there are headcanons i'd like to share but they're either too personal or too uh. idk what to call them but i would have to use a trigger warning a lot and i don't want that. i don't wanna include that here- (but just a note, if i ever post human DJ Yellow drawings, i am not putting a tw for his scars as they are healed. that's all)

So i saw a post (and rb it) that mentioned people being upset the movie wasn’t about miku.

Ah yes a film based on a video game with 20 main cast members wont be about miku.

Really though, its probably gonna be about the prsk cast helping find and convince the old sekai owners to listen to miku or something.

I wouldnt be surprised if she didnt have a lot of screen time and the movie focuses on the main cast more.

That and i honestly couldnt care less if ichika takes up 80% of the movie—itd be a bad choice on their part for the fans, but as long as they make a good story at the end of the day i dont really care who it focuses on.

Yes Miku is big in advertisements and does have significant story influence but the game has never fully focused on the vocaloids (they may have events but thats still not very often)

It may suck if you only like prsk for the vocaloids/miku or you prefer them, but its not unreasonable for the movie about the 20 original characters featuring: vocaloids

Also (disclaimer) i have no clue if its even been said that she wont be a main focus

considering the plot i highly doubt we’ll lack screen time with her, so in reality while it might not have 80-90% of the movie focus on miku, its likely a good 20-30% of the movie will.

Tldr: miku not being the focus isn’t surprising considering the games main focus is the 20 original cast members, but she still could play a big part in the movie

she wears skirts and tights even when it’s cold out but she does have her limits. If it’s seriously painfully cold and she has no choice but to be outside she will absolutely abandon being fashionable for the sake of not freezing to death

ohhh my sweet girls, my precious girls, what did they Do to you.

the blue looks So bad on them. it clashes with minori and airi and feels too samey with shizu and haru. i like their shoes, tho, and i like how airi keeps her trend of her outfit straying just a little bit from the norm.

these outfits just feel so boring and lifeless, compared to their og ones that had a lot more personality and a lot more charm. i dont think the dresses themselves are ugly, in fact i find them quite pretty, but i dont think they suit the girls very well.

also what the fuck is miku wearing lmao (i like her hairstyle tho)

i really like their new outfits!! the girls look and feel older. im not really vibing with the shade of gray used tho, i wish their uniforms were black or white or a different shade of gray. i also love the pins and buttons on mikus jacket (i actually prefer the shade of gray on the jacket why couldnt the leoneeders be dressed in that shade)

i like vbs, sure, but they’ve always been the group that has piqued my interest the least. and ive never been super keen on the designs of the characters

but these designs??? i really like them. a lot. it feels like the kids are really coming into their own, with kohane and toya finding their personal styles, akito refining his, and an paying homage to nagi in hers. they’re becoming the young adult creators and musicians that they’re striving to be. i can really see vbs’s growth in their new designs, and i hope that i can grow to really love them and their story : D

Like literally if someone is mad at tanjiro or something like that one scene in season 3 where genya is just being grumpy but tanjiro uses his best boi eyes and makes genya literally stunned lol. But tanjiro would also be also comforting and caring to miles because like just imagine if miles was sad and stuff but tanjiro is like "nuh uh!" And comforts him LIKE HHSHSHSHS!! Even in the anime he's caring and super kind,super light hearted,very pure like hes just a happy fella and i think miles needs a postive friend like tanjiro cuz if yall watched itsv and atsv...yk what poor miles had to go through bro😭

So I haven’t really written publicly about this aside from a silly “On todays episode of Clover: The Soap Opera”, but I’ll still share the behind the scenes of the YuNeva “Soul Cheating AU”! (She didn’t actual cheat on him, its just a joke 😁!)

Me and my mutuals @thoughtfullyrainynightmare and @loosesodamarble were talking about how the Next Gen’s discovered their magics and when I said how Miku discovered hers it suddenly dawned on me…

Both Miku and Kya got their wind magic from the Elf Soul and not Yuno, since the Elf Soul is the one with wind magic while Yuno has Star Magic. (In my defense, I made the YuNeva kids right before it was revealed that Yuno had Star Magic. So…i never added or changed anything 😆)

And from there on an entire scenario began being played out between me and Laura and Erika and it is…chaotic to say the least.

Is there a fic about it? Yes. Have I posted it? No. Will I? Maybe 👀🤔.

But thats the “Directors Commentary” on that AU and how it was born XD!

Ok i have to say it bc i saw a post about how realistic vocal synths are missing some point about how vocal synths should sound less humans because thats how they always sounded. also even seeing comments very very much misunderstanding what an AI voice bank is in the context of something like Synthesizer V.

