I feel like 99% of the Silmarillion fans forget that Fëanor was actually a very likeable guy for most of his life.

That is literally a significant part of why people followed him. A lot of people loved and admired him. He wasn't mean to random people, and definitely not "a toxic husband/father." The whole point of his story is that he was universally beloved, which is what made his fall so impactful.

(copy pasting this from twitter) been thinking a lot about demisexual luffy and how ppl don't really do anything with that. i mostly see that tag under smut oneshots, it kind of sound like "i acknowledge he's often hc as ace and i like the hc but i need him to fuck and Want here" and the most we get about that is a single "i've never felt like this, not for anyone, Only You." and that's it!!

do y'all not know what you could do with that hc? do you not realize the potential? i don't think you fully thought out the "never felt like this" part, imagine him spending his entire life hearing about feelings he's told he should have but don't, about experiences he's cut out from, the alienation. it's luffy though so he'd shrug it off, this isn't anything he gives a shit about but then the feelings find him.

and it's /luffy/ so of course the feelings finds him like a truck does a roadkill. he has no frame or reference, no experience, no clue on how to cope with those. he'd be a Mess. you could have him a starved man feeling hunger for the first time, have fun with it damnit!!

i know this is coming from the I Love Fear Exploration Guy but pls consider writing attraction like it's a scary thing, have him freak out about how overwhelming and alien it all is to him!! let him be consumed by it, i don't know!! he wouldn't feel bad about it but it /is/ new!

but this isn't just about attraction, you can literally chose whether or not he'd even ever experienced having a libido before that and idem if it's all new to him. you could even have him Not have a libido but an attraction that is much more vague yet still so so much!!

like i don't care about sex as an act, i want to know how the characters feels about the everything about & around it! there's so much potential with demi luffy (and just asexual sex in general also) do more with it! if you're allo it could be a fun opportunity to look back on your own first few experiences with attraction and go crazy with it, luffy's a go big or go home guy, c'mon!!

AUGHHHH i just learned about a new game with ghost yuri and i fell for it hook, line and sinkerrr... i couldn't stop thinking about it, so i drew rinniki as the main duo. god i'm bad at mimicking other people's artstyles.

The whole window thing had been a joke originally. The best time-saving solution was to have the builder himself do it, but said builder and husband was out of commission for a while. Okay, cool.

Now Quackity has to wonder if Slime is actually going to come over under the idea of replacing glass. Quackity, as weird as it sounded, did like Slime’s company. Changing glass though?

Quackity was bad enough on her own. Quackity and Slime were a bit of a messy duo. Asking Slime to replace the glass had been a joke- more of a scheme to hangout. The other might be busy in some way? Maybe? But then that defeats the purpose of all of this. She couldn’t just not replace them though. Last thing she wanted was a thief to get in the house. Not that she had much of value. Luzu maybe, hard maybe.

Pacing in circles in the living room was a rather effective way to avoid shattering a glass pane. All the replacements were laid against the wall as Quackity spent more time debating fixing them over actually fixing them.

Cass's morality is so good to analyze because of how pure it is. Her goal every night is to do good and stop anyone from dying. It's that pure core that cannot be shaken and then what makes it interesting is that the world is complicated. Systems of justice exist and people have different reactions to the thought of death and killing and Cass's morality is so focused on this clear cut goal that it never goes beyond that scope.

She will let a killer walk because she sees he is horrified and regrets it just as easily as she will leave a serial killer to be locked in jail just as soon as she will break an assassin out of CIA custody because she sees some good in him. The laws and rules of society do not dictate her moral code. She works with them when it's convenient and ignores them when they are not. There is no big picture for her beyond "Nobody dies", everything she does is focused around helping every individual she can. And when she is confronted with something that she cannot ignore or help with it shakes her so badly.

It's a gut punch. It's horrifying. There is no easy solution or answer and her moral code cannot bend every single issue in the world to her will. The systems don't matter (The law sentenced this man to die), but the people do (This woman lost her child and wants the murderer dead).

She goes out the next day and keeps trying anyway. There is no one size fits all approach to justice that everyone will agree on and can fix everything. But she knows the value of life and she has to keep fighting for it regardless.
