They know other cookies don't like them much. They're use to it, being so burnt, half way to crumbs tends to put cookies off, but people usually are just disgusted. not, angry? "Are you alright?" He hopes he didn't do anything wrong to White Lilly Cookie. Shes Y/N's best friend after all White Lily Cookie walked closer, her hands shaking with the intensity she gripped her staff with. This crumbly mess does not DESERVE her Y/N Cookie Burnt cookie stepped back, the embers stuck into their feet heating up with their panic. He can't fight a ancient! and why is she so angry?? what did he do? " I don't know what happened but i'm so-" White Lilly swung her staff with all the power she could muster, aiming for the crumbly messes head. Burnt cookie, stepped back quickly. They've had be react violently to them before after all. Eyes wide in shock, burnt cookie stares into White Lilly's eyes. Nothing but power and rage behind them, he needs to talk to Y/N cookie about this. so Burnt Cookie takes a deep breath Before turning around and bolting inspired by @brittle-doughie Anguish Before Matrimony, and just brittle doughies stuff ingeneral! but with one of my ocs

Hoshizora no Melody has my favorite lyrics in the game it's not even a tough choice. I love how well every character's arc is conveyed through only a few lines it's so good. Emu could never and would never leave PXL (her grandad) behind, and WxS was able to finally change things for her and help her protect it. Rui was outcast his whole life and he came to accept it as something that would never change - it wasn't until WxS (Tsukasa) reached out to him and let him be passionate about his dreams without judging him that he was finally able to turn things around. Tsukasa throws his all into theatre (making people happy) and it's something that is so deeply ingrained as a part of himself, but WxS let him actually pave the way to make his dream a reality. Nene was too shy to face anyone and couldn't get over the things in her way (her past failures), but she was able to rediscover her passion for singing and is able to sing for everyone once again.

The prechorus parts too, Emu and Tsukasa sing the part about realising that the world can make people smile because both of their dreams are to make people smile. Emu and Rui singing about the world giving life back to things they'd given up because Rui gave up on the thought of belonging and Emu was going to have to give up the Wonder Stage. Rui getting the part about celebrating the colors of the world because his dream is to create shows that anyone can enjoy regardless of identity.

As you said I think Akito getting lines about dogs is a nice little bit of recurring irony. I particularly like this example from Gekokujo that conveys his unwavering determination and drive even when he's faced with forces pushing against him really nicely. Also just Gekokujo's lyrics as a whole I think reflect the event so well.

N25 probably has the best lyric game like there's so many good examples from their songs. Particular favorites would have to be Engeki for summarising basically Mafuyu's entire life in such a gut-punching way, and Tricologe for a similar reason for Hoshizora in that it just does such a good job of representing every character.

Gunjou Sanka is another favorite of mine. If you couldn't tell by now I love stuff that either tells a story or describes a character. Or both. All of Gunjou Sanka is so good and really packs a punch with the emotions but I really like the first verse and prechorus here where it describes the basics of each main story in just one or two lines each. I especially love the Leo/need segment about being able to believe in wanting to stay together since they've moved on from their pasts and are reuinted now.

And how could I forget Mr. Showtime. This one has such clever lyrics and I love the use of parentheses to add secondary meanings to certain parts. The whole song is perfection but I'm particularly fond of this section here, specifically the last line because it understands Tsukasa so much better than like half the fandom does. Theatre is something that Tsukasa genuinely dedicates everything to, in some ways (every way) it is his life. Phoenix is a great example to demonstrate that because it highlights just how much it means to him and how he's willing to put it above everything else, including his own wellbeing, to try and overcome the obstacles he faces. At the end of the day though, even if it's tough and can feel like it's taking too long or isn't worth it, the roadblocks he doesn't anticipate are the ones that help him improve most and get closer to his dream than anything else.

also just this one lyric from Showtime Ruler I love character development. Karasuyasabou actually says that's his favorite in the song, and he talked quite a lot about the lyrics for the rest of the song in his corocoro interview. I'd suggest giving it a read because it's pretty interesting what he says about how he wrote it.

My favourite yoke guy tribes according to maths and me.

I don't know why I decided to do this, but I remembered about my poll asking you lovely humans to vote on your favourite yo-kai tribe. Charming won unsurprisingly, and my friend gave me £1 for winning our bet. Yay :D

So, the dying question is, what's my favourite tribe? Well, I got bored and thought doing this might be funny. I'll give each yo-kai in a tribe a score of one to ten, add them up and divide by the number of yo-kai in said tribe to get the average. At least, I think that's how it works. I'm not very good at maths.

