familiar engine revering up to the house that really caught my interest, and both me and Max ran to the window. Though Billy didn’t exactly get along with Max, I thought of her as my little sister. But as we both approached the window, I had a smile attached to my face, while she had a look of fright. Soon, it dawned on me that if he came into the house, he’d instantly be wrapped up in all of this, and I didn’t want that.
“It’s my brother…” Max whispered. “He’ll kill me if he finds out that I’m here.”
I turned to Steve, “You have to get him to go away,” I told him. “He can’t know about any of this.” Our attention was brought back to the window when his car’s tires came to a screeching halt and he turned off the ignition.
“Stay here, all of you,” Steve said as he opened the door and went outside.
Billy climbed out of the car and slammed the door shut, “Where is she, Harrington?” he said loudly, almost demanding— no, not almost… definitely demanding.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Steve lied.
Billy chuckled, “You know, I’ve been looking for my girl all day. I just wanted to spend some time with her, maybe take her out on a good, honest date. But, I couldn’t find her. Then, I find out that no one can find my bitch of a stepsister, Max. And what a damn fine coincidence it is that I hear they’re hiding out here with you. Now, I trust my girl, she’s loyal to me, I know that— but the thing is, amigo, I don’t trust you, and there lies our problem. So, if you don’t want this to go sideways, and want me to leave peacefully, I suggest you tell them to come out here, and I’ll be on my way.”
Steve shook his head, trying to keep his cool. And for a quick moment I contemplated giving myself up and going outside, but when Max said next convinced me to stay hidden. “What is it that you see in him?” she asked me.
I glanced over at her, “I see the good in him.”
Lucas laughed, “What good? He’s a douchebag.”
“Maybe on the outside, but deep down— once you get to really know him— he’s just pure hearted.”
“Listen, man, I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve never seen your little sister in my life, and I’ve never talked to [y/n],” Steve lied again. He was trying to protect us, but I feared about what Billy might do if he found out Billy was lying.
Billy nodded, trying to think of what to say next, and stomped out his cigarette. “Tell me, Harrington. Do you lie often? Because, you say you’ve never met them before, yet I see them right there.” Billy pointed to us, having seen all of sitting on the couch watching them.
The kids immediately tried to hide, but instead, I ran for the door. “Billy!” I called, running to him, but he didn’t embrace me like he usually would. With a shaky breath, I said to him, “Just leave, Billy… Max is fine, I’ll bring her home when we’re done here.”
Billy hit the roof of his car angrily, making me jump. “You know I can’t do that. My dad… he’ll kill me if I go home without her.”
“Tell him she’s sleeping over at my house, and I’ll explain everything to him in the morning.” I tried to find a solution, while also trying to find any empathy in his eyes.
“Are you screwing him?” Billy suddenly asked, lowering his gaze to his feet. “Is that what this is? Are you screwing Harrington behind my back?”
I gasped, unable to believe that he would ask me such a question. Only minutes ago had he told Steve that he trusted me, but in a matter of seconds I saw that trust leave him. “No. Billy, I would never, you know that. I love you.” I tried to press a hand to his cheek to get him to look at me, but he slapped my hand away.
“Hey!” Steve erupted, stepping between us. “Don’t you ever touch her like that again.”
Suddenly, Billy looked up and knocked Steve over and kicked him in the stomach. “Don’t talk to me like that, Harrington.” Billy kicked Steve again. “I’m going to take my dumb, redheaded bitch of a stepsister, and leave. You can either stay down or fight me. Either way, I will leave here with Max.” Steve stayed on the ground, and for a moment as Billy stepped over Steve, I feared that he would let Billy take Max. And I was too paralyzed to move after watching Billy be that way with me. Everything we had both worked so hard to reverse in him, instantly came back out of jealousy and fear. “You stay here, [y/n]. I’m not done with you, yet.” Billy walked into the house, swinging the door open to reveal all of the kids, looking as frightened as ever.
I leaned down and helped Steve to his feet, “Are you okay?” Steve nodded, catching his balance before falling into me. “We have to get Billy out of here.” Steve nodded again, and walked by himself through the door with me following right behind him.
As we entered the house, I heard Billy shout, “You’re so dead, Sinclair!”
Steve didn’t hesitate to run to the kitchen where Billy was, and grab at Billy’s shirt. “Get away from him, you son of a bitch.” I watched as Steve punched Billy right in the nose, and Lucas ran into his friends’ arms. Billy laughed at Steve’s punch as his nose bled, dripping onto the carpet.
