“Can you be my mom for just,” She paused. “today?”

I stared.

She really just asked that.

“Um…” Was all I could voice. I blinked and darted my gaze between the walls. She was innocent, and seemingly, she had no other older woman around her she could drag all the way to her school.

“Why me?” My voice sounded too broken that I intended.

“Because you’re cool. And I think you’d be a cool mom.” A pure smile tugged at her lips.

I was used to being perceived as a cool person, but not a cool mom. And her calling me that filled my chest with a warm sensation I never expected to feel. I never saw myself capable of it.

“You…are going to introduce me as your mom?” I pronounced each word so slowly as though they were bombs ready to explode.

“Oh, no. That would be a ridiculous lie. You can just act like one. Like you care about me.”

I raised my eyebrows a millimeter. That warm sensation clenched my heart. What was happening to me?

“So…I just have to be there? And talk to your teacher?”

“So far. And you have to watch me making paper flowers. You don’t have to be too bossy about it though”

I couldn’t help but smile at her last remark. “Okay.”

She jumped and darted forward. She wrapped her slender arms around my waist, resting her head against my stomach. “You’re the best!”

What’s Wendy’s favorite book and movie genre? Least favorite?

She is a fiend for the romance genre! For books, she really likes the found family trope for obvious reasons too though. She tends to gravitate more towards the happier, more positive genres!

Her least favorite genre ironically is psychological horror. Subconsciously, she feels like she’s already lived through psychological horror and finds psychological horror in movies highly uncomfortable because sometimes it get too real or in her head .. :c

I have people in a shared discord server that are always like "well objectively x ship is indicated in canon" and when I come in with "that's not really objective though" they get SO MAD at me and whenever *I* am like "this was objectively indicated in canon and I have the screenshots to prove it" they're like "um actually all interpretations are valid and you're shitting on other people's fun by saying that yours is the only option" and I do kinda wish I could punch them.
