RANT : this is DISGUSTING, NOBODY is talking about this so i will. 🍉

this is lesbiansnowwhite, they’re a tiktoker known for neopronouns/xenopronouns. they are FAR more well known on tiktok but i dont have tiktok, so this is from their insta.

they claim to support Gaza but their twisted idea of “support” is making “pronouns” BASED ON WHATS HAPPENING IN GAZA.

wtf is g3nocid3/g3nocid3s “pronouns” and who the FUCK in their right mind would use or defend this?

they also had a hit/ler “pronouns” video but they took that one down. (but left the pu/tin one up. what)

they (pictured below, and is still up) coined pu/tin “pronouns” like p*tin didnt unalive thousands of innocent Ukrainians. and he’s still at it. p*tin as well t*rtures LGBTQ people in his own country through their military.

no pride/no prides “pronouns” they said comes from the fact there is no pride for gazans. it’s sad and true that there is no pride for gazans, but what was their sick idea to make “pronouns” out of it and thought ppl would support it?

this post is NOT a diss towards xenopronouns and xenogenders in general, even though i dont agree with it or think it’s valid personally, i let those kids do what they want. (as long as they dont threaten me, ive seen adults attack and bully MINORS who say “i wont call anyone meowself” she was 16 and the person bullying her was 24, fucking stop, that behavior will NOT make ppl listen to you or learn to respect or validate you. i lost ALL my open-ness to TRY and respect and validate this concept after i was sent R4PE threats over my opinion. sorry i wont call you “uwuself”, dont send me fucking R4PE threats. idc if you are 13. plus i am ONE of the autistic ppl who struggle with pronouns other than he/she/and they, and genders other than female/male/and enby. not all autistic ppl are the same or think the same. ik a lot of autistic/adhd and “autistic” ppl use them, but again, we’re not all the same.

why arent ppl talking about this? it’s probably bc an absurd amount of ppl think sick xenogenders and their corresponding pronouns are okay, and they think should be held at gunpoint for not using them for random 10-20 year olds online. and by “sick” i mean the ones based off cr1me, tragedy, m*rder, g*nocide, r*pe, p*dophilia, n*crophilia, prosh1p, z**philia, inc3st, y*ndere’s, st*lking, k*dnapping, c*nnibalism, s*rial k*llers, and yes these exist. ive seen at LEAST one example of each of these in ppls gender-hoards in pinterest. (which is where i got sent the most violent, vulgar, disgusting threats ive ever seen in my life from literal 9-17 yr old babies)

more ppl talked about them and their partner crying over being called ladies in a bar, by ppl who most likely didnt know they were both enby, than THIS behavior.

idc if they are “trauma genders” if your trauma relates to any of those, you NEED to see a psychologist or go to a psych ward, not identify with or as it.

if you validate and/or defend this, you are just as sick as them, turning tragedy into genders/pronouns is NOT support, it’s the opposite really.

sorry if this is unnecessry, i can't really tell if i'm the one being talked about with regards to having anti-twink sentiments? deeply funny sentence, but that really wasn't my intention. live and let live, etc

i do disagree that, in this fandom specifically, being against "twink" designs is based in homophobia and femphobia in particular. i could probably go through all the accounts that use the term twinkification and see various neopronouns and posts about crossdressing. of course queer people can always be homophobic, but i truly believe this is more of a general annoyance with the dominance of thin/permanently 20yo/anime designs than of the feminine aspect. or annoyance with the dominance of men, in some cases. ultimately, this is wildly subjective and very easily disagreeable on unless someone decides to do a widescale survey so. live and let live.

