essentially jasper is now the co-leader of the society who was bitten by a werewolf and is trying to hide it, jekyll is the uni student who got kicked out due to his experiments and then picked up off the streets, etc. jasper and rachel can’t communicate and jekyll and lanyon are living the world’s weirdest horror romcom you’ve ever seen. more info under cut hehe (feat. bad explanations and doodles)

in simpler terms, jekyll and lanyon swap narrative positions (?? is that the right term) with jasper and rachel respectively. (lanyons and rachels swap doesn’t technically work as well as Jekyll’s and jaspers does but shhhhh). Frankenstein becomes the mad scientist that attacks the society and moreau becomes jaspers idol.

longer explanation but WARNING!! it is 3am when i am typing this and i am terrible at explaining. it may be slightly incomprehensible.

so like jasper and rachel founded the society after jasper publishes his research and gets semi famous. two years before current events jasper is out on a research venture and gets bitten by a werewolf. he doesn’t want to scare rachel or the lodgers so he keeps it a secret (to his own detriment). flash forward to now and jasper gets a call to investigate a “creature” terrorizing the streets of london only to find hyde.

before jasper can process the dumpster man he is looking at hyde transforms back into jekyll. jekyll explains that while trying to prove his theory of spiritual alchemy at his university he may or may not have split his own soul. and got kicked out. and is now living on the streets.

jasper, not really knowing what else to do and kinda relating to the poor guy, takes him back to the society. he introduces his co-leader rachel, who pretty much keeps this entire thing up and running. (rachel and jekyll still become friends but she especially takes to hyde. that little brother shaped hole in her heart is still very much present!) then theres the lodgers (idk how they all swap) and then there’s lanyon, a university student at the society because it was mandatory for one of his courses. he is not enjoying it and would very much rather be breaking boy’s hearts back at school. lucky for him tho, there’s jekyll!

this goes about as well as you would expect. lanyon then spends the rest of his stay at the society trying to understand (and woo) the conundrum that is jekyll and hyde. it’s very fluffy and they learn to communicate like jasper and rachel in canon (yippee!)

unfortunately for jasper and rachel, they have been playing the “just friends” game for the last decade. im having a bit of trouble trying to flesh out swap rachel so i don’t really know if she’s in a lavender marriage like canon lanyon is or is estranged/divorced or just single but whatever the case is she likes jasper but thinks he just sees her as a friend while jasper is madly in love with her and is too scared to tell her. this problem has only worsened since jasper got bitten. everyone else tho is aware of how they feel about each other and are stuck witnessing their tortuously long slow burn.

(hyde and lanyon at some point probably come up with a scheme to try and get them to confess. it goes horribly wrong.)

so yeah. this au has been floating around in my head ever since i read the comic for the first time. it mainly came to be because of how well jasper and jekyll parallel each other and because i wanted to draw stupid fluff and older jasper lol.

if anyone has any ideas/questions/etc TELL ME!!!!! this is just a rough idea if you have a better concept go for it awhdvgevd

3. With the glyphs is there only one way to use them or could you possible make them a tattoo and still you them. Since they are then constantly touching the glyphs they could possible do the magic of a mage. If they had multiple glyphs he could mix the glyphs somehow.(like how Luz mixes the glyphs by drawing them with eachother but instead they do it with their ✨️MIND✨️)

4. Also I love the idea of papapulse. Like I imagine Pearl or grian (most likely grian:^P) and Impulse going full demon mode tl protect them. (I saw that you tagged "Parent impulseSV (Video Blogging RPF)" in troubke in the dead of night🥺👏😍) Also is there different types of demons and what type of powers do they have?