(Also excluding the Enma and Wandroid Tribes because of the small amount of yo-kai in those tribes. Enma Tribe is cool, Enma is a cool guy, and while I'm mad that Sighborg Y took forever to befriend. He's a funny little guy)

Brave - 563 divided by 82 = 6.9 (6.865)

Mysterious - 515 divided by 77 = 6.7 (6.688)

Tough - 555 divided by 83 = 6.7 (6.686)

Heartful - 547 divided by 79 = 6.9 (6.924)

Charming - 763 divided by 116 = 6.6

Shady - 624 divided by 87 = 7.1

Eerie - 473 divided by 73 = 6.4

Slippery - 446 divided by 71 = 6.2

In 8th place, we have the Slippery Tribe with a 6.2/10 with 446 points.

Now, don't get me wrong, just because this tribe is my least favourite doesn't mean I dislike all the yo-kai in it. I find Venoct/Shadow Venoct, the Mermaidyn line, Whisper and others pretty good!

Most of the yo-kai in this tribe are just neutral or not that great to me, though.

In 7th place, is the Eerie Tribe with a 6.4/10 and 473 points.

Like the Slippery Tribe, this tribe can be a hit or miss, in fact, I think this is the only tribe to have yo-kai to score 1 point. But there are some yo-kai in this tribe like Sandi, Foiletta and Zomboy I especially like.

In 6th place, is the Charming Tribe with a 6.6/10 and 763 points!

Now, before you ask, the charming tribe has a lot of yo-kai in it. Giving it a lot more points. But since I divided by the number of yo-kai, I got this score!

There were a lot of Nyans and Komas, and besides a select few, I was neutral on them and gave them around 5 points. Probably putting down the score.

My favourite yo-kai in this tribe are Skellabella, Bunchinyan and Unbearaboy!

In 5th place, we have the Tough Tribe with a 6.686/10 and 555 points!

Here's a fun fact, while rounding up all the scores. I realised the Tough Tribe and Mysterious Tribe were very, and I mean very close. Mysterious was 6.688/10. Because I didn't want to tie them, I couldn't round them up.

I'm neutral to many members of the tough tribe, they're good yo-kai, but I don't have much nostalgia for most of them. Still a fun tribe to use though.

My favourite yo-kai from this tribe are Robonyan, Toadal Dude and Skillskull.

As you might have guessed, with 515 points and a 6.688/10 we have the Mysterious Tribe in 4th place.

Like the tough tribe, my opinion on most of these guys is pretty neutral, but it's a fun tribe, that's for sure. I've used my fair sure of mysterious yo-kai in my various playthroughs.

My favourite yo-kai from this tribe are Casanuva/Casanono, Smogling and Agent Specthare.

We are now in the top three of my favourite yo-kai tribes.

In the number 3 spot, we have the Brave Tribe with a 6.8/10 and 563 points! Which was surprising to me, I didn't know I liked so many brave yo-kai until I did this.

But after going through the list, I realised that yeah, Brave Tribe yo-kai are pretty neato.

My favourites are Chansin and their evolutions, Illuminoct/Hovernyan and Slugger.

In 2nd place, is the Heartful Tribe with 6.9/10 and 547 points!

Now this wasn't too unsurprising, as I've always loved healers. Which most heartful yo-kai are. It's pretty great. So I was happy when I found out the tribe got this high up on my list.

I love a lot of yo-kai from this tribe, but my favourites are Hungramps, High Gnomey and Double Time.

And in 1st place, with a 7.1/10 and 624 points is...

The Shady Tribe, what a total shocker.

Now, to be honest, I think I'm neutral towards most of the Shady Tribe, but the ones I like are most likely my favourites, and got a lot of points because of it.

My favourites of this tribe are Blandon, Allnyta and Gorgeous Ambassador. But I like yo-kai like Eyesoar, Hidabat, Usapyon Dr. Nocturne and Rocky Badboya.

I love the Shady Tribe though, a bunch of gremlins.

