Many moons ago I had the brilliant idea, of Vlad getting into a relationship with a man, who looks and acts almost exactly like Jack, without ever realizing the implications of dating someone who's just a cheap copy of his ex. Or that his current boyfriend even shares any traits with Jack. Because Vlad hates Jack, so he would never ever date anyone who resembles Jack in any way. Right?

so me and @ursaspecter made our own bootleg Jack for this scenario- his name is Jacob, he doesn't believe in ghosts (but he's really into cryptids and aliens), he's divorced, and Jack Fenton wants to kill him in cold blood for his crimes against existence itself 👍

Night Vale Summer Literature Camp au

Brief plot setup / background: Danny and Damian are twins, they were both trained to be co leaders of the loa. Danny and Damian had a very rocky relationship before coming to live with the Wanyes because of the fact that Danny had "specialized training", which was really Danny being experiment on with Lazarus water. During these experiments Danny and Respawn met, Danny for a long time considered Respawn as more of a brother to him than Damian, they still consider each other brothers but now Danny actually considers Damian a brother. One of the experiments done on Danny was an attempt to replace his blood with Lazarus water which made him need to drink a shit ton of Lazarus water for his body to keep producing blood, which is also how he managed to survive the portal accident of this au. On the summer of their 14th birthday (I headcannon their birthdays to be during the summer) Danny had begged their father to let him to go to a literature summer camp in a small town called Night Vale with his friends, Sam and Tucker, a program which lasts the entire summer. Bruce is reluctant to let him go because of the whole Lazarus water thing and so is Damian because it would be the first time they would be without each other for longer than a few days, but eventually other members of the family and other leaguers convince Bruce to let him go because Danny might develop an unhealthy dependency on them if they don't let him be independent.

As it turns out a whole class from a school called Casper High would be attending the camp as well. Chaos insues when Danny, Sam, Tucker, Jazz, and Jazz's cousin, Pearl, find an ancient portal underneath the town accidentally turning it on causing Danny who was standing in it to turn into a halfa, now the portal is premently turned on letting all kinds of creatures through.

(Sidenote: I have yet to listen to the actual Welcome to Night Vale podcast, the portal underneath the town came from me. I'm thinking about changing the town to Amity or just let it be a random ass town because of this. No WTNV characters will appear Night Vale is just the setting.)

I just realized today that I've never really posted about this aspect of Vladlence post-divorce and that's criminal because it's hilarious. Silence is very particular and never does charity work....UNLESS it makes Vlad look bad <3 And Vlad KNOWS that's what she's doing. But why would anyone believe him??? lmao

Oh oh oh ! Cant rlly post a new ectober drawing, buuuuut....

Her name Nymphea, she is the queen of the dryad ghosts and wife of overgrowth

(Though they are kinda having a lil cold war because of their beliefs on how to interact with humans)

In the au i got in my head lol, the moment overgrowth declared sam as his daughter, she, as his wife, also became the adoptive ghost mom of sam.

After the thing with overgrowth was over, that connection never got severed, and after some time, sam realized she started developing plant powers. Not wanting to ask overgrowth for help, the trio searches for other plant ghosts, and read about Nymphea.

Who, the moment she saw sam, recognised her as her daughter and was immediatly eager to teach and show her around her greenhouse/palace.

I imagine sams room there to be right under the glassroof, filled with rare ghost plants (as well as long extinct plants), and a ton of black~~ Nymphea would always have an open ear for sam, who often travels there to get away from her posh parents.

Day 4 - Came Back Wrong

Probs the last dp oc related thing that I forgot to post yesterday but here’s another timeline version of GIW Agent J.

Basically, the “what if” his past self didn’t kept his sanity intact after his suit’s malfunctioned, almost tearing him apart between the ghost and human realm. Ending up in the ghost zone instead is what turned him into the Revenant, the bane of any ghosts’ existence it comes across.

Well I guess it’s turning into a thing now! I remember how edgy the ghost designs were in Danny Phantom, and I LOVED them as a kid. It’s really fun messing around with the vibrant, “clashing” colors used to make dp ghosts and emulating the design styles.

I think I’m going with the first color palette I went with. It seems like red was mostly used on actual evil characters. While blue and green are more “typical” for ghosts. The cowgirl lady isn’t evil. She just likes being the scary dog on her property
