sfw alphabet ft. roronoa zoro! (because im down bad for him)
enough horniness, now we shall weep and cry cause of how much we love this moss head 🤭🤭
Tumblr media
yes ur honor this is the man im in love with :/
💗affection (how affectionate are they? how do they show affection?):
affection (in it's traditional sense) comes hard to zoro. he doesn't really know how to go about it to be very honest. to him affection is sarcasm and acts of services ("acts of service" include calling you mid in 5 languages (joke), making fun of your exercise form and the way you sometimes drool in your sleep, offering you sake etc.). but as time passes by and you both start getting more comfortable with each other, he gets on board with it. every time you both are spending time alone, he holds onto you one way or the other. don't expect him to call you sugarcakes or something because he won't but he will let you know before drifting off to sleep that you mean the world to him. i dont think hes a huge pda guy but if he's super drunk then he cannot possibly keep his hands off of you, its quite weird for the crew to see him so openly affectionate (cue sanji gagging).
💗best friend:
what would they be like as a best friend? how would the friendship start? he's lowkey the bestest of best friends. he has the energy of "idk what you're doing but ig do it anyways cause i know how to fight" an opinion on everything but he doesn't have the time or energy to say anything (between his sleeping and training). doesn't mean he's any less nonchalant, no, he's just super opinionated for some reason. so, when you're sitting next to him on the deck on those late nights, asking him absurd questions, best believe he will deliver peak (nonchalant) commentary. especially after the two years when he's back from living with perona!!! HE IS A CERTIFIED FASHION KING. "zoro," you nudge him and he hums in response, "i was thinking of getting nami that silver bracelet for her birthday, should i?" "i mean i wouldn't give that debt collecting witch anything but-" he winces lightly when you punch him in the arm, "-but. i think silver will look look washed out against his complexion. gold seems better" "you think?"
💗cuddles (do they like to cuddle? how would they cuddle?):
at the start, he thinks cuddles are lowkey dumb (and like he probably has gone years without them), so, he puts up this weird drama like "uh no i dont wanna do it" ofc he's lying. cause you're so soft and you smell so good and his hands are literally shaking trying not to hold you against him. after a while, he will unironically announce to you that he is the little spoon tonight and you need to suck it up. (lowkey gives the best cuddles because he literally envelopes you whole till you have to physically push him away) he wants to cuddle but you're DYING. YOU JUST KNOW YOU ARE. because this man is a heat radiating hot heating device heater. he is like a portable sauna. he needs to give you some space but he wont.
💗domestic (how are they at cooking and cleaning?):
cooking? cleaning? you should be grateful that he's showering everyday ever since you started dating him. he knows some basic cooking and cleaning skills (cause he did survive on his own for a good few years) but he doesn't know them in a socially acceptable manner. he just caught a fish, burnt it and ate it cause ✨proteins✨ okay? it's not like he does it on purpose, it's just that he's too focused on training and getting better and you have a chef so, he doesn't have to bother too much about it. but if you both were living together, then i think he will obviously learn them cause he doesn't want you to be the only responsible one cleaning after his messes. and he actually has kinda started liking cooking cause it's relaxing (he's also good at chopping up veggies and stuff so you both can cook together). the only part of cooking he hates is when sanji starts giving him tips cause like genuinely, sanji mind your own fucking business okay he'd learn pasta himself. tldr; the first time you teach him these things, he makes a mess and almost burns down your house but afterwards, you can rely on him to get the things done semi-nicely.
💗ending:
if they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it? i think if zoro had to breakup with someone it will probably be over focusing on his dreams of being the best swordsman or if you cheated on him or broke his trust. i don't think he will pursue a relationship with someone if he didn't see it lasting, so, he won't break-up for petty reasons (nor do i think he will ever cheat). i also think he's a practical man. he won't try to sugarcoat or make you false promises. he sure as fuck won't tell you that you both can "still be friends" or some shit (i mean unless you're in the same crew then it kinda goes without saying). he'll probably ask you to come have a chat with him. sit you down and tell you directly and exactly why he is doing it. and he absolutely won't let you have any residual doubts if you "weren't enough" for him or so. just because he has to make this decision doesn't mean he doesn't love or respect you. so, even tho he won't ask you to be friends, if you ever need someone to rely on, he will be there for you. bottom line, he will still be a friend to you (though prepare to ignore each other for a long time after the breakup cause obviously it hurts and you might punch him)
💗fiance(e):
how do they feel about commitment? seeing as his character is super ride or die, he definitely doesn't have a problem recognizing how much you mean to him. but he is pretty emotionally constipated, so, he will take an eternity to actually accept how much you mean to him in a non-friendly manner. how quick would they want to get married? settling down??? no. he's not settling down. not until he's the best swordsman atleast. marriage is lowkey scary to him cause he didn't grow up with healthily functioning relationships to look upto but once he started dating you, he could see it potentially being a "forever" sort of a thing. he's probably not gonna say that out loud tho, thats a topic reserved only for wayward day-dreams or super drunken nights. so, as for the marriage thing he'd want to take his time. he would probably choose to achieve his own goals (and support you to reach yours) and then, think about settling down.
💗gentle (how gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?):
physically: zoro is acutely aware of his super-human strength but it still comes as a shocker to him to see how fragile, almost dainty you are in compare to him. simple things like comparing hand sizes or how large his t-shirt looks on you when you wear it to sleep genuinely leave him awestruck (and slightly lovesick). so, he makes it his number one priority to always be gentle to you, as if he's scared that you're on the cusp of breaking. and he treats you as such always. (unless you ask with tear-lidden eyes and trembling lips how badly you want him to demolish you because then, maybe he is ready to comply) emotionally: like almost everything else, gentle words come hard to him at the start. all he has known is tough love. so, understanding that making fun of you when you're having your weekly breakdown was the wrong choice took him a while. he's not like emotionally stunted but he still doesn't trust his choice of words to comfort you. rather, he lets the way he holds you against him and pets your head when you sob against his chest do the talking. but if you go out of your way to teach him what he should probably say when you're sad then he might have some luck with it. until then, enjoy the cuddles.
💗hugs:
do they like hugs? after starting to date you, this man realized he loves hugs. and he loves giving hugs. but he's incredibly selective and thus far the only two (2) candidates have been allowed to pass through his tedious selection process. that being you and chopper (both of you are in a binding contract so you cant tell anyone about it either). well, luffy too if you count how clingy he can get 👍🏼 how often do they do it? he does hug you atleast once a day even if it as subtle as holding you from the back, resting his head on your shoulder. what are their hugs like? his hugs are genuinely bear hugs. okay. like he will engulf you and you will stand back and allow it to happen. he doesn't really hold on too long tho, so usually you gotta pull him back towards yourself and hug him tighter when you want it to last longer. pulling him towards yourself usually ends with him smiling and pressing a chaste kiss on your temple as his hands snake around you yet again.
💗"I love you" (how fast do they say the L-word?):
i think he says it fairly sooner than you anticipate. like however long you think he will take, it takes significantly lesser time. this is because (as i said), he probably spent a long time in denial and then in pining, so, naturally by the time you got together, he was sure of his feelings for you. anyways, one of my first fics on this blog was of how zoro probably said "i love you" to you when he was drunk and forgot about it when he woke up the next day. i still stand by that. i think it was a genuine, drunken confession but when you shyly confronted him about it, he just replied, "yeah, i meant that. i love you." his words were nonchalant but you could notice the dusted pink of his cheeks when he admits it and then his unsure gaze as he looks over your face and then the ground. (truth is, he only acted nonchalant. internally he is ready to jump off the ship incase you didn't say it back. thank god you said it back.)
💗jealousy (how jealous do they get? what do they do when they’re jealous?):
omg this man is simultaneously the most secure and the most jealous whore in this world. does he know you're not gonna cheat on him and ignore practically any man throwing himself on you? yeah, he knows that. but does he also want to cut off all those guys' heads if they even look at you? kinda, yes. i think he gets really shy to admit he's jealous. like he'd blame his irritable temper on the weather or the fact that he got less sleep last night. but you did notice how he clenched his jaw when a random guy in the market had been ogling you. and so, you tease him relentlessly. "zoro," you laugh, poking him in the chest accusingly, "are you sure? i think there might be something else going on" "like what?" he huffs, "i just got less sleep last night." "babe are you like jealous?" "no-" "you totally are" "stop saying that" "jealoussss" as to how does he deal with it? he fucks you. quick 'n easy. (im so sorry if youre a minor and reading this, in that case he pillow fights you to death.)
💗kisses (what are their kisses like? where do they like to kiss you? where do they like to be kissed?):
what are their kisses like: after a long day, he always unwinds with you. so, his kisses are usually slow. he relishes in the way your lips feels against his, the way your cheeks feel like under his palm and the way you smile at him when you pull away. there's no haste because he has you right there and you both know you're not going anywhere. but on those nights he's pent up, anger and frustration strewn across his veins, he chooses to kiss you till he forgets just what he was angry about. his kiss-bitten lips are hot against yours, his hand roughly kneading your waist as he pours his anger into your desperate kisses. where does he like to kiss you: in public, his favourite spots are definitely your cheek or your temple as they are relatively tame pda tactics but still gets the point across. he gets to show his affection towards you without making a huge show for it. he also loves kissing on your shoulder as he rests his head on your shoulder and holds onto you. he can feel your pulse under his dull, soft kisses and heard your breathy hums and moans.
💗ittle ones (how are they around children?):
well, i hate kids. so, im gonna be biased. okay i don't hate kids but i hate toddlers. fucking devil spawns. i truly believe they will sacrifice us all for the beginning of the dark ages. anyways, zoro's not great with kids in theory. but somehow, when he interacts with kids he does end up somehow being a good (annoyed) dad figure (remember when he fathered three kids? cause i do)
💗mornings (how are mornings spent with them?):
morning with this green-haired ass start with you pushing his heavy arm off of you. you mumble that you're hot, trying to turn away from him and into the cool sheet. but it's no use because he just traps you against him yet again. zoro definitely doesn't give morning person vibes so i believe you are up before he is. you run you fingers softly against his scalp, bringing down your drumming fingers to his bare shoulders. you press an innocent kiss to his forehead and smile when he leans into your faint touches. when he finally wakes up, he looks up at you through sleepy eyes. he greets you with a tired "morning" before closing his eyes and draping himself you again. "zoro" you whisper half-heartedly, "everyone else is up, come on, we should get up too" he mumbles into your skin, "they weren't the ones keeping a watch last night, were they? come on, 10 more mins." "zo-" "please" he looks up at you, flashing you a soft smile, "10 mins." "10 mins only, okay? then we get up" (well, 10? more like 2 mins. luffy started yelling about breakfast and tried to eat before the food was served. and so, sanji (naturally) kicked him to near-death, so, you both had to wake up)
💗night (how are nights spent with them?):
walking out of the shower, you dry yourself off before cladding yourself in your pajamas. your limbs feel tired, body devoid of any and all energy as you climb into your bed to relax. sometimes you read, other times you just stare at the ceilings and think about stuff (we've all been there). zoro usually slips into the room silently, closing the door behind him. he plops down next to you and you curl up against him. sometimes, you both exchange small talk, if something fun happened while the other person wasn't around or gossip you heard from nami and ussop. but most days, you both simply enjoy the silence in each other's company till you're ready to fall asleep. every once in a while, he slips into the shower with you. (keeping this kids friendly) he gently washes your scalp and you rest your bare back against his chest as you ease yourself into the warm water. you return the favor by giving him a back massage. after this youre both so tired that you immediately pass the fuck out.
💗open:
when would they start revealing things about themselves: i feel like he'd know a lot about you before you find out anything important about him. he wears his loyalty and his dreams on his arms, but you don't find out why his dreams are so important or why he is so fidgety around tashigi until you're a good few days into dating. other small things about him are revealed to you thru his actions as he never mentions them, so, be prepared to be a persistent observer. do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly: he always reveals himself in little ways, never revealing too much. not because he doesn't trust you but because he's never had to talk about anything like this out loud. but anytime he does end up telling you something, it ends up being a heart to heart conversation. also, since he does get very drunk very often canonically, i don't think he's the type to slip up and tell things only cause he's not in the right headspace. so i imagine he only tells you things sober and in solitude, further cementing his trust in you.
💗patience (how easily angered are they?):
in moments of actual anger, as a swordsman, zoro is pretty good while handling his emotions. he knows how to differentiate between irrational feelings and actual solutions needed to get to the bottom of something. so, even when he gets mad he wouldn't necessarily act on it unless and until it is truly something that makes him tick. and things that make him tick includes people talking/doing something wrong to you or anyone in the crew, in that case he's going god mode. that being said, he will get easily irritated if someone is just joking around in the crew (especially sanji). he's incredibly patient with you tho, so, don't even worry about it and just accept him dumb antics for what they are.
💗quizzes:
 how much would they remember about you? i see yall sleeping on my man and i hate it. yes, hes kind of an idiot and not the best with memory but if it's anything about you or your relationship?? best believe he knows everything like the back of his hand. but he only claims that kind of power when it comes to you cause he will not really bother to remember other stuff if its not important. do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything? even though he wouldn't outright keep saying he remembers, he will often mention it in passing. like if you bring up someone while recounting a story to him, he will probably remember the last time you mentioned that guy. that being said, his memory is still kinda ass. so, he sometimes mixes things up if they aren't that relevant to the plot. so forgive him okay? hes trying
💗remember:
 what is their favorite moment in your relationship? i def feel like zoro prefers the mundane moments with you over any extravagant things. living on sea is insane, it's one thing after the other so knowing he has you to himself even for a few hours and in those hours, he gets to do nothing but love you truly means a lot to him. he isn't a cook by any means but this one time, when the rest of the crew had gotten off at a new island to restock and had only left you and him to keep guard, you had suggested you wanted to bake a cake. "i don't know how to cook" he mumbled softly, trying to convince you otherwise, "i can only do some cutting, slashing yk" "you dont even have to do anything!! just sit there and look pretty, i can do the baking." he eventually caved in. but now the memory of you making batter while he sat on the counter, talking to you is etched onto his every nerve. there had been a little bit of flour on your eyebrow and he used his thumb to clean it away before pulling you towards him and kissing you hard. you looked up at him, "i love you" "i love you too"
💗security:
how protective are they? i feel like zoro isn't as territorially protective as one would assume. like i said in the best friend section, he is more a laid-back "i know how to kill and get rid of the body, do whatever you want" kind of a vibe. that doesn't mean that he isn't gonna be on the verge of pulling out his swords the second someone even utters a word against you (but usually his dirty looks get the job done before he even pulls out the swords) how would they protect you? slash slash, stab stab and cocky remarks at the opponent (sometimes pure, unfiltered rage) how would they like to be protected? he's the roronoa zoro, he doesn't need physical protection. that being said, he wouldn't admit it out loud but just because he doesn't need you to pull out a gun to save him doesn't mean it doesn't give him pesky, little butterflies in his stomach whenever you defend him with your words. even if its something as small as calling out someone else's jokes that were targeted at him (and were just straight up offensive). or getting into actual verbal altercations (it happened once when you were drunk)
💗try:
how much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks? not a lot, tbh. look hes tired, you're tired, just cuddle and sleep okay? that being said he does put decent amount of efforts to surprise you every once in a while. he doesn't put on an extravagant show, so, mostly his surprises are just kinda lowkey and sweet. so on your anniversary, maybe he'd finally get the stick out of his ass and accept nami's idea of booking you a table somewhere expensive. but the memorable part isn't that, the memorable part is him asking (almost) shyly if you just wanna walk around town after dinner while he holds your hand and you bitch about your crew (in a loving manner).
💗ugly:
what would be some bad habits of theirs? omg obviously the drinking!!! i know he has high tolerance and shit but bro your liver's practically CRYING RN. please introduce yourself to some healthier coping mechanisms other than drinking and going stabby-stab. i also do think he's egoistic (it lessens with time) but its still a pain in the start
💗vanity:
 how concerned are they with their looks? this man does not give two fucks about his looks, like legit couldn't care less. he does know he looks decent tho (i mean casting mackenyu was a choice, i see you oda sensei). but ever since dating you, he has been putting in little efforts. i think partially cause you bully him into having a skincare routine and showering daily and partially cause he just wants to be a pretty boyfriend to his favourite girl.
💗whole:
would they feel incomplete without you? yes and no. this is conflicting cause on one hand, ofcourse your absence will be equivalent to having daggers through his heart. but also, he seems like the guy who hyper-focuses on themselves after a breakup. i don't think he'd feel "incomplete" without you if you both ever broke up cause however dumb he is, he knows sometimes things don't work out and that's that. besides, even if you have to go, he still have people (the crew) to love and care for. but he would feel that glaring absence and it'll take a way heavier toll than anyone anticipated (cue him blasting heavy metal in his room and face-timing perona drunk and (almost) crying. perona suggested she takes care of you which made him actually cry cause perona dont be fucking mean)
💗xtra (a random headcanon for them):
zoro is so good at doing eye makeup specifically. i mean like because of all the sword-training and all, he has really good hand-eye coordination and very precise movements. so, like if you asked him to do your liner and give him specific-ish directions for how you want him to do it, he will 100% ace it. he doesn't really do well in other departments but he can learn (if you can make him learn thru that attitude of his) also, i theorize that he's ticklish but in the randomest fucking places. one time you lovingly ran your hand through his hair, bringing it playfully down to his nape and he fuckING GIGGLED?? another time you offered him a leg-massage cause he seemed to have pulled a muscle and you were working on his calf, trying to help him out and he yelped cause it tickled???? hello what do we do with this info now?
💗yuck:
what are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner? he wouldn't like judgmental people or people who are very uptight (cause although his jokes could be hit/miss, he doesn't wanna hear a fucking lecture). also dont be disrespectful to him/his friends. and also, i think he would have a thing against people who are too nosy (pre-dating mostly), like if he wanted to tell you something he would other than those basic things, he's chill.
💗zzz:
he's asleep before you can say "good night" because he's a simple man who needs to sleep 10 hours a day (minimum) see he isn't going off ruining lives, he's not fucking things up for someone else, he's just taking a nap. its like the least horrible thing he can do, let him nap. i do think he should get checked for some vitamin deficiency tho caue uh, just in case. that being said, you go to sleep now. i would too. goodnight!
a/n: loved making this so much that i might make one for literally every character ever once i get the time lol

Sanjis pov:
‘Gosh she is the most prettiest gal ever…’ i whispered in my sleep on accident and that stupid moss head threw a pillow at me to shut up, it woke me up instead. I took a look at the clock and it was 5:32 in the morning, i decided to get out of bed and start cooking early. If i didn’t then everyone would be too hungry by morning, and id be behind my usual schedule. I get alot of sleep often anyway, so im not too angered.
For breakfast i decided to keep it simple and make fluffy pancakes from scratch with syrup, honey and other assorted fruits, i know my loves Nami, Robin and Y/n would love that. Even chopper loves sweets, he would love it too. However for the guys, i knew Luffy, Usopp and that marimo wouldn’t have sweet pancakes for fuel. I made omelets over rice with a big batch of bacon that would satisfy them for the time being, id eat some of that too…BUT i cant salivate while cooking..id save my hunger for when im done!
The moment i finished cooking i could hear a few footsteps coming towards the main area/kitchen. It was Nami, Robin, Y/N and Chopper! Just the people i wanted to see! “Nami-swaann!! Robin-chann!! Y/n-sannn!!” I wave at them before setting up there plates with heart eyes, i made sure to tend to Y/n as well since they were the one i truly have my heart for.
“Wow Sanji this looks really good! Thank you!” Nami took her plate as-well as Robin, who gave me bright smile as a thank you. Y/n took her plate, i thought i could see a flash of disappointment on her face before she just slightly bows with a smile “Thank you, Sanji.”
