Notice Me!
Written for DannyMay day 15 Prompt: Full Hazmat AU Characters: Danny, Sam, Tucker, Maddie, Fenton Family Words:568 Summary: Something terrible happened to Danny when he was 14, but unlike the show he didn't come back
Tumblr media
There is a rumor within the small town of Amity. It’s mostly a secret among the locals and something that they try to not tell outsiders, but a new neighbor could be heard listening to the stories. The children sing their made-up songs about it in the schoolyard. The high schoolers bragging about what they saw, sometimes lying if they have to.
In all of Amity, there was only two who avoided the rumors and the stories as if it was a plague. Like the stories are spewing acid and if they get hit they would burn. Sam Manson and Tucker Foley, the resident losers of the school. They could usually be found with one another, sitting in silence, never saying anything but always together.
If you caught them on a certain day. On two specific days that were special to only one family, you can find them at Fenton Works, the town's resident kooks. The two losers and the Fenton family were the only ones in town that no one talked about when it came to the Amity secret.
The first time someone tried it was a mistake. Maddie was grocery shopping and the cashier just asked her, “Did you hear about the ghost in the black and white hazmat suit? I heard some kids saw him on the roof of your house. Hey don’t you and your husband wear those hazmat suits all the time?” Poor thing didn’t mean to, but Maddie just through a large sum of cash on the counter and grabbed her groceries before breaking down in her car.
When she got home she informed her husband about the story she was told. They spent the next month looking for any sign of the ghost that the cashier was talking about, but for leading experts, they couldn’t find anything.
The first time Sam and Tucker heard about the rumors they were in class, waiting on the bell to ring, as students were in their groups gossiping. They didn’t mean to eavesdrop, but the group was talking so loud that they had no choice but to listen. “Did you hear that some middle schoolers found a ghost in the forest? He had this full hazmat suit on!”
“No way really!? I heard that you can’t see his face!”
“Well I heard that they saw a glimpse and he looked to be about our age,” the three whispered to each other as Sam and Tucker looked at each other and nodded.
The two spent three months searching the forest, stealing tech from the Fentons to try and find the ghost, but none was ever found.
By the time the family and Sam and Tucker had gotten together, it was six months after Sam and Tucker had heard the rumors. Seven months since their best friend died in a lab accident. Eight months since his parents started to build the portal.
They had gathered at the grave that was built just for the boy, everyone brining flowers and small presents, but none could see the black and white ghost with no face begging to be seen. Begging to be noticed by his friends and family. Screaming that he was okay! That he was right there in front of him!
It was officially six months since Danny Fenton died and on this day with his family and friends gathering around his day he would be turning fifteen.

DannyMay Day 2: Flowers
So... This is a couple days late, but I’m posting days 2-4 all on this because I have them all and I’m lazy.
Day Two: Flowers
AO3
Maddie had dropped gardening years ago. It had pained her to do so; she had been raised on a farm, after all, surrounded by cows and pigs and hens and apple trees and blueberry bushes. But alas, such was the life of a busy scientist and inventor with two young children.
That didn’t necessarily stop her from occasionally perusing the flowers at the hardware store, especially the low maintenance ones. Fentonworks often felt too cold, too sterile, and it was her opinion that yarrows or daylilies or maybe even azaleas would bring the color and life it needed. She even had a small hope, hidden deep in the back of her mind in a place she wasn’t even aware of, that she might one day find a blood blossom.
It was a hope that was realized completely on accident. Maddie hadn’t even know what she was looking at until later that night. The small, red, rose-like buds had been mislabeled at the local nursery. Maddie hadn’t given them a second glance. When she got home that afternoon, Jack had been reading through an ancient ghost text, and she had caught a brief glimpse of a page on botany. There, plain as day, was a detailed diagram of the supposedly extinct flower.
She had gone back to the nursery the next day and bought out the entire stock. They were still as mislabeled as the day before, but Maddie could see a growing spark of understanding in the manager’s eyes as the official town ghost hunter and mad scientist bought every single one. They had barely fit in the back of the Fenton GAV, but fit them she did.
