#yeti ghost oc

Inspired by @tourettesdog's Far Frozen designs and @moonfoxgazer's yeti also inspired by the same user!

I decided to take my Owl House Titan oc Fossil and turn them into a yeti ghost! They are a They/Them and they specialize in crystals, unique ice formations, and fossils. They have a birthmark that looks like an Ammonite (hence their name) with a scar over top of it. They enjoy a good adventure.

I love my four armed long boi so I had to have some fun translating them over.

Been thinking of some cousins for the Far Frozen yetis for some time now, specifically spirits of similar origins that have embodied different elemental cores. This fella on the right has a fire core.

I don't have a set name yet for these guys or where they're from (though I'm considering something along the lines of "Distant Flames", or "Endless Plains"). I wanted to draw how I imagine their facial features differ from the Far Frozen yetis.

The fire core cousins most prominently differ in their coats. While the Far Frozen yetis have dense, usually white coats (with a common prevalence of point markings) their fire core cousins favor darker pelts with a common prevalence of spots and stripes.

In addition, the coats of a fire core yeti are much sleeker, particularly around the cheeks and neck. They possess longer, tufted ears, and typically have more narrow facial features.

While it is more common for Far Frozen yetis to have protruding lower canines, it is the opposite for their fire core cousins (though a variety in dentition is recognized throughout both demographics).

While the ornamentations on their skulls appear similar in shape, the icy horns that a Far Frozen yeti possess are very different from the molten antlers of their fire core cousins.

From a young age, horns start to bud on Far Frozen yetis, growing slowly throughout their existence. These horns may be shaved, trimmed, altered, or even occasionally repaired through external means, but otherwise will not deviate much from their intended shape, and do not drop unless damaged (by poor health or injury).

In contrast, the ornamentations crowning the skulls of fire core yetis are antlers. They do not grow at all until adolescence, and will shed and regrow throughout their existence, often changing in size and shape as they do so. Rather than being made of ice, the structure of a fire core yeti's antlers bears a striking resemblance to obsidian, with fiery veins woven throughout. When a fire core yeti drops their antlers, the spot left behind resembles magma, hardening and darkening overtime as their new antlers grow.

Chapter Title: A Call from the Other Side

I don’t know the current status of Linked Universe, so if I need to delete this please tell me, but after seeing a drawing of Wild and Danny doing the whole “I think we need to kill this guy” thing, my mind went blank! But in a “How did I not think of this?” way!

Because imagine them finding him in the Lost Woods or something and thinking he died there! Or Danny feeling like he can breathe around these people because they fight several different kinds of monsters practically daily, so how weird can it be if their newest member is half ghost?! And Danny 100% takes a picture at some point! I know this might not be half as big as DC x DP, but still! I feel like this needs to be explored a bit!

And also, he’s definitely chill with Wolfie because for the Linked Universe fans who don’t know, Danny has befriended a ghost puppy (Cujo) who is capable of turning into a giant dog probably the size of a two or three story house, a large anthropomorphic ghost wolf who speaks Esperanto (named Wulf) big enough to hold Danny in one hand, and a ghost yeti also large enough to hold him in one hand (Frostbite), along with pretty much the entire village of ghost yetis. I think it’d be crazy if he was actually scared of Wolfie, especially if he sees him acting all friendly with the others first. If fact, he probably thinks he’s a husky or Alaskan malamute at first because of his white and black fur.

Also, like my old Link OC Modern, I bet that Danny can’t have potions or anything with magic because it doesn’t exist in his world or the ghost zone, so he never had the necessary biology or something to handle it and will most likely throw up any meals or potions with magic in them. This probably worries some of the group, but Danny doesn’t really care about his healing process possibly being slower without the potions and is more worried about consuming anything containing magic again.

I’m gonna stop before I ramble too much.

Raven never liked the winter—it's cold and miserable, but sometimes she thinks about that one incident with Price.

The snow crunched beneath their boots, despite the heavy snow gear and being all bundled up, the wind that howled against them still made her shiver at times, with frost clinging to their hoods.

Price: "We'll set up on the ridge, take out the guards in pairs, quietly of course. Then we'll move to the east, link up with Gaz—"

Raven: "Captain." She called out, trying to cut him off gently, but Price didn't break stride, urgent in every step.

Price: "Once we breached the facility, the comms will go dark, we'll need to move fast and—"

Raven: "Price-"

Price: "Ghost will cover the west exit. We'll sweep through, plant charges and get out before—"

Raven: "JOHN—"

Before Price could react, his foot caught on a hidden snowbank, sending him face-first into the snow with a muffled grunt.

Raven doubled over, dropped to her knees with her hand covering her mouth to stifle the silent laugh (fails), body shaking from trying to contain her amusement.

