Well, my pre-movie post was SO WRONG. I think most stobotnik fans were, thinking that Stone would be the one dying. I- truly wasn’t expecting it.

I’ll get back to that in a second, let me get all of my silly things out of the way/the things i was hype about/had to crush my partner and friend’s hands about while witnessing.

The antics between Gerald and Ivo were expected but oh my GOD JIM CARREY. you are a national treasure, have fun in retirement. we will miss you greatly, but this being your final movie (probably) is a great thing to culminate your absolutely stunning career.

Anyway, their dance sequence was fucking insane, and as much as I was cringing, I was grinning through it too. The fight on the Eclipse cannon was also questionable BUT HOLY FUCK NOW I GET THE PRAYING MANTIS/FLY REFERENCE. (Thank god it wasn’t directly about stone and robotnik but i’m already cooking how i can connect them). Spanking? Also in my Sonic movie. But yeah.

Gerald and Ivo could never be more alike in intellect, but different in morals. Evident through Gerald’s fixation on avenging his daughter with no remorse or thought for whoever will get in the way, throwing away Ivo and the whole of the world as a result). He’s willing to kill himself, but as Shadow says and believes, that isn’t what Maria would have wanted.

I used to not like the Wachowskis. I was already a little unsettled when the first movie released by the fact that characters unrelated to previous Sonic media were being utilized as major plot elements, but during the second and third movies, I began to absolutely love them.

This third movie cemented that love. The father-son relationship between Tom and Sonic specifically. My heart was aching in the first scene at their little campsite, Happy BEarthday, and their heart-to-heart in Sonic’s old cave, talking about Choice (an analysis incoming) and that you always have a choice, and that your lungs (heart) will help you find the right one.

I think this movie might’ve done. One of the best jobs of displaying found family. The sibling relationship between Tails, Knuckles, and Sonic was the most heartrendingly beautiful and achingly real thing I’ve seen in a while. And it really hits you, the fact that they’re kids.

And the amount of silly little jokes, Tails having his gadgetry and Knuckles with his blunt personality, Sonic tying them all together with his wit and charm, it all became slightly surreal to see. To see something so happy, so delicately real.

Oh my god, on the trio, Knuckles saving both Sonic and Tails from falling to Earth. I was gasping that whole time, truly being sent into the moment. Movies and media rarely do that to me in the emotional sense.

AND AS FOR SHADOW AND MARIA

Holy fuck at least I was right about that part in my pre-movie wishes. I thought it was interesting how they adapted it, and it definitely made for it to be slightly more believable and less complicated.

But oh my gosh them. Skating around the lab, messing around together, introducing Shadow to that great 70s music and dancing, watching movies together and just being kids!! And don’t even get me started on the rooftop scene. Shadow was so vulnerable and self-conscious, and Maria comforted him in a way that touched me. Understands him in a way that no one else ever has, as everyone else only saw him as the experiment and the subject, while she saw him as his own person, with thoughts and emotions and curiosities.

It paralleled Sonic and Tom in the cinematography too, and the sentiment was all the same. That Shadow can choose who he wants to be. (I Am All I Am and Choice. Trust, it’s coming soon)

Maria and Shadow made me unbearably happy. It was all I could’ve ever asked for and more.

Shadow and Sonic were an absolutely crazy duo this show. Dude, in their fight versus each other? Both going Super and absolutely going at it, and Shadow having the absolute gall to accuse Sonic of not caring about his friends, that he was clearly here alone because he abandoned them, and mention Tom, which caused Sonic to go completely over the edge, and actually punch him straight into space and lose his Super.

Sonic and Shadow reconciling over their shared feeling of grief, Sonic sharing his pain, emphasizing the love that will be able to help them heal, Shadow reciprocating, and then Shadow remembering Maria after looking up at the stars, realizing, from Sonic’s words, that this truly wasn’t what Maria wanted, just that whole moon scene between them is living in my head rent free and I need to see it over and over again.

