You were always happy. Well not always , but you always tried to make sure you were nice. Your girlfriend Wednesday Addams was quite the opposite. She could care less about what people had to say. She could care less on what she said. She embraced her weirdness. You envied her for it.

“Hi! Could I get a Carmel frappe with not whip cream and sprinkles please!” You said, the worker at the counter whose name you knew from the would purpose he and Wednesday sometimes work together for her mystery’s. summary: Ajax has been crushing on you for ages, dropping obvious hints every chance he gets. So why don’t you notice? Do you not like him? Something changes when the Rave’n dance comes.

The rave’n dance is coming up soon, and Ajax can’t wait. There’s just one problem. A certain someone doesn’t reciprocate his feelings. he’d dropped the most obvious hints, and they’d brushed them off like nothing had happened. Anyone except them would realize. To recount, these hints included:

•The time he gave you a heart necklace with your initials on it. You’d beamed at him and he almost thought you’d say what he so desperately wanted to hear. But then you said

“This is so sweet! You’re the best friend ever.” His heart sank into his chest. See, if he’d been a little more perceptive, he would’ve also paid attention to how much you were blushing when you gave it to him. But he didn’t.

•it was winter at Nevermore. The snow was thick and you’d dragged him outside, sticking your tongue out to catch the snowflakes. He admired you , your ability to look good even when you didn’t care. You turned to him, and giggled.

“what?” You asked. “Nothing!” He said quickly, looking away. “You were staring at me.” You pressed. “I- you have snow in your hair.” He lied. His face was red, but not from the cold. He hastily said good night.

Mix that with every other signal he’d given you, ever longing touch or small gift, even the way he looked at you. It was obvious. But you never noticed. He wanted to ask you to the Rave’n. So you met up like you did every Wednesday, at the weathervane. You sat, ordering the same thing you did every time. When the topic changed from homework to the Rave’n, he practically jumped at the chance to ask you.

“Y/n, I really want to go to-” Tyler sets the drinks down, interrupting him as he turns to you. “not to sound like a creep, but is there any chance..I could get your number?” You shoot a second long look at Ajax, turning back to Tyler and writing your number on a slip of paper he hands you, giving him your most seductive smile. Ajax feels sick to his stomach. You turn back to him. “Yeah?” You say, eyes wide. “Nothing.” He mutters, and hurriedly leaves after paying for his coffee.

Now he’s in your room, messing with your things while you finish your homework. He changes the song on your speaker, and you look up.

“hey! I liked that song.” You hit his arm playfully. He groans and turns it back. He was going to not pay attention to the song, save for a few nods of his head, but now that you’ve given your approval, he listens. The lyrics are about not confessing when your in love, and his heart tightens. He looks at you, focused on your work. You’re so pretty, your E/C eyes shining as you furrow your brow, furiously writing something down. He decides he can’t wait any longer. All he wants is to say it, to get you out of his head somehow. But instead he thinks about how many times you didn’t pick up on his hints, and he gets frustrated. He knows you’ve noticed. So why haven’t you done anything?

“Why do you keep rejecting me?” He asks. Your head shoots up, your eyes widening. He regrets what he’s said immediately.

“What?” You say, panic coursing through you. The truth was, you’d been trying to get Ajax to notice the crush you had on him for ages, dropping subtle signs that you were into him every now and then. “If you don’t like me I get it, but you have to stop being so…I don’t know.” He instinctively tries to run his hands through his hair before realizing his beanie is on.

“I..I’m so confused.” You say, trying to get it together as realization sets in. He steps closer. “God! You keep leading me on and then saying we’re just friends! Do you like me or not?” He doesn’t yell, not quite. He would never yell at you. But he’s frustrated, and it’s obvious. It’s not your fault, really. You’d both been misreading the situation forever.

“You like me back?” You say, happiness overwhelming you. His anger disappears, and he walks closer to you.

