I tried adding Kat from memory to my (wip) ygo world revamp and she's been great so far XD

She had four near death experiences, she got into three fist fights with Yami Bakura (none of which were the cause for her many near deaths), she mocked Malik, and then she flirted with him only to walk away and completely ignore him until he left, she got into a fist fight with tkb but I think they're friends now(?) and after that, she proceeded to go up to the only other oc on the lot and take selfies with her for the remainder of the get-together. It was great, Kat is truly a role model and an icon, she is sleeping on the floor rn because she couldn't make it to bed XD

I've revamped the Nerd Herd yet again (this should be the last one for a while 😅), and this time I've decided to include Serenity and TKB, since they'll each be part of one of my main households at some point.

The old save was kind of a mess, because I started it back in 2019 and it was a while before I came up with any real gameplay rules, so I'm thinking of starting again from an earlier point in the timeline - probably halfway between the Ceremonial Duel and DSOD, although I'm not sure if DSOD is an ingredient in my canon soup. 🤔 So yeah, when I start posting my gameplay, you'll be able to see the whole thing from the beginning! :D

Yugi's aspiration is The Curator, and his traits are Geek, Good, Loyal and Self-Assured (character development, cornflakes~).

Atem's aspiration is Discover Life (by Midnitetech), and his traits are Genius, Competitive (by Kuttoe), Geek and Socially Awkward.

I was lucky enough to win the Goth Galore kit in a giveaway earlier this year, and it's perfect for Yugi! I wish there were more CC addons for it, though.

Joey's aspiration is Friend of the World (still not sure about that, but I can't think of anything that works 🤷‍♀️), and his traits are Active, Glutton, Hot-Headed, Loyal and Outgoing.

Serenity's aspiration is Discover Life (at least until I settle on something else), and her traits are Gentle (by Lazurite, adopted by Chingyu), Loves Outdoors, Music Lover and Cheerful.

Fun fact: While I was playtesting the cornflakes, Wonderful Whims told me that Serenity found Téa extremely attractive. I haven't set anyone's preferences yet, so I guess my game's a Sideshipper! 😂

Téa's aspiration is World-Famous Celebrity, and her traits are Outgoing, Hot-Headed, Dance Machine and Ambitious.

Tristan's aspiration is Soulmate, and his traits are Dog Lover, Active, Loyal and Romantic.

We still need a dance career. 😔

Ryo's aspiration is either Bestselling Author or Paranormal Investigator (from Lifetime Aspirations Reworked - I like both for him), and his traits are Gentle, Geek, Glutton and Creative.

TKB's aspiration is Discover Life, and his traits are Glutton, Kleptomaniac, Geek and Can't Stand Cold (by NateTheL0ser). (Yep, I kind of struggled, ^^;. He's not exactly evil anymore at this point, so I wasn't sure what else to give him.)

Having them live together should be fun, especially with Tristan thrown in... (I've had Thoughts about this. Not all of them will work in-game, but still.)

Oh, and I took some inspiration from this piece of art for TKB's face!

Miho's aspiration is Soulmate, and her traits are Bookworm, Cheerful, Materialistic and Romantic.

Duke's aspiration is Computer Whiz, and his traits are Genius, Geek, Romantic and Outgoing.

These cornflakes just kept rolling wants to talk to each other during playtesting, and these probably weren't even the same Sims from the original save! I'm pretty sure I remade them from scratch! It's like the game itself ships them! VANITYSHIPPERS, UNITE! (All... maybe three of us! 😂)

Next up are the Kaibas (including Roland) and the Ishtars, and then some characters I haven't posted before! 👀

tristan not as big a gamer as his friends but i always give him old school snes games he looks like donkey kong he acts like donkey kong donkey kong country is his favorite video game

anzu not a gamer but she likes things that are cute and short plays any game where you unlock outfits also QUEEN of rhythm games canonically great at DDR brings just dance to every party

duke resource management and complex game they looooove a sim city or a cities skylines had mall tycoon like the boring kid i was instead of rollercoaster tycoon

seto anything that requires lightning quick reflexes and no thinking but i also think he's into video games for the story so he plays a lot of games that make him feel something can't imagine that man finishing journey without crying

ryou survival horror expert loves the classics silent hill the clocktower series you name it actually has played pathologic all the way through with the bonus endings he's a monster

mokuba minecraft master, can and will build anything you dream

For my visual novel project I'm starting with something really small to test it out. It will be a very short original wlw story.

I have to admit Ren Py is a bit intimidating since it's all coding, but I'll give it a try! If it's too much for me, my 2nd option is tyranobuilder.

If I could make/program a game I will make a All x Yugi dating sim with Route Atem, Kaiba, Jou, Anzu, and Secret Route (thats unlocked when you got all routes Good Ending) is Bakura 😂😂

The "Main Route" (the one thats said to be the True One) is probably Atem and he's the hardest one. Jou and Anzu are considered the "Casual" routes (they are Fun and their "Bad Endings" don't necessarily made drastic changes, probably just Failed to Romance, but still good friends). I want Kaiba to be the Love Interest where he's gonna Fall for MC either way, no matter which routes you chose.

