You know what? I’m feelin’ a Prompt with the whole halfa family, all the clones and everything. 

See, Danny? He’s grown up, he’s moved out, started looking at colleges himself after spending a few years travelling and learning about himself without the threat of a ghost attack. 

He’s kept in touch with his friends, both living and dead, and ignores Vlad for the most part now that they’ve reached a truce of sorts, and honestly? He’s just living his life. 

But see, it’s kind of hard to figure out what college to pick, with his admittedly not-great choices. Look, he might have a new-ish ID but he’s still visibly not exactly human (though thankfully doesn’t have to worry about the GIW after a… summer activity that ended with several missing buildings) 

And most people he goes to? Finds him ‘too unsettling’ which excuse him?? How is he unsettling? He’s a twenty-five year old with six kids ranging from one to six! How is that “scary” huh? Ancients, and all this is making him use the cash he’s saved up over time. 

And then- as though all of this isn’t stressful enough and he’s not genuinely worried that he won’t have enough money to feed the kids if he goes to school- a hero nearly trips over Jordan and starts freaking out. He is so fucking done.

Because apparently we are still having this discussion in 2024..

Donna does not have “the mind of a child”. I can kind of see how someone might interpret that, but it’s not canon and therefore REALLY weird and infantilizing towards mentally ill adults. The only thing Donna’s file says is that she has severe mental illness. My theroy is DID but let’s save that for another day.

When Miranda calls her mentally underdeveloped, “underdeveloped” does not mean childlike. You have to understand that Miranda is specifically talking about Donna’s cadou affinity, which Miranda deems unfit due to the fact that Donna has shared hers amongst Angie and the other dolls-making her “weaker” in Miranda’s eyes.

Just because Donna “plays with dolls” also doesn’t mean she has the mind of a child. Like this woman canonically murders people, regardless of if it’s Miranda’s fault or not, and does so by knowingly drugging her victims and letting those same dolls (controlled by HER) to slice and dice them.

I’m tired of being perceived as a creep by those who conjured up this unverifiable narrative. Calling anyone who finds Donna attractive pe**philic is also a really big accusation to put on someone, especially when you believe something that was never canon. As someone who is a survivor of CSA myself, you are doing nothing of value to help us. Especially if you’re going to accuse us of such things.

Stop infantilizing mental illness and mentally ill people, too.

Donna may be my little gothic cupcake smoochie bear, but.. she’s still a full grown adult who very much thinks like one and ✨kills people✨.

it always makes me sad to think about how young achilles was when he went to war. he spent a third of his life living to die. and he was too young to know any better about what it truly means to die for glory. he’d just been raised on the premise that it was a good thing to do. the best thing to want. better than any kingdom: glory in death.

his character is what comes of a child expected to be the best warrior. what comes of someone so young being raised in a world where violence is your most valuable asset. what comes of having human flesh and red blood but being expected to be a god. at just sixteen.

this is why i prefer to look at achilles as a figure of anti-war. his character shows us what it looks like to be a person who’s entire life has been defined by violence, by war, and — inevitably— by his death.