5. In the fic "sitting in the garden at your feet" they have a whole picnic and all the adorableness. Do they go on more picnics frequently? (I really hope soo) I would guess they do since in villainous things they were also on their way to a picnic...but then yeah...poor birb tbh and poor scar

Is it possible that etho is a Watcher? I'm mean   he is definitely not human(or maybe he is an immortal human?)  Etho may recognize grian, either as an old Watcher or a new Watcher to be made. Or maybe etho just thinks it is weird to see scar with grian(A HUMAN) The last one is more logical <:^)

8. On that note with Etho. You never confirm nor deny if grian is the "lost watcher" but what if I were to ask you if EFFO is the lost Watcher. I don't have proof but-...yeah idk

YIPPEE HELLO FIRST ASK 1)🔷Corruption is something that takes the form of an illness. It’s almost like werewolfism, causing Shapes to mutate & grow into more beastly versions of themselves. Often they take on invertebrate features, exoskeletons & stingers & such, along with fur. It takes a long time for them to reach their full beast forms, several years, through a series of molts. 🔷It typically takes just as many years for a Shape's mind to be corrupted. Cube and Beetle were the only two to have it get to their heads during the events of the game, because they both had corrupted pieces of the Tree. 🔷Once purified, Shapes remain at whatever molting stage they advanced to. Very few Shapes had long-lasting changes since the Heroes dealt with the corruption so quickly (less than a month). 🔷Cube’s transformation process was expedited because Beetle gave her a piece of the Tree to heal her from an injury. Her third molt was only after a week. She got an exoskeleton, fur, tail, and a more forwards-leaning posture in her back & legs (to compensate for the tail). This much change should have taken closer to 6 months. It was very painful for her. 🔷Shapes theorized the Corruption was a curse, some very old and unstable magic not meant to be found again. That’s not entirely accurate.

2)🏵️Natural shapes are akin to mammals. They are warm blooded, have a lifespan of about a human, reproduce as mammals do, can get sick & disabled. 🏵️The player shapes, the Heroes, are not. They are “artificial” life forms born from the Tree of Life, more akin to a living crystal. (That’s why they shatter, vs other shapes like Cube, bleed.) The Heroes have a longer lifespan, were supposed to have a stronger connection to magic (it ended up being mostly Cyan though), and cannot fall ill to viruses/bacteria/etc.

3) Cube :3 She will be getting her own introduction post soon, but some opening information: She is the adoptive parent of Cyan, later becomes the adoptive parent of the other Heroes, is transfem, and is disabled with chronic pain among other things.

Have I talked about Skyrim au? Probably. I know I've at least mentioned it. Anywho. I'd say I'll be brief but I'm laughing at myself. Me? Brief? No way

Remus — Remus is a part of the Dark Brotherhood. They are ! assassins ! He specializes in contracts that are meant to send a message to the general public and he's kind of weird. A bit like Cicero but even Cicero says there's something off about him. He fits in extremely well though and it satiates his blood lust enough for him to actually chill the hell out the rest of the time.

Roman — Roman is a part of the Companions! They are a warriors guild and he has proven himself to be one of the best among them. A true shield-brother! He's also a werewolf in the inner circle (a fact of which Remus is extremely jealous) and he always plays the hero for whatever they have to do.. which is good because its the schtick. Clearing bounties, picking bandits off the roads, whatever. He's up for it.

Logan — Logan is a professor at the College Of Winterhold! I'm going to pretend there is more storyline to the College and actual classes because I love mage Logan and he deserves love!! He actually kind of hates that it's freezing there but he wants to learn more magic so he does. I love him and he is babey. I'm on a Logan kick rn.

Patton — Patton attends the Bards College in Solitude. He learns to play instruments and he travels. Why? Honestly, I just really like the idea of someone thinking he's a stupid bard but he has gossip from across Skyrim and will break his lute on someone's head if he needs to. I don't want to push Innocent Useless Patton; he's a deadly bitch. And bards aren't usually deadly in Skyrim so I'm changing things for him <3

Virgil — Virgil is a vampire in Clan Volkihar but he's often on the roads instead. He's not a big fan of the leader of the clan (Harkon when I catch you Harkon) and was actually friends with his daughter Serana before she went missing (to his knowledge). He was originally a member of the Dawnguard (vampire hunters) but he contracted vampirism and couldn't cure it in time. He treats it as a "you ever have one of those days where this might as well happen?" thing.

Janus — Janus is a thief in the Thieves Guild in Riften. I have been waiting for this. He is one of the best thieves they've got and he's cocky about it. He's basically Vex, except that he's actually better at pickpocketing and sneaking into places. He's also a fence, which means anything stolen that he's given he'll turn around and sell for a profit. He's immensely cocky but it's for a good reason.

Thomas — Dragonborn. Just some dude who turned out to be Dragonborn and is now travelling and oh god, why does he have to meet such interesting people?