“God you can be so oblivious.” He groans. You move your face closer to him, smiling. “But you still like me.” You whisper to him, and he grins. “Yeah I do.” You kiss him, happily. You stay like that till you both need to come up for air. He looks away before asking, “do you want to go to the Rave’n with me?” You feel ecstatic as you nod, blushing a deep shade of scarlet. He smiles impossibly wider and reconnects your lips eagerly. Then another question pops into his head. He wishes they would stop so he can just enjoy the moment, the feel of your soft lips against his, but he feels inclined to ask.

“I thought you liked Tyler?” You grin at him as you readjust yourself onto his lap so you can kiss easier.“No, I just wanted to see if that would make you angry.” Relief flows through him. “Did it?” His hands press against your waist. “I don’t know, did it?” You reply against his lips. He doesn’t respond beyond pressing another fervent kiss against your lips, and that’s enough.

Sorta sad headcanon they if no matter how hard to tries to solve a difficult puzzle , and he fails , he just starts silently bawling his eyes out . Cause you know he’s really good at them right ? He got her a heavy weighted blanket for her birthday one time so when that’s not around she just uses Aiden as a blanket if she’s feeling affectionate ( he’s warm in the winter time and pretty light believe it or not )

The tension in the air after the fourth time the reader dies is suffocating. Each death shakes the Yandere School Bus Graveyard gang to their core, and with every life-threatening moment, their fear of losing the reader forever becomes unbearable. 

But the fourth time? The reader’s seemingly miraculous ability to cling to life begins to take its toll on both them and the gang. The reader, worn down physically and emotionally, struggles with the trauma of dying again and again. Each time they come back, it’s harder to find peace in the world around them. Sleep is elusive, memories of each near-death weighing heavily on their chest, making it hard to breathe. 

But for the gang? Their love and obsession take a darker turn. Witnessing the reader's deaths leaves them unstable, hearts racing with anxiety and a need to protect. Something in their minds snaps. They can’t let it happen again. They **won’t** let it happen again. 

Yandere Gang’s Reaction After the Fourth Death:

Ashlynn:

Ashlynn’s breakdown is quiet but devastating. She paces back and forth, wringing her hands until her knuckles turn white. Every time she closes her eyes, she can still see the reader’s lifeless body. It's a replay in her head that she can't turn off. She becomes obsessed with the idea that they need to keep the reader isolated, constantly muttering under her breath about ways to keep them safe. 

“Away from everyone… from the danger… no one can hurt them in the graveyard.”

She starts sketching out plans in her notebook, a frantic scrawl detailing how they’ll live in the bus graveyard. “It’s safer there. We’ll make sure they never have to leave. Ever.” Her obsession with protecting the reader takes over every thought, and she clutches her notebook like it’s the key to their survival.

Ashlynn’s hands tremble as she clutches the reader’s face, her eyes wild with desperation. “You can’t leave us again,” she whispers, her voice breaking. “I won’t survive it. None of us will. You belong with us now.”

She presses her forehead to theirs, her breath coming in shallow gasps as tears spill down her cheeks. “We’ll protect you. We’ll keep you safe. No more dying. No more pain.”

Tyler:

Tyler is furious—at the Phantom Realm, at the world, at everything that keeps pulling the reader back into danger. His anger is overwhelming, and he spends hours punching the side of the abandoned buses, his fists bleeding. He can’t control the rage he feels for being powerless every time the reader dies. But beneath all the anger, there’s fear. Fear that one day, the reader won’t come back.

“We have to lock them away,” Tyler says, his voice gruff but laced with desperation. “No more risks. No more chances. We keep them with us, where they belong. Forever.”

Tyler is the first to suggest that the reader never leave the bus graveyard. He’s willing to do anything, even if it means confining them. As long as the reader is alive, that’s all that matters.

Tyler pulls the reader close, his grip almost too tight, his chest heaving with barely restrained anger. “I swear, if anything tries to take you from me again, I’ll destroy it,” he growls. “I don’t care what I have to do. You’re staying with us.”

He buries his face in their neck, his lips brushing their skin as he speaks, his voice low and possessive. “You belong to me—to all of us. Don’t even think about leaving again.”