i was indeed very flippant about distinguishing between feminine and twink, but i believe i hold a different perspective to this than you both. gay men are indeed not recognized as men, or only as "failed" men, which marks them as lesser than men, which marks them as feminine. that is the crux of a significant portion of recent historical homophobia! this goes for a number of other attributes that, when thought about logically, shouldn't make anyone unmasculine, but because of patriarchy et al, it does. if you cry, you're a girl. if you're short, you're a girl. if you care about women, you're a girl. if you're a twink, you're a girl. if you're gay, you're a girl. hence me often switching between the two. yes, it would be nice to live in a post-gender world where these traits aren't seen as pejoratives, or the distinction between masculine and feminine wouldn't matter at all, but society(tm). i personally believe it's useful to acknowledge how "ungendered" traits ARE gendered, even if this gendering is rooted in bigoted history

but, for the sake of clarity, here's a lightning round of how i would define different grian designs: just a guy - thin, short, hairless, probably has anime hair, what most people call twink ; femboy - same as before but with uke style lashes and lips, generally rendered with a "feminine" face, often in "submissive" poses (or as a power bottom), maybe has tits and hips? ; woman - actual woman ; british man - not thin

anyway, feel free to not answer this if you think this is too discourse-y or unproductive. maybe i just misread it and we're literally not even disagreeing about anything. this is largely a non-issue compared to like, the racism in the fandom, or the actual gender gap in the cast, or the hermit tcg essentially being gambling lol.

ps. i wonder why butch designs are so uncommon?

my entire blog is unnecessary and discourse-y man send in whatever you want. my existence is discourse-y and I like it when people disagree with me (and LOVE IT when they agree with me).

So first off I think we're actually on the same page in regard to traits that should be gender-neutral but aren't due to societal biases, hence why I used my Grian as an example in the first place. I, designing him, did not intend for him to be read as feminine but I acknowledge that his traits could be seen as feminizing to others -- and the original anon who had asked me had specifically asked why Grian was more feminized than others, to which my first thought was "...Is he? Idk I feel like he just gets drawn younger?"

This is why homophobia/femphobia is relevant, despite that not being the intention, when people complain about "twink designs" they conflate those traits with femininity as a whole and stuff gets caught in the crossfire. The people who I see complain about twink designs are usually queer yes, but they are also usually young and not exactly the most brushed up on their history or have very little respect for their fellow queer artists. You don't need a homophobic bone in your body to echo homophobic sentiments, especially in the current online climate where so much conservatism has become repackaged as morality.

I also think misogyny is much more relevant to this discussion than homophobia, although those things kind of go hand in hand. e.g. why are "permanently 20" designs bad in the first place, especially when that younger look historically is a stylistic choice that appeals to women? There's obviously nuance to this i.e. the whole "conventionally attractive" thing

It's more that I want people who dislike "twink" designs to examine what they're actually saying. Like, consider,in real life are skinny petite men really considered "conventionally" attractive when every second guy I know is worried about being under 6ft and "sexiest man alive" magazines have line ups like this?

I just think a lot of people have warped perceptions of what is considered "conventionally attractive" in men because they're accustomed to seeing designs made by young queer women. What is "conventionally attractive" in a fandom space is very different from what is "conventionally attractive" irl.

My point is just that I think a lot of people need to take a step back and realise they're not fighting against societal beauty standards, they're fighting against tropes that have historically appealed to teenage girls (alot of whom don't even like men!). And it's okay to dislike these tropes, just um. Make your own stuff instead of complaining to the artist or calling them names?

And I must clarify again that I AM one of those people who is less keen on "twink" designs and prefers to communicate more masculinity and age. I hateeee the art styles of things like genshin and also kinda giggle at some of the more femboy-leaning designs I've seen for characters I don't associate with those tropes. And I do think we're in agreement for the most part? "Live and let live" like you said is the main point here and it. Really is not serious. People are still gonna draw them as little cartoon guys who typically look younger just by virtue of being cartoons + the audience being younger and therefore more likely to see themselves in the stylization. Take it away, Scott McCloud.

I really. don't give a fuck about people being haters. I too am a hater. But if you're QRTing luminousslime's artwork with the hot yaoi base meme, I'm gonna think you're a bit of a bitch.