The rest of the crew came in and of course Luffy almost devoured everything, i hit him on the head and yelled at him. I glance towards y/n and i see shes not eating..but i thought she would have loved that? Am i mistaken?
———
Narrators pov:
Y/n looks at her plate, with the big pancakes sitting in-front of her this would affect her in so many different ways. However she didn’t want to be mean so she takes a bite, it was really really good!! But since you know how this could be unhealthy for you, you push it to the side. But it’s really tempting..the way Sanji made it was out of this world. You were close to taking another bite before a voice snaps you out of your trance
Sanji was behind you, he whispered close to your ear in a soft voice. “Why aren’t you eating? Is everything alright?”
Nami and Robin could clearly see the situation, but they pretended that they didn’t and they continued to listen.
Sanjis voice tickled your ear a bit and you jumped, regaining consciousness. “Oh yeah im fine..can i save this for later, um…my…stomach hurts real bad i think i ate something i was supposed to the other day.”
Sanji looks a little saddened but he nods his head as you walk away to your room. There weren’t too many currents that day so the ship didn’t move so far, you were still on your way to the next island and it was going to take some time. You didn’t eat anything else for the rest of the day, even if Sanji insisted, you would only take a bite. You felt immense guilt for turning down Sanjis cooking even when it was the best you have ever tasted in the whole world.
That night everyone went to bed, you fell onto your bed but you couldn’t sleep somehow. You needed to clear your mind. You tip toed your way outside your room onto the ship and then to the kitchen, you grabbed yourself a glass of cool water and walked to the edge of the ship to star gaze. It was always beautiful on ships, and there was a nice breeze today. You took a sip of your water, and let out a refreshing puff of air. It felt nice to just relax every once in awhile.
However you didn’t know that there were footsteps behind you, and you felt a pair of arms sneak around your waist.
“Y/n, what are you doing up?” Sanji says in a low tone trying not to wake anyone up. You jolt in fear and drop the glass, before it fell on the floor Sanji softly kicked it up with his feet and caught it. “Be more careful…as i was saying, are you okay?”
You’re still in shock before you calm down. “Yeah..”
“I don’t believe you.”
You both stood in silence before he spoke up again. “I have a feeling i know that this is about. You’re worried aren’t you? You’re worried about your body and how different foods will affect your weight? Am i right?”
You nod your head admitting in a bit of shame
“Y/n, i know how you feel. You’re amazing don’t you know that? You don’t have to be ashamed of who you are, if you’re looking for change then i want to help at-least. I want to make sure my crew-mates are the healthiest.” You look at him is surprised, but you didn’t understand why he was telling YOU this.
“But Nami and robin, they don’t have to try hard to be pretty..and you obviously love them so much. So why are you talking to me about this? What do you know so much about me anyway?” You slightly snapped back not meaning to sound harsh, Sanji giving an anxious look in return.
“Im speaking you about this because you’re the one who’s struggling alone and i love you too much to let you suffer.” You both stand in silence..
.
.
.
“What-.”
“I love you.”
He steps closer slowly, step by step he opens his arms wider, then taking you all in by hugging you. You lightly shed tears into his arm while he kisses your forehead. “I love you too, Sanji..”
Oh yeah you and can definitely guarantee Robin heard it all.

Oil Me Up!
જ⁀➴ Masseuse : Day 11
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
feat. Bo Sinclair ᯓ★ You've received a gift certificate for a free massage at the sketchy parlor down the road! Hopefully there aren't any weirdos working there!
warnings! : NSFW 18+, non canon au, inappropriate use of massage oils, fingering, semi-public sex, unprotected sex, this is so unserious guys
ᯓ★ kinktober m.list || read on ao3
Tumblr media
Your hand clenches around the flimsy paper card in your hand, trying desperately to ignore the pats on your back and the congrats from your various coworkers. You stare down the company’s ultimate bingo prize that you had won.
A gift certificate to the sketchy massage parlor down the road.
Seriously? This was all your shitty bosses could invest in for a mandatory bonding activity?
You feel a migraine coming on as you force a smile on your face that you’re sure looks more like a grimace and weave your way out of your crowd, away from the assholes you work with.
When the weekend hits, you find yourself utterly bored and unmotivated. You should probably get some laundry done, but your back is aching and you really don’t feel like getting up and doing any sort of manual labor.
As you lay in bed, your mind drifts to the gift certificate. You rummage through your purse that hangs on your nightstand, eventually pulling out the crumpled up paper. You contemplate whether or not you should go before realizing that you really don’t give a shit.
Fuck it. What’s the worst that could happen? At least you’re getting a free massage out of it.
You manage to roll yourself out of bed and put on clothes that make you look presentable, fumbling for your keys and making the quick drive to the parlor, an almost identical route that you take to work.
Your nose scrunches as you really get a good look at the place. It looks a lot dingier up close. The walls are rusted and covered in moss, and the sign is barely visible, clearly not having been updated since before you were born. The space looks way too tiny for a massage parlor to be run inside of it, and you can find the door half open, looking as though it’s broken and can’t be closed.
You snort, wondering which poor intern your bosses sent in here to fetch them the gift certificate.
The door creaks loudly as you pull it open causing you to wince. You really weren’t in the mood to deal with a migraine today.
“Hello?” You call out, immediately cringing by how you sound like one of those horror movie victims.
You hear some rustling in the back office, and then the loud footsteps of what seems to be workman’s boots. An odd choice for a masseuse parlor, but you weren’t surprised if this place had some oddballs working in it.
Suddenly a man emerges from the office, and you’re shocked to be greeted by a tall man wearing what seems to be a mechanic’s jumpsuit.
Tumblr media
Now, were you a real nice sight for Bo’s eyes.
He hadn’t laid his eyes on something as pretty in ages as you in ages, if he wasn’t counting that meaty hot dog he ate last night.
He whistles at you. “Well, hello there, gorgeous, what can I do for you today?”
You roll your eyes and cross your arms, and Bo can’t help but be turned on a lil’ bit at your feistiness. “If you fucking worked here, you’d know I was here for a massage.” You hold up a small piece of paper between your pointer and middle finger. “And a free one, at that.”
Bo raises an eyebrow at the paper, snatching it from your hands and taking a good look at this. Look, Bo wasn’t the best employee, but he’s pretty sure he would remember if they were giving out free fucking massages. Which they weren’t because this place didn’t have the money for that. He was lucky that he still was getting his biweekly paycheck without it bouncing.
Bo also notices that the word massage on the certificate is missing an s. He hands the card back to you.
“Yeah, that ain’t real.”
Your face drops so comically that Bo almost bursts out laughing.
“The fuck do you mean it’s not real? I won that in bingo!”
Bo sighs. He’s used to people complaining, and even though you’re really hot he isn’t in the mood to argue with anyone today. “Listen lady, you’re lucky that I’m actually here right now and not off—”
“Don’t you listen lady me, you big oaf! I drove all the way out here on my day off to get a free fucking massage that I won fair and square, and now you’re telling me it’s fake? I better be getting this massage one way or another!”
Big oaf? That was a new one for Bo. Usually he was just cursed out by pervy old men coming in looking to get fondled by some chick. Now that he’s thinking about it, he was probably hired in the first place so this place could avoid any sex trafficking allegations.
You look like you’re two seconds away from starting to actually whack at Bo, so he figures he should probably de-escalate the situation and put those VHS training videos from all those years ago to use. “I can still give you that massage, if you really want it.”
You raise an eyebrow. “For free?”
He smirks. “For a different price.”
“Is this your way of saying you want to fuck me for it?”
Bo is surprised by your bluntness, but he thinks that he probably shouldn’t be at this point.
He raises his hands up in faux innocence. “You said it, not me.” You seem to contemplate it for a bit, but probably not as long as you should’ve. “Fine,” you finally say. Bo keeps his cheers in his head. “But you better be a good fuck, or I’m going to be real pissed off.”
You turn to head into the only room that’s opened, walking past Bo. But then you stop and turn your head towards him.
“And no fucking until after the massage.”
You slam the door behind you, presumably to undress and get yourself ready, and Bo takes that as his cue to also get his things prepared—namely his oils and waxes.
His dick throbs thinking about you naked on the table, oiling you all up, laying nice and pliant for him to—
He shakes those thoughts away and ignores his boner, not really wanting to face your wrath for not giving you your massage first.
Massage, then pussy, massage, then pussy…
Bo repeats the mantra in his head until he’s ready to see you naked, not bothering to knock because he really just doesn’t give a shit.
He sees you lying stomach down on the massage table, a towel already covering your ass. Damn, missed opportunity. You look unamused as you scroll through your phone, looking as though you’ve been waiting forever for him when he’s pretty sure it was only a couple of minutes.
“Finally! Feels like I’ve been waiting forever!”
“Sorry, ma’am,” he gives you a toothy grin. “Wanted to make sure I got all the best products for you.” That was complete bullshit, as he just grabbed whichever ones smelt the girliest to him.
You look as though you don’t believe them, but you seem to drop the issue when you put your phone down beside you and rest your head against the cot.
Bo takes that as his cue to begin. He does all the fancy stupid shit that’s required of him before he can start touching you. You don’t seem to mind it too much, your eyes closed and a small smile across your face.
When Bo finally lathers his hands in oil and places them on your backside, he’s pretty sure he knows what heaven feels like now.
Out of all the years of working here, Bo has never felt the touch of a woman. He’s only working when all the old men come in, and most of the time they usually leave once they realize that Bo would be the one massaging them. He’s actually only massaged two people before, and one of them was his boss before that guy just mysteriously vanished.
But hey, he just gets paid by the hour, not the massage.
Bo presses his hands into your back, gliding them up and down in a way that he thinks seems right. He gets you nice and oiled up, paying close attention to your lower back, right where the curve of your ass begins.
“That feels good,” you murmur as he hits a particular spot in the areas he was focusing on.
Bo is surprised, he was hitting that spot because it was the closest he could get to your ass without you questioning it, but hey, if you were giving him the go-ahead he sure as hell was going to take it.
Bo’s cock throbs in its confines as his hands dip lower and lower across your back, grazing your ass momentarily.
He feels you jolt, but you remain silent instead of yelling at him. Bo takes this as his cue to keep going on, his hands traveling down to start kneading your ass. His cock stirs as he hears your faint moans, no doubt trying to hide your sounds from him.
“How ya’ feelin’ now?” he asks, although he’s pretty sure he already knows the answer. He just wants to see if you’ll tell him the truth.
“F-fine, I guess,” you reply, and Bo tuts. Guess you’re playing hard to get. Looks like he’ll have to try a bit harder.
His hands begin to massage you below your ass cheeks, making their way between your thighs. His fingers swipe at your bare pussy, and he’s pleased to find that you’re already wet down there.
“You may be able to lie, but this pussy surely can’t.” Bo chuckles, hearing your intake of breath. He continues to pet your pussy, fingering at your puffy walls, not yet slipping one inside. He enjoys the way your arousal mixes with the oils on his calloused fingers, making it even easier to fondle you all over.
“I thought I said massage first,” you mutter to him weakly.
“Yeah, but you don’t want me to stop, do you?”
Bo barely misses the way your head shakes, a smirk rising to his face as he feels the way his cock pushes against his jumpsuit. “Say it,” he teases.
“...I don’t want you to stop.” You admit to him.
He teases a finger at your slit, relishing in the way you practically jump in your spot when his finger finally penetrates you. “That wasn’t so hard now, was it?”
You moan unabashedly, no longer concerned with hiding them considering the way he curls his finger, hitting spots inside of you that haven’t been touched in forever. Your toes curl as he sticks another inside of you, the thick digits deftly exploring your pussy.
The sounds of your wet pussy are like music to Bo’s ears, and his cock reacts accordingly. He could spend all day with his fingers shoved up your hole.
However, his impatience gets the best of him.
He pulls his fingers out of you in favor of undoing his jumpsuit, just enough so that he’s able to pull his cock out, his hard length standing at attention. His tip is red and angry, and he can’t wait to stick it inside of you.
“Already?” You turn your head towards to look at him, an annoyed expression plastered across your face.
“Clearly wet enough for me to stick my cock into. Why the fuck would I wait any longer?”
“Men,” you mutter under your breath, rolling your eyes.
Bo doesn’t really give a shit about your complaints, because he’s about to get his dick wet. He aligns his length with your hole, rubbing it across your oiled-up ass before sticking it inside.
You had the tightest pussy that Bo could remember ever being in. He manages to contain his groans, as he slowly inches himself inside your hole, your walls squeezing him so well.
“Fuck, baby, you’re clenching around me so nicely. Such a greedy pussy you got here,” he hisses, falling into a rhythmic thrust of his hips. The oil allows him to glide nicely, and he squeezes some more onto your backside, letting it drip down both the arch of your back and between your ass cheeks.
“Ah!” You gasp at the new sensation of Bo’s cock inside of you, gripping down on the flimsy table you lay on. “Slow down!”
“Can’t with you sucking me in like this.” His hips meet your ass with every thrust, the sound of skin on skin reverberating throughout the small room.
As he continues to thrust, he feels you bucking your hips back onto him. The force of you moving against him has you tightening up even more, a feat Bo didn’t realize was possible.
“Shit, yeah, I’m gonna cum.” His thrusts are more erratic now. He throws his head back in pleasure, focusing solely on warmth and tightness of your inner walls as they squeeze his length.
“You better fucking pull out!” you cry out.
As Bo feels his orgasm coming, he manages to pull himself out of your pussy, just enough to see his cum spray onto your back. It travels up your spine with the way your back is arched.
As you’re both panting, recovering from your orgasms, Bo can’t help but to get one last jab in at you.
“Well you got my tip, it’s only fair you give me one. I did provide a service today,” he jeers.
“You’re so fucking gross,” you reply as you stand, choosing not to cover your naked body as you begin to redress yourself. “I came here for a free massage, so you better believe I’m leaving without paying a single cent.”
You walk past him swiftly out the door, his limp cock still hanging out of his pants.
Before you leave the shop, you turn to him one last time, raising your middle finger up. “You didn’t even make me cum, asshole!”
Bo sighs, zipping himself back into his jumpsuit. “Worth a try.”
Man, he fucking hated working a customer service job.

To Love You (Platonic Yandere! Child x Monster!Reader)
Chapter 0: The Body I Stole
[part 1,2]
(CW: death, femme bodied gender neutral reader, child abuse) very short prologue for a story idea I had
There was a muffled sound of a woman struggling quietly as she chased the terrified gasps of a child running for his life. A small boy, maybe five years old, covered in scrapes and bruises new and old, was fleeing his mother as she limped after him.
Avery had caused the accident.
Her eyes were cold and sharp, glaring at the road ahead of her as they drove down the curvey mountain. It wasn't his fault, the scene at the birthday party, but his mother didn't believe it. She never did. The fear of being "disciplined" was something Avery never really shook, in fact, it was something he learned to expect..
He didn't know why he did it. But a surge of adrenaline electrocuted his fingertips, and launched his little arms towards her and the steering wheel. The family car swerved towards the trees, rolling twice before smashing into a tree.
The mother was practically dragging her shattered ankle through the weeds as she tried to catch her kid.
"AVERY! COME BACK HERE RIGHT! NOW!" Her voice tore through the woods. The venomous words that promised pain was heard by more than just Avery, however.
They didn't know what the situation was, nor did they care.. All (Reader) could think about was their hunger.
A twig snapping made the woman stop, believing she had found her child. The scowl on her beautiful features deepened, making the woman look more like a monster than the creature who had just woken up.
"Avery. If you come out right now I won't be mad. I promise."
Even to a monster that had been sleeping for the past hundred or so years, her lies were obvious. (Reader) listened to the little one covering his mouth a few feet away, and guessed that he was the Avery this woman was speaking to. But unfortunately for her, Avery was hiding in the opposite direction.
She couldn't even fake a smile as she hobbled over towards where the monster hid, stretching out their creaky joints.
As she passed the thick trees to where she heard the snapping branches, a small look of hateful triumph was shattered as she found something else standing where she assumed her son would be. The eight foot tall creature with grey skin smiled down at the human. Their body smelled of dirt and moss, but looked like a mummified corpse stretched out. Black hair fell around their shoulders, almost covering their six, blood red eyes, focusing on the trembling prey before them.
Her beautifully painted lips weren't given a chance to scream before the creature opened it's jagged toothed maw, and bit her pretty little head in half.
(Reader's) strong jaw crushed the woman's skull easily, splashing her soft innards down their throat and across their naked chest. It had been so long since they ate that they forgot to take the basic feeding steps.
What was her height? Her hair color? Her chest size? They forgot to care. It wasn't until the only thing left of her body was her left leg.
"Ah.. I made a mistake." (Reader) mumbled to themselves as they tried to recall what their meal's appearance was. If they hadn't been starving, they would have morphed into their new persona before eating them.
They did their best in replicating the woman.
Their spine snapped loudly as they shrunk, hair and skin rapidly changing in color and texture, until they were the woman as they somewhat recalled her to be. 'I'll just find a better suit later..'
Not even the woman's clothes remained in the bloody aftermath. (Reader) sighed as they shook her leg. 'My starvation made me sloppy.' They finished off the last leg of their meal, before turning and surprising themselves with the appearance of a small boy with black hair watching them. (Reader's) new eyes widened, having been so focused on their food that they hadn't noticed him sneaking up on them.
As they contemplated killing and taking the young boy's form, he surprised them again, rushing forward suddenly and wrapping his thin arms around (Reader's) naked flesh.
A/N: I know it's short, but I had an idea for a multiple chapter story, with a clingy adoptive son ❤️ needed to get the OG mother out of the way before the story, because even though this is what I want to happen in the story, it doesn't fit the way I want the first chapter to start haha

Easy to digest (yandere! Strawhats x reader)
It’s Sanji time 🎉🎊🥳
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sanji is an observant man.
Being observant is an important trait when it comes to being a chef besides knowing how to cook. You have to make sure the food is prepared as it should be, otherwise it becomes inedible.
Sanji’s great observation skills weren’t being used on food this time…
It is you who has his attention, and he can’t help but notice how little you consume from your plate… if at all.
He may be caught up with the moss head’s rude remarks towards him, but he never missed how you nibble on whatever was on your plate before placing your fork down.
He also didn’t miss the scrunched up look on your face, showing poorly veiled disgust.
At first, he thought the worst.
He thought it was his cooking.
It had to be! Someone as perfect as you couldn’t handle his unworthy plate of sludge!
But then you made yourself a sandwich the following day despite Sanji insisting on making it for you, and your face contorted go that same disgusted expression.
As you left the barely eaten sandwich to go to the bathroom, he thought to himself.
…Was there something wrong with the food supply? Perhaps something spoiled and it wasn’t necessarily his cooking?
A small flicker of hope was visible in the blonde chef’s eyes as the thought of your disgust wasn’t a result of him.
So with that, he checked the food, the dates, the portions and cleanliness, but he found nothing out of the ordinary.
Perhaps the dishes weren’t cleaned well and it got old food residue in his cooking? He already cleans everything top to bottom… but he’ll be more thorough if it means you finally finish a plate he makes.
Present day…
Tonight’s dinner was simple but flavorful.
Sanji cooked to the right amount of time and at the right temperature. The seasoning was reasonable but gave the food enough flavor to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.
Everyone dug in immediately, never disappointed with the food that is made by Sanji, while you stared at your plate, noting the contents as you moved some food away with a fork to view the insides.
Finally, you grabbed your knife and cut a slice out of the juicy chicken before bringing it to your lips.
You nibbled some of the juicy chicken and roasted carrots before offering the rest of your food to Luffy, who smiled broadly at you.
