Soooooo...2020, huh?

This is it. It’s December. Only one more month until the year can climb right back into the dumpster fire whence it came. But before the sun sets on this shambolic year, there’s still one thing left to do. 

*clears throat*

In 2013, when we first introduced Tumblr’s Year in Review, there was no way to know we’d one day be reviewing a year that in no way, shape, or form deserves a formal assessment. Unless 2020 gave you the gift of prescience, you probably didn’t expect such a complete disaster of a year, either. Nevertheless, here we are! 

We all know what didn’t happen this year (life), but what did happen in 2020? We tried (and failed) to make sourdough bread, we loved then quickly got bored of a game we’ve waited eight years to play, we filled our time with fiction while the real world crumbled around us, and we collectively made binge watching a way of life. If nothing else, 2020 gave us time to explore new hobbies and rekindle forgotten ones. 

Just as the reality of quarantine began to set in, the world erupted in protest, responding to the killing of George Floyd and systemic issues of racial injustice.  Our community took to the streets in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and inspired voters across the United States to fight to have their voices heard. And we did it all while navigating the worst pandemic in over a century. No big deal, right?

This year’s YIR posts account for a full 365 days, from October 21, 2019 to October 20, 2020. We know the world imploded right after that window closed, and we’ll talk about that too, but that won’t be reflected in these lists (sorry, Castiel). Sit back, relax and let's look back at what happened in 2020.

Red String of Fates, demo Update 7/24/21!

This week I updated the game, adding an option to play from chapter 1, fixing some grammar errors visible, adjust ch1 choices.

Now, I’m working on the continuation of the game.

Also I just remember I never address the character and the game feature, so here it is :)

Red String of Fates (RSoF), demo of the new upcoming interactive fiction game.

Genre: (Fantasy, Romance, Adventure)

SUMMARY :

Play as an orphan. Live in a world where humans keep blind eyes just like the other creatures didn’t exist. Keep your promise to your childhood friends. Get your own power which determines your tier in society.

Is the world just like the one you knew so far? Or is everything just a lie?

However, when the world demands you to choose, which side will you choose?

FEATURE :

Play as a Male or Female. Customize your MC

Choose a side, Being a royal or a rebel.

Build relationships with unique casts of characters

Warning, The scene may contain blood or any other trigger.

Let’s meet the Characters so far:

Oswald [M, Human]: A Sage who runs away with a baby. He had a chain tattoo on his right hand and a bracelet with an alignment of colorful stones rune stone on his left wrist.

Allen / Ellene [M/F, Human]: MC step-brother / step-sister. The relationship with MC is close as ever like a real family. Have a big ambition to become Royal Guardian.

Helena [F, Human]: MC stepmother. A baron wife, have a bakery as a business even before getting the title. She insists on working there even when she gets the title.

The Royal Guardian of Yir Laccramatea! Ivorry [F, Human]: A Royal Guardian. She wears a Royal Guardian uniform with a roman numeral II pin on her collar.

Caerulus [M, Human?]: A Royal Guardian. He held a spear as a weapon.

i find the fact that my sense of time is fucked funny because while yeah, sure I understand multiple versions or theories on how time travel works, I think that knowing what a millennia or century is too much work, or generally how long that single event or thing appeared or happened. I mean it’s not really worrying since I measure  by deadlines in games. 

And no I am not looking at the clock in my room cause It’s not supposed to be there anyway.

at some point c!tommy and c!tubbo are going to argue and tubbo pulls out his shotgun nuke thinking it was unloaded and triggers it and the nuke zooms past tommy and hits ranboo, and he dies.
