As someone who, during my teenage years at school, hung out with eight guys and only had female friends outside of school, I have to say that none of my friends ever attempted homicide or publicly stripped anyone. Neither did any of the other boys in my grade (35 per class, with three classes in total) nor anyone in the grades above or below mine.
So, assuming that just because you’re a teenage boy, you’re more likely to be a piece of shit is a ridiculously crude and patriarchal way of justifying violence. I can assure you that I’ve known rich kids with yachts who never once considered publicly stripping someone and choking them at 15 just for existing. The level of hypocrisy in justifying clearly antisocial behavior is downright insulting.
Did the people who like to paint (non-deatheater) characters as evil villains ever go to high school? They’re average teenagers, like yes they suck absolutely, but I saw 15 year olds do worse things every day. Every single person I know who grew up as a boy has said they were terrible people at age 15. I won’t defend anything they did but like relax.

please remember that it is a compliment to be disliked by people. most people don’t even like themselves. think about why you even want to be liked by somebody. why do YOU like YOURSELF?? why give a fuck about whether or not somebody with so much work to do on themselves doesn’t like you? they literally do not even like themselves. they can’t genuinely “like” you.
#mine#so tired of people who literally only know to people please#‘people pleaser’ is such a joke of a phrase bc they’re literally the most disappointing people i know#they don’t respect themselves#they live in such a way that is so repulsive to me it literally gives me euphoria to know they dislike me#call me names lie about me tell me you never wanna see me again#it’s literally bliss#like what do they expect?#for me to cry on the floor and beg them to love me?? i am not a fucking codependent like everyone else you know#i’m not gonna fucking fawn over you after you mistreat me#and of course no one else will defend me bc they’re all cowards too#afraid to not be on the narcissist’s team#bc the only other team has literally one player and that’s the scapegoat / truth teller#literally who tf wants to go against the narc?? nobody!! that’s why they think i’m stupid#it’s a blessing to be hated by cowards#it’s a sign you’re doing at least one thing right#acoa#family systems#codependency#narcissitic abuse#sick & tired of people living in these beat-around-the-bush type relationships where they are never direct and they are never happy#they don’t actually CARE about each other#they just want to be comfortable!!!#well it’s not COMFORTABLE to grow#‘you’re not the same person you used to be’ yeah well you’re EXACTLY THE SAME!!!#i love when people think that’s an insult#go ahead and tell on yourself#you have never changed or grown or confronted the ways that you treat people#i’m over it#it’s such a joke when these people try to talk to you

Joey in Redeeming 6 , was not a good brother imo . Other than the fact he was away more than he was there at the house , he left the note only for Aoife and refused to talk to anyone but her when he was in rehab . Darren was completely right about them having a codependent toxic relationship .
I felt so bad for Shan and the boys when he refused to speak to them .
this is super complicated and i honestly feel like i don’t remember enough of the details to really comment on it tbh. but im still going to because duhhhh i love to give my opinions and this time it isn’t even unsolicited
i do think you’re being WAY too harsh on joey. of course he was a bad brother….he was battling a drug addiction! typically addicts are not known for being stable forces in their families but it’s not something that’s not redeemable (no pun intended - especially considering this isn’t really a pun) or understandable or forgivable considering his HORRENDOUS life circumstances
the whole point is kind of that he was bad but he was doing his best and also that he never should’ve been put in the position to face that struggle. you aren’t supposed to think he’s perfect or never did anything wrong when it came to the way he raised the kids and his life choices but there’s nuance in there beyond “he is a bad brother”. it’s complicated on purpose and you’re ignoring so many levels of what was going on
also you can’t read a series like boys of tommen and then be mad that there’s a codependent toxic relationship 😭😭😭 this is what you signed up for and if you don’t like it that’s totally fine but you should go find another genre outside of this specific romance subset
also, darren doesn’t get to speak on ANYTHING imo. he shows up in the final hour to try and control joey’s life and criticize his relationship to the one person that actually supported him??? maybe if darren had been there for joey he wouldn’t have developed an addiction or an unhealthy attachment to one singular person but that was not the case….darren should never have been there criticizing joey for problems that darren directly caused. if it seemed like he was actually trying to help joey and present actual solutions that would be different. instead he just berated and blamed joey for everything that went wrong which is so beyond insensitive and problematic. medical professionals were recommending one thing for joey and darren was refusing to take their advice because of what HE thought was best….🙄 fuck off. as if he ever did what was best for his siblings his whole entire life….dont ever defend darren to me that man SUCKS
#sorry i don’t even like this series but sometimes internet discussions of addicts drive me bananas#actually not sometimes all the time#i will NEVER forget the way people talked about daisy jones when the show was airing omfg#and i shouldn’t say people i should say camila stans#also lily calloway 💔#needless to say even though i don’t like bot this is a touchy subject for me in general#and i WILL defend joey#the guy grew up in an abusive household and was poor and was abandoned by his older brother which is ouch on its own#but then that forced him to take on the burdens of an entire household and provide for his mother and take care of his baby siblings#all while he was like 12 or 13. give him a break. who WOULDNT turn to drugs#those kids were hearing their dad rape their mom on a regular basis and now you’re turning around like ‘he was a bad brother for getting#addicted to heroin’ BYEEEEEEEEEEE#yeah he was not always the best brother but it wasn’t his job to be. he was ALL they had#he was so drugged up and STILL was the best parental figure those kids had#you want to say joey was a bad brother when darren was the one that LEFT? when their father was ABUSIVE? cmon now#i say this as an oldest sister to FIVE little sisters i would NEVER and i mean NEVER do what darren did#he shouldn’t have been in that position either but he WAS and unlike joey he was significantly older and an ACTUAL ADULT#like thats the key difference here is that while NO older sibling should be in a position where they need to RAISE their younger siblings#let alone while they live in a house with their abusive parents#one of them was 18 and the other one was 12. it’s OBVIOUS who that responsibility should’ve gone to#and darren was AWFUL for abandoning them. if joey had been the 18 year old he would’ve gotten custody of those kids and given EVERYTHING to#provide for them. he would have found a way. darren never even tried#asks#anonymous

Exhibit 1 of people in this fandom basing their forgiveness of a character’s crimes based on how much they’ve suffered.
the strangest thing to me about the BSD fandom is the fact that the vast majority of people in it are dazai fans, while also consistently assuming the absolute worst of him, disregarding the circumstances around his actions and giving him no grace or consideration of his situation whatsoever.
there's no doubt dazai is a bad person in many ways. he did plenty of unjustifiable, inexcusable things. he's pathologically manipulative with a totally skewed moral compass, most of which was undoubtedly brought on by his upbringing in the mafia. but at the same time, i see such a huge number of people taking that and somehow ending up with - and vehemently defending - this idea that he's a remorseless, indifferent, innately cruel person by nature?
are we forgetting this is the same dazai who was forced to false-witness a murder at fourteen years old? the same dazai who already wracked up numerous suicide attempts barely out of his pre-teens?the same dazai who was referred to by everyone around him as a 'demon' at fifteen years old? the same dazai consistently described as having grief-filled, empty expressions and detached, vacant reactions to practically everything when he was so young? the same dazai that oda described as "a child crying in the dark, alone, left to fend for himself with a hole in his heart as large as the world itself"?
that dazai is an indifferent, heartless, innately psychopathic person? really? i'm not convinced.
#it reads as “he’s bad but he wasn’t born that way so if you acknowledge him for the cruel horrible person he is you’re misinterpreting him’#but unless they’re bringing philosophical arguments of ‘actually people can be born bad’ (which I haven’t seen) NOBODY is saying Dazai was#predisposed to be the way he is. He just is the way he is which is horrible. and this is like ‘well yeah but if someone was made to become#that way if someone became that way due to trauma give them grace’ I am not God and this fictional character isn’t a real person. Let’s talk#about them truthfully and honestly. And I don’t even believe he’s all bad so by fandom standards I guess I am giving him grace by defending#him from haters who see no good whatsoever in him. It’s about the truth not about whether you love him or hate him.#and no amount of ‘oh he had to witness a murder as a teen. oh he was suicidal’ will ever excuse or justify why he does the things he does.#and if you (general fandom not OP specifically) werent trying to excuse or justify it why should anyone give a damn about what he went#through? it’s still says everything about him that he chose to repeat the cycle of abuse instead of breaking it that he still chooses to be#an asshole. all in a series that has characters who also suffer and don’t do that (the MC!)#I’m starting a series because I’ve mentioned it before but that’s not enough I need documentation to point back to (I feel like I’m the only#one who sees this and it’s driving me crazy).#it will feature multiple characters don’t worry#the tag for it is#//#tragic backstory = redemption arc

Hate your guts (pt 2)
~ bcs tumblr hates me i had to divide this into two parts, here is part 1
pairing: rockstar!hyunjin x rockstar afab!reader
genre: enemies to lovers, fluff, smut
wc: 26.6k
synopsis: hwang hyunjin, your sworn enemy. the person who finds and pushes all your buttons, annoys you and makes you angry. the person you're trying to avoid so badly, only to end up practically sharing a bed with him on tour. let the fun begin!
warnings: lots of swearing, smoking and alcohol, mentions of blood and throwing up, mild violence, multiple sex scenes, unprotected sex, oral (f and m), fingering, handjob, semi-public sex, spanking, creampies, mix of degradation and praise
a/n: so... tumblr kept screwing me bcs of the formatting and i'm never writing in google docs again🙃
The next morning as you woke up, you were confused.
There was someone behind you, their arms wrapped around you as their breath kept hitting your neck.
You almost started screaming as you squirmed but the arms tightened around you.
“Relax, it’s just me.”
“Hyunjin! What the hell?” you whined, trying to get out of his grasp.
“I had a nightmare so I came back.” he nuzzled into you and you tried to move away, realizing then that his leg was thrown over you and you were essentially caged.
“How did you get into my room?” you questioned.
“I stole your key when you threw me out.” Hyunjin answered nonchalantly.
“You little criminal.” you frowned, trying to get out of his deadly clutch again.
“Let go, Hyunjin.”
“Mm… no.”
“Hyunjin, I’m warning you.”
You felt his smile against the back of your neck.
“Let me hold you for a little while.” he said.
“You held me against my will since you sneaked back in.” you fought against him.
“Stop squirming!” Hyunjin almost laid down on top of you as you whined.
Thankfully, a knock on the door saved you.
“Let me get the door at least.”
Hyunjin groaned as the knocks persisted before letting you go.
“Fine, you’re free.” he pouted.
You opened the door and Brendon was on the other side.
“Oh, hey B.” you said.
“Hey. Is Hyunjin in there with you? We can’t find him.”
“Oh yeah, he’s here.” you confirmed.
“Oh.” Brendon smirked.
“It’s nothing like that!” you felt the need to defend yourself instantly.
“Mhm. Sure. Well, Aiden and I are gonna get some breakfast so you guys can join us if you want.”
“Sure, we’ll be down soon.”
“See ya.” Brendon winked before you closed the door.
You made your way back to your bed and the sight made you melt.
In your rush to get away from Hyunjin and open the door, you didn’t see he brought his teddy bear with him, the plushie friend leaned on the other pillow that was untouched.
Hyunjin was sleeping on your side, hogging your pillow and blanket like there wasn’t enough space, and what’s worse he didn’t have a shirt on and your face became profusely red in a millisecond.
“Hyunjin, wake up, we’re gonna get breakfast with the guys.” you shook him lightly.
He muttered but never moved.
“Hyunjin! Wake up!” you shook him again.
“Stop calling me Hyunjin!” he turned towards you suddenly and you laughed at his cute swollen face and his disheveled hair.
“That’s your name, silly.” you said.
“Give me a nickname. Hyunjin sounds too formal. Unless you’re moaning it.” he smirked and you decided to put use to the other pillow and smack him with it.
“Ow.” he whimpered. “Did you see that teddy? She’s abusing me.”
“Let’s go.” you rolled your eyes as he pouted.
Getting breakfast with Aiden and Brendon proved to be a mistake as they teased you constantly.
“You two finally shacking up, huh?” Aiden smirked.
“We are far from shacking up.” you grimaced and Hyunjin laughed.
“You’ve warmed up to me, admit it.” Hyunjin wiggled his eyebrows as he leaned in close to your face.
“Not admitting anything unless a lawyer is present.” you smirked.
“Fine, don’t.” he smirked back.
“Actually, I went to law school shortly so-”
“Brendon, shut the fuck up.” you said as everyone laughed.
“How about we hit the town?” Aiden suggested after breakfast and everyone agreed.
You spent the day sightseeing (and getting stopped by fans occasionally) and Hyunjin insisted on taking as many pictures as he could to capture the happy memories.
By the time you got to your room, it was almost night and you were exhausted.
“Oh, hello there.” you saw Hyunjin’s teddy on your bed, which meant he probably left it to have a reason to come back to your room.
You were expecting him to come in any minute, but as you showered and laid down, it was quiet.
You almost fell asleep, the buzzing of your phone startling you.
asshole<3: hey pretty, are you asleep
you: not anymore, what do you want
asshole<3: put your bathing suit on (or don’t) but i’m taking you to a night swim in the pool
you: no you’re not, i’m going back to sleep.
asshole<3: no we’re going swimming baby. i’m in front of your door
you: why don’t you just come in? breaking and entering seems like your thing.
It was quiet for a moment, before you heard the keycard beeping and the door opening.
“It’s not breaking and entering when I have a key, just so you know.” Hyunjin walked in nonchalantly, throwing his towel over the chair.
“Did you get a spare key for my room?” you sat up in your bed, turning the lamp on.
“Yeah, I told the desk lady you’re my girlfriend. She wouldn’t budge in the beginning but I charmed my way into getting the key.” he smiled smugly as he sat down next to you.
“Of course you did.” you rolled your eyes.
“Aw, were you hugging teddy?” Hyunjin smiled, pointing to his friend who was laid next to you. “I’m so glad you two are getting along.”
“He looked lonely.” you shrugged.
“Don’t I look lonely too?” Hyunjin pouted and you made a disgusted face.
“Please, don’t do that.” you got up as Hyunjin’s eyes followed you.
“Are you gonna put your bathing suit on?”
“Yes, in the bathroom.” you rummaged through your things and Hyunjin chuckled.
“I mean, we can go skinny-dipping too.” he added.
“Yeah right.” you gave him a look before making your way to the bathroom.
The two of you finally made your way to the pool, sneaking around as it was late.
It made you feel like you were a couple of teenagers looking for a place to fuck.
There was something in the air, you felt it as Hyunjin walked close to you, his eyes wandering to you constantly.
When you made it to the pool, both of you stripped without hesitation and Hyunjin’s lips parted as he started eye-fucking you openly.
“Close your mouth, you’ll catch flies.” you smirked.
“Not if I put my mouth to some better use.” he smirked back and you rolled your eyes as you made your way towards the water.
“Come on, you invited me here, what are you waiting for?” you said and Hyunjin followed you, both of you getting in.
“Fuck, it’s cold.” you hissed and Hyunjin floated closer to you.
“We’ll warm up.” he came up behind you, his arms wrapping around your middle.
“I thought we were swimming.” you craned your neck, trying to look at him.
“We are.” Hyunjin nosed your cheek, before brushing his lips against your skin briefly, his lip ring scratching you pleasantly.
“H-Hyunjin.” you turned around as he released you and his face was unreadable.
“What?” you asked.
“Nothing.” he said, a sly smile spreading on his face as he lifted his hand and splashed you.
“Asshole!” you laughed, splashing him back.
“Ooh, I haven’t heard that one in a while.” Hyunjin bit on his lip, playing with his piercing shortly as he got closer again.
You squealed and swam away so he started swimming after you.
“You know I used to compete in swimming? It’s futile trying to escape.” Hyunjin said as he kept coming closer.
You screamed, laughing as he grabbed your ankle and pulled you into him before he cornered you against the edge of the pool.
“I’m gonna kiss you now. You can push me away if you don’t want it and I won’t bother you again.” he started, his hand touching your waist tentatively. “Unless you ask of course.” he smirked. “The point is, if you let me kiss you it’ll be hard for me to control myself.”
“How so?” you smirked, your hand touching his arm, as you ran it up to his shoulder.
“You can’t be that blind, y/n. I’ve always wanted you.” hearing him say that made you shiver in anticipation as your bodies got even closer.
“Oh yeah? Show me.” you teased, brushing your lips against his.
Hyunjin’s eyes widened for a moment as he squeezed your waist before he gave you his famous smirk.
You leaned in and met him in the middle as your lips pressed against each other’s, his lip ring adding a satisfying pressure as he slowly moved his lips against yours.
The tip of his tongue swiped over your bottom lip and you let him in as his hands slid down to your lower back.
His tongue moved against yours, his piercing scraping you and adding a spark you never felt before while kissing someone.
Hyunjin knew what he was doing, his kiss was deliberate and erotic, not what you expected of him as he claimed every inch of your mouth with his tongue.
Chills ran up your spine when he pressed his body into yours, your legs wrapping around him automatically.
Hyunjin pushed you into the cold tiles of the pool but you didn’t care when you felt his dick pressing right into your core.
Both of you moaned into the kiss as your nails lightly scraped his shoulders and his fingers came up to the strap of your bathing suit.
He pulled on it, making it unravel as your breasts fell out for him to play with.
“Whoops.” he smirked as he leaned back, looking at you with hooded eyes.
“Nipple piercings would look perfect on you.” he said as he grabbed your tits, massaging them and playing with your nipples.
“Oh really?” you smirked and he nodded, mirroring your smirk as he pinched your nipples.
You whimpered, grinding against him and he squeezed your breasts, he was grunting as he moved against you, the water splashing around.
He leaned in, one hand on the back of your head as his lips attached to your skin, leaving kisses on your neck before he licked at it, his piercing tickling you a little.
“That feels interesting.” you chuckled as he pressed himself closer to you, his skin against yours, making you feel even hotter.
“What, my piercings?”
“Yeah.”
“They’d be even more interesting if you’d let me eat you out.” he smirked as you traced his pretty tattoos with your fingers.
“What, here?” you chuckled.
“Not here. We can go back to your room.” he bit on his lip as he searched your eyes.
Well fuck it, you thought, you were already this far, your mind still not realizing the fact that you’re making out with Hwang Hyunjin, your number one enemy or so he used to be.
“Sure. In a minute.” you smirked, your hand tangling in his hair as you pulled a little making him hiss and bite on his lip.
You leaned in, wrapping your lips around his adam's apple and Hyunjin whimpered as you sucked on it.
“Mm, baby.” he whined as you swiped your tongue on it before kissing and lightly biting on his neck.
He kept grinding against you and your pussy throbbed for him.
His hands ran down to your ass as he grabbed you and held you in place, grinding faster against you as you kissed the tattoos on his shoulder and arm, your lips then traveling to his collarbone and chest.
“You’re driving me crazy, princess.” he almost growled, gripping your ass and making you moan against his wet skin.
“Am I?” your hand snaked between your bodies, until you found his bulge and gripped it.
“Fuck!” Hyunjin grunted, fucking into your hand immediately but before he could enjoy it further, you decided to tease him and move your hand away.
“We can go now.” you whispered, turned on beyond your mind as Hyunjin clumsily helped you put your bathing suit on.
The two of you quickly grabbed your stuff, still half wet, you made your way to your room as Hyunjin held your hand, both of you giggling like two horny teengers.
As soon as you walked in, Hyunjin tossed his towel carelessly on the floor, grabbing your wrists and pinning you to the door before you could even react.
His thigh slotted between your legs and you whimpered as he flexed his muscle.
“Look at you. Falling apart already and I haven’t even touched your pussy.” he smirked and that feeling of annoyance he always used to give you turned you on in this moment, making you feel even more annoyed that you fell under his charm.
You squirmed but it only resulted in your core grinding against his hard thigh.
“Asshole.” you whined and he tightened the grip on your wrists, pressing his thigh harder into your throbbing core as he started moving it against you.
“I am.” he chuckled, leaning in and kissing you more passionately than before, his lips forceful against yours.
You hated admitting it but you were putty in Hyunjin’s arms and he knew it as he smirked against your lips before pushing his tongue inside and swirling it around yours.
He swallowed every moan as he kept stealing your breath, your pussy dripping with arousal and need.
“Let go of my hands.” you whimpered as he left kisses on your jaw and neck.
“Why?” he smirked against your skin, dragging his tongue on the column of your neck before he sank his teeth into your sensitive spot, right below your ear.
“Ah!” you moaned, jolting into him as he sucked a mark on your skin. “Because I wanna touch you.” you answered his question.
“Hm, should I let you?” he chuckled against your collarbone, brushing his lips there.
“I know you want me to.” you whispered in his ear, pressing a kiss to his cheek and Hyunjin let out a shaky breath before finally releasing your wrists.
Your hands tangled in his hair instantly as you continued making out desperately, grinding against each other.
Hyunjin’s large hands traveled all over your body, exploring and groping you, his lips and tongue lazily dragging on the outline of your breasts to your stomach as he kneeled before you.
You looked at him through hooded eyes as he grabbed your leg and hooked it over his shoulder.
