It was good that Whiz wasn't in a wallowing mood. Richard hoped that meant he wasn't feeling too down. He knew how much Whiz really liked May and wanted her to like him. Richard wanted her to like him too. Whiz dating May would work wonderfully. No awkwardness of having to get to know someone new. Trying to not come off as cold and distant when really he was just not able to relax around new people. Still Whiz isn't in a wallowing mood and is instead grinning. Richard loves to see it. He laughs at what Whiz has in mind. Changing his hair color has never been something that made it to Richard's what I would do if I could do whatever list. But he enjoys Whiz's daring hair adventures. Whiz is always being daring with his appearance in some way. Richard thinks it's fabulous. He always has. "Yes, of course, mate. Going neon yellow this time eh? You'll certainly stand out while we're still in this grey winter," Richard tells him as if Whiz doesn't always stand out when he wants to.

Whiz appreciates what Richard is trying to do, suggesting May might be interested in dating him if it was a better time. "Maybe," he concedes. He does think May likes him, even has some interest--she liked him enough to kiss him at New Year's, after all. He just isn't sure she likes him enough that she'd really want to date him if she wasn't busy. Which is fine. And Whiz is used to the fact he's not everyone's cup of tea. It doesn't bother him much, except for in situations like this one where he wants to be a particular person's cup of tea. It's disappointing. Still, he chuckles at Richard's comment that he's missing out on friends with benefits. "I'll take your word for that mate." Whiz is pretty certain he is not missing out, especially with how worked up Richard was a couple minutes ago, but he keeps that thought to himself. At least one of them is having some fun right now. He considers when Richard asks what he can do to help. "Hm. I do rather think it would help to indulge in some dramatic moaning about how emotionally unavailable she is. But not right now. I'm not in a wallowing mood right now. You know what I want to do?" He asks, inspired now, a grin pulling at his lips. "Want to help me dye my hair neon yellow?" There was nothing like a fresh new hair color to boost one's mood.

I think that Mark would be in the international version of WGM. You’re a famous actress in your country and you were given this opportunity because they heard you're a huge fan of NCT. So you're literally panicking when you learned who your husband is! The first meet-up was Mark picking you up at the airport and you literally ran away lol. But Mark is so chill about it! He's such a caring husband, and you two tend to code-switch since you have a little knowledge in korean, but most of the time, you two talk in english! The panelists thinks that you two are a cool couple because of how casual you two are with each other. 

Huang Renjun

OHHHHH. You two are overflowing with visuals! You two are considered the flower couple because you two are just so goddamn pretty. <3 Your first meet-up was like in a maze and you two have to find out who's your partner is based on clues but really, you two already know because the news came out lol. But you met Renjun at the end of the maze with a flower bouquet with his hands and everyone was just, yep, flower couple right there. Most episodes were spent in your house, sharing domesticity and sweet moments, but your favorite moment with him was when you two spend a 2D1N stay at a countryside house. 

Lee Jeno

During the individual interview, both of you expressed that you two are a homebodies. So that's both of your concern since both were scared that they may come out as boring. It turns out to be true. After meeting Jeno at a coffee shop where he has to find his wife based on her order, your domestic stay-at-home married life began. Like, it when to the point where the staff have to arrange some activities for the two of you, so that you two can go out LMAO. Activities like you two going to an amusement park wearing school uniform like a high school sweethearts or maybe doing an escape room episode where Jeno has to hold your hands because you were too scared. (Everyone loves how sweet Jeno was during that episode.)

Lee Donghyuck

Your season with Haechan was loved by everyone! Because you two are so funny and very chaotic like, he loves teasing his wife but at the same time, you won't back down and you just match his chaos. Your first meet-up, Haechan has to know who his wife is based on their choreography since he learned that his wife is an idol too. But you danced to a different song and it took him fifteen minutes to learned that you tricked him lol. But there are subtle sweet moments between you two, especially the proposal! Haechan did it on an aquarium because you mentioned that you love going to aquariums. Also you two probably kissed during one episode. ><

Na Jaemin

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH. I feel like Jaemin won this season. He's just so prince-ly and is such a great husband material, like during his individual interview, it was shown that he cooks, he has his own apartment and takes care of his three cats. He's a meticulous guy who's also good with expressing his expectation on the program. So the panelists probably fell in love with him already. When your married life began, everyone just coos at how you two would give each other the princess treatment, but of course, Jaemin wouldn't back down, like,,,, he gives his 100% with everything. Cooking you breakfast, carrying your bag, and placing you on the safer side of the road. <3

Zhong Chenle

Just like Mark, Chenle would also be in the international version of WGM! You're a solo artist in your country and was loved by everyone <3 So he's marrying your country's sweetheart! Your first meet-up was Chenle going to your country and meeting you at a tower that oversees your city! Everyone gushes at how cute you two are. A newly-wed young couple, so most of your episodes are very light-hearted and high school sweetheart like! You two also tend to code-switch when you two converse with each other since you know a little bit of korean. The last episode was Chenle sending you off to the airport and it was a bittersweet episode but you two were smiling before hugging one last time. :<

Park Jisung

You two are a shy couple! very shy and very awkward like, the first meeting, you two are just so quiet and no one says a thing after you two placed at order. Jisung thinks that it should be him who should initiate the conversation, so despite stuttering (it made you laugh), he tried to talked to you and ask you questions! Your season shows how you two progressed from two shy chicks into a comfortable couple who are very sweet with each other but at the same time, would tease each other. It was a surprised that your season went long, and in your last episode, you cried because it's finished, but Jisung comforted you, (he's trying hard not to cry though :<)

Yep I made a post thinking about the same issue earlier. Now I came to the conclusion that Zevran is the smartest DAO companion:

1. Sounds a bit drastic, but he did trick most players into thinking he's just a himbo. Tell me if I'm wrong, being an assassin is a high risk job, you'll have to master the art of deception to stay alive. (hope no one took that story seriously which he told you he was knocked cold once, I do think he's trying to give you the impression there's nothing to be afraid from him)

2. He is the only one told you setting undead monsters on fire at Redcliff village will backfire. I doubt people bring him to there that much because it's one of the preferred first quests in game guides.

