Maybe this is just me being autistic or something, but I do not understand how movie/TV adaptations of games are so hard to make. The original media is right there??? Just use it as a basis for your script?????? Add and subtract where necessary for the medium while still keeping it the same story at heart????????? “But it’d be boring if it was a whole tv show” ok then why is it not boring as a game???????????? I feel like Alucard is overrated character and I don't know why I think like that in these days.

I'm not saying that I hate Alucard. No, isn't that, but when I discovered other Castlevania characters that became my favorites (ex: Leon, Juste) I went form Alucard fan to being netural about him.

Alucard is still my top 15 characters, but not not in my top 5 favorite.

I think one could make an argument that Super Sonic is the closest thing to sacred in the Sonicverse, but he's sacred for a non-Christian religion, bringing us back to the old question, "do non-Christian symbols hurt vampires?". To which, my headcanon is that vampires are weak to the symbols they themselves see as divine: so, someone raised in a Christian culture would be repelled by crucifixes and bibles, someone raised in a Muslim culture would be repelled by the star-and-moon symbol and the Quran, etc. Basically, if they see God in a symbol, it hurts them.

Since Dracula would absolutely not see God in a shiny hedgehog, Super Sonic's holy power would not damage him. However, I propose that having this

hurled at you at high speeds would hurt you no matter what lol.

Therefore yes, Super Sonic could in theory give Drac the good ol' Perfect Chaos treatment and smack his head in until he gives up, but it has nothing to do with his holiness and everything to do with the fact that he's a supersonic ball of flame and lightning :P

Also, you know what, Super Sonic vs. one of Dracula's many true forms wouldn't look too different from the many gods Sonic has defeated!

Y'all I am so scared. This could either be great or an absolute dumpster fire of a movie. Why live-action? No seriously why live-action??? For Zelda, the games that are so wonderfully cartooney even at their most serious? Why is Avi Arad producing a Zelda movie? His mixed bag of movies aside I DON'T THINK HES DONE FANTASY??? Like correct me if I'm wrong but I believe its mostly sci-fi, superheroes and stuff.

I know I'll enjoy it regardless, trashy movies are my jam. But if we want more it can't flop like 1993 mario(love that movie) and thats the bit thats got me nervous.

I'm gonna anxiously hold out hope solely becuase the tweet opened up with "This is Miyamoto." Just DON'T do BOTW/TOTK. I know you want to pick the cash cow Nintendo, but video game movies are WAY more likely to flop if you pick the one where everyone would rather just play the game. The bigger the fanbase the worse the odds get, so I am begging you not to come out of the gates with an adaptation of the ones where everyone and their mother has played it.

The script for DXC varies a lot from RoB and while you can't really beat the anime charm of the latter, there's things I like from this iteration's dialogues too. This one in particular is a favorite of mine, I think it's silly in a cute sorta way.

(I especially love the delivery in Richter's correction of his name.)

My guy Edouard is a mulatto from Haiti (oh hey look at that we actually know where he's from and he's not 'ambiguously brown'). Are his eyes blue? Yes, tragically. But it's at least a shade of blue that works ok with with his skin tone. Also peep the nose and lips.

Could I tell what kind of Native Olrox was when I saw him b4 he said anything? No. But I could tell he was Native. But we *do* get to find out where he's from. Does he have pale colored eyes, yes, but again the shades picked work well with his skin tone. Also just lovely nose, lips, cheek bones. Doesn't feel like an ambiguous brown mfer.

Go girl give us nothing. Hate that shade of blue, its jarring. Granted given how the mangaka has this man's skin changing colors in the same lighting in the art books like a fucking chameleon in a rave and even making him that weird 'I don't know how to color nonpale people' grey in a few places in the artbooks also just that blue wasn't gonna work anyway.

Also the gross pixie nose. Zero lippage. What fantasy counterpart is this guy from who the fuck knows? Apparently, it wasn't important to make clear or hint at in his design or for him to bring anything that could pin him up directly. Mr. Ambigiously fucking Brown.

Also colorist tropes! Our two plot important brown people gotta have pale colored eyes can't they can't be too ethnic if we have to see them a lot more.