“Is something wrong with the food, (y/n)-chwan?”
You looked away from Luffy to stare at Sanji, who sat across from you. Everyone at the table piped down a little to listen not so subtly, adding to the pit in your stomach.
“No, Sanji. The food is great.” You stated matter of factly.
“That’s a relief! Are you gonna finish?” He tilted his head while smiling enthusiastically.
“I’m not that hungry. I ate.” You said dismissively.
“Don’t shit in our mouths and call it chocolate cake, you didn’t eat anything this morning.” Zoro snorted.
Sanji scowled at the greenette before he grabbed his polished shoe off his foot and chucked it at Zoro, nailing him in the forehead. While Zoro fell over, grabbing his head in pain, Sanji turned and smiled warmly at your stunned face.
“Zoro is right, you haven’t eaten today, (Y/n)-chwan-“
“-The FUCK!?” Zoro hissed out, but Sanji ignored him.
“-you should put some food in that tummy of yours.” Sanji finished in a lovey dovey tone before snapping his head towards Luffy.
“Luffy do NOT TOUCH THAT PLATE.”
Luffy paused midway, almost touching the tip of the chicken on your plate with his finger before retracting his arm in disappointment.
You looked between Luffy and Sanji before gulping and picking up your fork.
“…I’ll try to eat.”
Nami and Chopper glanced at you worriedly, Chopper being more so nervous as you took a bite.
Despite you finally eating his food, Sanji couldn’t help but find your reluctance a bit off putting. You clearly weren’t telling him something, and it bothered him…
Everyone continued on eating and fighting off Luffy while Sanji stared at you intently. He wouldn’t be able to watch you for long though, as Zoro didn’t forget the shoe that was thrown at his head…
Nobody seen you come out of the lounge for an hour.
While Luffy, Chopper, and Usopp tried playing a game without you involved, they were visibly becoming bored and restless without you there.
Everyone was up to their own business, trying to find something distracting on this lazy day. Everyone… except Sanji.
He was in the lounge with you, cleaning the dishes while you helped him silently.
Although the rushing of water from the sink prevented most tiny sounds from being heard, it didn’t hide the strange gurgling coming from your stomach.
At first, Sanji assumed that maybe you were still hungry. But the moment he entertained the idea of preparing a second plate, you shut him down with a horrified “no!”, which was followed by you correcting your tone.
This once again made Sanji think that his food was the problem, and it didn’t help that your face turning an unhealthy color…
Oh.
Oh shit.
Sanji quickly turned to study your face more closely. While you were focused on scrubbing the food off the plate, your hands were shivering violently as your (s/c) flesh gained an unhealthy hue.
“(Y/n), are you ok?” Sanji asked despite knowing the obvious.
You opened your mouth to speak before your body wrenched forward. Your bandaged hand quickly covered your mouth as you turned to the trash can before gripping the edges and vomiting into it.
Sanji was quick to rush to your side as you shook violently. You were spitting, gagging, and vomiting until there was nothing left, leaving your stomach empty and twisted.
The entire time, Sanji rubbed your back and comforted you. He was naturally grossed out by the vomit, but his worry and guilt overpowered that instinctual disgust tenfold.
‘I forced them to eat that sludge I dare called lunch…’ he thought to himself.
Something must be wrong with the food! The way he cooks! Everything!
As carefully as he could, he led you to a chair to settle in while he poured you a glass of cold water.
Sweat was forming on your face as your leg bounced. Sanji immediately approached you and leaned over to swipe the hair out of your face, completely unbothered by the sweat sticking to his hand.
“…I’m sorry, Sanji…”
Sanji’s heart melted more than it already did as he gently placed the glass on the table.
“Oh (Y/n), it was my fault for feeding you that garbage. I clearly didn’t make any of my food even close to being edible, so don’t be sorry for my own ignorance.” Sanji said sweetly.
“Your food is amazing, Sanji. I just can’t handle food in general.” You sighed.
You were feeling relief as the stomach upset passed slowly, but it left a sickly pit in your stomach… one that needed to be filled with food.
“What do you mean by that?” Sanji asked.
“I… I have what you’d call a sensitive stomach.” You smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of your head.
“I basically can’t handle any heavy foods, greasy food, milk, bread… super salty food…” you covered your face with your hand.
“Your food is delicious… but some of it has stuff I can’t keep down…” you finished.
Sanji blinked once. Twice. Three times.
…that’s it?
A sensitive tummy?
That’s why you couldn’t keep your food down?
“With all due respect, (Y/n)-chwan… Why didn’t you tell me this? I could’ve made you a dish specifically for your dietary needs.” He asked gently, trying not to guilt you.
“You already work so hard to provide amazing food and you have a ship full of people to feed, I couldn’t stack strict requirements on that.” You muttered.
Sanji’s heart swelled at that.
“Oh (Y/n)-chwan, you’re so thoughtful and generous! I’m happy you keep my well-being in mind~” he swooned.
“…but that won’t stop me from making you a dish fit for your needs. What kind of chef would I be if I can’t serve suitable meals for all walks of life?” He frowned a little before replacing it with his usual smile.
“Now! Sit right there, drink that glass of water, and relax! I’ll whip you something up fit for your belly!”
“Wait, Sanji. You don’t have-“
“(Y/n)… you must eat.” Sanji said with a hint of something in his voice that you couldn’t quite decipher.
“Now tell me… what it is you can digest.”
~~~~~~~~~~
I’m so sorry for the long wait. Truly.
No excuse other than procrastination.

Carlisle began to feel himself worry as you took longer than usual to get to the door. He looked inside the windows that were covered with sheer curtains and tried to make out your figure. He sighed and banged on the door a few more times. After a few moments, his worry washed away hearing your cat meow at the door. Slowly, the locks turned and you opened the door, smiling brightly.
“Good Morning Doc.” You smiled at him.
“I almost broke the door down.”
“Ah.” You let him in and slowly walked to your favorite sofa. “Not quite used to getting up this early.”
Carlisle shivered and set the tupperware on the dining room table. “It’s freezing in here.”
You nodded in agreement. “That's also why it was so hard to get up, my body is aching. Carlisle frowned and walked to the thermostat. He saw it was set to sixty and winced. “It’s October, it should be at least seventy in here.”
“I forgot.”
“Mhm” he hummed and walked back over to you, stepping over your hairless cat named chicken. “You didn’t forget to take your medicine, did you, Y/n?”
You shook your head. “Couldn't forget the bitter taste if I wanted.” Using what body strength you had, you walked to the dining table. “What's on the menu doc?”
Carlisle smiled and unwrapped the pan with foil. “Biscuits, bacon and eggs.”
“Yum.” You allowed him to help you into the dining chair.
Carlisle brought out his bag and watched you dig into the food. He took out his stethoscope and began monitoring your heart beating. After verifying your breathing was okay, he wrote some things down in the notebook.
“Everything normal?” You asked.
“Yes. I need to check your blood pressure. And you said you were aching right?”
“Yes.”
Carlisle began pressing softly into your arms, your torso, and everytime he pressed a sore spot you hissed. He frowned and continued his inspections as you ate, nodding as he came to a consensus. “You need to start icing your knees.” He wrote in his notebook again. You paused mid chew and looked at him. “Okay for how long?”
“You need an icing machine.”
You sighed, “I can't afford that.”
Carlisle closed his notebook. “Your insurance will cover it.”
“They won't.”
“You'll never know if you don't call and ask. If they cover these visits then they'll cover an ice machine I prescribe you.”
You nodded. Carlisle sensed the embarrassment. He knew you weren’t particularly fond of his visits. It was depressing having him come every week and see you rot away inside a house that was so far away from the rest of Forks.
“I'll come back for lunch. But before I go.” He takes out a glass jar and sets it on the counter. “You need to take this.  It was a gelatin-like substance inside.
“What's this?” You inspected the jar.
“Minerals, Vitamins. The good stuff your body needs.” Carlisle kneeled to your height and untwisted the jar. “A spoonful. After every meal.” He took a spoon and dipped it into the gelatin and held it to your mouth.
“It looks nasty.”
“Y/n, it's no different than sea moss. ever heard of that?” You huffed and took a bite of the sweet gelatin, nodding in approval after seeing it wasn’t so bad.
 “After every meal?
“I'll be checking to see how much is left, got it?”
“Yes doc.”
After he left, you spent your time curled up in a book, then began the movie marathon your cousin had sent you in the mail after discovering you were sick and alone. You had a mild form of malabsorption. It wasn't bad to the point you couldn't go outside, it was more your body was deteriorating from the inside out. Your bones were prone to breaking and your body had a hard time keeping up with your surroundings. Eventually working became too much and you had to settle down in Forks. Luckily your parents owned the home you lived in, and paid for that, but unfortunately that was it. Other expenses were paid for by the government and in Forks the aid wasn't the best.
During the movie you felt your eyelids growing heavy. It wasn’t close to your naptime yet, but you decided it wouldn’t hurt to take a nap. Just for an hour.
Hours later you slowly opened your eyes to hear beeping and muffled voices. Confusion wracked your brain as you thought you were at home alone. Your eyesight cleared up and you saw the white hospital room, a drip stand, and Max curled into your side. It happened again.
You sighed and threw your legs on the side of the bed, Grabbing a hold of the drip stand, and making your way out of the hospital room.
“Y/n!” You heard a familiar voice.
You groaned as your body ached while you were turning around.  “I'm just going to check myself out.”
“You're not checking yourself out.” Carlisle scolded. “You're staying here.”
“I hate it here!” You half-yelled. “I’m not staying here.”
“You give me no choice Y/n.” He sighed. “I found you passed out again. What would've happened if I didn't come for lunch, hm? It's dangerous for you to live alone.”
You bit your cheeks as he scolded you. He was right.  “So you’re gonna send me to Seattle with the loonies?”
Carlisle smiled and shook his head. He guided you back to your hospital room and closed the door behind the two of you. “This may be inappropriate. But as you know I have a house, and some land.” He started. “On that land I have an unused guest house, usually for my cousins when they visit the family.
You pondered his offer at first. You didn't want to leave your home but again, you didn't want to be sent down to seattle. “Okay.” You accepted.
Carlisle looked taken aback from your quick response. “Are you absolutely sure?”
“Don’t make me think about it. Let’s just do it.”
By the end of the week you were moved into the guest house. It was really fancy, so fancy it had no place in a town like Forks. Majority of the home was made of reinforced glass like the main house, but the plethora of trees on the property gave you more than enough privacy.
You met his son named Emmett and he helped you move all of your things in. He reminded you of someone you’d gone to college with a few years back.
"Thought you had a full house?" You asked.
"I do," Carlisle said. "They're just in Italy for an annual festival.”
“And here you are missing out because of me. Sure they’ll be okay seeing the reason you couldn’t go?”
Carlisle chuckled and shook his head. “I’ve been to Italy every year since I was a boy, one year won’t kill me.” He saw the slight frown on your face, leaned back and sighed.
"Hey..." He started." I wouldn't choose this profession if I cried over every event I missed out on.”
He noticed the expression on your face isnt letting up so he smiled at you and nudged your arm.“How about I cook you dinner. As a welcome.”
You nodded, thinking the least you could do is accept his dinner.
His kitchen was one of the nicest kitchens you'd ever seen. The ones you'd see in the movies. He opened his pristine fridge and pulled out some meat wrapped in paper.
“Fresh cut. Got it yesterday.” He commented before putting the meat in the stainless steel pan. You looked around his kitchen and home in awe. Your parents worked their entire life to afford the house they put you in, but Carlisle was only in his 40s and was able to attain a life like this.
“Feeling Asparagus or Broccoli.”
You gagged slightly, “Broccoli please.”
“Take it you’re not a big fan of asparagus.”
“Never have been.”
You watched him pull out a broccoli floret from the fridge and begin to chop it as the meat cooked behind him. “You must have a whole farmers market in there.” You said.
“I try my best to drive out to nicer grocery stores to get this stuff. One thing I had to adjust to when I moved my family here.”
“Why did you come here?” You asked curiously. His expression changed slightly and he went silent. He walked over to the stove to flip the meat. “Needed to settle. Away from a larger population.” He stated.
“Needed a peace of mind. I get it. I probably still would give anything to leave this place.”
“And where?” He smiled slightly. “Portland, if I wanted to stay close. But reaching for the stars. Colorado.”
“The city or the mountains.”
“The mountains. 100%”
After a few minutes of small talk he sliced up the steak and set it on a plate for you along with some broccoli and mashed potatoes. You thanked him and dug in, but after a few moments you noticed he wasn’t eating. “Are you not eating as well?”
He shook his head. “I ate earlier.”
You raised your eyebrow, knowing you saw him most of the day and didn't see him eat, but you decided to let it go. Carlisle walked over to the fridge and pulled out that same jar of gelatin he’s been giving you.
You groaned and he smiled at your response. “You know what time it is.” He took out a large spoon and took a spoonful of it, handing it to you.
At night in your new bed you watched as all the lights in the main house were shut off, leaving you alone in the darkness with only the trees outside to give you comfort.
You stared at the ceiling, thinking about the decision you made to live with Carlisle instead of going to hospice. It was stupid to say, but you trusted him more than most of your relatives. He could take better care of you than any nurse. Even though you trusted Carlisle's judgment, and felt comfortable being nearby, you found yourself unable to sleep in this new environment.
Hours went by, endless tossing and turning, and you still couldn't sleep. You stood and went downstairs, scoping out the house as if you hadn't done it already. You shivered and a chill ran up your spine. Turning around you saw one of the windows was left open, letting the cool air fall inside. You walked over to close the window, but paused hearing a snap and a whimper of an animal in the distance. You looked around in horror, wondering what was killed, and who killed it. Forks was known for having freakishly large wolf sightings, and the fact you were practically in the middle of the forest freaked you out. You locked the windows and went around the house making sure everything was secure. Once you got to the last window you paused, seeing something in the distance, standing in the only hint of moonlight that came from the trees.
Your heart clutched in your chest seeing your doctor…or at least someone who looked like him, standing shirtless with blood covering his chest. You stood frozen, hoping that you wouldn’t trigger the man to come running towards you. You slowly reached over and pulled the blinds down, putting a barrier between you two before dashing up the stairs. Max meowed at you as you scooped him up and went inside your room, closing and locking the door. Under the covers you curled up, hoping that maybe you were just sleep deprived and seeing things. But a lot of strange things happened in the mountains. You heard the stories of the Appalachian Mountains, so maybe the same applied in washington.
The next morning you were woken with hard knocks at the door. Max was pawing at the door.
“Sorry.” You climbed out of bed and opened the door to see Carlisle standing in his scrubs. He had breakfast on a tray.
“Heard your cat wailing so…decided to just come upstairs.”
You sighed and rubbed your head in frustration, cursing your negligence. “Sorry. I saw something last night and it freaked me out. Didn’t want him roaming the house.” You said watching your cat slip out the room.
“What did you see Y/n?”
You shook your head and sat at the desk that was on the opposite end of the room. “Probably nothing.”
Carlisle sat the breakfast on the desk in front of you and curled his eyebrow. “Probably nothing?”
“Isn’t it like a rule that says if you see something, no you didn’t and if you hear something no you didn't?”
Carlisle let out a hearty laugh, holding his stomach. You got flustered at his laughter, noting that you probably sounded even more crazy or ominous than you meant to.  “I think that only applies to the east.”
You sighed and chuckled slightly, breaking off a piece of bacon. “Okay so…I think I heard an animal break…”
“Break?”
“Like…I heard this weird snap and then a small cry, then silence.”
Carlile nodded along. “Is that it? Could've been some coyotes. Wolves.”
“That's what I thought…but I think…I saw a man.”
“A man?”
“Covered in blood, it was coming from his mouth like he was eating something. And he had on no shirt so it was all over his chest too.”
Carlisle’s eyes flashed, but he smiled. “On this property? I would certainly hope not. I’ll probably have Charlie come and check it out.”
You shook your head. “You can't tell anyone. I don’t want people freaking out.”
‘“Hey.” He kneeled before you. “I want you to feel safe during your stay here. I don’t want you locking you or your cat in your room every night to feel safe. Maybe it’s one of those addicts.”
You nodded. A lot of druggies found themselves wandering from the city to Forks. Almost all of the crime in this town came from said transplants, but one massive offense and we had grounds to send them right back.
“My family comes home tonight.”
“Oh really? Well, i'll try to stay out the way-”
“No. I was going to ask you to come to the main house for dinner. And meet them.”
You felt nervous at the prospect of meeting his family.
“I'm just a patient.”
“You're not!” He exclaimed. “You are a distinguished guest, a neighbor. You deserve to be surrounded by people. It’s good for you.”
Before you could respond he stood and tapped on the spoonful of gelatin he had in a bowl. “Eat that. And I'll see you tonight at dinner, yes?” You watched him leave your room, a little taken aback by his sudden departure.
Carlisle grabbed his bag on the way out of your home and walked on the pathway that connected the guesthouse to the main house. Once he was sure he was out of your sight he went right back into the main house, kicking off his shoes and heading downstairs to the basement. He went down another flight of stairs and sighed as he stripped down to his underwear, changing into the hazard suit he had sitting next to the door. After changing, he opened the heavy door and stepped inside. Inside was another kitchen-like area, everything was stainless steel. On the table was the deer he’d killed last night. He wasn’t worried at all that you’d seen him last night. It was late, you were tired, and the way you told the story you didn’t even believe it yourself.  He got to work at skinning the deer, ignoring all the blood that was beginning to make a mess everywhere. After putting elbow grease into baring the deer, he took a seat and huffed.
Hours went by, all spent in the basement, making the perfect cuts for this week's dinner. He packaged all of the parts separately and put them in the large industrial fridge, all labeled based on day and time.
He grumbled seeing he was running low on beef, his ‘vendor’ being late for the week. He took meal prepping for you very seriously. Portions and balancing out your nutrients was most important. Even if you didn't eat all the food, you were still being nourished.
Upstairs, the faint sound of his children coming back home sounded into the basement below. That was a sign that it was almost time to start cooking. He took off the hazmat suit and sat down on a sterilized chair. He used a tourniquet and rubbed the inside of his elbow with an alcohol pad. He took one of the four laid out syringes and began drawing his own blood. He never felt the effects of drawing so much blood at once, but he knew it was for a good purpose, he pushed himself so you didn’t have to. Once finished, he placed the tray of syringes in another cooler, right next to an unbonded gelatin mix.
You woke up from your nap feeling refreshed, energized enough to go to the bathroom and wash up a bit before dinner. Across the way the lights in the main house were on and you saw the figures of people walking around. You picked up your cat and stroked his head. “Looks like we’ll have some new friends soon.”
The walk to the main house was peaceful, the path lights were beginning to turn on and the sun was setting. Holding Max, you knocked on the door. A few moments went by, then a short girl opened the door.  She smiled brightly and stepped aside. “You must be Y/n.”
You nodded. “And your name is?”
“Alice,” She said. She then pointed to a taller blonde man next to her. “And this is my lover, Jasper.”
You waved slightly, but he only stared down at you. You chuckled nervously, but sighed in relief seeing Carlisle making a beeline to you. “I see you met Jasper and Alice.” He placed his arm around your shoulders and guided you to his living room.
“I hope you like what’s on tonight's menu.” He reached down to the coffee table and handed you a glass of wine. You began to decline but he gave you ‘that look’ reassuring you it was okay for you to do so. In came Emmett, with a blond haired girl. “This is Emmet’s wife, Rosalie.”
You smiled softly and waved again. “Hi. I’m Y/n.”
Rosalie looked you up and down, then looked at Emmett. Emmett nodded and she looked back at you with a smile. “Nice to have some fresh meat around here.”
“Oh, be nice.” Carlisle slightly scolded.