3. Someone told me he figured Morrigan out way way earlier than everyone.

4. He told you Lord Harrowmont is a bad idea and he's fucking right, that clown got himself killed for being a damn conservative.

5. If anything, you don't even need to side with him in DA2 he'll just kill those crows one way or another. Well, if you want him to appear in endgame you'll have to support him though. Prior to the point you meet him in DA2, he already cleaned up House Arainai quite efficiently, all by himself.

There are other incidents, but that's all what I came up atm.

Edit: @ac3tinium in comments remind me that Zevran is the only one can pass all three checkpoints with any combinations at Fort Drakon. I checked Wikia, it is indeed very true. No matter who he is with, he can find a way. (I only tried Leliana and Zevran combination because that was safest bet, they stealth their ways through lol)

Even so, I feel like you wouldn’t catch his attention as a romantic partner, or at least it would take him a lot longer.

ᯓ★ Wonbin I feel like, since you’re quiet and don’t draw much attention, it would be harder for him to approach you, especially since both of you are a bit quiet at first. Also, as I’ve mentioned before, I feel like Wonbin likes to be approached rather than making the first move, so unless you gathered the courage to talk to him first, you probably wouldn’t start a conversation. Plus, I feel like Wonbin is more attracted to extroverted people, to complement him.

Good Evening wonderful fandom :) Episode 2 already! Thank you to everyone who liked, commented or reblogged last weeks first impressions. Makes my entire day when get any one of those. Excited to delve into ep 2. Let's get started shall we?

7x02 The Watcher

The vast contrast between Lucy and Tim is no secret. But it always cracks me up. Lucy telling Celina she almost washed out with her PCD BUT reminding her Nolan is not Tim. (No he is not..) That he won’t mess with her head. Then we have Tim telling Nolan to do as such. LMFAO God I love these fools. How I’ve missed you so. That Sunshine x Grumpy at it's finest.

Nolan being sassy saying he’s not Tim. You very much are not good sir. You are correct there. Bringing up how Tim almost washed out Lucy and she's a great cop. (Like he could ever forget either of those things John...) Tim instantly correcting him. Saying the key being he’s exceptional and Nolan is well Nolan lol. Oh I’ve missed cocky Tim. haha Now we all know one of the reasons Lucy didn’t, was because she had broken down a small chunk of his wall. Forever the exception is his girl.

He refused to let her fail despite being a hard ass. Love that episode. One of my all time favs. Tim isn’t wrong though, Nolan is being evaluated as well. Something i'm sure he hadn't thought of tbh. As good is Celina is she’s no Lucy. Sorry Celina love ya haha Lucy continuing to be her sunshine self never ceases to amaze me. Saying a T.O. doesn’t have to play mind games to create an amazing cop. You know for Lucy I truly believe that’ll work. Because she can balance being a good leader and a kind one. Idk what works for Nolan. Blind luck?

Lucy is needing to crush Tim in this competition of theirs. It’s very much a necessary win for her. Especially after last season. Like I said in 7x01. I think T.O. will build her confidence back up. Winning this competition with Tim is going to do that. In spades really. Celina acting all innocent saying it’s about T.O. styles this competition? That's it?

Oh honey no haha I mean a little but it’s bottom of the barrel of WHY. Harper and Lopez appear out of nowhere. Saying it’s about the breakup. I mean how could it not be? For Tim it's the best way he can feel connected to her without crossing any lines. Because he knows she has all the power to dictate his presence in her life. Something he touched on in 6x10. Allowing him to be in her life in whatever small doses she allows. This is one of them. Since they can't be what they once were this is the closest he can get right now.

Lucy of course deflects the breakup comment. Saying it’s not about that. That they had friendly competition long before they dated. Ha ‘friendly’ is that what we’re calling your numerous work flirts my girl? Back to denial it seems. S4 vibes once again. Pushing down dem feelings till they don’t pop back up again. That always works right? Worked real well in s4... The fact that she needs to add professional to their 'friendly' bets they've had before says it all for me. Replying she is so over the break up. Uh huh. Sure you are…Mmhmm….Yep. ‘It’s just that.’ Whatever you need to tell yourself my friend.

Seth is late and of course Tim is right on it. Because he wouldn't be him if he didn't tbh. Calling her Chen. I love and hate it. Just means we’re gonna have to really earn that first ‘Lucy’ he utters back. Well Tim is….Oh Seth you are just giving Tim reasons to give Lucy a hard time. Which he immediately does. Asking her, during roll call, when Ridley eventually rolls in, what excuse is acceptable for being late? Lucy replying there isn’t one.. Starting in the loss column. It sucks.

Ooooh bad ass-no nonsense Lucy T.O. I AM HERE FOR IT. Hot damn. When she slammed on the breaks I literally said 'Get em Lucy!' Just because she isn’t Tim doesn’t mean she won’t lay down the law. She and I are so alike in our leadership style. Said this many times before but it just continues to be true. I love it. She's calm, empathetic and kind in her teaching. But if you give reason to take advantage of that then the claws come out to remind you respect is key.