Anyway they all know each other. Virgil and Janus are exes, Patton and Logan grew up together, the twins see each other like once in a blue moon but Remus occasionally tries to kill Roman for the fun of it (it's practice!), and I love them all dearly. I'm actually replaying Skyrim so !! Yippee !! I have something to base all this on :D

I realize I never posted about my Werewolf Gobo AU

anyway here’s an infodump about it

Gobo is a werewolf! Yippee. He doesn’t know his transformations coincide with the cycle of the moon because he lives underground, but he does know it happens fairly regularly. Wembley and Mokey know about this, but Red and Boober don’t. Because Gobo is too scared to tell them.

In wolf form he’s about his regular size, maybe a bit bigger, but he’s still smaller than Mokey, who just carries him around with her arms wrapped around his middle, like how a little kid carries a cat. Obviously in his wolf form he bites, but is also generally tame and friendly. He DOES keep making breaks for it to try and reach Outer Space, but Mokey almost always catches him before he can get too far.

Uncle Matt also knows about Gobos,,, condition, so during his travels he keeps an ear out for anything that sounds similar to Gobo’s transformations.

Author’s note: this can be a bit disturbing to some viewers and this has unfortunately been going on in my dreams for a couple of months. There will be a ton of blood, depression, abuse, pain, and other disorders throughout the series.

“Help!”, I cried. The flames where everywhere, reaching towards the sky! I was trapped in the preschool with no way out. Everything was being eaten by the Demon Hound! Then, there was a voice...

”I am here to bring justice!” It was All Might! I was overjoyed to see him and that signature smile!

”OVER HERE!” I called. He rushed over to me, but before he could reach me, the Demon Hound attacked him!!! The fear that was inside of me arose! The Demon Hound wasn’t exactly one that left survivors.

”ALL MIGHT!”, I cried. All Might was about to fight back when...

”Okay you two, come inside! Lunch is ready!”, my mother called to us. I was snapped out of my fantasy world and back to the real world with the cardboard buildings with paper flames on them, the regular black lab puppy, and in the middle of my backyard.  I had ya worried there for a second, didn’t I?

“Yippee! Lunch!”, my best friend, Deku, exclaimed as we rushed inside to eat our lunch.

~.~ le time skip to 11:00 pm that same day ~.~

My family and I were walking through the forbidden part of the forest. We were going to do our usual training. My mother is 1/2 human,  1/4 mermaid, and 1/4 goddess. My father is 1/4 demon, 1/4 vampire, 1/4 werewolf, and 1/4 werecat. My baby sister was there too, we couldn’t leave her at home alone now could we?

I actually have two quirks myself, Performance and blood wolf. Meaning I can sing and cause anything that had to do with nature to do what I’d like and some music for the song will pop up out of nowhere, if I dance it adds more power into my attacks, and I can swallow the music of other’s to gain more energy!  I could even control people’s emotions if I wanted to! And the effect would work until an hour after I stopped singing! If I cut myself and call out “aura” a blood wold will appear and be able to use my singing quirk to assist me in a duet. And, thanks to my dad, I am stronger than most humans already, I can eat souls, I have fangs, I can be basically a mosquito, and use all the hidden powers of a vampire’s fangs! On the bright side, anything holy or vampire resistant doesn’t work on me. But, I also can control and create Ice, Water, Fire, Earth, and Air thanks to the goddess part of me. I can also turn into a friggin’ mermaid!

There was a sudden rustle in the bushes. I snuggled up close to my dad’s leg. Both my parents got in battle position. Out from the bushes, came my grandpa. My mom handed me (sister’s name).

”(y/n), RUN! HIDE!”, my mother cried! I hid in the bushes and watched as my parents were torn limb from limb by my grandfather! Tears streamed down from my right eye as blood came from the other. Their blood splashed on my face as I screamed in terror! That was a big mistake because my grandpa started to come at me with silverware in his hands. I hugged my sister tightly and ran as fast as I could.

I didn’t even think, I just ran. Ran throughout the forest so that we could have a chance of living. I ran like I have never ran before! But, near a cliff, I tripped on a tree root.

