How much it would suck to be a YK500. Like… do these kids go to regular schools with humans?

If they do, they don't age, so if you make any friends, they go up to different grades and your still stuck in what…. 3rd grade. Repeating the same stuff each year. Forever???? I can't imagine

Are there special schools? With androids for teachers and students?I mean in the Detroit universe they segregate busses and stairs and things so… maybe? But that's such a weird idea

If YK’s don't go to school. Then they’re stuck at home all day. And if the parents work all day the kids home alone. That'd be so boring, Kids need to socialize and stuff

In that case do you get a nanny? Do you get another android to take care of your android kid? That seems like such a waste of money! Or not… since Todd seemed just fine

i am once again thinking about the insane tf kink fic i read where all the transformers are scandalized into a nunnery by the concept of self service gas stations. “y’all just do that in public? out in the air? like, in front of other people? y’all just whip it out like that while making small talk? a CREDIT CARD? Mfs around the net really got me thinking about Kara's story "dark" theme about android Alice again. I got the impression the topic is avoided for some reason, similar to how mfs think everybody gotta be angels and shit.

I think it's cuz can be confusing the way it's in the game, at least at first glance. Not to mention the hatred people have for this plotline itself.

I’m giving you crossover for the only reason of ! I wanted sunny (mgs4) and Alice (dbh) to being best friend so I decided to draw this ||also I have so many art project for each of these fandoms separately but have no energy left to do them as I am working on my last artschool year project, it sucks all my creative energy but it will be worth it || so yeah I will now add both of the hashtag to both of the fandom (don’t know if I’ll do more).

Decided to draw this after seeing the amazing comic made by @detroitbecomeonline ♥ When I designed Leo's android double in Make It Yours, I had just played through the Zlatko chapter and got tons of new headcanons. I decided that black chassis would be for transhumanist androids. So there! Of course I added baby Markus because aw baby Markus! As for the dialogue, it's all vibe! Nothing ominous… Now, talking about that fic it was high time to add a new chapter, so here we go! Cozy one, feat. Neal, the nerdy Kamski twin.

“I’ll tell you all about it later if you really want, but for now,” Leo said and reached up to wrap his arms around Neal’s neck, “I came here to proposition you…” Neal met his gaze. His eyes were a dark grey in the dim light. “Proposition me?” he repeated, and while he kept his neutral mask up, Leo could sense the beat of hope in his voice, in his chest. Leo smiled. “Let’s have sex,” he put it plainly. “I want to feel again what it’s like to lay with someone who makes me feel hot in all the right ways, someone I respect… Someone who can make me feel like I respect myself too.” Neal’s Adam’s apple moved up and down. “So… Lycra underwear?” he asked, straightening up, and Leo stood upon the tip of his toes to reach his lips. “I think you made it kinda clear that I shouldn’t affront you with unpleasant materials, nerdy boy…” Leo purred and kissed him.

are there any kids at the android day care that youve taken a liking to or stand out in your mind?

Yes. A YK500. Now, I won't reveal the names of any of the android children. This girl is the most extroverted kid in the day care. Like many android children, she's faced abuse, broken by the force of her own program changing her to please her owners, but in the day care, when everyone is playing, reading, talking, she's always focused and curious about fashion styles and looks. Complimenting everyone about their clothes. Asking what kind of hairstyle she should use. What hair color to use. If she should project freckles on her face. What eye color. Always comes up to me asking me what the "newest trend is lately". She's always up to date on what's new and what's old, she just likes to test me, because I always wear nice suits and dress shoes.

All of the children are very respectful, and very sweet, but they're all shy in their own ways. Elizabeth is not. I feel that her energy is a way to cope with her past, and it's clear that her simple confidence inspires the other kids. Even me and my co-workers - I mean, we're all just deviants after all. That's something that she reminds us (the adults) sometimes. Aware of the sensitivity we have in common with the children.

She also has this suspicion that I can sing, and so sometimes when I am making sure all of the children are tucked into their beds, she 'double dog dares me', in this overly endearingly, tiny, sleepy voice, to sing them all, or just her, a lullaby. It's relieving when she asks quietly because I don't know what I'd do if her persistence was loud enough for the other kids to hear and provoke them to beg me to do the same thing. In fact, singing a lullaby or reading them a bedtime story had never been brought up by anyone but Elizabeth. I'm not sure if any of them would like a lullaby, but perhaps a bedtime story.

Mostly I’m also in the ’the story would’ve been better if Alice was human’ camp, but also it really bothers me how some people express that opinion.

If Kara had known that Alice was an android earlier, she could’ve helped Alice in better ways earlier (turnung off her tempersture sensors so she won’t feel cold, not bothering to do risky stuff like try to steal food that Alice doesn’t need)

But Alice being an androis doesn’t make Karas story meaningless, Alice deserved to be rescued and helped and loved regardless of if she is an android or a human

I feel so bad for that other YK500 that we see in Jericho when Kara realizes Alice is an android. Like just imagining it from her perspective?

She makes it to this refuge and immediately some AX400 just starts staring at her with a horrified expression like she just killed someone.

Then Luther starts giving his speech and the whole time she’s probably just thinking What. Are they going on about. I’m literally just sitting here smh.

Kara and Alice have their lil hug moment afterwards and she’s like okay???? Glad I could help?? Who are you???