“I thought you said you’d only kneel for me once.” you smirked and he smirked back at you.
“Guess I was wrong.” he said before mouthing at your thigh, licking and biting, driving you crazy as he came closer to your core.
Hyunjin grabbed the straps of your bathing suit, undoing them quickly and leaving you bare.
“Fuck, such a pretty pussy.” he groaned, pushing his face into your core immediately.
“Ah!” you jolted when he licked a long stripe on your pussy, his piercing catching onto your clit deliciously.
“Tastes sweet too.” he smirked at you as you whimpered, your fingers tangling in his hair.
He spread you apart with his fingers, wrapping his plump lips around your clit and sucking on it.
“Oh god.” you groaned, banging your head against the door as he slurped on your pussy.
Your thighs trembled as he swiped his tongue over your clit repeatedly, making sure that his piercing gives you stimulation too.
You were holding back for some reason and Hyunjin seemed to sense it as he pulled back and looked up at you.
“Pull on my hair as much as you need to, sweetheart. You can pull, scratch, bite, I love it.” he smirked. “You can even slap me again if you’d like.”
You gripped his hair harshly, making him whimper as you brought his face closer to your core again.
“Keep going.” you said and Hyunjin listened immediately, his tongue diving between your folds to slurp up your juices.
The sounds his mouth was creating as he kept making out with your wet pussy were downright sinful and you were so lost in it, your head thrown back as you shook and kept pulling on his hair that you didn’t even notice Hyunjin had pulled his swim trunks down, his hand wrapped around his dripping cock as he stroked himself.
Hyunjin was loud and sloppy, constantly moaning into you like he was enjoying this even more than you did.
Your juices mixed with his saliva dripped down his chin while he kept eating you out like a man starved, like your pussy is the best meal he’s ever had.
“I’m gonna cum!” you whimpered, grinding against his face, his nose pressing perfectly into your clit.
“Cum in my mouth baby, please!” Hyunjin whined and you shook as your orgasm washed over you, spilling on his tongue and chin.
“Mm.” he moaned and licked you up.
“Bed. Now.” he stood up, wiping his chin with the back of his hand and it took you a moment to realize he was completely naked.
“Oh.” you stared at his dick, salivating at the thought of having him inside you, he was so long and pretty, curved just a little, his tip red and dripping with pre cum.
He was perfect, and you needed him in any way you could get him.
“Princess.” Hyunjin chuckled at your obvious drooling.
He was growing impatient so he scooped you up before you could protest, getting rid of your bra in the process.
“I need to have you right now.” he rasped, throwing you on the bed and quickly turning you on all fours as he climbed over you and pressed you into the mattress.
You whimpered pathetically as he held you down with one hand to your back, your pussy dripping and clenching around nothing, waiting to be filled up to the brim.
“Oh. Teddy.” Hyunjin noticed his friend still chilling on your bed. “This is not for your eyes.” he grabbed the bear and stood up, putting it in the chair and turning him around.
“Sorry, son.” he added as you stared up at him from the bed and chuckled.
“He can still hear us, you know.” you said as Hyunjin climbed back up on top of you.
“Mm, I hope everyone does. Don’t want you holdin’ back. I want you to be as loud as you can.” Hyunjin smirked above you, lifting your middle up and snaking his hand around to play with your sensitive clit.
“Yeah? Then fuck me as hard as you can, Hyunjin.” you moaned, pushing back into him, trying to get him closer.
“I hope you know what you’re asking for.”
You felt the tip of his cock prodding at you and you gasped as he slowly pushed in, the tip breaching your entrance and spreading you to take him.
“Oh my god, fuck!” you moaned as he gripped your hips and kept stretching you, pushing more and more in until he bottomed out, his cock finding a warm home inside your clenching pussy.
“You’re so tight, baby.” his eyes rolled back as he pulled out to the tip, then pushed back into you harshly, making you whimper loudly as you fisted the sheets beneath you.
“Yeah.” he moaned as he started fucking you with a semi-fast pace immediately, his hand coming up to push your face into the mattress.
“Fuck yeah, take it. Take it like a good slut.” Hyunjin groaned as you whimpered and gasped while he rocked his hips into you hard.
“H-Hyunjin, ah!” you whimpered when his tip hit the spot and he angled his hips to keep hitting into it hard, the sound of skin slapping skin filling up the room together with the sounds your pussy was making while he kept stuffing you with his cock.
You couldn’t even hold on and you collapsed down as Hyunjin kept fucking you harshly into the mattress, pulling on your hair and giving you a few harsh spanks that made your ass red instantly.
You kept babbling nonsense as he fucked you like a mad man, gripping your breasts or your waist, his hands couldn’t decide where to stay ‘cause he wanted all of you.
Your orgasm shook your whole body, from your head to your toes as you creamed around his throbbing cock for what seemed like the longest time, your pleasure kept prolonging as he brushed against your spot constantly.
Hyunjin smacked your ass again, a dark chuckle escaping his lips as you whimpered.
“Fuck, she’s trying to milk me, isn’t she? You want that, baby? You want my cum?”
“Y-yes, I want it!” you whined.
“Yeah? Do you really want it?” Hyunjin smirked, teasing you, the annoying bastard.
“Yes I do!” you moaned as he kept his pace, the weight of his body pressing you down as his breath hit your cheek.
“Beg for it, darling.” he whispered in your ear and you groaned in annoyance, your fingers digging into the bed.
You bit on your lip, trying to disobey him as much as you could and he chuckled darkly, grabbing your hands and pinning your wrists on your lower back.
“You don’t like the way the tables have turned, hm? I don’t hear you begging. Do you want me to stop?” Hyunjin slowed down, his free hand traveling down your thigh and then back up towards your waist, making you shiver.
“P-please…” you whimpered quietly, losing your mind and dignity.
“Please what, princess?”
“P-please… Cum inside me, Hyunjin.” you moaned and he chuckled again, picking up speed as he released your hands only to grip your hips.
You were almost screaming from the strength he was fucking you with, his hips stuttering as he dug his nails into your flesh.
“Louder baby, louder.” he groaned, you could feel droplets of his sweat falling down and hitting your back.
You moaned louder and you were sure people could hear you outside but you didn’t care as you came around his length again, moments later Hyunjin finally exploded inside you, filling you up with his warm cum.
“Fuck, y/n…” he whimpered as he shook above you, pulling out as his arms wrapped around you.
He held you for a few quiet minutes while both of you were trying to catch your breath and calm down.
He left little kisses on your shoulder as your brain became less foggy and the reality of what happened between you settled in, making your heart skip a beat and then continue to beat fast.
Hyunjin finally rolled over and got up and you laid still, feeling a little embarrassed and self-conscious.
You remembered swearing to yourself once that you’d never sleep with him or have any kind of relationship with someone who seemingly never takes any of those things seriously but here you were.
At least you could admit to yourself that he was the best fuck you ever had.
Hyunjin came back with a warm wet cloth and a water bottle.
“Let me clean you up.” he said and you looked up at him. “You okay?”
“Yeah, I’m okay.” you answered dismissively and Hyunjin raised his eyebrow.
“Drink some water.” he said as you sat up.
God, he was more beautiful than ever.
His hair disheveled, his body sweaty and on display for you, a loopy smile on his face as he sat there naked, vulnerable, yours.
“You wanna shower together?” he asked as you put the bottle down.
“You know this changes everything between us?” you ignored his question and his smile fell.
“Of course I do.” he touched your cheek, leaning in to kiss you.
His lips were addicting and you couldn’t push him away.
“Now let’s get in that shower.”
-
“Hyunjin. Y/n. Come to my room this instant.” Anthony sounded furious when he called you, just as you were eating some breakfast you had ordered after the shower.
“Can we at least finish eating?” Hyunjin whined with his mouth full, his lips pouty.
“Now!” Anthony yelled, making Hyunjin jolt as you looked at him with wide eyes.
“Y’all are in big trouble!” you heard Aiden yell in the background.
“We’ll be right there.” you said and Anthony hung up.
“Wow, he sounds really mad.” Hyunjin frowned.
“Let’s go find out what we did.”
Anthony’s room wasn’t too far from yours and you were there in a matter of minutes.
“You two!” Anthony looked like he was fuming, smoke coming out of his ears, his face bright red as his chest rose up and down deeply.
Ana stood behind him like an angry mother, her hands on her hips as she tapped her foot.
Aiden and Brendon were sitting on the bed, looking sulky.
“What is going on?” you asked.
“Have you two lost your fucking mind?!” Anthony seethed.
“What did we do?!” Hyunjin’s tone got defensive immediately.
“They didn’t even look at social media.” Ana shook her head.
“This is what you did!” Anthony gave you his phone and you gasped when you saw it.
Someone was on the balcony above the hotel pool last night, taking pictures of you and Hyunjin.
There were hundreds of articles, even a video circling the net where the two of you were going at it, making out passionately and touching each other.
The only lucky thing was that the guy didn’t manage to get any audio.
You quickly grabbed your phone and saw that you had millions of tags on the pics and comments people left on your posts.
Most of them were hate comments directed towards you, calling you a whore and lots of other endearing names, others were of horny people saying that Hyunjin was a lucky bastard getting to fuck someone like you.
They were all demeaning comments, even the ones that seemed to be on ‘your side’.
Your eyes welled up with tears as you started panicking.
Hyunjin looked furious.
“Who is this guy? Is he still in the hotel? ‘Cause if he is, my friends here,” he lifted his fists. “,will come pay him a nice fucking visit.”
“There’s no point, Hyunjin. It’s already done. This could damage the band, it’s practically a sex tape.” Ana said.
“I don’t feel so good.” you quickly sat down on the sofa and Hyunjin was on your side immediately.
“Fuck, this is my fault!” he said frustratingly. “I made you come to the pool with me. I should’ve never done that.”
“You couldn’t predict this Jinnie, it’s not your fault. At least your shoulders were covering up my tits.” you shrugged, swallowing your tears.
Hyunjin smiled at you as you looked up at him.
“Something funny?” you asked.
“No, you just called me Jinnie.” he swooned, his arm wrapping around you.
“Ew, get a room.” Brendon acted like he was throwing up.
“Shut up.” Hyunjin warned his bandmate before looking back at you.
“I knew I’d get under your skin one day.” he whispered in your ear, smirking as he nosed your cheek before pressing a kiss to it.
“Yeah, yeah. That really ended up biting me in the ass.” you rolled your eyes, shivering a little.
“Okay, do that later. We need to figure out what to do about this!” Anthony said.
“Nothing.” Hyunjin shrugged. “I don’t care about it. They didn’t see anything they shouldn’t have. In those pics and videos you can only see my back and the side of y/n’s face. Nothing I’m worried about. I don’t care if they know about us getting together. They’d find out eventually anyways. I’m just glad they didn’t see what’s for my eyes only.” he smirked at you and you smacked his arm annoyingly.
“Is it now?”
“Yes, it is.” he nodded.
“What do you think, y/n?” Ana asked.
“I agree with Hyunjin to an extent. Lots of celebs had scandals like this and nothing happened to them. I mean, we can still continue with our tour normally, right?”
“Well, we have to. The next show is in 6 hours.” Anthony sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Just don’t do this shit again. I will deal with the guy who took these and everything else. The four of you just focus on the show tonight and no more fucking in public places.”
“Is that a challenge?” Hyunjin smirked and you smacked him again.
“Ow!” he whined and you rolled your eyes.
You were still trying to process that all your fans have seen you kissing Hyunjin.
-
It was almost time for the show and Hyunjin insisted on getting ready in your room, dragging his luggage there.
Ever since last night, you couldn’t pry him off of you.
Currently, he was sitting on your bed shirtless, all of his makeup and skincare products thrown haphazardly in front of him as he rummaged through them.
You quickly grabbed your phone, taking a few pics of his cute pouty thinking face as he sifted through his eyeshadows.
You pressed play on your phone, now filming a video.
You zoomed in on his face and snorted.
“Here we can see the last brain cell of Hwang Hyunjin trying to plan out a suitable makeup look for the show tonight.” you said and he looked up, his face breaking into a smile.
“And here we can witness the last brain cell of y/n l/n focusing so hard on me.” he said into the camera, puffing his chest out.
“Riiiiight.” you zoomed in on his nipples.
“Are you filming my tits?” he asked, chuckling.
“Maybe.” you smirked at him.
“And I’m the deviant one. Can you believe this teddy?” he looked at his plush friend who was chilling on the bed next to him.
You turned the camera to the bear as Hyunjin grabbed its head and shook it left and right in disapproval.
You turned it off with a giggle, putting your phone aside as you stood up and made your way towards the bed.
Hyunjin looked up at you as you neared him.
You sat behind him, your hands on his back instantly.
“What are you thinking of doing?” you asked, lips pressing into his flower tattoos.
“I’m thinking you’re gonna make me hard again if you keep touching me.” he looked back at you.
“Are you that easy?” you smirked as you kept kissing him tentatively, your hands on his waist, caressing him.
“For you, definitely.” he said, grabbing a small eyeshadow palette.
“Good to know.” you smirked as you kept kissing him, your hands roaming on his abs.
“Do you think I should get a belly button piercing?” he asked as you touched him, your fingers dipping down to his happy trail as you played with it, making him shiver.
“Why not? It would look sexy on you.” you answered, moving his hair to the side so you could attach your lips to his neck.
“You really want to distract me, huh?” he let out a breath, trying to get his smoky eye look right while you teased him.
“Mhm.” you kept kissing, licking and biting on him while he put his makeup on.
“Shit!” he exclaimed, jolting as your hand snaked down to palm his growing bulge.
“I almost poked my eye out!” he whined, but still leaned into you.
“Shh. Concentrate.” you smirked against his skin, your hand traveling into his pants as you gripped him.
“Naughty girl.” he smirked, looking at your lustful expression in the mirror he held up while finishing up his look.
“Oh yes.” you grinned, taking his cock out and stroking him.
“Y/n.” Hyunjin whined. “W-what do you think?” he turned a little, showing you his finished look as you played with his slit.
“Pretty.” you smirked, your other hand caressing his thigh before you grabbed his balls unexpectedly.
“Ah!” he moaned, leaning back into you as he tossed the eyeshadow palette aside.
You sped up and Hyunjin gave in so easily that you were impressed, he was completely putty in your embrace, letting you have your way with him.
“Wait! Turn my son around, please.” he said and you chuckled, squeezing him and earning a groan from him.
“He can’t see anyways. My back is turned towards him.” you looked back at the teddy as your hand traveled up to Hyunjin’s nipples, playing with them as you continued stroking him.
“O-okay.” he moaned, lifting up and fucking into your hand.
“You like it, hm?” you nibbled on his ear as he thrashed against you.
“Y-yeah. Don’t stop, oh my god!” he grunted, gripping at your thighs as you pressed into his back, your legs wrapped around him, your hand skillfully playing with his throbbing cock.
“You wanna cum, Jinnie?” you giggled.
“Yes, please.”
“You’re cute when you beg.” you bit on his neck.
“Shut up!” he groaned but continued fucking up into your hand, desperately chasing his high.
You laughed, licking at the new bruise you created on his neck as you doubled your efforts.
Hyunjin mewled, his legs trembling as you jerked him off fast, flicking your wrist.
“Fuck!” he groaned as he dug his nails into your thighs, his length twitching in your hold, as he spilled all over your hand and his stomach.
You chuckled, kissing his cheek and jawline.
“That was unexpected and hot.” he looked back at you and you shrugged.
“What can I say, I’m full of surprises like that.” smirking, you got up.
“Well get dressed, we’re on in less than an hour.” you said smugly, enjoying the way you had Hyunjin literally in the palm of your hand.
“Already?! Fuck!” he got up, running to the bathroom looking silly and almost tripping over his sweatpants as you laughed at him.
“Laugh now, until I get back at you, darling!” he yelled out.
“Can’t wait!” you shook your head with a smile, packing the rest of your stuff.
Everyone gathered at the bus, the roadies helping with putting your stuff back in as they had already unloaded everything needed for the venue.
Hyunjin grabbed your wrist, scaring you for a moment as you were looking at your phone.
“What?” you looked up at him, seeing his mischievous expression.
“Come here for a sec.” he led you away, tucking both of you behind the parked bus.
“Wha-” he stopped you as he cupped your face and pressed his lips against yours.
You melted into him, wrapping your hands around his waist, bringing him closer as your bodies pressed together.
“Our good luck kiss.” he said when you parted.
“Sure.” you giggled, kissing him once again. “Let’s go before they get mad at us.” you added.
“Just so you know…” his hand traveled down as he cupped your pussy through your pants, making you gasp in shock as you gripped at his shoulders.
“I will have my way with you later.” he smirked, kissing your forehead like he wasn’t saying nasty shit to you.
“If I let you.” you pushed him a little but he just chuckled.
“Oh, you’ll be begging for it, sweetheart.”
-
The show was fun and crazy like always, the fans that were there didn’t seem to care about the ‘sex tape’ scandal, everyone was enjoying the performance.
Hyunjin was even more energetic than usual, jumping up and down, dancing, screaming and doing all sorts of crazy shit.
He made a point of looking back at you multiple times with the biggest smile on his face.
In the middle of the performance, Hyunjin took his tanktop off as it was clinging to his sweaty body and getting in the way, so he tossed it into the audience and people almost beat each other up to grab it.
You smirked to yourself, they may have his sweaty shirt but you had all of him last night.
Hyunjin flirted with the fans of course, this time coming down closer to them and letting them touch him.
You would lie if you said it didn’t make you mad, you were realizing it just then; you wanted Hyunjin all to yourself.
Your mind managed to spiral even on stage while you played the familiar grooves automatically, and flashes of Hyunjin with different girls ran through your mind.
What if this was just a fling?
What if he didn’t look at this seriously?
You didn’t want to fall for him but in your mind you knew it was already too late.
You hoped he wasn’t just using you because having your heart broken for what feels like the hundredth time in your life isn’t something you’d want to go through again.
Especially not with him.
When the show ended and you ran backstage, Hyunjin wrapped his arms around your waist and lifted you up, spinning you around as you squealed.
“Put me down, I’m gonna puke!” you whined, feeling dizzy.
He put you down before crashing his lips against yours.
“I want you so bad right now.” he muttered against your lips as you touched his chest.
“You should wash off the fans’ handprints first.” you pushed him and he chuckled.
“Aw, are you jealous?” he grinned.
“No, you’re just gross.”
“Liar. You’re so jealous.”
“Am not.”
“Don’t worry, baby. I’m all yours.” he smirked.
“Sure.” you said and Hyunjin frowned, pursing his lips.
“Let’s go party, assholes!” Aiden appeared, all giddy from the show, stopping Hyunjin mid-thought.
“Yeah, and put on a shirt, Hwang!” Brendon winked with a smirk.
You were dragged to an exclusive afterparty without your consent but you were thirsty anyways so you ordered a beer.
During the evening as you mingled, you lost sight of Hyunjin.
“Where’s Hyunjin?” you asked Aiden as he joined you at the bar.
“Beats me.” he shrugged.
You were about to look for him when he walked in, stumbling as some random girl held onto his wrists.
“What the hell?” you muttered, anger overtaking you instantly.
She was all over him, and you noticed he was trying to push her away but was too drunk.
You made your way towards them when suddenly she slapped him across the face and you gasped, boiling with anger.
“Hey, bitch.” you said as you stood next to Hyunjin and her eyes widened when she saw you.
“Y/n! You’re here!” Hyunjin clung onto you immediately, his face dazed.
You ignored him as you lifted your hand up, dealing a strong slap to the girl’s face.
She gasped, holding onto her cheek as she almost tripped over her feet.
“Touch him again and I’ll break your fake nose.”
“Woah!” Hyunjin stumbled as he held onto your arm. “She’s serious, I wouldn’t mess with her.” he said to the girl who quickly scrambled away.
“Baby. You defended me.” he pouted at you, trying to kiss you.
“Oh my god, Hyunjin. You’re shitfaced. Come on, we’re leaving, you need some air.” you led him out, quickly telling Aiden you’ll be by the bus.
“Why did she even slap you?”
“I might’ve called her a whore?” he grimaced. “She tried to kiss me and I said no! I have a girlfriend! I meant you.”
“Yes, I understand Hyunjin.” you shook your head, your face heating up.
“That was so hot how you slapped her.” Hyunjin nuzzled into you as he hugged you from the back while you were trying to unlock the bus door so you could find a water bottle for him.
“Yeah?”
“Mhm. My cheek hurts though. Will you kiss it better?” he asked, burying his face into your hair.
“Sure. As soon as you sober up a little.” you said, finally opening the door as the two of you climbed in.
“You know what else hurts?” Hyunjin smirked, leaning on the table and almost falling down.
“What?” you raised your eyebrow, grabbing a water bottle out of the fridge.
“My dick.” he grinned.
“Just shut up and drink some water.” you shoved the water in his hand as he giggled.
You were annoyed, wondering if you were overthinking things and Hyunjin acting all nonchalant made you feel even more angry.
That kind of attitude he always had bugged you, it seemed as if he took everything in stride, as if he wasn’t afraid of losing anything, as if he took nothing seriously, like nothing mattered to him other than himself.