The law will be laid down for that. So proud of her. I know she doesn’t want to be that kind of T.O. But it’s good to have a little Tim in your style so that respect is there. Otherwise you’re kind of a doormat. I loved her laying down the boundary of yes I'm kind. Yes I'm empathetic but respect is still something to be expected. I love watching her grow in this regard. I really do.

Oh my lord Texas is a walking lawsuit. Tim shaking his head while he stick his head up his ass is too funny. It's like he wants to be in trouble constantly with Tim. lol First the premiere and now flirting with a civilian. Tim isn't wrong he could get sued if that flirting goes badly. Stuck with a complaint that could bounce him.

It's going to be interesting to see how he rights this ship. Because with Aaron he had balls with Tim but the dynamic was much different. Aaron had proved himself somewhat before getting there. Where as Texas started there. Should be fun to watch him develop. He has a lot of potential as a character.

Ridley is starting to thrive a little under Lucy. This moment above proving that. Showing you can have empathy and build rapport with the public. He gets this great reply from the man above due to that. It's a very positive interaction and Lucy rewards him for it. I love it.

I hope Lucy wins this whole thing. I really do. God she needs it. I love my Timothy. You all know I would fight to death for him, but Lucy needs this more. I wanna see her win so badly after last year. If this is part of her healing too I'm all for it.

Sadly Seth takes a massive nosedive down. Ahhh training it’s not the for faint of heart. I know it all too well. Been training people for years. Lucy looks so frustrated and I don’t blame her. He fumbled the task pretty badly….Grey just TEARS Ridley a new asshole holy cow. Doesn't hold back in the least with this kid. Lucy stoic by his side. Can’t even look at him. Because she is taking on his failures as her own. Which is why I think she is surprised Grey doesn't tear her one too.

He is much kinder with Lucy than I expected as well. Maybe because I still take my people's failures as my own too. She answers how I would’ve when asked about Seth. Potential with it being too early to tell. Because it is too early. Now for me it’s the learning from failures I see as progress.

You’re afforded a mistake with me; it’s the repeat mistakes of that same issue that start to become a problem. We will see how this kid course corrects during this season. And how Lucy will direct him. It’ll be fascinating to watch.

Of course Tim is right there to gloat about her rookie screwing up. LOL Do we expect anything less during this competition of their's? Now he gives her some damn solid advice to follow up. Letting her know his failures aren't her fault. At least not in the very beginning. That these failure need to be used as teachable moments. Somewhat touching on what I said before. Mistakes are ok at first its learning from them I want to see. To take the failures and use it to make them better.

Lucy is getting legit gold from Tim in this moment. The only person he would share it with I guarantee you. You think he's sharing nuggets of wisdom like that with Nolan? No he isn't. Forever the exception this one. Lucy saying him being enlightened giving me flashback vibes to s1. When she first got a glimpse into this side of him. Saying something very similar to him then.

Their chemistry never ceases to astound me. Adoring the flirty flirts and her smile as he walks away. Love these idiots so much. Yeah you're so over it Lucy. lol Just look at her as he departs. My goodness. She's a ten but terrible at hiding her feelings.

Tim finds Texas just like I knew he would. Can't wear a giant, tent-like bag to work and not make him suspect something is up, my man. Damn Timothy just ripping this kid a new one. It's rough to watch But can’t say I don’t think all of those things when i saw him living in his car…That he's exposed, his car could be stolen, broken into and his service weapon stolen. All very bad things that would get him terminated.

Doesn't help he is financially destitute making him more of a liability to the station. Tim isn't wrong in the least about what problems this poses. He is brutal in his final line absolutely brutal. But he's hoping it'll motivate him to find something better than car. This scene once again showing Lucy was the exception. A running theme in this one for me at least.

This was Tim as a T.O. pre-Lucy. No nonsense whatsoever. She was the ONLY one to get him to soften. To break through. So much so I do believe it bled over to his time with Aaron as well. But this kid is square one for Tim. He has to shape him up or he's not going to make it. Also excited to see where his journey goes this season with Tim.

This sucks for Seth there is no two ways about it. This kid seems to be going through a lot. Has been through a lot as well. But she just had a convo about leaving personal stuff at the door. To focus on his job. Now I couldn't be a cop and do that. I went into a tailspin yesterday at work over a form. It was a government one couldn't see till I got home cause couldn't log in. It distracted me and mine is very much not life and death like his is.

Lucy is wanting to be empathetic, but also knowing she needs to still to be guiding him. Ultimately she is responsible for his safety. Letting him know as such. That he can't keep stuff bottled up like this or it'll be destructive like it already has been. It's fun to watch her navigate this.

I know her gut instinct is to be empathetic and understanding. Which she is. But she also has standards she has to set and hold him to. It's fascinating watching her learning to balance all that. It'll fun to rewatch this in the summer with a much different POV on her T.O. time.

Goodness they’re cute af at the food truck area. Also love this environment being re-introduced. Feels very s1 and I'm here for it. Lucy being baffled by the mistakes of her rookie. Nolan's comment about Nyla was spot on. I can't say didn't do the same as he did. When I got into management and started training people, I apologized to my leader for all the crap and heartache I had caused her as a newbie ha Cracks me up how baffled Lucy is by the mistakes being made.

Tim reminding her rookies don't have common sense LOL Love them continuing this work flirt in front of Nolan. I will say any time their relationship is referred to in the past tense I die a little inside lol No joke. It hurts my soul. I know we're working our way back, but I would be lying if I said it didn't give me a pang of sadness in my stomach.

Maybe this was just me but they were a little saucy. Well Lucy was. Saying whatever gratitude was owed to Tim was paid off while they were dating heh. Was I the only one found that suggestive as hell? LOL I enjoyed it very much if that was the intention. Either way just straight flirting in front of Nolan with no cares in the world. Makes me happy. Look at those dopes above towards the end. Telling smiles. All damn day.

