with your recent art posts I'd just like to say that I REALLY love ur fanfic Damage. I read it a bit ago but like its like so super awesome. I really love the robot characters in sonic especially Mecha mk2 and Metal (I found the fic around when the scrapnik short story came out thats what made me obsessed with with mecha). waghghgGHGH THANK YMOU SO MUCH???? this means so much to me <333 and it's funny i've heard the same thing from other people about the story, as in that it's a comfort in a cathartic way? hashtag relatable robots i guess SDFNN. they're my comforts too but in a "they make my heart hurt when i think about them" way. maybe it's being the eldest sibling of 3 irl. maybe its the daddy issues irl. maybe its the fact that i see my childhood self in silver my teenage self in neo and my current self in mecha a little. who knows but they hurt me

it's also funny that people have found it after the whole scrapnik island comic came out because - i had someone come to me like JAUY THE MECHA IN THE NEW COMIC IS SO MUCH LIKE YOURS!!! ITS ALMOST LIKE THEY READ YOUR FIC!!! which is actually so nice because it was like... confirmation that i wasn't being crazy insane with my characterization?? it can be tricky to write a character who doesn't have much characterization in canon in the beginning because there's this worry that people won't like your take on them but turns out its all good :> i just hope people realize i wrote the fic before scrapnik came out because i wouldnt want ppl to assume i copied ASDHNJ IF UR A BUG AND SNAKE AND ULTRAKILLING GUY TOO THEN BIG LOVE TO U.... i am high fiving you x100000 and no ur not weird i love this ask so much, stay swag comrade
