You know what I think would’ve been cooler? If Marinette had the black cat and Adrien had the ladybug. Because Marinette is a creator. She makes clothes and draws and makes art and Adrien needs to destroy his walls and break out of Gabriel’s hold. Having the opposite miraculouses would be cool because it brings back the ying and yang thing and can allow for character development. They are able to be complete because they are surrounded by their opposite. Then they are full characters, balanced and then coming together in the end.

(I know Marinette’s whole thing is about her hobbies but Adrien’s is about his situation, but he doesn’t actually have a lot of hobbies that really define him before gaining his miraculous. He played piano and modeled, but I think that’s it. Neither of those are really representative of him but more of his situation, only doing things that keep him in an ideal).
