A credit scene in which we see a stressed Kate Bishop pacing in her apartment, talking to a pair of dogs who seem unimpressed.

“I know it’s been a week but I swear I’m going to figure out how you ended up in my apartment Fanny. Or at least, I’m pretty sure your name is Fanny since the only other thing written on your tag is ‘Don’t bother trying to find me, I will find you’.”

“ Which just makes me even more concerned over who exactly has broken into my apartment this time. I like to be aware of who’s breaking into my apartment. Maybe there’s something in the security footage I missed.”

In the past week, I've come out as aroace to my family. Here's a couple thoughts I had on how that went

Almost immediately my sis was like "Like Yelena from Black Widow?" and my dad was like "Like Todd from Bojack Horseman?" And I was able to say' yes, like that' which help explained a lot of the basic stuff to them. It was the perfect example of how representation is important and introduces people to new identities/ideas that could become relevant in their lives. Idk I thought it was really interesting how they both immediately thought of fictional characters they had seen with that identity. Representation is important, people!

The second thing is after I had explained everything, my dad said, "So that narrows your dating pool quite a bit, doesn't it? You have to find someone who doesn't like sex or romance," and I said "....yesss..." bc I was thinking of qprs but I'm still not 100% sure he understands lol

This is like the fifth gala Bucky has been to in the past three months and he hates it. The draining exhaustion he feels as he's subjected to rich folk droning on about stock and investments, something Bucky has never once been interested in despite what some people online say. He hears from Kate, Yelena's friend?, that some dude bros on the internet insist that he is the straightest guy on earth save for the all mighty Steve Rogers - though the fond and very gay memories he has of Steve would beg to differ - and Bucky laughs it off, the forecast of Yelena's laughing falling dimly into the background.

Besides their droning, Bucky thinks, knows, he's never met a group of people more ignorant than the rich dicks that are currently talking - well trying to talk - his ear off about how health insurance should be upping their prices. Bucky suppresses a groan as they talk, not a single dint in these assholes' pockets. Just as his thoughts drift to throwing a certain previous Captain America through a wall, something captures Bucky's attention, someone, a certain gap tooth smile, dark muscled skin hidden underneath a suit that makes sure Bucky's heart quickens and there is a certain twitch in his pants. Bucky doesn't mean to, but his legs are already moving and his conversation has long since been abounded.

Marvel Pride Icons: Yelena Belova

I was going to save Yelena for tomorrow's Aroace Headcanon of the Day, but it wouldn't really count as she's canonically Aroace.

I don't really have anything else to say for this post. But all I'll say is that I plan on making more Pride icons using Marvel characters.

It's actually really disheartening how little people care about aroace representation and how readily they erase it, especially when that seeps into the media canon itself.