The family was dressed in more fancy attire, which made you stand out because you weren’t from a family that took washing up before dinner seriously. Here they had on dresses and dress shirts while you had on a long cardigan, a pajama shirt and lounge pants. You sipped your wine as Carlisle caressed your shoulder in a comforting manner.
For a whole, you sat and talked with his kids, noting how similar their mannerisms were.
“I don’t really like the city.” Alice said. “I rather spend my time around nature to feel more connected.”
“Cities have parks.” Rosalie chimed in.
“Yes, but it's not the same. The air is just different. I can tell.”
The two began slightly bickering and you smiled at the interaction. Carlisle leaned over and began whispering in your ear. “They do this almost every dinner. Might have to get used to this.” He said.
“Get used to?”
Carlile nodded, “I don’t want you feeling this is some temporary stay. If you like it you should stay.”
“I don’t want to impose.”
“I know you don’t want to. But look at yourself. You’re improving, getting better and you don’t even realize it.”
You nodded along. Ever since you got here you noticed slight changes in your energy levels and your appearance. The most obvious dark under eyes went away, so that’s a win in your book.
He shook your shoulder slightly. “Ready for dinner?”
You nodded.
On the menu was a medium well venison with dinner rolls, beef stew, and roasted potatoes. You loved hearty meals, so you wasted no time cutting into the venison. You looked around and saw the family hesitantly eating, their food was rare, and you shook your head. Emmett noticed and spoke up. “Never seen a family eat rare venison?”
“No. I’m not a rare girl, medium or more. I can’t eat raw bloody things.”
Rosalie began chuckling and Alice glared at her. You heard Max purring, and looked over to see your cat by the basement door. You looked back and saw Carlisle intently watching too.
“Oh is he not supposed to be over there?”
“It’s fine.” He said.
The dinner went better than you thought. Carlisle’s family was really nice and they talked to you as if you were one of their own, but all good things came to an end, and eventually it was time for bed.
“I’ll walk you back to the guest house.” Carlisle approached you at the door.
“It's fine.” You protested while holding your cat. “It's a few feet.”
“A few feet in the darkness.”
You sighed and nodded, knowing he wasn’t gonna let up. After waving goodbye to his kids, the two of you walked silently on the trail. “I hope dinner was to your liking.”
“It was.” You smiled. “I always enjoy your cooking.”
He smiled. “I thought next week we’d change it up and start giving you some seafood.”
“Salmon?” You perked up. “I can get you salmon.”
He escorted you inside the guest house and closed the door behind you two. He went to the fridge and pulled out the gelatin he always insisted you ate. At this rate you were used to it, so you walked over. He already had a spoonful and you quickly leaned forward and took it, giggling as you watched his shocked expression.
“I assume you’ll be taking me to my formal appointment tomorrow?”
Carlile nodded, placing the mixture back into the fridge.
“I’ll have to draw some blood, just as a forewarning.”
Pt. 2 coming soon....

The Moss that Grew in Gloom
Chapter 3: Training and Teaching
Start From Beginning | Next Chapter | Masterlist | Read on AO3
A/N: After a LONG LONG time...I've finally updated this. I'm so sorry it has been so long. Thank you everyone for your patience :) ily all, I WILL be updating this more frequently! Summary: As the daughter of the best swordsman in the world, your life has been a lonely one. You've never minded the quiet life, until a mossy-haired swordsman falls to your island and shakes things up. Word Count: 3.5k Characters: female reader x Zoro --
The next morning, you rose early. You checked over Nikko, making sure all of the teeth on its flat were still in perfect condition. The last thing you needed was your father scolding you for not treating your blade properly.
You bounded down the steps for breakfast, and when you saw your father sitting at the dining table, you held out your blade so that the tip pointed at him.
“You ready old man?” You had a devious look dancing in your playful eyes, and your father's lips tugged upwards at the corners.
“Eat first, and then we’ll get started.”
You grabbed some toast and eggs and sat across from him, doing your best not to eat too quickly.
Your father watched you carefully while you ate, waiting for the right moment. “What happened between you and Roronoa yesterday?” he finally asked.
You shrugged, shoveling eggs into your mouth. You swallowed before you spoke, knowing how much he hated when you spoke with your mouth full.
“He said he wasn’t coming back until he figured it out.”
Your father turned to look out the window, his eyes narrowing slightly. “I see.”
“Why?” You took a bite of toast, looking between him and the window.
“It seems he kept his word.”
You tried not to choke on your food. “He didn’t come back?”
“It doesn’t look that way.”
Your eyes gazed out the window for a moment, wondering what fate he met last night. “Good riddance,” you said with a mouthful of bread. Served him right to spend a night in the cold.
Your father shot you a look, though you weren’t sure if it was because of your response or the food in your mouth. You took a long swig of water to wash your meal down, and then stood.
“Let’s go.”
Your father scowled at your eagerness. “You should wait thirty-”
“You scared?” you taunted back.
Your father rolled his eyes at your words. Taunts never worked with him, but it was still fun to see his expression. He rose, following your lead. “I will not be merciful if you get a cramp during our match.”
“Good!” you shouted back to him, bounding out the door. “I would be offended if you did!”
You walked out to the clearing you and your father had created years ago, when you both first came to this island. It had served as your training grounds then, and served as an occasional sparring match between you two now.
“You sure you don’t want to warm up first?” Your father asked. But he knew your answer already, and he pulled Yoru off his back.
You grinned at his blade and unsheathed Nikko. It was small and slender, especially compared to your father’s blade. Most people would probably assume Nikko would shatter in a fight against such a strong blade. But most people didn’t know what you were capable of.
You sent out a flurry of air slashes, trying to corner your father into taking a specific route to you. But of course, as the greatest swordsman in the world, he could see right through that movement. He countered them, sending flurries of air strikes back your way. He moved closely behind them, trying to close the distance between you two.
But his speciality was short range, and you jumped back to keep your distance. You knew you could only get in close enough one time to strike before Yoru would take you out, and you maintained the distance between you two, no matter how you had to maneuver.
The two of you sparred like that for thirty minutes, a constant equal battle with neither party willing to give an inch. You knew your haki would run out before his, but you still had plenty reserved to keep fighting. If you could just make one move he’s not anticipating, you could get in close and maybe actually scare him. You deflected his blows while working to create your own opening, trying to find an opportunity to take advantage of.
Finally you saw it: a path that-if you get through at just the right angle-you could get in close. You jumped at the opportunity, sacrificing a few scratches on your arm and across your cheek to make it there. You got in close and jabbed at your father, aiming to kill him. If only Zoro was here to see how quickly you were able to get to the greatest swordsman in the world, he would never question you again.
You could see the flash of surprise in your fathers eyes at your sudden approach, which quickly melted into the familiar gaze of disappointment. You’ve missed something vital, but there’s no time to stop yourself. He swiftly dodged your jab, and then used his free hand to grab your arm. He twisted it, forcing you to drop Nikko as you cried out in pain from the sudden motion.
Your sword clanged to the ground, your hand still stuck in your father’s grasp. You tried to  pull away from him, but he held tightly.
“Let’s go again,” you huffed out, wincing from the pain in your arm.
“No more sparring today.” Your father’s voice was firm and final.
“We just started!”
“And you’re already distracted.”
The opening had been a decoy. You should’ve known that your father wouldn’t have given you an opening so quickly. You had been hopeful that he had made a rusty mistake. But Dracule Mihawk didn’t make mistakes.
He dropped your hand and placed Yoru on his back, turning to return to the castle. “Go find Roronoa,” he said simply. “That seems to be weighing heavily on your mind.”
You had barely broken a sweat from your sparring, and you were irritated it was over so quickly. But you knew your father, and you knew he wouldn’t budge on the matter. You sheathed your sword and scanned the forest, trying to decide the best course of action. You didn’t want to be the solo search party for a man who could get lost in a hallway, but you had to admit you were a little worried about him for that exact reason. Your best bet would be to return to where you last left him and track him from there.
You wandered into the forest, heading for your old meditation spot. You could feel the presence of several baboons standing just out of your vision, watching you. They had no hostile intentions, which was unfortunate. You were itching for a good fight, but you guessed the baboons knew that, which is why they left you alone.
You made it to the ruins quickly, but of course luck was not on your side. You jumped to the highest point on a nearby building and scanned the area, looking for moss green amongst the rubble, but there was no sign of Zoro.
You cupped your hands around your mouth and took a deep breath. “Zoro!” you screamed out as loud as you could. “Where are you?!”
Only a flock of birds reacted, scared by the sound of your voice. You groaned and dropped back down to the ground and walked over to where you last remembered him standing.
Your father had taught you how to track, both on the sea and on land. You had thought it was useless back then, but now you were thankful for his teaching. You could see Zoro’s boot prints walking away, soft points in the soil that had been disturbed by his presence. It seemed he walked away calmly. At least there weren’t any baboons that had attacked him here.
You followed his trail to the edge of the forest, where it became quickly obvious where he had gone. Vines and leaves were sliced, branches cut with the smooth edge of a sword…Zoro wasn’t exactly subtle when he walked through the woods. At least it made your job easier.
You found him lying in a field, staring up at the sky. You hurried over to him, thinking the worst may have happened to him. But his eyes were open, and he looked deep in concentration. You saw his eyebrow twitch when you stepped on a twig, but he simply mumbled something to himself and kept his eyes on the dark clouds above him.
“Zoro?” you whispered, approaching him slowly.
He groaned, sitting up and turning to face you. His face was full of shame. “I can’t get it,” he said.
“Huh?”
“The haki thing,” he said. “I can’t make it work yet.”
“That’s okay,” you said, sitting in front of him. You reached for his hand, but he yanked his hand away from your reach.
He scowled at you. “I didn’t progress. I shouldn’t be rewarded for failure.”
“Shut up,” you said. “I’m not going to give you a massage.”
You held your hands out, your palms facing him. “Copy my movements.”
He raised an eyebrow, but rested his palms against yours without any further grumbling. You closed your eyes, and he closed his as well. You took a deep, even breath, and a moment later you heard Zoro do the same. A soft breeze blew through your hair, sending goosebumps across your skin.
“Can you feel the places where your body is touching the ground?” you asked.
“Of course I can.” Zoro was questioning your motives, but you could tell he was trying to understand.
“You can’t force haki,” you explained, ignoring his attitude. “It’s a part of you. An extension of oneself. In order to allow haki to flow through you, you have to allow yourself to be willing to flow.”
“Myself willing to flow?” he asked. You could hear the confusion in his voice.
You tried to explain it in another way. “Like your blood flowing through your body, imagine that tingling sensation of haki flowing the same way. From your heart to your fingertips.”
You sat there quietly for a few moments, and you could feel his fingertips start to tense again.
“Zoro,” you chided. “Relax.”
You pushed your hands against his, and you felt his muscles lock into place and tighten against your touch. You sighed, pulling your hands away from him and opening your eyes.
“I’m trying!” he said, exasperated. “You keep distracting me!”
“I’m trying to help you!”
“I know!” He opened his eyes, meeting yours for a moment before darting away. “You’re still distracting though!”
You thought you could see a hint of pink appear across his cheeks, but you weren’t sure why he was embarrassed.
“Everyone struggles with haki at first,” you explained, trying to ease his embarrassment. “You have to rethink how you act and react. It’s nothing to be ashamed of.”
“I’m not ashamed. I’m just frustrated.”
“Let’s try something different,” you offered. You placed your hands on your knees, nodding at Zoro to do the same. He followed suit, and you closed your eyes, hoping he continued following along. “You know that feeling you get in your muscles when I massage them at night?”
“Why are you bringing that up now?!?” You could hear the fluster in his voice, and you stifled back a giggle.
“I just mean how relaxed your arms feel, how that relaxation flows from your shoulder and down your arm into your wrist, and then into your fingertips. That feeling?”
“Oh,” Zoro said. “Yeah, that feeling.”
“And the tingling sensation you got right before you dodged my attacks yesterday?”
“Right.”
“Do you think you can combine them?” you asked, eyes still closed.
“Combine them?”
You hummed. You didn’t want to give him too much direction, or else he wouldn’t be able to make the feeling his own.
He was silent for a while, and you sat in silence with him. You could feel him tense, and then force himself to relax again and again as he struggled to find the correct middle of flow and concentration.
You opened your eyes, watching him focus without commentary or judgment. It’s how your father had done it with you, the two of you sitting amongst rubble a few years ago as you struggled to find the correct balance. Now you were the teacher, trying to remember all of the things your father had taught you so long ago.
You sat there unmoving for several hours, waiting for Zoro to succeed or give up for the day, when finally you saw a small patch of metallic substance coat his hand. You held in the urge to scream out praise, not wanting to break his concentration.
Zoro must’ve sensed that he did something right, because his eyes snapped open, staring at his hand in awe.
“Keep going,” you whispered to him.
His eyes glanced up at you, startled at your presence. But he didn’t lose his haki focus, and you nodded in encouragement, wanting him to continue further. You both watched as he expanded and extended the haki up to his elbow.
Your eyes widened, and a smile spread across your face and you watched him. He was able to hold the armament for about a minute before he lost it, too exhausted to keep up that level of haki emittance.
“That was amazing!” you said, springing forward and grabbing him in a hug.
“Hey-I-” Zoro stiffened, lost for words. “It’s not a big deal, get off!”
You pulled away from the embrace still grinning. “It took me like a week to perfect at that level!”
“It’s not perfect,” Zoro said, and you laughed at him.
“Stop criticizing yourself! Just celebrate your victory! We have plenty of time to keep training.”
He looked at you, his face full of shock and questions. You were starting to realize that Zoro spent a majority of his life in some state of confusion.
“What?” you asked.
“I just don’t feel like I can celebrate until I’m the best,” he said.
“That’s stupid,” you said simply. “You’re allowed to celebrate more than just your life goal. And this is worthy of celebration.”
He looked at his hands. “How do I push the haki into the blades?”
Your smile started to fade. You were finally coming to terms with the fact that Roronoa Zoro wasn’t the kind of man to take breaks, even when he needed them.
“I’m not telling you,” you said, frowning at him.
He gritted his teeth. “I need to keep moving forward. Luffy-”
“Will see you in two years,” you finished. “You aren’t going to get anywhere if you don’t stop to comprehend what you’re doing. Or recover from your exhaustion.”
A part of you couldn’t blame him for being so eager. You had been that way when you first learned haki too. Your father had to carry you back home every night while you practiced perfecting and strengthening the method.
“Listen,” you said. “Tomorrow we’ll start working on strengthening your haki. It’s a lot like strengthening muscles, which you are clearly not a stranger to.” Your eyes couldn’t help gazing down at his shirtless chest and toned arms.
“Today, let’s celebrate,” you continued. Your eyes flicked back up to his, hoping to persuade him to take a break. You could see that his cheeks were flushed, and you could feel heat rush into your own face in response.
“How are we celebrating?” He asked. He sounded nervous, which was strange to you.
“You like wine right?” You could see his eyes light up at the mention of alcohol. “I have an idea. I’ll come get you after the others go to sleep.”
“That sounds like a long time to wait for a celebration,” he grumbled.
You jumped to your feet, and he rose to his. You all walked quietly back to the castle, not saying anything. You could tell that Zoro was proud of himself for learning how to use armament haki. He didn’t say anything or hold himself any different, but he kept gazing down at his hand, flexing it and smirking at the thought of success.
You all were almost to the door of your home before either of you spoke.
Zoro cleared his throat. “Thank you,” he choked out. “You really helped me out today.”
You smiled and shrugged. A strange warmth blossomed in your chest, but you ignored it. “You would’ve gotten it on your own eventually,” you said.
He laughed dryly. “I’m not sure I would’ve,” he admitted.
“You’re right,” you agreed, and he shot you a baffled look. “You’re pretty stubborn,” you teased, smirking up at him.
“Oh, shut up,” he rolled his eyes, and you busted out laughing as you opened the door.
“You’re late,” your father scolded from the dining room.
“Sorry, sorry!” you said, still smiling as you walked in the door and to the set table.
Mihawk’s eyes darted from you to Zoro and back to you again, but he said nothing more about your delayed arrival. The four of you ate dinner in silence like usual, until Perona spoke up.
“So, Zoro, where have you been exactly?” Perona asked. “You’ve been missing for 24 hours!”
Zoro’s eye twitched. “I got lost.”
You bit your lip to prevent a laugh from escaping, but you couldn’t hide the smile forming on your lips in its place.
“What’s so funny, Y/N?!?” Perona demanded. “I was really worried about him! Our room was lonely last night!”
You’re not sure why, but your mouth falls open from her comment, a pit slowly forming in your stomach. You hadn’t taken much interest in Zoro’s or Perona’s sleeping arrangements, but you were shocked to find they were sleeping in the same room. There were so many empty rooms in this castle, and yet they were sharing a room. It didn’t sit right with you, though you weren’t sure why.
“Yeah,” Zoro commented. “I enjoyed the peace and quiet.”
“You were outside!” Perona screeched.
“Better than your never ending rambling!” Zoro snapped back, a vein popping out on his forehead.
Perona gasped. She slammed her hands down on the table and rose, storming away and up the stairs.
“Might want to reconcile with your girlfriend,” you mumbled.
You weren’t sure why you added such a formal title to their relationship. All signs had pointed to Zoro and Perona being enemies, not lovers, but perhaps you had misread the situation.
“She’s not my girlfriend!” he yelled, and you glared at him for using such a tone. He noticed your glare, and lowered his voice slightly. “She’s just some pest who won’t leave me alone.”
“The girl does seem very codependent,” your father added, agreeing with Zoro.
“I don’t even know her,” Zoro grumbled. “I met her like…three days before we got here.”
Your heart lightened at the new information that had been given to you. You were relieved to know that Zoro found Perona as annoying as you did. At least you weren’t alone in that feeling.
“If you are not happy with your current accommodations, you are welcome to pick any available room on the third story,” your father stated.
“I think I’ll take you up on that offer,” Zoro nodded.
“If you can find the third story,” you said, giving him a teasing grin.
“I’ll take you to collect your things and choose a room now, if you’re done with dinner,” your father said, ignoring your comment.
“That’d be great,” Zoro said. “The sooner I get out of there the better.”
The two men went off to change Zoro’s room, and you took the opportunity to steal away to the wine cellar. You grabbed two bottles of wine and two glasses, and then scurried back to your room.
You leisurely read in your room, listening to the scuffling of furniture above you. After about an hour, a knock came from your door. It was your father’s knock, a secret code you all had made up years ago.
“Come in.”
The door cracked open, and your father’s face peeked in. “Roronoa is moved into his new room.”
You smiled. “Thanks for letting me know.”
He stared at you for a moment, as if he were debating adding more to the topic. Whatever he was considering saying was never said, because he changed the subject. “I’m heading to bed now.”
“It’s way past your bedtime,” you scolded, looking at the clock.
You saw a faint smirk appear across your father’s face, but he began to shut the door without saying any more.
“Dad, wait,” you called with a slight urgency in your voice. The door reopened swiftly at the sound of your voice, and your father’s eyes reappeared.
“Yes?”
“I’m sorry I was distracted today,” you said, casting your eyes downward in shame. “You gave me a good opportunity to train and I screwed it up.”
“We all have off days,” he said. “Tomorrow is a new opportunity. Just don’t get distracted.”
You nodded and gave him another smile. “Goodnight, dad.”
“Goodnight.” He disappeared behind the door and shut it with a soft click.
You smiled softly to yourself. Tonight, you would celebrate with Zoro. Tomorrow was a new day.

I’ve been wondering does Zosan x reader kids ever ask them if Chopper is their big brother? And if they say he’s not quite that he’s a value member of the crew, so the kids ask why they don’t adopt him since he seems to be closer to them, especially to Zoro and because Chopper either runs to him, Sanji, or reader when something happens?