“What’s wrong?” he pouted, trying to hug you.
And you hated how he could read you like a book.
“Nothing. We’ll talk when you’re sober.” you said, folding your arms on your chest.
“Are you mad at me?” he swallowed.
“I don’t know.” you shrugged.
“You don’t know?” he tilted his head as you avoided his eyes.
“I’m mad at myself.”
“Why?”
“Because… Just because.” you shook your head. “I don’t wanna get into it.”
“Is it because of the girl?” he looked at you confusedly.
“No Hyunjin, it’s because of all the girls. The way you act like it means nothing to you so whatever this is between us probably doesn’t matter to you either. You only look to satisfy yourself, not caring about hurting someone else’s feelings. And frankly, I can’t deal with that. I can’t believe I’m saying this to you but I want something real, I don’t want to be used for your pleasure and then thrown away like I was just one of your little groupies.” you couldn’t stop talking, a weight lifting off of your chest.
“Is that all you think of me? That I’m so shallow and conceited?” he asked, seemingly sobered up all of a sudden.
“I’ve never seen proof of the opposite.”
“Fuck then let me prove it to you! Of course I care about your feelings, y/n and I never looked at you as one of those groupies. I don’t need anyone but you and this means everything to me.” he shook his head.
“What?” you were in disbelief, Hyunjin had never sounded so serious before.
“There you are.” Ana came in, followed by the rest of the gang, and you leaned away from Hyunjin.
“I’m gonna go shower.” you used the situation to slip away.
Your thoughts were racing as you stood under the warm water.
Was he telling the truth?
You went through a rollercoaster of emotions, too exhausted to think after the whole day.
You laid in your bunk as everyone settled in to sleep after showering and eating some dinner.
It didn’t take long for Hyunjin to climb up.
“Hey.” he whispered as you sat, expecting him to show up.
“Hey.” you said and he smiled.
“So, are you gonna give me a chance?” he bit on his lip, playing with his lip ring nervously.
You sighed, studying his expression.
He looked sincere, scared even, his eyes becoming big as he pleaded.
“Okay.” you said and he chuckled.
“Yes!” he exclaimed.
“Shh. You’ll wake everyone up. And don’t fucking waste this chance, Hyunjin. Because it’s the only one you’ll get.” you warned him as he crawled closer to you.
“I promise I’ll make the best of it.” he said, leaning in to kiss you.
You didn’t even realize how much you missed his kisses, when it has been hours since you last felt his sweet lips on yours.
“Remember what I said earlier?” he smirked, lowering his voice as his hands massaged your thighs.
“Mm?” you mirrored his smirk, pretending to be clueless.
“I’m gonna have my way with you now.” he grabbed you, pulling you to lay under him as you gasped in surprise.
Hyunjin’s fingers trailed up your thigh with feather-like touches up your already dripping pussy.
He ran his fingertips over your clothed folds, drawing a deep breath from you.
“I took off my rings.” he whispered, wiggling his fingers.
“I can see that.” you whispered back as he found your clit, pressing into it and touching you teasingly, slowly.
He kept smirking at you smugly as he hooked his fingers into your shorts, pulling them down with your panties, noticing you wore lacy ones under your pjs.
“Cute panties. Shame they came off too soon.” he giggled as you lightly slapped his arm, your face becoming red in embarrassment.
“I’m keeping them.” he said, putting them aside as you rolled your eyes with a smirk.
Hyunjin leaned over you, his face inches away from you as his lips hovered over yours.
“You have to be a good girl and keep quiet. Can you do that, princess?” he said, his fingers back on your clit as he started massaging it in circles, making you arch your back towards him.
“Y-yeah.” you whispered, your eyes fluttering.
“If you make a sound, I will stop.” Hyunjin gave you that famous shit eating grin.
“No, I’ll be quiet!” you whispered.
“Good. Now shut up, darling.” he said with a smirk, his fingers teasing your folds.
You bit on your lip as he teased you, playing with your clit as he pinched it occasionally, almost making you moan.
He was enjoying how wet you were getting as he concentrated on your sensitive nub, his other hand traveling beneath your shirt to play with your breasts.
“You look so cute like this.” he said and you wanted to slap him for the condescending tone he used, but at the same time your pussy clenched, a gush of arousal dripping out of you.
“You know why?” he added as he observed you, his fingers dipping between your wet folds as he teased you.
You shook your head no.
“Because only I get to see you like this. Only I get to unravel you, sweetheart.” he looked at you lustfully as he slowly pushed his fingers in, making you gasp as your legs trembled for a moment.
Your pussy sucked two of his fingers right in as he chuckled under his breath.
“You take me so well.” he bit on his lip as he slowly moved his fingers, massaging your inner walls.
“Ngh.” you moaned, pushing up into his hand, begging for more, deeper, faster.
“Sweet girl.” he whispered, leaning in to kiss your jawline and neck.
You melted, your legs opening up completely for him as he fucked into you a bit faster, curling his fingers to find that spot.
“Look at you.” he pinched your nipple and you swallowed a moan. “So giving.” Hyunjin chuckled darkly as your legs shook.
He sped up, finding that spot and making you moan quietly as you bit on your lip hard.
“Am I making it difficult for you?”
The fucking bastard.
“Answer me.” he said sternly and you whimpered.
“Yes, you are.” you said and Hyunjin chuckled.
“Good.”
The bunk bed filled up with sounds of your wet pussy as you dripped all over his hand, your entire body was trembling, your heart beating fast as your eyes rolled in the back of your head, you’ve never been this aroused in your life.
“T-they’re gonna hear…” you whimpered silently as Hyunjin kept abusing your pussy with his fingers, pistoning them into your heat as you clenched around him, trying to ignore the enormous pressure building up inside you.
“Oh yes, they are. They’ll hear what a filthy slut you are for me. They’ll hear your little pussy sucking my fingers in. You’re so nasty, baby.” he fucked you even harder as you gasped.
“F-fuck! I-I can’t…” you thrashed against the bed, tears gathering in your eyes as you tried to squeeze your legs around his arm involuntarily.
“Come on, let go for me.” he looked smug as he fucked you fast, his eyes full of lust.
You almost cried out, biting on your lower lip hard, drawing blood as the metallic taste filled up your mouth, making your mind float.
“God, you really want to edge yourself.” he smirked.
Tears slid down your cheeks as you trembled violently and you bit down on your arm, finally not being able to hold in anymore as you exploded, squirting all over your thighs and Hyunjin’s hand as he fucked you through your orgasm, his other hand abusing your sensitive clit.
“That’s my good girl. I’m proud of you.” he pulled his fingers out as you gasped, watching him as he licked at his hand.
You were in shock, never having finished this violently that the muscles in your legs were cramping, never has a man managed to make you squirt.
“Y/n?” Hyunjin leaned over you, wiping your tears.
“I-I never squirted before.” you admitted and Hyunjin smiled proudly.
“Really?” he looked excited suddenly and you chuckled.
“Really.” you nodded.
“Well, I’m gonna make you squirt again.” he smirked and you looked down, realizing he was stroking himself.
You had no idea when he took his pants off.
“Mhm.” you wrapped your legs around him.
“Mm. So wet.” he pressed his tip against you, massaging your folds with it.
“Just put it in.” you gripped at him and he smiled, burying his face in your neck.
“A little needy, I see.” he said and you made your point by bringing him closer with your legs so that his tip slipped inside you, making him moan into your skin quietly.
“You’re just as needy for me.” you tangled your hand in his soft hair, inhaling his shampoo, your other hand caressing his back as he pushed his cock inside you slowly, bottoming out as you gasped quietly.
“I am.” he said, kissing your neck as he started rocking his hips into you, his hands gripping your waist.
“I’m not gonna last long. Watching you squirt for me almost made me cum.”
“Mm, it’s okay, Jinnie.” you wrapped your arms around him as he whimpered quietly into your skin.
“Say that again.” he nibbled at your ear, rutting into you desperately.
“What, Jinnie?”
“Yeah.” his cock was hitting all the right spots inside you, the pressure you felt before building up quickly again.
You dug your nails into his shoulders and he hissed, biting on your neck, his hand on your hip and the other on your breast as he squeezed it.
“Jinnie. My Jinnie.” you whined quietly and he groaned as the bed started creaking, now it was more than obvious what you were doing.
“Fuck, tell me I’m yours.” Hyunjin moaned, grabbing your wrists and pinning them on either side of your head as his hips snapped into yours, his pubic hair brushing against your clit deliciously, adding more friction to your sensitive parts.
“You’re mine, Hyunjin. All mine.” you moaned and he kissed you sloppily as you clenched around his cock.
“I’m all yours, princess.” he pressed his forehead against yours and you whimpered, exploding around him as you squirted again, your nails drawing blood on his back.
“Shit!” Hyunjin’s entire body trembled as he pushed deeper inside you, his cock twitching as he filled you up with spurts of hot cum.
“Mm.” you moaned.
“Take it all, baby. Milk me dry.” he groaned as your eyes filled up with tears of pleasure and you came once again, squeezing around his length, forcing him to spill every little drop he had inside you.
“Fuck.” Hyunjin collapsed on top of you, both of you wet and sweaty as you wrapped around each other.
“You think they heard?” you asked after some time and Hyunjin lifted up to look at you, caressing your face.
“Oh yeah, definitely.” he smirked.
“Bastard.” you squinted your eyes with a smile as he giggled.
“You can call me anything you want as long as you keep calling me yours.” he said, kissing your lips gently.
“I take it this is your way of asking me to be your girlfriend?” you asked, carding your fingers through his damp hair.
“I don’t have to ask, baby. You’re already mine.” he bit on his lip, his eyes filling up with lust again.
He was going to drive you crazy and you loved it.
-
The next morning as Hyunjin and you walked into the living area of the bus, everyone looked up at you with knowing smirks.
“Oh, Jinnie, ah!” Aiden started moaning so Hyunjin came up to him and smacked the back of his head.
“Shut up, dickhead.” Hyunjin said as your face heated up.
“So, are you guys like together now?” Brendon asked.
“Yes, we are.” you answered, pouring yourself some coffee.
“Finally! Y’all owe me 20 bucks each!” Brendon said as everyone around the table groaned.
“You bet on us getting together?”
“We all bet on when you are going to get together. I was the closest.” he smirked as you shook your head.
Hyunjin ignored them, pulling you to sit in his lap.
“You two are gonna be disgusting all the time now.” Aiden scrunched his face up.
“You’re just jealous.” Hyunjin smirked at his friend, pulling you flush against his back as you sipped on your coffee.
“Yeah, I am.” Aiden sighed. “Oh, now we have two couples here.” he added and everyone looked at Ana and Anthony who were quiet almost the whole time.
“Oh I knew there was something there.” you chuckled.
“Well… seems like we’re still single.” Brendon winked at Aiden, his hand on Aiden’s thigh as he leaned in, making an exaggerated kissy face at him.
“Ew, get away from me!” Aiden pushed him as everyone laughed.
“Gimme a sip.” Hyunjin leaned on your shoulder, pursing his lips as he looked at your coffee cup.
You giggled, turning on his lap a little as you gave him your coffee.
The bus parked in the designated place as Stu joined you.
“I’m not even gonna ask.” he looked at the two of you.
“By the way, I have something for you.” Hyunjin whispered, kissing your shoulder as everyone got back to scrolling on their phones or conversing.
“Oh yeah? What is it?”
“Come, I’ll show you outside. Bring the coffee.” he nudged you with his leg and you squealed, getting up.
The two of you sat nearby, as Hyunjin pulled out his cigarettes.
“Want one?” he asked.
“We can share.” you shrugged and he smiled, lighting it up.
He puffed out the smoke then took a sip of coffee.
“So, what did you want to show me?”
“You know how I have a favorite guitar pick? My lucky red one, I always play with it?” he started.
“Yes, what about it?” you asked, curiously tilting your head.
He reached into his pocket, smiling as his cheeks became rosy.
“I made it into a necklace for you.”
“Oh.” your heart skipped a beat, you were touched. “When did you do that?”
“Well, after that night I slept over in your bunk bed for the first time.” Hyunjin admitted, looking at his feet.
“Woah. Then?” you were shocked at the revelation.
“Yeah, I knew you’d be mine before the end of the tour.” he smirked.
“Did you now?” you asked, grabbing the cigarette from his hand.
“It was my mission to annoy you so much that you finally cave.” he wiggled his eyebrows and you puffed the smoke out into his face.
“Well, it worked.” you said.
“I’m glad it did.” he motioned for you to turn around so he could put the necklace on you.
“Thank you, this is really sweet.” you said as you played with it.
“No need to thank me. I, ugh, also wanna tell you something.” he added and you nodded.
“Are you aware that you inspired almost all of my songs? So, it’s kinda funny that you’re playing songs that are actually about you.” he said and you choked on the coffee as you started coughing.
“Shit, are you okay?” he quickly tapped your back with his hand.
“Some of the songs are years old…” you said as he cautiously took the cigarette from between your fingers and brought it to his lips.
“Mhm.” he nodded, looking at you as you processed the information.
“You… always liked me?” you frowned and Hyunjin nodded.
“But why did you bug me like that all the time, making me think you hate me?” you asked.
“This is gonna sound like a bunch of bullshit. But you seemed to hate me from the day we met and I was scared of you. I thought if I ever tried to approach you normally you’d spit in my face and tell me to fuck off.”
“You’re right. That does sound like a bunch of bullshit.” you looked at him annoyingly as you pinched his arm hard, making him yelp.
“What was that for?!” he whimpered.
“For being an idiot.” you said and he whined.
“What did I do now?”
“I liked you right away, Hyunjin. But I saw how you treated Macy, and concluded that you were just some pretty heartless bastard who played with girls like they’re toys so I decided to hate you so I’d stop liking you.”
“Who’s Macy?” he looked at you confusedly and you pinched him again.
“Ow!” he yelped, rubbing at his arm.
“The girl you dated back then? The curly blonde who worked in the company?”
“Oh, I forgot her name. We only hooked up like four times. It meant nothing to me- ow!” you pinched his arm again.
“Stop with the abuse!” he whined and you chuckled.
“See, that is exactly what I was talking about.” you scolded him and he pouted.
“I know you just called me a heartless bastard but you also called me pretty so I’m gonna ignore the rest.” he said, making a weird face as he leaned away from you.
“What are you doing?” you gave him the elevator eyes.
“Trying not to get pinched again?” he answered and you let out a laugh.
“I’m sorry, I won’t do it again.” you said and he squinted at you.
“Look, I promise!” you lifted your hands up in surrender.
Hyunjin exhaled, chuckling as he moved the coffee cup aside and scooted closer to you, wrapping his arm around you.
“I promise I know your name.” he teased.
“Hyunjin!” you smacked his chest, laughing as he chuckled, pulling you into a hug.
“In all seriousness, I plan on being totally devoted to you.” he said, kissing your cheek. “You’re my ride or die.”
“I like that.” you smiled, your heart leaping out of your chest as butterflies swarmed in your stomach.
“Me too.” Hyunjin leaned in, kissing you passionately as you almost climbed into his lap.
“Save that for later, we need to practice!” Brendon yelled suddenly and the two of you parted, seeing everyone piled up on the windows, staring at you.
“Nosy bastards.” you chuckled fondly as Hyunjin pecked your lips.
“Come on, we gotta rock the stage tonight.” he got up, reaching his hand towards you.
You knew tonight was going to be completely different.
And it was.
You listened to the lyrics carefully, realizing that Hyunjin had really been singing about you this whole time and you were clueless, thinking he was writing songs about his little groupies or the girls he hooked up with, but there was only one girl who was his muse and it was you.
-
It was quiet in the bus the next morning, the end of the tour was near so Hyunjin and you decided to take some time to chill in the back of the vehicle.
There was a big bed there, and when your friends saw the two of you leaving to the ‘fuck room’ as the called it, they decided to disperse away, with Aiden yelling ‘Don’t forget to change the sheets!’ as he left.
You were enjoying a peaceful moment, Hyunjin sitting on the bed with his guitar as he picked at it absentmindedly, playing random melodies.
You were looking up tattoo designs, thinking that it was finally time to get one of your own.
Hyunjin’s playing soothed you and you were lulled into a calm state until he started playing a familiar melody, making you jolt.
You turned to look at him and he grinned at you.
Hyunjin was playing your warm up song, the one you wrote when you were little.
“H-how did you-” you started and he chuckled.
“You think I never paid attention to you?” he licked his lip as he continued playing.
“Stalker.” you smiled, your face heating up.
“A romantic stalker.” he snickered and you shook your head at him.
He smiled at you fondly, suddenly singing the lyrics.
You couldn’t believe he knew the song by heart, it almost made your eyes tear up so you turned away from him.
Hyunjin stopped playing and you felt the bed shift before he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you against him.
“I’m sorry if I upset you.” he whispered, peppering your cheek and jaw with kisses.
“No, I was touched. That song means a lot to me.” you said as Hyunjin squeezed you tighter.
“I know, baby.” he said, dragging his bottom lip on your skin, his lip ring brushing against you and making you shiver.
“Are you looking up tattoo designs?” Hyunjin peered over your shoulder, leaning his chin on it.
“Yeah, but I can’t find a perfect one.”
“I can sketch one for you.” he said and you looked back at him.
“You’d do that?” you asked and he nodded with a smile.
“Of course! We could even get matching tattoos.” he smirked.
“You do know those are forever?” you bit on your lip and Hyunjin’s cheeks flushed.
“Yeah, I know.”
You searched his eyes for a moment before turning towards him and crashing your lips into his.
Hyunjin moaned against you as you kissed him desperately, your tongue playing with his lip ring shortly before you pushed it into his mouth.
Hyunjin’s eyes rolled back as you gripped his hair, pulling his head back harshly.
He groaned, grabbing at your waist and you pressed your middle into his, grinding against him instantly.
“B-baby…” he whimpered against your lips as you felt him grow under you.
“Jinnie.” you smirked, your lips on his jaw and neck as you slid your arms under his shirt, caressing his abs.
Hyunjin let out the most delicious moans as you kissed him and touched him, every little sound made more arousal gather on your panties.
He chased your lips when you looked up at him but you pressed your palms on his chest, pushing him down on the bed as he fell with a thud, his arms on either side of his head.
He smirked at you as you tugged at his clothes.
“Princess, are you needy for me?” he asked, his voice raspy and eyes lustful as you practically ripped his pants off.
“Shut up Hyunjin. I’m gonna use you.” you smirked, taking his shirt off.
“Use me however you want, baby. It’s all yours - ah!” he whined when you slid his boxers down, grabbing his cock and playing with it, teasing his slit with your thumb as you slid down.
“Y/n…” Hyunjin gasped when your breath hit his navel.
You didn’t answer, you were too busy as you licked a stripe on his length, following the vein all the way to the tip where you played with his slit.
“Oh my god!” Hyunjin groaned.
You giggled, your eyes crazed with lust as you spit on his cock, jerking off only his tip and Hyunjin’s legs trembled for a moment.
“Fuck, you’re so nasty baby.” he hissed.
“Am I?” you leaned in closer, teasing his tip with your tongue again.
“Stop teasing me.” Hyunjin already sounded breathless.
“Or what?” you smirked before wrapping your lips around him as you started sucking him off fast instantly, like he was the tastiest lollipop and Hyunjin jolted, moaning loudly.
“Shit!” he exclaimed as you sucked him off like no tomorrow, quickly swallowing his entire length as your nose pressed into his pubic hair, the tip of his cock hitting the back of your throat and making you gag around him.
Hyunjin gathered your hair into a makeshift ponytail as you gripped his thighs, bracing yourself while you sucked him dry.
“Such a nasty slut. Drooling all over my dick. You like choking on it, hm?” he smirked and you moaned around him, your pussy begging for attention.
Hyunjin whined, his head hitting the pillow as he fucked up into your mouth.
Just as you felt that he was close, you quickly pulled off when he least expected it.
“Why’d you stop?” he almost cried out but stopped himself as you started stripping.
“I’m gonna ride you.” you said and he chuckled.
“Do what you want with me.” he gripped onto your hips as you adjusted above him, grabbing his cock and running the tip on your folds.
You slid down, taking all of him in as both of you moaned at the feeling.
“Mm, so warm and wet baby.” Hyunjin pushed up into you immediately. “I need you, y/n. Please fuck me.”
He looked so desperate after you edged him with your mouth and you enjoyed seeing him like that, falling apart for you, his hair splayed everywhere around his head, his forehead sweaty, his face twisted somewhere between pleasure and pain, lips swollen as he kept biting on them, his hands gripping at you like you were his life line.
You put your hands on his chest as you started fucking on him fast, your thighs slapping against him, making him whimper as the bed shook and Hyunjin gripped at the sheets, fucking up into you to meet your pace.
“Y/n, fuck! Harder, fuck me harder!” he begged and you gathered all your strength, fucking on him as hard as you could and he grunted loudly, holding your hips as he fucked up into you.
“That’s it. Good girl. I’m gonna carve the shape of my cock in your pretty pussy.” he smirked between gasps and you whimpered loudly, exploding all over his cock, lifting up and squirting on his twitching length.
