Surya Namaskar There would be no life on Earth without the Sun. Surya Namaskar is a very ancient technique of honoring the Sun or expressing gratitude for being the source of all forms of life on the planet. Symbolically, the Sun also becomes the source of our energy. #Drishti Drishti is an awe-inspiring technique that develops concentration - and teaches you to see the world as it really is. Ancient yogis discovered that where our gaze is directed, our focus naturally occurs, and that the quality of our gaze is directly reflected in the quality of our mental thoughts. When a gaze is placed on a point, the mind is reduced when stimulated by all other external objects. It is the yoga version of the front splits. Hanumanasana is an intermediate level yoga posture that derives its name from the giant leap made by Lord Hanuman from the southern tip of India to the island of Sri Lanka in the Ramayana. #Benefits of #Hanumanasana:- Hanumanasana stretches and strengthens muscles in the hamstrings, thighs and groin region. This yoga pose also stimulates the abdominal organs and improves their functioning. Regular practice of this pose ensures that the hips become more flexible over a period of time. #Prerequisite:- Hanumanasana opens the hips and stretches muscles in the groin and hamstring region. Ensure to warm up yourself with some hip-opening exercises before getting into this pose. #Contraindications:- Refrain from practicing this yoga pose if you have an injury in the hamstring or groin area.