If you wanted to know what continued healing looks like it’s this people. This is going to be a slow climb to get to the top again. They are starting from scratch in so many ways. I mean when Nolan leaves Tim is a little nervous. You can hear it in his voice as he compliments her boot. Who very much did anything but 'Ok.' today. Especially if he was compared to Tim Bradford standards. But this is his connection to her like I said earlier. He misses what they had before. That instant ease and rapport. He misses her.

It's up to him to put the effort in now. To remain in her orbit should she allow him to be there. Which she currently is. They're going to have to be this chill casual vibe to climb their way back to where they were. Going back to their roots is the way to do it. So it's organic and natural. Lucy isn't as open as he is and that's ok. She isn't there yet. Doesn't want to talk about Seth in depth. Deflects back to his rookie instead. This is going to be a slow endeavor to reconciliation.

I don't know everyone's expectation for where they should be right now. But I'm pretty happy with the first two episodes. They have to start over and this is going to be a slow ramp up. Saw something it said 'Good things take time and often, the waiting makes the getting all the sweeter. ' Once we get there going to be so damn sweet. Till then I'm going to enjoy whatever comes our way with them.

ayo idk if this question has been asked before but did you have any character inspirations for nat, reagan and the demon dude? like, were they were inspired by any movie/tv show/video game characters or any ppl irl? ik the demon dude was probably based off of biblical lore (i feel like i heard you mention this, correct me if im wrong) but idk much about nat and reagan and i was wondering if there were any particular aspects that went into their personalities or any specific character designs choices. basically, how did you come up with their personalities and character designs lol. PS love your drawings <3

Tyyy and yep! Rabel was based off of Christian lore along with some other stuff, I talked about it a little before but there's more to it that I can't say at this time muahaha

As for Nat and Regan, I'll talk about them a bit under the cut! Here's the very first designs I made of them lol.

Originally Regan was conceived as a red herring candidate for the demonic possession who was actively seeking an encounter with the occult so I themed her to look kind of spooky and edgy. Over time, that aspect sort of got pushed out by how the plot was coming together and her character became more about opting out of agency over her own life and sitting back while the world around her did its thing, so she kinda morphed into being a disheveled losergirl who wears big clothes.

The idea behind Nat was to go in the opposite direction of Regan's original concept. Someone who looked clean cut and unassuming but felt small and powerless and restrained in every aspect of their life; the actual ideal target for a demon. Only thing that really changed about her is she looks gayer now.

In terms of external influences, there's some Jennifer's body baked into the premise for sure but additionally I'd say that the true sourdough starter for their personalities/dynamic can be traced back to... butterfly soup Noelle and Akarsha..

Hi Logan ☺️☺️☺️ thanks for sending this in. I’m always afraid of writing fluff fics bc like everyone wants the smut, but it’s reassuring to have this put in lol

it’s a sunday and mike just so happens to have the day off. he’s been working long and hard hours and you convinced him to take the day off. you and abby are so excited; you two planned the whole day from the moment you woke up to the time it was time for abby to sleep. unfortunately, it’s rainy and a sudden wind chill swept through. none of you need to get sick and mike didn’t want to make making abby carry an umbrella, so you make the quick decision to stay in. abby’s a little disappointed, but you try to make up for it.

the first thing you and mike do in the morning is make a fort with abby. and not just a little four corners fort. no, she makes you cover the entire living room with blankets. even the tv was included! you and mike are dragged into some play-pretend games. for a lot of them mike’s forced to play some sort of villan.

“why can’t i play the hero, abby?” mike frowns. “because that’s her job!” abby points to you.

mike gives you a look and you shrug. “abby’s the director here. cant fight with the boss.”

mike rolls his eyes, wanting to get out of the humid blankets and sleep, but he knows how happy this makes abby. and even though abby is making him play the bad guy, he knows she means it out of love and he also loves getting to spend as much time with abby as he can. watching you act is pretty cute as well.

once abby gets bored of playing in her fort — which is like 3 hours later — she decides she wants to watch a movie.

“let’s clean up first, yeah?” mike suggests. “no! let’s keep the fort up to watch the movie!” abby says.

“abby, no. we had our fun with the fort. it’s time to turn the house back to normal,” mike says. “please say we can keep the fort up!” abby pouts as she looks up at you.

mike gives you a warning look, but you can’t say no to abby. “let’s just keep the fort up for the movie, yeah?”

abby squeals and wiggles back into the fort. mike glares at you. “she’s never going to want to take it down.”

“she will when it’s time for bed, which is hours away.” you step closer to him, gently putting your hand on his shoulder. “how about i pop some popcorn — the real stuff on the stove — and i make us some hot coca, okay?”

well, who was mike to turn down stove-popped popcorn and hot cocoa. he felt like a little kid again. it doesn’t help that you and abby’s pouty faces were ganging up on him. he sighs in defeat and nods, crossing his arms around his chest.

“fine, but after the movie, we will clean all this up, okay?”

“of course,” you nod. you turn to abby who is lit up with excitement. “can i pick the movie?”

“yep! do you want any popcorn?” you ask her. “yes. can you put m&ms in mine?” she asks. “you got it, babe,” you answer.

you three settle in the fort, abby laying on her stomach right in front of the tv. she chose “Lady and The Tramp”, which was one of her more enjoyable movie choices.

“mike, you’re kind of like the tramp,” abby comments, popping a handful of popcorn and m&ms into her mouth.

you begin to laugh but cover it up with a cough when mike shoots you a glare. “abby, that’s not very nice.”