I could get into more specific examples but I don't want to put anyone on the spot. Point is I think people over-obsess over avoiding being one of the Bad Ones and sometimes that turns into some very hateful stuff said about other artists who they've deemed as one of the Bad Ones. Like at the end of the day draw whatever you want, dislike whatever you want, just don't try to justify bullying. Unless you're actively sending in hate asks I don't careeeee have anti-whatever sentiments you want.

I can't find the tags anymore but someone even rb'd my original post about this talking about feeling fujoshi guilt over twink grian, so I can confirm that there is at least one person who's been made to feel shamed over the way this fandom talks about "twink" designs and how that is very much linked to anti-fujoshi stuff.

That PS is interesting and I could go on a whole tangent about it. Personally I think it's a mixture of the attitude that masculinity = boring that I mentioned in thee original post and a distinct lack of butch representation in media that leaves people with very little mental material to work with. If you asked me to name popular femboys in fiction, I would immediately start listing off characters like Angel Dust from HH, Felix from Re;Zero, Astolfo from Fate, so on. Even outside of the realm of online culture, I'm willing to bet most people could name at least on drag queen.

In contrast, does anyone here know who Spikey Van Dykey is? I saw several RPDR fans who didn't even know Drag Kings were a thing at all when discourse started up about the Thai version of that show confirmed they welcomed Drag Kings to compete.

It's even worse when you get to drawn media where childrens shows female characters often have their femininity accentuated as The Girl One and the marketability of "pretty anime girl" is hard to pass up in media aimed towards older audiences, as is often the allure of drawing pretty anime girl. When talking about anime specifically, Japanese gender roles are also a very damning factor in the storylines and designs of masculine women. You're lucky to get a tomboy who actually looks masc, let alone a butch (<-- take this with a grain of salt since the concept of "butch" doesn't really translate one to one culturally)

I could keep going about the concept of "tomboys" and how it's become very weird in the last few years but. sighs.

Anyway female CCs tend to have very overtly feminine (i.e. more detailed and "prettier") skins as well which might be a factor, masculinizing a design would probably mean taking away fun little trinkets instead of adding your own which isn't appealing to most people. Thinking about this post

There's definitely some more. complicated stuff in there about taking away a woman's femininity and internalized misogyny but. yeah. it's own discussion. feminine women and masculine women both get shafted, feminine men get shafted, but you never see complaints that a man is too masculine.

Making Differences

Long post. tl;dr: you never know where your earnest words may end up, and what they might accomplish, so keep putting them out there. (Also: I wrote a guide to nonbinary identities a little over two years ago and I’m still very proud of it.)

Back in August 2020, I emailed my day job line manager: “Hey, so, I’ll be coming back to work [after the world’s worst-timed unpaid, year-long sabbatical] in three weeks... we should probably have a plan...?”

He agreed, and decided to do a long-overdue video call that week. In our defence, we’d had a lot of Other Things to think about in that period.

Approximately 15 seconds before the call connected, I remembered that my beard had been growing out for about 6-8 weeks by that point and was not something you could pass off as a trick of the light, if you were so minded. What would this nice, supportive, but ultimately cishet, Christian, family man have to say about my incontrovertibly gender non-conforming appearance? I’d never even told him about being non-binary, always swerving when conversation got close to the topic.

Arrgh.

As the video image expanded, he leaned into the screen, put one hand to his own hairy chin (very different from the clean-shaven man of memory) and said “Huh. It’s not as good as mine!”

Me: “Well, uh, hah, to be fair, you’ve had longer to, uh, develop yours.”

Him: “How long have you been growing yours then?”

I’m not sure that there could have been a better response, if I’m honest.

We moved onto different topics after that but, like a two-ring circus, I was chatting about the departmental shifts, the changes in personnel, how everyone was coping with permanently working from home... and thinking: “Could I finally come out completely at work? Like: COMPLETELY? Would that... I hadn’t even... what...?!” and said, just before signing off, with utter lack of articulacy, that it would be good to talk about, uh, pronouns, and changing them in work, sometime.

