Stsg stocked up on candy bars and sugary stuff and suguru also bought these cool cups (with lids so nothing spills everywhere cough satoru)

— OFC MATCHING PJS WE ARE IN MATCHING ONESIES!! satoru in a blue dinosaur onesie (it has a tail yes he does swing around extra hard just to hit you with it) me and suguru both wanted yellow so i got pink instead 🤨🤨 and they all have little hoods with dinosaur teeth and tails with spikes on them (the ones on mine are rounder) and little claws on the feet part teehee

— (🤨) WE ARE IN A BLANKET/PILLOW FORT SO WE’RE LAYING DOWN. suguru on the left and then me in the middle and satoru on the right, a typical position where we’re laying on our stomachs :333 suguru switches between having his head propped up in his hands or leaning his head against mine, i am LOCKED INNN so unless satoru is being distracting then I’m usually just focused on the movie (and getting laughed at when i get scared 💔) and satoru is….either like suguru but leaning a head on my shoulder or he’s laying upside on his back 😭 SOMETIMES!! like after we pause for a bathroom break he will lay in the middle :33 and then puts an arm around and suguru to cover our eyes (“””so we won’t be scared”””🌚) if suguru lays in the middle then he’s usually sitting up while me and satoru have our heads on his shoulder 😽 and he just leans against one of us doesn’t matter who

— BLANKET FORT IN THE LIVING ROOM 😼😼 it is HUGE it takes up half the room 😭 LOTS of pillows and blankets and they also insisted i decorate it with my plethora of stuffed animals so lots of little friends in there too :333 we all have an assigned stuffie to cuddle ehehe (even though satoru keeps trying to steal + hoard ours smh) satoru also….bought lots of new pillows and blankets and sheets so now we just have extras stuffed in a closet <<//33 those are our Blanket Fort Supplies and we only bring them out on movie night when we’re making a giant fort :3333

— YES OF COURSE WE ARE CUDDLING‼️ sometimes satoru gets clingy (and scared) so he is superglued to the side of whoever he’s laying next to HFJDKS if he’s in the middle then he loves being Squished <<333 he’s kicking his legs up (and trying to start games of footsie🤨) ++ ITS PROBABLY A TIE BETWEEN ME AND SATORU ON WHO GETS SCARED MOST!! suguru startles a little less easily (so yes me and satoru do poke fun every time we notice okay it builds character and it’s rare) i am the assigned scaredy cat of the group but that’s only because Satoru is better at hiding his fear 😞 he can laugh it off and joke it off even when it is blatantly obvious and he stares right into the screen even if he’s Extremely Scared because “I’M NOT A BITCH” (– satoru) but I’m hiding behind my fingers and plushie a lot so Scaredy Cat title goes to me 😞

11. Which punctuation marks are you convinced are in love with each other? And are there some that are just boning on the dl?

MAybe?? what i'd call "rythm punctuation" in my head when i'm writing ( - or , or .) At least in this situation they're a very exclusive club which despises longer punctuations slowing down the rythm (; or ...). The more I'm thinking about this the crazier I'm gonna sound, BUT they're the ones that make the flow of writing as I work on it (yes. i have favorites. what about it)

17. Do you still feel slightly robbed that a 'thesaurus' is not in fact a dinosaur?

I don't ! The word always seemed like something found in a dusty old dark library. Maybe a forbidden treasure of knowledge.

Then again, i was never very big on dinosaurs so that could explain it

33. Provide a defence of mixed metaphors NOW

Okay first of all, easy : humor. It's a really easy way to diffuse tension and/or add some fun in the dialogues. Secondly, mixed metaphors do confuse the reader for a second which gives us two things : they stop in their reading (if only for a moment) so this is a nice way to add rythm, and secondly, it's a great way to either say something about a character.

A mixed metaphor used in a character's PoV or in dialogue tells us a lot about their mental state (either humorous, confused, panicked, or just a little dumb) and it's a fun way to show it without too much exposition ! As all things I think it's just an affair of how you use them.