Cyberpunk 2077 First Thoughts etc etc

yo- so lemme start off by sayin- half of this stuff is likely my own fault for not looking into it before actually buying it- but i’m gonna still gripe about it man. consider it a gentle critique, and a casual review. please read the review all the way through before commentin anythin. i’m used to expansive rpgs like the fallout franchise, or the elder scrolls, so perhaps i’m a bit spoiled- but i’d like to think i’m not the only one when i complain about this stuff. 1. dialogue and voice. i’m not sure whhhy- but i was expecting a better dialogue tree. it seems like you get such limited options- hardly a few things before the main prompt. not to mention v’s voice themselves. am i the only one that wishes for the rpgs of old where your character didn’t actually have a voice? now don’t get me wrong here- it’s not that i hate the voices they give you, it’s just that they’re not very- i unno flexible. when i make a character in an rpg i have a very specific voice in mind for them. like when reading a book you can hear how they sound in your head. i wanted to make a sweet baby cyber boi in cyberpunk- but it just doesn’t work with the ultimate chad voice i hear for male v. which brings me to another thing 8) 2.character customization. hmhmhm boi where do i begin with this. again, this is likely my fault, for not looking into the customization before getting the game- but it’s just so baD. i was hoping, prayinG that it would be better before launch. you can customize your nail color and lengTh. your gosh dang teeth color. your pP SIZE. bUT THERE ARE NO DIFFERENT BODY TYPES MAAAN. for one of my characters i wanted to make a thicc corpo rat. there are literally chubby npcs ingame. why can’t i make a chubby boy :,> a game that doesn’t have body types immediately loses a point for me. i love making multiple characters- and making them all look different and neat in their own way. i just think it's cool. sea of thieves has better customization than this game for cryin out loud smh and they don’T EVEN LET YOU CONTROL HOW TO MAKE IT. my only hope for this is that somewhere down the road- this game becomes nexus compatible and people throw up some amazing character maker mods. otherwise my game play is gonna be very depressing 8). not to mention the guuuys. ugh man. look i like scruffy bois- but what if i wanna make an immaculate e-boi. you’ve got a beard shadow present on the face all the time i can’T GET RID OF IT AaA. not to mention they look p old. mature bois are fine- but again if i’m trYING TO MAKE A SWEET BABY BOI IT DOESN’T QUITE WORK. please i pray to the nexus gods. heLP ME. 3. fan service. alrigHt. here’s where things get a lil touchy. i don’t quite know what to think of sexism- i personally don’t believe it exists in the majority of video games. however- like, i unno man. you ever notice how in video games the female characters always get these super sexy revealing stripper clothes. and the guys get this full plate armor. i’m talking about that. in cyberpunk the female characters just seem to have better models in general for the game. they look so much better. not to mention there’s so much female nudity. i’m a woman alright. i waNT TO SEE CUTE BOIS- WHERE ARE MY CUTE BOIS. i just feel like most games are tailored more towards guys. mmos- rpgs, the general. i feel like it’s mainly because most women aren’t actually into video games- so the corpo tailors it more towards guys, which makes sense ya know? i have no ill-will towards em it’s just frustrating :,>. please don’t come throwing hands at me saying you’re a gorl gamer and you’re upset by this. if you do you’re missin the whole point of this review. i’m just sayin- as a girl, i wanna see a buncha nice looking bois, not just a buncha nice looking gorls. where the hek is my fan service?? fallout 4 had real decent character customization- i unno why it’d be hard to do something like that. dragons dogma had god tier customization oh my gosh. i miss that :,> 4. notes general gripes gameplay etc etc the combat is p weak kek. it’s very generic, with nothing revolutionary. not to mention sidequests don’t actually change character development. also i find it suspicious the large amount of good reviews they got literally at the launch. don't get me wrong tho- it's got good replay promise! allowing for decent hours of content. but at the same time it feels a little barren? not to mention you need a pretty powerful pc- i am blessed enough to have one tho. my heart goes out to all you poor bois that tried to adjust the graphics and found out it did almost nothing. i'm- i unno i'm not sure what to rate the game. i guess if you want another neato rpg it's p fun- just don't get it for the character maker. if you don't care about that tho then go right ahead. i do however- believe that this game was incredibly over-hyped, and failed to deliver a large percentage of what it promised. something that really bugs me tho are the three backgrounds you get to pick. for some reason i expected them to have more of an impact and with different routes- since each one starts off from a different point and it even seems like you go through different events for some of em with different characters. but somehow- it still feels the same. like, i unno it’s a little hard to describe for me, like everything is re-skinned but the same content almost. kinda feels like the illusion of choice- but hey if you like it then good for you man. i feel like i’m gonna have to rate this a bad for now. just because it doesn’t feel like anything they promised- which was clever marketing on their part for sure. but it’s a little too late to return this game so imna get my money’s worth out of it you can believe that. who knows, maybe my opinion will change. i sure hope so :,>.