Then, Steve just kept hitting and hitting, and Billy let him. Instantly, I felt tears well up in my eyes as the kids cheered on Steve. Billy’s nose got worse and his lip split and started bleeding. When he was backed into the sink, I knew what was about to happen. “Billy, no!” I yelled. But it was too late. Billy grabbed a plate behind him and smashed it over Steve’s head. “Billy stop it!” I cried, “Stop!” Tears were streaming down my face as they fought around the kitchen, Dustin pulled me out of the way at the last second before Steve nearly ran into me. “Billy!” I cupped my hands over my mouth to try and stop my crying, but it only got worse as I sobbed when Max attached herself to me. “Stop it!” I continued as Billy kicked Steve onto the floor and jumped onto him. “Billy! You’re scaring me! Stop! Billy! Enough, Billy!” I ran to him, trying to pull him off of Steve, but he pushed me back, hardly even recognizing what he was doing or that it was me he had pushed. I looked down at Max who was shaking, holding something in her hand. In her hand, she had a needle. “What is that?” I asked through the tears.
Max turned and pointed behind her at a bottle on the counter. “Morphine.”
“Give it to me,” I said, holding out my hand. Max dropped the syringe into my hand and I gripped it hard. I neared Billy slowly, grabbing the syringe properly as I prepared for what would come next. “Billy… Stop it, please… You’re scaring me…” I tried to give him one more chance, but he ignored me. Trying to compose myself and slow down my heavy breathing, I held the syringe up, and without a second thought, I plunged it into Billy’s neck. After it happened, I realized what I had done, and stumbled back out of shock. Billy instantly turned and stood up, looking at me with as though he had been betrayed. “I’m so sorry…”  I cried, reaching for him.
“[y/n]?” he asked before he collapsed. I tried to catch his head before it hit the ground. Crouched down, with his head in my hands, he looked up at me and laughed, “I knew you had a fire in you, babes…”
I looked up at Max who grabbed Steve’s famous bat and threw it over her shoulder. “Billy, from here on out, you leave me and my friends alone, understand?”
Billy groaned, trying to keep his eyes open. “Screw you, brat.”
All of us, excluding the drugged Billy and threatening Max, flinched when she slammed down the bat just between Billy’s legs, fairly close to his crotch. “I said, understand?!” she yelled. “And, until further notice, you leave [y/n] alone.”
Billy shook his head, “I’ll stay away from you and your friends, but I’m never leaving [y/n]...” I sobbed at his words, combing my fingers through his curls to try and get him calm. “I won’t leave her ever again…” Though, he was totally drugged out and unaware of what he was saying, I knew he meant it.
“Max, we have to go,” Mike whispered, not wanting her to aim the bat at him. Max relaxed, and turned to the boys. “Now.” She nodded.
“We have to grab Steve, guys. If Billy wakes up, he’ll murder him,” Dustin said. They all agreed, walking over to the bruised and bloodied, passed out Steve. “[y/n]? Are you going to help?”
I watched as Billy fell asleep in my arms, and I sat down, bringing his head into my lap. “No,” I responded. “I’ll be here for when he wakes up. Maybe I can calm him down.”
“Guys, we have no way of getting there,” Lucas interrupted. I dug the keys out of Billy’s pocket and tossed them at Max. “Are you insane?”
I shook my head, “No. I’ve driven with Max before, I trust her. As long as you stay under the speed limit and don’t crash the car, we won’t have any problems. Besides, I don’t want Billy to be driving when he wakes up, so this will be a good excuse. Now, go.” The boys quickly went to pick up Steve and carry him out of the house. Mike and Lucas each took an arm, and Dustin took both of his legs.
When they were nearly out the door, Max came over to me. “Do you still see the good in him?” she asked me.
Without looking at her, I said, “Just leave, Max.” She turned and left the house, closing the door behind her. I looked down at Billy, still combing my fingers through his hair. “Babe… I thought you were better. You had come so far, and I thought you were different. Maybe I was in over my head. Maybe you can’t be fixed and Max is right. Maybe you don’t have any good in you like I hoped you did.” But I refused to believe what I was saying. Deep down, somewhere in that blackened heart of his, Billy Hargrove was good, and I was still determined to show that.
Four Hours Later
I had fallen asleep leaning against the couch with Billy’s head cradled in my lap. It had been a long night, and I knew that it would take a while for him to gain consciousness. I tried to stay awake as long as I could, but my headache and drowsiness from crying got the better of me and knocked me out pretty fast. But I woke up just as fast when Billy gasped for air, sitting up quickly, as he woke up. I was startled by this, thinking that the demodogs may have returned, but I calmed down when I realized what had happened.