Alright here we gooo

2) overall worst season

OH BOY WHERE DO I START. Ok i think s15 is a very easy answer to this and it is the objective answer but the show being burdened by corona and if I'm not wrong, number of new writers, i cannot take it seriously. However for me, very personally s12 was the most unwatchable one. Like yes s13 is also wretched with all the fucking dinosaurs and just overall terrible everything but i got more soft spot for it. S12 does not land on his feet because i think the writers in that very specific season forgot how to write Sam & Dean's dynamic & this entire show has its golden moments because of them so if you mess that up you lose everything . Plus i think bmol were worst than dinosaurs & empty & apocalyptic world & dean/lucifer mid air fight. The only unexpectedly amazing scene there was Dean's speech in Mary's head and if it wasn't for that, i'd find a way to wipe this season from face of the universe.

9) best season finale

CAN I EVER GIVE A STRAIGHT ANSWER? NO. i am always very very torn betwen ahbl and swan song. I think both are unforgettable masterpieces and both hold different values to me. I often end up voting for swan song myself bc it felt like SUCH a conclusion to a big story. And because of the "Impala Story" that literally ruined me but there's something about Swan Song that was very overall perfect.

With ahbl i dare to say, it holds probably some of my favorite moments in the entire tv show history. The same way swan song was the conclusion to the story, ahbl was a conclusion to a very emotional build up that blew me away. I think story-wise tho the second part especially was less impactful for me. In the entirety of the episode it"s the beginning aka. Dean's speech and the ending witj Sam's "did i die dean?" THOSE where the ones that stayed with me. Much more than the whole deal with closing the hell's gate. So when i rewatch i'm watching thes3 selected scenes: Sam's death, dean selling his soul & them facing this decision at the end. It was life altering for me but swan song as an episode on a whole level remained more with me.

Then there's also Sacrifice. That finale remains the best episode ever after Kripke. I can't put above the other two but it also is so amazing on every single level that i cannot NOT mention it

12) favorite sam season

I love sam in every episode and every season but if i gotta pick, I think sam in s5 is my upmost favorite one bc of how beaten and ruined he is. I can go forever and ever peeling off layers of his self hatred, self doubts, wish to grow, to make up for everything, all leading to his big sacrifice. This makes my heart ache over and over and over. And after that it would be s10, i love when is just fucking unhinged doing messiest thing, trial era and s9 just because he is so fucking pretty in s9. Prettiest malewife ever.

17) favorite villain

Without a shadow of doubt it would be Azazel for me. Everything about this character was perfect. The actor's delivery, the way he ruined lives, the danger he posed that i never felt the felt repeating in the series ever again.

Except for one.

See i love characters like Crowley and Lucifer (pre-Dabb especially) but i like them more as characters than villains, but beside Azazel there's one imo underrated villain that really fucked me up and it's Zachariah. I think there was something so vile about an angel being that manipulative and vicious. The scene in dark side of the moon with Mary still makes my skin crawl & i think just like Azazel's actor, this guy delivered every scene with such brilliant wretchedness that i cannot help but be in love with.

1. are you named after anyone? Yes, twice over! The Maggie part of my name comes from my mother’s grandmother, Margaret. There’s also a second part to my name I get from my father’s mother. (Fun fact, my brother’s got a name that’s been used for... I think four-five generations at this point KNTRKRTN The name I know my dad by is technically a middle name of his!)

2. when was the last time you cried? Oooofff... hmm. I think watching The end of Campaign 1 [TLOVM people do not click]. Especially the twins bit was my last really big cry. I teared up for TLOVM s2 eps 3 and 4 a lil, but that was just. full gross sobs. 

3. do you have kids? Nope! Cats don’t count. I am responsible for 40 corn snakes though :D

4. do you use sarcasm a lot? Oh, yes. 

5. what’s the first thing you notice about people? Hmmmmm I’m... not sure? Generally any big identifying features that aren’t eyes. So hair color, tats, silhouette. And even then I suck at identifying people, whoops.