HOLYYY SHIT THEY PLAYED LIVE AND LEARN WHEN SUPER SONIC AND SUPER SHADOW TEAMED UP AND BEAT THE EVER LIVING FUCK OUT OF THOSE ROBOTS. Me and my friends were going so fucking insane in that theater.

Shadow remembering Maria (possibly for the last time) as he sacrifices himself to push the Eclipse cannon away from the place that Maria loved. Remembering all of the good moments, the love between them, that is all he wanted if he was going to leave the world for good. (Well, I mean, he’s still alive, but the amnesia route is still optional)

Sonic actually going slightly insane this movie was also very interesting to watch. His absolute- like, his vision went RED when Shadow mentioned Tom. That was what set him OFFFF. His abuse of the Master Emerald and even threatening his own best friends/siblings over this— god the emphasis of choice in this film I want to sob.

Also, yall already KNOW I WAS BALLING ABOUT THE AKIRA SLIDE, SNAPCUBE REFERENCES, AND EVERY TIME SHADOW BREATHED OR MOVED. Literally could not contain myself from absolutely sob-cry-screaming at Shadow and (Keanu did a great job btw) his entire story, his joy with Maria and his pain all after. (His Super form looked fuck beautiful, a new colorful hue every time I saw it)

All in all, Robotniks were hilarious, Maria and Shadow were beautifully tragic and just generally so so SO adorable and loving. I’m so glad that Tails and Knuckles got more serious appreciation and screen time this movie as well, because as much as Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles were sidelined in this movie (to put forth Robotniks and Shadow, understandably so), it still felt more fulfilling and real than in the second movie. Super forms continue to be beautiful onscreen, I would like to collapse and die from hearing ONE OK ROCK and Live and Learn.

AHEM. Now, clearly, I will be making a separate post solely about Stobotnik. Along with the multiple Stone-centric fics burning a hole in my brain and the choice and grief analyses awaiting my attention. Bear with me as I have SO MANY THOUGHTS.

You and Wednesday were only a couple years apart. Making you 14. Both you and her had started Nevermore at the same time, being paired with Enid for a roommate was definitely an experience the both of you weren't prepared for. She was different than what you were used to, although when you thought about it you and Enid weren't overly different from each other and connected on quite a few things. Building a fast friendship, unlike Wednesday who has tried keeping more so to herself. Only engaging in the occasional conversation with you.

It was after classes, you were struggling to carry all your binders as papers kept slipping. You rushed to snatch them but it was no use and the rest of your binders quickly hit the floor as your grip loosened. Sighing deeply, you stared at the papers in annoyance.

Wednesday, who had been walking slightly ahead because you both left from the same class, stopped and looked back at you. Raising an eyebrow as she watched you struggle.

Wordlessly she took a step towards you and then another until she was in front, crouched down and helping you pick up your papers. She handed all of them to you with a soft look. Well, a look as soft as Wednesday Addams could give. It was like looking at a soft thorn.

Enid had a bounce in her step as she joined the two of you, coming from her own class. Her eyes widened in surprise when she saw the look on Wednesday's face.

"Oh my Gosh! No way?? Wednesday-!" Before she could say anything else about it, Wednesday had already sent her a glare.

"Never speak of this." Wednesday muttered, you smiled and suppressed a laugh. It certainly wasn't the first time Wednesday had been softer for you. It was just the first time anyone besides you had seen it. You could only assume she was embarrassed, if she even had the ability to feel embarrassed.

Enid quickly nodded her head and the three of you returned to your shared dorm.

The following day, you had been in art class with Wednesday & Enid. Bianca and Xavier sat a distance away from you and were mostly doing their own thing.

You had been working with a modeling knife, trying to get a your piece cut in just the right ways you had envisioned. Wednesday's gaze shifted to the knife in your hand and then to your eyes.