“he knows it’s true,” she says, kicking her feet up and dangling them in the air. “And you’re like Lady.”

you glance at mike, a small smile on your face. you lean into him, your nose brushing against the scruff on his cheek. “i think what she’s trying to say is that we are perfect for each other.”

the tips of his ears turn pink. he wraps his arm around you, pulling you in so your head rests on his shoulder. “she could’ve said it differently, though.”

you giggle, “nah, i think it’s accurate.” he rolls his eyes, but there’s no denying the smile on his face and twinkle in his eye.

mike ends up falling asleep towards the end of the movie. his head rests on your chest, both arms around your waist to hold you close. your hands are in his hair, massaging his scalp while the credits roll.

“why is he so tired all the time?” abby pouts. “he works a lot,” you say. “but i’m sure he’ll wake up soon. why don’t you help me clean the fort up?”

“do i have to?” abby frowns. “i think mike would appreciate that,” you say.

“ugh, fine. but only if we can have pancakes for dinner.”

you grin and nod, “you got it.”

mike wakes up to the smell of chocolate chip pancakes. he twists and turns on the floor, the sizzle of bacon him bringing him into consciousness. he begins to open his eyes, his back beginning to ache from sleeping on the floor. he hears some giggling coming from the kitchen, sitting himself up on his elbow and peering over the couch. you’re at the stove, a spatula in your hand. abby’s sitting at the table, crayons littering the wood.

“look who’s up!” you exclaim. mike groans softly as he sits up, using the couch as a crutch to stand up. “i’m sorry i fell asleep. between the rain and the pillows —”

“shush,” you cut him off. he walks over to you, wrapping an arm around your waist, his fingers tracing sliver of skin on the small of your back that’s exposed. “i ruined our day.”

“no, you didn’t. right, abs?” you turn to her. “you did snore a lot, but you didn’t,” she says. you smile at mike, “see? all is well.”

“smells good.” he mumbles as he wraps both arms around your waist, placing his chin onto your shoulder.

“me or the food?” you glance at him with a teasing smile. he takes a not-so-nonchalant inhale of your skin. “both,” he answers.

“ew!” abby grimaces behind you two. you and mike both laugh and he presses a kiss to your cheek before pulling away. he brings some plates and silverware out, sitting across from abby and waiting for the food.

mike stares as you two discuss abby’s drawing. he can’t wipe the smiles off of his face. his life was never perfect and he knew it was never going to be, but if he could just keep this — keep you two — he would then be able to call it perfect.

“mike,” abby says with a little pout. “what’s up?” he asks.

“do you have to go back to work tomorrow?” she asks. “i do, but you also have to go back to school,” he states.

“i don’t want to,” she says. mike sighs, the calmness from his body fleeting. “you don’t have a choice, abby. i’m sorry.”

“i… i just mean… i want this day to last forever.”

his eyes widen and glance up at you. you’re rubbing her back soothingly, giving him an encouraging smile.

“maybe we can do something special for dinner again tomorrow,” you suggest. “we can watch a movie and even eat dinner on the couch.”

abby’s face lights up and she nods. “okay! can i pick the movie again?”

“only if you don’t compare me to a dog again,” mike says. abby giggles and puts a forkful of pancakes in her mouth before speaking again. “we’ll see,” she quips.

mike looks back at you, placing his hand inside of yours on the table. your feet slides up his calf, your eyes soft as you look over his face. his heart warms and for the first time in a while, he feels at peace.

Warnings: mentions of murder and taking trophies

This wasn’t good. Not good at all. It was clearly the work of a hunter. A dozen werewolves had been killed in less than two weeks. You had spent your life trying to run from people like them, and here they were. The team could sense your unease, but no one commented.

Each victim was missing a tooth, a canine. Each victim had been killed with a silver bullet to the heart. The teeth were removed after death, the only wound on their bodies being that of the bullet wound. It meant the hunter was mission oriented. It was unnerving. It wasn’t like these people had killed anyone – werewolves very rarely do.

And now, instead of running, you had to go towards the danger. You knew it would probably be fine, the likelihood of the hunter finding out you were also a werewolf was slim to none, but that did little to soothe the anxiety. You couldn’t exactly tell the team – one, they would think you were actually insane, and two, it would just put them in danger.

It wasn’t until the next body that turned up, that Hotch took you to the side. “Whatever you know, you need to tell me.”

“Hotch-“

“(Y/N). I’m sure you have your reasons for keeping it to yourself, but we need to know.”

You study Hotch closely for a moment. “The unsub’s a hunter.”

“We know he hunts his victims like a hunter-“

“No, Hotch. An actual hunter.” You said. “You’re going to think I’m insane for this, but he’s hunting werewolves.”

“Werewolves?”

“Yeah.” You said, watching him closely, waiting for him to laugh, brush you off, or tell you to get a psych eval.

“Prove it.” Is all he says, which you were obviously expecting him to.

You debate internally for a few seconds, trying to figure out if this was really something you wanted to reveal about yourself. You sigh, looking at Hotch, concentrating for a moment and letting your eyes flash yellow

“Holy-“ Hotch takes a step closer, getting a better look at your eyes. “You’re a-?”

“Yeah.” You said.

“Wow…” He said, “For how long?”

“Birth,” You said, giving a small shrug. “For the most part, it runs in families.”

“How so?”

You pause, trying to think of the best way of putting it, letting your eyes return to normal. “It just is. Either you get bitten or your born with it. But one of your parents have to be one.”

“Which one of yours?”

“Both.” You said with a small grin.

“So this hunter, he’s not the only one?”

“No, there’s a lot of them. Hundreds, at least.” You said, “Using silver to get the job done.”