”OOF!” Heiwa rolled right in front of a pair of leather shoes. The raven haired demon adjusted his glasses before picking her up. I watched with a look of terror on my face. He raised a butter knife and aimed at her lung. I felt an anger build inside me! I didn’t know what to do, I just did it! I used my speed to run up to them and snatch her!

Quick author’s note: ya see, if you stab someone in the heart they can still scream, but if you stab them in the lung, they won't be able to make a sound. Don’t ask how I know this, I just know. Also, kids, do not try this at home! This would be counted as murder, which as we all know is against the law, and I don’t wanna Be responsible for someone stabbing their siblings in the lung. Continue.

Kowareta: I’m trying to tell a story here woman!

”You brat!”, he said in a British accent. I ran away from him... which lead me to the cliff I was talking about earlier.

“Now, now, Kowareta. Hybrids shouldn’t exist. They have to deal with urges that cancel out each other and they are very dangerous”, I backed away until my heels were at the edge of he cliff. I looked behind me. There was a fast flowing river that has huge rocks in it. It also lead to who knows where!

I looked back at my grandpa with the bloody knife in his hand, then back to the river, then back again. I didn’t have very many options here. I would probably have a chance of living if I jumped...

“I’M GONNA CHANCE IT!” I yelled as I jumped of the 100 ft cliff and plunged into the water! The water was as cold as ice and I wasn’t a very good swimmer. I tried to paddle anyways but the currents kept on pulling me underwater! I watched as he stared in my direction, scoffed, and walked away. I smirked a little. I’m a survivor!

I was doing... okay when the currents got stronger and knocked me against a rock! Then everything went black...

6:30 am your phone blared from the bedside table. 2 missed calls and 3 texts later you pulled yourself from your bed. Dialling the number back you blinked slowly allowing your eyes to adjust to the room.

“Y/N?” Matt’s voice sounded through the speaker.

“Hey Matt, what’s up?”

“There’s been another two bodies found, just outside of town.”

“I’m on my way I'll be 15 minutes.” You replied as you stood heading towards the bathroom.

“See you soon.”

“Matty, stay safe.”

Showering, dressing and making yourself look human took nearly 15 minutes in itself. 5 minutes later you were at the same crime scene, pulling in behind the police cars you hopped out of your new Range Rover.

“Matt?” You bellowed over the two police officers refusing you entry to the scene.

“She’s okay, she’s with me.” Matt waved you through the plastic tape cordon.

Joining Matt you stood over the first body. “She’s so young.”

“She was a student.”

“Where’s the second?” You asked glancing back to watch as the first victim was covered.

Matt lead you to the second victim, more grisly than the first, a male around 20, according to Matt.

“I promise you it wasn't me or my brother, you know we wouldn't do this.” You begged as you looked at Matt.

“I know it wasn't you, I’m going to set up a curfew for the town.”

“If you need any more help call me.”

By the time you’d returned to the car, it was 8 am, you decided to head to the Grill. Walking into the Grill you headed to the bar, two men sat at the bar both nursing a cup of coffee in their hands. You flashed a smile to the two well-dressed men as you ordered a coffee. Settling into a corner booth you opened your laptop and started to work on the finances you’d been putting back for weeks.

“Miss Salvatore?” A waiter you recognised but didn't know his name appeared. “Your coffee,” he placed the cup beside you.

“Thank you.”

“Can I get you anything else, Miss?”

“Keep the coffees coming I feel as though today is going to be a long one.”

“Of course Miss.”

“Oh wait, who are the two men at the bar?”

“They’re FBI agents, looking into the deaths in the woods.”

“Thank you.” You glanced down ashamed you didn't know your own employee's name. “What’s your name?”

“James.”

“Okay James, keep my question between us if you hear anything else tell me.”

“Of course Miss Salvatore.”

“So what are we thinking? A Vampire? Werewolf? Something else?”

“I don’t know Sammy.”

You listened as you typed on your laptop.

“We’ll have to see the two newest vics then we’ll know.”

Your attention was now firmly on the men sat at the bar as you drank your coffee. You decided to find out more and made your way back to the bar, gulping down the last of your coffee.

“James, can I have another coffee please?”

“Of course Miss Salvatore.”

“Would you two gentlemen like anything?” You questioned as James froze waiting for your response.

“I’d love another coffee.” The man with short blonde hair spoke with a smile.

