I have some wonderful news
For ages it’s bothered me that the Yogscast Live channel doesn’t have the VODs for the 2012 and 2013 charity livestreams.
Fortunately, after a bit of searching, I found them on Archive.org.
Unfortunately, they were all split up into 30 minute segments and incorrectly ordered in many places.
So, after several days of work I have edited all the streams back into their full lengths* and posted them via @yogarchive in their proper glory.
Please enjoy this collection of (semi) lost Yogscast media :]
Honeydew's Honey Drive (2012) | Dwarven Dairy Drive (2013)
*Many of the 2012 streams are incomplete/missing small chunks of footage. I have decided to edit and upload them despite this to preserve as much content as possible. I have put markers in the videos where the missing chunks are and hopefully I will find full length versions of the VODs at some point

Thank you Yogscast (and the fandom) for 10 years
youtube
This was the first Yogscast video I watched, some six years ago. It’s just a short little Minecraft update video, but in seven minutes these guys managed to hook me for six years.  My experience of them went from two guys playing Minecraft to the dozens of content producers and the company they have become. I essentially spent my teens watching these guys every day after school, and it’s crazy how much they’ve done in that time.
I’ve gone from excitedly clicking on the new episodes of SOI, to the various adventure maps (Professor Grizwald, anyone?), to the Yogpod, to them hitting a million subs, to songs like Hey Yogscast and the Diggy hole remix, to group challenges like Crown Conquest, the Walls, the Wool Races, to series like Jaffa Factory, Voltz, Moonquest, Hole Diggers, To The Core, Deep Space Mine, and to the very first Yogsquest.
We went from not knowing most of their real names or what they looked like (and if we did know, it was because there was like one old sketchy photo), to constant livestreams and Lewis playing poker in a coconut bra. Our fandom has ballooned and, admittedly, shrunk too. I remember Sips’ toaster mic, and Sjin building cities, and Duncan building complex modded machines. I remember Sips and Sjin being more or less synonymous with each other and doing series after series together. I remember the Blackrock Chronicles.
I’ve watched the christmas live streams grow tremendously (The first one I watched in 2012 raised $365,835 with 13,407 donators, compared to last year’s $5,244,838 with 148,853 donators). They have lost members, and gained members. There has been good times and bad, but mostly a lot of laughs and unbelievable generosity and community.  It’s truly been quite a journey to watch them grow and change, and to now get to celebrate how far they’ve come. I am proud to call myself a Yognau(gh)t.
I might not watch them as much I did once (I’m more of a Hatter now) but I am still very appreciative for all the content of theirs I have seen over the years, and the formative role they had while I was growing up.
Thank you to the Yogscast, and thank you to this fandom for making incredible content and being so supportive all these years to these fantastic people.

Hello everyone! It’s almost December and you know what that means! Christmas.. and The Yogscast Jingle Jam Charity Livestreams! Ever since 2014/2015 they have been doing charities around the world and charity streaming since 2011!! Over the 6 years, you the fans, have raised over 6 million dollars for charity! That’s crazy! Last year was the year where they reached 1 million dollars in a 6 days! Not even a week! They later in the month reached 2.5 million dollars by the end of the month! Jingle Jam 2017 starts this Friday!! They stream at twitch.tv/yogscast. Lewis published an announcement video today (https://youtu.be/7IDwgApdOPE) and he talks about it and how much he loves us. Even if you aren’t a fan, you don’t have to watch, you can just donate. More details will come later this week!

December Livestream Schedule
I've mentioned before that I'm trying to get on a decent livestream schedule.  Well, December's a crap month for it, because of the Jingle Jam.  If you don't know what the Jingle Jam is, every year for the month of December, the Yogscast host a massive charity drive with livestreams happening all day.  In fact, if you're looking for some charities to donate to, and do some Christmas shopping at the same time, check out their Humble Bundle.  This link will not go live until December 1st, but the charities included are as follows:
Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation - http://ift.tt/1cIofuz
Cancer Research UK - http://ift.tt/1B661KL
International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association - http://ift.tt/1FsZdi2
Whale and Dolphin Conservation - http://ift.tt/2gMuweH
Special Effect - http://ift.tt/1RAa5RY
Mental Health Foundation - http://ift.tt/PnsjpY
Save the Children - http://ift.tt/rW1bI7
Humble’s Choose Your Own Charity - Over three thousand amazing causes, so if there is something close to your heart, you can choose to buy games and do great things with the money!
The Yogscast also work closely with game devs to make this something even more special.  Donations over $35 will also get an advent-style gift packages of games and DLC for the month of December.  This year, the total value of the package is $600.  Every day, you'll get an email with a new set of Steam codes, for you to keep or give away as you choose.  This has been my husband's Christmas gift for the last couple of years, and will be again this year.  What does this have to do with my livestream schedule?  Well, a lot.  Because my December usually has me glued to the screen watching these streams.  Because of this and a variety of other factors, my usual streams will no longer be at 10am.  I may still do some random 10am streams, but they will not be happening with any regularity.  Instead, I'll be streaming at 6pm.  I know this is a bit late for people outside the US, but 10am was a weird time for people in the US.  And for me.  And for my husband, who doesn't go to bed until 7am, and is often asleep in the next room.  10am streams will mostly be on days when he's home and awake at that time.  But they will definitely NOT be on the following days:
Friday 1st
Saturday 2nd
Monday 4th
Wednesday 6th
Friday 8th
Sunday 10th
Tuesday 12th
Wednesday 13th
Sunday 17th
Monday 18th
Tuesday 19th
Thursday 21st
On these days, I will be watching a bunch of grown-ass adults drink too much gin and get salty at video games.  Outside of these days, morning streams will depend on my husband's schedule, which is nebulous and in a constant state of flux. But I'm hoping the 6pm streams let more people come in and participate.  6pm streams may wind up cancelled at the last minute, depending on who the Late Night guest is, and how long Late Night streams run. from Blogger http://ift.tt/2AKEx96 via IFTTT