“The silver thing’s actually true?”

You nod, “Yep, and wolf’s bane.” You paused, “You’re not going to try and kill me now, are you?”

Hotch gave a small snort, “No, don’t worry.” He rolled his eyes slightly, “Wait, is that why we found wolf hairs on the bodies?”

“Yeah.” You answer, watching him debate asking a question. “Go for it.”

“If this hunter shoots you with a silver bullet…”

“Oh, I’m gone for.” You said, “Like gone, gone.”

Rolling his eyes slightly, Hotch asked his next question: “Do you, like, turn into a wolf every full moon?”

“That’s a complicated question. It can technically happen any time emotions are high if I don’t, like, control it or whatever. But it’s harder to control on full moons, like I’ll get snappy and agitated. But it always feels better to turn on a full moon – even if it’s just for a little bit.”

“So when Morgan won that arm wrestle…”

“I had to let him have something,” You grinned.

Bound: Long Haul by @wolfpants

As a writer, I often am fondest of my shorter stories, but these fics are not the obvious choice for binding because they're so little. I actually started setting this story a while ago but put the typeset aside when I realized it was going to be such a low page count.

But more recently, I have been experimenting with a pamphlet bind to see if short stories and/or text blocks can be bound to my satisfaction, and yep! They can!

I love this short story by wolfpants and I have read it often enough that it deserved to be bound and put in my library. The story contains lovely delicious smut and (as you'd expect from wolf) excellent character-building, dialogue, and just exactly the right amount of realism. Wolf writes true adult characters and I adore this about their writing.

More about process and materials under the cut!

Materials: This is a quarto letter pamphlet bind using letter-sized 24# paper. The end papers are chiyogami acquired in Montreal. Book boards are actually cut from matte board that came in some packet of supplies or another, about 1 mm thickness and quite a bit bendier than my usual 2 mm book board, but worked nicely and feels appropriate for this little baby.

Book cloth is wooqu off Amazon as per. I sewed the pamphlet using three strands of waxed embroidery floss. Spine is strengthened with mull and a little strip of the same paper as the text block. Cover decoration is HTV vinyl. A few titles are foiled with toner-activated foil and a laminator. (Big shout-out to @sits-bound for technical assistance with figuring out that process!)

Process: This is a sewn 64-page/16 sheet quarto. I followed DAS Bookbinding's YouTube video here pretty closely except (as you can see) I went for a full cloth bind. I also added the paper layer on the spine before wrapping in cloth. I did this because I found mull alone — at least my cheap-ass mull — was not making for a smooth spine. The paper was a huge help on this front.

This is actually my third attempt at this style of binding (not counting the versions I did in class under adult supervision) so please do not be too impressed, lol.

The whole thing is held together by 50/50 corn starch/PVA mix (as well as the thread.)

I trimmed the tail twice by accident so then I had to trim the head twice too, and so that's why my margins are slender. :D

The HTV decoration was designed by yours truly (if you look at it for very long you'll be like "oh yeah I can see that" ahahaha) but I was really pleased with how it came out. I think I'm FINALLY finding my successful approaches for applying HTV. And yes, it was a monumental pain in my ass to weed. Worth it!

Cedric as a yandere would be delusional, soft, clingy, protective and obsessive over the love of his life aka. you. He would always spend time with you no matter what and even if his schedule is packed as hell, he'll still find some time to make for you. For him, not seeing you at least 5 times a day is equivalent to him not breathing. And he won't be able to sleep till he doesn't strike up at least one conversation with you after every class is finished lol

He's polite, charming, handsome and you'd actually be lucky to have this goody two shoes here as a yandere for you. He never wants to see you sad or upset or even have tears in those wonderful eyes of yours for that matter. If you're upset and crying about something it just breaks his heart and he'll start hating himself since he couldn't do anything to protect you and you're suffering because of him. But beware once he does find out the reason as to why you're crying though, I can't see him ACTUALLY murdering someone but he'll put them under the Imperius curse and make them say sorry to you, even if it's Malfoy

The worst this goody two shoes here can do is go as far as manipulation that's it. And using the Imperius curse, but other than that he's not insanely possessive over you when someone talks to you like some other yanderes I know (I'm looking at you ferret boy)

He's also a BIG TIME worshipper for you, he literally worships the ground you walk on. He thinks you're a literal divine angel sent from the heavens above to bless him and grace him with your wonderful presence. You're perfection in his eyes, he can't help but want you all for himself. Of course, he'll understand why other people could also be infatuated with you, you're amazing and so...precious. He literally radiates softness, warmth and love when he's around you, lol I make him sound like the male version of Cupid

As much as he won't ever do anything without your consent, he loves holding your hands, an indication and signal for everyone out there to know that you belong to him and only him, no one else, loves hugging and cuddling with you and will also kiss your hand like a true and fine gentleman. And if you initiate any signs of physical affection with him, he'll feel like he's died and gone to heaven and he'll feel so flustered yet happy at the same time, his heart about to burst from his chest. His darling has finally responded to his love, and now it's time for him to take the next step

Now, he has the idea of asking you out planned very carefully. In case you guys forgot, let me remind you that he's the Golden boy of the Hufflepuff house. Meaning his house is willing to do whatever they can to make him happy and content even if it means getting Cedric closer to you and asking you out no matter which house you're in. They weren't going to Lover's Lake. That had been the one thing everyone agreed on at first. Too much to unpack but it went without saying that no one wanted to relive the memory of what had happened in those waters. They all packed up and went about three hours away to a totally different town with a totally different lake.

"Summer time, a bunch of teens, a town where no one knows us", Eddie commented as they parked. "Did we just drive into another horror movie set up?"