junmyeon - oof...... junmyeon will so desperately want everything to be perfect the way minseok does but it just won’t be and maybe he will FLY OFF THE FUCKING HANDLE about it but it’s fine because you love him and you low key (high key) think it’s hilarious when he’s losing it about dumb things. he’s rly nervous about you seeing his place (probably it’ll be for a date)... and u gotta reassure him like 19383453 times that it’s beautiful and you love him and he’s doing a good job. and let’s be honest... his place isn’t perfect, but it’s expensive and that’s hot and ur fuckin tonight on those nice silk sheets

yixing - i feel like you’d be on a date and he’d be like “yo wanna see my place” and you’d be like “yeah man” and he’d be like “neato let’s go” (maybe not in those words ok).... anyway u know the beginning of the honey mv? his apartment looks like that in my mind. so it’s pretty lit. and when you tell him it’s amazing he’d probably just shrug or something like he really don’t care man. he probably cleaned up a bit just in case but mostly unbothered.... he’d make u coffee with his fancy espresso machine and make out with you on the sofa.

baekhyun - oh god here we go... this would not be planned. you’d both be drunk. you’d both been sitting at this stupid bar flirting all night when you both know y’all just want to leave and FUCK. so when someone (baekhyun) finally gets the courage to say something, you go to most convenient location. which is baek’s place. is it clean? nope. is there stuff everywhere? absolutely. does it matter? not at all. maybe when you wake up the next morning you’ll laugh at the way he keeps his things and he’ll pout a little but mostly he’s just happy to have spent the night with u :’)jongdae - i feel like you’d get like 6 months into your relationship and be like “.... dae why have i never been to your apartment” and he’d just be like “i like coming here :)” but rly he’s just like weirdly private about his stuff and kinda scared to fully let ppl into his life but u know.... anyway eventually he’d have to give in and bring you over. it would really just be... simple. minimal. but everything would remind you of him. you’d probably get a tour but it would be cut short because you wouldn’t want to leave his bedroom (wink)

jongin - okay but is jongin capable of living on his own...... no really.... y’all i straight up have a hard time picturing him living alone. i really see him living with at least one of the members until he has someone else to live with u feel me. but like imagine he takes you over and you’re like making out on the couch and suddenly chanyeol walks in and is like “hey guys” and you’re like HOLY SHIT and jongin is just like OH HI :3 and you’re like HOW DID HE GET IN and he’s like “i live here lmao” and jongin is like “oops i forgot to tell you..... wanna see my pajama collection now?”

sehun - i also picture sehun living with someone else but i also picture him being the type to just fucking have an “extra” apartment for when he needs it. so like he brings you there and you’re like bro you don’t fucking live here and he’s like yeah i do and you’re like no honey there’s literally nothing here like not even a single plate. and he kinda freaks out and apologizes and says he just wanted to impress you and he lives with other ppl cause he doesn’t like being alone and this really is his place he just doesn’t use it and...... he’s very cute so you kiss him rly quick and he confirms that the apartment does, in fact, have a bed.(ooooooooof i need to chill.... hope this is okay!)

Unstable (A Fe Sides Fic)

Word Count: 2171

TW: It’s another vent fic babyyy swearing, yelling, insults, threats (sort of), an excess of anxiety, there’s an intrusive thought from one of them about jumping off of a building but its one line that she gets scolded for. I think that’s it but if there’s more let me know!

Notes: I had a really rough week last week and now that I’m done with school I have time to write fun things again and I needed a vent. It also is part of rebuilding my personal mind palace! I plan on making more with these guys, they are really easy to write honestly, it was like an out of body experience.

Pairings: Lol nope, not even a little bit no.

Summary: The mind palace was usually quiet. The facets did not all get along, and everyone is high strung during Quaranfinals. Someone needs to step in and get this train moving again.

The mind palace was usually rather quiet. All facets left each other alone for the most part, hoping to stay functional and avoid unnecessary fusions but the last few weeks had been out of the norm. Inge was high strung as ever and was snapping at the smallest inconveniences and that wasn’t even addressing the others.

“Listen here you unstable mother fucker! We don't have time for your whiny depressed bullshit right now! She has two huge finals and your fucking cahoots with Barbie is the opposite of helpful! She needs to WORK and you guys are actively working against that! Don't either of you care about her future?!”

