Today’s 10 Minutes A Day Workout includes static holds at the end of each weight set, aka Anabolic Stretching. Traditional stretching involves using your own bodyweight to stress your tissue. Anabolic stretching adds weights to the equation. This helps your body to adapt to strain, giving your muscles more power at their maximum flexed position. Holding and resisting weight at the end range of a movement, where your muscles are at a constant length, can dramatically speed up muscle growth, strength, and recovery. Add this finisher to your workouts and your body will become more flexible and stronger in much less time💪 This is one of the keys to why #sportyoga is such an efficient modality!
