LIMEYYYY, thank you sm for this ask!! I actually haven't gotten into detail w/ these dorks yet... 😳 Guess the day is today to talk about them!

For reference, there's two versions of this ship now, so I'll go over both of them! Starting with Night Guard SI.

Lowkey inspired by the wonderful fic, Solar Lunacy ( @bamsara ), River is a struggling, would-be artist who needed some cash. Turns out, local Pizzaplex is looking for a nightguard, they pay stupid-well, and the wacky hours... Well, suppose they've done worse than a funky sleep schedule, right?

Turns out, that high price was for a reason. Chaos abound, Sun's odd attitude, Moon's..............himself, and the rest of the crew. It's a lot, but also... Whatever. Local fan/nerd of AI is delighted to be surrounded by such smart machines and treats them as people unthinkingly. (But also a little thinking-ly, because they believe in that kinda thing. Don't think too hard about the times they've talked to themself or inanimate objects, though...)

On a sidenote, they're closest to Freddy. (Perhaps, predictably, given his oddly fatherly nature.) Chica wormed her way in there by force, Roxanne is cool (and she pretends so hard that she isn't touched by that), and Monty... Is Monty; respectable distance given.

To give better details, tho-!!

.: First Meeting :.

River started working in the daytime to first meet Sun. Essentially settling them in with the "better" half to the duo...with the hope of avoiding the other entirely, given how much of a menace [and beyond] he could be.

For better or worse, River and Sun get mutually attached. And it sort of rubs off on Moon, with a pinch of them refusing to simply give up on him or stay afraid. (For their own good, far as he's concerned.) Buuut it helps that they're horribly oblivious- in every way that matters- and stubborn to boot.

Perhaps the only downside to the relationship is Moon pushing them to sleep is...a not unfounded ask; River is terrible at having a consistent bedtime, even with the busywork the Pizzaplex passes down. Even with the drama of the animatronics around them. If anything, the exhaustion goes up, the fussing of the Daycare Attendant rockets up ever skyward. Perhaps, ironically, all things considered.

.: Methods / Habits of Comforting :.

☀️ Sun being the energetic one, his methods of comfort mean rarely slowing down unless the situation truly calls for it. (And even then, bouncing in place enough to count it as stimming behavior.) He likes to tease, play games, and generally try to get River to relax via... I guess you could say "childish" methods, but definitely aren't unfounded ideas, either.

They've started bringing their mobile console (totally not the Switch) to work sometimes- when active service hours are out and the lights will be on for a portion of the night- and Sun LOVES seeing their video game progress! Their village in one game delights him, and the pocket monster game... They both have too much fun with that one. Sun pets the lil guys sometimes, while River watches. (He doesn't wanna play battles, though. The idea of them fainting concerns him. Too much pressure!)

Is also the main 'bot to ensure River eats, and does so in a somewhat healthy way, for what little the Pizzaplex can offer.

🌙 Moon, on the other hand, is a lot more quiet with his comforts. A lot of comforts from his side involve relaxation, sleeping/naps, quiet time, and parallel play (typically with him lurking over River's shoulder in some way).

In the beginning, "parallel play" is a BIG thing for Moon. Kinda like a feral cat, he's content at keeping his distance and assisting where need be. Making sure they don't get hurt on the job. Maybe scurrying off and dropping treats into River's path/on their head. They're vending machine snacks. They can't really complain; food is food. Water or other drinks (commonly Fizzy Faz) are left on any table or flat surface Moon can find.

Later on, after he's able to relax some and become the naptime 'bot again, River starts trusting him more to be asleep around. They take a long time to fall asleep, so Moon immediately started finding ways to aid their naps or sleepovers; finding preferred plushies in the Plex, needling River into bringing/buying blankets to bring over, setting up a hammock, etc.

It's actually this kind of motivation that actually makes their private room get decorated quite a bit before the Pizzaplex goes up in flames... (And yet, he ensures the fires don't get to that stuff. Almost gains extra damage because of it; Sun and Moon are dedicated to protecting it.)

Post-Pizzaplex burning, Moon rebuilds the "cozy nest" in River's apartment. They get put in "time out" there whenever they get overworked, are overly stressed, and so on. Along with the addition of Moon nabbing their candles and comfort items to put in there...if he can get away with it.

...They do have a small, moon phases blanket that's a major comfort item, and that typically stays in the main bedroom. (Secondary room was more of an office/workspace, but Sun/Moon command it later on.) Moon lowkey preens over that information.