If you're not in the vocsynth community you probably don't see any discussion at all over the general consensus people have come to regarding AI voices, and also in general how long time producers who grew with Vocaloid see them too. For one- AI voices are not at all like your AI art, or even those AI programs that mimic character voices. AI voices in a synth are made with a voice provider who completely consents to recording and it paid for their work. They consent to be an instrument, and thats what vocal synths are (mind yourself in how you humanize vocal synths.... they are instruments.)

AI voices and non-AI voices are hardly at conflict with each other in terms of choice... there is a massive userbase of producers who use vocaloid. Why? well, vocaloid has its following. vocsynth became popular because of vocaloid. producers use vocaloid still because its popular. in addition to that we have companies liek Crypton who seem to know full well they shouldnt aim to make a realistic miku- look at their attempts with miku NT, as she is very akin to her V2 voice. (lets ignore that they havent been updating NT right now)

AI voices that get made for existing characters should be seen as an alternative instrument, a entirely different option for its specific strengths. V Flower and Ci Flower are quite different. Neither is worse than the other, they are just very different instruments and if you follow Flower artists you would find that those using Flower for a long time haven't switched to Ci Flower because its not about whether she's "better" for being AI.... its because those artists use V Flower for her robotic sound and her tone. Artists know what they want. And they won't put down older voices even if some think AI is better. On the other hand there are many picking up Ci Flower because they never licked Flower's robotic voice and her strong tone! It works for a variety of people.

You have to remember vocal synths are an instruments and have been incredibly not profitable especially in the western side. AI voices are majorly and almost purely being advirtized to professionals, and "normal" music people are starting to catch on. Eclipse Sounds has really been breaking through, appeared at NAMM, is being discussed heavily on normal music producers forums with lots of positive feedback and more people actually buying these things. Producers were turned off by eastern vocal synths with their characters and anime focused fan bases. sorry, but the middle aged man in hollywood making music isn't finding hatsune miku that appealing, thats just how it is. and its also again, that companies were not making money. and its why the western voices we wanted to see (english speaking voices) were not happening.

There are two sides to the vocal synth scene that people not in it need to recognize-- AI and non-AI aren't fighting popularity. There is actually a much bigger scene for Vocaloid and there always will be. Vocaloid was a breakthrough, and people love it for its characters. There will always be people using Vocaloid because of its characters and its specific sound! And there is nothing bad about AI voices.It is an incredible technological feat to see how human these voices are becoming. Seeing the machine voice come to life. It is all equal and as a long time vocal synth user it should be welcomed. Yes, there are many in the community who really dont like the AI voices, but the opinion should not be lead with some misunderstanding that we are losing the old ones, and that people are only going to move to the new ones. People who are neutral and use old ones know full well there is always going to be a scene for the old. This is not the scary and dehumanizing "AI" that we see online, please don't get it mixed up.

mitsu is a program, specifically an install wizard, who comes from a got damn roblox game, databrawl, because me and aiden have illnesses about it. mitsu is specifically the install wizard of Hatsune Fucking Miku. they will let you know this. yes, they act like a wizard and cast spells and shit!! pretty cool or whatever mitsu is a bitch mitsu uses they/he/it pronouns. if you misgender them they WILL fucking kill you. they'll fucking kill you over anything they just want to kill. mitsu specifically likes killing this one guy, linker, which aiden can tell you FREAKS about.

mitsu has a few notable aus, such as their human au, where they work at a mcdonalds and are somewhat friendly with their 'rival' linker. they live together after all. and their object au. we turned him into a floppy disk. he cannot go near magnets for too long or he will feel his atoms being torn apart and thats not great

original au mitsu sounds like cirno (which of MANY voice actresses of cirno is up to you, personally its either chirumiru or scarlet police cirno) but all other mitsus are voiced by me, neptune.

Dont inquire about his lab or why is he collecting body parts from varia's victims, haha, dont even worry about it, just a little DIY project, dont think about it too much haha--- what no it has nothing to do with creating all sorts of fucked up things, where did you get that idea, thats silly, what im saying is that if you combined enough good body parts and combined them into one indestructible, restless soldier--- no no why are you throwing up on the floor, thats not very nice--

games? -> they exist! most are attached to crypton, who made the world famous virtual idol miku. usually the first one people know and the most recognizable. my grandma could recognize her (my mom can recognize len really easily cuz he’s my fave) (see my profile pic, at least at the time of posting this)