Jazz was more interested in human sciences than the rest of the household, but Jack and Danny, they would definitely be interested. Oh, Maddie was so excited to show them.

Forming Bonds
Written for Danny May 2023 Day 21 Prompt: Shattered Fandom: Danny Phantom Characters: Danny, Clockwork, Frostbite, minor OC Words: 1069 Summary: Danny has been King for over fifty years now and it's starting to get a little boring being in the castle all by himself. When a situation with a ghost comes Danny has just the solution
Tumblr media
“Having fun?” Clockwork asked floating into the throne room.
“It’s been a boring few days,” Danny sighed as he flipped himself upside down. “Anything that I can do oh great master of time?” Danny asked, a cocky smile on his face.
“I have something that could use your attention,” Clockwork offered as he handed Danny the file.
“So what is it?” Danny asked, flipping through the papers, never reading.
“You’ve been king for over fifty years and you still don’t read the reports,” Clockwork shook his head.
“Not my fault. I read the super important things, but this is something that you could easily tell me,” Danny shrugged.
“A child ghost was found causing trouble in one of the further realms. Died recently, but no one was there to care for him and his core has started to shatter. Think you can fix the core or at least bring him back here for Frostbite to fix?” Clockwork asked.
“I’ve never fixed a shattered core before,” Danny thought as he looked at his ring. The voices of the ring and crown in his head are normal at this point.
“It’s not an easy task, but if we can’t fix the core we will have to give him a final death. I know it’s not a happy thought, but it’s like a sick dog. We could keep the child alive but he will be in misery. A shattered core is one of the most painful things a ghost, especially one that hasn’t been dead long and can go through,” Danny was thinking it over as Clockwork explained.
“I’ll be back in about let’s say twenty minutes?” Danny smirked as he disappeared with a snap of his fingers.
“Ever since he learned that trick he uses it every time he can,” Clockwork rolled his eyes, but waited nonetheless as Danny appeared again holding a small shaking ghost child.
“He’s not doing too well, doesn’t remember who he was when he was alive and the core is causing extreme pain. I don’t know if I can fix it. The crown and ring aren’t helping. We might have to go to frostbite with this one,” Danny looked down.
“I already have frostbite on standby,” Clockwork led the king toward a room set up with Frostbite and his doctors.
Danny easily handed the child over to the yetis as Clockwork talked to him.
“Do you know why his core started to shatter?” Danny asked.
“I suppose your lessons haven’t covered this yet, but when a new ghost is formed, especially that of a child, they need a parent ghost. Someone to help teach them how to feed from the pure ectoplasm and get rid of the extra energy within them. If they have too much energy and don’t know how to use it this can cause the core to start to shatter.”
“Why wasn’t my core ever shattered?” Danny asked.
“We found you in time. Cores are strange things that we still do not have full information on. We know they have to be developed but a core shattering all depends on the ghost and the will of the ghost. You still went into the zone and Amity had plenty of wild ectoplasm in the human realm. You used your powers often so you fed and got rid of the extra energy often. Then you were found by your allies such as Frostbite and myself. We took you in and gave you lessons. Helped you develop your core to its full potential. Even unlocking its element,” Danny looked up in surprise.
“You mean my ice core?”
“Well, not every ghost has an elemental core. Those have to be unlocked by a powerful ghost,” Clockwork informed him, laughing at Danny’s amazed face. “Nothing to do now, but wait,” the ghost floated away leaving Danny to wait.
“Well great one, the child is fine. We were able to repair the core. The child will need a parent ghost. Once the child is awake and feeling better I’ll bring him to Dora’s kingdom. They're always accepting of new ghosts,” Frostbite said, looking towards the door.
“Could I be the ghost parent?” Danny asked.
“Are you sure great one? I know in your human years you’ve been considered of age for a great while now, but in ghost years you just barely ended your teenage years?” Frostbite asked, shocked at the words that came out of Danny’s mouth.