okay I dont really know how to start this but the point of the whole text is that im bored of the yogscast and I think im done. I'll explain. (sorry this isnt under a read more tab im on mobile) My sister introduced me to the yogs way back in 2012 and I really loved them, they were my joy and the thing I looked forward to everyday especially considering I was in a really bad spot in my life and didnt consider myself as someone who had a SINGLE friend. so they felt like a family to me in 2014 I was in a better place. I moved schools and I had and made some really good friends. my friend recommended tumblr to me so I could share fanart of the yogs that I had been creating since 2011. and I did and I really enjoyed myself and made excellent friends. I continued to enjoy the yogs a lot until about half way through 2015 and I started to loose intrest a bit after the whole drama of sjin and how they told us to go fuck ourselves and how they constantly portray us as the creepy fans I really noticed that they didnt care about us at all so I thought "why the fuck should I care about them?" but I still watched the content waiting for the yogscast to change my mind and make me regain intrest in them, which is kind of the attitude I had going into 2016 but then on the 11th of January, I found out that my life long idol and rolemodel, David Bowie passed away after a silent 18 month battle with cancer. I fell into this really horrible depression and I felt sad everyday, there were little to no good days at all. I also had a large ammount of people feel the need to send me death threats because david bowie was apparently someone who was problematic but is actually not if they did any research before they told me to kill my self but whatever. so at this point the yogscast was the last thing on my mind and nothing else mattered apart from david. so I stopped watching their content. BUT this November I promised that I would get back into the yogscast with the christmas livestreams and the new year and I really did enjoy about 2 or 3 livestreams a lot but I didnt much care for the rest. I also mentioned I wanted to make art which people like @hawtfilms (someone I consider to be a dear friend <3) reacted positively to! but I havent had the motivation for it and I dont think I will becuase now I consider my self as someone whos very out of touch with the yogs considering I barely watched any content in 2016 so after that I really focused on what was important to me, I shifted my happiness onto music, art and david bowie who is someone whos made me happy since I was about 4. I also needed to/still figure out some stuff in my personal life so I really dont have the need or time to watch 20 minute videos on 20 different channels everyday To sum thiss all up, Ive changed a lot since 2011 and im glad I have becuase I had become more and more angry at the yogscast rather than happy to enjoy their content. During all the sjin drama I really loathed them all for not apologizing and making fun of us. they went against everything I stand for so why the hell should I continue to support them when they treat us like creeps. idk how many of you have idols who have died in the teen years of your life but It really really sucks. and you can probably understand the situation I'm in if you have. I dont know what this means for hott4trott but blog wise its definitely hit its peak. I dont post any art and I dont feel the need to. im far more active on @moonagedaydreamin and im far more happy there. im sorry to drop this downer on you guys but I needed to update you on my situation because I feel like im the only person in this fan base sometimes. love always, Ella x

December 2, 2017
This morning I woke up at 8:30AM, which means I only got five and a half hours of sleep.  But I was wide awake so I decided to get out of bed.  I spent my morning playing a bit of CoD: WW2 and continuing to watch the recording of the first day of the Yogscast's Jingle Jam.
Around 2:30PM I finally made it over to my Mom's house to do laundry.  If all goes well next Friday, I should be able to do laundry with my own washer and dryer next weekend.  While my laundry was going I wanted to take a nap but I apparently wasn't tired enough because I couldn't fall asleep. Instead I watched Star Trek: Voyager and looked through a couple cross stitch books I checked out from the library.  I also put up some Christmas lights on the front porch because my Mom wanted them.
When I got home I ate dinner, watched the Yogscast stream, and eventually played a little CoD: WW2.  I unlocked the gold camo for one of my sniper rifles.  Turns out I need to unlock the gold camo for the other three sniper rifles in order to unlock the diamond camo for all of them.  That'll take awhile.
And that was pretty much my day.  I just finished watching the first day of the livestream and now I'm watching YouTube videos.  And soon I'll be going to bed.  I'm looking forward to that.
