These are just the types of styles I was thinking for the reader with each character. I just found this to be a fun thing to do - if it takes away from your reading experience then you do not have to apply it.

I would like to be clear that I don’t write in depth descriptors for the reader, so the models in these photos are not representative of the reader. Just the clothes/style applies (if you want them to).

Enomoto Takeshi

I feel like reader would gravitate towards simple outfits that could be dressed up or down for office work. That's probably what stuck out most about them when Enomoto first met reader, is that they looked like a teenager and a mom. Reader definitely gravitates towards comfy "mom fits" mostly because they inherited all of their mom's clothes and they fit well.

Kusumi Yuto

Idk why but I feel like reader would have a more androgynous style that leans more masculine in some aspects, and I think Kusumi would really dig that. Like he's known reader since childhood and watched their style develop with their personality over time, so I feel like that style and him liking it would fit pretty well.

Kaji Ren

I see reader having a whimsical cottagecore/fairycore vibe just cause they flit in and out of Kaji's life for the first few months giving him suckers here and there. And then once they start dating reader is all sunshiny and bouncing by his grumpy side. The vibe just very much fits in my mind's eye as a contrast to Kaji's vibe - kind of like a yinyang thing I guess?

Hiragi Toma

I see reader's style leaning more towards a comfortable "clean girl" vibe with a lot of baggier over shirts. I just feel like Hiragi isn't one to care too much about style / looks, and I think reader would be similar in this vein. But at the same time I feel like reader can dress themselves up and do a full beat of makeup for an event (which I also think Hiragi would be a shocked and blushing mess every time he sees them like this too).

Between TK encouraging her on indefinite island and Lifering encouraging her in this most recent episode, I’m convinced The Sinkers would have treated a Cabby way better than The Pinkers did,💔

Test Tube is still my second favourite and always will be. I also think she can hold quite the grudge and gets really stubborn when she thinks someone is in the wrong, whether or not they actually are and this episode kind of reinforces that thought for me. It’s actually something I love about her character as frustrating as it can be sometimes, and I’m glad it hasn’t changed in the new season. I think it’s her best and worst quality,

Unsure how to feel about Blueberry rejoining. I was hoping for Tea Kettle to rejoin (would have accepted Life ring too even though I think he’s annoying) but Blueberry’s whole steeze retroactively being part of a master plan to win the competition with as little effort as possible feels weird. Maybe the feeling will wear off for me in episode 16. I think part of it is who I wanted instead of him, and the fact that we haven’t heard much from him in a while,

Weird how quickly YinYang made up I feel like but on the other hand it would be kind of wild if it had to be a whole big thing for them to make up when the little tiff they were having wasn’t even that serious so I guess it’s fine,

Cabby, YinYang and The Floor are still the main 4 bright lights of my heart though. (As in, I like the closeness they’ve kind of been developing since episode 11 and would have them inseparable if it was up to me 😅) Also I like the little smile here when she looks down (either into the middle distance or at the milk),

As if she’s touched that YinYang would do something like giving the milk to her because they don’t want to see her go. It kind of felt like not just fear of no more alliance, but also like they would miss her,

WIP Wednesday! "JWY Amnesia' fic is actually the shorthand for my canon-div fic where the golden core transfer wipes Jiang Cheng's memory, and so he's lost for all of the war, while Wei Wuxian spirals worse than canon into Demonic Cultivation (not just ghost path) because he's going insane looking for Jiang Cheng.

It is my "dark fic" in that warnings apply. However the overall plot is actually based on a role reversal of the La Belle et La Bete the original Beauty and the Beast story. Jiang Cheng being the beauty and Wei Wuxian being the Beast. It's higher fantasy than canon though with like, animal and plant spirits and invisible servants and a shifting mansion which are all from the first The YinYang Master movie.

I have a feeling that someone reading this started liking the ship, or felt curious about their rare pair interaction (if they had any/lh), but either way, I’ll tell you how THIS rare pair even EXSISTED.

Let’s start from the beginning. In some of the episodes, before I knew I kin cabby, I always had a little fascination towards balloon, his issues living with him for so long and how he still struggles to make a good image of himself was just. Cute to me (stop I KNOW you simp for objects too.. DONT DENY IT!!)

And at episode 17, after I found out I kin cabby, I started to like their interactions more, and since this ship was a HEAVY SELF INSERT, It somehow made sense.

They both struggled to gain a good image, they both had a toxic friendship in the past that got resolved, they both have TOO MUCH ISSUES, and they both act like each other so much it’s actually wild

None of us EVER cared to really analyze hidden relationships in the show, and this is actually a good example, if I never simped for balloon like the ‘loon’atic I am