"Be careful." She tells you. Wednesday had always been overprotective of you, it was just in her nature. Especially when you were her younger sibling.

Enid looks up from her own colourful artwork and gives Wednesday a confused look.

"What?" Wednesday stared at Enid, who quickly shook her head.

"Nope, nothing." Enid insists.

"You are a horrible liar." Wednesday responds, though her attention is quickly brought back to you when you gasp. You had made the stupid decision to keep your thumb a little too close to the knife as you worked to shape your clay. Her eyes narrowed at you and she took your had. Examining the cut, which had blood dripping from it." I told you to be careful." She looks at you again.

You give her an awkward smile, having set down your knife as you scratch the back of your neck awkwardly. Looking off to the side. "Yeah, I know... hand slipped."

"You are an idiot." Wednesday continued, getting up and heading to the first aid kit in the class. "I cannot believe we are related." She muttered the last part to herself.

Enid, Bianca and Xavier were all watching her with the same looks of confusion before looking at you. Was Wednesday seriously taking care of you? They couldn't believe it.

Wednesday comes back to your and Enid's table," Hand." She demands, you sigh and extend your hand out to her.

"I'm fine, Wednesday." You assure her as she wipes your cut with a alcohol cloth, making you hiss in response to the sting that shot through your finger.

"Fine?" Wednesday raised an eyebrow at you when she saw your reaction.

"Oh come on, that's a natural reaction!" You huffed, cheeks pink with embarrassment.

"Baby." Wednesday teased you and you rolled your eyes as she wrapped the bandaid around your cut.

Enid leaned back in her chair so she could be closer to Bianca and Xavier," You guys are seeing this too, right?" She whispered.

They both nodded slowly.

"Good, good, cool... just making sure I'm not going insane." Enid continued.

Once Wednesday was satisfied, she let go of your hand and looked at the other three with an annoyed stare.

"Will you stop looking at me as though I have grown three heads?" Wednesday said.

"Sorry, sorry- it's just-" Enid stuttered out an explanation.

Wednesday simply ignored it and returned to her work, making Enid sigh and look at you. You couldn't quite read what her expression was saying.

Though you were quite amused by everyone's reactions to how Wednesday treated you.

Shui Muyang:

What do you mean "don't say they wouldn't still be an assassin", of course they wouldn't be an assassin they would own and work in a brewery, because Zui Xian is still the alcohol peak and of course they like making wine and alcohol in general so of course they would work in a brewery because that's still a modern job they would work in a brewery and disappear for a week and then just randomly appear after travelling halfway across the world and going on this random action film-esque adventure just to get this random spice for their new experiment wine project because Zui Xian is an alcohol peak with breweries so in the modern era Shui Muyang would own and work in a brewery where alcohol is brewed, you fucking NUMPTY (/silly/silly)

Wei Qingwei (what do you mean 'you can add him' he literally is my OC who told you otherwise):

Wei Qingwei is probably one of those guys who does literally all sorts of hands on jobs; one day you see him working in a garage, fixing up people's cars and the next day he's carving a table out of wood for your new house, and then the day after that he's forging a decorative sword you're gifting someone for their birthday, and then the day after that he's at your best friend's baby shower, excitedly offering a cute blanket that he knitted for them. He's literally everywhere, like the neighbourhood mascot, you want anything done and someone will always give you his number - he's probably got different flyers depending on what you want done, each carefully designed to bring out the best parts of the craft he's offering on the flyer. Everyone has at least one of each. He's appearing at the local library as well, reading to any children that ask him and then showing up at the orphanages in the area with so many cool handmade toys for the children.