“Oh. Okay.”

We worked the mechanism out between us, me slowly revealing my new appearance to close colleagues one at a time, most of whom were either a) relieved that I wasn’t telling them I’d suffered horrendous burn scars (thanks for that very specific leap of imagination!), b) cis men complaining mildly that my beard was better, or c) having to be dragged back a step from the notion that I was transitioning to a man and would be changing my name, etc., d) or some combination of the above. And then we decided to use November 2020’s National Coming Out Day as a good point to aim for. I was already set to write an article about coming out as nonbinary for the organisation’s LGBT+ Network (due to be shared generally with anyone in the business who cared to read it or any of the others for that day – apparently mine made some people cry).

In the meantime, I searched out the announcement that a former colleague’s line manager had made to the business when she came out as trans and forwarded it to mine – here’s a good template, and yes: the annoucement coming from you will help legitimise it. At which point, it became clear that my boss and colleagues were going to need some further guidance from me.

“I was thinking of writing a thing about how to use pronouns...”

“Oh!” He was nakedly relieved. “Yes, pronouns. That would be great. Thanks!”

No problem. I knew how to use my own, and how to communicate that clearly. No worries. One page about ze/zir/zirself, with a general background on neopronouns. Coming right up.

It occurred to me that I didn’t know whether any of my (ostensibly uniformly cishet) colleagues had any idea why why someone would use third person singular pronouns other than she/her or he/him, so I added in a bit about nonbinary identities. A couple of pages should be fine, right? The nonbinary identity section grew, and split into subsections: definitions, history, legacy, how much more common such a thing is in cultures other than “Western” ones.

Maybe it needed more context. After all, to understand nonbinary, you probably need to understand binary trans identities. A new section blossomed.

In order to understand transgender identities, you need to understand gender identity. Okay. Another section. Let’s throw in all the definitions re: sex, gender, cis, trans, nonbinary... with some links to other resources.

You know what this needs? Diagrams (id in alt-text). And a contents page. And a glossary.

Honestly, I’m amazed it’s only thirteen pages long...

Anyway, thing is: it’s gone a LOT further than any of us ever imagined. It started with people on Facebook saying “Well, I don’t understand [non-binary people/ the need for gender-neutral language]!” in various groups/ on other friend’s posts, so I’d sweetly offer them the guide. (Turns out treating what can look like huffy denial as a good faith request for more information (with bonus diagrams) gets many more positive results than you’d imagine.) Then I idly posted the link in a couple of more friendly places. And THEN it started getting weird. “Can I share this with my colleagues?” Sure. “Can I bring this to my kids’ school?” Go for it. “I’d like to circulate this as a resource at the NHS Trust I work for.” Uh. Okay! “So, I saw [the guide] on Twitter. Can [organisation I greatly admire] use that as guidance for our organisation?” Buh, uh, yeah! Please! “My wife is a prison psychiatrist, may I share it with her?” Blimey. By all means.

And then the more personal stories started coming back: “You made me realise something about myself.” “I shared this with my family and they understood.” “We’re in love and your paper helped me reconcile that.”

Wow.

This little guide has gone a lot further than I ever imagined it might.

Today a senior colleague told me, in passing:

fwiw I shared your pronoun guide with my (very old white cis hetero) choir and it has generated SO many good questions

so there are choir grandkiddos all over the world thanking you for their grandparents being more awesome

Which, considering I was braced for an awkward business change management conversation, was not where I was expecting to end up this afternoon, emotionally speaking.

If I was doing this from scratch now, I suspect there would be differences (a longer glossary; an excursion into intersex identities, maybe? definitely better diagrams...), but then, a lot of what I know now came from doing the research for the guide, so maybe not so much! But one thing is for sure: I’m never going to take the impact of words shared freely quite so lightly in future.