“Me too, but we're paying for them.” The man with longer brown hair insisted.

“It’s okay, I own this place.” You smiled at them, half wondering if you should compel them or leave them be.

“Oh really?” The blonde man asked as he smiled up at you from the bar seat.

“Yes, technically most of the places around here are owned by me, well my family.”

“Impressive.”

“Here’s your coffee Miss Salvatore, may I get you anything else?” He asked placing the coffees before the two men.

“Not for me James thank you.”

“I’m Y/N Salvatore.” You introduced as you held a hand out to each man.

“Sam.” The long haired man introduced as he shook your hand.

“Dean.” The blonde man introduced himself.

Both men joined you in the booth you’d previously occupied. 40 minutes of chat later you’d got as much out of the two without compelling them. As you opened your mouth to speak, Damon flung himself through the doors of the Grill.

“Booze now.” He growled at James. Sam and Dean both glanced backwards at the noise behind them. You watched them tense and reach for what you could only assume were guns.

“Excuse me a second.” You stood leaving the booth.

“Damon, what the hell? It’s not even 9:30 where have you been all night?” You hissed.

“I need a drink.” He settled himself on a stool.

“Have you heard of the deaths last night?” You whispered into your brother's ear.

“It wasn't me.” Damon’s voice full of honesty.

“I know, it wasn't me either.” You spoke as you watched Damon’s glass get filled.

“What’s this?” Dean asked from behind you.

“Family business.” Damon snapped at the stranger before him.

“Sorry.”

“Damon,” you warned, “This is Dean, he’s an FBI agent investigating the deaths around here.”

“Well yippee for him.” Damon rolled his eyes at you as Dean left you and Damon alone.  

“Ignore him,” you apologised to Dean. Turning to Damon your eyes full of anger. “Buy the bottle, go home, stay home.” You growled at your older brother. “I will not have you drinking in public before breakfast.”

Damon’s eyes flickered a shade of black as he stood, towering over you. The bottle of whisky found its way onto the counter as you shoved it towards Damon. “Leave” Your eyes flickered the same shade of black as you warned him, you watched Damon leave the Grill, bottle in hand. Turning to face the bar you realised James had watched as both yours and Damons faces changed.

“James?” He turned to face you. “Forget what you just saw with Damon and me. We talked he took the booze and left.” You compelled him to forget and placed new memories in his mind.

“I’m sorry but I'm going to have to run, my brother, as you've just seen, is out of sorts.”

2 hours later you were home after running many errands. You’d arrived home to find Stefan stretched out on the sofa.

“Hi” You smiled at him dumping a few bags on the floor.

“Hey.”

“Is Damon still not home?” You asked looking around.

“No, he’s been out all night.”

“God,” You sighed as you began to worry about him. “You’ve heard of the killings?” As the words left your lips you felt the coolness of a blade against your throat. Your eyes found Stefan, seeing the FBI agent Sam stood behind him a blade held to his throat. “Sam, Dean. Listen to me.” You pleaded, the blade dug into your neck enough to draw blood. You gave Stefan a look you’d given to your brothers countless times before ‘don’t attack’.

“What do you think we’ve done?” Stefan asked.

“You’ve slaughtered countless people and left them in ditches.” Dean spat into your ear as he pushed the blade further into your neck.

“Dean.” Your tone remained calm yet assertive. “You know what we are?”

“Yes.” He replied bluntly

“Then you’ll know your blades are worthless?” You asked your tone never changing.

“Our bullets will hurt though.” Dean snarled into your ear as he fired a round of wooden bullets into Stefan’s chest from behind you.

“NO! STOP!” You screamed. “We didn't kill them.” Your brain was in overdrive as you realised how close the bullets were to Stefan’s heart. “Let me go now.” You snarled as your eyes darkened rage filling you. Dean’s grip on you loosened enough for you to escape and try and reach Stefan.  “Listen to me.” You begged them as Sam cocked his gun aimed at your heart. “I know you know we’re vampires, yet only hunters know what we are, so are you FBI or hunters?”

“Hunters you blood sucking bitch.” Dean snapped at you.

“I promise you I won't hurt you, neither will Stefan, If I wanted you dead, I'd have killed you the second I saw you at the Grill.” You spoke as you moved towards Stefan. “Let me get the bullets out, I promise we won't hurt you, but if Damon comes home and finds out you shot Stefan you’re going to have to trust me.”

