Addendum: I forgot to specify, in the Isaac/Dahlia intersecion, "complicated relationship with their sister who is the only person who sees good in them and wants to save them from their sins"

(and perceived *by others fuck it graphics are hard)

#isaac laforeze #dahlia hawthorne #lenore castlevania #i can't stop thinking about how easily dahlia could have been written as a pitiable figure with her tragic backstory #lenore... has very little of it and the most 'tragic' part of her is that her besties don't like her #which could have been used to make her sympathetic while still evil! but then she's just 63!isaac what with the inferiority complex and all #so yeah. isaac is well written but his depths are hidden in obscure material #dahlia is compelling but framed in a light that demonizes her too much #and lenore has a great concept but the writing fumbled the bag and switched framing too quickly #anyway isaac and dahlia my beloved wet cat failures you both should be allowed to go on a killing spree together <3