Alarmed, Billy turned to me. I saw a tear fall down his cheek as he saw me. My hair was undoubtedly tangled and my eyes were puffy from crying so much. “Oh, my god…” he whispered, crawling away from me. “I did this. I’m— I’m a monster.” Billy tucked his legs to his chest. “I— I hurt you… And Steve… What was that? That wasn’t me…” Billy tried to hide his tears from me, but I knew better, and seeing him hurt like that brought tears to my eyes, too. “I’m such a fucking monster.”
My heart shattered watching him. “No, you’re not, Billy… It’s just, I thought we had gotten past this. What happened?”
Billy shrugged. “I— I don’t know. I thought that you and Steve… I was just jealous of him, and angry with both him and you.”
“But you know that I’d never cheat on you, Billy. Come on.”
“I know… God, I’m so sorry. I know you can never forgive me.”
“You’re wrong, Billy.” He looked up at me. “I can forgive you. It’ll take time, but I know in my heart that I can forgive you. And you will get better. I promise.” I crawled over to him, pulling his legs down so that he wasn’t guarding himself from me. He shivered at my touch, scared to be near me after what had happened, but I wasn’t scared. “I love you, Billy Hargrove. But, you really have to try for me if we’re going to keep doing this.”
“I know, I know. I will. I’m sorry I scared you. God, I love you.” He leaned forward carefully and placed a hand against my cheek. Cautious to catch any of my signals, Billy slowly brought his lips to mine. “I want to get better, I really do. I don’t want to be like my dad anymore.” I leaned in and kissed him. He pulled away, “I don’t deserve you.” I ignored him and kissed him again.

Tumblr media
With much of us cooped up in our residences as well as divided from our friends and family, it can be a very grim time. Fortunate for us, there s lots of holiday magic to be located this Christmas. Netflix launched a ton of wonderful Xmas original movies as well as collection. So if you sanctuary t yet saw the lengthy awaited final thought to the Christmas Prince trilogy, A Royal Infant, here's your chance    Kristin Davis plays a mommy who plans a charming trip to Africa with her husband after their son heads away to college. Unfortunately for her, her husband selects a divorce rather. Certainly Davis determines to go to Africa anyway, probably to Eat Pray Love her impending separation blues away. And also considered that it s a holiday film, the chances seem astronomically high that she s misting likely to fall for Rob Lowe, that plays her pilot on her leg to Zambia. Additionally, Netflix guarantees us there are child elephants. netflix americana Captivate your brain with the coolest information from streaming to superheroes, memes to computer games. Snowstorm on Xmas Eve? Check. Secondary school seniors? Examine. An essential party to go to as well as a swiped keg? Inspect. If this isn t Xmas Superbad fulfills every John Hughes film ever, I ll be extremely let down. Kiernan Shipka will ideally be playing some sort of blonde Molly Ringwald. This animated initial originates from Despicable Me co-creator Sergio Pablos and also includes a fantastic actors of voice actors consisting of Jason Schwartzman, Rashida Jones as well as J.K. Simmons. It s additionally regarding a postal staff member, however I m going to provide it the benefit of the doubt that it s full with Xmas magic. Vanessa Hudgens ends up being pals with a medieval knight that winds up in present-day Ohio. I m presuming this is going to be a Christmas-version of Kate & Leopold, which I m entirely OK with. Plus, Emmanuelle Chriqui co-stars and also the tween lady in me is very thrilled to see if she s still as beautiful as she remained in Snow Day. A radio DJ widower and also daddy of 4 loses his task right prior to Xmas, due to the fact that obviously they live in a world loaded with uncaring beast human beings. Chances are high this is misting likely to be the biggest tearjerker on the checklist. If you haven t seen A Christmas Royal prince or the sequel A Xmas Prince: The Royal Wedding celebration, quit what you're doing and also instantly go watch them. The movies concentrate on Amber, a reporter that openly lies to the international leaders of the imaginary country Adevia which I m pretty sure would be illegal? Yet Netflix doesn’t appear too worried about exactly how laws work in Adevia and also winds up weeding their royal prince. In the second flick, they obtain wed. This time around they're having a baby. Sorry for the looters. Vanessa Hudgens stars as not one yet two characters-- and also of course, among them is a princess. Taking ideas from Mark Twain s The Royal prince and the Destitute, The Princess Change sees skilled baker Stacy replace Girl Margaret Delacour, Duchess of Montenaro, that s hopeless for break of the limelight. But things obtain made complex along with pleasant, lovely as well as all that great stuff, when she discovers a regular life may be a long-term dream. If you like it, take a look at The Princess Change: Switched Again. The politest, loveliest and also most delightfully British show in the affordable cooking scene is true blessing us with one more holiday. It s difficult to state what I'm most excited about, but it ll probably be co-host Noel Fielding s outstanding outfits. The rainbow sweatshirt in the coupon image is everything. Cant wait till Nov. for your British Baking solution? Don t sweat. The present season is still streaming new episodes every Friday. What a gorgeous calamity of a show. I cannot wait for Nicole Byer s Christmas themed jokes and all the horrible looking Santas in store for us. Plus, this period has a multitude of hilarious celebrity judges, from Maya Rudolph to Jason Matsoukis. Dennis Quaid is playing a character called Don Quinn. I'm not also going to inform you what the story s about. I just want you to invest the rest of your day questioning if he was used the role due to the fact that it s so similar to his own name, if Quaid had Netflix change the character s name to another comparable to his, or if it's a complete coincidence. When I finally get a possibility to see Merry Happy Whatever, I expect to invest the whole duration of the film disputing this very important inquiry. Netflix additionally declares the personality highly thinks there's the Quinn way ... and the upside-down. What does it all imply? Please feel free to tweet me your conspiracy theory concepts now. A Christmas-themed period of Sugar Thrill? Yes please! Netflix has made certain we ll have lots of food preparation reveals to enjoy this holiday, and I'm right here for it. This season includes a number of guest courts, consisting of Tiffani Thiessen and also Olympic gold medallist Meryl Davis.