“I’m sure. I don’t mind. Plus it might make my life more exciting. I’ll have yours and Clockworks help if I need anything,” Danny said, gently opening the door to look inside. The shaking child that Danny had rescued just a day ago was now sleeping calmly.
“Yeah, I’m sure,” Danny smiled at the yeti.
“Then I’ll leave you with his care package. The child will be thankful my king,” Frostbite smiled.
It was two days later when the ghost child woke up.
“Hey, how are you feeling?” Danny asked.
“I was in so much pain. I was tired and hungry and just in pain. Am I better now?” the small ghost asked.
“Yep! I found you and we were able to fix your core. To make sure it doesn’t happen again I was wondering if you wanted to stay here with me?” Danny asked gesturing to the room.
“What about my family? I don’t fully remember them. I was sick and I remember my mommy telling me that I was going to go away for a long time. Later that night it was dark,” the small ghost asked quietly.
“We had a feeling that you wouldn’t remember. Well, you were really sick and died. An older ghost wasn’t able to find you in time to take care of you so your core ended up shattering. I’m willing to be your parent ghost,” Danny informed the child.
“So I don’t have to leave?”
“You can stay here as long as you want,” Danny assured him,
“I would like that very much Mr. Danny sir,” the ghost said politely.
“Don’t call me sir,” Danny laughed as the ghost blushed.
“I’m sorry!”
“Don’t apologize. I don’t like formal titles. You can call me really anything you like. Most just call me Danny. What’s your name?”
“Lyle,” the small ghost said.
“Well, Lyle let me be the first to welcome you to Phantom’s keep,” Danny smiled as the ghost hugged him and thanked him.

It's Snowing!? In California
Written for Danny May 2023 Day 3 Prompt: Blizzard Fandom: Danny Phantom Characters: Danny, Sam, Tucker, OC's Words: 1193 Summary: It's Danny's Sophmore year of college! He's finally living in his own apartment with his friend from freshman year. So why is their a blizzard in California?
Danny blames global warming.
Tumblr media
“I can not believe that it is snowing! In California of all places,” James, a young man with brown hair and brown eyes dressed in baggy blue jeans with a baggy hoodie complained as he rolled on Danny’s bed.
“It’s not that bad,” Danny rolled his eyes at his over-dramatic friend.
“Says you! I was raised in the heat! I bet you were surrounded by snow all your life! Huh is this what a blizzard is like?” James asked.
“Please this is nothing like a blizzard,” Laura rolled her eyes.
“All of you are against me!” James complained.
“James I was born and raised in Illinois. We had snow but nothing like a blizzard. Me and the cold get along is all,” Danny gave his two friends a smile.
“Don’t tell me you have an Elsa complex,” Parker rolled their eyes at their weird and strange roommate.
“No, I don't have an Elsa complex. I just have a thing with the cold. I don’t do too well in the heat, which is weird considering where I decided to go to college, but they have a good science program,” Danny shrugged.
“I’ll learn something about you one day,” James complained, wrapping himself up in Danny’s blankets. “It’s too cold to even leave.”
“I would offer you to stay, but I have a video call to make,” Danny said sadly, pointing to his door.
“Oh! You got yourself a girlfriend?” James asked, looking over Danny’s shoulder at his computer screen.
“No! Just my old friends from high school. We plan ahead so we can all talk at the same time,” Danny explained, a blush forming on his face.
“Just leave. You know how he is about his privacy. This is the first time I’m actually going to be here for one of his calls and it’s only because they canceled my practice,” Parker groaned.
“Alright we’re leaving,” Laura agreed, grabbing James by the collar, and easily dragging him out, only to stop at the door. “Uh dudes, I think that your door is blocked,” Laura said, trying to open the door.
“Here let me try,” Parker said, failing to open the door. “Okay let me check the weather.”
“Are you sure you can’t get the door opened?” Danny asked.
“Yeah, it really is a blizzard out there. It’s snowing hard,” Parker said, showing the weather forecast to his friends.