The snow crunched beneath Price as he pushed himself up, shaking away the snow from his face, giving a glance at Raven, who was still laughing quietly beside him and pointing his face.

"Not. A. Word."

He grumbled, brushing the snow off his forehead and continued threading through the snowfield, albeit more cautiously this time.

Raven grinned under her helmet, not saying a word, or even bothered to let him know that his beard was still covered in white powders and twigs that made him look like a Yeti (sort of).

Winter isn't so bad after all.

So I made an oc

His name is Isfrid.

Lore Under cut

- The former Guardian of an Unnamed Village from ancient times

- was sealed away after an unknown person placed a spell on him, causing him to run amok and act as a tyrant.

- his seal made him appear as an icy statue deep in a cave, found by human adventurers in modern times

- his third eye was formed from the malice that infected him, and acts more as a demon eye than a real eye. It gives him foresight, about 10 seconds into the future.

- His seal began to crack after being discovered, and by time people came to move the 'statue', he was already gone.

- the control over him was gone, but damage was done to his psych, he's more feral than not, and lost without something to be the guardian of.

- he lives on the same frozen expanse as the Yetis of the Far Frozen, but doesn't associate with them. He's rather new to the Ghost Zone, and contains an ice core.

- his personality is rather chaotic and silly, but he's painfully lonely. He'd rather be alone, unfortunately, rather than allow himself close to others and hurt him, should he lose himself once again.

- he was named Isfrid by the villagers, for he was their god, and he was gracious towards them before he was corrupted.

More thoughts on a DP/DC thing with the Viking OC:

Revenants are people who came back screaming because of their deaths. Who died in pain and came back a little bit wrong. Who exist in a half awake state for a few years before going feral and rampaging. They have Ghost cores but they aren’t like regular ones. Half formed and leaking in them, they need ectoplasm to survive. They can draw it in from their surroundings but most Revenants can’t get enough unless they’re around places with a lot or unless a ghost takes pity. That’s what happened to Viking.

Viking (Viv now as I need a name) is old as fuck and decided to retire for a bit. She went to Gotham where the grumpy woman isn’t that weird, even if she’s built tall and strong and has sharp teeth. She’s been there for five years when the baby Revenant known as Red Hood shows up. Viv fucks with him because 1) territory issues. 2) why not? 3) she isn’t interested in dealing with a rampaging baby Revenant.

Now, the Lazarus Pits are corrupted ectoplasm and are dangerous. All ecto-beings know to stay the fuck away. Sure it gives you epic powers… but at what cost?!? Your well being, sanity and just in general yourself.

Viv can’t sense Red Hood’s being but she does see him bleed and sees the flecks of Ecto. Ecto that’s wrong. It clicks.

And she’s mad. You see: Viv HATES the LOA because she was killed by Ra’s, and despite murdering him multiple times he keeps coming back due to the contaminated Ecto in his veins. She loathes him so much. (Because she can’t die until he does and she’s forever stuck on the mortal plane because of him.) So seeing a Revenant walk around FULL of that shit pisses her off. So she straps on her armour (she commissioned it cause heroes are a thing and she was BORED) and goes to confront the Red Hood. Full on tackles him while he’s doing some villain shit and punches him.

“What THE FUCK IS A LEAUGE BITCH DOING HERE YOU PUSS RIDDLED BITCH FUCK?!” She’s safe from her ectoplasm being taken because one side effect of the Pit is that Jason can make his own ecto it’s just contaminated.

“WHAT THE FUCK?!” Jason shouts back and it’s this massive fight where Jason begins freaking out because uhh… what’s going on?! Why is he not being hurt to bad?! What…

Viv suddenly sees his freaking out and pauses. Cause like: she honestly thought he knew. Like she thought he KNEW he was a Revenant and willingly jumped into the Pit but…

“… you’re aware you’re a Revenant right?!”

“What?!?”

“… oh…”

And out spills the explanation to him. Which is… interesting. More interesting is one dumbasss live-streaming it. So like these two powerful beings are spilling info.

“So like who murked you anyway brat?” Viv asks.

“Joker.”

“Oh shit. How?”

And that spirals into him spilling he was Robin and his plots and…

“… okay you know what? I’m taking you to the Amity Park. I gotta get you to the Infiinte Realms. That’s nutcase talk meaning the contamination is FUCKED. Yetis can heal you. Maybe.” And Viv, being powerful and older, just kidnaps Jason. Points at a random henchman. “You. You’re in charge for now. The whole crimelord thing will help with the rampaging instincts he has right now so he’ll keep it.”

What are morals to an immortal viking anyway?

Viv goes to Amity where she meets Danny and passes Jason over. Danny is very confused but saw the livestream so he knows what to do there. But he is surprised that there are more people kinda like him.