Hyunjin let out an animalistic groan when he saw that, grabbing your arms and swiftly turning you around, pressing your knees to your shoulders as you gasped, dizzy from your orgasm and the sudden movement.
He didn’t give you any time to recover as he pushed his dick deep inside you, your pussy taking him immediately.
“Ah!” you moaned loudly.
Hyunjin looked crazed as he fucked you hard immediately, his hands grabbing at your breasts.
“You’re gonna be mine forever, princess. I’ll fill you up good and make sure of that.”
“H-Hyunjin.” you gasped, throwing your head back as you dug your nails into his biceps.
“Mm, y/n.” he whined as his hips stuttered and you came around him again, your pussy gripping his cock.
Hyunjin grabbed your hand as he came hard, filling you up with what seemed like endless ropes of hot cum.
“I love you.” he breathed out and your eyes widened, your core clenching around his softening cock.
His eyes widened when he realized what he said, both of you frozen for a moment.
Hyunjin looked panicked immediately but you grabbed his face, making him look at you.
“I love you.” you smiled and he visibly melted.
You heard voices outside, both of you gasping as you jerked away from each other, quickly picking your clothes up.
“Are y’all done fucking?” Brendon yelled from the front as you got dressed clumsily while Hyunjin tried to gather the dirty sheets.
Embarrassment washed over you when you felt his cum seep out of you, dripping on your panties.
“No we’re not!” Hyunjin yelled and you chuckled.
“I don’t want them to come in here yet.” he pulled you into his chest.
“Why?” you looked up at him.
“I- I meant what I said, y/n. I love you.” he said.
“I love you too, Jinnie. I also hate you just a little, sometimes.” you joked and he giggled.
“That’s okay, as long as you turn that hate into passion.” he wiggled his eyebrows.
“Of course.” you promised and he leaned in to kiss you gently.
-
Six months later…
jinnie<3: babe i have a surprise for you
you: should i be worried?
jinnie<3: maybe… no?
you: just come home
You shook your head with a giggle, today was exactly six months since Hyunjin and you started dating.
You didn’t waste much time, moving in together only a few weeks after the tour ended.
Hyunjin was more clingy than you anticipated but you wouldn’t have him any other way.
You waited for him to come home, hugging teddy as you sat on the sofa, both of you wrapped in a blanket.
Dinner was already finished and Hyunjin’s gift was ready, the lacy black and red set right under the inconspicuous pjs you had on.
“Honey, I’m home!” he snickered as he came in, slamming the door behind him before he all but ran to you.
“Careful.” you laughed as he tripped over the carpet.
He gave you a pointed look but his arms wrapped around you and teddy as he hugged you tightly.
“Missed you.” he nuzzled into your hair and you giggled.
“We missed you too.” you said and he leaned back.
“Do you think teddy missed me more than you did?” he teased.
“Oh definitely.” you smirked and he pouted so you pulled him into another hug, and he yelped.
“Ow. Be careful.” he jolted and you squinted your eyes at him.
“What did you do, Hyunjin?”
“Remember when I asked if a belly button piercing would suit me?” he grimaced.
“Did you get a belly button piercing?!” you gasped and Hyunjin chuckled before he took his shirt off.
Sure enough, there was a fresh piercing above his belly button.
“Oh wow. It’s perfect.” you bit on your lip and he exhaled.
“I’m glad you like it.” he said, looking relieved.
“Is that my gift?” you chuckled.
“Kind of, but also this.” he pulled out his sketchbook, flipping through the pages.
“It’s the tattoo you wanted, I finished designing it.” he showed you the sketch and you gasped.
“Hyunjin! This is beautiful!”
“It’ll look even more beautiful on you.” he leaned in to kiss you.
“I wanna do it as soon as I can.” you said and he chuckled.
“Maybe we could add our matching tattoo then.” Hyunjin’s cheeks flushed.
“Oh? You have an idea for that?”
“Yeah but stop me if it’s too cheesy or if you don’t like it.” he said, looking nervous all of a sudden as he flipped through his sketchbook again.
“Just show me.” you smiled and he gave you the sketchbook.
“See it’s part of a rose for you and part for me, my vision was to have it tattooed on the side of our thumbs so when we hold hands, it becomes one flower. What do you think?”
You stared at him for a moment as your heart fluttered.
“Hyunjin, that’s so sweet. I love that idea.” you caressed his cheek as he smiled.
“I’m glad you do.”
Both of you leaned in, your lips meeting in a tender kiss.
“Where’s my gift?” he smirked and you snickered, lowering your shirt a little, just so you could tease him with a glimpse of the lacy bra.
“Oh. You wore the set.” he licked his lips. “Mm, the best gift ever.” his eyes became foggy in a second as he leaned in with pursed lips.
“Nuh-uh!” you put your finger on his lips. “No dessert before dinner.” you smirked and he rolled his eyes with a smile.
“Fine, I’ll eat you up later. There’ll be nothing left of you just so you know, darling.” Hyunjin said, burying his face in your neck and inhaling the sweet perfume you put on for him, the one that drives him absolutely insane.
“Also, please put on a shirt before I explode.” you added as he leaned back and he laughed, his body shaking with it.
“Sorry.” he winked, getting dressed.
Hyunjin chased you to the kitchen as you grabbed teddy and started running from him, squealing as you rounded the table.
He tricked you, going left then right and you fell for it, your body ending up in his comforting embrace.
“I think teddy is hungry.” Hyunjin said, making you giggle.
“Mhm, and what about Jinnie?” you smirked and he chuckled.
“Jinnie is starving.” he whined dramatically.
As the apartment filled up with warm laughter, the first snowflakes started falling outside, signifying a new beginning, a sense of calmness and peace washing over you, the warmth and comfort you felt at that moment enveloping the two of you completely.
The happiness was almost tangible as it traveled through the air.
If someone would’ve told you you’d end up living with your sworn enemy, Hwang Hyunjin, you’d call them crazy while laughing in their face.
But here you were, every moment with him by your side was precious even when he drove you crazy at times.
After dinner, you skipped out to your balcony to light up a cigarette and enjoy the view of the city as all the roofs slowly became blanketed by snow. Hyunjin joined you, draping his leather jacket over your shoulders when you shivered, his arms wrapping around your frame.
“I’m starting to think you keep forgetting your jacket on purpose.” he squinted his eyes at you and you giggled.
“Maybe I am.” you looked back at him as he leaned his chin on your shoulder.
“Well, you can always wear mine.” he whispered, turning you around so he could give you a gentle kiss.
Who knew that your band falling apart would bring you together with the love of your life?

“Now, are you sure you’re okay? I can personally file a report for you.” Mr. Kim asked for the 6th time. You roll your eyes, fed up with the badgering. You didn’t understand why he cared so much anyway. He was the one that refused to listen to you when you tried to explain why it wouldn’t be a great idea for you to deliver in Gongdan.
You didn’t go into detail about the assault, or even bother to mention Yoongi being the reason it didn’t escalate. You simply just stated to him that you were attacked and managed to slip free.
Luckily for you though, the old man’s guilt for the attack led him to giving you the rest of the day off and you snatched that offer up immediately. Not like he needed your assistance, seeing as the restaurant was practically dead with only about 4 customers. “I’m fine, Mr. Kim. I promise.” You assure him one last time. “Alright then. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“See you tomorrow.” You exit the shop, the door dinging as you do. You spot Mina’s car sitting in front of the restaurant, and she smiles cheerfully as you climb inside. “Hey. Thanks for picking me up so early.” You sigh, buckling your seatbelt. “No problem… But why am I picking you up so early? And…” she leans forward, peaking at your ripped shirt. “Why is your shirt ripped?”
You scratch your head, the thought of explaining the situation to Mina made your brain itch. “I had to deliver at the Devil’s playground again, and got attacked.” You kept it short and sweet. Mina’s eyes widened in shock. “What?! Was it that Yoongi guy again?!”
You shake your head. “It wasn’t him, it was this group of guys. Yoongi was actually the one that saved me…” you twiddle with your fingers as your mind wanders about the raven. Mina arches a brow at the gentleness in your voice. “He saved you?” You nod slowly in response. “My god, what does he expect from you now? Sexual favors?”
Of course Mina has to be the most dramatic and think the worst possible thought of everything. “No, he didn’t ask me for any favors. Which I guess is surprising for someone with his track record.” You admit, pulling your bottom lip between your teeth. Mina starts up the car, finally moving from the restaurant premises. “Please don’t tell me you’re buddy buddy with that thug now?”
You scoff, letting your eyes roll back. “Of course not! The guy is a criminal, and stalker. I’d never befriend him,” You argue, crossing your arms. Yoongi may have saved you, but you weren’t swayed by his heroic charm. “Anyway, enough about me and my shitty day, it’s too traumatic to talk about. Did you have a talk with Jin like I suggested?” You change the subject. Mina’s face drops at the mention of her boyfriend’s name. “Yeah, we talked for about 2 minutes before it all blew up. Now we’re not on speaking terms,” She sighs. “I think maybe I should break up with him…”
You frown. ‘There she goes being the most dramatic again…’
“Mina, don’t be so damn hasty all the time.” You try to reason with the blonde. “I’m not!” She defended herself. “I’m just tired, y/n. I’m tired of trying to figure him out. I’d rather break up with him before he breaks up with me.”
Mina had never been the girl to get her heart broken. In high school she was the one always doing the heart breaking, so you could tell that it genuinely killed her to love someone as much as she loved Jin, and not know where his head was at regarding their relationship. “I don’t know, Mina… I just know if I was in your shoes with Kookie, I’d try to work things out before I think of the worst possible outcome.”
Mina pouts, but she doesn’t continue to speak. Whether she wanted to admit it or not, you were right. She shouldn’t just jump the gun and break up with Jin. Although he was acting strangely and it was confusing the hell out of her. “You know… I’m jealous of your relationship with Kookie.” She suddenly blurts, causing you to turn to her with a raised brow. “Huh?”
“I’m jealous,” she repeats. “Of you and Jungkook.”
You tilt your head to the side, your eyebrows now scrunched in curiosity. “Why?”
Mina simply shrugs, sitting quietly for a couple of minutes before answering. “You two match, and have an unbeatable connection. You started off as best friends, which played in your favor. I met Jin in the hospital because he had a broken arm. We don’t have the history you and Jungkook have.”
You smile at the compliment towards your relationship, but quickly shake your head. “History isn’t everything. Some people marry their high school sweethearts and breakup. You and Seokjin just need to be mature– or you at least.” Mina whips her head in your direction, her brows furrowed. “What do you mean by ‘or you at least’?”
“I mean that sometimes you’re immature. You tend to freak out when things don’t go your way and storm off like a child.” Mina snarls. “I’m not immature.” She muttered to herself, practically proving your point. The car finally slows down in front of your apartment before coming to a complete stop. “Thanks for the ride again, Mina. I appreciate you.”
“Of course. I’m mature enough to pick up my best friend when she needs me.” She glares, your previous comment still not sitting well with her. You shake your head, paying no mind to her attitude. “Bye, Mina. I hope everything works out with Jin.” You pushed open the car door, climbing out.
“Yeah, you and me both.” She mutters her last words before she waits for you to close the car door, speeding off into the distance with you standing there to watch. You let out a sigh, shrugging. What was the point of her asking for your advice if she was always going to dislike what you had to say?
You turn on your heels, walking up the steps that lead to your building entrance. As you venture down the hall to your apartment, you spot a shaggy haired man placing a bouquet of flowers right in front of your front door. A smile forms your face as you see the one person you longed to see after such a horrendous experience. “Kookie?”
The brunette jumps slightly, your sudden appearance catching him off guard. Once he registers that it’s you, he smiles as well. “Well shit, I wanted to surprise you with something sweet when you got off. Guess that’s a fail.” He scratches the back of his neck, chuckling. You shake your head, instantly embracing him with a hug. “It’s not a fail. I’m so happy to see you.” Even though you pretty much talked on the phone with Jungkook everyday, it felt like you hadn’t seen him in weeks.
Jungkook’s tattooed arms wrap around your waist, returning your gentle embrace. “I’m happy to see you too, angel. What’re you doing home so early though? I thought you weren’t off till 8:00?”
You bit down on your bottom lip. You wanted to start crying right there just thinking about what almost happened to you today. You hadn’t told him about your trip to Gongdan yesterday because you didn’t want him to worry, but now you felt as though he deserved to know this time. “I got attacked today.” You take a step back, showing him your torn shirt. Jungkook looks down, dumbfounded at how he hadn’t clocked your ripped shirt when you first walked in.
“By who?!” He shouts. “If it was Yoongi and his gang I swear to god–”
You shush Jungkook, looking around to make sure none of your neighbors were in the hallway eavesdropping. “Let’s talk about this inside, okay?” The brunette is pissed, but he nods, awaiting for you to open your apartment door. He grabs the flowers from the floor as you dig through your purse for your key. ‘I really need to get a keychain for this thing," you thought, finally finding the piece of metal in your bag.
You open the door, and Jungkook wastes no time storming in. He places the flowers on your kitchen table, pulling out a chair for you to sit and explain yourself. Even though he was angry he still focused on your wellbeing. You close the door, unsure if you really wanted to recite the situation. Too late to change your mind now though.
You shuffle to the seat that Jungkook pulled out for you, plopping down. “So? Was it Yoongi’s doing?”
How do you even begin to explain all of this? Yes, but not really? While Yoongi was the reason you ended up in Gongdan, he isn’t the one that attacked you. But he has taken a weird interest in you ever since the Makoto showdown between you and his trusty stooge. If you told Jungkook that though, he'd just spend every moment trying to protect you and probably do something unnecessary to get himself hurt. You didn’t want that.
So, maybe it was best to embellish the truth a bit and leave Yoongi out of it.
“I had a delivery in Gongdan today. Jimin was out sick, and I was the only one that could deliver it. A group of guys attacked me on my way back to the restaurant.” Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows. “You had a delivery at the devil’s playground and you took it? What the hell were you thinking?”
“I was thinking that I had to do my job. I had no choice, Kookie. Mr. Kim wasn’t letting me out of it. Believe me, I tried.” The brunette scoffed, redirecting his anger to Mr. Kim. “I should go down there and kick that old man’s ass,” He muttered. Jungkook was never too fond of Mr. Kim. He thought the old man could be a bit misogynistic.
“Did they hurt you?” His voice is now more tender. You shook your head. “No. I’m fine,” You assure him. “The only thing that got hurt is my precious shirt.” You laugh a bit, trying to lighten the mood. “Did they just let you go? How’d you get free?” He pressed on.
“Umm…” you trail off, your thoughts once again wandering to the raven haired man.
“So Wonder Woman, you ready to accept that ride today?”
“They got scared off by someone that happened to be walking by. Lucky me, huh?”
Jungkook sighs smoothly, crouching down in front of your chair. He takes your hands in his, interlocking your fingers. “I’m glad you’re okay, y/n. I hate to know you experienced that and I wasn’t there.” He frowns, leering down at your hands. “Jungkook, you’re not gonna be able to be there for everything, and that’s okay. You’re here now, when I need you the most.”
Jungkook looks up at you. “And I’ll stay here.”
“Please remind me to stop letting you pick out movies. You always pick the cheesiest ones.” Jungkook grimaced as you two reached the end of your movie. You wiped stray tears from your eyes, glaring over at your soon-to-be boyfriend. “The Princess Diaries is a classic. I love it.” Jungkook snorts, shaking his head. “Yeah, well next time I’m picking the movie. Your selection sucks.”
You gasp, taking a pillow from the other end of the couch. “Take that back.” You cock the pillow, ready to deliver a blow. “Okay, okay. I’m sorry… that you’re ass at picking movies.” You swing the pillow down on him, and his hands go up in self defense as he laughs, his back landing on the couch cushions to better protect his face. You take this advantage to straddle the brunette’s waist, continuing your attack until he ultimately surrenders. “Okay, I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” You finally toss the pillow back down to the end of the couch, a victory smirk plastered on your face. “I knew you’d see it my way.”
“Hard not to when I’m being attacked by a pillow.” He looks up at you, still straddling his waist. Jungkook’s hands slowly roam up your legs, stopping to grip your hips. “You’re so beautiful, you know that?” Your cheeks heated up with the compliment, and you felt a sudden wave of warmth between your legs that made you anxious. This was it. There was no better time than this to lose your virginity to Jungkook.
You lean forward, pressing your lips to his pierced ones, the metal was cold against you; Jungkook didn’t hold back, or hesitate the moment your lips were against his. Your mouths moved in sync, but sloppily at the same time as though you both wanted it real bad– and you did. Jungkook’s hands moved from your hips, reaching back to cup your ass in his hands, giving your cheeks a squeeze.
You moaned softly into his mouth, rolling your hips over the rough fabric of his jeans until you felt his cock harden underneath you. Jungkook made sure to assist you, his hands pressing you down harder against his confined length. Your panties were soaked, and your mind was in a daze. You were sure that you had dampened his jeans by now. “Fuck, Y/n…” he muttered in between kisses. “We have to stop before I can’t stop.”
“Then don’t stop, I want this.” You whine, rolling your hips faster. Jungkook moans, eyes squeezing shut. “Fuck, I can’t.” He grabs your hips, forcing you to stop. You take the hint, but you can’t help the pang in your chest. Was there something wrong with you? You didn’t get it. What was he waiting for? You climb off of him, taking your place back on the couch.
It’s silent as Jungkook sits up on the couch, running his fingers through his hair. “Y/n…”
“Save it,” You cut him short. “You don’t want to have sex with me, I get it.” Jungkook shakes his head. “That’s not true. I do.” He argued. You scoff, rolling your eyes. “So then what’s the problem? I’m always practically giving signals that I’m ready and you’re holding back. You have never done that with any girl you’ve dated before me.”
“You’re not any girl I’ve dated before you.”
“Right, I’m y/n, the girl that’s been your best friend for years and the truth is that’s probably all you see me as.” Jungkook says nothing, he doesn’t even bother to argue because that’s just something he hates doing with you. “I uh… I should go.”
“Then go.” You snapped. Jungkook nods, standing up from the couch. As he walks to the front door, he looks back at you. You don’t look his way, you just continue to stare forward. “You’re not any girl I’ve dated before you.” He repeats; those are his final words before he opens the door and leaves.
Your eyes brim with tears as you finally turn, looking towards the table where Jungkook’s bouquet of flowers sat.
“Well well well, look who made a full recovery today.” You eye Jimin taking orders as you walk into Makoto. Jimin smiles at you, happy to see you in what felt like forever since you two worked together. “Y/n, it’s good to see you too.” He greets. You cross your arms, not in a greeting mood. “I have a bone to pick with you once you’re done here.” You say, walking back to the kitchen to clock in.
“Y/n, good afternoon. How are you feeling today?” Mr. Kim asks you as you grab an apron from the hook, tying the black fabric around your waist. “It’s a Monday, how am I supposed to be feeling?” You speak dreadfully. You barely got any sleep after what happened last night with Jungkook, and now you were at work. Jungkook hadn’t even called or texted you. Not that you wanted him to right now.
“Well, I meant everything that happened yesterday, how are you feeling today?” He reiterates. You grab a time card, swiping it through the clock. “I’m fine, Mr. Kim.” You walk past him, taking a notepad and pen from the cup holder. Jimin walks back into the kitchen, his face suddenly pale like he was ready to puke. Maybe he was sick.
“Hey, um, there’s someone out there at table three that’s requesting for you to take their order.” He says, scratching the back of his neck. You raise a skeptical brow. ‘Requesting me? Could it be Jungkook?’ You thought. Maybe he wanted to talk in person instead of over the phone. You didn’t see why he couldn’t have waited until your shift was over and come to your apartment, but you didn’t argue with the gesture.
“Okay…?” You walk out of the kitchen towards the dining area. As you scope out table three, you don’t see Jungkook, but in fact, Yoongi, Joon, and two other guys you don’t know. That’s why Jimin looked so sickly. You shake your head, sauntering over to their table. “What’re you doing here? Was yesterday not enough?” You snap at Yoongi.
“Nice to see you too,” the raven laughs, leaning back in his chair. “Yesterday is the reason I’m here in person, sweetheart. Wouldn’t want you getting your pretty self into any more trouble in my hood.” He smirked. “You remember my boy Joon, don’t you?”
“Wonder Woman, it’s good to see you again.” You glare at Joon, rolling your eyes. You didn’t have time for this. Yoongi was the last person you cared to see right now, and you definitely never wanted to see Nam-joon again. “So are you here to order something or are you here to be the bane of my existence?”
“Depends… are you on the menu?” He bites his bottom lip, looking you up and down. Joon, and Yoongi’s other two minions snicker and you’ve decided you’ve had enough of this pig fest. “Okay, goodbye.” You turn to head back to the kitchen, but Yoongi stops you by grabbing your wrist. “I’m just joking around, sweetheart. I’m here to ask you something.” You pull your wrist from his grip, turning back to face him. “Ask me what?”
“Well, I’m having this kickback at my place tonight. I want you to slide through.” You scrunch your eyebrows together in confusion. “What on earth would make you think I’d dare to step foot into Gongdan again? And what makes you think I’d go to your shifty ass warehouse?”