Sam gave you a nod as you knelt beside your brother. You began the process of removing the many bullets in his chest. Both Sam and Dean had their wooden bullet filled guns raised throughout the bullet removal. Stefan vowed to kill them, yet some persuading later he sat near them in the living room.

“All 4 of us are here to figure out who’s killing these people?” You asked openly.

“Yes, however, we think it's you,” Dean replied bluntly as Sam hit his leg.

“Dean how are you not getting if we did this you’d be Dead too.” You asked as you walked past him mug in hand. “Plus we have our own blood source.” You raised your mug in the air as if to cheers no one.  

“Well it’s not you, you don't want to hurt us and you’re not drinking directly from humans who is it that’s killing everyone.”

“It's another vamp, a very sloppy one, possibly new to the life, Matt, the sheriff knows about us, he knows it wasn't us.” You explained as you handed Sam and Dean a bottle of unopened beer each. “Some people get weirded out if you give them open beer.” You shrugged handing Dean a bottle opener.

“How old are you?” Sam asked, “If that isn't rude.” “Well I’m 169, Stefan is 171 and our big brother Damon is 178.”

“Oh wow,” Sam opened both his and Dean’s beers.

“I need you to tell me if you don’t believe us about the killings, we have a blood fridge downstairs, we don't hurt people, myself and Stefan strive to make things better in this town.”

“We believe you,” Sam admitted.

“Really?”

“This is going to sound so weird but you’re the most genuine vampires I've ever met.”

“Thank you.” You fake bowed as you finished the rest of your ‘lunch’ from the mug. “You two are welcome to stay here if you’d like.” You offered as you poured a few glasses of whisky each.

“Erm no. I think we’ll drive.” Dean spoke as he downed the glass of whisky.

“Okay, where are you staying I can drop you back.”

“Nowhere,” Sam replied a little too quickly for Dean’s liking.

It had been 30 minutes since Dean had left to collect his car, you heard the low rumble of an engine pulling up the drive.

“Put her in the garage, she’s too nice to be out in the rain.” Damon encouraged Dean as he parked up his 1969 Chevy Camaro convertible on the drive.

“Damon!” Your voice boomed through the halls of the boarding house, out of the corner of your eye you saw Sam jump a little.

“What?” He asked as he sauntered in, hands in his pockets.

“Where the hell have you been?” You questioned your anger showing. “Where were you last night?”

“Last night I was with Enzo, today I was driving,” Damon responded as he pulled out the bottle of whisky from the Grill and drank from it.

“Use a glass.”

“What’s wrong with you?” Damon asked as he took in Sam sat on the sofa.

It took all your restraint not to snap his neck before you, anger coursed through your veins, you could feel yourself losing it.

“I’m fine.” You lied through a breath. You walked away from Damon as you continued to fight the urge to kill him. You almost flew down the stairs in search of a blood bag to calm yourself. In a huff, you emptied the blood bag in seconds feeling the urge to drink another just to be safe, especially if Sam and Dean were staying the night. You began to feel your anger subside as you sat slumped against a wall. Your anger never usually took hold of you this way, yet today had been a particularly hard day. When your breathing normalised you made your way upstairs in search of a drink. More than a few drinks later you were showing Sam and Dean around.

“Okay, so this is one of our guest rooms, the bathroom is through there.” You pointed as you were midway through the house tour.”I think we’ll both stay in this one if it’s okay.”

“Oh, yeah that’s okay. My room is opposite yours and down the hall is Damons and Stefan’s.”  You informed them as you gestured down the hallway.

“Good night.” Dean smiled as he disappeared into the guest room.

“Thank you for letting us stay,” Sam added as he followed Dean.

“Goodnight.”

After making your way across to your bedroom you sat in bed listening to what Sam and Dean were saying.

“Do you think we can trust them?” Dean asked.

“I do,” Sam responded.

“Really?”

“Yes. Like Y/N said if she wanted us dead we’d have been dead hours ago.”

“I suppose, I’m still sleeping with a gun or two under my pillow,” Dean said as a smile played on your lips.

Settling down into your bed you continued to listen to their words before they were replaced by soft snores.
