Why Zuko didn’t tell the Gaang about his scar

There’s been wide speculation for years about why Zuko didn’t tell the Gaang about how he got his scar in the series. The consensus is that they didn’t have time, which is strange because the answer is rather obvious.

If Katara found out, she’d go out of her way to kill Ozai herself, and her next field trip with Zuko would be to the Fire Nation castle on a full moon to crush Ozai’s heart in his chest with her bloodbending.

But that would completely negate the need for Aang to restore balance and learn energy bending in the finale to avoid killing Ozai.

I see a lot of posts talking about how some therians or alterhumans feel like humanity robbed them of their true nature and true life, but I really feel like the opposite! I feel like I’ve been robbed of my humanity. It’s not that I want the therianthropy to go away, but it feels like another thing that’s been put upon me, and among other reasons for it a longing for the person I could’ve been. I think that’s a hard thing to grapple with as an alterhuman from trauma.

Just wanted to put a different perspective out there.

told a manager today, "i don't like the way you're speaking to me," in front of god and everyone to see. she got pulled into the office by another manager for "coaching." she came out to apologize to me. i told her that everyone comes to vent to me and one of the things i hear often is the way she speaks to employees in front of customers. i told her, "it won't happen again."