I mean look at this baby!! Who wouldn’t want to adopt him right away?! 🥹🥰

Oh Chopper my sweet baby boy. I'm so happy to do this, I took some creative liberties with it though so i hope you don't mind.
Reader is Female (Sorry), Zoro X Sanji X Reader, Poly relationship, established relationship. Their daughter is Kuina a 5 year old blonde haired girl with Sanji's eyebrows but reader's eye's and skin tone.
Warning: bad language, Hurt/comfort and Fluff.
Tumblr media
Luckily for the blonde haired girl she managed to avoid all three of her parents on the way into the medical office, she scrapped her knee while running around with Luffy and Usopp, she didn't tell the two about it, just that she was tired. Kuina knows they'll tell her parents who will react like they always do, her blonde daddy will freak out and fuss over her, her moss headed dad will glare mainly at uncle nose for letting it happen while her mother will try and control the situation all while trying to comfort her daughter. It doesn't matter if its a broken bone or a simple cut, she finds they overreact too much, Chopper on the other hand doesn't, he just deals with the problem. After cleaning out the cut and putting a band aid on it Kuina was good to go, with a large smile she jumps off the chair and hugs the doctor "Thanks Brother, i'm gonna go play now, do you want to join?" She asks pulling away to see the reindeer's wide eye'd expression, its true she see's him as a bother, but she's never called him that before, her smile drops at his face going from shocked to sad. "Kuina, I'm not your brother" Chopper states not knowing how to deal with the situation, Kuina looks at him confused before grabbing his hand and stepping closer "Not by blood but i think of you as my brother, Mum, Dad and Daddy also treat you like your theirs too so... can't we be siblings?" She asks with hope in her voice but Chopper sighs and leads her over to the chair getting her to sit down, so he can explain things to her. "They only treat me that way because other than you, i'm the youngest of the crew, In their eyes i'm a child but not their child"
Kuina sinks into her chair feeling slightly deflated by his words but shakes her head "That's not true, they treat you like they treat me." She tries to make him see it her way but Chopper hops up onto the chair in front of her holding her hands tight "Do you have parents? is that why we can't be siblings?" She asks trying to understand, the doctor looks up surprised at her words but decides to tell her hoping she will understand "I do but… you see before i ate the devil fruit i was just a normal deer but after, my parents and my herd didn't recognize me, they sore me as a monster, they hurt me and cast me out. The towns people also sore me as a monster, if it weren't for Dr Hiriluk and Dr Kureha i would have been alone. When i joined the crew i didn't fully trust them but over time i have come to see them as family but" Chopper stops for a second letting out a sigh, Kuina leans in squeezing his hand as her eyes tear up, she can't image anyone treating Chopper that "Kuina, its ok if you see me as a brother but I'd rather you not call me that out in the open, i don't want you parents to be forced into looking after me like i'm their kid. I do love them a lot and go to them when ever i need something but your their child… I'm not, being treated like their child is very different from being their actual child" The doctor tried to be open and honest even though it hurts him to say all this, of course he see's her three parents as parental figures, but they have Kuina to take care of, she's their flesh and blood not him.
The young girl tears up at his words before leaping forwards to hug her fuzzy brother, she still didn't fully understand, but she knows not to push him into anything although there is one thing she has to ask "They could adopt you? then you would be their real child" Chopper sighs at her words holding her tighter while rubbing her back "That's up to them not up to me" His voice sounds so sad but it wasn't a no, Kuina was now determined to find a way around this and to make him happy, at the moment though she doesn't know what to tell him, a part of her wanted to tell him to shut up and ignore all that silly stuff while the other part of her remembers what her Mother and Luffy would say. "I don't like the way you think but I'll respect your destitution" She whispers to him soon feeling the reindeer hug back slight tears welling up in his eyes. Kuina knows what she has to do, in order to understand she needs to take a note from her auntie Robin, gather as much information as possible not only to learn more and understand the situation but also how to go about things. She wants Chopper to feel the love she gets from her parents and to have a family who won't kick him aside, of course the crew is family but being able to call someone mum or dad can maybe help heal old wounds or make the future brighter. Pulling away from the hug Kuina smiles brightly at her fluffy brother while patting him on the head "Thanks for helping me out Teddy, I'll see you later ok" The young girl smiles wide before running out of the medical room before he can stop her.
The first person Kuina runs too is her Mother since she didn't want to walk out of the medical room into the kitchen, she knows that her blonde farther will be all over her with questions and looking her over for any kind of cut or bruise. Running across the deck and to the bedroom's she smiles upon hearing her Mothers humming coming from the bedroom. Putting the cover back on the bed your startled by Kuina's sudden voice right behind you "Mum, can i ask you something?" Jumping you place a hand over your heart while turning to face the young girl "Kuina! You get snakier everyday... what do you need sweetie?" You bend down picking your little girl up and place her on the freshly made bed, your proud that your daughter can sneak up on you but it also concerns you a little. "Would you ever consider adopting Chopper?" Kuina asks letting her legs sway a little while sitting on the bed, your eyes widen at her question but you manage to compose yourself enough to try and think of a coherent answer. "I've never really thought about it before... Why are you asking sweetie?" You ask hoping to find out why she suddenly has this idea in her head, shifting a bit Kuina looks down at her fiddling hands as you kneel down to be eye level with her "You, Dad and Daddy always treat him like your child and i see him as a brother so i was wondering why not adopt him, so he can officially be a part of our family" Understanding now you can't help but smile and let out a small laugh catching your daughter off guard. "I'm sorry sweetie but i would have to adopt the whole crew one way or another since i see them as family too. I see Nami as my sister and Jinbe as my uncle." You try to explain.
Kuina sighs while pushing her self foreword to get a little closer, her eyes seem sad which makes your heart break so before she can speak you take her hand in yours while the other goes to her cheek "Just because he's not officially family doesn't mean you can't think of him as your brother. I do think of him as my child, i love him like i love you but adopting him is something very different, he's his own person, and he's never shown an interest in having a parental figure. Either way i will always be there for him and i will always be there of you." Your words make Kuina nod understanding your point of view on things but there was still something else she has to ask. "Mom, What if.. What if Chopper wants you to adopt him?" Kuina asks looking up from her hands and into her Mothers eyes which soften slightly but their also kinda sad, you hate seeing your daughter upset but you can't sugar coat things for her. "Well if that were the case then me and your farther's would have to talk about it, and then we would have to talk about it with Chopper to see if he really wants it." You give your honest answer which the young girl nods at before pulling you into a hug, with a smile you hug back while rubbing her back "Thanks Mum, i think i understand now... I love you" Kuina smiles pulling away from the hug so you can cup her face basking in her beautiful smile " i love you too sweetie, I've got to get back to cleaning before dinner, ok" You state standing back up and letting your daughter jump off the bed and run out the door leaving you to clean the rest of the room.
The second person Kuina goes too is her green haired dad who she knows will be training in the crows nest, making her way up the ladder she pushes open the hatch, the sound of clinking mental and huffs of her farther fill the room as the young girl slips through the hatch. Zoro holds a large weight over his head while doing lunges, his daughter knows well enough to stay away while he's working out so takes a few steps back before calling out to him "Dad" Her little voice hits his ears making the swordsman smirk turning his head to the side as he stands up straight "What's up baby girl?" He asks placing his large weight down before grabbing a towel to wipe his hand and face "I wanted to ask you something" She calls out staying where she is until her Farther says otherwise, just because the weight is down it doesn't mean the area is safe for her. Wrapping the towel around his shoulders Zoro walks over to his daughter with a raised eyebrow which tells her to go on "Would you ever consider adopting Chopper?" Kuina asks looking up at her suddenly frozen farther, Zoro had to process her words for a second since it caught him off guard, its only when his daughter touches his hand that the swordsman snaps out of it. Zoro sighs and sits down cross-legged on the floor before pulling his daughter onto his lap "What's going on?" The swordsman asks giving his daughter a stern look wanting her to tell him exactly what's going on in her head. Leaning into her dad the swordsman wraps his arms around her knowing what ever is troubling her is making the young girl sad. "I see Chopper as my Brother but when i called him that he.. He said not to call him that, not because it makes him uncomfortable but because he's not your child. Even though you treat him like your own Chopper doesn't see himself as a part of our family but i want him to be"
With a sigh Zoro rubs her back unsure how to answer this but his daughter came to him for a reason instead of you or Sanji, so he feels like he has to answer in some way. "Baby girl, It's ok if you see Chopper as a brother and its true we treat him like a child at times, i am a little protective over him-" Kuina pulls away to give her farther a deadpan look making the swordsman glare down at his daughter "More than a little" Zoro can't help but let out a small laugh at her words before ruffling her blonde hair "I love Chopper like i love you and want both of you to be safe, i will always treat him that way and consider him family but" Zoro pauses for a second trying to choose his next words wisely while his daughter weights patiently for him, it takes a while but soon he manages to find the words "Chopper is a part of our family no matter what, but adopting him is a tricky subject since its not only a big destitution for us and Chopper to make but as well... Chopper is his own person, its down to him what he wants, if he wanted to be adopted then me, your mum and your dad will have to talk about things before we do anything else." Zoro sighs hoping his answer was good enough while pulling the young girl into his chest for a tight hug, Kuina hugs back with a smile starting to see a pattern forming but there's still one more person to talk too. "Thanks Dad, I love you" Kuina pulls away to look up at her farther with a big smile before stepping off his lap, the swordsman gives her a small smile back before ruffling her hair making the young girl giggle "I love you too, Baby girl" He calls out as the blonde girl runs to the hatch to head back down onto the deck.
The last person to talk too was her blonde farther so Kuina heads to the kitchen, its almost dinner time, so he'll still be cooking but her hope is Uncle Luffy won't be in there bothering him. Luckily when she opens the door its just her dad in the kitchen, Sanji looks up from the pot he's steering to see his daughter make his way over to him "My sweet girl, what do i owe the please" The cook smiles wide walking over to his daughter who holds her arms out for a hug "I want to ask you something" She states as her dad happily picks his daughter up holding the young girl close as he makes his way back over to the stove starting to steer the pot again "Of course my angel" Sanji places a kiss on her head holding her with one arm as he turns the heat down on the cooker "Would you ever consider adopting Chopper?" She asks but isn't surprised to see a shocked look cover his face, the cook gulps his mind running with answers and questions of his own, but he soon manages to shake his head and put Kuina down "I- Urm... I've never thought about it before" Sanji pulls over a chopping board with a small knife starting to chop up stuff for a salad, Kuina tilts her head to the side worried by her farther's reaction, but she pushes over a stool to stand on. Stepping up she places her hand on her farther's arm getting him to look at her "I'm sorry if i made you upset" Sanji's eyes soften at her words, putting down the knife he turns to his daughter and cups her face while placing a light kiss on her forehead "You didn't upset me, you just caught me off guard. Can i ask what made you think of this?" The cook asks pulling away from his daughter who nods at him.
Kuina tries her best to explain while pulling over the cutting board and knife wanting her help her farther cook, Sanji lets her do the salad as he tents to the other pots and food in the oven "I called Chopper Brother today, i see him as my brother, but he got really upset when i called him that. He told me about his family and that he doesn't want to you, mum and dad to feel forced into looking after him like he's your child if i call him brother around you. I tried to explain that you, mum and dad treat him like he's your child already but... I just thought maybe adopting him would make him feel more like family" Nodding Sanji stands next to her while steering the pot understanding a bit more now, "I'm glad you see him as family but you shouldn't push him into anything. Your such a sweet heart but some times pushing someone to make them happy doesn't always work, in fact it can make them sadder" The cook turns to his daughter not wanting to hurt her but also wanting her to know the truth, pushing some hair out of her face Sanji tries his best to make her understand Choppers side of things "Being abandoned by family is hard, its takes a long time to recover and to find something that fills that hole, I'd like to think the crew has filled that hole. Your right in saying that i treat Chopper like my own and its because i love him like he's my child but no one should force him into feeling the same way. I know it upsets you sweetie, seeing him sad but you can't force him to be happy" Kuina looks up at her farther with teary eyes while putting down the knife, she wants Chopper to be happy but maybe she'll do more harm than good if she pushes it.
Either way she still needs to know if they would adopt him if the reindeer wanted them too "W-what if he wants to be adopted, to be a part of our family but is too shy to ask?" She asks while rubbing her eye to try and stop the tears from falling, Sanji's heart breaks at seeing his little girl about to cry so quickly picks her up pulling the young girl into a tight hug "We'll if he does want to be adopted them we would have to discuss it as a family first, make sure everyone is on the same page, if he's too shy to ask then there's noting we can do other than wait until he's ready to ask. There's also the matter of paperwork which we wouldn't be able to do since were pirates so it would be more of a verbal adoption than an official one" Sanji sighs rubbing Kuina's back as she clings onto him while burring her head on his neck, she didn't know what to say, the plan she had has gone out the window and now she just feels helpless at the fact her furry brother doesn't feel like a part of their family even though her and her parents love him and want him to be a part of it. Sanji tries to sooth the little girl as tears start falling down her cheeks, he hates breaking her heart, but he can't lie to her, the door to the kitchen opens making the cook growl slightly about to yell at Luffy or who ever is about to walk in only to see you and Zoro walk on with very confused faces. On the way to the kitchen you spotted Zoro coming down from the crows nest so you waited for him hoping to talk about Kuina and her strange question only for the swordsman to beat you too it. The two of you had a talk about it but it only made the two of you even more confused so decided to head to the kitchen wondering if she's also talked to Sanji.
Kuina sniffles before pulling her head away form her blonde farther's shoulder to see who opened the door, upon seeing her tear stained face you run over to see if she's ok "Oh sweetie what's the matter?" you ask as Zoro quickly walks over his aura was more murderess than it was concerned, all he needed to know was who. "It's ok, she's not you" Sanji calmly states mainly looking at the swordsman hoping to stop that heavy aura the moss head is letting out "I'm sorry, i just want Chopper to be happy" Kuina lets out while trying to wipe her tears away, sighing you now understand she's asked all her parents the same thing, Zoro calms down when hearing this so takes a stop forward and places a hand on his daughters head "You could have just asked us all together, why separately?" The swordsman asks as the little girls starts to calm down "I-i wanted to get your separate opinions so i could make a plan but... I don't know what to do now, I want Chopper to be happy and i know i can't force it but its clear you all love him like your own and treat him like your own, but he doesn't see that. When i mentioned adoption to him he didn't say no and i could see how upset he was when talking about how he's not your child but i that could be changed " She starts to tear up again making Sanji sigh and hold his daughter closer as you brush some hair out of her face prompting her to go on. "I know i can't force him into anything and that its his chose but his own fears and worries are stopping him from saying what he wants to say. I want him to feel the love that you give me, i want him to have a family that loves him and won't abandon him. We can be that family but no one is willing to make the first move to ask, Chopper won't ask because he's scared and you won't ask because its up to Chopper so we're at a stand still"
Your heart breaks for your daughter, all three of you may have given different answers but in the end you all agree that its up to Chopper what he wants. The short silence is soon filled by loud crying but its not coming form your daughter, Chopper runs out of the medical room and into the kitchen his eyes filled with tears as he runs to cling onto Sanji's leg since he can't get to Kuina in his arms. Kuina's eyes widen at seeing her fluffy brother crying while trying to say something but it sounds more like babbling, the cook sighs placing a hand on Choppers head trying to calm him as Zoro sighs bending down to pull the reindeer of Sanji's leg "Chopper Honey" You sigh bending down to try and see his face "I-i love you too" Chopper calls out making your heart melt, Zoro manages to get the doctor off Sanji's leg as the cook puts Kuina down letting the young girl hug Chopper who happily hugs back crying into her shoulder. Thinking for a second you grab Zoro and Sanji's arms then gesture over to the pantry with a nod, knowing the three of you need to talk you all make your away into the pantry to have a privet conversation while Kuina sooth's Chopper. "So i'm guessing she asked you two as well" Sanji sighs while looking over to his daughter, nodding Zoro crosses his arms over his chest "You think we fucked up?" the green haired man asks but you shake your head with a small smile "No, we all have our own opinions on it and i'm glad she still came to her own consultation of not wanting to give up." Your proud of the girl you've raised, she has Sanji's kind heart, Zoro's courage and your understanding, a perfect mix.
Sanji takes your hand pulling you into him while the other takes Zoro's hand doing the same "I know we can't do the paperwork but .. Do you want to adopt Chopper?" The cook asks with a small smile already knowing his own answer, looking from Sanji to Zoro you nod, with a smirk the swordsman wraps his arm around your waist while looking between his two partners "Well i already see him as my son so of course" Zoro grins looking you over before turning to the cook who nods leaning up and placing a kiss on the swordsman's lips "Well lets see what he thinks" Sanji's beautiful smile grows on his face as he leans over to place a kiss on your lips, happily kissing back Zoro bends down placing a kiss on your cheek, pulling away from the cook you look up at the green haired man and place a kiss on his lips which he leans into. With the three of you in agreement you all head out of the pantry and over to Kuina and Chopper, the young girl has manages to calm the reindeer down as she rubs his arms while he wipes his face. "Chopper" You smile getting the doctor to look up at you "We wanted to ask you something" Zoro smirks placing an arm around your shoulder as Sanji takes your hand "We love you a lot, and we already consider you a part of our family, but we were hoping that maybe we could make it official" The cook gulps getting kind of nervous.
Squeezing his hand you decide to continue for him "Chopper, Would you like us to adopt you?" You ask watching as the doctor's eyes widen in shock but a big smile forms on his face "Yes please" He calls out running up to the three of you with his arms wide open. The three of you bend down letting Chopper jump into your arms, happy tears fall down his fluffy face that Sanji brushes away, Zoro looks over at Kuina who's smiling wide but her eyes are filling with tears, opening his arm for her the young girl runs into her dads arms joining in the hug. "See i told you... Your a part of our family Brother" Kuina calls out putting one arm around Chopper to hug him "I love you all so much, thank you" The doctor cry's out suddenly turning to hug the young girl and cry into her shoulder again "Thank you Kuina.. I love you sister" Kuina can't help but let some happy tears fall as he hugs the reindeer back shoving her head into his shoulder, she's beyond happy that the person she thinks of as a brother is now actually her brother., he'll be happy and loved now, he'll be looked after like she is and have someone to go to that he can call mum, dad or sister. With a laugh Zoro pat their heads glad to see his little girl happy again and to have Chopper officially be his son. Sanji wipes a tear away form his eye trying not to cry as he watches his two kids hug each other, he always wanted a loving family, but he didn't think it would ever be this loving, either way he's so glad for it. Placing a hand on your heart you watch the two kids with a smile, your so lucky to have them in your life and to have them grow up under your watch.

This is sort of a joke so only do this if you want to but: brothers with an mc who eats moss like kris from deltarune. It's..... weirdly attractive? There's a sheep joke to be made here
Sometimes we need a silly little joke, and that's okay. I hope you like it anon. Is the moss thing related to this blog name or is it just random? Also, I don't know who that is - and I had to look up what deltarune is. Maybe it's an age thing or maybe it's just one of those topics I know nothing about. Either way~
Also, I'll be honest, I set up an excel sheet with all of my requests organized by post type before I did this request. Now I feel more organized. Yay.
The demon brothers react to MC eating moss
(SFW) (silliness)
Word Count: +1,600
Lucifer
No. No. No. No. “Spit that out right now, MC.”
They’re going to give this poor single parent of 6 an aneurysm. Moss could be dangerous for MC. Where did they even get that? Did they at least wash it before shoveling it into their mouth?