Sun, on the other hand, is just glad to be here. However, he does take every opportunity to mother hen all he wants now that he gets to personally see into the life River leads. (Which is about what he expected, if a little worse. Honestly! Why wait so long to throw away trash?! "When I get up next," do it sooner!! Messy, messy!)

And then... There's my animatronic SI! Currently nicknamed "Dancer" for lack of a name idea.

Made for Sun/Moon, it was management's hope that they would be able to keep the two in line. For Sun, less stress and ability to give kids more even attention with a companion. For Moon, to keep him in check and prevent (harm) any danger to the restless kids during naptime.

Their base comes from Ballora; essentially the ballerina has been remade into a playful, breezy assistant! A flowing gown, gentle elf ears, and peaceful, closed eyes. Even their body is padded, to aid in comfort when holding or carrying kids.

Much like Moon, they have a music box in their chest, and often dance while it goes off.

Although they are overall a pleasant addition and Sun adores them (Moon has complicated feelings), Dancer has, occasionally, been a problem for management. Hair sometimes catching on their joints and causing chaos. Paint getting on their hair. The occasional malfunction, as well. (Much to Sun's panic.)

On that note, though, Dancer and Sun/Moon rather balance each other out! Where Sun gets stressed, Dancer is able to soothe him into peace. Even Moon, who has complicated feelings for the assistant (to this assistant), appreciates their company. He's hesitant to ever admit it, but he likes their singing voice. (Sun, however, would admit that in an instant.)

being with kaminari denki is electrifying. no pun intended. 

life before you met him was somehow bland, boring and simply lifeless. he's this unstoppable force that burst itself into your life and there was nothing you could do to stop it. it's not like you wanted to, after all everything is fun ever since you met kaminari.

he liked dragging you into his many shenanigans that always gets you two into trouble and always ending up with aizawa glowering down on you two. he even threatened to call your parents at one point but kaminari managed to talk your way out of it. to this day, you still couldn't believe how you both got out of that mess.

he may not be the smartest of the bunch but he sure as hell knew how to make you happy. you swear sometimes you think he's your soulmate. sure, he's probably far from what you imagined what your soulmate would be like but you wouldn't have it any other way. 

he always greets you with a friendly and bright smile when you see each other in public. asks you how you are doing when he notices you alone by yourself and offering you his own company even if it means he's exchanging it for hanging out with his friends. he even introduced you to them and before you knew it, you're part of their rowdy gang that often gets themselves into trouble all the time. 

amidst the craziness and fast paced lifestyle that kaminari is living, sometimes he just likes to chill and hangout. he'd plug in his phone and play the playlist the two of you compiled that is composed of all of the bops that you both loved. most of them were memes but others are just seriously too good not to listen to again. 

“may i have this dance?” he asked in his worst british accent he can muster, hand thrust forward towards you who is currently sitting on the floor as you read a manga. 

“of course, my good sir.” it was like clockwork how you play along with his antics. standing up, you grabbed his hand as he helped you to your feet. 

at first you both swayed side to side softly, hands clasped as you stared at each other with unhidden emotions swirling and encasing both your eyes. then it ended with the two of you just jumping around in your room and singing into your hairbrushes to the top of your lungs. 

“TELL ME WHY!” you sang, hand reaching it to kaminari dramatically.

“AIN'T NOTHIN' BUT A HEARTACHE!” kaminari supplied, matched with him kneeling on the floor with his other arm clutching his chest as with his eyes closed.

“TEEEELL ME WHY” 

“AIN'T NOTHIN' BUT A MISTAAAAKE”

“TELL ME WHY I NEVER WANNA HEAR YOU SAY,” you both looked at each other before singing in unison, “I WANT IT THAT WAAAY”

your jam sessions (as kaminari called it) usually lasts up until midnight and it would end up with the both of you getting noise complaints as many people are already asleep at that time and aren't too happy to hear backstreet boys blasted in the middle of the night. after the loud singing or more like yelling, and jumping around in your room, you'd both pass out asleep and wake up late for your classes. 

this has been a routine for the two of you after a stressful week. he'd visit you at your dorm room, and you'd visit him at his. it's like you can both read each other's thoughts and have telepathic connection. kirishima had called it creepy one day, but you both told him that it's because you're soulmates that's why you understand each other too well. 

it was just a joke to you, but kaminari found himself blushing and stuttering, heart beating wildly whenever he's with you on his end. he liked to believe you are his soulmate, it makes him feel good saying it. 

one hellish week after an exam, kaminari immediately sensed that you'd beaten yourself up with the weeks prior to the dreadful day. he hasn't seen you since and you've been cramming, holing up yourself in your room to study without distractions. that includes him. now that exams are over, he took it upon himself to help his favorite person unwind and make them feel better. 

now here you were, at your favorite restaurant. kaminari can only look at you with a frown as you still haven't touched your food. you stared blankly at your food as you poked it with a fork, seemingly lifeless. you haven't spoken since the two of you got there. 

the restaurant was pretty quiet, save for the music playing in the speakers. that's when kaminari thought of a wicked idea. a mischievous smirk stretched across his face as he looked at you, nudging your foot with his own.

