“The crowd goes wild at her fingertips/half moonshine, full eclipse” — I don’t mean to overthink (lol) before the songs come out but taken like this (after seeing it set to eras gifs) I love the interpretation I’ve seen that it’s like, she gets on stage and the roar of the crowd is an intoxicating tonic that momentarily overshadows whatever she’s going through. Or, that the magic she creates intoxicates the crowd, all eyes on her in total rapture.

Some Vertin thoughts I have, but do you ever think she and Matilda had this talk after seeing each other again?

I always imagine Vertin just coming up to her and hugging her, and Matilda being so flustered tried to push her away until she feels Vertin shaking like a leaf. Vertin's trying so hard to talk to her, saying she was so glad, so so glad Matilda backed out during the breakaway plan, cause she can't handle the thought of losing Matilda that night too

I think there's so much unexplored potential for these two. Like yeah, Sonetto regretted letting Vertin and the others go that night, but do you think it haunts Matilda too? That maybe she could've tried to talk them out of it, maybe then she and Vertin would still have their friends around

Since JJK both manga and anime use lots of parallelism and analogy scattered around, I've been thinking why at the very start of Red Scale episode they took particular close-up to this sign

Then Yuuji running passed the sign, where his shadow intercepted with it. A similar pose of a man running.

Taking it out of context, the sign was one man, one body that is split into two parts. Depicting Yuuji's body who is housing two souls inside.

Then at the very end of the episode, when Yuuji was unconscious at death's door, we are once again given a close-up of the sign...

Now showing the sign was split in half...the body that was sectioned into two before now left with only 1 side... with blood splattered on it. Foreshadowing whose part is now left more on the upfront and the shitshow that's about to go down...

Thinking about Mesmer Jr.... How she must have felt.... The way foundation execs thought yeah were going to take this kind 12 year old and show her The Horrors, so that she will rat out her friends thinking she's saving them, but actually we need to know that just to let them die. Do you think she felt guilty of not trying to stop the other children from escaping herself. How she must have felt, keeping vigil by Vertin's bed during that whole crisis. Could she see Vertin relive their childhood trauma. And even though she says administering "therapy" to Vertin was an order from Constantine, and knows Constantine didn't order this out of goodness of her heart, I think she did have Vertin's wellbeing in mind. Why would she stay with her otherwise and show concern. And considering the suitcase team did end up getting partial rights by the end of ch4... I hope Vertin does seek out Mesmer if only to show that she's alright. Poor girl was so scared when Lilya burst in through the wall

something that makes me absolutely fucking insane is how dennis is always happy, open, and affectionate when he's high; huffing gasoline with dee and mac, turpentine while watching charlie dance, and... when dee poisons him at the end of the iasip book.

it's like whenever he's not in full control of his body, his default state is to be content and unguarded, and even though this book was written several years before the ireland eps, this is true to how dennis truly feels about frank, insert reference to dennis' Big Feelings here but it's clear he does genuinely love his friends and family, and i think it goes beyond him just being a happy drunk or it being an effect of whatever he's taken. it's like... dennis' essence in its purest state, because even with the few glimpses you might get when he's sober, he's almost never THAT candid, he always has emotional walls up unless he's got a substance to break them down for a short while

okay so i went on a walkie (my body needed to go on one, remember to take care of yourselves and listen to what your body needs btw!!!!) and i'm outside again and. i just. i am so enthralled by the beauty that is all around me. the clouds are slightly tinted yellow as the sun goes down. the leaves are glowing in the evening sun. the contrast of the light and darkness depending on where you look on the tree is so beautiful. i love being alive and experiencing the small joys of nature. i love the warm weather. i'm wearing shorts out here!!!! life is so beautiful.