What is he going to tell Diavolo if moss gets them sick? “Yeah, sorry about needing you to call a human doctor for MC. I looked away from them for one minute, and they started eating moss.” He has a responsibility to keep MC safe.
Lucifer is the type to order MC to get a psych eval when he sees them eating moss. He knows it’s weird and potentially dangerous. This kind of unusual behavior should be closely monitored by a professional.
He’ll nearly lose his mind believing that MC had definitely lost theirs.
“What in the Devildom has gotten into you? Have you utterly lost it? MC, I can’t handle these kids on my own anymore. I need you to be sane and relatively normal, please.”
Please don’t do this to him. Lucifer needs stability in his life, and eating moss is not the picture of stability.
He will make MC’s potential problem about him for a bit in true bad single parent fashion.
Mammon
“The hell ya doin’?!”
Mammon will not hesitate to point out how weird he thinks they are. He doesn’t want to hurt MC’s feelings, but he can’t stop himself from giving them a look of confusion and light disgust.
“That can’t possibly taste good, can it? Ya can’t just go ‘round eatin’ any plant ya see.”
Once the initial surprise works through him, he’s just worried about MC eating something weird. What would he do if they got sick? What would he tell Lucifer? He’s their guardian, and he takes that role more seriously than he likes to let on.
Mammon’s the most likely to try to physically remove the moss from MC’s mouth (but Lucifer is a close second). It could be dangerous. He’ll confiscate MC’s moss if they have any left and keep a close eye on them.
His search history from that day will be telling. “is moss dangerous for humans” “is moss dangerous for humans to eat” “types of moss that are safe for humans to eat” “how to tell if my human is sick” “human ate something bad what happens” “why did my human eat moss” “is my human mentally ill” “Devildom human doctors near me” “human-friendly moss” “good dates for humans” “how to charm weird humans” “how to romance weird humans no magic” (He got distracted.)
Leviathan
Levi finds it funny (and he probably actually knows which character you’re referencing, anon). It’s weird, sure, but he figures whatever MC is doing, it’s pretty harmless.
He wonders if that applies to algae. It might make cleaning out his fish tanks a bit easier if MC can and wants to eat it. The thought pops into his head, but Levi decides against it.
It’s strangely comforting that MC has something weird and arguably off-putting about them. Usually, he’s the weird, gross one. (This is where creepy Levi kicks in and he wants to know more about MC’s weird habits. Maybe if it turns out that they’re super weird, he can keep them all to himself. However, Levi lets his creepy thoughts go as quickly as they came.) Levi unlocked new information. Friend points +50. MC’s charm points +30.
“If I kiss you right now, that’s close enough to touching grass, right?” That’s a thing he’s supposed to do, isn’t he? Shit. He didn’t mean to say that out loud, but it’s too late.
Levi’s one of the brothers who will just let MC be and do their thing. He might double check and make sure MC isn’t going to get sick, but after that, he’ll leave them be. It’s not really his business. If it makes MC happy, he won’t judge.
Satan
Oddly supportive boyfriend.
The man’s a little feral and weird. I think he would find it kind of precious and adorable; it’s kind of like how cats like to eat grass.
He’d spend a while figuring out which mosses are safe to consume, asking MC if they have any preferences for which moss types they enjoy. Do they prefer certain textures and mouth feels? Are certain colors preferable? Which moss tastes the best?
Then, he would set up a moss terrarium for MC filled with their favorite mosses. Satan may ask them to help him build it as a cute little craft date. This way, MC will have a way to safely snack on moss whenever they wish. A terrarium has the added benefit of MC being able to control where the moss comes from so that they can avoid any harmful bacteria, viruses, pesticides, etc.
Of course, Satan understands that eating moss is unusual, and he may question what it is that compels MC to eat moss, but he doesn’t see the need to stop it.
He may taste the moss himself (in the same way that someone with a pet may be tempted to try pet food). It would, in all likelihood, disappoint him, but MC’s enjoyment is all that matters.
Satan has a real “MC can have a bit of moss – as a treat” kind of mindset. He’ll probably try to see if he can hand-feed MC like they’re a stray cat. He’s weird, too, but we love him.
Asmodeus
“Honey, no. This isn’t how we transition into our feral era.”
Asmo thinks it’s kind of gross, but he asks if maybe eating moss is good for the skin or something (because he can’t think of any other reason MC would even consider eating moss).
When they tell him that’s not why, he gives them a troubled stare with his arms crossed over his stomach. “Uhm, hun. Why are you eating it then?”
Even if MC tells him that it tastes good, there’s no way he’s trying it unless it has incredible health and beauty effects. He can’t stomach the thought of it.
After the disgust washes over him, the concern floods his system instead. He asks if MC is sure that they can and should be eating moss. Regardless of what MC tells him, Asmo will go to Satan or Lucifer (probably both) to make sure that MC isn’t putting themselves in any danger. He couldn’t handle it if MC got sick. All that stress would destroy his skin (and break his heart beyond repair).
Once he ensures MC’s health, he tries to just let MC do their thing. “Just please don’t eat that stuff around me, ‘kay? And if you eat it, please brush your teeth before you kiss me.”
Beelzebub
“Aw, MC, are you hungry? I’m sure we have something more delicious than moss in the fridge. I was just on my way to get a snack. I’ll pick one up for you too, okay?”
He’s probably eaten some moss in his time. He’s no stranger to eating weird things, so his reaction is the least judgmental.
Sometimes moss looks delicious, right? It just makes sense to him that they would want to try eating it.
Beel will definitely ask them to spare some of their moss so he can try it, too. If the moss tastes relatively bad, he might be weary of their tastes in the future, but as long as eating it won’t hurt them, Beel doesn’t care.
Beel is probably the only one who would try to suggest tastier methods of eating the moss. “What about putting it on top of ice cream? Or maybe in a cheeseburger. Mmm. . . cheeseburger. A moss salad might be more appetizing, too. I could blend it into a smoothie or some soup for you. How does that sound?”
It makes him feel a bit comforted that they both have eating habits that others think are weird – like it brings them closer and is a special connection only they can share.
Belphegor
He’s seen Beel bite into a pillar at the castle when he’s hungry. He’s not too troubled by a bit of moss-eating.
Belphie trusts MC not to be stupid enough to ingest moss that would be toxic to them, and not worrying saves him a bit of energy and time. Additionally, I think Belphie would be relatively knowledgeable about plants, so he would probably be able to tell if what MC is eating is likely to kill them.
For the most part, he just doesn’t care. MC could even kiss him with fresh moss breath, and he won’t give a shit. It’s probably better than morning or fish breath, and he’s still getting a kiss, so he doesn’t see a reason to complain.
He won’t be ultra supportive like Satan, but he will be a bit more enthusiastic about it than others – mostly because it gives him an idea for a prank. He could make soup with moss in it, have MC bring a bowl to Lucifer, and eat one themselves so he isn’t suspicious. Then Lucifer would end up eating moss soup. He could probably do that with multiple types of food, too.
One (stupid) point of contention will be that Belphie thinks moss is better as a pillow than as a snack, but he acknowledges that’s a ridiculous difference of opinion. However, that could be a nice date idea: find a mossy forest where he can take a nap while MC gets to snack on moss.
He will probably get scolded by Lucifer and Mammon for enabling MC’s behavior (and not at all because he goes on weird moss dates with MC).

(Name) couldn’t remember the last time she had ever been hungry. Every day she woke up to breakfast in bed, and was quickly guided to the dining hall for lunch. Dinner was never late, considering she ate with her father, the King.
But right now, her stomach growled painfully as she was led by the hand by the only person that she had left from her life as a princess.
“Kurapika… I’m hungry.”
The blonde’s elf ears twitched, telling her that he definitely heard her. His grip tightening on her hand was enough for her to understand that he was upset he couldn’t do anything about it. “I know, princess.”
“I’m tired, too.”
He sighed softly, but didn’t slow down. “I’m well aware. We have to keep going, you’ll get a break when the sun rises. By then we should be far enough from the castle to avoid detection.”
She huffed, her eyelids dropping slightly as they continued to walk. “I just hope Papa will meet us soon… he’s always taking his time.”
Kurapika stayed silent at that, simply continuing to guide her through the dense forest. Instead of replying to her, his thumb rubbed the back of her hand gently, as if he was attempting some form of comfort.
He hadn’t been lying, the elf did not let her rest until the sun came out. Even then, she was upset to know they would be sleeping in a dark and smelly cave. “The scent will help mask ours, princess,” Kurapika said after she pouted at him.
“I’d rather be eaten by demons than smell like moldy cheese,” she mumbled as he prepared a spot for her to sleep on.
“Don’t pout, it’s unbecoming of a princess. You should rest while you can, we’ll be leaving at nightfall.”
He sat in the corner, a hand on his sword as she settled down on the makeshift bed of his tabard and moss. Kurapika covered her in his cloak once she was settled, his brown eyes soft with concern.
“You’re not going to sleep?”
(Name) looked up at him, her eyes half lidded as she fought her sleep. He managed a small smile, reaching out to gently pet her head. “Elves don’t need as much sleep as humans do. I’ll be fine, just go to bed.”
She didn’t argue, simply laying her head back down and drifting off to sleep. As she did, Kurapika’s smile faded, and a look of absolute fury crossed his face at the sight of his exhausted princess.
Just a few hours ago, she had been getting ready for bed, and he had been guarding her room. Everything was peaceful, as it always was.
“Kurapika, can you come sit with me until I fall asleep?” she asked, peeking her head out of the door. He smiled, sheathing his sword before slipping through the crack in her door.
“Yes, of course princess. You always have trouble sleeping on your own…” Kurapika said, sitting in a chair next to her bed after tucking her in. “Do you require anything else?”
She looked away shyly, offering her hand. “Can you hold my hand too?”
Without a word he took her hand in his, gently caressing the back of it with his thumb. (Name) smiled, her eyelids drooping. “Thank you…”
With that, she was fast asleep. Times like this almost made Kurapika forget about his troubled past. Getting to see his princess live a good and happy life was all he could want.
He had achieved his goals in avenging his clan, she was all he had now. And that’s why what happened just an hour later angered him so.
His kind, sensitive princess was woken with a start as the sounds of explosives shook the castle. Kurapika was quick to comfort her, holding the princess in his arms and lifting her up.
“W-what was that?”
Another explosion rocked the building, causing him to tighten his grip on her. “I’m not sure, but we need to go.”
He held onto her with one arm as he left her room, drawing his sword with the other. The feeling of her trembling hands gripping his shirt grounded the elf, and his ears twitched. There was the faint sound of someone screaming, and thundering footsteps.
“Shit…”
Kurapika never swore in front of (Name), trying his best to stay levelheaded in her presence, but the aura he was picking up was making him boil with rage.
“Demons.” he spat out, darting down a corridor and hiding in an empty room. He covered her mouth as the sound of skittering and footsteps echoed down the halls. The smell of sulfur and fire wafted through the crack in the door, making his sensitive princess gag.
“I’m not sure what’s going on, but demons are supposed to be forbidden from entering the palace walls. And for this many to be here…”
Before she could even register it, Kurapika was carrying her out of the room and sprinting down the halls. She was still only half awake, glancing around to try and get her bearings.
That was a mistake.
As they passed by the throne room, (Name) watched as her father was cornered by a pack of demons. They were tall and intimidating, wearing black cloaks to hide their appearances.
“Where is the girl? The one you have passed your knowledge to?”
Kurapika flattened against the wall, shielding her with his body. He felt like if he moved in that moment, the monsters inside would sense their presence.
“I didn’t… pass it on yet. She hasn’t yet reached her 20th birthday..!”
‘He’s talking about the princess!’ Kurapika thought, his grip tightening on her. He held her close to him, urging her with his scarlet eyes to keep quiet as a mouse.
“Could be all lies. Tell the lower rank soldiers to search for her. She’ll most likely be alone or guarded by a human knight, which is no match for even the lowest ranked demon.”
The sound of flesh being sliced made Kurapika wince, and he covered (Name)’s ears just in time. Kurapika used the noises of her father’s final cries to hurry her out of the castle and into the surrounding woods.
“W-what about papa?” she asked, frantically looking around. “H-he was in the thrown room, w-“
Kurapika covered her mouth and raised his hand, castings a quick spell to hide their presence before a pack of demons came bounding down the forest path. He did his best to comfort her, shielding her eyes so she couldn’t see that the awful things sniffing around for them.
The lower ranked soldiers were barely sentient, more like mindless hellhounds than actually people. Their gray, decaying flesh rotted off of their bodies as they sniffed the ground. Thankfully, the spell Kurapika cast hid both their appearance and scent.
One of the beasts stopped near the two, its ears pricked up as it listened closely. Kurapika held his breath, ready to draw his weapon at any moment…
But a bush a few yards away shook, causing the beats to start growling and barking, immediately running off to see what was there. Kurapika used this chance to get pick up (Name) and run.
That’s how they ended up in the cave. The smell of the musty air would mask their scents long enough for them both to get some rest.
Kurapika watched the sleeping princess, sighing softly as he caressed her cheek. She was such a sweet, innocent girl. She didn’t deserve to be hunted down like a dog.
Despite Kurapika’s hatred for humankind for their slaughter of his kin, he held (Name) in high regards. The only reason he drew breath was because of her kindness, so he had dedicated the rest of his long life to protecting that kindness.
So the fact someone had taken her throne when she was so close to becoming queen angered him beyond belief. Kurapika had seen the way she cared for her subjects, and the demons taking over would only mean the suffering of all the humans living in her kingdom. It would break her heart, being helpless to do anything.
But Kurapika would let endless men and women die if it meant keeping her safe. He already had plans to take her somewhere remote where she could live out her life in peace and safety.
Though, it seemed she had a different idea.
When (Name) woke up, she ate the pheasant he hunted while looking at the cave wall in though. “Those demons… they took over the palace.”
Kurapika nodded, washing her nightgown as she sat, covered by his cloak. “Yes, princess. It is much too dangerous for us to try and go b-“
“Just the two of us? Yes, it would be too dangerous. But…”
She picked up a stick and started drawing in the dirt. “You said the nearest town is only a few miles away by foot, right? Well, maybe we can find a guild and hire a party to slay the demons!”
“With what money, princess? And the demons will be searching for you in every town near the castle. It will be dangerous to-“
“That’s why I’m gonna wear a disguise!”
She stood, walking over to some moss. “I’ll make a beard and-“
“My princess…” Kurapika interrupted. “I could just use a spell to change your appearance.”
“Oh.”
She blushed, sitting back down. “We’ll do that then.”
“…”
Kurapika didn’t exactly love the idea, so he spoke up again. “But we still don’t have the money for such a thing. Hiring a party is already costs a hefty sum, and the type of people we’ll need to drive out demons, especially the kind that have invaded the palace would be hard to find, let alone pay.”
He sighed, rubbing his temple. Kurapika loved her dearly, but his princess was extremely sheltered. She didn’t understand the concept of how much things cost. “Listen my princess, I can take you somewhere safe, where you can live a comfortable life. It might not be the luxurious life you’re used to, but you’ll still be happy.”
“B-but…”
Kurapika looked back to her, freezing when he saw tears trailing down her cheeks. “I don’t… want my people to suffer when I could be doing something… why do I get to be safe and happy while they’re under the reign of demons?”
She did have a point, and her kindness is what made Kurapika adore her in the first place. His elf ears twitched and he rubbed the back of his neck.
To be honest, Kurapika cared not for other humans… but he would to next to anything to make her happy.
“… alright.”
(Name) blinked, looking to him. “Really?”
“Yes… but promise me, if we can’t find a party that will take on our request within a month, you will give up on this.”
She squealed in delight, jumping into his arms. “I promise! Ahh, thank you Kurapika!”
The slightest shade of pink took over his cheeks, and he cleared his throat. “Princess, you still only have my cloak to keep you covered.”
She blinked, looking down at herself before jumping back and checking herself over to make sure she was still completely covered. “A-ah, sorry I forgot…”
‘She’s going to be the death of me…’ Kurapika thought, ringing out her night gown before setting it out to dry.
As he planned out what they would do, he could have sworn he heard something skittering from tree to tree outside… but when he looked, there was nothing…
But a pair of cat-like eyes were staring in at them, wondering when he should strike.
————————
Kurapika held her close to him as they walked towards town. Just an hour before, an entire pack of demon hounds passed by their hiding place.
Thankfully, he had placed a magical sensor about 100 feet away that alerted him just in time for him to pull (Name) into the depths of the cave. He covered her mouth, the potent smell of the cave hiding their scent.
The beasts passed by without any trouble, but Kurapika knew it was time to go. More competent soldiers would be there soon to check every nook and cranny of the forest for any signs of life, and Kurapika couldn’t hide her forever.
So they walked down the path, her hand in his. She was still tired, now wearing her freshly cleaned nightgown and his cloak. Her feet were still bare, so he would carry her until his arms ached. Kurapika couldn’t stand the way she winced when she stepped on a pointy rock or on poky leaves.
He wished he could do more, he more useful to her…
‘I’ll buy her a more suitable outfit once we get into town.’ he thought, patting his coin pouch with his free hand. ‘I doubt we’ll be able to find someone willing to take on the demons anyways, no need to save my coin when my princess is in need of new clothing.’
It wouldn’t be the soft silks and fancy patterns she was used to, but it would keep her warm and covered.
“My princess, we’re nearing town.”
She stopped, glancing back at him. Kurapika tied his cloak tighter around her, making sure her stained nightgown couldn’t be seen. “Try not to let your bare feet be noticed. Take small steps, and don’t take off your hood.”
“Anything else?” she asked sarcastically. Kurapika thought for a second, then looped her arm with his.
“Yes. Don’t leave my side, even for a second. I can’t guarantee that the town is safe. There could already be demons hiding amongst the citizens, wearing human disguises.”
She huffed, but listened. For the past 5 years, Kurapika had been her loyal knight, keeping her safe from all harm. (Name) trusted him more than she trusted herself, so of course she would do whatever he said.
“Come, we can only stay in town for so long. We don’t want to draw any attention to ourselves.”
He guided her into the small town, which looked more like a village the more Kurapika thought of it.
There were only a handful of shops that he could see, he wasn’t sure he’d even be able to find her clothes, much less a party that would be willing to take on demons.
He grimaced when a toddler ran by, wearing only wearing a cloth diaper as they were chased by what seemed to be an older sibling. Kurapika disliked humans, finding them to be filthy, nasty things.
“Aww… so cute!”
Kurapika glanced to see (Name) helping the little one up after they tripped, gently dabbing away at a little scrape in their knee with her handkerchief. “Shh, it’s okay. It’s only a little scrape.”
The older sibling blushed as (Name) smiled and helped their younger sibling stand. “Be careful, you’re a big brother, aren’t you? You need to keep better watch of your baby sister. And you…”
She gave the child a headpat. “You need to listen to your big brother. Don’t run away from him, what if a big scary monster snatched you up?”
The two thanked her before walking away hand in hand, waving. She waved back, and Kurapika was quick to grab her hand and pull her towards a quiet place. “Princess, didn’t I say we shouldn’t draw attention to ourselves!? You-“
She pouted at him. “Kurapika, it was just a child. I-“
“Well now those children have seen your face. It not only puts you in danger, but them as well.”
(Name) paused, her eyebrows furrowing as she looked down at the ground. Kurapika sighed, cursing himself for upsetting her.
“Just… try not to talk to anyone or show your face, alright? Come on, we have to hurry.”
She was now quiet as they walked through the small village, her hand in his. Though Kurapika knew her silence was better in the long run, he also felt an ache in his heart when she was quiet.
——————
(Name) sat in a small wooden chair inside a dusty clothing shop. Kurapika was speaking to the owner quietly, occasionally glancing back at her.