Viv goes back to Gotham where Batman is waiting for her. Meanwhile Jason gets taken to be healed and shit. Except it’s not a one and done thing, it’s going to be a chronic thing. Like FOREVER he’s gotta deal with contaminated ecto filling him up cause the Pit made him not draw in ecto but produce his own yet it’s always going to be contaminated. Fun.

(More so since they can’t let him just kill the Joker and then die. They would if they could. But the issue is that Jason is full of corrupt material that could damage a lot of the realm and killing him as a ghost is not an option due to how much corruption it would cause.)

Danny and Jason get close while Viv is stuck explaining things and running the empire Jason made until he’s back.

Now: imagine Bruce and the others learning all of this.

Forming Bonds

Written for Danny May 2023 Day 21 Prompt: Shattered Fandom: Danny Phantom Characters: Danny, Clockwork, Frostbite, minor OC Words: 1069 Summary: Danny has been King for over fifty years now and it's starting to get a little boring being in the castle all by himself. When a situation with a ghost comes Danny has just the solution

“Having fun?” Clockwork asked floating into the throne room.

“It’s been a boring few days,” Danny sighed as he flipped himself upside down. “Anything that I can do oh great master of time?” Danny asked, a cocky smile on his face.

“I have something that could use your attention,” Clockwork offered as he handed Danny the file.

“So what is it?” Danny asked, flipping through the papers, never reading.

“You’ve been king for over fifty years and you still don’t read the reports,” Clockwork shook his head.

“Not my fault. I read the super important things, but this is something that you could easily tell me,” Danny shrugged.

“A child ghost was found causing trouble in one of the further realms. Died recently, but no one was there to care for him and his core has started to shatter. Think you can fix the core or at least bring him back here for Frostbite to fix?” Clockwork asked.

“I’ve never fixed a shattered core before,” Danny thought as he looked at his ring. The voices of the ring and crown in his head are normal at this point.

“It’s not an easy task, but if we can’t fix the core we will have to give him a final death. I know it’s not a happy thought, but it’s like a sick dog. We could keep the child alive but he will be in misery. A shattered core is one of the most painful things a ghost, especially one that hasn’t been dead long and can go through,” Danny was thinking it over as Clockwork explained.

“I’ll be back in about let’s say twenty minutes?” Danny smirked as he disappeared with a snap of his fingers.

“Ever since he learned that trick he uses it every time he can,” Clockwork rolled his eyes, but waited nonetheless as Danny appeared again holding a small shaking ghost child.

“He’s not doing too well, doesn’t remember who he was when he was alive and the core is causing extreme pain. I don’t know if I can fix it. The crown and ring aren’t helping. We might have to go to frostbite with this one,” Danny looked down.

“I already have frostbite on standby,” Clockwork led the king toward a room set up with Frostbite and his doctors.

Danny easily handed the child over to the yetis as Clockwork talked to him.

“Do you know why his core started to shatter?” Danny asked.

“I suppose your lessons haven’t covered this yet, but when a new ghost is formed, especially that of a child, they need a parent ghost. Someone to help teach them how to feed from the pure ectoplasm and get rid of the extra energy within them. If they have too much energy and don’t know how to use it this can cause the core to start to shatter.”

“Why wasn’t my core ever shattered?” Danny asked.

“We found you in time. Cores are strange things that we still do not have full information on. We know they have to be developed but a core shattering all depends on the ghost and the will of the ghost. You still went into the zone and Amity had plenty of wild ectoplasm in the human realm. You used your powers often so you fed and got rid of the extra energy often. Then you were found by your allies such as Frostbite and myself. We took you in and gave you lessons. Helped you develop your core to its full potential. Even unlocking its element,” Danny looked up in surprise.

“You mean my ice core?” 

“Well, not every ghost has an elemental core. Those have to be unlocked by a powerful ghost,” Clockwork informed him, laughing at Danny’s amazed face. “Nothing to do now, but wait,” the ghost floated away leaving Danny to wait.

“Well great one, the child is fine. We were able to repair the core. The child will need a parent ghost. Once the child is awake and feeling better I’ll bring him to Dora’s kingdom. They're always accepting of new ghosts,” Frostbite said, looking towards the door.

“Could I be the ghost parent?” Danny asked.

“Are you sure great one? I know in your human years you’ve been considered of age for a great while now, but in ghost years you just barely ended your teenage years?” Frostbite asked, shocked at the words that came out of Danny’s mouth.

“I’m sure. I don’t mind. Plus it might make my life more exciting. I’ll have yours and Clockworks help if I need anything,” Danny said, gently opening the door to look inside. The shaking child that Danny had rescued just a day ago was now sleeping calmly.

“Yeah, I’m sure,” Danny smiled at the yeti.

“Then I’ll leave you with his care package. The child will be thankful my king,” Frostbite smiled.