Mike Wheeler Visits the Upside Down
Like every year, around October, in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, someone has to go missing, someone has to die, or a monster comes and takes over the smallest boy in town.
It had been 2 years since all of this had started. Will Byers went missing 2 years ago, and was basically dead. Mike Wheeler met Eleven, now Jane Hopper, 2 years ago.
Last year, after Eleven had completly gone missing, and then was reunited with Mike and the rest of the party, Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair, Will Byers, and now Max Mayfield, Chief of Police, Jim Hopper, adopted Eleven and she was renamed Jane Hopper.
Jane and Max didnt become friends right away like Max had hoped. Whenever they would all hangout together, Jane would always ignore Max, Mike had gotten used to Max after she illegally drove Billy's car. Eventually, the boys got tired of Jane ignoring Max, and they locked them in Mike's basement until they sorted through their problems. Max didnt have a problem with Jane, it was Jane who had the problem. She didnt like the fact that there was another girl hanging out with the boys. She wasnt jelous of Max, Jane just thought she was being replaced. Max explained everything, and how she wanted to be friends with Jane, and that she was getting tired of just hanging out with these boys all the time. By the time the boys unlocked the door and came down the stairs, Jane was braiding Max's long red hair.
On October 15th, Mike was walking home from Lucas' house, which is where they had decided to play Dungeons and Dragons that night. Mike would be walking with Jane, but she wasnt allowed to go to Lucas' because her dad didnt know the Sinclair's that well, and Hopper was pretty protective of Jane, because of what she can do, and he doesnt want to lose another daughter, so she isnt allowed out that late either.
So Mike was walking by himself, late at night, on Murkwood. Mike was hesitant to take this road, but it was the quickest way and he had to be home in 5 minutes. Everytime he heard a slight sound, he jumped, because this was the road Will Byers went missing on 2 years ago.
Mike cupped his cold hands around his mouth, breathing warm air into his hands, and cursinf himself for forgetting his gloves. Mike looked into the woods, and his heart dropped as he saw a combination of trees that looked like a 9 foot tall Demogorgan. Mike walked faster, his feet hurting and his legs aching in the cold. His eyes were shifting everywhere, making sure there were no monsters coming for him.
"C'mon Mike," Mike whispered to himself under his breath, a small cloud of white fog escaping his lips. "You seriously cant be sacred of monsters." He forced a laugh. Mike thought about it for a while, before he actually began laughing loud. "Jane closed the gate," he laughed to himself. "There's no way a-" A low growl was heard behind him. "Th-theres no w-way there c-could be any monsters out h-here." Mike slowly turned towards where he heard the sound from and his heart stopped, then sped up.
There, only about 10 feet away from him, stood the ugliest thing he had ever seen. A tall, thin, naked monster stoof infront of him. Its face opened and it looked like a flower, but there were many many teeth. A demogorgan. Mike was frozen in place, he tried not to move, thinking that if je doesnt move, it wont attack. The demogorgan stood there, making low growls, staring at Mike with its ugly teeth-flower face.