Atem's Good Ending is a tear-jerker and his Bad Ending probably will be either he Dies or Yugi Dies😂 something Drastic like that

Summary: Where his Other Self is efficient and tactical, Yugi is kind and empathetic. They complement each other: providing what the other lacks. However, it’s sometimes hard to see that when his Other Self seems so much more than what Yugi gives. However, it’s not Yugi’s fault that his life and death scenarios revolve around Duel Monsters. Given another life, Yugi will see that life requires more than a cool head and logical thinking.

Happy Sim Saturday, cornflakes! :D This time I've actually scheduled the post for the right time, XD.

Seto's aspiration is Hardcore Gamer (by Ilkavelle), and his traits are Genius, Geek, Perfectionist, Competitive and Arrogant (both by Kuttoe).

Mokuba's aspiration is Leader of the Pack, and his traits are Insider, Genius, Loyal and Good.

Roland's aspiration is Super Parent, and his traits are Calm (by Kuttoe), Proper, Serious (by Chingyu), Loyal and Family-Oriented.

Marik's aspiration is Living Life on a Whim (from Lifetime Aspirations), and his traits are Genius, Adventurous, Loves Outdoors and Noncommittal.

Ishizu's aspiration is Successful Lineage, and her traits are Good, Calm, Genius, Family-Oriented and Bookworm (just a HC).

Rishid's aspiration is Big Happy Family, and his traits are Stoic, Loyal, Family-Oriented and... that's it, ^^;. Maybe now that his life doesn't have to revolve around Marik anymore (and I have Growing Together), he'll pick up some more!

All these cornflakes except Marik and Ishizu are so tall I had to shrink them to take their headshots, XD (I firmly believe that Mokuba ends up taller than Seto).

In early YGO there's a tendency for a lot of characters, but especially villains and antagonists, to be associated with their own unique game niche (Yami Bakura and tabletop roleplaying, Otogi and dice in general, Kaiba as the ur Magic The Gathering Snob, Bandit Keith's slots theming, Mai's backstory as a croupier, even Anzu as DDR queen) but as time went on and we were siloed more strictly into a single card game forever this sort of fell to the wayside. I really like the idea of assigning characters gameplay formats though. This post is an excuse to share my personal belief that Marik Ishtar is a diehard grand strategy management sim spreadsheet warrior

YUZU BETTER WIN especially in the beginning she was more of the main character than yuya honestly. the entire plot of arc v HINGES on her and if she wasn't there than arc v would be a completely different series. yuzu also has such a good character design and motif and this may be petty but her color scheme is just better than yuna sorry not sorry i'm right. she may not be the best WRITTEN yugioh girl but she is by far the best DESIGNED and that has to count for something. i love yuzu she's wonderful she's cute and girly while being able to hold her own as she should!!!!! yuzu is incredibly based and wonderful and deserves the world she is wonderful.

Yuzu Hiragi

The entire show would not work if the cast wasn't obsessed with her, and they're all right to stan her, literally gets Sora and Serena to defect from Academia with her sheer charisma, beat Masumi at their gay little rivalry, Yugo spends a few days with her and is ready to die for her, Yuya is simply just the loudest about adoring her And why not? She is so clever and determined, doing the most work out of anyone to figure out the myth plot. Actively trains to keep up with the rest of cast. Even when the universe is conspiring against her and trying to keep her down, she fucking headbutts Roger and tells him off or manifests to help save the world in the ultimate girlboss team-up that was the Arc V finale. Truly any dimension without her is worth upending. - The mysterious magical bracelet that isekai's her to different worlds, the Can-Do attitude, the cool poses (fusion summoning), the ADORABLE character design, AND she was 1/4 of a world-saving hero in the past?? If it weren't for the meddling writers, she would have been the main character - yuzu is everything. literally the plot of arc v hinges on the fact everyone who meets her become just as obsessed with her. and they are totally right to do so

Yuna Goha

Yuna is great. She's an absolute bully whenever she's in conflict with the other characters (so sorry to Sky), which honestly? fun. Amazing energy. and then she has gay energy with Rovian and Asaka. Yuna has a surprisingly dynamic character arc, going from just following Rovian around in between bullying people, to taking on the task of inventing a new card (which is very hard work in this universe), and maturing to being one of the town's leaders. She's clearly someone in the process of learning who she is and I've really enjoyed seeing her get to go on that journey. SHE HAS A BASICALLY CANON GIRLFRIEND PLEASE I AM BEGGING BECAUSE ROVIAN GOT ELIMINATED ALREADY

Like with Ryou and Yami B, I just generated a Yamima twin and did a few tweaks. Most of the tweaks were to his body to make him more twink-like lol
