still riding the high of last night's show. it was so cool!!!!! I fucking love the emo scene and I hope all those guys are successful. also it was cool to be able to hear them and be like, oh these guys are definitely heavily influenced by a lot of the bands that I love

dude it's so yummy and also my server is so sweet 😭 I was telling her about my road trip and she was like "👀 it's a little controversial to say 'round here but I wish I had Canadian citizenship... I want to live up there so bad" and I was like oh honey let me tell you I feel SO much solidarity with people in the Southern states. (I feel like Alberta gets treated similarly by people from other provinces and it pisses me off)

THEY LET ME IN!!

god what a fucking day. I somehow managed to miss a singular joint that was somewhere in my car when I was cleaning it out for my trip, and my car got searched at the USA border crossing because I had houseplants with me, and they found the joint so not only did I get denied entry but I also got fined 700 CAD for failing to declare it and I had to get fingerprinted by american border patrol :') the kicker is that I was crossing into NY which is a legal state (I know it doesn't matter for border crossing purposes because it's federal jurisdiction so it's different, it just. oof. makes it feel worse lol). so now I'm out a huge amount of money for something that makes me feel so incredibly stupid 😭