“How about you shut your trap for 5 seconds and drop your high and mighty act? The only reason me and Izzy have been working against you is because you have been failing at your job ever since this quarantine started. If you actually did your fucking job maybe me and Iz wouldn’t be falling down a hole ourselves. For someone who needs to have so much control all the time it's surprising how little you’re ever able to keep. You act like you're the ringleader around here when it's obviously Izzy and Lia. I may not like Lia but at least she can work with me. You on the other hand-”

Lia and Isadora were nervous. They were onlookers in the argument and couldn't get a word in edgewise to stop them. Izzy was trying to hide in her Roman Sanders sweater and Lia was hidden in her hoodie that was too big on her, biting her thumb as her eyes darted everywhere but the fight. In the real world Fe was closing her laptop with a sigh, desperate to go and take a nap. She looked quickly to Izzy with all she had to say, communicated in the glance. Suddenly the palace shook and Inge snapped her head at Lia who was very interested at her chewed up Crocs and not the anger filled gazes directed at her.

“LIA WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!”

“She's too stressed. If you keep at this you're gonna wake up T and that wont help you in getting her to do her work. If T gets up right now she's gonna fail and we all know it. Let Izzy calm her down for a bit. See, she's only taking a half an hour long nap, like her dad told her to. We all just need to chill for a bit.”

Lia was scratching at her face and Inge finally let the anger and annoyance leave her. She gently swatted at Lia’s hand, placing a quickly conjured sheet of bubble wrap in it. Lia smiled at the floor, still not meeting her eyes, vaguely worried at the signs of T waking up, hoping beyond hope that she was just still channeling the hyperactivity that Fe was plagued with. Izzy was meanwhile glassy eyed, placing herself on the floor blindly, waving her hands about in a way that all three recognized as her weaving a dream. It was wonderful to watch, extremely relaxing to see her go off on an adventure of her own design. It was almost meditative to watch her methodical movements, the simple twists of her wrists as she moved the story along. Lia busied herself with popping the bubbles, as Carli and Inge both left to busy themselves in their own wings of the palace. Lia sat across from Isadora, glancing up at her every once in a while. She muttered quietly to herself and maybe Izzy as well.

“She's waking up. I don't know what we’re gonna do, we really gotta get Fe through this last week, but Isa will stop us, I know she will, but how are we supposed to still get things done”

“We’ll figure it out”

Lia’s head snapped up at Izzy whose eyes were still unseeing as she spoke.

“Talisa works with us. We just need to convince her to use her strengths to support us in this. I know she can. Besides, dreams are so much more fun with her around. Who knows, maybe daydream mode will help her write her essay”

Lia smiled softly as she felt comfortable enough to look Izzy in the eyes that couldn't see her. She nodded and went back to her bubble wrap, far more content with the slow draining of anxiety from her body. At least until the palace shook again.

“AAAAAH!!! Well what a wonderful time to be alive eh? Heh, that's a joke, gods, she's asleep and she's still exuding panic like no one's business!”

Out of a darkened corridor walks Talisa in all her glory and self deprecation. There was yet another shake as Fe awoke. Isadora’s eyes cleared in an instant as she rose to her feet.

“Oh boy, Pops woke her up? Ooooh that's not great. I'm sure she's gonna be off all day huh Iz? Oh that's just fuel for this, gosh what have I missed?”

“Quarantine you lucky bitch”

Izzy walks to her with a cocky grin and does a simple handshake with the crazy eyed side. Talisa’s eyes glance around the room. She grins wider, scratching at her scalp.

“All this panic and mania and I wasn't invited? I feel like I should be insulted!”

Lia rose as well, abandoning the bubble wrap as the need to stim left her, and walked over. She smiled small and avoided her face.

“She's got homework. Its, it's all homework now, everything's homework. I haven't been helpful much, but I knew you would probably make it all harder for her, I've been enough of a hindrance for her, I imagined she probably wouldn't do well being overly mentally compromised AND lazy as all get out”

“Oh Lia! I'm wounded! I'm not all bad! Plus-”

There was a sudden shift of the palace again as Fe sat down and started furiously writing her essay, anxiety as her fuel, aided by a giant cup of soda from the gas station.

“A little blood pumping’s good for the brain, ain't it? She just needs a little push! Maybe off of a building eh? Sounds like a ball!”

“Yo, you've been up for less than 5 minutes, stop with that shit, give her a week maybe? So we can properly talk her down?”

“Oh fine, I guess my premium service can wait to activate!”

Her hands moved from her scalp to her arms, scratching without conviction. Isadora softly took her hand off, stopping the scratching and handing her a fidget cube to replace the destructive stim.

“Ohhhh! This is neato mojito Dora!!! Where'd you think this un up? It's pretty! It's my colors too! Ain't that sweeter than molasses! Why I've been so rude, how've you been doing Dora? And you Lia?”