Summary thoughts: this was really good and I like that MW has taken the time to address the NE fallout before moving on to whatever is coming next, I'm mostly just excited for that whatever-comes-next now. I didn't expect this story to still be focused on the same planet, but it's cool that it was! And now we're moving on with more machine intelligences and rogue secunits in play!! And they mentioned the comfortunit from artificial condition so hopefully that'll come back into play soon as well! I feel like something is building up wrt construct rights in the setting and I'm very excited to see that, but in the meantime I loved getting this familiar romp through MB having a very bad day and working through its emotions while also trying not to die. And it was fun having the twist on the usual formula with things being so isolated and it having to handle everything while being off its game, it felt a lot more tense than some of the other entries just by virtue of the fact that MB's narration was so much less confident than usual, and it made it really nice to hear the fire come back to its voice once we hit that point in the story. 11/10 as usual I love this bot so goddamn much

xe was veryyy confused about their gender for a long time, and it initially was just experimental. what if he was a girl? what if she was a guy? what if xe was neither?

but eventually, he did his own research and learned what worked.

but coming out was... harder.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE THIS IS BEFORE MICHAEL CAME OUT (or even was sure about his own gender/sexuality.) i do think he had internalized transphobia (that comes with the toxic masculinity of having william of all people for a father (despite william not caring about gender identities much, he held his own sons to a different standard i think, which lead to, of course, internalized transphobia.)

with that out of the way, yes. it was big and scary to evan. it was terrifying even. what was it supposed to say? "hey i dont wanna be a guy anymore."?

he came out first to cassidy and gregory together. which is funnily enough where he discovered gregory was transmasc and suddenly everything made sense (cassidy later figures out shes not cis too ofc)

they talked him through it, and assured him he didnt HAVE to come out to the rest of his family. xe owed them nothing. but to it, this was a step forward in being its own person. she wasnt going to let that chance go.

honestly, it was big and scary and horrifying for evan, but elizabeth was chill, if not a bit confused by the concept.

william did not gaf. he fucking knew his kids were gay. and his lack of care counted as a loss for evan tbh 😭 he got all ready to come out and got hit with the "yeah i know now stop fucking crying over robots bruh"

michael was a different story. first, he was confused, then he was a little,,, hesitant to accept it. this was weird and new, but he was way too old by this point to be harassing evan about something like that. it just ended in an awkward "isnt that whole thing weird/made up/fake/stupid/ect?" that left both of them uncomfortable.

if we follow smth like second best and shitty brother, he'd end up apologizing for that behavior, especially since he himself would probably figure out what that was like.

BACK IN THE CLOSET, ANTHONY - A thought on DID and gender identity.

Two years ago, I started to explore my identity. It didn't feel like it at the time, honestly, I was just playing Dress up. I called it Drag, but really, it was more than that. I just wasn't aware of it yet. I put on a wig I found online, masculine clothes, and instantly, I heard a whisper in my mind:

Anthony.

That was my first encounter with an aesthetic, a personality. Anthony. That was my drag name at the time. I was just having so much fun being Anthony. He was a way for me to be bigger, bolder. He was a grumpy brat with a love for shirt with patterns. He helped me grow confidence and, soon enough, made me realize I was happier when I was serving masc. Now almost one year ago, I came out transgender to my loved ones, and I am now in the process of having my name legally changed and I am about to get HRT too -yaaaay! I could never thank Anthony enough I thought, so I decided to have Anthony as my middle name.

Now, what I'm not saying about Anthony is that is not just a little drag persona I pretend to be. He has memories, preferences, traumas, a story I did not make up. Sometimes, I really AM Anthony. And others.

That's right. A few months now, during this very confusing transition process, I also found out I am in the DID spectrum. I was already diagnosed bipolar, I guess it came with a little extra.

Anthony was an Alter all along, alongside Gwenn, Nuage, Chris, Thomas, Toy and Leona, the only girl of the pack.

Since I started living with the knowledge They exist in this corner of my head, my life has been a rollercoaster. They laugh, they cry, they fall in love, they interact with my girlfriend, some of my friends, and sometimes, yes, sometimes, they make me feel gender euphoria...and gender dysphoria.