"I think we can handle some random killer in the woods", Jonathan said.

Eddie couldn't argue. He knew for a fact that Steve had packed away his oh so trusty nail bat and that Nancy was strapped too. At a moment's notice, Robin looked ready to turn a beer into a makeshift molotov. But that was the last thought he wasted on the spring break from hell. Because the moment everything was set up, Steve pulled his shirt off like he was in a goddamn cologne ad.

That unnecessarily sexy way where he grabbed it off his back and pulled it of, shaking out his hair as if it would dare to fall out of place.

So here's the thing.

Eddie saw Steve shirtless that one time back in Hawkins. But it had been dark, and they were on a boat hunting an evil wizard and then in an underworld running from demon bats and there had been a lot going on, okay? He's ogled Steve plenty since then, now that he had time to, but he hadn't had an opportunity to see his naked chest again.

"Put on sunscreen!", Robin shouted, tossing it at Steve's head.

"Ow! Rude!" Steve picked it up and obeyed anyway, starting at his arms. Time seemed to slow. Or maybe Steve was purposely going slow, it was hard to tell. Then his eyes met Eddie and his next stroke up towards his neck seemed very intentional.

Eddie swallowed.

"Mind getting my back?", Steve asked.

Eddie didn't trust his mouth for once, so he just nodded, taking the tube of sunscreen and was definitely not thinking about squirting another kind of creamy white substance onto this beautifully dotted back. He tried to distract himself by looking at what the others were doing. Jonathan had already lit up a joint that he was now passing to Nancy. Robin was laid out in a chair, nose in a book.

Argyle was leading the kids down the shore to where they could rent out canoes. Or was it kayaks? All Eddie knew was that El was adamant on some sort of boating adventure.

"You okay back there?", Steve asked.

"Yep, yup, mhm. Almost done." He was done. The sunscreen was completely gone and he was just rubbing circles into his skin for no reason.

"You mind doing my chest too?"

"Wh-hat?", Eddie choked.

"I don't really like the feel of sunscreen on my hands", Steve justified and that was good enough for Eddie.

He still wasn't prepared for when Steve turned around. Eddie sat between his legs and god this might've been the closest they've ever been. Especially with this little amount of clothes between them, both of them in their swimming trunks and nothing else. Eddie squeezed some sunscreen onto his hands first, rubbing them together and warming it before pressing them to Steve's chest.

Goddamn it felt so....would it get thicker as he got older? It went all the way up to his collarbone and there was just a hint of a happy trail now but maybe with some time...

"They do know we're still here, right?", Nancy asked after letting out a puff. True, they were some feet away but still.

"I've got a spray bottle in case they go below the waist", Robin said, shaking said bottle.

There was a very specific moment in my life that I could pinpoint as the exact second when I realized Dean Winchester might be a terrible influence on me.

It was years back, during one of our rare breaks from hunting. We were in some sleepy little town, the kind where the biggest attraction was a “World’s Largest Ball of Twine” or something equally ridiculous. The day had been slow, and we’d been on the road for what felt like forever. Sam was buried in a stack of research, as usual, and Dean and I? Well, we were bored out of our minds. That’s when I suggested, half jokingly, “Why don’t we hit up Costco?”

Dean, ever the thrill-seeker, instantly perked up. “What, like, for real?”

And thus began our now-famous Costco adventures.

Now, months later, here I was again, sitting in the backseat of the Impala, eyes wide and sparkling as I glanced out at the road ahead. I already knew what was coming. Sam, who was still focused on the case in his lap, wouldn’t see it coming until it was too late.

But I had plans. Plans involving wholesale and samples. I’d thought about it for a while—just the idea of Dean and me gorging ourselves on all the free samples was too good to resist. And I could already feel my mischievous grin creeping up.

"Hey, Dean," I said, the words dripping with anticipation.

He glanced up from the radio dial, already sensing something was coming. “Yeah?”

I didn’t even try to hold it in. I let out a giggle and said, “I’ve got a craving for Costco.”

Dean didn’t flinch. He didn’t even blink. He just turned his head slightly toward me, his eyes lighting up with recognition. “Costco? Oh, you mean...”

I grinned. “Yep. Samples.”

Dean’s grin matched mine in an instant. He didn’t need more explanation. He knew exactly what I was talking about. “Hell yeah. I’m in and I’m always in for hitting up the best food court in all of America after.”

"Yes! Costco hot dogs for the win!" I shouted, unable to contain the excitement bubbling up inside me.

Sam, who had been completely zoned into his case notes in the driver’s seat, suddenly glanced at us through the rearview mirror. “Wait... what?”

I couldn’t hold it in any longer. I burst into giggles, Dean doing the same, as we both looked at Sam like we were planning the most genius heist ever.

“Sammy, you’re not telling me you’re not on board for the Costco Sample Run?” Dean asked, practically bouncing in his seat.

Sam blinked a couple of times, trying to process the information. “Costco? You’re both... serious right now?”

I could barely breathe between my laughter. “You should really join us, Sammy.”

Dean shrugged like it was the most obvious thing in the world. “Seriously, Sam. It's free samples. Then we hit up the food court. You in?”

Sam glanced between us, his expression shifting from incredulous to exasperated. “You two are... crazy. But I swear, every time you get an idea in your head...”

I shot back at him, “You know you want to, Sammy.”

Sam rolled his eyes but didn’t say anything else. He just muttered under his breath while Dean turned the wheel toward the nearest Costco parking lot.

Once we parked, Dean was already out of the car before I even fully unbuckled my seatbelt. The air smelled faintly wholesale delight. I jumped out of the car, following him inside with a grin on my face so wide it felt like my cheeks might split open.