Mike slowly moved his leg behind him. Trying to slowly inch his way away from the demogorgan. His heart was beating so fast against his ribcage, and his breathing was low, but quick. His palms were sweating, and he had tears stinging in his eyes. Mike had managed to move away from the demogorgan a few feet, and he started moving faster, before, of course, he stepped on a waterbottle, that someone had must have thrown out of their car, and it made the loudest crunching sound. Mike looked down at his foot, and felt his heart drop. He slowly looked up at the demogorgan. It lunged at him, causing Mike to jump back and fall on his back.
"No, no, no, no." Mike repeated, looking at the demogorgan who was running towards him. Mike stumbled to get up, but did, nd immediatly started running down the street, not looking back, and only focusing on what was infront of him. Mike didnt trip, like all actors do in a movie when they are running away from a murderer. He didnt trip, but of course, he demogorgan having much longer legs that him, and being a monster, was much faster than Mike, and did catch up to him. The demogorgan grabbed him, its slimy, disgusting arm wrapped around his waist. It picked him up and started walking towards the woods. But Mike was a fighter. He kicked and squirmed, doing his best to get out of the demogorgans grasp. Mike fought and fought, the best he could. But he eventually got tired, and slowed down his hits and kicks. Mike was out of breath, he was cold and tired.
The demogorgan walked to a tree that was covered in vines and slime. It walked down the path to the Upside Down, and thats the last time Mike Wheeler ever saw the real world.

Heyya, can I please get a ship from Stranger Things, Friends and 13 Reasons Why? I'm 5'7, Slytherin and a Taurus, currently doing an English degree! I have curly, blonde, shoulder length hair with hazel eyes. I usually wear natural makeup and my style is a mix of oversized blazers and long floral dresses! I'm extremely outgoing and (obnoxiously) loud, you can usually find me in the pub with friends haha, and would love to be a writer in the future :)))
i ship you with...
Tumblr media
STRANGER THINGS - JONATHAN BYERS
he is the very much opposite when it comes to you. its as if a slytherin was paired with a hufflepuff. he is shy and always bashful. he is known as the awkward kid. he is intimidated by you. you own your stuff and you strut your stuff. you are this beaming star to him and he is this black hole. but he can’t stop looking at you, he cant stop loving you. when you walk by him, your pretty scent fills his nose. it makes him blush and react odd. he counts himself as the ugly duckling. he finds himself looking strange while you look so beautiful. he sees your dresses and thinks how would a girl like you ever go out with a guy like him? you make him feel like he is going to explode. he cant stop thinking about you. he likes to take pictures of you because you remind him of the most elegant flower. he brings himself down because he needs to face reality. you are too good for him. his brother will even tries to help a lending hand in getting you two together. it happens though when you are in a pub with your friends. you all are hanging out and having a great time, laughing and singing, louder than the others around you. its really not his scene. but he masters up the courage to go and talk to you and when he does he thinks your voice sounds like a melody. he cant stop staring at you and into your eyes. you love how cute and sweet he is and how hes not like the other boys. he makes sure to give you more than just kisses and hugs, he wants to truly be with you as a person, as his partner in crime.
Tumblr media
FRIENDS - ROSS GELLER
anybody knows ross its that he is very over the top and full of anxiety. he is always worried about other predicaments but hes very knowledgeable. to you he is very nerdy. you met at a pub when he was invited by his coworker. he liked how different you were and didn’t mind about no one. he thought you were exciting and extremely beautiful. when he first kissed you he felt the fireworks that the movies talked about. youre his lobster. he loves how you make him come out of his shell and dare him to do wild stuff. he never would of acted this way but he loves being with you because you make him feel alive. you make him live. he tries to come up with a new date every week but he has to see you everyday. his friends love you and you become part of their group. they know how much you mean to ross. ross loves to spoil you and encourages you to write. he loves the English language and tends to use words that poor joey doesnt understand but so do you and you brighten up ross when you do. he feels he is not alone and states that you are smarter than him. he reads your pieces and is so proud of you. if you write a short story about him he will start crying and go buy a ring because life is too short and he wants you to be his, he wants to marry you because he can’t imagine life without you.
Tumblr media
13 REASONS WHY - ALEX STANDALL
gets one look at your over sized blazer and already he has fallen in love. he is too a slytherin so you two have something in common. he laughs when you start speaking loud or laugh in a high pitch. he is more calm and chill and lets himself be taken by the waves so to speak. he takes you to monet’s all the time so you two can chat and enjoy each others company. he orders for you whatever you want and pays ands what great since you two are boyfriend and girlfriend he shares drinks with you. you always want to try his since he always gets something new and weird. alex is terrified over the tapes though because he would never want you to see him as a bad person and you not being in his life would rip his soul apart. so he tries to keep it away from you and tries to go through all his issues alone. when alex tries to kill himself he so happy that you are still with him even though you know about everything. when he first opens his eyes in the hospital all he saw was you and he knew in that moment that you were his soulmate. he loves to play with your hair and style it. the smell and feel makes him feel happy and not alone, he feels at home and comforted. he likes that you stand up for yourself and your friends. he wishes he could of done that at times but he knows that you and him can withstand any hardship and any issues, even a murder.