6. what’s your eye color? Blue! They lean towards blue-grey most of the time, but as is the nature of Eyebols they can vary depending on lighting. Not very saturated blues usually, though - leaning slate, darker blue and even soft greenish sometimes. Another fun fact: neither of my parents have blue eyes, so I’m a fun lil recessive trait lucky shot in this way. 

7. scary movie or happy endings? Happy endings! I’m a huge coward and cannot watch scary stuff. 

8. any special talents? UHHHH writing a super massive longfic has got to count? I can draw decently good, and animate a lil if I have the time for it. wtf qualifies as a special talent uhhhh I know so much shit about dinosaurs you wouldn’t believe it? I apparently have a knack for experimental design, but we’ll see how that develops. I can belch very loud semi-on-command??!?

10. what are your hobbies? Writing, poking at worldbuilding/AUs and meta, drawing rarely, D&D [my lil lv1 D&D1E Cleric might die next session :D], listening to podcasts while I code data.

Thankfully my peers usually treated me like a charming class pet instead of bullying me for it, but over two decades in and doctors still haven’t figured out what the fuck is wrong so all physical activity is. eurg.

14. favorite subject in school? take a wild guess - science. Though I only got biology classes in CEGEP, given the pure and applied sciences stream meant taking chem and physics instead :C Drama ended up being a surprising favorite, too, I initially thought I was gonna hate it. Art class was mildly stressful needing to adhere to the deadlines and follow the instructions, but drama? Drama was a fucking blast

15. dream job? sighs wistfully,,,, an academic research position... with tenure... a nice lil lab all my own... easy NSERC grants to fund my research... likely working with birds or reptile cognition. ATM I’m still figuring out exactly what I want my specialty, my niche, to be, but in the moment I’m very interested in how visible phenotype [color and pattern] interacts with the neurobiology of an animal and thus its behavior. Really wanna keep looking at species whose cognition is really overlooked, or has been in the field for a long time. I’d love to work with crocodilians or varanids sometime, or chickens!

First of all, I AM, thank you for asking 🥹❤️ With the caveat that some of these are going to be long answers, not because I can communicate effectively but because of the over explaining leading to chattiness. Still yes love questions hit me.

Orchid - Excellent god damned question, and my mind immediately goes to "Black" by Pearl Jam because I grew up wearing out borrowed tapes in the grunge era from my brother, and Ten is an absolute masterpiece of an album with "Black" as it's magnum opus, but also maybe because I can sing it fairly well at karaoke; Also, "Can the Circle Be Unbroken" by the Carter Family ranks up there.

Mahonia - I mean I question how inspired I ever am anymore 😅😅 Im kind of a long expired gifted kid burnout. But sunsets always instill emotion in me, the night coming on makes me more in tune with it feeling like "my time" because it gets quieter/less busy. I mostly express it by scribbling in my notebook and venting feelings here.

Daffodil - I have two older brothers, my sister the oldest and a younger stepsister (I was the baby, at one point) I think I'm... similar to them in that we all were raised in the shadow of our father, who is a narcissist and abuser who left his mark on all of us, pushed one to murder, and kind of all of us to coping mechanisms. And I dunno. I worry. I fear that like. Of all of us, Im the most my fathers son because I LOOK the most like him, everyone tells me that. I have his exact same voice. I have his temper. His instincts for parenting occur to me sometimes and it frightens the shit out of me. I relate to my sister that way because she feels that too, and her raising my nieces can be a challenge. I worry about her too in that regard. And sometimes her version of our dad's narcissism, saying the things he would say or treating the kids the way he would kinda pisses me off. But in the end, Im not like most of them because for so long, I was treated like the disappointment, the failure to launch, but at least I didn't end up in prison so. I don't know, you tell me. Maybe we're all kinda screwups in our own way, or trying our best to get from under that. All in how you look at it, I suppose.