What Anthony started was my aknowledgement that I was in the transgender spectrum. What the others made me realize is that gender and sexuality is so fluid, especially when you're struggling with your mental health and probably when you're experiencing DID-I'm only refering to myself here, I would love to hear about similar experiences though !

Last night, I couldn't find sleep.

I was reflecting on those euphoric and dysphoric moments.

Gwenn is a straight, cis man. Nuage too.

Leona is a cis girl whose sexuality is unknown.

Chris and Thomas are cis gay men.

Toy considers himself agender and uses neopronouns. He is pansexual, too, like me.

I have similarities with my Alters but also so sooo many differences.

So as I couldn't sleep, I was reflecting on my gender identity and discovered the word "pangender", which means feeling all of the gender at once. For me, it was... a revelation. It made so much sense.

Since all of these different Alters inhabit me, I am all those genders at the same time. But I don't forget myself in those different identities. It's a little confusing sometimes because I tend to not want to be myself more often than I would like to admit , feeling more confident in their "skins", but I realized last night that those identities built me the way I am. I am the body, and I feel like I am blessed with a few other souls.

This body is pangender, pansexual, and it's okay. Thank you Anthony, I think I just finished what you started two years ago.

(A note: I don't want to sound like I want to sum up the entirety of the DID experience, I'm just reflecting on my own. No DID System is like any other. )

General Idia Headcanons Because

- Half Greek half Korean

-He accidentally became a fairly popular vocaloid producer with Ortho literally being his “vocaloid” when really he just wanted to test the new singing feature he added to Ortho from book five.

-With a recent masquerade event playing out in mind, it eventually leads to him releasing covers so now he’s a fairly popular cover artist and nobody knows how he looks like at all but they love his voice

-He/She/They, no doubt uses neopronouns on occasion as well

-Going into that, Idia is generally very apathetic about their gender identity, not really caring how they’re perceived (would rather not be perceived at all actually). If anyone asks they say they’re nonbinary/agender cause it’s the closest label that matches how they feel.

-They can watch any mainstream horror with a straight face, but they prefer a campy slasher cause at least that won’t give them nightmares (I can see them being a big Scream fan)

-Horror video games on the other hand get the exact opposite reaction. She’s so jumpy when it comes to actually having to interact with the story. It sometimes gets to a point where Ortho has to restrict Idia from playing horror games because of how badly they effect her anxiety disorder.

-Dressed up as Santa once for Ortho’s sake only for Ortho himself to break the news that he never believed in Santa and that he never gave any indication that he believed in Santa and also the fucking fire hair gave away that it was Idia…

-…But see the thing is that Santa actually does exist in the TWST world so jokes on them

- Everyone and their mom knows Idia is autistic so I’m adding on to this: He has very low empathy

-There have been a lot of points where Idia said something very rude only to be surprised that others get upset with the things he say. I think it’s because he doesn’t understand why they’re upset because in his mind he’s simply being honest, and because he can’t put himself in someone else’s shoes he tends to double down on his comments rather than apologize.

-Idia simply has a lot of trouble understanding why others feel a certain way during a certain time, and so he would be the type to awkwardly stand there and give gentle shoulder pats as a classmate is crying. It’s not that he is cruel or mean, it’s genuinely just very difficult for him to understand why someone can get upset and so he has a false idea that most people are just sensitive.

- I know she’s on the internet all the time, but because of her sheltered upbringing and neglectful parents she never got a formal diagnosis. So there’s a small part of Idia who is in denial of the fact she’s autistic. It’s like “yeah it makes a lot of sense that I’m autistic…but what if I’m not???” It’s because she also has an anxiety disorder and so she fears that she’s somehow faking it for attention.