Taylor:

Taylor has been crying nonstop since the reader’s fourth death. The fear of losing them has shattered her completely. She can't handle the thought of watching them die again. Her normally confident demeanor is gone, replaced by a fragile, scared version of herself. She clings to the reader, holding them too tightly, not wanting to let go even for a second.

“We need to stay in the graveyard. It’s safe there,” she whispers, her voice shaky. “We’ll make it home. We won’t let anything hurt you again.”

Her possessiveness deepens as she becomes more attached, unwilling to let the reader out of her sight. Taylor's need for control grows stronger, fueled by the fear of ever seeing the reader disappear again.

Aiden’s calm, composed facade finally cracks after the fourth time the reader dies. He tries to stay calm and fake a smile, but his hands tremble, and there’s a haunted look in his eyes. “This can’t keep happening,” he murmurs, pacing the floor of the bus. His mind races with thoughts on how to keep the reader safe, and he becomes consumed with the idea of trapping them in the graveyard permanently.

“We can make it comfortable,” he insists to the others. “No more risks. If they stay here, they’ll live. We’ll make sure of it.”

Aiden begins drawing up plans for turning the graveyard into a livable space, obsessively organizing every detail. He’s determined that the reader will never leave again—and he’ll make sure they’re kept safe, no matter the cost.

Aiden’s fingers trace the outline of the reader’s wrist, his touch light but filled with silent possessiveness. “We’re never letting you go,” he murmurs, his eyes dark with unspoken threats. “Not this time. You’re ours now.”

His lips curve into a smile, cold and sharp, as he leans in close. “We’ll keep you safe. No one will take you away from us. Not ever again.”

Ben:

Ben’s response is chillingly silent. He hasn’t spoken much since the fourth time the reader died, his mind spinning with dark thoughts. Ben’s anger has always simmered beneath the surface, but now it’s boiling over. He’s not just angry at anyone who looks at the reader—he’s angry at the world itself for trying to take them away.

“We’ll keep them hidden,” Ben finally says, his voice eerily calm and out of earshot.

His possessiveness intensifies as he starts planning how to keep the reader hidden from the world. Ben is the one who suggests using the bus graveyard as a permanent home, a place where the reader will never be in danger again—and no one will ever find them.

Logan:

Logan’s reaction is all-consuming guilt. Each time the reader dies, it feels like a piece of him dies with them. He believes that if he were stronger, faster, smarter, he could have prevented it. Now, his guilt mixes with desperation. He’s the one who suggests that they don’t just live in the graveyard—they trick the reader into staying on one of the buses.

“No one will find them there,” Logan says, his voice shaking. “We can seal it off. They’ll be safe. We can protect them.”

Logan’s willingness to imprison the reader comes from a place of overwhelming fear. He’s terrified that the next time they die, it will be for real. And he can’t live in a world without them.

The Plan:

The gang agrees unanimously that the reader must be kept in the bus graveyard, away from the dangers of the Phantom Realm and the real world. They can’t risk losing the reader again. They become obsessed with transforming the graveyard into a permanent home, where the reader can live in isolation with them.

Each member of the gang takes on a different role—Aiden and Ashlynn make the plans, Tyler and Ben handle the physical labor, and Taylor and Logan ensure that the reader never tries to leave. Every time the reader expresses discomfort or fear, they’re met with soft reassurances and veiled threats. 

“This is for your own good,” they all say, their voices filled with devotion. “We won’t let anything happen to you again. You’re safe now.”

The reader’s trauma from dying multiple times only makes them more vulnerable, and the gang takes advantage of that vulnerability, keeping them close at all times. They’ve already lost the reader too many times—they won’t let it happen again.

My rating (1-10): I’d give it a 6, maybe. Which is to say that I enjoyed it A LOT but also I have just like. A Few Critiques. Just one or two.

My favourite character: ADELLE!! There is no contest here at all I loveee her

My least favourite character: Okay, this used to be super easy because I really hated Topher at first, but I have grown to tolerate him so. I mean I hate like almost all the clients and also Sierra’s handler, but you’re supposed to hate them so it’s not really specific to me, I guess. I’ll say Nolan though, for obvious reasons.