a place to call home
I started this a while back for Alex Kamal Appreciation Week and kind of lost inspiration. But I found it in my feelings about Persepolis Rising and just freaking banged out the ending. I really wanted to have Alex reflect on what had happened between him and Holden, and how he sees their little family with his own past behind him (no matter how much I want to pretend it doesn't exist like he does in the show). I hope I did him justice.
This is for @nourgelitnius, who is an amazing friend and deserves all the happiness and Alex she can possibly have.
Please leave a review on ao3 if you can. Enjoy! Thanks for reading!
The Roci is quiet again. The monster is gone. The list of necessary repairs—lengthy and painful—is together. Alex sighs as the coffee machine hisses, scooping up his fresh bulb.
He thumps Amos’s good shoulder as he passes the table. Amos grunts, but doesn’t look up from his terminal. Focused on figuring out what he can repair himself. Naomi nearly bumps into him in some kind of rush. She gives him a weak smile as she ducks past him. Away from the medbay, towards her cabin. Not Holden’s. He doesn’t ask. As he passes the medbay himself, he catches sight of Holden still sat there, letting his leg set. He’s rubbing at his eyes, holding tight to the arm of the chair. Alex pauses at the door. Holden doesn’t look up. Alex continues on. He doesn’t see Prax. The good doc is probably holed up in his own cabin. It’s not quite normal, but preferable to the day they’d had leading up to it.
Alex steps up into the almost-as-quiet Ops deck. He sips at his coffee, bitter and strong. He ain’t sleeping any time soon. He doesn’t think any of them are. They’d almost lost Naomi and Amos on the Somnambulist. Then they’d almost lost Holden. On the Roci for Christ’s sake. Part of him wants them all in one room, right here with him. Wants to be able to see them and make them laugh and know they’re okay. Kept busy with work so their minds don’t wander. But they need to decompress, and so does he.
So instead, he sits with his number one gal.
“Hey, honey,” Alex drawls. “Sorry I made you wait so long.”
He climbs up to the pilot’s chair, flops down with a sigh. He can’t sleep, but at least he can relax. He settles in, taking another long draw from his bulb as he studies the screen above him. The camera is still set to the cargo bay, though Holden’s helmet cam is dark. The torn-open doors show off the dark void they’re meant to protect the crew from. The crate that had pinned Holden to the wall is off camera, but Alex still can’t help looking for it. He sighs.
“You almost lost your CO today, you know.” He blinks up at the bulkhead above him. There’s no response. He tsks, looks back down. “I mean, of course you know. You were watching his vitals for us. Still. Was that close.”
Alex listens to the beeps and hums of the ship around him. A small symphony just for him. He lives for moments like this: just him and the ship. The Roci is the best of them, but he’s always looked forward to time alone with all of the ships that came before. They’re almost like some large creature; the way they hum and shift around him feels like breathing. Living. It’s what makes her too easy for him to talk to. That and, the fact that there are no arguments.
“I was so…” He huffs, gulps at his coffee. Looking for words. “I was so pissed at him earlier. You know?” Alex runs a hand through his hair. “He was… he was gonna let Amos… let Naomi die. Just like that. Because he had to stop that… that thing. I mean what the hell, right? What was he thinking?”
True to form, the Roci doesn’t answer. She never answers. Not really. Alex breathes in the silence. Imagines what she might say.
“Nah, I get that. I said something, he snapped out of it. I knew he would, I mean Holden’s not as big an asshole as he seems.” The Roci beeps. Alex shrugs. “Most of the time. But… for a moment… it seemed like he really… like he was going to really do it. Keep going. Let them die.”
Alex lets the words linger on his lips and in the air. With everything that’s happened… it doesn’t feel like just over a day ago. It feels like weeks. Only the vivid memory of his heart hammering in his chest as he talked down a red-lit Holden, as determined as Alex had ever seen him, from the edge of the abyss. A place the man would never come back from had Alex not succeeded.
Alex sighs, rubs at his eyes. “He’d have never forgiven himself. Not once he’d snapped out of… whatever it is he’s got goin’ on.” He starts to lift his bulb to his lips before the thought strikes him. “And I’d never forgive myself if I let him do it.”