“Well, I just thought after my heroism the other day you would want to thank me more properly.” You scoffed. Mina was right. He was expecting some kind of sexual favor from you. “I knew it. You only helped because you thought you could use me later on. I should’ve expected that from someone like you.” You leave their table, making your way back towards the kitchen, but this time Yoongi stands up from his seat to follow you.
“Princess,” He stops you again, his hand grazing your waist, but he doesn’t fully touch you in a manner that came across as though he was trying to respect your boundaries–for once. He steps in front of you, blocking your way to the kitchen. “It’s not like that. I helped you because I wanted to.”
“Is that so? Because it truly didn’t seem like it just a second ago.” You snarled, crossing your arms. The raven makes a “tsk” sound before continuing on. “Sweetheart, if that’s all I wanted from you then I would’ve made you give it to me right there in the alleyway. Regardless of what happened,” His face was stone cold serious. He meant that. You stood silent, not knowing what to say next.
“Listen… sometimes I have these kickbacks, and they’re a vibe, but it would be better if I saw your pretty face there.” His voice is soft, so soft that you didn’t think someone like Yoongi could produce such a tone. “I don’t think it would be a good idea for me to take a bus through Gongdan at night.”
“So don’t. I’ll pick you up.”
You sigh, slowly feeling yourself ready to cave in and you didn’t know why. You literally could not stand this man. He was a stalker for fuck sakes. A criminal. And yet… here you were ready to accept his invitation because of one good gesture, and a sudden softness to his voice. Yoongi’s eyes search for yours until they lock, a smile forming his face. For a moment as you're looking into the raven’s eyes you begin to question is he really the monster he makes people believe? Or is that all for looks?
“Hey, can we get the check please?” A customer calls out. Your eyes snap away from Yoongi’s. You had almost forgotten you were at work. “Look, I have to get back to work. I’ll… I’ll let you know.” You take your notepad, writing down your phone number. As you rip the paper from the pad, you actually begin to question your sanity. You hand the paper to Yoongi, his lips tilting in a sly smirk as he takes it.
“I look forward to hearing from you, princess.”

A thought — Ballister and Ambrosius’s relationship probably wasn’t public in the movie until the end. They probably weren’t secretive about it, given how Todd (someone neither of them like or would confide in) was clearly antagonistic to Ambrosius after Ballister’s jailbreak, but even then that just might be because their connection was well known — they liked each other more than any of the knights liked them, most being neutral overall to Ambrosius and outright bullies to Ballister. No one in the public seems to know about them
Media perception is a reoccurring factor in the movie, with the opening scene giving exposition in the form of a news cast. During it, Ballister is shown to be controversial, with a there being a few comments questioning the Queen’s choices related to him. Ambrosius is also brought up as someone everyone’s looking forward to seeing officially knighted, with no one questioning his relationship with Ballister or even bringing it up
While everyone is fearing and hating Ballister after the Queen dies, Ambrosius is still popular among the masses — people stop him in the streets to get his autograph. Nimona, who admittedly probably didn’t do much digging into Ballister beyond the initial news reports on the Queen’s deaths, seemed surprised that Ballister and Ambrosius had a connection. She even had an “ohhhhhh” moment after picking up on their vibe the first time they saw each other post-arm chop (and yeah she initially calls Ambrosius Ballister’s nemesis, but she clearly clocks that something romantic was going on given the “arm chopping is not a love language!” comment). She also asks if he wants to die in a (literal) closet, which like. Y’all.
Before the Queen’s death, all their PDA is in private (on the catwalk) or subtly around other knights (helping each other put on their armor with lots of heart eyes and lingering hands). Otherwise, their interactions are those of Two People Who Are Close but aren’t necessarily explicitly romantic (Ambrosius wanting to throw hands on Ballister’s behalf, teasing each other, Ambrosius cheering with the crowd). Granted, there wasn’t a lot of screen time for them to just be happy before Everything Went Wrong.
We can’t really judge whether they were private from their interactions after the Queen’s death, since most are focused on a “so this traumatic thing happened and I don’t know where we stands right now” vibe or have them just fighting. The three times Ambrosius says he loves Ballister, one was just the two of them on the catwalk, one was in a mental rant and not actually out loud, and one was while they were trying to hide their identities. Ballister continues to defend Ambrosius, saying he’d believe them if they could just talk and that the arm thing is just “complicated,” “part of their training, up until Ambrosius outright tries to arrest them (which might as well be a breakup without saying “we’re breaking up”).
In the comic, the Director says she knew about their relationship and that she disapproved. Given how much she manipulates things, it wouldn’t surprise me if she knew in the movie, and encouraged them to downplay things at least — “you should keep your private lives private so you don’t taint your public images/yes we support you, obviously, but you’re here to protect the people, not show off to them/you don’t want to overshadow things with more controversy, wait a few years until after you’re knighted/what if this is just a phase, it would be a mess to clean up if you go public now/people will talk if they hear Gloreth’s only current descendant, a promising young man, is being courted by someone they aren’t certain about who comes from nothing and can’t pass your genes on/you have each other, shouldn’t that be enough?/etc.”
We don’t see them be in a relationship publicly until after the wall — the symbol of fear of the unknown, systematic abuse and oppression, refusal to learn and grow, and let’s be real homophobia/transphobia — comes down and the Director — the one going to murderous extremes out of fear of change — is dead
I dunno. This movie is a large celebration of being queer, but it’s also about how queer people are demonized by society to the point of everyone suffering. Ambrosius is the model minority everyone loves but no one knows because all eyes are on him; Ballister is both tokenized and targeted from the moment the public meets him, having to prove himself over and over until the public unquestionably turns on him entirely; and Nimona is called a monster for just being herself. All three already had to hide who they really were. I’m not 100% sure if Ballister and Ambrosius were out or not about being together, but it’s not a stretch to see, and it fits in with the themes/arcs of this movie

HURTS SO BAD | PART 2 | CHOI SEUNGCHEOL
summary | seungcheol’s pov from my previous fic
genre | angst
word count | 1k
pairing | choi seungcheol x gn!reader
“Fuck you, Seungcheol.”
Instantly, as these words escaped your mouth, he regretted every single thing he just said, praying that he could somehow turn back time. But there was nothing he could do now, the damage was done, and he simply watched you leave with a heartbroken expression.
He wanted nothing more than to crumble into a small ball and hide somewhere far from here.
Despite the music still playing from the speakers, the silence in the room was almost deafening. Seungcheol could feel the hard stares from the boys, as they tried to wrap their heads around what just happened.
“Did you actually lose your mind?” Jeonghan was the first to speak up. Seungcheol didn’t dare to look up and face the disappointed expressions of his friends.
“Never in all those years we have been together have you ever said anything so cruel, no matter how fuck up things were. And now you lash out at your, mind you, partner for being worried about you?” Jeonghan scoffed, clearly angry at his bandmate.
Seungcheol knew that there was nothing he could say or do to make this situation better, he only stood there with hunched shoulders and a tight throat.
“What has gotten into me,” he thought.
Yes, he was stressed as hell, and everything irritated him lately, but he swore he would never take his anxiety out on you. Well, until now.
The jacket you threw at him caught his attention, laying abandoned on the floor. Is this how you feel right now - left behind and neglected, by the person who was supposed to love you no matter what? He took a step to pick it up, still feeling the warmth of your body coming from it.
“I’m going to fix this,” Seungcheol said quietly, putting the fabric to his chest.
“Did I hear you right, hyung? You’re going to make it right?” laughed Mingyu, approaching the older one. “You just yelled at your partner and told them the worst things you could have ever possibly said. We can put up with your bitchy behavior, but that’s not an excuse to treat them like shit,” he said, clearly very agitated by the whole affair.
“Let it go Mingyu, he knows what he has done. It’s his problem now how he’s going to get out of this shit,” said Jihoon, putting an arm on the taller’s shoulder to calm him down.
“Yeah, but it doesn’t change the fact that he just basically emotionally abused one of my best friends.”
“Hey, don’t you fucking dare saying I abused them in any way,” Seungcheol raised his voice at at younger boy, his emotions getting out of hand. “I know what I have done, and I’m going to make it right again,” he said, not exactly convinced himself.
“So what, you think you'll buy them flowers, pout and make puppy eyes, and they'll forgive you?” he scoffed and crossed his arms, making him look bigger than he already was.
“No, making puppy eyes is your thing, I’m not that cheap,” Seungcheol fired right back at him.
With each exchange between Seungcheol and Mingyu the tension only escalated, the atmosphere becoming charged with a mix of anger, frustration, and hurt. Their tones harsh and cutting, both of them tried to defend their position. Sadness, and disappointment were evident on their faces, further fueling the intensity of the situation.
“I messed up, alright? But you're acting like I hurt them on purpose-.”
“Well, to us it looked like you wanted to-.”
“Could you just stay the fuck away from my relationship and focus on your shitty love life?”
The rest of the boys, who were skeptically watching what was going on, knew this wouldn’t end well. Mingyu might have been passive most of the time, letting the others walk over him and still not batting an eye, but when it comes to his friends and their well being, he wouldn’t just stand around and watch.
Wonwoo who was standing by the mirrors slowly came up to Mingyu and patted his back.
“There is no use Mingoo, you’re not helping here,” he said sternly.
“Well, I have the right to be angry.”
“No one said you didn’t, but let’s not add more fuel to the fire, okay?”
Mingyu glared at Seungcheol for the final time, before turning around and walking out of the room.
“I’m going to check up on him,” said Mingaho.
As the tension evaporated the second Mingyu left, Seungcheol could feel his anger turn to sadness and powerlessness. Now not only has he hurt you, but also his friend, who was so dear to him.
Seungcheol felt trapped, not knowing what to do next and feeling extremely mentally and emotionally drained. He sighed deeply with a blank stare, drained from all of his usual energy.
With the silence still apparent, everyone parted ways to give Seungcheol some space. Only Jeonghan and Joshua stayed by his side, not knowing what to do.
“What am I supposed to do now?” asked the oldest, with a tired voice.
“We’re all here for you, Coups and you're not alone in this. Don’t worry about Mingyu for now, he’ll come around,” said Joshua. “Take a deep breath and try to think clearly about this.”
“It's just that everything seems to be going wrong, and I feel like I have no control over it.”
“We know, but you should have just talked to them. Why didn’t you do it? Why did it have to come to this Coups?” asked Jeonghan.
“I don’t know, I really don’t. I thought I was stronger than this, that it would pass and everything would be okay. I just didn’t want to be a burden to them.”
“Well that didn’t end up too well,” said Joshua, laughing at Seungcheol’s pouting face.
“Thank you for being here for me. I really need that right now.”
“Of course! That's what family is for. But that doesn’t change the fact that we’re all so pissed at you right now,” said Jeonghan.
“Yeah, for a second there I thought Mingyu was going to punch me or something,” chuckled Sungcheol.
“I wish he did,” muttered Joshua, and walked away quickly before the oldest could respond.
“I’m going to make this right,” thought Seungcheol. “No matter what it takes.”

—————
I'm going there to see my mother She said she'd meet me when I come
I'm just a-goin' over Jordan I'm just a-goin' over home
I'm going there to see my father I'm going there, no more to roam
I'm just a-goin' over Jordan I'm just a-goin' over home
The Tipsy Bison ha a stillness that the patrons noticed the normal presence of Joel Miller but tonight it was much more intimidating as he waited there. Ellie returns holding a glass for Joel and herself, his signature whiskey on the rocks, and water for herself.
“You’re too filled with anxiety you gotta chill,” Ellie pushes the drink to him and he gives the girl a look before accepting a drink. He takes a bitter sip from it before looking out the window to the approaching sunset.
“It’s sundown,” Joel says trying to stand but Ellie forces him back down.
“Come on Joel have some faith in him,” Ellie reassures him and he huffs but settles back in his seat taking his drink down like a shot. There seemed like a sort of tension in the air just waiting for something to snap. The door to the Tipsy Bison opens and Joel relaxes seeing it is only his brother who enters. Tommy comes over to the table and pulls up a chair.
“Look I talked to Maria and the council the best they can offer is removing both Y/n and Lila from the house until we can get to the bottom of it. But if neither Y/n nor Lila give us evidence that abuse or anything is happening in that home…” Tommy hesitates to speak knowing it would piss Joel off, “They would go back to them.”
“That’s bullshit, Tommy. She goes Y/n wrapped around her finger, she could beat her black and blue, and still she would defend her.” Joel says slapping his palm on the table.
“Look I know it’s not ideal but it’s the best we can offer,” He raises his hands in defense, “I also talked to Maria about other stuff though…Joel, when’s the last time we saw Y/n’s mother?” Both Joel and Ellie give him a confused look at the absurd question.
“Just answer for my sanity.” Tommy urges and Joel thinks about the last time they interacted.
“Probably in the early years of the outbreak, we were all together in Dallas before we split,” Joel explains and Tommy nods.
“So say like…about eighteen years ago,” Tommy says and Joel unconsciously nods if his math was right yeah around that time.
“Holy shit,” Ellie says having caught on and Joel gives her a confused look before looking over at his brother.
“What?”
“Did you hook up with Y/n’s mom?” Ellie asks quite loudly and Joel shushes her looking around to make sure no one heard. “I’m serious did you?” Joel looks over at his brother with a face reading ‘Well did you?’ he sighs pinching his bridge.
“It was only a few times,” Joel mumbles, and Tommy coughs under his breath ‘Bullshit’ which Joel glares at him but takes in the implication. “There’s no way she’s…”
“Joel think about it, I didn’t even notice it but she looks like a mixture of you and her mother but she acts fully like you,” Tommy explains and Joel looks away, “You haven’t looked at her and not seen yourself…or even Sarah?” The comment of his deceased daughter makes him turn to his brother and Tommy can see it on his face. He has thought about it, it’s been on his mind since that night he brought you home from the clearing. Why does he keep blending memories of Sarah with you when you should have no place in his mind or heart? But he can’t help it.
“Let’s say she is. You saw her reaction to seeing her mother and her father, who could be her actual father,” Joel says and Tommy gives him a look.
“That man looks nothing like her, sure Lila does but Y/n no fucking way,” Tommy says and Joel sighs putting his head in his hands. There had to be a reasonable explanation for all of this. Your mother had to know who the father was, and if he was the father why would she keep it from him? Unless she didn’t learn until after they parted ways and there was no chance of reconnecting in this world. Too many thoughts ran through his head and he wanted to just be clear of them.
A loud crack fills the air and everyone in the bar is brought to the attention an edge to the room. Joel sits up straight and his gaze darts around at the other patrons who seem to freeze trying to listen to what that noise is. The doors to the bar swing open and Joel catches a glimpse of your father with a shotgun before it erupts into chaos.
A round shatters the table within the time Tommy flips the table over to shield them as Joel grabs Ellie protecting her from the blown-off wood.
“Joel Miller!” Derek shouts and another shot is fired but not aimed at them but at the bar. Joel flinches seeing the barkeep sent back dead before he hits the ground with the shotgun he tried using in his grasp. Other patrons scream ducking to hide from the violence happening before them. “Come on out Joel…I wanted to ask some advice you know father to father.” His voice calls out and Joel keeps his back pressed against the wood glancing over at the shotgun that lies just feet away.
“Tommy get Ellie out of here, find Maria, and get the girls out of here,” Joel whispers to his brother and Ellie gives him a look.
“We’re not leaving you, Joel!” Ellie whisper-shouts.
“I’ll be fine! Ellie listens to Tommy do everything he says,” Joel orders, and Ellie frowns but nods, “On my signal you to head to the kitchen door.” Both Tommy and Ellie nod as Joel grabs the whiskey glass calming his racing heart. Quickly he rises and throws the glass at Derek hitting him on the head Joel rushes to the bar as Ellie and Tommy rush to the kitchen doors. Derek fires at the doors as the swing closes. Leaning against the bar counter the shotgun in his hands silently looking to see it loaded with two shells.
“No one else needs to get hurt Joel,” Derek calls out sounding closer, “I’m dying to ask for your opinion since you’ve been with my wife. Do you think Y/n will be just as good?” Red takes over his vision as his finger rests on the trigger.
“I mean after I kill you I’ll go show the kid some father love,” He laughs cynically, “Before I then blow her brains out.” Instantly, Joel appears when Derek turns away shooting at his knee. Derek screams falling to the ground and Joel kicks away the shotgun and sends a swift kick to his ribs forcing him on his back.
“Where is she?!” Joel yells and Derek laughs already knowing he’s dead. “Where is she!” He roars.
“She’s dead even if you find her. Every raider wants her head on a spike.” Derek says and there’s a flash of silver as he tries to stab Joel but he easily pulls the trigger killing him right there and then. Emptying the chamber, Joel searches Derek finding a handgun with a few clips, and takes his neck. The patrons hidden in the Tipsy Bison perk up now that the threat was eliminated.
“Barricade yourselves in,” Joel says passing Derek’s shotgun off to one of the people that he’s seen on patrols, “Don’t let anyone that you don’t recognize.” He says before leaving the bar and seeing the chaos happening outside immediately thrown into fighting for his life. He was going to find you even if he was going to die doing it.
You fight at the restraints in the dark pulling with all your strength to try and free yourself. You bite down on the rag and pull your left hand with all your strength feeling the burn and pain as you scream. A sickening pop as your thumb is dislocated immediately swells and hurts as you scream. Sliding your hand free as it fits through the restraint, you reach over to start undoing the other strap. Only a sliver of light comes from outside but it’s past sunset which only makes it darker. With your other hand free you sit up and work at the restraints on your feet, your stomach aches with the still raw burns. The sudden pop that fills the air makes you freeze until you hear screams fill the air. Hopping off the table and feeling around for a light switch the room was bathed in light blinding you for a second. Grabbing the door handle and tugging at the door handle it doesn’t budge as more pops and screams fill the air. Looking around the basement it just looks like storage of random junk of whoever was the previous owner. In the far back, you find an old recurve bow with a quiver of arrows. Slinging the bow and quiver over your shoulder you head to the window high in the air. Pushing the table as it scratches the floor to the window you stand on it undoing the latch, easily breaking the flimsy screen where you slide the bow and quiver through before sliding out afterward. Slinging the quiver your shoulder already nocking an arrow feeling the pain in your thumb holding the bow but you push through. You are between two houses and you follow to where the window to your bedroom should be it is slightly opened and you push it further and you climb inside. You are silent as you leave the room entering the hallway on the first floor, creeping along the walls peering into any open rooms not finding anyone on the first floor but the aftermath of what you assume the raiders preparing their attack. You hear movement upstairs and you freeze aiming your bow at the stairs where you hear the heavy footsteps, a man most likely moves amongst the top floor and you map out where he’s heading. He opens a door and you stare at the ceiling where he would be, he’s in the bathroom. Stalking up the stairs avoiding easily the ones that creak finding yourself at the top landing and you see on the other end of the hallway a man with his back towards you taking a piss with the door wide open. Raising the bow you watch him finish his business zipping up his pants as he turns a rifle slung over his back. His eyes widen as the life leaves him and the arrow goes straight through his eye as he falls back crashing into the toilet. Lowering the bow you move into the path raiding him of any belongings, taking the automatic rifle that you sling over your shoulder, and shoving the multitude of extra clips into your pockets, you take his knife tucking it in your belt and he also has a handgun with only a clip full while taking a thigh holster.
“Hello? Momma? Daddy?” You hear Lila’s voice call out and you rush back to where her bedroom is trying to open the door but it’s locked.
“Lila I need you to do me a favor,” You say, “I need you to go in the closet and cover your ears for me. Don’t come out until I say so.” You hear some shuffling before she calls out again.
“I’m in the closet!” Taking the handgun pressing it as close to the door lock as possible and pulling the trigger. A loud noise fills the room and you step back before sending a harsh kick to the door and it easily flies open. Rushing into the room you open the closet door seeing Lila hidden within the hangers her hands still covering her ears. She rushes into your arms and you hold her tight pulling her back to look over her and she has no injuries besides teary eyes.
“I heard screams…and you have a bunch of ouchies,” She says tearing up and you wipe them away.
“I’m alright Lila but we aren’t safe here we have to go,” You say and you find your pack in her room loading it up with some of her clothes before putting it over your shoulders situating your weapons, the bow over your shoulder and the arrows held from your pack, you hold the rifle in your hands.
“Where are we going?” She asks looking at you in her hands clutching one of her stuffed animals. You weren’t sure where, if Jackson was compromised you didn’t know. You weren’t even sure if the others were alive. You could go back to the cabin to recuperate before heading North. Your original plan when you first met Tommy and Jesse, reach Canada and start fresh there.
“We’re heading to my home,” You say, bending down and holding her cheeks, “I need you to be brave and listen to everything I say you understand.” She nods her head and you press a kiss on her forehead.
“Okay let’s go,” You hold her hand as she follows you as you head down the stairs making sure she doesn’t see in the bathroom before stopping right before the front door. You just needed to get to the stables get Red saddled up and you were out of here. Part of you wanted to try and find the others but the little girl clutching your leg is your priority.
Get to the stables, tack up Red, head to the cabin, and then head north.