The two smiled. They genuinely liked her, she was nice to be around, while she had her problems, she didn't get mean and angry like Inge and Carli do. She was just… manic. A little odd, maybe crazy, but she wasn’t mean. She didn't yell, and it calmed the two. And they got along well anyways, Lia because she often was a placeholder for her when Fe wasn’t extra out of it and knew how to deal with her quirks, and Dora because divergence fed her like nothing else, made her imagination run wild.

“Whoo! Well ladies, looks like I've got my work cut out for me eh? She invited that boy over last week and that was the first time she saw him in weeks? Oh and her other school friend left her group chat? Yikes, she's a right mess!”

“Yup. she… hasn't been adjusting well to all of this well”

“I’ll say!”

Talisa fidgeted absently with the cube in her hand as she walked around the palace commons, looking around at the scenery. The walls, usually a light lavender were dark violet and the paint was peeling in spots, revealing a gooey black underside. The TV was stuck on a looping image of the most recent Sanders Sides episode. She grinned wide enough to look uncanny, bending her back to crack her spine, almost splitting in half and did a spin as she rose again. She interlocked her fingers and cracked the lot of them and twisted her neck to pop that as well. 

“What are you about to do?”

“Why, what I do best dear Lia!”

She jumped in the air snapping her fingers twice. Her appearance changed, her extraordinarily unruly hair was tied back in a ponytail, tucked through the hole in the back of her baseball cap with the Slytherin logo across the front of it. Her shirt that had been well worn from being worried between her fingers as well as used as pajamas, changed to a tangent hoodie, her shorts with frayed strings switched to a flower patterned pair of leggings, and a skateboard appeared under her feet. She spun around on the board with her wild smile never leaving her face.

“WE’RE ON THE HIGHWAY TO HYPERFOCUS BABES!!! And a little smidge of depression but hey it’ll add to its effectiveness”

It was then that Inge and Carli came running and screamed simultaneously.

“LIA YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO KEEP HER ASLEEP!!!”

“Couldn't you for once just do something that was helpful for Fe?”

Talisa stopped in mid spin, turning slowly to look at Carli and Inge. She was no longer smiling. She was glaring and she stepped off of her board and took slow methodical steps towards the two.

“Now now girls, there's no need to scream!”

She was completely in Inge’s face when she said her next words.

“Isn't that right brainiac?”

Inge nodded instantly, fear filling her instantly. Talisa then turned to Carli and grabbed her by the collar of her dress. She glared hard into her eyes and began to grin as Carli’s eyes filled with panic and she avoided her gaze.

“And just for your information, Lia is more helpful than you could ever hope to be, you coward. For someone whose supposed to be confidence you’d think you might be able to share some of that with our host instead of sitting in your room at 3 in the morning and crying into Ramen over the fact that she still isn't in a relationship”

She released Carli, who fell to the ground and scrambled as far away from her as possible and sobbed quietly in the corner she curled up in. and then a moment later, her entire demeanor changed and she smiled happily.

“Oh hi there gals! I was just starting to get Fe to get working!”

Inge blinked owlishly. Her head tilted, as if the whole interaction before held no merit over what Talisa had just said.

“What? But I thought?”

She walked to the TV screen, changing the screen to be a first person view of Fe working away on her essay. Inge made a noise of confusion as she looked back at Talisa yet again.

“But, but you’re a hindrance! You, you make her life a living hell, how is she still doing her work?”

“You know what I do right? Like, you know what my job is? Come on pinky and the pain, I do ADHD yeah, but I also do anxiety and depression. If she doesn't get this stuff done she’ll fail, doncha think that'd drive her to be anxious enough to get it done? If she doesn't she’ll be depressed as all hell, there's no chance she can do law school if she can't even pass an English course. And the bonus of ADHD is that sticky hyperfocus! She’ll be done with that essay before Thursday, and that test for math?”

The palace shook again as the TV showed her turning in her math test. Talisa grinned.

“I’d say it was a walk in the park, wouldn't you? But you know, on an unrelated note, we should really fix that shaking affect, makes me dizzy”

Inge stared in shock and Carli did the same. Talisa stuffed her hands into her front pocket on her jacket and went over to the beanbag across from the TV and plopped down onto it. She pulled her right hand out and chewed on her thumb as she watched the screen. Her job was done for the moment so she let herself relax as she felt the others do the same. Inge rushed back to her room to help aid Fe with the memories needed for writing her essay, but the others placed themselves somewhere in the common room. Carli sat on her love seat and watched the screen intently. Izzy fell asleep quickly, not being needed for the moment, same for Lia, the both of them curling up with Talisa. She let her left hand leave her pocket to pat Lia's head. The only noise was coming from the soft snoring of the sleeping sides and the TV projecting the real world. Finally, finally, the mind palace was quiet again.