The Roci says nothing. Not even a beep. The observation needs no agreement. Really, it should have been more obvious. It had only partially been about saving Holden’s soul. When it comes down to it, really, deep down, it was about his own soul.
Each one of them had come off of Eros scarred. At first, it had been just Naomi who had been haunted by the ones they couldn’t save. Haunted by that little girl she’d been forced to leave behind. But as Alex spent more and more time with the Belters they managed to get off Eros (at the time an unlucky draw based on one sick captain, one XO caring for him, and one disconnected mechanic in his own world leaving him the only one capable of taking on such a task), he realized that Naomi was right to be hurt. To be angry. They should have saved more.
And then they lost the breaching pod in the assault on Thoth.
It would be the last time Alex would lose anyone, if he had a say in it. So he made his voice heard when Holden let his anger blind him to what it would cost him. Refused to back down. Let his determination to save everyone he can battle it out with Holden’s determination to rid the system of the Protomolecule. His determination beat Holden’s fear.
He’d be more proud of himself if he didn’t understand Holden’s position. But Amos and Naomi are alive. Melissa is alive. The refugees. Holden and Prax. Alex.
All because he stood up to Holden. He deserves to be proud.
Alex sips at his coffee, trying to remember a time when he cared far less about any of these people, his crew. His family. He tries to remember what life was like when his world was piloting an ice freighter: arguing with Ade and Byers about how long a run could take on various speeds regardless of their navigating and backseat driving; testing how long it took to get McDowell of his back by throwing every Martian colloquialism into as many sentences as he could; going back and forth with Paj on how Mars’ advanced technology could beat any Belter spare parts; bothering Shed for as many painkillers as he could get. As much as he misses them, and feels a slight stab when he thinks of them, he never once considered them family. He especially never considered Holden, Naomi, and Amos as anything more than a babysitter thought of their charges. Workers come and go. They were replaceable. Even him. Until the Cant got nuked anyway. Hell, even after.
It wasn’t until the Donnager, until the Scopuli, until Eros, that Alex realized that yes: this is his family now. Irreplaceable. Amos, with his deadpan, off-color humor, an uncanny ability to read anyone, quick to what he sees as necessary violence. Naomi, with her Belter realism, her technological genius, her tenderness and care that can fast turn to brutal honesty when pushed. And Holden with his tilting at windmills, his dimming optimism and transparency, his unhealthy coffee addiction, and a loyalty to his crew that nothing, not even his weight in gold, could break.
That’s how Alex had won him over. His loyalty to their little broken crew. Our family needs us. Something in Holden’s eyes told Alex that he would never turn his back on family. Maybe one day he’d tell him the story why. He hums.
“He figured it out though, didn’t he hon?” Alex snorts a laugh, looks up at the ceiling. “And he got what he wanted anyway. Almost died in the process… which… isn’t what I wanted. But he’s here. So’s Naomi and Amos.” Something on the Ops deck below whirs. “Plus one, yeah. The good doctor. Saved Holden for us. Kept our family whole.” He taps the side of his mug, watching the screen before him as it showed them on their present course to nowhere.
“Wouldn’t mind if he joined us, really. But we’re gonna save his kid. No smart man brings his kid on a gunship. Besides, Ganymede will need every doctor it’s got to recover. Botanist or no. It’s a nice thought, though.”
The Roci makes a sound one might think of as mournful. If that “one” was one Alex Kamal. He doesn’t blame her. He’s gotten used to having Prax around. Taking him home wouldn’t hurt quite as badly as losing anyone from his crew. But it would sting.
Alex closes his eyes, lets himself sink into his crash couch. He could fall asleep here, surrounded by the hums and beeps and whirs of his gunship. There’s no regs, no pilot shift changes to keep him from doing so, not like when he was in the Navy. He’s free to enjoy himself in the one place he feels truly comfortable. There’s nothing but him and his ship. The moments tick by.
The distant sounds of doors opening and closing join the mechanical hums of the Roci. He pictures Holden headed back to his quarters alone, aided by the float rather Naomi. For whatever reason. More doors. Magboots in the halls. He can envision Amos slipping into the galley to dip into their alcohol stash one last time. Or Prax, exploring now that he’s trusted enough to be left to his own devices. Maybe Naomi, walking towards Holden’s closed door, hovering outside and willing it to open. The music of a ship on night shift can create all kinds of stories. He’s always loved it.
Nothing makes it better than knowing it’s the story of his new family. Only time will tell where it will go from here.