You take a deep breath removing the safety of the rifle before opening the door and seeing the empty streets before you, “Come on.” Quickly you head down the street seeing some of the bodies on the street, some are people of Jackson but others you don’t recognize, raiders you have to guess. You hear Lila whimper silently crying.
“Don’t look at them, Lila.” You order and she clutches onto the strap of your backpack as you both continue down the streets. It seemed the more residential areas were deserted or already run through as the number of raiders and Jacksonian people fought towards the main gate. Sticking to the alleys and familiar paths you took to avoid the main street when working at the stables. You’re quick and efficient in taking down raiders before they even react to you and Lila. You press against the half-wall of the market stalls glancing at the stables that were so close. You just need to get there and tack up Red and you’d be good.
“M/n!” A voice calls out your mother’s name and you flinch and you see Lila perk up about to speak but you cover her mouth. She struggles a bit but you hold a finger to your mouth telling her to be quiet and she settles. “We found Derek’s body dumped outside the bar, we still haven’t found Miller yet.” You hear your mother curse.
“Fucking find him already, it’s a small town he can’t hide far.”
“Another thing, we stopped at the house…Issac is dead and your daughters are gone..” The man says and your mother bursts into rage.
“Fucking find that piece of shit and kill her!” She roars and people rush off. Settling down until the loud pop fills the air too close for comfort and a shoot-out ensues. Holding Lila tight to you as her cries muffled in your shirt.
“It’s Miller!” Someone shouts and you perk up. He was near but you didn’t know which one, Maria, Tommy, or Joel. Looking back at the stables seeing an opening with everyone distracted, slinging the rifle over your shoulder before turning to Lila.
“I need you to be extremely quiet and once we get inside go inside Red’s pen and hide in the hay can you do that?” You ask and she nods. You wait for the right timing before scooping her up and running full speed to the stables, and sliding through the gaps in the fences of the dry lot that connects to the stables on the opposite side of the fighting. Finding Red’s stable lifting her over and she drops down into the hay quickly hiding herself among it. Red paces already on edge from the fighting happening around them you hop over the wall into Red’s pen before heading outside the stables grabbing her saddle pad, the saddle, and her reins before rushing into the stall. Red moves impatiently filled with anxiety that you feel as well.
“I’m sorry Red I know this isn’t ideal,” You say throwing the saddle pad over her before quickly adding her saddle your hands shaking with the buckles to fully attach it. Each pop of gunfire only adds more fear to you. With her saddle secure you rip off your pack and strap it on the saddle, sliding the rifle into the holster built into the saddle. Grabbing the reins trying to gently and as fast as possible to get her bridle and bit on Red seems to understand the urgency and cooperates. With her all set you go to grab Lila when you hear someone stumble inside the stables curses coming from a gruff voice.
“Fucking dick,” He curses and you press yourself against the wall hearing an empty magazine fall to the ground and the sound of him fumbling with getting the other in when you strike. You rush up behind him pouncing on his burly back and digging your knife in his shoulder. He cries and slams his head back and you feel your nose crack but hold on. He tries shooting behind him but you keep close to him as you keep stabbing at him. He slams his back on a large pillar making you wheeze in pain but you see your stabs are getting to him as life drains from him. Giving a final stab he falls to his knees blood pooling around his head. Gasping for air to catch your breath when a hand grabs your hair and you scream as they drag you out of the stables.
“I found her!” They yell dragging you through a group of raiders who send glares and look thirsty for blood. You’re thrown to the ground smacked your face to the ground as you are pinned down. There is your mother speckled in blood looking down at you beside you is Joel pinned to the ground it doesn’t look great, blood but you aren’t sure if it’s his or others.
“It didn’t have to end up like this Y/n…if only you listened to your mother.” She says almost with pity and you growl thrashing in the raider's arms.
“You’re not my mother!” You hiss and she comes over kicking your square in your ribs making you cry out.
“Stop it!” Joel yells and she turns her attention to him.
“Oh no, you want to step up as a father?” Your mother spits, “You’re about eighteen years too late.” She turns back to you.
“Where’s Lila?” She demands and you glare at her.
“I’m not letting you hurt her.” You spat and she looked indifferent.
“You think I care about her, she’s just another burden like you were. That’s why I had to get rid of you,” Your eyes widen at her confession, “You were so stupid and willing to be snuck out of the QZ to find your dear mommy some medicine. You were supposed to get infected so we had an excuse to kill you, but you just had to live.” She crouches down and you hear the cocking of her gun as the cool metal presses against your forehead. You see Joel thrashing as he shouts but you don’t even hear it.
“Be glad I gave you the family reunion you were so desperate for,” Her finger rests on the trigger and you’re unsure why you aren’t afraid. Maybe you’ve expected death for a while, whether from something simple or by infected. To be executed by your mother in front of your father wasn’t how you thought it would go.

you can act all calm and rational and claim you’re just “debunking misinformation”, but I need you to realize you’re not just defending a creator you like. You’re being dismissive of the suffering dream has caused his friends, you’re stepping around the misogyny hes been engaging in, you’re trying to help a guy who should not be helped. Dream is not just a misunderstood creator who people hate for petty reasons, he is a horrible abusive manipulative asshole, and shame on you for continuing to defend him. Fuck you.
Yeah obviously I'm defending him, I'm a human being. I'm incapable of explaining something without my opinion shining through, and so are you. That's just how humans and language work
Okay so. Augh. Anon first of all, could you show me examples of Dream being misogynistic? Like actual clips or something? And on that note, this is petty but you are aware that on the other side of this is Tommy, who has made jokes about drugging and raping women live on stream, and who has a whole mess related to one of his (ex)friends getting kicked off the group after she expressed that one of them made her feel uncomfortable?
Just. Anon how is he manipulative. Who has he abused. I mean this genuinely, you can not like him for his actions, but making claims with no backing is just? Nothing?
What am I supposed to do now? A ghost voice has told me to go fuck myself, what do I gain from that? You're attacking me to pick a fight, and while that feels good in the moment, it also doesn't lead anywhere else.
I'm being genuine when I try to clear up misconceptions because then the next time I talk to someone who doesn't like Dream they might have opinions based in reality, not just rumor mills that have twisted his words into something insane
And on a side note, this is also petty, but you are dismissing his suffering. Does he not deserve to be angry about a man attacking him and calling him a shitton of slurs? Does he not deserve to be upset about someone he thought to be a friends repeatedly breaking a boundary? This is not black and white anon, and there is no clear awful villain here. I know I won't make anyone like Dream with these posts, but that was never the point
#the voices#discourse#also I'll let you know Im very not calm and collected#ive been clutching a rosary for emotional support for 3 days now#and I was definitely not reading your ask#but people before that have been equally kind to me because Im trying to be kind to them#tommy neg#tommyinnit neg#<-sorry I forgot to tag those#adding it now

‘ 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐘 .
you took interest in someone you never thought you would.
arminxreader, black!reader, 90s highschool based, language throughout, sexual references throughout (maybe not in this chapter), hood themed, mental /some physical abuse, armin referred to as ‘white boy armin’, all characters are 18+ except for the ones that obviously aren’t and in the beginning, NO PROOFREAD YALL.
“aye, white boy.”
“white boy armin!”
“you’re a disappointment, armin.”
“mommy loves you, armin. okay?”
he lived up to those same words and phrases everyday, nothing new. it’s just the way he lived. growing up from hearing his mom and dad argue every single damn day, shits annoying. especially when the attention moved on to him.
and he was only 12.
“you don’t know what he goes through at school, or even here, because you’re not around enough!” that was his mom.
“i don’t give a shit what happens at school or here. i don’t want him to grow up like the rest of the kids on these streets. look at where we fuckin live, woman! you actually think he’s gonna have fun here?” that was his dad. he hates his dad. he was always yelling, and drinking, and yelling again.
but armin was quiet. he didn’t really get to have a say in things, but even when he did, he didn’t say anything.
“yo, armin! can you come out today?” eren asked, across the street of armin’s house. he stood up and glanced back at his house, shrugging.
and then there were the streets. the damn hood streets where a lot of shit happens, a lot of shit was seen. but he had to be some kind of ‘privileged white boy’? no. did he wanna be? no. but he didn’t like where he lived. he only grew to like it, especially when you came into the picture.
now you were one of the girls that everyone wanted to talk to at school, the one with the good style and the good personality that every boy always wanted to kiss or date.
“this armin. he cool, real chill. he quiet but you know, you gon’ start liking him when y’all get closer.” ony said. you all walked the sidewalks together, them walking you home to make sure you were safe on the way. ‘them’ being eren, ony, and armin. eren knew armin the longest, and he would be considered to be ‘white boy eren’, but he wasn’t even from around there. he went to a different school, and fought almost everywhere he went, which is why he wasn’t from around there anymore.
“you new here or sum? or you just quiet.” you looked up at him, holding your backpack on your shoulder.
“quiet.” he muttered, looking away.
he wasn’t gonna lie when he said he didn’t really like you at first. but as years went by, it was more of you he could stand.
“boy i don’t want you. i already said that.” you looked at a boy as you closed your locker.
“bi-“
“say it. i want you to.” armin said, leaning against a locker behind the guy, making him turn around. “who the fuck you posed to be? oh. that white boy.” he scoffed.
armin raised his eyebrows.
yeah, that was his third fight that month.
and the third time his dad yelled at him in that week.
“why the hell am i gettin’ calls from the school saying you’re suspended again? see, this is why you need to stay in the damn house and be homeschooled—!”
as he kept rambling, armin closed the fridge and sighed, walking upstairs.
“don’t walk away from me when i’m fucking talking to you, arlert!” his dad slammed his beer glass down and followed armin.
“so i can’t walk and listen at the same time? ight.” armin mumbled.
“the fuck did you just say?” his dad squinted, making his way to his room.
armin turned around. “i said-“ “honey, just leave him alone. he hasn’t did anything bad, maybe he was just defending his self!” his mom rushed in the picture, but was shoved out of the way. his dad grabbed his shirt and pinned him against the wall.
“listen you little shit. you talk back to me again and i’ll break your fuckin’ face. i don’t know where you get your attitude from, but you need to shut the hell up like you did when you were younger.” his dad snapped through gritted teeth. armin’s breathing got heavy and he bit his bottom lip with a force, nearly making his own lip bleed.
“just get off of him!” his mom yelled.
his dad stared into his eyes, fuming with anger. he shoved him against the wall one last time before turning and stoping downstairs. armin stood there for a few seconds before going in his room, slamming the door behind him.
he threw his self down on his bed and stared at the ceiling for a few minutes with a slight frown. that’s when he got a text.
ony
yo u tryna hoop?
he tossed his phone down beside him and sniffed, getting up and looking through his drawers for basketball shorts and a t-shirt.
he changed his clothes and shoes, fixing his hair in the mirror before grabbing his second backpack and his phone, walking out of his room.
he went downstairs and to his kitchen, where his mom washed the dishes. “where you headed, sweetie?” she asked. “bouda hoop, Ma. ill be back tonight.” he grabbed a bottle of water and walked towards the front door. “don’t come too late.” his mom said before blowing him a kiss.
armin nodded and shut the door behind him, starting to walk out of the driveway and down the sidewalk. the walk was like 5 minutes. 5 minutes that he didn’t care about because nothing else in his life was that important.
but when he made it, it was slightly better.
“i know that ain’t white boy armin, man i heard you got suspended today.” one of his friends dapped him up. “yeah, ian worried bout that. i just wanna hoop right now.” he walked towards the basketball goal with ony, jean, and connie.
“wassup, Arm’. you ain’t been here in a minute.” connie chuckled, patting his back. “ight, let’s go.”
and there you were, sitting on the bench by yourself, simply because ony dragged you there. sasha and mikasa had extra work to do that day, so you were the only girl there. you didn’t have a problem with it tho, because you knew everyone there.
“want me to watch and he can’t even make the shot.” you whispered to yourself with a small chuckle, pulling out your phone to find something better to entertain yourself with.
after about an hour, yeah, an hour of being there for no reason, you saw someone coming over to you. you looked up to see armin. he sat at the bench, a few inches away from you, wiping his sweat and checking his phone.
“you good?” you frowned a little. “yeah.” he mumbled. you hummed, guessing he didn’t really wanna have a conversation with you at the moment.
“ain’t you ony girl?” he tilted his head. “i thought you was in our lil group. no, we not together.” you shook your head, watching the rest of the boys continue to play basketball.
“um, thank you for defending me or whatever at school. i hate when boys do the shit they do.” you said. “don’t even mention it.” he mumbled. you looked at him for a minute before something caught your eye. “you got a scratch.” you pointed to his finger.
“hm.” he looked at you.
you smacked your lips and pointed, grabbing his hand. “a scratch.” you said before looking closer. “oh, that’s glass. you ain’t feel that?” you asked, sitting his hand on your lap and trying to get the glass out by yourself.
he didn’t really mind it, so he let you, despite the small amounts of pain that shot through his finger every time you touched it.
“nah. not until you pointed it out.” he mumbled, leaning back.
you threw the small shard of glass under the bench and reached in your small purse, grabbing a bandaid.
“you actually keep bandaids in yo purse?” he asked. you shrugged with a small smile. “i know y’all boys be easy to scratch up.” you said, rubbing the bandaid on his finger before letting go of his hand.
armin looked at you for a few seconds before humming. “that’s prolly just me.”
you laughed and shook your head. “well. you ain’t sweating no more. you could go back out there.” you pointed, right before jean called him back on the court.
armin smacked his lips a little and nodded slowly, standing up and walking over to the rest of the boys.
you decided to watch them start playing again, glancing at a different person every time someone stole or passed the ball. it was a few minutes back in, some people took their shirts off. but only one caught your eye.
‘he that fit?’ you thought to yourself, seeing armin’s abs and arms. his arms had a little muscle, and of course he wasn’t buff buff. but it did look like he worked out a little. or more than that.
you continued to watch them play, your eyes never leaving him.
even when he glanced back at you, standing to the side of one of their dumb free throws.
his lip quirked a half smile a little before he got back to playing. and again, minutes passed, a lot of minutes, to hours. that’s when everyone finally decided to go home.
“come on, y/n.” ony yawned, grabbing his things. the streetlights were on now, and everyone was getting tired. you were about to stand up until you heard the basketball bouncing again.
“i’m… just gon stay here wit’ armin til he wanna leave. i’ll text you when i get home.” you mumbled.
“ight. be safe.” ony flicked your forehead before walking out of the gate with connie.
you hummed and looked back over to armin who just dribbled and shot the ball for a few more minutes. that was until he sighed, making one last shot and letting the ball fall, turning around.
you saw him pause, probably being jumpscared by how you were just sitting there, before holding his chest and letting out a deep sigh. “what the fuck?” he walked over to you. “why you still here?” he asked, grabbing his things.
“ian want you to be alone. duh.” you got up as he grabbed his things. you grabbed your purse and phone, waiting on armin to finish packing his stuff.
“you coulda just went home.”
“i know that.”
“don’t you got some typa curfew?” armin asked, starting to walk. you walked beside him. “no, and you do?” you looked up at him. “nah. i just think it’s weird how you would randomly wait for me. no problem wit it tho. ‘preciate it.” he said.
“cus ion want you to be here alone.” you said as you both left the gate and started to walk down the street.
“well how you gettin home? i know you live on the other side of the block.” he mumbled. “the good side.”
you smacked your lips with a smile. “ion live on the good side. shit still happens there. the neighborhood still boring as fuck. i just… don’t pay attention to it.” you shrugged.
you continued to walk and talk until you both made it to armin’s house.
armin suddenly stopped. “we gon have to go around.”
“why?”
“ion want you walkin home alone.”
“why would i be walking home alone if my house is right behind the fence of yours?” you started walking to the side, and backyard of his house.
“hol’ up, huh?”
“hold on, lift me.” you grabbed the top of the fence. “uh.. okay.” armin muttered, letting you step on his hands.
when you were halfway across, you sat there for a second.
“thanks for walking me home.” you smiled a little, hopping down and walking towards your own house, leaving armin confused.
“well damn.” he pursed his lips together, picking his things back up and walking towards his house.
after that… well, you don’t even remember. all you know is, that was the one time you two got close.
the one time, just for now.
part two here!

Why the fuck does Laena Velaryon, who is canonically younger than Rhaenyra Targaryen in the show, look like a fucking 20-year-old in episode 5 while Rhaenyra, her elder, still looks fucking 13? Why the actual fuck did they change the YOUNGER girl’s actress and made her look older, but it’s okay for Rhaenyra to continue looking like a preteen? I’ll tell you why.
They’re trying to distract us from the fact that creepy ass Daemon is courting a 14-year-old. A FOURTEEN YEAR OLD. Rhaenyra is 15 in episode 1 and Laena is 12, meaning they have a 3 year age gap. Then, Viserys tells Rhaenyra that she must marry since she’s 17 now, making Laena 14, maybe 15 at best. So they obviously can’t afford having Daemon thirst over a child again, therefore this is a shitty attempt to cover up the fact that Laena still is a very fucking young child.
HBO what is this? Why do your casting choices indicate that you’re trying to use some kind of ageist technique to manipulate your viewers? Why are the supposedly good guys, Rhaenyra and her children, portrayed by very young actors? Is this to show how innocent and pure they are? Why are the characters who are supposedly evil, Aegon and Aemond, or the character for whom we shouldn’t worry too much about since she’s just a tool for Daemon’s story line to develop, Laena, portrayed by obviously older actors even though they’re all supposed to be kids? Because the youth = good people and old = bad people analogy is fucking gross and lowkey paedophilic. Not to mention how weird it is to make all the black girls in the show look like fucking grown ups. What kind of racist bullshit is this?
I can’t understand HBO’s decisionmaking for the love of me. Like, on the one hand, it’s so obvious that they’re forcing Daemon and Rhaenyra down our throats, to the point that I actually laughed out loud when the show runner said “he doesn’t get why people like Daemon”. Like, my guy, you MADE the show. You made him look like an appealing, dangerous, sexy, strong, victorious and mysterious man, so what do you mean you don’t get the appeal? On the other hand though, most of the actions that they allow Daemon to perform are so horrifying that it makes it impossible for a sane person to stand beside him and defend him. Like, they try to sugarcoat that he’s an abusive piece of shit yeah, but they somehow don’t shy away from the fact that he’s terrible? Are they doing both of these things on purpose? Are they trying to challenge the viewer, to show us how abusers, despite being openly deranged, still have their way of dazzling their victims, the average person, and hypnotising them with their charm? Is Daemon doing to us (and by us I mean you Daemon stans, not me, stay safe though) what he’s doing to Rhaenyra and Laena? Are the show producers testing the average viewer’s intelligence and ability to recognise an abuser? Will there be a lesson to be learned?
I would like to hope so but I highly doubt it, because while one could support this theory by arguing that changing Laena’s actress is an attempt to mask Daemon’s degenerative nature a bit so that it isn’t completely obvious that he’s a bad man, someone else could counter this argument by saying that we’ve already seen Daemon groom a minor so this wouldn’t be something new. We’ve seen him do much more violent crimes actually, so why shy away from the fact he’s a groomer when we are already aware of this? Idk man, I really want to think that HBO is trying to make us see that Daemon is an evil person, but then indirectly glorifying him constantly makes me believe they just want people to root for him.
P.S. I may anger a lot of people by saying this, so I’ll make myself clear by stating that I love and greatly respect actors who specialise in portraying evil characters, because doing so and not losing yourself is a challenge (*cough* Leto *cough*) but if done correctly, it’s a true showcase of one’s talent and hard work. Lee, De Niro, Hopkins, Bardem and Rickman are just a few to name. However, Matt Smith has never rubbed me the right way. No hate to the guy, I don’t even know him, but I’ve seen him play the villain in three separate occasions (HOTD, Last Night in Soho, Morbius) and I just get these weird vibes, but I usually told myself it’s just my imagination running wild. However, I recently found out that Smith claimed that Daemon is a loyal man who loves deeply and that his “heir for a day” brothel feast was his way of honouring Aema, which really disturbed me for obvious reasons. I don’t know if he said this because he’s trying to defend his character and by extension himself, or if he just wants to promote the show, or if he doesn’t understand Daemon or if he funnily enough has fallen victim to his own character’s charm and I don’t care because it is a dangerous thing to say. Painting this character, the arrogant, obnoxious, self serving, people slaughtering, wife murdering, backstabbing, abusing, grooming, lying, manipulating, war criminal of a man, in such a positive light while being a man yourself, knowing that most of this character’s supporters are young impressionable women who just find him hot, makes me lowkey wanna cover my drink in his presence, I don’t know.

✬ W/C: 7.8k
You sat cross-legged on your bed, phone in hand as you scrolled through yet another sting of nasty comments about yourself. Each swipe reveled a fresh wave of vitriol: accusations, rumors and lies. You sighed, your thumb pausing over one particularly disgusting claim about you having an abortion—something you had seen countless times in the past week. Your stomach churned with frustration, but you were too exhausted to react. Your image obsessed mother had given the go to have the articles released claiming that it was going to be good publicity. ‘They won’t be able to twist the story if we release it ourselves, we have more control this way,’ she had said. Rolling your eyes, you tossed your phone onto the mattress beside you.