Jiang Qingbai:

I like to think that Jiang Qingbai would be tucked away in some small room, surrounded by books and being hired to research things for people (is that a job? Make it one for her <3), delving deep into whatever topic she has been set that day. She rarely leaves her little room, even when the work day is over, and definitely has to be dragged out by her younger sibling if they want her to do anything. She probably has a background in some form of religion (cult??? Eh, maybe), and the lack of control in what she learned probably spurred on her desire to know things, which is why she's so suited for her job. She doesn't even have to talk to people (not that she can)!!! Give her her little room with books piled everywhere and at least two monitors with her PC so she can do two things at once.

Feng Licheng:

When Feng Licheng isn't assisting his mama in the brewery (mainly because they don't trust him not to blow something up some days), he's likely offering different mini ice skating classes to people. That's right, my baby boy is an ice skater (and a skateboarder) because if you don't think that my always-moving little guy wouldn't want to be doing something that relies entirely on movement, do you even know my guy? He's helping both kids and adults stumble their way around the ice rink every other week, and then teaching any newbies he finds in the skate park whenever he's not doing that. Probably teaches dance as well, because my baby boy has RANGE!

Gao Hongxia:

Gao Hongxia is like Wei Qingwei's apprentice, following him to his jobs and helping him out, learning as she goes - she's better at other things than others, however, like better at doing the forging and the plumbing rather than the knitting and woodwork. She also handles the finances because Wei Qingwei is far too generous with what he charges and she took one look at this and just thought “not on my watch”. Her mother or something hired him and she just watched him be completely underpaid for his practically professional work, before chasing him out and practically begging to be taught everything he knows so that she can stop this kind man from getting severely underpaid because he's too kind and generous to have any higher prices.

Li Anran:

Li Anran is both acting as Jiang Qingbai's assistant and working at a bar when he's not doing that. He's in charge of dealing with possible clients and the “social” side of the business - basically, any client of Jiang Qingbai's has something to say about the “scary assistant” that stares ominously and sometimes even glares (*shudders*) if something that he doesn't like is said, or if the hermit researcher is insulted for not showing up. Hiring Jiang Qingbai is not for those whose egos are too big for their bodies, because the bodyguard assistant will crush them instantly with little more than a stare. Similar things are said about a bartender who never seems to want to be there, but makes literally the best cocktails ever and scares away anyone being creepy, so most people greet him with a smile (even if he doesn't smile back).

I love the idea of some of the contestants becoming the family they never had for eachother.

You've mentioned Soap and Mic being like sisters once and honestly I can see that, some of their interactions feel very much like siblings like the picture and even her meeting Taco for the first time, speaking of Taco, her reaction to Tacomic would probably be somewhere between sibling teasing the other about their crush and 'out of all the women on this island she's the one you have a crush on?'

I see a few headcanons of her becoming an older sister figure to Tissues too but I see that dynamic becoming more caring older sister than her dynamic with Mic.

Tea Kettle is an obvious one because that's basically what she was made for in the first place she's willing to be a mother to anyone honestly.

I sort of see Lifering taking up a guardian role to some people not particularly parental but in the way if someone needs help (mainly medical) he'll be there for them.

I see quite a bit of SilverCandle art/fics have them as somewhat parental figures for YinYang and honestly I really like that, I'm not sure if they'd have this dynamic in canon but it's sweet all the same.

And obviously Bot being Fan and Test Tube's kid, the only way I can see this not happening is if Bot doesn't see them as parents because they didn't like being made as a replacement for not only Bow but Egg too but I like to think that they become a little family anyway Bot still has things to learn, about themself and other things and I like to think Fan and Test Tube would help them to be their own person after forcing them to be someone they're not at first.

I like to think Ballpoint also became a bit of a father figure to Mephone4 but nobody ever actually admits it I feel like this would stem from getting the approval from Ballpoint that he wanted from Cobs though.

That's pretty much all I have (excluding Cobs and 4 but that's not really family in the way the rest are also at this point Cobs is probably a decomposing possibly eaten corpse) but if you have any than it'd be nice to hear about them if you'd want to talk about them (:

I really love to see Soap and Mic as sisters!!! Not only because of their voice actors, though that is a part of it, but also for how they interact and help each other. Mic throws Soaps cleaning supplies into the river, a little sisterly tough love, yeah? And how Mic tells Soap about her experience with Taco, and Soap keeps that secret for her and supports her as she's healing!!! Truly the sisters of time.

