it hit me again yesterday- literally as i was about to fall asleep- how stupidly cute it is that marisha as beau randomly burst out "i could be her beacon [that guides her home]" all awkward and earnest about jester, for then one campaign later, finally, laura as imogen come back to her with "you're my tether, laudna. sometimes i feel like i’m about to float away, but as long as you’re there" and i just think that's beautiful and another reminder of how in so many ways CR continues to be endless love letters from the cast to each other.

something something about dead boy detectives what edwin's and charles' friendship is actually works in show so half of fandom won't even care if they end up romantic or stay friends. (almost won't care. we all love queer stuff. can't judge.) I, personally, just love their whole dynamic and for me it's totally understandable that charles went into hell for his friend and stayed on earth as a ghost so he can be with edwin. and I think edwin actually meant it when he said "he did not feel the same way but i think we're better friends because of it".

Fe Aspec Week Day 2: Friendship

An indulgent piece for today!!!! :') It's no secret the trio's friendship has always had a really special place in my heart, and I've been grateful for the taste of acceptance and contentment it brought me during (and long after) I played the game. To see them find the most caring and complete friendship in each other was truly inspiring.

Need I remind everyone Purgatory is done and it was just a game, for FUN!!!!! Same will be for purgatory 2!!! I understand having bias and favorite teams but do not in any case bring down others because yours is too special or whatever, they were all the same, they were all trapped in there with tensions high and did things they normally wouldn't, the characters acted accordingly to their lore, it's okay to be upset at some decisions made but god don't make it a state affair. hmmm thinking about Todoroki and Midoriya being childhood friends where they promised to marry each other so that todoroki could protect midoriya from bullies and he protects todoroki from his dad but one day todoroki just vanished and he doesn’t hear from him again until they end up in UA.

cue todoroki not wanting to get close because he’s still consumed by anger at his father and thinks Izuku won’t want to be his friend anymore since he’s changed so much and ignores him. Midoriya is hurt yet can’t stop thinking about him and the scar on his eye. i.e. they don’t interact in season 1. then sports festival happens and todoroki tells him everything. Midoriya is obvious like ‘i’m always gonna be your friend’ and ‘it’s your power isn’t it?’ while Todoroki is ‘i’m sorry’ and ‘thank you’.

The day after the sports festival has ended and everyone is back in class, Todoroki walks into the classroom, eyes set on Midoriya, gets on one knee and proposes. much to literally everyone else’s confusion.

I think it is the stupidest thing that Toga dies.

Every other character gets blasted through the heart or gets bones crushed and loses gallons of blood on a daily basis but one stab is enough that Uraraka needed All of Toga’s blood? Couldn’t just give a little had to give her everything.

no because the snily dynamic has so much untapped angst because everyone always chalks it up to “snape called her a slur” when that was only the breaking point. for years snape was betraying lily with the friends he was making in school and for years she stood by him because she loved him the most. she still saw him as the know-it-all, sensitive, momma’s boy she befriended before hogwarts ruined him and wanted to believe in his goodness. and on the flip side snape could see that lily was trying not to like james and his charisma for his sake but that wasn’t enough!! she shouldn’t have to try not to like him because james was a monster! her flaws were that she was trying to be a better person than she was, but he wanted to believe in her too until the point where he realised his friendship with her wasn’t going to save him!! the only ones that could were the people that stood against her entire existence and in that moment he committed the ultimate betrayal and spent the rest of his life regretting it!!! ughhhhhh aghhhh uhhhhh