Camellia - Oh man, I was a weird little nerd that loved reading, loved comic books, loved energetically talking about dinosaurs and grew up loving Star Wars expanded universe novels so much that I grew my own pretend Skywalkersona, loved Mad magazines, Isaac Asimov novels in the fourth grade, loved writing superhero stories on loose paper written on an old typewriter, loved creating mini comic strips with my own superheroes and had no friends until late middle school in my isolated, ten acre house out in the country. I dunno, a lot of my adult years has been feeling like I've been dead inside because in a lot of ways it feels like I lost the ability to love things as passionately and with as much joy as that little boy; cause I was kicked out of that house when I was seventeen; because every friend I ever made left or was gone; and because my dad and the world all beat into me that those things that gave me joys and passions were stupid and childish. I have been trying to be kinder to myself now, and reconnect with things that make me happy even if it's hard to know how. Sorry, long, complicated answer. Life is hard.

Ivy - I've been told I can be kind of aloof, or awkward, but I don't think that's quite true. I think I have a hard time connecting. But when I can relax, and am able to let someone in, then they can tell easier when Im in a good mood, when Im feeling lower, when I get quiet.

Palm tree - I love all villains, because the villain is usually more interesting and has better motivations than the hero (or at least, more relatable, to me) but the one I shouldnt like, in retrospect, is Randall Flagg from the Dark Tower and the Stand series, not only because ugh, sorry Stephen, but older Stephen King books and especially the Dark Tower cycle contains some utterly cringey racist tropes and bad characterization and I dunno I just think maybe the books didnt age well.

Taro- Man. I was trying to think because in some senses... nothing, I am fucking boring, almost all of my life is just work and taking the bus home from working. But I mean. I've graduated from college and gotten my associates now. I've got a job with an office and my own business cards now. Im saving up to get a car. And even if living with my sister is occasionally a pain because it's triggering, or exhausting, or weird, we do get to go on some neat adventures and it is really amazing to see these three humans get to have cool experiences. So there can be like... a lot to talk about, in that.

Chamomile - Literally always socks, any type of book because I am both a hoarder of books with an unread pile three deep at any given time, and on the other hand a voracious reader and the genre can be literally anything, and. Coffee. Literally, give me so much coffee.

Six sea creatures for six jellyfish <33

Orcas!! I recently watched a documentary about them and I am a stan <33 They're incredibly smart and talented with how they hunt as a pod and each pod kind of has their own language and culture almost with hunting calls and their diets. They're so cool I love these murderous lil tuxedo friends

My first sea creature love, the giant pacific octopus!! First learned about her for a school project where we had to write a paper on an animal and I chose her and she's the reason I fell in love with the underwater world <33 She's smart and independent and so so pretty, look at the colour!!!

Marine iguanas of the Galapagos Islands!! Do they count as sea creatures? I'm gonna say yes, look at her!!! She's so ethereal the way she swims in the water. They're not really social creatures but when they're on land, they hang out together on rocks under the sun <33

Also from the Galapagos Islands, this is the whale shark!! I mean, they're kinda everywhere but this one specifically from the Galapagos lol. FUN FACT. Their spots are unique to each individual shark and can be used to identify them which is so cool to me! Also look how big they are!!! Fucking love giant marine creatures <33

This is the pacific angel shark <33 apparently I really love pacific creatures lol. She waits for prey and then ambush attacks them and she's so cool for it <33 And lives near rocky reefs and my favourite, kelp forests!!

Not technically a creature but I absolutely adore the kelp forest!! <33 Literally what else can I say, look at her. Her beauty, her grace. Don't you wanna just live there? I think I would genuinely be healed if I lived here

Three movies you have rewatched many times

1. Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron. I went through a phase when I was nine/ten where I’d rewatch this movie multiple times a week for… like a year 😅

2. Bolt. Underrated movie!! This was another one I looped when I was younger, and I tried writing a fanfic about it when I was eleven maybe but gave up after one page or something lol

3. The Good Dinosaur. Yet another one I looped when I was younger :) I saw this one in theaters too!!

I went through a major animation phase when I was 9-13. All these + How To Train Your Dragon were pretty much all I watched aksgaksgaksg

Three characters that inspire you

Ooh man, hmm…

1. Tommy (DSMP). This answer seems silly at first, but I’m always touched by how much and how hard he tries. He tries so hard to be good, and to help people, and to never give up on people, and it’s amazing. It’s rare that I find characters who are so, for lack of better words, good. He’s just a really good kid.