It was two days later when the ghost child woke up.

“Hey, how are you feeling?” Danny asked.

“I was in so much pain. I was tired and hungry and just in pain. Am I better now?” the small ghost asked.

“Yep! I found you and we were able to fix your core. To make sure it doesn’t happen again I was wondering if you wanted to stay here with me?” Danny asked gesturing to the room.

“What about my family? I don’t fully remember them. I was sick and I remember my mommy telling me that I was going to go away for a long time. Later that night it was dark,” the small ghost asked quietly.

“We had a feeling that you wouldn’t remember. Well, you were really sick and died. An older ghost wasn’t able to find you in time to take care of you so your core ended up shattering. I’m willing to be your parent ghost,” Danny informed the child.

“So I don’t have to leave?”

“You can stay here as long as you want,” Danny assured him,

“I would like that very much Mr. Danny sir,” the ghost said politely.

“Don’t call me sir,” Danny laughed as the ghost blushed.

“I’m sorry!” 

“Don’t apologize. I don’t like formal titles. You can call me really anything you like. Most just call me Danny. What’s your name?”

“Lyle,” the small ghost said.

“Well, Lyle let me be the first to welcome you to Phantom’s keep,” Danny smiled as the ghost hugged him and thanked him.

I've been sitting on some ideas for some new OCs for a while now, and I figured I might as well share them. It might even help me realize them.

First of all, the most close to being realized, is the angel girl I shared a doodle of on here.

I've still got to work out some wrinkles in her design, and I've got some ideas I want to test about how she could emote.

Her name is Sierra, she looks up to Azrael and is pretty naïve.

For the longest time I've wanted to make a mermaid OC, I've bounced ideas around in my head about basing her off a number of aquatic creatures, sharks, otters, eels, isopods... I'm sure I'll come up with something eventually.

Similarly, I've wanted a quadruped girl for a long time now too, and I've known for a while she should be a Manticore, because Manticores are awesome.

I've also had some ideas for new OCs of monster types I've already done:

-ancient automation powered by long lost dark magic, with a human soul trapped inside

-another mimic, comically misunderstands Jaz and Liam's relationship. They all grew up in the same community.

I also want to expand my cast of monster boys, I've only got 4 right now. Current ideas I've got include:

-Lich. He's never seen moving or speaking but everyone insists he's either tired or shy and that he's totally a powerful lich, not just a Halloween prop they dressed up. He actually is a Lich though.

-Gremlin. He acts cool but actually he's kinda lame, but lame in a cool way. (Think Ryuji from Persona 5)

-another ghost, this one appears as a floating bag, with a pair of limbs sticking out (one arm one leg) and glowing eyes peeking from within the bag.

-Alien, ranking higher than my Alien girl. Basically acting as another way to prevent her from being a real threat, though he only appears as a hologram as he's on another planet.

-Elf Boy, sorta Jawa-/Black Mage-esque.

-Dragon boy

-Fresno Nightcrawler, sort of as a counterpart to Layla. Just give him a cap and some shades.

And I'm not sure if this one should be counted alongside these, but:

-Yeti, a preteen but already taller than many of my other OCs. Definitely the kind of kid you'd want to babysit, his parents are often mentioned but never seen.

For now that's basically it. I've got my work cut out.

Scene I did my OCs in my AU, for their designs and anything, I thought it would be fair if each of the Donkey Kong Characters a redesign in my version. Some I design them will be the same but change it up a little bit.

Bio: Funky is the second youngest of the quadruplets. He was quite okay of not being King of Kongo Bongo Island because he would rather spend his time in the beach just surfing and would make a business in there as well. After the disappearance of his brother and father, Swanky and he kept it a secret from DK because they know DK was the only one who will take the throne.

He was childhood friends with Roxanne Kong and ever scene then they began to have a lovely relationship. By the time their 18, Funky and Roxane kinda spend the night together which ends up getting her pregnant. 9 months later, she gave birth to a son “Diddy Kong”. This made Her and Funky realize that they need each other by their side and got married and spent more time together. He is fine with going on adventures with DK but sometimes worry him. He been on an adventure with Diddy along with DK, Dixie and Cranky once, when the Snow Vikings attack *Tropical Freeze arc*

Funky owns a shop by the beach where he sells ice cold beverages and uses his plane to make deliveries to neighboring islands, He even works at a Mechanic Workshop organizing, fixing, and creating vehicles and owns a Weapon shop were DK and his friends have to get weapons to defeat K Rools strong army. He continues with helping the Kong Clan including his Brother and Son whatever The Kremlings got under their sleeve.

Appearance: Look like DK except, Red Polka Dot Head Bandana, Shades, Hair Band, Black Earrings, Bracelets, Tooth Necklace, Tank Top and Blue Swimsuit with Pink Flowers