Sailor Moon Crystal episode 8 was pretty neato. Despite being called “Minako - Sailor V” we don’t actually spend that much time on her. The basics are that she’s currently pretending to be Serenity since none of the other Soldiers have awakened their memories yet, she’s able to befriend them all really quickly in spite of that, but also when Kunzite attacks Tokyo, she tries to solo him, which everyone else is all “yo that’s dangerous and a bad thing, trust your friends” which is one of those moments where Crystal’s shorter length and pacing works against it, because it feels a bit early to treat this as a character flaw of hers when she’s been successfully working as Sailor V for so long, and also is barely friends with Usagi and that yet. But oh well. By the way, about that pretending to be Serenity thing, they commit to it, her one move - Crescent Boomerang - doesn’t suggest anything about actually being Sailor Venus, and when she does her transformation sequence, she doesn’t call out “Venus Power Makeup” or anything like that, she’s just silent. She never calls herself and is never referred to as Venus, and with the crescent mark on her forehead and that bead belt thing she carries around, she definitely has a different vibe about her from the rest. Plus she gives us a hint as to Kunzite’s old nature, and like I’m already familiar with them being Endymion’s pals from the Earth Kingdom or whatever but hey, that’s pretty cool. I respect that it’s a bit less glaringly obvious that she’s bullshitting us is the point. I say “a bit” because Usagi and Mamoru have started having their Serenity and Endymion dreams so, it’s close to awakening time for them. Also I suppose in relation to that, Usagi’s tiara changed again, and I’m gonna be honest, it’s complete shit, it looks like two fucking rhino horns just poking out of a gold bit in her head, I really don’t like it and cannot wait for it to be replaced ASAP because this one’s bad. Speaking of things being replaced, I’ve already talked about Minako’s voice being brilliant, that still holds true, but I guess my brain completely failed to process the fact that if Minako’s showing up in Crystal, so too is Artemis, and he’s also got a new voice. It’s uh, interesting, it sounds older and rougher, and doesn’t really suit the tiny white cat it’s coming from, but then, my initial reaction to Artemis’ voice in the 90s anime was literally exactly the same, it was just a matter of me getting used to it. So in that sense, this new voice is also perfect for the character, because at the end of the day cats don’t fucking talk so a talking cat should always sound weird. And just some miscellaneous stuff, the fact that the Sailor Soldiers can definitely fly just becomes clearer and clearer, Mamoru’s researching crystals which I think is cool, give him a more proactive role in the narrative, and also apparently Luna had some of her memories sealed off which explains how she’s able to sort of, do this job and not realise that Usagi’s obviously Serenity and stuff, so I’ll take that, the 90s anime doesn’t really draw attention to anything like that which retroactively makes Luna seem stupid so I’m glad it’s justified here. So like, fine episode, I’m glad Minako’s back but I do think she could’ve had a stronger proper introduction, in so far as like her Sailor V appearance last episode was badass but here the actual character of the human Minako is done a bit weirdly, and the friendship talk feels a bit unearned in so far as Crystal’s not really given us much reason to value the friendships of the group, but like, eh. That’s it, end of post.

She's a k-pop reaction/scenario/text writer, and not only have I missed her as a friend so much during my long hiatus, I've also missed her writing. Thankfully, there's a lot for me to catch up on! She asked me to give my opinions on her BTS AUs, and with her permission, I've turned my reviews it into a bit of advertising! If you wanna read the stuff I did, ya'll don't have to scroll super far to find it all. I'll be reviewing each AU from a Reader's Standing (silly, sometimes improper sentences; sO MUCH swearing; caps lock) and from a Critic's Standing (second reading; at least one paragraph). Taehyung AU (Critic's Standing):

I'll say this here so I don't have to repeat myself, but I don't tend to read Soulmate AUs because I honestly think they're a very basic and beginner's way to write fan fiction. But they're also a great way to practice, so no, I don't hate them, I just don't tend to read them. As you know, I've made an exception for my friend. The first paragraph set the atmosphere very well, and easily stated how Y/N was feeling about not having found their soulmate, yet, and how they're just forced to watch their friends, who already have. The creep insertion, while a common trope, was well executed—I especially approve of how Brea described the wrist grabbing and the little struggle Y/N had.