“Guess we can let them crash here for the night,” Danny sighed as his phone beeped. “But I do have to make this call,” Danny grabbed his headphones, opening the app on his desktop.
“At least let us meet your high school friends,” James asked, with hope in his eyes.
“Sure, I'll introduce you. Just let me talk to them first real quick,” Danny promised as two faces appeared on his computer.
“Hey, ghost boy!” Sam greeted a smile on her face.
“Theirs Mr. Spooky! Took you long enough dude,” Tucker smiled.
“Hey, guys! I got some friends here that want to meet you,” Danny pointed to the three people behind him.
“They don’t know about all your craziness do they?” Sam asked.
“No, and I would like to keep it that way.”
“Of course great one,” Tucker smiled as Danny blushed red.
“Will you two ever let me live that down?”
“Sorry, but nothing compares to a boy and his yeti,” Sam smiled.
“Now will you please let us meet your friends,” James was shaking Danny?
“Alright alright,” Danny agreed, taking his headphones out and turning his speakers on.
“Sam Tucker this is Parker, my roommate, James, and his girlfriend Laura. Guys these are my friends from high school Sam and Tucker.
“That’s all we are Danny? Just friends from high school?” Sam asked, a fake pout on her lips.
“We dated for a year,” Danny admitted as Sam laughed.
“I remember those times. Everything was so much easier then,” Tucker smiled as he tapped away.
“So why is everyone over at your place?” Sam asked, ignoring the shocked faces of Danny’s new friends.
“Apparently there's a blizzard going on outside and our door got frozen,” Danny shrugged as his two friends started to laugh.
“Are you two okay?” Parker asked.
“Sorry, it’s just real life Elsa here is being stopped by the cold for once in his life!” Tucker was dying of laughter now.
“Hey, it's not funny!” Danny yelled at them.
“Will be when I tell Ember and Dora about it,” Sam smirked.
“Don’t you dare tell Flame face,” Danny glared as his friends looked at him surprised.
“So who’s Dora and Ember?” Laura asked.
“Two really good friends of Danny. They don’t get to see each other often but he and Ember get along like a house on fire. I pray that you never see the two in a room together,” Tucker elaborated.
“How about you tell us what’s so funny about Danny and the cold?” Laura asked as Sam narrowed her eyes.
“Nice try but we don’t give away Danny’s secrets that easily,” Sam said, a dark look in her eyes.
“Hey she didn’t mean anything by it,” James was quick to defend his girlfriend.
“Sam, chill out. I don’t need you to be all protective of me. I can take care of myself,” Danny told her, hoping Laura and James can see the apology within his eyes.
“I’ve never seen you take care of yourself in the last six years so excuse me if I’m rightfully worried.”
“Sam, I've been doing better. I promise,” Danny gave her a happy smile.
“Sorry dude I have to agree with Sam on this. We’ll be the judge of that when we get the results of your next exams,” Tucker said as Danny looked defeated.
“You two have zero faith in me,” Danny hung his head low, missing the look that his new friends were giving each other.
“Hey Danny’s college friends it was nice to meet you but we have a game to get to,” Sam was quick to say as Danny was reminded why he was on call in the first place. Putting his headphones back in he booted up doom as the three began to play, ignoring the conversation going on behind him.
“Well that conversation worried me,” Parker said, looking at their roommate.
“I have a feeling his friends are too overprotective over him for a reason,” James said, rubbing his arms to stop the uncomfortable feelings coming his way.
“He’s happy now and if he was in any real danger we know that he’s being looked after. I know you're both worried about him but there's nothing we can do until he lets us in. Let’s just enjoy this night and maybe talk to him some more,” Laura smiled as they got out a deck of cards to play.
Eventually, Danny’s call ended and he stayed up with his friends playing games with them before they all passed out, the next day when Danny tried to leave for his morning run he was happy to discover that the door was no longer frozen shut.
“The snow is beautiful today,” Danny smiled, walking fully outside, closing the door behind him.