Her and Tissues forming a bond is a sweet idea too!! I'm not sure I'd read them as family, but regardless they should interact, especially with Soap having improved a lot with her germaphobia and how the reveal changes the way they all look at Tissues, yeah?

Tea Kettle will absolutely be adopting every single one of them. No more to say for her she adopts everyone she is group Mom end of story. I think it would be funny if Nickel accidentally calls her Mom once, both for the voice actor joke (as you can see I love those) but also because he'd die inside and it would be funny.

Lifering would be a good guardian for everyone!! His medical knowledge is so, so very vital to everyone's survival. He would be oh so very appreciated by everyone.

I think Candle would definitely be a caring presence for Yin-Yang, but not Silver. Silver and Yin-Yang don't seem to get along like that, as is especially shown in Spring on the Breakfast, yeah? I don't see Yin-Yang feeling super positive on Silver for quite a bit after that. They do interact in the finale, though, so that's something at least.

It's implied that Bot sees Testy and Fan as their parents in the show anyways, there's that lively clip of Fanmily confirmation, and even if Bot has some complicated feeling towards them, that's not super uncommon in parent-child relationships, yeah? They both seem to have a lot of love for Bot, and each other, so I am fully on the fanmily train. I also enjoy thinking of Painty and Lightbulb as their auncle and aunt!!! :) Painty is so supportive of them, yeah? The three of them have that genderqueer solidarity (canonically. fanonically testy and fan can be whatever gender your heart desires.)

I see people liking to present Ballpoint as a father figure to Mephone, though I can't say I see it as much as some people based on their canon interactions. This goes more into what Ballpoint represents about Cobs, but I'm sure there's a level of parental approval that Mephone wants from Ballpoint, but this seems to me to be due to how he made Ballpoint rather than an actual bond the two share.

As for familial bonds I see! I can't say I have a ton, since I'm not super close with my family, so I tend to prefer friendships!!! But I'll offer up these two :)

Blueberry and Trophy would be the most annoying brothers of all time. Making themselves out as the "alpha males" of the island, continuously calling each other "bro" like an only child trying to write siblings. Talking shit about the others. They're insufferable <3

I really like to see Cabby as a big sister to Goo and Bot!! :) Cabby carrying Goo through the red line game and letting him sit on her head multiple times during the show, and even their less pleasant interactions during I Am Chocolate reads like an older sister/little brother dynamic, coming from someone with an older sister. How she talks to Test Tube for Bot in Spring on the Breakfast and Bot stands up for her to Testy later on in Blue Buried? They give off sibling vibes to me and I love them.

Girl, when Bruce caught Jon red handed, I about THREW MY PHONE--

...Anyway. VV interesting convo between Damian and Batsis. I was really confused when Batsis said he covered for her for sneaking out with Jon and that he wouldn't tell everyone else but that he doesn't want her doing it again. So maybe Damian (of course) feels differently but I thought that, at least with the rest of the brothers + the girls, want her to branch out and find her own footing. Tim isn't the codling type, Barabra explicitly said she wanted Batsis to explore outside of their family, I'm assuming Cass and Steph respect another girl's independence and freedom, Jason is...well, Jason, and I'm pretty sure Dick told Batsis that she doesn't own Bruce an explanation about who she chooses to hang out with or have sexual relations with. But Damian's comment now has me thinking that at least some of them (Dick) are only paying lip service to that and aren't really comfortable with Batsis becoming her own woman who makes adult decisions without their input and supervision.