“what?” you mumbled, looking up from your food. 

“may i have the pleasure of dancing with you?” he had a silly smile on his face as he kneeled in front of you. you immediately looked around, afraid that people might took the wrong idea but none of them were looking in your way. 

“come on, i know how much you love this song.” he tempted, wiggling his eyebrows at you.

“here? right now?” still unsure, your eyes roamed to and fro around the restaurant. it might be embarrassing but if he's gonna do it with you…

“alright. yes, you may have the honor of dancing with me, mr. kaminari.” you both bowed first before he took you to the center of the restaurant, hand on your waist and the other on your hand. 

you were still a bit hesitant to dance with him in a place like this but soon, you found yourself loosening and swaying along to the beat and before you realized, the two of you are lost in your own world. 

“you are crazy, denki.” you fondly murmured, so only he could hear. 

“for you? yeah, i am.” he coolly retorted, smirking down at you with a smug expression that earned an eye roll from you.

dancing with kaminari in a restaurant full of people ogling the two of you weirdly isn't what you expected you would spend the end of your exams, but then again, with kaminari when did you expect things? he has always proved himself to be full of surprises.

Elo walked into the kitchen at 23 Acacia Ave, letting herself in through the double-glazed back door. The man sitting at the table glanced up from where he was doing a crossword puzzle. "Good evening, Elowyn," he said, putting down the pen and standing to flick the kettle on. "How was work?" Elo tossed her peaked cap onto the table, flicked open the brass buttons on her police uniform and peeled herself out of the blazer to dump it on the back of a chair. She leant against the chair for a moment, letting her head hang. "Yes. Hi. Sorry, Martin," she gave him a tired smile. "It was..." "A day?" "And a half," she added with a heavy exhalation.

"Tea?" "God, yes please." She ran her hands over her shoulders, working out the kinks. "What do you feel like?" "Honestly? A pint of vodka." Martin turned, his brown hair swaying gently, as he looked away from the cupboard with all their teas. "Elowyn?" he asked, his tone worried. She screwed her eyes closed. "I'm not... I'm not gonna. I just." She shook her head. "Goddamn, it was A Day. We got our funding cut again. That programme I worked so hard to get going – the one with the drug counsellors for teens? – I can't afford it any more. I'm gonna have to let them go." She passed a wearied hand over her face. "Oh, Elowyn. I'm so sorry," he said. "If there's anything I can do, you will tell me?" "Thank you. Yes. Can we talk about it tomorrow? I'm way too tired to think right now." Martin hummed his agreement and turned back to the cupboard, riffling the boxes and jars of teas. "I think you could do with some Ginger..." he murmured, selecting the correct jar and setting about preparing the brew. Elo tucked herself into the chair while he bustled around. "How was your day?" Elo asked, pulling out her phone, setting it to silent and deliberately putting it face down on the table. "I'm still not allowed in the office for long stints, so after I met with the Canterbury Diocese, I spent most of my afternoon helping Mrs Higgins weed the garden." Martin leant back against the counter, glancing out of the back window as he played with his dog collar. "I think we shall have a very healthy crop of vegetables come summer." "Oh that would be amazing," Elo said as the kettle came to a boil. Martin placed a steaming cup of Ginger and Honey tea in front of her, taking his cup of Roobios back to his seat. She aimed a grin at him. "You haven't lived until you've tried Mrs Higgins' ratatouille. She puts so much garlic in it. So much. It's incredible." Martin smiled back. "I very much look forward to it." Elo looked around. "Where's Baurus?" she asked, wincing at how long it had taken her to notice the absence of Martin's ever-present shadow. Not that anyone could blame the American, not after what happened in February... "He's in the study, checking in with Jauffre." The two settled into a companionable silence then, with Martin serenely going back to his crossword and Elo filling her head with the scent of the tea, instead of work thoughts.