“Alright, let’s make this quick,” I whispered conspiratorially to Dean as we walked through the sliding doors. “We don’t want to miss any good ones.”

I didn’t even need to say anything else. We both knew we were in this for the long haul now. Sample station after sample station, we attacked them all—shrimp skewers, cheese sticks, mini quiches. It was a marathon, and we were winning.

At one point, we hit the dreaded “protein bar” stand, where the bars looked suspiciously like they had been made out of recycled cardboard. I knew Sammy would like this. The worker was cheerfully handing out tiny pieces, and I could feel both my stomach and my sense of humor brace for impact.

Sam sighed, his lips twitching into a reluctant smile. “You’re both insane.” But even Sam couldn’t stay grumpy. As we sat there, devouring more hot dogs than I thought was humanly possible, I realized how much this little moment meant. I groaned, rolling my eyes. “Ew, Dean.”

He just gave me a wicked grin. “What? A guy can’t dream?”

“You’re gross,” I said, slapping his arm lightly, though I couldn’t keep the laugh from creeping into my voice.

“I’m just saying,” Dean leaned in, elbows on the table. “If I’m going to put my life on the line, it’d be nice if I got something out of it.”

I gave him a pointed look, narrowing my eyes. “You're seriously gross.”

Dean just grinned wider, not even a little bit fazed. “Alright, let’s head out.”

We all stood up, gathering our trays and trash, tossing them into the bin before walking toward the door.

As we walked toward the Impala, I couldn’t help but elbow Dean with a grin, giving him a subtle nod toward my pockets. He caught my drift instantly and by the time we made our way to the car, we were giddy. There was something about the utter absurdity of it all—Dean and me, sneaking around, grabbing the bars while the worker wasn’t looking, then sneaking them into our pockets—that just felt right.

Predaking

He hates this, he's very upset. He dislikes the feeling of being so small and weak, and he inadvertently throws a lot of insults your way without another thought. He'll sulk and sulk and sulk until you point out good things, like it'll be a good learning experience for the two of you, and it could possibly help yourselves better understand one another. Only then will he admit that he sees why you enjoy sitting on his shoulder so much.

Aside from feeling a thousand times smaller, another thing he hates about being so small is the great difficulty that comes with getting around on his own. With his altmode he was able to traverse the sky and land with ease, but now it takes eons to make it somewhere, and he hates it that he gets tired much quicker.

But on the positive side of things, he does take this as a learning experience, and he takes this time to see if somethings he thought about humans are true or if they aren't. Of course he could've just asked you about them, but he was a little shy about it. Some of his questions were about human food, and some are about your home. Speaking of your home, he's definitely poking around out of curiosity. He's gonna pat your mattress and try laying down on it, he's gonna look in your fridge and take a bite of a stick of butter because he thought that was food... He's sorta like a curious cat, minus all the knocking stuff off tables.

Of course after the entire ordeal has been resolved and whatnot, he'll finally truly understand what you go through on a day-to-day basis around him, and he'll respect that you have to deal with such hardships all on your own.

Megatron

Yep. You're right. He's more than upset about this occurrence, and refuses to leave his habitation suite until shockwave finds a way to reverse it. He plans on letting Starscream command the decepticons while he plans on sulking in his room all day. With you in there with him. because he doesn't really want you going out and embarrassing him.

But if you wanna go out and see what it's like to be his height, it'll take a bit of convincing, but he'll allow you to go and walk around only for a bit. Surprisingly, there isn't any need to persuade him to come with you, he's coming on his own accord but only so he can keep an eye on things. It's certainly strange for him to sit on your—or... His? Shoulder? But he does it anyway because he hates feeling so small and weak—but that isn't to say that you are small and weak... He just feels very vulnerable in general.

Ironically, the rest of the Nemesis are a lot more scared about this than you'd expect. It's as if they're walking on eggshells around Megatron because the whole situation has got him in such a bad mood. And, if you have a good reputation aboard the Nemesis and treat everyone nicely, it's certainly baffling for everyone to see their high and mighty lord "Megatron" acting so nice. It's an unusual, but welcomed change.

After the entire ordeal, he certainly has a newfound respect for you. He hadn't realized how difficult and annoying it was to get around the Nemesis at such a small size. He tried climbing onto a table and it took him 30 minutes to get to the top. Not to mention he never truly understood the feeling of being ignored and overlooked the same way you do.

Wheeljack

He isn't as upset about this as other two are, but he's still a bit annoyed. He feels like he's completely stripped of his freedom now, and he thinks that sucks. If he wants to go do something, you can bet he's gonna go do it no matter what he's told. Despite the fact he's like a million percent more fragile and squishy now, his lack of self-preservation remains all the same, and honestly don't be surprised if he agrees to let Miko help him sneak out.

But that aside, he wants you to experience what it's like being a cybertronian (minus the whole war-fighting thing, of course) but the team most likely wants you to stay in the base while they try to find a way to reverse what's happened. Still, that doesn't stop him from trying to teach you how to transform, much to everyone else's misfortune.

Also in the millions of millions of years that he's existed, it has never been easier for him to squeeze into a small spot. With his acrobatic abilities (albeit dampened a little, due to your own strength) and your size? You bet he's milking this for all it's worth. He isn't afraid of climbing up onto things if he has to, or jumping off things because he's used to doing crazy stuff like that. You'll probably have to catch him more than once because he jumps down from a spot that's too high for a human body to escape from unscathed, so honestly at this point you should just keep holding him and bring him around with you as you would a pet.

Anyway, after all this he tries to stick up for your more and support you. I mean he already has ever since the two of you became a couple, but now that he knows how it feels to be overlooked and have so little freedom in your position, y'know.