While they talked, (Name) took the time to look out the window and really take in the village while it was busy.
The unevenly paved road caused the rickety old carriages drawn by horses to wobble a bit, but the riders seemed used to it. Children ran down the road, spooking the horses a bit and getting yelled at by said riders until they scurried away.
Across from them was a bakery, where she could see a woman rolling out a ball of dough. On the counter were various baked good that reminded (Name) of just how hungry she was.
But… something seemed out of place. Every once in a while as she watched the villagers go about their daily lives, she swore she could see a blur of someone in the trees that surrounded the village. Occasionally, a pair of blue, glowing eyes peered through the leafy canopy, staring right at her.
“U-Um… Kurapika?”
He held up a hand and continued to speak with the shopkeep. ‘Is he… haggling him?’ (Name) sighed softly, turning back to the window.
The thing she saw made her blood ran cold.
On the edge of the tree line was a small figure, looking right at her. She couldn’t make out much besides a head of white hair and piercing blue eyes. (Name) got ready to tell Kurapika, but by the time she blinked… it was gone.
Kurapika approached her, a few items of clothing slung over his shoulder. “What did you need, my p- I mean, miss?”
She didn’t answer for a moment, continuing to stare out of the window. When she did finally speak, he could tell something was wrong. “… nothing. Just thought I saw something.”
The elf was intelligent, he knew that anything out of the ordinary could mean their enemies may be near. So he nodded and escorted her to the dressing room. “Get dressed, we’re leaving now.”
She did as told, glancing through the crack in the door as he kept watch. When she was around, Kurapika kept up a calm and confident facade… but when he thought she couldn’t see him, his face fell slightly with worry.
The princess didn’t truly know what demons were or the history they had with humans or elves, not many humans did. The stories had simply been lost to time, something only an elf who had lived many human lifetimes could remember.
Kurapika was terrified, knowing that these demons would stop at nothing to kill the last person that may know how to truly defeat them.
Demons were incredibly hard to kill, it was easier to just wound them and banish them with a teleportation spell back to hell… but there was one method that could permanently end a demon’s life.
But no, the princess wasn’t aware of how to do that. Why would she be, she was sheltered and had never even held a wand, much less casted a spell.
Instead, the king had passed on this information to Kurapika, not wanting his beloved daughter to be in danger. Kurapika didn’t want her at risk either, so he took on the heavy burden.
The spell called for various magical items to be gathered from across the continent and brought together. It would take ages, and with just the two of them, it wasn’t just dangerous, it was impossible.
Even more troubling, to preform the spell that would banish demons, the caster would have to be a person whose heart was pure and without hate. Kurapika held onto so much hatred and anger, he would never be able to perform such a thing.
‘But…’
Kurapika glanced at the princess as she stepped out of the dressing room, her smile as warm as the afternoon sun. She reached for his hand, giving it a soft squeeze. “It’ll be okay, we’ll get through this together.”
‘Maybe she, the only human I have ever cared for could do it.’
———————
From the branches of a tree, a figure watched as the two walked through the forest. One was some kind of an elf, which the spying figure had been told went extinct years ago.
The other was a young woman, her face hidden by an olive green cloak. She held onto the elf’s hand, and the figure could tell that if she wasn’t with him, the elf would be moving at a much faster pace.
‘Huh, just a single guard? You’d think that at least twenty knights would have escorted her out of the palace.’
The figure jumped silently to another tree once the two started to gain a bit too much distance from him for his liking.
‘She’s rather slow and weak, I can take her out easily. But the elf has been able to successfully evade our soldiers for nearly two days and nights now… oh well, I only need to kill the girl. No need to fight someone I’m not sure I could beat.’
The figure’s tail curled around the branch of the tree, keeping him upright as he leaned forward to get a better look at them.
But unfortunately, he misjudged the strength of the branch and was sent tumbling out of the tree, landing in a bush nearby.
‘SHIT!’
Kurapika pulled his sword out, stepping in front of (Name). “Who goes there? Come out and state your reasons for following us.”
‘Ah, so he knew I was following them.’
The white haired boy quickly hid his tail, retracted his claws, and ruffled his hair to hide his small horns. Once done, he carefully stepped out of the bushes, making sure to make himself look small and scared.
“Oh, it’s just a little boy.”
The boy waved timidly, trying to act like a lost child. “H-hello…”
(Name) peeked out from behind Kurapika, smiling. “Hello there, I-“
Kurapika stepped forward, his sword pointed at the boy’s throat. “I said state your reason for following us.”
(Name)’s eyes widen, and she reached out to gently move Kurapika’s arm so he was pointing his sword at the ground instead. “Kurapika, he’s just a little boy, there’s no need-“
“Just a little boy? My princess, if he was a normal little boy I would be able to hear his footsteps when he walked. This is no ordinary child, he’s trained in the ways of darkness and evil.”
The boy scoffed, crossing his arms. “Huh, you’re good. Wasn’t expecting that. I’ve never had someone realize they couldn’t hear my footsteps before.”
In the blink of an eye, the boy’s claws were sharpened into points, his sharp teeth glistening in the low light. Kurapika’s eyes widened, and he started getting ready to create a barrier around the princess if need be.
“You seem like a smart man. Hand over the girl, and I’ll let you free. You’re an elf, I hear that race and humans have a pretty bad history. Let me guess, you were forced into serving her or execution. Well it’s your lucky day, I’m here to take her out. Then, you’ll be a free elf and-“
The boy’s eyes narrowed as Kurapika’s sword began to glow a deep scarlet, his eyes shining the same color. “You understand nothing, demon. My people hated your kind much more than we hated humans, and this girl means everything to me. I would die before I handed her over to the likes of you.”
‘That sword… I heard stories of elves that could banish demons but…’
“K-Kurapika, wait!”
But it was no use, the two had begun their battle. (Name) was pushed back unceremoniously, falling onto her but a few feet away from the two.
The boy brandished his claws, leaping from the ground and slashing at Kurapika’s throat. He was able to block the attack with his sword just before the boy’s nails sunk into his skin.
Kurapika took advantage of the boy being so close, and used a teleporting spell, sending them 30 yards away. “Hide yourself, (Name)! This boy is an assassin, he’ll take any opportunity to come your way and kill you!”
She gulped, crawling through the gaps of large tree roots and hiding herself under a tree. (Name) couldn’t see what was going on now, but she could hear the sounds of Kurapika swinging his blade and grunting.
It took her back to the days when she would watch him train between lessons. He always took time to send her a soft smile, even walking her to her next destination despite being exhausted and sweaty.
One day, another knight was sparring with him, and when Kurapika got hurt, she started to cry. She rushed over, clingy to him and sobbing as she rubbed her face against his chest.
“Y-you got hurt! You’re bleeding, someone call the-“
Kurapika gently ran his hand over her hair, smiling. “Shh, princess, I’m fine. This is nothing.”
“But…”
His eyes softened as he gently caressed her cheek with his thumb. “Any injury I get while protecting you is just proof of my unconditional devotion. You are my everything, princess. I will shield you with my very body if it means keeping you safe.”
And as she heard the fight get more and more intense, she felt an uneasy feeling settle in her belly.
‘I don’t want Kurapika to die.’
That’s the very thought she had that day, watching as he was bandaged up by a palace doctor. So behind his back, she had begun to learn basic magic, wanting to be somewhat to him in the future.
Although she had never been able to actually cast a spell due to how she was watched like a hawk, she still managed to sneak some of Kurapika’s books into her room to study while he was busy.
When she heard Kurapika gasp in pain, (Name)’s mind raced with what to do. He told her to hide, and Kurapika was usually right, but she would rather die than let him die for her.
So (Name) crawled out of her hiding space, sniffling softly as she began to run towards the two.
The boy had him pinned to the ground, his nails at Kurapika’s throat. The sight was enough to freeze her in her tracks, her heart thumping wildly against her chest.
“L-let him go!”
Despite her legs shaking, and her lip wobbling, she was still able to yell out to the boy. “It’s me you want, don’t hurt him!”
Kurapika turned his head, his nose bleeding. “Princess, what do you think you’re doing, he’s going to-“
The boy let Kurapika go, walking towards her slowly. “Sacrificing yourself to save a measly knight? You’re braver than I thought, princess. I’ll spare the elf, as long as you go down without a fight.”
“Yes… but please, before you kill me, let me know your name.”
Seeing no point in hiding his identity now that his prey was right in front of him, the boy relented. “If that’s your final wish… my name is Killua. Killua of the Zoldyck Royal Family, one of the seven princes of hell.”
“I see… Killua, then. I need you to get down.”
This made the boy pause. Although her body shook and her lip wobbled, her eyes were far from scared. They were determined, steady as they focused on him.
Before he could retreat, a ring formed around the boys wrists, causing him to be pinned to the ground. He yelped, struggling frantically against the glowing rings, but they stayed firm on his wrists.
“W-what the hell did you just do to me!?”
(Name) smiled, her knees giving way as she fell to the ground. She held held up her own wrist, a small ring of light was there, the same as the boy’s.
“I cast a spell to have complete control over your actions. It only works on… demons… and… if I have your name…”
Killua growled, baring his teeth and struggling against his bounds with no luck. He couldn’t move, he couldn’t even lift his head. “You witch! Let me go right now, before I-“
(Name) laughs, reaching out to ruffle his hair. “Before you what? Squirm some more? Kick up some dirt? Face it kid, you’re not doing anything until I give you an order.”
He continued to growl and snap his teeth at her, trying to attack, to do anything. As Killua struggled, Kurapika made his way back over, holding his injured arm.
‘That spell… it’s too high level, even for me. How was she able to-‘
He barely caught (Name) in time as she fell forward. Her mana was next to non existent at the moment, leaving her exhausted and barely conscious.
“My princess…”
He cursed himself for not being able to stop her from using such a spell. If he had been a bit stronger, the boy would be dead, and he would be carrying her to bed at this very moment.
But now, he had to deal with the demon growling and snarling at their feet.
“I hope you’ve prepared yourself for death, demon. I can’t have you going back to your horde and informing them of our location.”
Killua let out a laugh, looking up at him. “As if either of you could kill me. Sure, try it out. Injure me, teleport me away to the far ends of the earth, I’ll just keep coming back, and with reinforcements next time.”
“He has a point…”
Kurapika helped (Name) sit up, biting his lip hard enough to draw blood as her head leaned on his chest. She was so weak, she was shaking.
“Princess, you should rest.”
She shook her head, raising her hand. “Stand, Killua.”
The boy immediately sprung up from the ground, standing stiffly in front of them. “(Name)… is the spell still intact?”
She nodded, leaving Kurapika in awe. A spell like that cast by an amateur like her should have fell apart within seconds!
“So we can’t just let him go and I don’t want to kill him…”
“We couldn’t kill him even if we tried, princess.”
She pouted slightly, staring at the boy whose cheek were red with humiliation. He was at the beck and call of a human, he’d be teased by his brothers for weeks!
“… I think I have a solution! Killua, stay still.”
The boy scolded himself for being so cocky. ‘I knew names held power, and yet I freely gave her mine…’
He clenched his fists, growling lowly. ‘As soon as I’m free, I’ll kill that princess, if it’s the last thing I do!’
Killua stiffened up even more if possible as Kurapika and (Name) stepped a few feet away to talk.
The elf grimaced as (Name) seemed to be proposing an idea, disagreeing with her immediately. She then put her hands on her hips… which caused Kurapika to relent.
“Alright, I’ll let you handle this then, princess.”
(Name) smiled, stepping forward. “Alright! Killua, once this order is given, you’ll be able to move freely.”
Killua perked up a little. ‘This is my chance!’
“I’ll be giving you the orders,” she said, holding up two fingers. Kurapika glanced her way, nervous. He didn’t like allowing his princess to handle things in the slightest… but it was their only option. “One, you will not share any information on me, Kurapika, or anyone connected to us.”
He frowned deeply, that would get in the way of his plans… but…
‘Once she’s dead, the spell should dissipate. I’ll just-‘
“The second order is you are no longer allowed to harm, kill, or maim any innocent beings, or any of my loved ones.”
Killua’s jaw dropped. While he didn’t necessarily make a habit out of killing when he didn’t have to, it was still his job. “You can’t be serious, I-“
That’s when he realized… (Name) was but an innocent human… he wouldn’t be kill her. And Kurapika was definitely someone she cared for…
“Those are your orders. You can now move freely.”
Killua’s body relaxed, and he moved forward, launching himself at (Name). Although Kurapika was quick to pull her behind himself, it wasn’t necessary.
Killua froze midair, ancient symbols appearing all over his body. When he dropped to the ground, he seized.
(Name) was quick to kneel down next to him, despite Kurapika’s complaints. “Hey, you’re going to be okay. The effects shouldn’t last that long…”
She lifted his head into her lap, wiping away the drool from the boy’s mouth with her sleeve. “This is what happens when you disobey an order… I’m sorry, from what I read I heard it’s incredibly painful.”
Incredibly painful? It was the worst thing Killua had ever experienced, and he had undergone the harsh training and torture of the Zoldyck family.
But the demon was confused… why was this princess gently wiping his face with a handkerchief, and why was she getting her knight to prop him up against a tree. He couldn’t comprehend why she left a canteen full of water and an apple for him before she left… it didn’t make sense.
“You’re free to do whatever you want, as long as you follow those two orders,” she said, yawning as Kurapika helped her walk. “Goodbye, Killua.”
As they walked away, Killua felt… strange. He had tried to kill her more than once. It would be easy enough to make him take his own life… yet she was letting him go.
Killua sat there under the moonlight, thinking of what his next step should be. He couldn’t return home, that would be a humiliation he would never live down. Him, the heir of the throne, defeated by a mere mortal? That was unheard of.
So Killua hatched a new plan, one that would take advantage of the princess’ kindness…
———————
Dark fog fell over the palace, toxic vapor that would kill any human unfortunate enough to still be hiding within its walls.
“Has Killua returned with the princess yet?”
Illumi looked up from his work, tilting his head. His tail swayed silently as he set those dark, cold eyes on his mother. “No, mother. And from what I’m able to sense… he’s not coming back home for a while yet.”
She frowned, Kalluto standing quietly at her side. “Kalluto, go check with your older brother and see if he’s finished that resurrection spell yet.”
“Yes, mother.”
Once Kalluto left, the woman’s eyes narrowed. “We must hurry and get these matters dealt with before the other demon lords are able to make it to the surface. Those other princes… they’ll spell nothing but trouble for our-“
“Yes, mother. I understand.”
Illumi looked into his crystal ball, one that one worked on Killua. With it, he could see through the boy’s eyes… and even give him orders.
“Killua is currently following the princess, mother.”
She smiled, clapping her hands together. “Oh, that is wonderful news! Give him the command, and then I’ll have my little prince back!”
Illumi nodded, the focused on the crystal ball, peering into it.
‘Killua.’
Usually, simply saying his name was enough to have the boy tensing up… but he did nothing. Could he not… hear him?
Illumi shook his head. ‘No matter, I’ll just take control of him.’
When Illumi attempted to reach into the crystal ball, his hand was repelled by white magic, burning his fingers and palm.
“Illumi!”
His mother rushed over to see what had happened. Illumi stared blankly at his hand, sighing.
“It seems someone is interfering with my connection… until we figure out what this is…”
His mother paled, raising a hand to her mouth.
“Killua… is lost to us.”
Illumi looked through the crystal ball, his frown deepening. ‘At least I can still see through his eyes. That will be of some benefit to us… as long as Killua keeps following them, we should be able to find them eventually.’
Kalluto walked back into the room, Boeing politely. “Mother, big brother has found a resurrection spell that will work on more than ten people at once without killing the caster. Now all we have to do is find their remains.”
His mother grinned, fanning herself. “Inform your father of this discovery, and make sure he knows…”
She looked outside, smiling as the fog slowly spread down the mountain. “We have some spiders to find.”

The first night after escaping Totto Land, everyone was on edge.
The second, everyone did their best to try and rest, but most of the Straw Hats still tossed and turned (sans Zoro, that man can and has slept through a tornado).
The third night, you'd finally decided around 3 am to get up, your thoughts still raging through your mind and keeping the sandman from blessing you with sweet, sweet sleep.
Throwing on a simple, black hoodie and dark red sweatpants, you slipped into some shoes and quietly dipped out of the women's quarters and made it upstairs to the main deck without an issue.
To your surprise, you could smell Sanji smoking; taking a look around and realizing he was up top with Nami's tangerine groves. You climbed up and gave a small wave, not wanting to startle him.
“Can't sleep either?” You ask gently, causing Sanji to snap out of his thoughts and grin up at you, going to stand but you stopped him, instead moving closer and sitting in the plush grass with him. You reached up and plucked a tangerine, giving Sanji a grin when he gently took it from you with no words said.
“Thank you,” You begin, only to stop as you notice the dark circles under his eyes. “Sanji… have you gotten any sleep?”
The blonde stops for a moment, eyes still staring at the fruit in his hands and it's seconds later when he starts moving again, silently peeling away. After it's done, he holds the slices out to you and you take half of them, gently folding his fingers over the ones left over and pushing his hand back to him.
“Don't worry, it's our secret,” you joked, giving him a sneaky grin and a small chuckle before popping a slice in your mouth.
There was a comfortable silence between you both as you ate. The moon was bright in the sky, lighting up the grove beautifully and basking you both in its light. After you were done, you took the chance to carefully ask Sanji,
“Are… are you doing okay, Sanji?”
This time, he did look at you, his usually bright eyes dull and glazed as he seemingly stared through you. “Of course,” His usual cheery voice came through, but you could feel the hurt behind his tone.
You softly reached out and grasped one of his hands, gently holding it in both of yours as you mentioned in a lightly joking tone,
“You're really bad at lying to me.”
For a long second, Sanji stared, unable to enunciate anything, though his mouth twitched a few times. He then took a long drag and let it drift out, making sure to blow it up away from you.
“Sanji… you can talk to me. I can't even imagine what you went through-”
His hand tightened around your fingers and you froze, worry for him running through your entire body. He then took a shaky breath and finally murmured out tiredly,
“I don't want to talk about it.”
You frowned sadly, holding his hand over your heart as you replied,
“You don't have to talk about anything you don't want to. I just want you to know I'm here for you, always.”
Sanji sniffles softly as his gaze wanders to the grass, the aching in his heart getting harder to ignore.
“It doesn't matter-”
You squeeze his hand and comment,
“It absolutely matters Sanji, it matters to me and it matters to everyone on this crew. We're your family, we love you, Sanji.”
Nothing but another sigh came from the chef, the fight going on inside his head clearly too loud for you to get anything through to him. You could almost read the expression on his face - you don't get it, he's thinking, his gaze burning through the grassy patch.
You let his hand move back into his lap, his other hand reaching over to flick ashes off his cigarette.
“If you don't want to talk, that's okay. Do you mind listening instead, then?”
Your voice was small, so soft that it took Sanji a moment to process the words. His gaze flickered back up to you, hazy wariness hidden behind them as he nodded slightly.
You took a moment, gathering your thoughts to form into words as you gently began,
“I believe everything that happens to us happens for a reason. The good things happen to remind us that life is worth living, worth experiencing. The bad shit happens to show us how to grow, how to fight back, and to find that inner strength that you didn't even know was there.”
You shifted slightly, sitting up a bit straighter as you continued,
“I don't know what happened with you after you left. We were terrified, I was terrified. What if I never saw you again? What if I never got to tell you how amazing you were?”
Sanji also sat up more, his curled brow shifting down as he stared silently.
“Doing hard things is never easy, but having support from the people that love you makes all the difference. Even if that hard thing is just trying to survive.”
You shrug slightly, your fingers fiddling with themselves in your lap as you added,
“I heard… about Judge.”
