Red Drill Ball!

Here's the other Drill Ball variant, the red one! This Red Drill Ball acts the same as the Yellow Drill Ball, with the main difference being that it gives the Sleep ability instead of Hammer. Heavy Mole's fight is an autoscroller, so getting Sleep, an ability that forces Kirby to lie still on the ground for a few seconds, is not very good. It's a funny thing to do to the player, but it's basically only effective once, unless you really mess up. To accompany the Red Drill Balls silly little prank, it wears a gleeful expression in contrast to the Yellow Drill Ball's more simple one. The red coloration also matches up with Heavy Mole's red saw blades, so there's some good color cohesiveness going around.

Yes, that is actually a modified version of Kit's outfit. She's literally just an OCverse version of Gadget, so I figured I'd use that instead of her original... "outfit".

I'm still using her old boots, tho. The fact they all go together isn't too surprising, but I love it. :3

However, when he passed Lion Camel Ridge on his way to protect Tang Seng to learn scriptures in the West, Sun Wukong was afraid, and here, he even cried twice in a row. So, how terrifying is Lion Camel Ridge? How could Sun Wukong be so scared?

Lion Camel Ridge is a personal hell, and it is even worse than the bloody scenes of the 18th hell in the underworld. Yo, I'm listening to the Sonic Colors DS OST and all I remember is me dancing like an absolute crackhead maniac and blasting the Yellow Drill theme in my room. While I was in drill mode, I would pause the game and let the Yellow Drill theme play repeatedly.

Yellow Drill Ball!

This little thing is one of two Drill Balls, which are enemies sent out by Heavy Mole during it's boss fight. They're kinda missile shaped, but they're most likely supposed to be some kind of tunnel boring machine, as they're capable of digging right through terrain just like Heavy Mole is! The Drill Balls are Kirby's only method of damaging Heavy Mole if you didn't enter the fight with an ability already. You can spit the Drill Balls out the easy way, or you can inhale them to get an ability! The reason why "Yellow" is being noted in this guy's name is because there's also a Red Drill Ball! They give different Copy Abilities, with this Yellow one giving Hammer. Drill ball doesn't really represent Hammer that well, but Hammer is capable of breaking the terrain in the Heavy Mole fight, so they likely just wanted an excuse to give it to the player. In their original NES sprite, the Yellow Drill Ball had a sorta eye-half-closed look that was similar to Heavy Mole themselves, while in Nightmare in Dream Land their eye is more wide open. Their yellow coloring makes them closely resemble Heavy Mole as well.
