A/N: this is not inspired and is kinda long cuz i felt bad for not posting on the scheduled day because, I still have to study. its my first time writing so leave your feedback.

I just wanted to say there are some changes in this story and it doesn't follow the plot line completely because well i needed it to be like that i hope you understand.

The first time you met Yoojin was before he regressed in a cafe. Y/N forgot her wallet so he decided to be a gentleman and pay for her coffee they sat together and talked, they just clicked. Yoojin wanted to meet he again

The second time he met her was in a dungeon. Being the weakest Yoojin was mistreated a lot, here it wasn't any different either. He was being pushed around beaten up and degraded. That's when he heard the voice, the angelic voice

"Hey!! what do you think you are doin???!!"

He looked up to see her, Y/N L/N a D rank healer, the same person from the cafe, who was busy healing the injured. she was quite famous for her kindness and brutalness. She was running towards them with hardened gaze and a frown on her face

He Found Her

"What is happening her- OH MY GOD! ARE YOU OKAY??." She asked worriedly while casting a healing on him.

"Its nothing, we were just having fun. Right... Yoojin?" some d rank hunter said looking at Yoojin

"Cut the crap, I saw. And we are leaving." Her cold voice sent shivers down the other hunters's spine, as she grabbed Yoojin's hand and started walking away with him.

'Her hand is warm.' he thought while being dragged by the H/Cnette.

That was when the obsession begin.....

Yoojin had created walls around his heart, and never trusted anyone. But you stared to slowly but surely break those walls and make your way into his heart.

You and Yoojin started dating 2 months after the day you saved him.

At the end of the second month Yoojin decided to go meet Yoohyun. And Yoojin and Yoohyun ended up arguing. He came back home and told Y/N everything that happened, and Y/N comforted him by giving little kisses all over his face as he laid on top of he, hugging her tightly. 6 months into dating Y/N had reawakened became an S rank Healer giving her the title 'The Saintess'. This caused rifts between their relationship because Y/N had to constantly accompany S class hunters to dungeons. Yoojin wanted to accompany her but she would refuse saying 'Its too dangerous for you', which would always make him angry causing them to argue constantly. This caused them to break up.....

After a few weeks of the break up Yoojin decided to go in a D rank dungeon.....

But the 3 headed S class monster the Dragon appeared.....

But Yoohyun and Y/N also arrived to save Yoojin

Y/N died protecting both Yoohyun and Yoojin because she knew how much they ment to each other, but Yoohyun also died.

The day Yoojin lost his mind.... And defeated the dragon.

After defeating the Dungeon boss Yoojin getting 'kidnapped' by Riette and while defeating the 'puppet dragon' Vicus Y/N had gotten hurt but not too much, while she was healing all of them Yoojin was using his skill on Vicus and lost conciousness. Y/N lost conciousness with him meeting the Actual Dragon. You suffered with him all the torture just because you couldn't leave him alone.....

After that incident Yoojin had decided it is no longer safe for you to go in dungeons any more but you won't listen, so there is only one way to top you

Now choose'' said Eugene with a slightly stern voice as you shook your head. "Not to worry then, we'll pick for you'' spoke Hangyul as he pulled out a remote and pressed the number 3 on it. The room in which your friends were trapped in glowed red as the number 3 was visible on the wall. A few men with masks grabbed one of your friends and twisted your friend's neck and you could literally hear the sound of their bones snapping before they fell down to the ground limp and lifeless. "NO!" you screamed as you flailed around and tried to escape from their strong grasp but no avail. "Please let them go! Please...'' you pleaded as your tears continued to flow. "Awww...darling don't cry...this is for your own good you know'' whispered Hangyul as he kissed your tears away and Eugene caressed your other cheek with his cold fingers in a nimble manner

Eugene pressed another button on the remote as the room glowed 1 and you could see the men in the masks drag your other friend and they pulled out sharp knives and stabbed your friend till the ground was covered in a crimson pool of your dead friend's blood while you watched on with horror, angry at yourself for being so pathetic that you couldn't save your friends from their deaths. "You...you said you'd spare one at least. Please just spare the last'' you pleaded weakly, hoping against hope that they'd concede and give in. "Hm...let us think about it for a moment'' mumbled Hangyul as he tapped his chin playfully as Eugene spoke "I don't think they really deserve it though...would you like to do the honor?" asked Eugene as he handed the remote to Hangyul. You tried to snatch the remote from his hand as Eugene restrained you by pulling you onto his lap and caged your body with his arms while you struggled to free yourself from him. The button was pressed and the last of your friends fell down to the ground lifeless and dead as a single bullet to the forehead painted the ground of that room with the spilled blood of your dear friends

You sat there still and motionless as you just witnessed the deaths of your dearest friends and hated that you were powerless to stop it from happening as silent tears streamed down your cheeks and you trembled slightly. When you woke up, you have bandages all around your torso and were in someone's room to which you recognise as Han Yoojin's room. 'Wait why am I in his room..?' You questioned. The door to your left suddenly opened and low and behold, who would've guessed it's the main character itself.