The character I think I'd be friends with: I think Ivy because I have friends that Ivy reminds me of heh

The character I think I won't hit off with: Maybe Ballard? He seems very serious I don’t know

My favourite episode/scene: EVERY SCENE WITH ADELLE. I’m kidding but only slightly. Uhh I really liked A Spy in the House of Love, though, and I think Echoes is pretty funny. Belonging has um. A LOT going on in it, but I will say I really liked Adelle in that one, too.

Whose clothing style I like best: Unfortunately, I’m legally obligated to say Topher because I dress exactly like him. It was slightly detrimental to my whole initial hating-him campaign that every time I saw him I went ‘ah I would wear that’

Times I watched it (and if I would again): Once! And I definitely would again; despite its flaws I do really like it and it’s not super long either. Plus Adelle.

My favourite character: UHHH HARD tie between Emily and Victoria. I do also really like Amanda so I don’t know.

My least favourite character: It’s been a hot second since I’ve watched this, so no one’s really jumping out to me. I will say though that I somehow forget that Jack exists half the time. I really don’t know how I manage that when he’s kind of a Main Guy, but it’s still a little surprise every time he shows up. This doesn’t even happen to Declan, just to him.

The character I think I'd be friends with: I’m not saying Ashley is normal, per se, but I am saying she’s MOSTLY normal. I feel like we could hang out and chat while I was blissfully unaware of any scheming.

The character I think I won't hit off with: I have a weird soft spot in my heart for Tyler but we most certainly would not be friends

My favourite episode/scene: SHOOT. Okay, I liked the party where it all came full circle to the beginning, and I feel like there were some really good twists, but I really like the scene where Amanda dies (which is stupid because I love Amanda but). Also I know this is SUCH a small thing, but for some reason that group shot of the Grayson’s after Victoria kills Helen means everything to me. It’s so silly, but I love it so much.

Times I watched it (and if I would again): I have a confession to make guys, I actually have not finished it yet 😔. • ok i know it would be so easy to say that annie and finnick are bridgette and geoff cos they’re beachy surfers obsessed with pda, but that’s so predictable. also i don’t even think they’re that big on pda. also duncan and courtney are literally peak so i think that’s why i feel so strongly about this, but like, finnick is so obviously courtney coded. like being so people please-y and diplomatic on the surface but then lowkey being a type a control freak as the game goes on and then annie is there being a rebel without a cause and it rubs of on him. like at the end of the day duncan and courtney are the same ppl but different font and i think that works very well with odesta. also i love bridgette and geoff but oh my god those mfs don’t argue. not like i imagine odesta to argue

• ok enough about odesta. lets talk about everlark. i know this is so basic but katniss needs to be gwen like god INTENDED. like this antisocial little weirdo (gwen) who has a heart of gold and everyone knows it but her. s1 gwen/trent was so sappy and corny and normal up until The Kiss and love me hate me say what u want about me but i liked it. like wayyy more than duncan and gwen bc that ship is just like “what if a boy and girl got together” like they weren’t similar at all they just both wore black. anyway i love black cat and golden retriever pairings and that is so everlark to me. peeta literally would carry a boulder for katniss

• this works especially well bc (and i know im jumping ahead in the series lore) cato is so alejandro. and tyler is so marvel. i don’t personally ship them that much but i know its definitely a Thing so it works out nicely

• beetee is harold 😭😭 the main total drama cast is so huge that’s it’d be kinda impossible to keep the characters within a similar age range but i’m kinda obsessed with Teenager Beetee. he would so commit voter fraud

• also i know it’s basic to say that johanna would be eva but like. eva literally allied with a fucking nerd she hated the fuck outta and some certified weirdo no one rlly fucked w. that’s so cf-core

honestly i don’t have as many thoughts on this as i thought. for some reason i don’t personally like having snow in more modern au things, so i think chris mcclean would still be chris mcclean. that’s the only thing that stays the same it’s still s1 of total drama island so its not a crossover chris mcclean just transcends fandom spaces. haymitch can def be chef hatchet tho