Like, I understand that they wouldn't want her out at night without at least telling someone, but she was with JON. I can't think of anyone else she would be safer with. Maybe I'm just being uncharitable, but I get the impression that they've only self-deluded themselves into thinking they're okay with Batsis breaking away, that when it truly comes down to it, if they haven't been told where Batsis is going, what she is doing, or haven't heavily vetted the person she's with, they WILL shut that shit down. I don't think all of them are like this but definitely Bruce and the main 4. What makes this even more egregious is that there is a double standard. Yes, Batsis may not be a professionally trained fighter, but she's not made of glass, not stupid, and is not a little girl anymore. She has to fight and bargain for things that are easily afforded to not only her siblings but also to other people her age. I'd love to see what going off to college is going to look like.....

Also, I'd love for a peek into Bruce's mind. I think coming to terms with that fact that Batsis is woman now who need to be treated as such and with respect will be a large part of his arc. That, and the fact that she's been messing around with her brothers. He has got to have at least SOME inkling that the dynamics around the house have shifted...

Anyway, loved the chapter, great job!

It’s obviously wrong how overboard they go when it comes to her and they all know it. It’s so so easy to say YEAH I don’t have a problem with you doing these things but when they say that they’re still quietly expecting her to do those things on their terms.

Damian on the other hand is aware that he is already a suuuuuper intense personality and is trying to dial back just a smidge. Especially since they’re the same age and both are kind of craving experiences teenagers usually have.

Damian is also not concerned with Jon being predatory. That’s his bff. I dropped a hint in the kitchen chapter when he cracked the counter: sometimes he literally cannot control his powers. In the chapter after that, Damian had admitted to watching them in the kitchen. As for the whole “what are his intentions?” That was just rooted in jealousy low key haha

HII kai headcanons if you have any??? i’d love to hear what u think about him

I headcanon Kai to be Japanese, Malay/Indo (Maya is Japanese/Indo, but Ray is Malay). He looks more Indo-Malay though, Nya's the one that takes more of her mom's genes.

He has BLUE eyes, a contrast to his sister, who has red. No further reason whatsoever to this, just a funny design detail. Another I'd like to bring up is that I actually believe that he'd have short, tied up hair! I don't see him with his canon version, but I'd get to drawing that one day.

This kind of, diverges from canon, but I believe that Nya was kind of the more outgoing sibling compared to Kai. He was always focused as a child, and he wanted to be trustable and determined, he also wishes to keep going and be strong for his little sister - who was unfortunately clumsy, but she always seemed to wander around places. Once they grew up, they became the vice versa of who they were, as Kai gradually felt like he was able to become more laidback with his friends, and family, it was Nya's turn to push herself to face the world.

Um... A bit of a sudden transition, but his favorite food is specifically seafood fried rice, but the funny part is that he actually can't handle spicy food that well (completely ironic due to his SEAsian side)... Jay made fun of him one time like, "Why would you go around saying you're the master of fire, but you can't even take hot stuff?"

Kai's habit is that he likes to snap his fingers and spark fire, he does this when he's bored or subconciously. There's something satisfying with being able to do it.

His body temperature is warmer than the average, this becomes even more prevalent when he's stressed, or angry. Though when he's excited, he also gets the same reaction. But in general, it's always been odd, and it becomes an unfortunate cause when he's sick, because the Ninja find it difficult whether to differentiate if it's just him, or he actually has a fever. But on winter days, everyone just snuggles around him because he's just that warm.

Kai's hands are scorched and burnt, but they are old scars due to his clumsiness when he was still trying to master his element. His hands are also littered with scars due to his experiences blacksmithing.

I actually, REALLY love the fact that Kai blacksmiths, it's something that's barely brought up. I reckon if he were to visit weapon shops or equipments, he'd start judging them off the bat.