“Seems pretty twisted to me,” you mumble, stirring the attention of your best friend Aeri.
“I wish you’d get off your phone,” her voice broke thorough the silence. She was perched at your desk chair, carefully applying mascara. “It’s not doing you any good.”
“I know,” you muttered, throwing yourself back against the pillows. “But it’s hard to ignore when people are out here acting like they know my entire life story.”
Aeri glanced over, her brow furrowed with concern. “You don’t have to fight every battle, Y/n. People will say whatever they want to say. Let them talk. Just don’t let it get to you.”
You groaned dramatically, throwing an arm over your eyes. “Do you know they’re saying that Yun’s the father of my imaginary child now?”
Your best friend snorted, but her tone was sharp. “I heard. Jake is absolutely livid about it. If he weren’t so busy with his dad’s campaign, he’d be suing everyone with a Twitter account.”
That earned a small chuckle from you, but it quickly faded. You let your arm drop and stared at the ceiling, voice turning solemn. “How do you think Seungho would have reacted to all of this? The engagement, the charade…everything.”
Aeri’s hand paused mid-application. She turned to you, her gaze softening. “You know he wouldn’t have let it get this far. He would have stopped it before it even started.”
You chuckled lightly, a bittersweet smile tugging at your lips. Your brother, you always believed, was the braver one. You assumed it was tied to his role as the firstborn, a role he played exceptionally well—always coming to your aid when you needed him and defending you during arguments with your parents. In many ways, he was your rock, someone you trusted with your life. You swallowed hard, trying to clear the familiar lump in your throat that always formed whenever you thought or spoke about him. “Yeah, that sounds like him.”
Aeri’s tone softened further. “But I think he’d be proud of you, too. For the way you’re handling all this.”
Your smile faltered. You hoped Aeri was right. There had been so many moments when you felt like you were on the verge of losing it completely. But something kept you hanging on—a stubborn determination, or maybe just the unwavering support of your friends. You didn’t know which. What you did know was how much you hated depending on them so heavily, even though they had assured you time and time again that you weren’t a burden.
You glanced at the bedside clock. The time made your stomach flip. Downstairs, guests were beginning to arrive. The caterers and staff were moving in a flurry, making last-minute adjustments for tonight’s engagement dinner party. The thought of it all—the scrutiny of judgmental eyes, the web of lies you had to maintain, and the overwhelming pressure to perform flawlessly—made you feel like throwing up.
Aeri, ever perceptive, nudged you gently. “Come on, stinky. Time to start getting ready. Your mom’s going to freak if you’re even a minute late.”
Before you could protest, she tugged you up by the arm and practically shoved you into the ensuite bathroom.
“I’m going, I’m going,” you grumbled, shutting the door behind you.
After a quick shower, you emerged feeling marginally refreshed. Aeri was busy unpacking your dresses for the evening, humming to herself. You slipped into your silk robe and settled at your vanity to start on your makeup, trying to force yourself to be present in the moment. It reminded you of the nights you used to spend getting ready together in high school and college, prepping for parties or nights out. The nostalgia was comforting, even if the circumstances weren’t.
Aeri’s phone pinged with a notification. “Is that Yun?” you ask, glancing at her through the mirror. She hums in confirmation. “He says he’s on his way… His dad’s coming too. He hates that he’ll have to stay sober all night.” She scoffs, and you chuckle softly.
You and Jake’s family had always been close. In fact, the two of you first met in the hospital just after you were born—only two hours apart. Your parents were hardworking individuals who barely had time for their kids, so regular playdates became the norm to keep you both entertained. It also helped that you lived less than 20 minutes apart.
Growing up, you shared joint birthday parties, endless sleepovers, and countless milestones. Jake was, in many ways, like your twin brother. You had seen each other at your best and worst. You watched his father rise through the ranks, from prosecutor general to minister, to prime minister, and now, possibly, the presidency.
Despite their busy schedules, Jake’s parents had always been generous with their love for him. His mom, especially, extended that affection to you, filling in the gaps where your own parents fell short. She loved to tease you both, often jokingly calling you her future daughter-in-law.
The thought left a sinking sadness in your gut. You knew she must have been surprised—or even a little disappointed—when she heard the news of your engagement to someone else. You weren’t blind to how people loved to ship you and Jake. At first, it had been irritating to constantly correct them, to remind everyone that you were just friends. Over time, you stopped paying attention and simply ignored the comments. The two of you were just friends, and you loved how Jake understood that, keeping things natural and free of awkwardness.
“Tell him he can sneak up to my room for a few shots later, after everyone’s too drunk to notice,” you say with a grin. “I’ll leave a bottle under my pillow.”
Aeri respond by shooting him a quick text.
“What’s so funny?” you ask, catching the sound of her quiet snicker.
She grinned, “I was just wondering if you’ve spoken to Sunghoon since, you know, since you’re supposed to be all over each other tonight.”
You rolled your eyes, “I haven’t spoken to him since he explained the whole plan to me. Why?”
Aeri shrugged, her expression amused. “It’s just... bizarre, don’t you think? Here’s this guy you barely know, and now you’re tied to him. You’re supposed to love him—or at least act like you do.” She paused, then tilted her head. “What do you think about him?”
You sighed, turning your attention back to your reflection. “I think he’s professional. Responsible. I trust him to play his part.”
Aeri raised a brow. “And?”
“And nothing,” you replied firmly. “This is a contract. If feelings were involved, it would complicate everything. I wouldn’t have agreed to it in the first place.”
She smiled knowingly but said nothing. You noticed the look but decided to let it go, focusing instead on the finishing touches of your makeup.
A sudden knock at the door interrupted you. A maid entered, bowing politely. “Miss Y/n, Mr. Sunghoon Park is requesting your presence for a moment.”
Aeri muttered under her breath, “Speak of the devil.”
You arched a brow and frowned. “Tell him I’m not ready yet. I’ll see him when the party starts.”
The maid hesitated. “He said it’s urgent and promises not to take up much of your time.”
You exchanged a glance with Aeri, who shrugged. With a sigh, you stood and tightened the sash of your robe. “Fine. Lead the way.”
The maid guided you down the hall to a quiet room on the same floor, away from the commotion of the party preparations. Sunghoon stood near the window, hands clasped behind his back, looking every bit the composed businessman. But there was a tension in his posture, a tightness to his jaw that hadn’t been there before.
“You wanted to see me?” you asked, closing the door behind you.
He turned away from the window as he heard the soft click of the door, his eyes immediately landing on you. You froze under his gaze, your breath catching when his eyes raked over your figure. You cursed herself internally for wearing the flimsy silk robe that barely did anything to cover you. Hugging yourself in embarrassment, you became painfully aware of how thin the fabric was and how chilly the room suddenly felt—or maybe that shiver down your spine was from the way Sunghoon hadn’t blinked once, openly studying you.
Clearing your throat, you tried to break the tension. “You wanted to see me? I still have to get ready.”
Sunghoon blinked rapidly, seeming to snap out of his trance. He cleared his throat, his voice low. “Forgive me. I wasn’t trying to…”
“You don’t need to apologize,” you cut him off quickly, your cheeks burning.
He shifted awkwardly, gathering his composure. What the hell is wrong with me? he thought. The exhaustion of the past week must have been catching up to him because he couldn’t understand why he was thrown off balance by the sight of you. Yet he let his gaze linger too long on the curve of your waist, your slender legs, and bare neck, which looked almost too inviting—as though it was begging for something to adorn it. A necklace. His hand. Bite marks…
He gritted his teeth and forced himself to stop. He was being inappropriate. With a deep breath, he focused on why he’d asked to meet you.
“I won’t take much of your time,” he said, taking a hesitant step closer. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a small, dainty leather box, extending it toward you. “For you.”
You arched a brow, your curiosity piqued as you took the box. Flipping it open, your jaw dropped. Inside was an exquisite square-cut diamond engagement ring with rounded edges and a diamond-encrusted band. You stared at it for a moment, then looked up at Sunghoon, who stood there with his lips pressed into a thin line, clearly trying to avoid your gaze.
“How… why…” you stammered before correcting yourself. “I mean, I know why, but… why?” You gestured at the ring.
“It’ll help with the ruse,” he said simply.
You blinked, unsure how to respond. “I don’t… I don’t know what to say. I’m not even sure if I can accept this.”
The man stepped even closer, his expression softening as he reached for the box. “May I?”
When you nodded, he carefully removed the ring and gently reached for your left hand. His touch was firm but warm as he slid the ring onto your finger. It fit perfectly.
“It fits,” you murmured, more to yourself than to him.
He hummed in agreement. Standing so close, you couldn’t help but notice the subtle details of his face: the dark circles under his eyes, the faint crease in his brow. He looked exhausted, and for a fleeting moment, you felt a pang of concern. He probably hasn’t been sleeping much since this whole thing started, you thought. You clenched your free hand into a fist, stopping yourself from reaching up to touch his cheek.
“What would you have done if it didn’t fit?” you opted for lightening the mood instead.
“I’d have had it resized,” he replied casually. “Or I’d buy a new one.” his tone so nonchalant that it caught you off guard.
“It’s beautiful,” you say, stretching out your hand to get a better look.
He felt a twinge of satisfaction as he took in your impressed reaction. You seemed like you were doing okay, at least on the surface. His thoughts drifted back to Jay’s suggestion to check up on you after the wave of nasty comments about you online. If he were honest, he had considered it, but the terms of your agreement made him hesitate.
Contrary to what Jungwon believed, Sunghoon hadn’t gone home to rest after clocking out early that day. Instead, he had spent hours combing through online comments, reading old stories about you and your family, and even trying to find you on social media—only to discover that your accounts were private. You guarded your personal life closely now, though it hadn’t always been that way. From what he gathered, you had once been quite active on social media, a rising influencer of sorts, until three years ago when you suddenly disappeared.
He hadn’t found anything conclusive about why you left. There was no proof to support the rumors about your relationships with multiple men or alleged drug abuse. Jungwon had already confirmed that those were nothing more than baseless accusations. Still, there was one lingering mystery that even Jungwon hadn’t been able to find information about: the boy in the picture.
Sunghoon’s thoughts were interrupted when you blinked and pouted, noticing his quizzical gaze. The subtle action caught his attention, drawing his eyes to your lips before he quickly refocused.
“Are you okay?” he asked suddenly, his tone soft but curious.
You looked confused, prompting him to elaborate. “I mean, about tonight. Are you nervous?”
You smiled appreciatively. “This isn’t my first time being the center of attention in front of people,” she admitted. “But if I’m honest, I haven’t been around this many people in a while, so… yeah, I guess I’m a little nervous.”
Sunghoon was tempted to press further, a little curious, but he decided against it. Instead, he opted for reassurance. “Don’t worry too much,” he said with a small smile. “Just follow my lead.”
His calm demeanor had a way of putting you at ease, but it also left you conflicted. There was an air of confidence around him that made you want to trust him, yet Jake’s words of caution echoed in your mind. How much did you really know about him? Other than the fact that he was a workaholic?
Realizing how close you two had been standing, you stepped back, wrapping your arms around yourself again. “Why are you doing this?” you asked, her tone serious.
Sunghoon tilted his head, confusion flickering across his face. “What do you mean?”
“I mean, why are you going along with all of this? It’s obvious that I need you more than you need me. So why are you being so…open-minded about it?”
He watched as you began to pace, your words spilling out faster now. “You came up with this plan—this ingenious plan—which you didn’t have to, by the way. And it feels like I’m the one gaining more than I’m giving.”
Sunghoon’s lips curled into a small smirk as he asked, “Would you rather I demand you give me something?”
The suggestive tone caught you off guard, and your face flushed deep pink. “Th...that’s not what I meant,” you stammered, flustered.
Amused by your reaction, he took a deliberate step toward you. Your breath hitched as he leaned in slightly, his voice dropping to a low murmur. “And what would you have to offer me?”
You swallowed hard, placing your hands on his chest to push him away, but he caught your left hand instead. His eyes dropped to the ring now sitting snugly on her finger.
“I have no ulterior motive,” he said, his tone more serious now. “If that’s what you’re worried about.” He paused, his gaze flicking back to your face. “But who’s to say I won’t change my mind later? Three years is a long time. A lot can happen.”
He let your hand fall gently back to your side before stepping away. Sunghoon’s eyes lingered briefly on your exposed neck before he turned to leave. “I’ll see you downstairs,” he said over his shoulder, his voice even.
You stood there for a moment, dazed and confused. You let out a shaky breath, running a hand through your hair as you tried to process what the hell had just happened. What did he mean by that? she wondered. You thought back to the way he’d looked at you, like he… wanted you. No, that’s ridiculous. You shook your head, trying to push the thought away.
It’s just the circumstances, you told yourself. We’re alone in a closed room, we’re both young, and I’m dressed like this. That’s all it is. You groaned, frustrated with yourself. “I mean, what could I possibly even have to give him?” you muttered under your breath. The thought of him wanting something more from you—whatever it was—made your stomach churn. No way. Tensions are just high. That’s all.
Determined to shake off your ruffled state, you rushed back to your room. You leaned against the closed door, exhaling deeply. Aeri, now fully dressed, turned to you with a concerned look.
“What happened? You look like you’ve seen a ghost. And you need to hurry up; we have, like, five minutes.”
Without a word, you slipped out of your robe and into your gown, Aeri helping you with the zipper. As you adjusted the fabric, Aeri grabbed your hand, her eyes widening at the sight of the ring.
“Holy shit! What the hell, Sunghoon? That’s one huge rock! And for a marriage that’s not even real?”
“It is real,” you corrected, “in every way except personally. There will be a contract, and I’ll have to take his last name too.”
Aeri grinned knowingly. “Mrs. Y/n Park, huh? That’s hot. He’s hot for giving you this ring.”
You shot her a stern look, but Aeri didn’t bother hiding her growing smile. She stopped teasing but hummed softly.
As you slipped on your heels, there was a knock at the door. Your mother entered, her expression as stern as ever.
“Good, you’re ready,” she said curtly before spinning on her heel wordlessly beckoning you to follow her.
You exchanged a glance with Aeri whose expression had turned sour. You gathered your composure and stepped out into the hallway.
~~~~~
You descended the grand staircase with her mother and Aeri in tow, your gown flowing elegantly with each step.
At the base of the stairs, Sunghoon was engaged in conversation with Jungwon. However, the moment he looked up and saw you, his words faltered. His jaw went slack, his eyes following your every movement as if entranced. Jungwon noticed Sunghoon’s sudden silence and turned to see what had caught his cousin’s attention. A soft smile tugged at his lips as he saw you.
“You’re staring,” Jungwon whispered, clearing his throat to snap Sunghoon out of his trance.
But Sunghoon didn’t respond. He remained frozen, standing there like an idiot when he should’ve been at your side, playing the part of the doting fiancé. The room’s attention shifted toward the staircase, and the low hum of chatter softened as heads turned to admire you. Your father stood near the bottom, his face beaming with pride as if presenting his daughter to the world. A mixture of sadness and betrayal swelling within you, and your heart clenched. You quickly redirected your focus to Sunghoon, locking eyes with him. Your heart skipped a beat, the memory of your earlier interaction upstairs still fresh in your mind. You silently prayed your face wouldn’t betray your emotions. But perhaps a hint of bashfulness would even add to the act.
Jungwon nudged Sunghoon in the ribs, breaking the spell. “Move. She’s waiting for you,” he muttered.
Sunghoon blinked rapidly, composing himself before stepping forward to meet you at the base of the stairs. He offered his arm, and you took it with a bright smile, your fingers gently curling around him. Your gazes locked briefly, a calculated moment of affection for the audience. Together, you turned to face the crowd. Your grip on his arm tightened, both for support and to play the part of the loving fiancée.
Your father’s boisterous voice broke through the quiet. “Ladies and gentlemen, may I present my daughter and her fiancé, Mr. Park Sunghoon!” The announcement was met with applause and murmurs of admiration. You forced yourself to smile through it all, even as the weight of the lies pressed heavily on your chest.
You and Sunghoon moved through the crowd together, greeting guests and responding to endless comments. “What a stunning couple!” “Your gown is simply exquisite!” “Such a handsome man you’ve got!” “When’s the wedding?” “Your children will be gorgeous!” The compliments felt unending.
Once again, Sunghoon proved himself to be reliable, seamlessly taking the lead and answering most of the questions. You couldn’t help but admire him. His ability to craft convincing explanations and weave believable stories about the two of you on the spot made you feel an odd rush of heat. He sold the narrative of your families being close for years, leading to a natural blossoming of feelings that eventually grew into mutual love. Your heart skipped a beat every time he delivered that line, locking eyes with you like he truly meant it. If the circumstances had been different, you might have believed he actually harbored some affection for you.
Smiling brightly, you maneuvered through the crowd of at least 400 guests. The backyard gardens had been transformed into an elegant hosting area, with tables scattered across the lawn. Caterers and waitstaff weaved between guests, refilling flutes of champagne and offering hors d’oeuvres. A string quartet played softly in the background, their music blending with the hum of chatter and laughter.
Spotting your father in the crowd, you noticed him beckoning you and Sunghoon over to greet the Sim family. Mr. Sim, the prime minister, was undoubtedly the most important guest tonight. While the engagement was technically about you and Sunghoon, you knew many attendees were far more interested in the prime minister’s presence. The whole charade felt absurd, and the weight of the lie left a nauseous pit in your stomach.
You waited as Sunghoon shook hands with Mr. and Mrs. Sim. Jake’s mom surprised you by pulling you into a tight hug. She whispered how happy she was for you, adding that you were always welcome in their home and should never hesitate to reach out if you needed anything. You swallowed hard, fighting the lump rising in your throat and blinking away the moisture threatening to form in your eyes. She had always been like a foster mom to you, filling the emotional gaps left by your own mother.
Mr. Sim offered his congratulations and reminisced about your childhood, recalling a particular incident with chocolate cake. The group erupted into laughter, except for Sunghoon, who looked slightly out of place. Jake, standing beside his father, flushed red and groaned, “Dad, can you not?” Mr. Sim only laughed, clearly enjoying his son’s embarrassment. You couldn’t resist chiming in, mentioning that you still had the picture from that day.
Jake’s eyes widened, and he turned to you with mock horror. “Yah! I thought I told you to get rid of that!” The laughter continued, the group agreeing that such memories were worth keeping. Sunghoon stood beside you, smiling politely, occasionally adding a comment but clearly an outsider to the dynamic.
As the Sim family moved on to mingle with other guests, Jake gave you a subtle nod, silently asking if you were okay. You nodded back reassuringly, and he left with his parents. Sunghoon adjusted his tie and cleared his throat, breaking the brief silence. “I didn’t know you were so close with the prime minister’s family,” he remarked.
You explained that you and Jake had grown up together, that he was your best friend and so naturally, your families became close. Sunghoon nodded, but a flicker of doubt crossed his face. “Just a friend?” he asked carefully.
“Yes,” you assured him, “just a friend. You don’t have to worry about that.”
“Why would I worry?” he replied coolly. “Our relationship isn’t personal, so you’re free to be with whoever you want.”
The reminder of your arrangement stung, but you nodded in agreement. The two of you stood there awkwardly, smiling at guests who passed by, until Sunghoon broke the silence again. “What was that ‘chocolate cake incident’ about?”
You raised an eyebrow, and he elaborated. “If we’re selling this story about being in love, it makes sense for me to know some details about your life—like that, for example.”
Realizing he had a point, you decided to share. You explained how, at your joint fourth birthday party with Jake, you had eaten far too much chocolate cake and ended up throwing up all over yourself. Seeing you in distress, Jake started crying—and then promptly threw up on himself too. Your mothers had to put both of you in the same bathtub to clean up. “I still have the picture of us in the bath,” you admitted with a laugh. “Jake’s crying his eyes out while I’m grinning at the camera.”
Sunghoon chuckled, noticing the fondness in your tone. “Does that mean you have trauma around chocolate cake?” he teased.
You shook your head. “Not at all. I actually love chocolate—chocolate ice cream especially, which, by the way, is controversial to some people. Jake, on the other hand, can’t even stand the sight of chocolate. It’s like he breaks out in hives just looking at it.”
Sunghoon watched you speak animatedly, and smiled at how open you were being with him. When you caught yourself rambling, you apologized, but he grinned. “It’s fine. You’re allowed to do that.”
That odd rush of heat returned, and you quickly looked away. By the time you had made your way around the entire party, your face ached from smiling, your feet throbbed from walking, and your heart felt heavy from the relentless lies. Sunghoon noticed your tightening grip on his arm and glanced down at you. You were leaning into him slightly, your steps faltering. Without hesitation, he wrapped an arm around your waist and guided you to your designated table.
“You okay?” he asked quietly as he helped you into your seat.
You let out an embarrassed sigh, trying to mask your exhaustion. “I’ve had enough already,” you admitted, your voice low.
Sunghoon nodded, his expression understanding. “I’ll get you some water,” he said, stepping away towards the refreshments.