And then there's Taehyung to the rescue, and for a moment I forgot I was reading a soulmate AU, I was confused about why Y/N tasted chocolate for second. Like the subtle inclusion of Jungkook, Jimin and the other guys, and the dancing section where the taste of chocolate changes according to Taehyung's emotions was really neat. I also loved how Taehyung took Y/N home, and their little kissing moment was the cutest. Not the mention the killer one-liner Y/N delivered, at the end. This was a brief AU, but that's often a good idea, for these kinds of scenarios. If I could improve one thing about this, I would have done... nothing. I seriously can't find anything that I would change, in this. Great job, Brea!

Jungkook AU (Reader's Standing):

Jungkook AU (Critic's Standing):

When the story began at a Big Bang concert, I immediately started to recall every bop they ever made, and it made me so nostalgic and happy. Really nice concert vibe, felt pretty alive, for being described in one paragraph. The first occurrence of the bells stole my heart, I'm a winter fanatic and bells are such an iconic symbol of that season, so I really enjoyed finding out that the little soulmate signal for this AU was bells. Not to mention the little confused looks that Y/N and Jungkook gave to their surroundings before introducing themselves with yelling (because concert, makes total sense) was really nice. I also loved how Jungkook was a YouTuber, that's totally something he could be, if his life went a different direction.

Seungri noticed Jungkook, told the guys about him, and they all gave Jungkook's camera some love was neat, too. They got him onto the stage and Jungkook fulfilled his mega-fan dream of performing with the big boys, that was ultra sweet of them (and Brea, I guess). And the excited Jungkook after he returned to Y/N was so easy to picture, it was great. As I said in the Reader's Standing, is this the same bar Y/N in the Taehyung AU was taken to? It was nice to see Jimin again though, hee hee, and I really liked how Jimin and Jungkook talked about why Jimin wasn't with Taehyung—the struggles of being a famous idol, right?

Jungkook shooing away Jimin was also cute, and how Brea mentioned that Jungkook and Y/N just sat with a couple drinks and talked with a little buzz was nice. Jungkook's explanation of how he and Y/N are soulmates was a nice touch, I really can't get enough of picturing how those bells sound. Small kiss from Y/N to Jungkook was super sweet, and yes, YES, I would love it if those bells evolved into like, an entire little melody, ah. This one was somehow very relaxing to read, I enjoyed it.

Jungkook isn't even my bias wrecker and I want to punch him with a pillow for being so cute in this AU, dammit.

Jimin AU (Reader's Standing):

For some reason the picture of Jimin wouldn't load and I'm immediately a little sad because I don't get to see his pink hair and those amazingly adorable cheeks of his. Not to mention his gorgeous eyes and just AERNUOEWATO Jimin is great. ;w;

Y/N is legit me, but I'm reading hentai manga instead of an 'actual book'. Just kidding, I'd be reading Piers Anthony.

Cool cafe, would definitely go there.

But reading sometimes stresses me out, so... I just stick to Piers and other fantasy others who don't write about female leads, sorry, but I really fucking love men. >w<

How do I write a formal review, again? I loved the book cafe, that was such a natural place for this to happen. Y/N and Jimin meeting week after week, and Jimin inching closer and closer until he literally comes right up to Y/N and all I could think of was a fluffy puppy running, and it killed me. I really liked how Y/N and Jimin established a quiet relationship, that's like, friendship, and friendship is so nice. Then Jimin left and I felt a little empty with Y/N, and I'm just sitting here thinking about how easily you were able to make me relate to Y/N. He came back blond (I refuse to add the 'e' for a male; I'm Canadian, that's just how the French do things, nothing wrong with the more modern/American way >w<) and had to tap Y/N's hand to get their attention, and then there's that adorable hug that just warmed my heart.

Then there was a very well executed explanation of how Jimin knows he and Y/N are soulmates and how he slipped a note into their pocket when they hugged. And I'm completely serious when I say that I would love to just stuff myself into Jimin's suitcase, ha ha ha! The kisses were also a really nice touch, the note was very sweet, and again, Y/N's last say in this scenario as they gave in to temptation and texted Jimin was adorable. Jimin's explanation and the note really did it for me, heh. I enjoyed Jungkook's the most, out of these three, but this was also really relaxing to read.

I still don't even know why the Wii U was apparently a failure because I think it's pretty neato LOL I guess one reason is because the game pad wasn't portable like the Switch's?

I mean the reason it failed financially wasn’t even really design issues or hardware, Nintendo just did a shit job marketing it because they took the Wii’s success for granted and then put no effort into making a solid library of games for it. The hype generated for 3rd party titles died out after the first year because every company bailed and basically left it solely in Nintendo’s hands who by that point had no long term plan whatsoever. It’s like, a perfectly fine machine otherwise, it’s almost all due to stupid ass business practices