Actually, there should he more emphasis on the fact that Kai blacksmiths, he has so much knowledge upon tools and weapons... He must definitely take part in the creation of most of the Ninja's weapons, and maybe he also helps Pixal as she builds certain weaponry too, despite the fact that he knows, she probably knows many things already. Likewise, Pixal is always happy to hear Kai's pieces of knowledge, whether Kai knows it or not, his experiences are naturally not "accessible information" she can just find anywhere, listening to him talk about his trials and errors- they are priceless.

He's a weapon collector too! After a mission is finished, sometimes he'd bring himself a souvenir or two (obviously, they're weapons). He likes to study blades, or the things his foes have used, and he tries to understand their works to be able to improve his own. Keep in mind, this is all from my own experience, but I’ll try to include some things in here that I have heard from other people too.

To me, the most important tip is to experiment a little bit. There are always gonna be lots of different people telling you lots of different things, don’t be afraid to try a few of them. I can tell you what ended up working for me, but don’t limit yourself to just that, everyone finds their gender euphoria in different ways.

For me, it was when I started wearing dark clothes and neutral colors that really helped. Baggy clothes have helped a lot too with my body dysphoria, especially with the added help of layering. I have a couple long sleeve tees I like throwing under short sleeved ones, and button ups and jackets that can go on top, anything to help hide my form and give a darker, more masculine appearance.

I’ve talked about it a little bit before on here, but tall shoes are a good way to add a little height, and I like ones that do so subtly, like heelys (you can take out the wheel and they just look like normal sneakers, but add about two inches). I like wearing eye liner and dark eye makeup especially on the under eye, as men tend to have more defined eyebags. There’s a lot of other masc makeup tutorials out there, but as someone who is not good at makeup, that was the option I went with. More subtle things that no one really noticed, but helped me, were switching to men’s deodorant and soaps.

As for hair, it definitely depends on the texture. I kept my hair short for a long time though in fear that longer hair would make me less of a trans man. My hair isn’t too long, but it’s around shoulder length, which I was very worried about dysphoria wise, and it was hard for a moment, until I figured out how to style it. Obviously, this comes down to texture. I have very fine straighter hair, and so for me, adding a little volume, layering, and curl helped it become less of a bob, and more masculine. I don’t know the science behind that, but it helped. Layering really helped so it wasn’t just flat longer hair, it looked messier, and it also helped me to get just some medium hold pomade and slick it back slightly.

As for allies, that is honestly one of the hardest parts. I got pretty lucky in having family that I knew was open, like my siblings and cousins, and I didn’t really have many friends as a whole at the time, so I was mostly starting on a blank slate, but I did have one pretty religious friend that I was terrified about. It starts with trying to observe small things about them. Have they ever said anything about the trans community? What would their other beliefs do they that that may sway their opinion in one way or another? Have they ever talked about pronouns or gender expression? Then try bringing up transgender topics in popular news and media and see their response. With a lot of people, there may not be a definitive way to say, and a really scary jump has to be made. Just remember, that if anyone does respond poorly, it reflects on them, not you. It’s not worth keeping a secret from someone in a friendship and not living happily as yourself. The friendships you are meant to keep, will stay through this change, or they’ll come around. And yeah, losing people hurts like hell, but knowing who you can then trust to be yourself makes those good relationships all the better.

These are both pictures of me, a few years apart, but both pre medical transition. My hair is about the same length, only the second is a lot “messier” with more layers and using volumizing mouse and gel. Some people will also use hair irons in a certain way, it just takes a little more time.

Man…I wish I could see what everyone else sees in the ending of ROTK/LOTR, but I just see it as immensely depressing and heartbreaking. Frodo has gone through so much pain and trauma that he can’t even enjoy the life he once had and needs to leave behind his best friends-his ride or die buddies, the people who’ve followed him and supported him from the very start-and that is the saddest f*cking thing, and I hate it. Because it didn’t have to be that way. It’s all Sauron and Gollum and Ilsildur and Bilbo’s fault. Why can’t Frodo just heal with the support of his friends? Find a therapist?? Why can’t they all come with him?? It just isn’t fair, and I hate it. Sorry if I sound small-minded but that’s what I believe.