Sanji freezes at your words, like ice cold snow had been dropped down onto him. His face twitches, the expression slightly irritated before it falls back into the previous nearly blank one.
“Sanji, have you heard the phrase, “blood is thicker than water?” Are you aware that phrase is wrong?”
Sanji lights a fresh cigarette with a slight shrug of his own, softly murmuring, “Oh.”
“The actual phrase is, “the blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb.”, meaning, the family you create is stronger than the family you were born into.”
You reached up and plucked another tangerine, peeling it yourself as Sanji sits, stunned and watching you with a wide, blue eye.
“I don't think I've ever met a single person with great parents. Hell, even my dad was a piece of shit too! But I can tell you, with absolute confidence, that you have a great father.”
The chef gave a single, sharp barking laugh, going to reply with a snarking bite when you cut him off with your own, sharp continuance,
“Have you forgotten so easily who you are, Sanji?”
He leans back a bit in hurt, tears welling up in his eyes as you add genuinely,
“You are Black Leg Sanji, named after your father, Red Leg Zeff. You are chef to the Straw Hat Pirates and don't you ever forget that your real father would be damn proud of how far you've come.”
You popped a few slices of tangerine into your mouth as you let your words stew, watching the tears stream down Sanji's face. You finished off the fruit and hummed softly, looking up at the sky as you spoke again.
“I think you should call him.”
You looked back to him and reached over, patting him on the shoulder a few times before getting up and brushing any dirt or grass from your butt. You threw Sanji a bright grin, your face illuminated by the moon as you softly commanded,
“Go get some sleep, Sanji. Your family will still be here in the morning.”
You turned and walked away before he could say anything, only able to watch you quietly walk back down towards the main deck door.
In the silence of the small grove, Sanji's heart beat so loud he swore the whole ship could hear it. His fingers ached, his eyes burned and his throat felt tight, like someone had welded his flesh inside together.
He knew you were right, the logic and love in your words washing over him like a warm blanket the more he thought over them.
So why couldn't he get up?
He flopped back into the grass, both eyes exposed to the shine of the moon as he puffed on his smoke. He took a last drag and put it out in the grass, intent on cleaning up after himself before he moved again. His eyes slipped shut for just a moment, his exhaustion catching up to him as his fight or flight instinct finally released its grip on him.
In seconds, Black Leg Sanji had passed out, a small smile on his lips with his body lovingly covered by the shadows from the tangerine trees.
Tumblr media
Sanji awoke the next morning in his hammock, confusion running through him as he ran a tired hand through his hair. He groans and sits up, hopping out of his bed and slowly gets dressed, having to stop a few times as the ship rocks and he nearly trips.
Once he's dressed and more awake, he makes his way to the kitchen as usual and is surprised to find the moss head sitting at the table with a drink in his hand as you wash up dishes. It's clear that food had been made, and he goes to question you when Zoro pipes up,
“Sleep beauty finally wakes! How's it goin’, princess?” His tone is snarky and teasing but there's genuine curiosity behind the words.
Sanji only aims a kick at his head, which is blocked as usual. He huffs and straightens up his tie, giving Zoro the middle finger before sliding up behind you, completely ignoring the now furious swordsman.
“Oi! Fuck you, curlybrow!”
You're shaking your head with a roll of your eyes as Sanji asks you sweetly,
“You didn't have to do all this, mon ange! You could have woken me up-”
You looked up at him with a small grin as you commented,
“You were out like a light, Sanji. Besides, I've been watching you cook for ages, I feel like I picked up just enough to satisfy everyone.”
Sanji's cheeks burn, little hearts dancing around his head at your words. You couldn't help but breathe a soft sigh of relief, glad he was slowly returning to the man he was.
“Oh mon amour! You are the most precious thing in my life!”
Zoro gives a loud, over-exaggerated gag at that, pulling laughter from you as you finish placing the last dish into the drying rack. Sanji turns his attention back to Zoro with a snarking reply of,
“At least a woman wants to spend time with me! Your stink keeps everyone at a 5 mile radius away from you.” He proves his point by placing his hands on your hips and standing a little closer to hold you to him as he makes a face at Zoro who makes one back.
“Oh yeah? She doesn't look so comfortable from where I'm standing!”
You groan and roll your eyes again, pulling away from Sanji with burning cheeks as you make your way out of the kitchen.
“You guys can fight without me being in the middle!”
Zoro stops you before you can leave, gently grasping your wrist and pulling you to him. You give a soft “Oof!” as your body collides into Zoros, your hand pressing onto his chest to stabilize yourself.
“Oi! Shitty Swordsman! Get your grubby little hands off Y/N!”
Zoro just laughs, slinging a heavy arm around your shoulders and keeping you to him as he barks back,
“You're just mad that she doesn't hate me, ugly dandelion head!”
You pinch Zoro's nipple and he jumps, letting go of you as he shields his wounded pride and offended body part behind burning cheeks.
“The hell was that for?!”
Sanji can't help but burst out laughing, your own laughter joining in as you finally make your way out of the kitchen.
“Paybacks a bitch, Zo!”
With you gone, the two men glared and growled at each other, Sanji huffing smoke at the swordsman as Zoro puffs his chest out a bit, glaring Sanji down.
“Quit hittin” on her, you curlybrowed moron!”
“You quit it! She doesn't like stupid, ugly, unwashed assholes!”
Their foreheads smacked against each other as they growled and barked at each other, only finally breaking away as they heard you call from down the hallway,
“Sanji? Can I get your help with something?”
Sanji flashes Zoro a smug grin, puffing smoke in his face as he calls back,
“Of course I can, my darling Y/N-chaaan!”
Zoro rolls his eye as he watched the shitty love cook literally twirl and dance out the kitchen door, taking the advantage of Sanji being gone to raid the ‘secret’ cupboard that held all the good sake.
Finding an unopened bottle, Zoro uncorks it with a heavy sigh before heading back up to the crows nest.
Sanji, on the other hand, finds himself in a predicament as he searches the halls for you, confusion set on his face as he opens a few doors.
“Y/N? Where'd you go?”
He almost shrieks as a hand pulls him back, tugging him into a room and slamming the door shut. He turns and flares his nose slightly, staring you down as he presses a hand over his chest.
“Y/N! You almost gave me a heart attack,” he half-jokes, patting his chest lightly a few times as you grin up at him.
“I gotta keep you on your toes,” you replied lightly, giving him a quick wink before tugging him over to your bed. You immediately sat down and patted the space beside you, an almost expectant look on your face as you asked,
“You got some time to sit with me?”
Sanji takes in your expression and slowly sits, but not before putting out his cigarette in the small ashtray on your bedside table. His heart always thumped a few extra fast beats at your thoughtfulness.
He makes himself comfortable before he nervously asks,
“So? What did you need help with?”
Your face blossoms into bright red hues as you look down to your lap, your fingers fiddling with themselves anxiously as you slowly got out,
“I um, I just, um,” you stumble over your words, unsure of how to get them out. It takes a second, but you finally inhale before quickly spilling out in one, quick breath,
“Ireallylikeyouandidon’tknowifyoulikemetoo.”
Sanji blinks a few times, his mind trying to decipher the words that bubbled out of you, only for his head to tilt to the side as he gives a confused,
“Uh… what?”
Your cheeks darken, and you shove your face into shaking hands, trying to steady your racing heart as you groan into your palms.
You freeze as two warm hands grip lightly around your wrists, pulling your hands from your face only to find Sanji's own visage just centimeters from your own.
There's a sparkle in his uncovered eye and a wide grin on his face as he breathes out,
“You like me?”
You stiffen as your expression sinks nervously, only able to give him a soft,
“... Yeah….”
There's a single moment between you before your back is pressed onto the bed and Sanji is on top of you, his hands on either side of your head with one leg in between yours.
Shivers run over your body in anticipation, your eyes staring up into both of his as his hair dangles over you, showing every part of his beautiful face. You gently reach up and cup one of his cheeks in your palm, watching with a soaring heart as his eyes fall shut and he presses further into your palm.
“For so long…” He started, his voice just above a whisper. “I'd look at you and hope to God you could hear my thoughts racing, that you could hear how hard my heart beat for you…”
You felt your heart swell in adoration for him at his admittance, your own eyes slipping shut as he leans forward a bit to press his forehead against yours.
“For so long, all I wanted was for you to want me… the way I wanted you.”
The tip of his nose brushes against yours in a loving motion, his lips so close you could feel his breath dancing across your own.
“You don't even know how much you've healed me. My angel, my darling,” His voice cracks as he squeezes his eyes shut, fighting back tears as he pours his heart out to you. You sniffle softly, tears of your own prickling at your eyes as you open them and listen to him continue.
“There isn't a day that goes by that I just… I don't feel good enough. For you, for this crew… but the last couple days really showed me how cherished I am.”
Pulling back to stare down at you with teary eyes, Sanji somehow gets out,
“I will never take your love for granted, Y/N. I love you and I don't care if you don't feel the same-”
You cut him off with a kiss, leaning your head up just enough to capture his lips, effectively silencing him.
When you pull back, his eyes are wide, tears streaming down his face as you softly comment,
“Sanji, I love you, and I have for a long time. I thought I was going to lose you to Pudding, and that I'd never see you again,” your tears flooded down the sides of your eyes as you looked up at him. “I thought I'd never get the chance to tell you how much you meant to me.”
Sanji leans down and hugs you tightly, hiding his face in the side of your neck as he sobs silently. You cling to him, rubbing your fingers over his back and through his soft hair, murmuring loving words to him as he lets all his emotions out.
It takes a long while for Sanji to finally settle, his eyes red and achy when he finally pulls back to stare down at you. You wiped at his eyes gently as you confidently reminded him,
“Black Leg Sanji, I love you, now and forever. Do not ever forget the family you have here.”
A wide grin breaks out over his face as he leans down to kiss you, your lips melding with his as if they were made for him; like two souls made of the same star dust, colliding with each other and creating a blinding light for the world to see.
You pull away after a few moments, gently holding his face again as you murmur almost teasingly,
“I have a present for you.”
Sanji's expression makes him look like a child in a candy store with no beri limit, pulling away from you to sit back on his butt as he gushes,
“For me?! You didn't have to do that, my angel dearest,”
You cut him off with a lazy wave of your hand, sitting up and reaching into the top drawer of your desk and pulling out your small Den Den Mushi.
Sanji gives you a puzzled look as you dial in a number and hand the Den Den to him, leaning back on your headboard as it begins to ring.
Peru-peru-peru… peru-peru-peru…
Sanji almost drops your Den Den as an all too familiar voice barks out on the other end.
“This is The Baratie, Zeff speaking.”
Sanji feels like he's been punched in the chest, looking to you with watery eyes once more as you sit back with crossed arms, a smug grin on your face as you motion for him to say something.
“Carne, if this is another stupid fuckin’ prank-”
“You… shitty old man…”
There's a crackle on the other end, Sanji watching the face on the snail change from irritation to one of complete surprise.
He swears every hurt he'd ever felt in his life healed when Zeff finally spoke again.
“You shitty little eggplant…” There's another pause as he hears a sniffle from the snail.
“... My son!”

I can't hold it any longer....
My mind is still thinking about those identical trains....
Here's the platonic yandere Emmet and Ingo Brud!reader. *Sighs in defeat*
it took you two days for you to escape hell, to escape them. It hurts you to see your friends hurting you, especially Simon. He was the one who ate your head, your torso and also your hat that hides the spike on your head.
You don't know why this is happening to you and everyone, but the only thing you know is when black came uninvited everything turns to hell.
And right now, you are currently in a tunnel with a train tracks that you don't know of, it was foreign to you. It was pretty dark out here to the point it made you accidentally bump your forehead on walls many times that you lost count. And to be honest, it makes you more dumber than you already are.
As you were wandering not knowing where to go, you see two tunnel that leads to a different path.
You chose left.
After a minutes of wandering, you saw something on the wall so you take a closer look to see what it was and turns out, it was your favorite food to eat when you are alone!
What food you may ask?
it's a moss of course!
Since no one is around here, you can eat it without the eyes of someone else watching you with judgemental eyes. You grabbed the moss on the wall and ate it with a smile on your face.
As you were having a momento with your food, you heard a faint and echoey footsteps that sounded like it was in front of you. You stopped eating and looked up to the source of the sound. You may be dumb and stupid but that doesn't mean you don't know how to be cautious of your surroundings, especially after what happened to your friends.
You squint your one eye, to see who the figure is in the dark. It's hard to look at one eye to be honest.
In the dark, you see a man holding a lamp. He was wearing a white conductor, and a creepy smile on his face why does he looked like wenda. Should you run away or should you walk up to him and say hi?
Running away sounds stupid like you already are, so you chose the second option. Walk up to him and say hi.
So you did, you walk up to him and say 'hi' or more like you sang in a distorted tone "🎶🎵🎵🎶!" The smiling man looked at you and blinked owlishly twice. And that's when he started to noticed your wounds, especially the one on your head. His smile uncharacteristically turned upsidedown at the sight of your wounds.
Tumblr media
"Goodness! You are deeply injured!"
After that encounter he had with you, you were immediately sent to the hospital to treat your wounds that is waaay too concerning for Emmet. Like waaaaaaaaay concerning that he stays outside the medic room and wait till you are wrapped up in a bandages. He wants to know if you are okay. Seeing you like that makes him think how are you still alive? You had a huge bite mark on your head. Did a hostile Pokemon bit your head out of hunger?
When he saw you approaching him in that tunnel, he was about to start asking you questions like why are you here and where are your parents and you are not supposed to be here but when you spoke he stopped. He did not understand what you said to him.
Meanwhile
With you
You swing your legs as you are sitting on the edge of a bed, you wondered what would happen if you go to the right tunnel. The nurse came to check you up once more before calling the man in white inside to see you.

Sanji finding out you can bloodbend. [GN Reader].
Tumblr media
Summary: you ate the water-water fruit, making you able to control water, and you decide to test a new technique on Sanji.
Warning: masturbation, inappropriate use of devil fruit power.
----
- Good morning, Y/N-san! - Sanji welcomed you with a friendly smile when he saw you entering the kitchen. - you have been waking up very early lately, may I know why, my dear? - he got curious that you are the second of the crew to wake up, Sanji gently places your typical breakfast on the table and you thank him.
- Good Morning Sanji-Kun, I'm waking up early because I'm training and trying to improve my skills, Zoro is helping me too. - Sanji frowned after hearing the name of the swordsman he hates, making you laugh at his jealousy.
- why is that marimo helping you? he's not even a devil fruit user. - Sanji grumbles and it was true, you ate the water-water fruit, making you being able to manipulate water or any other type of liquid.
you and Zoro have nothing in common, why are you spending your time with that stupid moss-head? this is what Sanji is thinking.
- you know, my water powers are very versatile, Sanji-Kun, and recently I discovered that I can create water swords, and Zoro is teaching me some moves, don't you think that's cool? - you were still in the process of discovering your abilities, being able to get stronger to protect your friends made you very excited.
and luckily your devil fruit is very versatile, granting you a great arsenal of techniques that you've been developing lately.
- if you want to get really strong, don't waste time with moss-head, train with me instead! - Sanji keeps complaining burning with jealousy and an idea flashes through your dirty mind and a teasing smile appears on your lips.
- I would love to test my new technique on you, Sanji-Kun, if you don't mind. - you rest your head on your hand trying to look like you're not thinking dirty about Sanji submitting to you.
- YES! YES! YES! - he spins towards you with his signature heart-eyes. - I would be very grateful if you train with me, my dear. - Sanji was so excited, not knowing what was coming for him, you found yourself chuckling internally at his naivety.
- so let's start, but first, why don't you shut the door, so we can have some privacy, my angel? - you suggest to Sanji, the rest of the crew is still sleeping, only Zoro is awake, but he is busy lifting weights.
- anything you ask, Y/N-san! - Sanji was about to walk to the door, but his legs weren't moving, let alone the rest of his body. - w-what?! - he tries to move but he felt like he couldn't control his own movements.
- what happened, Sanji? - a teasing smile appears on your lips. - you can't move your body? maybe i should help you, my sweetie. - Sanji gasped when you controlled his body and made him close the kitchen door.
- how do you manage to do that, y/n-san?! - he wipes a cold sweat on his face upon realizing his your technique.
- I call it... Bloodbending. - you sit on the table. - in one of my training sessions, I discovered that I can control the blood inside another person's body, and manipulate it like a puppet. - with a flick of your finger you made Sanji come to you and sit down in a chair in front of you.
- that's re-really good, y/n-san, i'm so proud of you. - Sanji was proud that you developed your skills, but at the same time a little nervous, knowing the possibilities that this new technique could cause.
- and I'm thinking of testing this new technique on you, Sanji-kun. - your hand gently strokes his face. - do you allow me to do this? use your words, my pretty boy.
- y-yes, you can do whatever you want with me, y/n-san. - Sanji felt pathetic with those words coming out of his mouth and how easily he surrendered to your control, but he trusts you a lot, and the fact that you can impose your will on him has made him so turned on.
- I will make you touch yourself. - you move your hands, controlling Sanji like a puppet, and make him drop his pants, you could hear Sanji grunt softly, already hard. - It's a bit painful isn't it? I'm controlling every muscle and every vein in your body.
- you know i'm used to dealing with pain, my love, please d-don't stop. - Sanji thirstily begs you to continue controlling his body, the poor cook was already sweating and out of breath and you haven't even made him touch himself yet.
- so eager... Sanji-kun. - you chuckled having fun with Sanji being a mess. - let's start our fun shall we? it would be a shame if someone opened the door and found you like this. - Sanji got even more excited knowing the risk he was taking.
- please... y/n-san... - you started controlling Sanji again, making his hand go to his hard cock, without wasting time, you made the blonde touch himself, one hand stroking his dick and the other touching his nipples under his shirt.
you made Sanji lift his head and look you straight in the eyes, he feels his face go red from the eye contact, you could see by his expression how desperate he is to please you.
- look how good you are to me, letting me do whatever I want with you. - Sanji gave a short happy smile at the compliment.
Sanji keeps jerking off, the pre-cum was already leaking from his cock, you made him swipe it and then put his finger in your mouth so you could taste it.
his moans get louder and louder, the blonde can't help it due to the immense pleasure he is feeling, you knew he was going to come at any moment.
- Sanji-kun, you were so good at being my little puppet. - you grab his hair and bring your face close to his ear. - cum for me, my pretty boy.
Sanji felt his skin crawl with you whispering in his ear, it didn't take long until he came, accompanied by a loud growl he couldn't control, you hoped no one on the crew heard.
the cook was a real mess after what you did to him, sweating and out of breath with his clothes all dirty with his cum.
- are you okay, Sanji-kun? - you get up from the table and approach him to help him. - you better clean yourself up and change your clothes.
- i've never felt so good in my entire life, y/n-san. - Sanji quickly reverts to his passionate mood and puts his pants on. - I am flattered that you trusted me to test this new technique, I couldn't move a muscle in my body, imagine what you can do on a battlefield? nobody stands a chance against you! my dear! - he was really proud of you and thinking of how many enemies you could take down with your bloodbending.
- oh really? we can do this more often, why don't you go bathe huh? you are a mess. - Sanji chose not to argue and went to do as you asked, leaving the kitchen happy and excited about the next time you make him your puppet again.
- oi, why is the annoying cook in such a good mood today? - Zoro entered the kitchen curious after running into Sanji on the ship's deck.
- I haven't the slightest idea, moss-head. - you chuckled and left the kitchen, but not before using your bloodbending technique and making Zoro smack himself in the head, leaving the poor swordsman even more confused.
- how did they learn that?! - Zoro scratches the back of his head with a big "???" on his face.