- She never does get a diagnosis but eventually accepts the fact that yes, they’re autistic and no, it’s not being faked

My LGBTQIA+ HCs for shock treatment

You people seem to agree with me for rhps let's see how this goes down (yes I did watch the movie on 2x speed on YouTube to get the order correct). I genuinely think a lot of the characters are less fruity than the ones in rocky horror sooo in order of appearance (not 100% accurate):

Brad: bisexual with a female preference, I also believe that his insecurity in his masculinity would lead him to question his gender potentially eventually realising they're nonbinary using he/they pronouns. I also think they'd try to deny and hide this.

Janet: pansexual. Idk why I just see it. Once again you don't have to agree just don't argue x

Neely: I don't care who you are there is no denying that she is gay. I personally hc her as a lesbian.

Harry: very "straight" and very insecure in his masculinity to the point where he tries to overconpensate though I think his homophobia is a little internalized...

Emily: she's giving typical hetero woman who swears she isn't gay but would've been the one in the friend group to ask her friends to "practise" kissing on each other "for the boys"

The cop (I'm sorry I don't know his name): absolutely homosexual. Don't even try fight me.

Brenda: I think she's bi. I mean they're in a band for starters but she really gives off no vibes. I'm also thinking she might be questioning her gender, I can see them experimenting with they/she pronouns. I would also suggest neopronouns but I think they might be uncomfy with that given the stigma around the lgbtqia+ community in Denton.

Frankie: undeniably trans masc. He doesn't try to present outwardly that way but the insistence around the name change makes it somewhat obvious and it honestly bugs me that nobody respects him.

Ralph Hapschatt: ok he's dating a woman butttt do we think that's a cover up? I personally think that Ralph and Macy both seem so uncomfortable interacting with each other that it makes me wonder if their relationship is to hide their sexualities.

Macy: I honestly think she's gay like I said before. Possibly bi but with a strong female preference.

(Oh) Oliver (you're so tolerant!) : seems very heteronormative to me, I feel like he'd cry if you came out to him.

That one stage hand: she's the one with the blue hat and honestly I don't care if she has maybe 2 lines she's giving serious lesbian energy.

Bert: Bert is absolutely polysexual. There is no way that guy is straight but he's also not entirely gay. I feel like he'd be attracted to you no matter your gender.

Ricky: aww Ricky is adorable first of all. He seems like he's experimenting and maybe questioning his sexuality. I think he and Ansalong are in an open relationship.

Cosmo: I'm getting the feeling Cosmo is genderfluid but has to suppress his feminine side for tv. Alsooo giving aromantic vibes. I feel like Cosmo would struggle with romance but enjoys sex with both men and women.

Nation: (my love 😍) this is where I struggle. I think Nation may be transgender, possibly even intersex. I like the idea that she has struggled with defining her gender in the past. I also think she's omnisexual which is why I can't decide if I ship her more with Bert or Janet...

Ansalong: Ansalong is definitely some kind of bisexual in my mind.

Farley: heterosexual to the point of being irritating. He's very typically masc and misogynistic.

i don't care what labels you use, i care about whether or not you treat others with respect.

"terfs" do not treat others with respect. "radfems" do not treat others with respect. those who call others slurs- yes, even if they are allowed to reclaim those slurs- do not treat others with respect. those who use slurs that they are not able to reclaim do not treat others with respect. groomers, child or animal or anyone else molesters, etc, do not treat others with respect.

-------stances on endogenic/traumagenic system debate----------

man, i don't care. genuinely. and i mean that in the nicest way possible. i've noticed that people who are endogenic systems oftentimes do seem traumagenic. this doesn't mean that i think endogenic systems or nondisordered systems don't exist. i'm just saying that there isn't enough research about it, and at the end of the day, as long as you treat others with respect, and that includes yourself, it doesn't really matter.

-------stances on dysphoria or dysmorphia----------

being trans is feeling like ur body doesn't match up with your identity. that's not necessarily dysphoria. you don't have to have dysphoria to not be cis.

for dysmorphia, you can have dysmorphia for non human shit.

for otherkinity and the like, you do you! as long as it isn't hurting you if you recognize it, it doesn't matter <3