When he opens his eyes again, he sees the corner of a photo, peeking out from behind his station. A weight starts to settle in his stomach. His wife. Their son. He had had a family that relied on him. Loved him. He’d already failed them. They don’t even know he’s alive, a fact he’s been more than reminded of by everyone who knows. Maybe they’d find out, with Holden’s messages to Earth while chasing Eros, or his broadcasted threat to both Navies. Maybe they’d find out. Reach out. Maybe not. Maybe they’ve moved on and found someone better. Someone more grounded. Someone who won’t fail them.
He won’t fail this family. He’ll do better. He has to. He closes his eyes again, takes a breath and the weight fades.
Alex lets himself drift to the sounds of home and the comfort of family, all his. All in his Rocinante.

Corruption in Oklahoma county
The Sante Fe police division told me once they were gonna make sure that he went back to prison. At that time they had & he went back for 5 years. Its shows Burgalery 2 but really it was just grabbing a toolbox out of the back of a truck. Got caught with drugs twice but 5 years for grabbing a toolbox.? This actually happens alot & to many people. He has been out almost a year now, or 10 months really,
What happened this time is somebody we know got a truck,, she told me that it was from her ex-mexican husband. . That afternoon when leaving my place, she let him take the truck someplace. A friend from outside told me that 2 mexicans came up to the cop car after it had pulled into the store. That the 2 mexicans kept pointing towards the truck & pointing towards the store..a friend of mine standing in line behind Richard at the time said the cop came up & asked Richard if he was driving the red truck. She claims he said No' & that he told the officer he was in the blue one.. The lady behind him in line told me that as soon as Richard spoke that the officer basically said they were taking him in. They handcuffed him,, searched him, & arrested him, although he said he wasn't driving anything, & he was not pulled over in it., nor did the officer witness him driving anything.. Yet he was busted immediately & handcuffed before even leaving that store. At the time I thought that maybe it was her ex-husbands & it likely wasn't hers at all. Maybe she was just borrowing it herself. Maybe the ex-husband got angry since she allowed another man to drive it & he likely seen him leaving from where she was at. Since that had just happened. The girl in this story is a prostitute named (Esther Richter) & she works on or about SE 44th & Byers ave., & cops use prostitutes often to set someone up so they can legally have a reason to get them incarcerated.
As the officer arrested him he stated that he was going to give him the highest charge possible & along with unauthorized use of a vehicle, he also got him for trafficking of illegal drugs although it was just possession. It was one bag with stuff in it & he had no other bags or paraphernalia near or around him.., The sack was on his person & not even in the vehicle, but they said since it weighed a certian amount then they can still get 'Trafficking' as a charge although it does not really fit the catorgory of Trafficking, nor did it fit in the catorgory to show intent to sell niether.
I began to think it was literally a set-up & this all happened when I looked to find the truck owner though the address listed on the police paperwork, & when I went there, it was an empty place. I asked the apartment people how long that place had been empty & it had been a minute. !
Another thing., was right before he left Esther, she had also handed him a bank card & she asked if he would hold it for her. She said it was hers. So why did she say a card was hers, when at the time he was searched, the card in his pocket was really a card of the truck owners.. I have asked Esther many times about that truck & she everytime begins to act crazy & says the same thing about it.. Whenever I ask where she got it from.., she still says it is hers. I have asked her where it is at then.., & she just states it is put up. She actually claims that nobody went to jail & that I am wrong about Richard going to jail over that truck. She begins yelling sometimes, about how she wants me to leave her alone, even before I have made a statement; & I think thats another way of avoiding the real answers ahe dont want others knowing about.
Some may think it dont happen like that, but I have watched it happen once or twice from the other side of the line.., so I know exactly how it does happem. I have literally watched a set-up & it was a known prostitute the time who helped do it. She turned on somebody like family to her family. And it was for 40 dollars worth of dope. And they did not even give her the $40 bucks in the end. They say if they will sell themselves then they will sell you too!
This guy I speak about is Richard Urrutia & I will share this story & fight this case until its dropped down to a possession & Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle is pulled away. The statues on Unauthorized Use of a vehicle say "with intent to deprive the owner of, either by trickery or theft', but he never knew of the owner & was not trying to deprive anyone of anything himself. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO TO ADD OR KNOWLEDDGE, OR HELP MAYBE.. .. .
SO WE LOOK TO DEFINE TRAFFICKING, The everyday understanding of ìtrafficking should count for a lot here, for the statutes in play do not define the term, and so remit us to regular usage to see what Congress probably meant. FDIC v. Meyer, 510 U. S. 471, 476 (1994). which Trafficking ordinarily means some sort of commercial dealing. See Blackís Law Dictionary 1534 (8th ed. 2004) (defining to traffic as to ìtrade or deal in (goods, esp. illicit drugs or other contraband ); see also Urena-Ramirez v. Ashcroft.