You slumped slightly in your chair, resting your elbows on the table and rubbing your temples. You barely knew half the people in attendance, yet you’d been performing for all of them. The absurdity of it all made you want to roll your eyes.
“Well, well, well,” a familiar voice drawled, cutting through your thoughts.
You looked up to see your cousin, Ningning, leaning over the table with a smug expression. “Look what the cat dragged in,” you muttered, unable to mask your annoyance.
Ningning scoffed. “I could say the same. How was sightseeing in Peru? Or was it Nepal? Honestly, I have a hard time remembering insignificant details.” Her tone was as slimy as ever, laced with mockery. She was referring, of course, to the excuse your mother had given to relatives to explain your sudden and prolonged absence.
Despite being cousins, you and Ningning have never shared a good relationship. There has always been underlying animosity between you, particularly from Ningning’s side. From a young age, you two were often pitted against each other, with you consistently coming out on top—a fact that only fueled her resentment.
Your strained dynamic was further complicated by the tension between your mothers. Your mother and Ningning’s mother, who were sisters-in-law, didn’t get along. More accurately, your mother didn’t trust Ningning’s mother which created an atmosphere of suspicion that clearly trickled down to the next generation.
Your eyes narrowed. “Prague, actually,” you replied sarcastically. “Shouldn’t you be bothering someone else?”
Feigning offense, Ningning sat down beside you. “Can’t I congratulate my dear cousin on her engagement?” The sarcasm was thick in her voice. She leaned in closer, her tone turning cold. “You’re not fooling anyone, Y/n. It’s obvious this is all fake.”
A chill ran down your spine, but you forced yourself to remain composed. “What are you talking about?” you asked evenly.
Ningning chuckled darkly, her eyes narrowing. “Seriously? You’re going to sit there and pretend like you don’t know?”
Your heart raced, but your expression didn’t falter. You knew the danger Ningning posed. If your cousin discovered the truth, it wouldn’t be long before others did too. But then, Ningning’s smirk faded, and she let out a short laugh, leaning back. “Relax, I’m just joking.”
Your muscles remained tense as Ningning added, “It’s just hard to believe someone like you could pull someone like Sunghoon. He’s so proper and poised, while you’re...” She trailed off, giving you a pointed look up and down.
You refused to take the bait. You sighed, looking around desperately for Sunghoon to return. Ningning’s mocking voice pulled you back. “Where is the man who stole your heart, anyway? You’ve been clinging to him all night. One would think you were joined at the hip. Or maybe...” She smirked. “He doesn’t feel the same way?”
Gritting your teeth, you decided to steer the conversation elsewhere. “How’s your mom?” you asked pointedly.
Ningning glanced toward her mother, who was seated nearby, her eyes fixed on the two girls. Raising her glass in a greeting, your aunt returned her attention to her own conversation. Ningning’s voice turned bitter. “Like you care,” she spat, and you rolled your eyes. “She’s never been one for parties, but tonight was mandatory. All board members were expected to attend. Would’ve looked bad if she skipped.”
Ningning sulked, her expression almost convincing enough to stir sympathy. You began to feel a twinge of pity for your cousin. You knew Ningning’s parents had impossibly high expectations for their daughter—in many ways mirroring your own parents—but with one key difference. Where your parents expressed their disdain through cold silence and neglect, Ningning’s parents chose a more physical approach to convey their disappointment. It was hard not to feel bad for her.
But the moment was short-lived. Ningning’s demeanor shifted sharply, venom dripping from her words as she turned to you. “If you think you can just waltz into the company acting like you own the place because you’re married to Sunghoon, think again,” she snapped.
You blinked, taken aback. “What are you talking about?” you asked cautiously.
Ningning’s sneer deepened. “Don’t play dumb. I’ve worked my ass off these past two years to rise through the ranks—through merit, not because Daddy gave me a free pass.”
Your eyes narrowed. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“God, are you thick in the head?” Ningning shot back, her tone biting. “If you think you’re going to outrank me just because your father’s the chairman and you’re now tied to Sunghoon as well, I’ll make your life miserable. Mark my words.”
Your frustration bubbled to the surface. “Do you have a stick up your ass or something? Ranks? That’s what you’re worried about? We’re not in high school anymore, Ningning. We’re all here for the same reason: to see the company improve.”
Ningning’s teeth clenched as her glare darkened. “You might think it’s stupid, but this means everything to me. I’ve sacrificed too much to let you waltz in and ruin it. I won’t hesitate to make sure nothing gets in my way.”
You threw your hands up in exasperation. “In the way of what?”
“Of me possibly becoming heir,” Ningning said coldly. Her gaze flickered toward her mother briefly before quickly looking away. “While you were off sightseeing and doing God knows what for three years, I was here. Working. Proving myself.”
You sat back, stunned into silence. You hadn’t anticipated your cousin becoming a potential obstacle to your plan. Why was she even talking about wanting to take over as heir? Your father was the chairman—he always had been—and leadership was meant to pass directly to his descendant: you. That’s how it had always been. Was Ningning expecting that to change? Had someone told her it might?
Ningning cleared her throat, regaining her composure, but the malice in her tone was unmistakable as she tsked, “Too bad about Seungho, huh? Too much potential, gone to waste.”
The sudden mention of your brother’s name sent a shockwave through you. Your jaw tightened, and your breath grew heavier as rage simmered beneath the surface. Ningning’s eyes gleamed with a cruel glint as she watched you struggle to keep your composure.
She was goading you—bringing up her desire to inherit the company and now mentioning your deceased brother. As if to suggest that if he were still alive, you wouldn’t have to worry about the company slipping into her hands. It was both insulting and utterly ridiculous. The suspicions you had about her nature just in general, grew a tenfold. You needed to keep your guard up around her from now.
Your voice was low and steady, each word a warning. “Don’t you dare talk about my brother again.”
Ningning tilted her head mockingly. “Struck a nerve, did I?”
You were torn between lunging across the table to tear your cousin’s hair extensions out or maintaining your composure. The weight of the guests’ admiring gazes, oblivious to the venomous exchange currently happening, kept you grounded. You gripped the edge of the table, your nails digging into the wood.
The tension was mercifully broken by Aeri’s sharp voice cutting through the atmosphere. “Move along, witch,” she said, her tone dripping with disdain. “Take your ugly face somewhere else.”
Aeri and Jake had appeared just in time. Ningning turned to them, her expression shifting into a mocking smile. “Oh, look. The mediocre bunch.”
Aeri stepped closer, glaring daggers at Ningning. “Say one more thing, and I’ll bite you,” she growled.
Ningning raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. “How predictable. Classless, as always.” She turned back to you. “Should we expect you at the office on Monday? Let me know and I can ask them to have a red carpet rolled out for you,” her tone dripped with contempt.
Aeri slammed her glass on the table, sneering at Ningning. “I’ll let you know what you can expect, my Jimmy Choo’s so far up your ass, you’re gonna start seeing stars.”
Ningning flinched at Aeri’s crudeness. She scoffed, stepping away from all of you. Turning back to you, she blew you a kiss. “See you later, cuz.”
She cast a fleeting glance at Jake, who avoided her gaze entirely, before rolling her eyes and sauntering off into the crowd with a haughty air.
Jake immediately turned to you, concern etched across his face. “Are you okay?” he asked gently.
You nodded, though her clenched fists and tense shoulders betrayed her unease. You exhaled slowly, trying to shake off the encounter.
Aeri took a seat beside you crossing her arms. “What the hell did she want?"
From a few yards away, Sunghoon had witnessed some of the scene. He stood with a glass of water in hand, his jaw tightening as he watched Ningning torment you. On his way back to you, he’d been stopped by Jay and Heeseung, who were animatedly discussing something with wide grins.
“Damn,” Jay had said with a low whistle. “This estate is insane. Look at the size of this yard.” He gestured dramatically around them.
Heeseung nodded, swallowing a mouthful of food from the plate he was holding. “The Ahn family used to host yearly galas here. They were the talk of the town. First one in years, though.”
Jay and Sunghoon exchanged a look of mild disgust as Seung continued stuffing his face.
“What?” Seung asked, mouth still full. “It’s either this or I start downing champagne. Your choice.”
Jay rolled his eyes and turned to Sunghoon. “So, what do you think of Y/n? She’s…” He smirked. “Attractive, right?”
Sunghoon frowned. “You’re being ridiculous.” He had braced himself for the inevitable teasing from his friends about you, but he wasn’t confident he’d be able to keep a straight face if they brought you up. In his defense, it wasn’t his fault he was drawn to you—your pretty smile and those doe eyes that always seemed to soften when you looked up at him, how you looked when you spoke about something amusing and your seemingly stubborn determination. He’d caught himself mesmerized by you more than once tonight, each time leaving him more conflicted than before.
He could tell you’d started to trust him. You didn’t need to say it outright; it was in the way you looked at him, the way you let him take the lead without hesitation. It was in your agreement to this whole act in the first place. And as much as his emotions threatened to cloud his judgment, he knew better than to let them take over. You had expectations of him, and he’d be damned if he ever let you down.
“Oh, come on,” Jay pressed. “We’ve been watching you watch her all night. Either you’re a fantastic actor, or there’s something there.”
Sunghoon’s thoughts drifted back to his earlier interaction with you upstairs. How he’d been drawn to you in a way that felt… unsettling. The way your skin felt warm as he slipped the ring on your finger and how inviting your scent was, leaving him momentarily dazed as he breathed it in. Your flustered reaction to his teasing had been adorable, and he’d found himself smirking at the memory. His friends noticed immediately.
“See that?” Jay pointed, grinning. “He’s smiling. Told you.”
Heeseung leaned casually against the table. “You know,” he began, looking directly at Sunghoon, “Jungwon mentioned something interesting to me earlier. Apparently, you were totally dumbstruck when you first saw Y/n today.”
Sunghoon shot his older friend an agitated glare. “Stop fishing for gossip from my assistant,” he snapped.
At that moment, Jungwon himself approached, beaming with excitement. “Hey, guys—”
Sunghoon cut him off, pointing a finger. “HR. Monday. Be there.”
Jungwon’s smile froze, then quickly dropped. “What? Why?” he stammered, glancing over at Heeseung, who was grinning sheepishly.
“Don’t do that!” Jungwon defended himself. “This guy’s relentless, okay? He’s always badgering me to spill stuff.” He pointed at Heeseung. “I swear, I’ve never said anything too sensitive!”
Sunghoon narrowed his eyes. “What exactly does that mean, Jungwon?”
Jungwon hesitated, then began fumbling with his words. “Uh, you know... nothing, like, serious! Just little things! Things that don’t matter!”
“Oh, so my meeting with my lawyer didn’t matter?” Sunghoon countered, his voice sharp with disbelief.
“You were going to tell us anyway.” Jay defended.
Seung snorted, clearly enjoying the exchange. “It’s not like he told us your deepest, darkest secrets, man.”
Sunghoon turned back to Jungwon, exasperated. “That doesn’t make it okay, okay? Why am I even arguing with you about this?”
Jungwon raised his hands defensively. “I don’t know! I’m just saying, that even when I spill, I’ve got boundaries, okay?”
“Boundaries?” Sunghoon repeated, incredulous. “Clearly, they’re not strict enough.”
Heeseung, unable to contain his laughter, chimed in, “This is the most entertaining shit I’ve seen all week.” He reaches out and grabs a champagne glass from a passing waiter’s tray.
Sunghoon shot him another glare before turning back to Jungwon. As frustrating as it was for Jungwon to share details about him with Heeseung and Jay, Sunghoon couldn’t bring himself to fully resent the guy. Deep down, he understood that Jungwon didn’t mean any harm. The three men standing before him were his closest confidants, and it was almost natural for them to discuss his business—even when he wasn’t involved. Maybe it was because Sunghoon trusted them, knowing they would always come clean if they learned something important. Secrets didn’t last long in their circle; sooner or later, they’d spill, especially if it was something concerning.
Firing Jungwon wasn’t an option either. Despite his occasional lapses in discretion, no one was as meticulous or hardworking. It also didn’t hurt that they were family. In Sunghoon’s demanding line of work, having someone trustworthy to handle important tasks, keep him grounded during moments of weakness, and genuinely look out for him was invaluable. And no one did that better than Jungwon.
Before Jungwon could respond to Sunghoon, Jay tapped him on the shoulder and gestured toward your table. Sunghoon followed Jay’s gaze and immediately noticed something off. Your posture was stiff, your jaw clenched, and your fingers gripped the table tightly as you spoke to the girl seated next to you. Your irritation and discomfort were palpable. Sunghoon’s brows furrowed in concern, and he leaned forward slightly to observe the interaction.
“Man, is her whole family this ridiculously attractive?” Jay asked, his eyes flicking to the girl beside you.
Sunghoon hummed noncommittally, his attention still locked on you and the tension radiating from you. He studied your body language and the way the other girl’s lips curled in what could only be described as satisfaction. Something was definitely wrong.
“Did you see the Prime Minister earlier?” Jungwon chimed in, breaking the momentary silence. “Crazy that her family has ties with him. Just goes to show how powerful they really are.”
Jay nodded, nudging Sunghoon. “Must be intimidating, huh? Being tied to a family like that?”
Sunghoon’s focus wavered, his gaze briefly flickering back to his friends. He’d been so engrossed in watching you that he’d barely registered the conversation. He remembered greeting the Prime Minister earlier, feeling distinctly out of place when the two of you exchanged pleasantries and laughed at a joke he didn’t understand. It had been a stark reminder of how little he knew about you and your family—a gap in knowledge he was beginning to wish he could fill. Not for personal reasons, of course. It was for the sake of the charade.
He gave a vague hum in response, making no effort to hide that he hadn’t been paying attention. The men exchanged amused looks before sighing in unison.
“You should get back to her already,” Heeseung said, swapping his champagne glass for another from a passing waiter.
Sunghoon didn’t respond. His gaze returned to you, whose knuckles had turned white from gripping the table so tightly. Your companion seemed to relish your reaction. He saw two figures approach the table, and moments later, the girl seated beside you stood and left, her expression shifting to one of slight annoyance.
The prime minister’s son placed a hand on your shoulder, his posture protective. Sunghoon’s feet moved before his mind could process it, carrying him toward the group. By the time he reached you, he heard your friends murmuring to, urging you to calm down and ignore the other girl.
Your brow was furrowed in frustration, but your expression softened slightly when you noticed Sunghoon. “Sunghoon?” you said, voice tinged with surprise.
Aeri and Jake turned to face him. Aeri’s face lit up with a bright smile, and she extended her hand. “Hi, I’m Aeri, Y/n’s best friend.”
Sunghoon bowed slightly as he took her hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you,” he said smoothly.
He turned to Jake, who hesitated before shaking his hand. “And you’re the Prime Minister’s son? We saw each other earlier, but I didn’t get the chance to say hello. Forgive me.”
“It’s fine,” Jake replied curtly, his attention shifting back to you.
You and Aeri exchanged a glance, immediately sensing the tension between the two men. You wondered if Sunghoon’s standoffishness had anything to do with you mentioning Jake earlier and calling him your best friend. Was he… jealous? You shook the thought away, deciding it was ridiculous.
Aeri broke the awkward silence with an exaggerated scoff. “Alright, this is weird. I’m getting a drink. Jake, come with me.”
Jake started to signal a waiter for champagne, but Aeri stopped him. “No, something stronger. Let’s find the good stuff,” she said with a mischievous grin and a wink.
Your heart sank momentarily. You could already imagine them raiding your parents’ liquor collection. Your parents wouldn’t notice, but you still hoped they wouldn’t make too much of a mess.
“Find me if you need anything, Y/n.” Jake said over his shoulder and Sunghoon narrowed his eyes.
Aeri waved at Sunghoon. “Lovely to meet you. Take care of her, alright?”
Once they were gone you turned to your fiancé who for some reason was still standing. You raised an eyebrow, your voice cutting through the lingering silence. “Are you planning to sit at all?” your tone was light but edged with exhaustion.
He ignored the remark, his gaze softening slightly. “Are you alright?” he asked, his voice low but carrying a genuine note of concern.
You hesitated before letting out a quiet sigh. “My feet are killing me,” you admitted, glancing down at the unforgiving heels you’d been wearing all evening. “I was just thinking about slipping into something more comfortable.”
Sunghoon nodded, noting how your guarded tone and distant eyes betrayed more than just physical discomfort. He didn’t press you; you clearly weren’t ready to discuss what had unfolded earlier. Instead, he extended his hand toward you in a silent offer.
You blinked, momentarily caught off guard, but took his hand. His grip was firm yet gentle as he helped you stand. For a fleeting moment, you were acutely aware of the warmth of his touch. But you pushed the thought aside, reasoning that this was just another example of Sunghoon’s impeccable manners—nothing more.
You began weaving through the clusters of guests, moving past pockets of laughter and animated conversation. The party’s energy had shifted as the champagne flowed freely, with voices rising and laughter growing louder. You clung a little tighter to Sunghoon’s arm, partly for balance but mostly for a sense of steadiness amidst the chaos.
Inside the house, you reached the grand staircase. You paused, staring up at the daunting ascent. Your shoulders sagged slightly, and you muttered under your breath, weighing the pain in your feet against the effort it would take to climb.
Sunghoon watched you closely, his brow furrowing. For a moment, he considered offering to carry you or walking you all the way to your room. But he stopped himself, unsure if such a gesture would be overstepping. Instead, he stayed silent, ready to assist if needed.
Just as you had gathered herself to take the first step, a soft, melodic voice called out your name. “Y/n?”
You turned, your posture straightening in surprise when you saw the source of the voice. Your voice was a mix of shock and warmth.
“Sana?”
I mean, me personally? I like how Omega is written. She’s never had any real agency over her decisions until now, and even then, it’s not as much as one would expect. She’s been burned by strangers as well as the people closest to her time and time again. If that were me, I’d never talk to anyone, never trust anyone, and never try to do anything. So she’s doing great.
I think a lot of people don’t give her credit for how she handles a lot of things. It’s kinda like when people get mad at a teenage character being “whiny” or mad at them for not wanting powers or to go on a quest or whatever. Like…that’s a normal reaction?? Looking at it from an outside perspective, of course you’re gonna think you could do better or different. You’re seeing things with all of your years of experience as well as being an objective observer.
It’s a long way to say that I appreciate the way you write Omega and to not change it. Keep it up :)
Everyone showing their support for 'mega and defending her makes me so happy 😭 she means so much to me. She's my sweet baby angel and very much an extension of myself in a lot of ways.
She really is doing so good though, despite everything. She really has been traumatized from the start from her father's emotional abuse and neglect and then his obvious anger and blaming her for something that wasn't under her control and sending her away so quickly in a traumatizing way. And then she has to deal with a society that sees her as an object and not a person and she's still dealing with that despite the fact she has a pack that has made her see herself as a human for the first time in years.
A lot of people miss the context and can't understand not putting themselves completely in the story. Yeah, it's a reader-insert but it's an actual fic with a plot that needs backstory and details and personality to not make it dry and boring. You can't have complete control over what happens in every story. If you want that, create one yourself 🤷♀️
Thank you, though. I'm loving seeing all this support. It really touches me that so many people feel so protective of her 😭
I’m not sure when I will be returning or if I will be;
Long story short, the person who framed me in August came forward.
This whole ordeal caused me to receive death threats, allegations of (proven false now) abuse and harassment, and caused people to believe that I was someone who sought out the intention of causing drama/harm to others that I didn’t know.
I have had to defend myself against allegations for months, even after my mutuals and friends came out with evidence that proved my innocence. I will admit it was wrong of me to comment on my friend’s story publicly and I have since apologized to my friend for being such an idiot but, I don’t think it should’ve led to all of this occurring.
Now, realizing that I’ve also been stalked by someone for months now and being framed by someone has made me step back.
If you were in my position would you actually feel comfortable with being present where you are clearly going to be dragged into drama even when you’re actively avoiding it? And please don’t tell me “oh you posted those anons so you’re at fault for engaging with it” uhm— yeah, here’s the thing:
I got 5-10 anons from this guy without even posting anything. I was forcefully involved and dragged into drama with someone I have never met against my will.
I don’t know how to feel about any of this, but I did have a mental breakdown about this. Why? Because I was sent so much horrible messages and people told me such bad stuff about myself because they believed drama over the evidence that proved my innocence all over labels on my blog or something people said through the grapevine. It’s like, I don’t even think it’s worth it anymore trying to make sense of this. But, it’s absolutely hurt me in the long run.
This isn’t the post I wanted to make but it’s something that I want to share because I want to highlight the damage of drama blogs and what drama has done to the community:
I was a completely innocent party dragged into a drama with someone I didn’t even know. Drama blogs spread my name, my posts around without context, and it was all because some guy did a little trolling. This is why fact checking is important.
And while the drama blogs and “Cam” have all apologized, the damage is and has been done.
I left in 2021 because of false allegations written against an ex-partner of mine, and I returned thinking everything was better. But, it’s turns out for the most part I was wrong. People are out for venom even if you’re just trying to vibe and relax, much like I was.
For now, so long and goodnight.
If you would like to exchange Discords, please send me a DM or ASK because that’s likely where I will be heading for the time being.