"Oh you're awake! I'm glad!" Han Yoojin exclaimed happily. You sat up from your laying position quickly, forgetting you were not supposed to show any strength. He flinched and quickly walk towards you to stop you from sitting up, "Ahh don't sit up so quickly! You're still hurt..!"

You winced at his caring nature but quickly faked a sweet smile at him. "It's fine, it doesn't hurt that much!" What a liar you are but this is light compare to the last story. Han Yoojin frown at your dismissal and you quickly changed the subject, "Where is the girl from before?"

"Ah- she's at training room right now. I'm about to check up on her!" He said. "Hyung, are you ready?" Someone called from out of the room and you immediately know who it is. The calling out 'hyung' is obvious as well. The person then entered the room and- 'He looks as majestic as Yoo Joonghyuk, that's not fair!' It's Han Yoohyun, Han Yoojin's famous little brother, "What are you doing?" You could feel his intimidating gaze directed towards you.

Once you three arrived at the training room floor, it's all... been absolutely wrecked out with ice everywhere. "...What was that about withstanding S-rank attacks?" The three of you look at the damaged done before you then saw Bak Yerim in a blue hoodie and doing a flip in the air. Landing on the ground crouching, then standing up to attack the poor punching bag with some more ice coming out of her fist. You can see her mouth moving but you can't hear what she said. She then slammed her foot on the ground as shadows starts to stretch and form far and wide, grabbing at everything it can reach. She activated her skill and the grips of the shadows tightened to which Han Yoojin freaked out at, while you just... stepped to the side a bit.

Then, she once again stomped her foot on the floor but this time, it cracked under the pressure like the rest of the surrounding. She runs forward, each step create more and more damage until she stop to punch the floor and ruin it while saying 'Bazinga." near you three. It was within hearing range so you cringed a bit at that, 'I know you were going to say that but I was hoping you wouldn't.'

You hold back a laugh seeing the state Han Yoojin is in, looking like he's about to die shriveled up. You crouch down beside him to poke at his cheek while Han Yoohyun yelling at his brother seem to caught the busy girl's attention. Bak Yerim flinched in shock at him as Han Yoojin complimented the girl faintly and Han Yoohyun is acting like his brother is about to die while you're still poking at his cheek. When Bak Yerim took off her hood and asked if Han Yoojin was okay, the latter is surprise to see her new haircut. Sparkles surround you when you saw how pretty she looks, not minding the fact that Han Yoojin almost seemed to panic at her new change. They exchanged a more words to each other, as you stand there with a small smile.

The girl glance to Han Yoojin's side and saw you to which she beamed more brightly. "It's you!" She grabbed your hands enthusiastically, "I'm so glad to see you awake- Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't introduce myself! I'm Back Yerim!" cutting herself off to introduce herself with a boyish grin. I've been thinking about this since yesterday.. so let's begin.

yoojin : i rate him 9/10, you want to play with him? he's rather play with you or told you to play with yoosung (i don't mind playing with yoosung tho-) since you know he's busy. you want something? just told him what you want, the thing will show up at your house the next day. (he's the type of “you need something? then have it.” even tho he can't play with you often, if you need him he will be there.)

(ig? but it's kinda hard if you want to date him when you have an inner child, cause sometimes he have to be serious. so he expected you to do it too.) you're sad? well.. say goodbye to the person who makes you sad. like literally he maybe wouldn't intervene directly but he will told someone to ruin the person life.

jonggun : almost like yoojin but. yes there is a but. it's not yoosung, it's jungoo- and ofc don't forget him! he will play with you.. hide and seek? sure. or anything else. you know when he beat up gimyung cause of toto right? well.. let's just say before he go there you wanted to go to the amusement park.. then right after he was done he will go to you and say “c'mon. you wanted to go to the amusement park right?” oh.. you're sad? who make you sad? jungoo : NAH BRO I RATE THIS MAN 10000/10. you want to play with him? even tho he have to go somewhere else right now he will play with you first. you're sad? forget it. when you see him you wouldn't be sad anymore. cause he literally bought the person in front of you and said “this person right?” what did he to to you? beat you up? or anything? then jungoo will to that to the person too.

dg : since he's an idol, i'm pretty sure he write 1 or more song for you (he didn't publish it tho-) he literally had a play room for you in his mansion. sadly if you wanted his attention you can't have it all day since yk. he's an idol- but don't worry, he just have to make you his manager right? Han Yoojin still has nightmares and visions of the past. 