He also loves most everything he touches, and he loves hard. He loves so hard that it’s impossible to not see it, to not feel it, to not be changed by it, and that’s freaking powerful.

(I’m really having to Think about this question, because while I like a bunch of characters, I’m not often inspired by those characters)

2. Zelda (BOTW/TOTK). LOOK AT ME PICKING A CHARACTER FROM A VIDEO GAME!!! WOO!!!

If I had to describe Zelda in one word, I’d choose “selfless”. So, so selfless. It’s crazy.

The things she does for her kingdom and for Link and for the things she cares about is near-unmatched; she’ll do hard things for the good of others, and I mean really hard things. Heartbreaking, painful, scary things that I honestly probably wouldn’t do.

I think she’s really neat :) And I think I could learn a lot about being selfless from her.

1. The One And Only Ivan :D This is one of four stories that has ever made me tear up, and the only story that has ever made me cry. It’s just… ough. It’s beautiful and unique and it’s amazing it’s amazing it’s amazing I CANNOT tell you enough how amazing this book is oh my gosh-

AND FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING, DON’T FREAKING WATCH THE MOVIE! IT SUCKS! IT TOOK ALL THE THINGS THAT MADE THE BOOK UNIQUE AND GOT RID OF THEM AND THE RESULT IS AN INFURIATING PIECE OF MEDIA THAT DOES NOT DO THE BOOK JUSTICE! DON’T FREAKING WATCH THE MOVIE! READ THE BOOK!

2. What Beauty There Is by Cory Anderson. I read this one very recently, I think in December, and… wow. Absolutely stunning. Just… wow. It’s haunting—that’s probably the best word for it—and beautiful and deep and dark and tragic. It’s the sort of book that made me feel a bit heavier while I was reading.

(Also one of the four stories that has made me tear up sooooo)

There is a bit (not a lot at all) of swearing, and one scene that bordered the lines between PG-13 and something above PG-13; it was like… I don’t know, it’s kinda confusing. It was sort of sexual but nothing really ended up happening. It was more like an implication or a suggestion.

But other than those things, the book was fantastic and I highly highly recommend!!

3. THE ROAD BY CORMAC MCCARTHY!!! YES THIS DESERVES CAPS LOCK!!!

Gonna be perfectly honest here, I don’t like candles all that much. I just… eh. I don’t see the point. Not my thing.

no, but my full name is actually really pretty. its really uncommon as well, and i let a lot of compliments on it. i wish this wasnt the internet because if i could i would brag about my name all the time haha

When was the last time you cried?

just now, actually. i had my first therapy session ever and it was kinda scary, but my therapist was really kind and we didnt get into anything super triggering yet. she also had a squishmallow frog on her couch that i held the whole time, but there was a dino one on her desk and maybe next time i’ll ask if i can hold that one instead. i really like dinosaurs.

Do you have any kids?

nope, and i dont plan to. i dont think i could handle the pressure of raising a literal human being without fucking them up. i think i’ll just stick to babysitting instead

yes haha, but almost always in a joking setting. i try not to ever be sarcastic in a way that sounds rude, yk? i am very good at picking up sarcasm, however, and its really funny when i do. a lot of people seem mean and sarcastic when theyre actually just being funny and its a beautiful realization when that sinks in

their facial expressions. i notice the way their face moves, and how they react to stuff. its jsut interesting for me.

deeep deep brown (the best color). they look almost black. someone told me that when i look in the sun i get little sparkles and my eyes look like the night sky, and thats stuck with me for a while.