Their companionable silence was shattered when the front door swung open with a crash, the sound of loud voices spilling in. "I'm telling you," came a high lilting voice, "sharing is caring! Now give me the hoodie!" "Nope!" came a more masculine voice. "It's my official hoodie. I can't just go letting waifs and strays like you cop a-hold of it!" Elowyn and Martin winced at the same time. "Snotgrut! Do not slam the nieking door!" Elo bellowed. "Aderyn, stop antagonizing the Police, please!" Martin called with a roll of the eyes. "He's not gonna be Police if he keeps this up much longer," Elo grumbled, and Martin shot her a smile as the two came tumbling into the kitchen. "Hi Aunty 'Lo," Aderyn said, pressing a kiss to Elo's cheek. "I'm younger than you are," Elo said, tilting her face to accept the kiss anyway, her tone gruff despite the smile threatening to twitch into existence. "Still my Aunty though," Aderyn sing-songed at her. Elo rolled her eyes as the sprightly auburn-haired girl jumped up to sit on a counter. "Yes," she replied. "Don't sit on the worktop!" "What's for dinner, Uncle Martin?" Snotgrut said. Martin laughed. "I swear you two live in a constant state of hunger. It's shepherd's pie." There was a beat of silence as the two women and Snotgrut glanced at each other. Martin sighed. "Don't worry, Baurus made it." The two rambunctious members gave a cheer, and Elo laughed.

They chatted a while longer when the doorbell went. Feet pounded down the stairs. "I've got it!" Baurus yelled. The door was indeed got, and Elo listened as Baurus' bayou-drawl mingled with a sharp London twang, warm nordic tones, and the friendly rolling accent of Yorkshire. She sat up straight. "Wait. I'd know that voice anywhere. What's Farren doing here?" she asked, her tone worried. Martin gave her a curious frown. "Have you forgotten what day it is?" he asked. "No... It's," Elo looked at her watch, "Thursday?" Martin gave her a gentle smile. "It's the monthly 'let's see how many people we can squeeze around the dining table' day." "... Oh." Baurus swept into the kitchen with Enisa, Kashton and Farren cramming themselves in behind him. "Aderyn, get off the counter," the American said, crossing over to Martin. He bent down, as Martin tipped his head back to share a kiss. "How's Jauffre?" Elo asked once they were done. "Still thinking of ways to get you into the private sector," Baurus told her. From the doorway, Farren snorted. "Never gonna happen, is it Bug?" "Aye," said Snotgrut from where he leant on the counter next to Aderyn. "After all, where else is she going to find such prime specimens to work with?" The little man aimed a wink at Farren. Elo laughed. "I'm gonna fire the both of you and promote Adalhard," she joked. "I don't get no back-chat from her." Snotgrut responded by sticking out his tongue with a grin. Baurus clapped his hands. "Right, it is lovely to have you all," he said, "but I gotta ask y'all to get outta my kitchen!" Chatter stilled, as Elo raised her eyebrows. "Listen, honey," Baurus said to her. "While I'm cooking in it, it's my kitchen. Unless you fancy making dinner for this horde?" Fighting a grin, Elo promptly stood up. "My cup of tea and I are going upstairs to change," she announced with a prim tone. "Aderyn, you're on table-laying duty-" "Aww what? I did it last time." "Then don't sit on the counter!" came a chorus of voices. Snotgrut giggled, as Aderyn's shoulder drooped. "Fine," she whined. "Snotgrut, you're helping her," Elo said. He just shrugged and nodded. "Kas," Elo continued, "you're on drinks duty. Farren: you, Adalhard, and I are on washing up and putting away." Martin leant back to look up at Baurus, his arm slung over the back of his chair to hug the American by the waist. "Is there anything you need help with, Darling?" he asked. "Naw, I'm good," Baurus said. "I've only got a few last-minute things to whip-up." "I don't mind carrying things to the table if you want," Enisa piped up. Baurus nodded to her, then shared a look with Elo. "Actually, Padre, I've got a very important task for you," Elo said, failing to suppress a smile. "Oh?" "Mm. Your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to sit in front of the fire and play with the cats. Aurianna and Ardyss need some attention before dinner." It took a moment, but then Martin tipped his head back, letting out a loud guffaw. "I do believe you're all coddling me," he said. "But yes. Of course. Can't have the kitties starved of attention." "Excellent. I'll be down in a tick to help with the table," Elo said, and squeezed out of the kitchen as everyone went about their allotted tasks.

yeah i cant believe it actually happened either but when they found out what average i got and that'd me the 2nd per whole in the class they started to stop talking to me and laugh quietly whenever i came up to talk with them - until i gave up and i heard 2 of them talking shit abt me and it just blew me off bc i really did not expect some good grades to make them like this.. so yeah ure probably right they were never in for this friendship ; one of them was my deskmate and hopefully by next year i won't have to sit with her anymore.