He dreams of his incompetence and his sorrows, his uselessness and ignorance. 

Every time he sees you, now the S-Class Saintess in the spotlight, there’s something that gnaws at him, telling him to stay away because he was the danger in your first life.

His inferiority was dangerous, as it influenced his attitude and behaviour, but then he met you. 

His healing was slow and gradual, and perhaps now he realized that his brother cared too. After all, you who reported his healing journey to Yoohyun, and Yoohyun, protected both of you in the shadows.

Losing your Father was devastating.

It took weeks for your family to grieve. Yoojin remembers standing beside Yoohyun, and watching you, your mother and your brother pray, cry, and grieve. 

That was when you decided to work more to help support the family, even though the job of a hunter is dangerous.

No matter what your family says, you stubbornly chose to earn money so they can live comfortably.

Even if he was useless, Yoojin always tried to go with you into every dungeon, so he can protect you. After all, he made an oath.

“Father.” Yoojin remembered kneeling before your Father’s photo and kowtow.

“It’s because Haeyeon Guild has enemies, and they targeted sister-in-law. They led her into that B-Class dungeon.” Yoojin felt his hands shake as he let go due to shock, his vision blurs, and he tried hard to not let those tears fall. 

“They’re dead now.” Yoohyun says robotically, but the emptiness in his eyes didn’t clear up.

For a moment, the two brothers stood them silently, both gripping at the sad reality. 

“It doesn’t matter anymore. She’s gone.” 

Pathetic. Yoojin couldn’t hold back his tears, just like how he couldn’t protect you. 

Again, a beat of silence.

“Hyung.” As if the reality couldn’t be worse, Yoohyun pulled out a file and handed it to him. 

“I got this from our investigation.” 

Dully, he reached out to read it even though his heart had sunk. 

It was a hospital checkup letter, and when he read it, Yoojin felt dizzy, nauseous as if he was gonna throw up. He remembered that you went out to get a checkup because you weren’t feeling well. 

As if everything was coming to him at once, his legs finally gave out under pressure. 

He just wanted to be with you, but why? Why did you leave him? Just like his parents did? 

“Hyung. Hyung!” Yoohyun managed to catch him before he fainted. 

You were two months pregnant with a child.

His child. Their child. 

Their child that he could never see.

“Yoojin!” Yoojin was used to these nightmares, whenever he woke up, he was out of breath, terrified and self-loathing. 

But this time, you were there. 

Why were you there? It was his room? 

“(Y/N)?” Breathless, he reached out to you, and gently grazed your cheeks. Tears rolled down his cheeks when he thought of your memorial and funeral. 

He wanted to hold you, kiss you, and cuddle you in his arms. 

But he held himself back, he was afraid of repeating the past. 

“I love you.” It was such a tiny whisper, he wondered if you even heard it, and if you did, what would happen? 

Never in a thousand years, would he hear these words from you. 

“I love you too.”

In that instant, it was as if the dam broke. Yoojin remembered the unbearable grief, the sleepless nights, and the desperate wish for a second chance.

Without a word, you pulled him into your arms, holding him tightly against your chest. The warmth of your body, the steady rhythm of your heartbeat, was a lifeline that grounded him in the present. "We were victims. But we're here now, together. We have another chance, and we’re stronger now."

Yoojin cupped your face in his hands, his thumbs brushing away tears.

"I promise you," he said, his voice steady despite the tears streaming down his face, "I will protect you. I won't let anything take you away from me again."

You nodded, a small, sad smile tugging at her lips. 

"And I will always stand by your side, no matter what."

They stayed like that for what felt like an eternity, holding each other as they cried, their tears mingling together. The pain of their past life was still there, a haunting reminder of what they had lost, but in each other's arms, it felt that nothing else mattered.

Yoojin’s voice wavered as he responded, “I promise to protect you, to cherish every moment we have. I love you more than words can say. In this life and the next, I’m yours.”

When the officiant pronounced you husband and wife, it felt like the world had stopped, and it was just the two of you in the center of the world. Yoojin’s hands trembled slightly as he held yours, but his grip was firm, determined.

“You may kiss the bride,” the officiant announced, and Yoojin leaned in, his lips meeting yours in a kiss that was both tender and passionate. It was a kiss that spoke of promises kept and everything he’s been fighting for all his life.
