One day I accidentally saw the spoiler and people were like "oh, but it was without a context, we have to wait for it!" and it made me truly curious to see what the whole scene was about

And let me tell you it turns out I was perfectly happy not knowing what it was about

(But you know, curiosity killed the cat. And I loved this scene, it was positively heartbreaking, angst in its finest form. Exactly opossite to what I expected to happen knowing this season was supposed to be quiet and gentle and romantic)

I'm going to die. this conversation -- and how much he genuinely believes what he's saying at this point -- held up against the fact that in a couple of months max he's going to get her killed (well. that's how he feels anyway) and then go against everything she believed in and stood for as a person in the end and have to live forever with knowing that's how he honoured her sacrifice. been thinking of Loki as a vengeful ghost/demon that tries to kill Thor after dying on Jotunheim except instead of killing Thor straightup Thor's on a quest following a trail of weird clues and strange happenings across multiple realms sort of? so Loki is just leading him around not showing himself but very much heartbroken in the distance about how Thor just 'moved on'. Meanwhile on Thor's end it's very evident in how Thor handles quests once Loki is gone that he still follows all the advice and suggestions Loki made, and tries to consider what Loki would have done when he does things.

Me preparing to rewatch mebius for the 3rd time in 2 months instead of finishing the other 8 ultra shows I started:

Jokes aside, yes I very much have and I've made it very VERY clear to any and all gc and discord servers I'm somewhat active in that I love that show. Started it when I was honestly feeling like absolute crap I have genuinely felt so much happier after finishing this. I have also never cried so often by simply thinking about the characters.

(is this the hyperfixation or is that the positive messages of the show LET'S FLIP THE COIN)

I guarantee every 5 of my mebius related reblogs will have me yapping on and on about how much I love mirai he's just so AAGSJAHSGAJ I WILL DEFEND HIM WITH MY LIFE. All the characters here are so loveable.... except a few I will not name cough cough hirukawa cough. Heavily recommended if you're feeling a bit down.

I kinda hate how Cirie's demise has exposed how comp dependent BB has become. Like yeah we been knew, but it’s like… you don't need to do all this song and dance on Survivor. But because a single person has the power to control the fate of everyone in the house week to week, it requires players to cover themselves on all sides, resulting in the post-16 meta of a huge onion alliance to maximize one's chances of not hitting the block any given week. There's no need for that in Survivor; the only person an immunity winner can impact is themselves, so the rest of the tribe isn't forced to play around the whims of a single person. And with the comps themselves becoming increasingly physical over the years, somehow this glorified summer camp is more dependent on physical fitness than the game that starves people on an island for a month and a half.

Controversial take but i watched all of jjk, in subbed, so it had my full attention 100% of the time, and i am of the opinion that it just fucking sucks.

So me and my wife were talking about it, and we were trying to figure out why people like it and we've come up short. I do not understand what's so appealing about this show for so many people. Can someone PLEASE tell me.

One of the issues I have designing encounters in 5e is that monster damage increases way faster than monster health, leading to an issue where if I go by CR I'm throwing a monster at the party that can possibly take down a player character in a single turn but that will ultimately be dispatched in two, maybe three rounds, before I even get to do anything super cool with it (also this one is on me, but wow do all monsters need at least one ranged option because if you don't have one it's pretty easy to get stuck in a place where you can't do anything). This becomes an even bigger problem when because of items or strategic thinking or just the general shittiness of the CR system your party is pretty good at punching above their weight CR-wise. Then things get really dangerous, because like I said damage escalates waaay faster and it's very easy to pull something that'll take multiple characters down in one turn. That gives me a really narrow line to walk if I want to set up an encounter that's challenging, risky, and fun, but also not something where I get one good round in and send them all to the shadow realm. I'm not necessarily opposed to killing player characters, I just don't want it to be a tpk because I (in my relative newness to dming) accidentally gave them way more than they could ever handle. It's one thing to kill a party with competence, it's another to kill them via incompetence. I think I just need to start home brewing every monster I use (mostly tuning up health and down damage) but I kinda wish I didn't need to do that? It would be great if monsters worked straight out of the box, as it were