I totally get what you mean. There’s a part of me that wishes Frodo stayed in the Shire as well; there’s a reason the Magnolia AU exists ;-P No matter how you look at it, it’s a bittersweet ending—which means it’s at least partially bitter by definition—and even those of us who love it will freely admit that it hurts to see him go. The only question is whether or not it’s a good hurt.

I think there’s multiple reasons why people might enjoy the ending the way it is. I think Christians see a poignant reflection of our longing for eternity. I think those of us who lost a loved one suddenly, and weren’t able to say goodbye, might take comfort in a story where the goodbyes are prolonged and rich and sincere. I think those of us who know something about the consuming grip of mental illness might find hope in a story where the character not only survives with his pain, but is promised complete healing from it.

In a less lofty sense, there are a lot of goodbyes in life. People move away; friends drift apart; siblings eventually grow up and leave the house to pursue their own lives. Frodo’s ending is sort of a distillation of the mingled pain and joy of all those bittersweet goodbyes; the ‘I’m so proud of you’s, the ‘I wish you the best’s, the ‘even if I’m not with you I will always, always love you’s.

A dear friend of mine might be moving to another country soon, and is considering joining the military sometime in the future. I will likely do neither of those things; I can’t, as you might say, follow. I, like Sam, am stuck in the Shire, living my quiet and humble life while someone I love is off on another adventure. That doesn’t mean I don’t love my friend anymore. That doesn’t mean our relationship is over. Love endures past goodbyes. Love endures distance and disparate paths in life. Love says, ‘I want the best for you, even if it’s far away from me.’ Love says, ‘live well; I can hardly wait to see you again.’ Love aches in separation but rejoices in reunion, and the goodbyes only make the hello agains all the sweeter.

To me, there’s a pain in Frodo’s departure, but there’s also joy; the joy of knowing he will be healed, he will find peace, and one day, Sam will follow him across the Sea (and sit by a wall in the light and laugh with him over a cup of tea). There’s sorrow, but there’s also joy. There’s pain, but there’s also hope. And in my experience, that rings true to what love is. Love hurts, but it hurts well.

So yeah, I love the end of LotR. It hurts so good. And if I’m NOT in the mood for bittersweet endings, there’s always fanfiction! 🤣🤣

So basically it would be a very interesting scenario where either Classic or Legends gangs end up in either timelines. But for simplicity sake let’s just say through time travel shenanigans that caused Classic gang to end up in the Legends timeline for a short time and encounter X’s Family by accident.

Dr Light would have so many questions about this Era especially seeing X. He recognizes him regardless of his grizzled appearance, and role that he has. He’s still his youngest child in his eyes. My goodness look how he grew! Even if it took thousands of years to get there!

He’s also a father for goodness sake!! Taking care of 5 rambunctious children, who are all different in personality, appearance, age, experiences etc…they are so diverse yet so close with each other! He loves all of his grandchildren to bits! Each and one of them are so unique in their own right! (Despite the MASSIVE time gap in creation dates between the Guardians and Volnutt). But they still have their Father’s traits in their own unique ways. He’ll just just spoil his grandchildren and bond with them.

But notice that Volnutt is also this Era’s Megaman…but thankfully the boy has his family and friends to guide him like Rock has…it’s such an interesting coincidence that his youngest Grandson was named after his other son.

He absolutely thinks his nieces and nephews are the coolest!! Absolutely want to get to know them better, especially Volnutt. He spends time with them and definitely is that fun uncle that tries to be a good influence to them.

Basically she also would love her baby bro’s Fam a lot. They would be very close and have all sorts of fun!! Especially fefnir’s gardening hobby is a constant delight for her. She appreciates X for teaching his kids how to do house work! She and Leviathan often get cute outfits together. Absolutely Taught the rugrats the power of THE BROOM.

Blues like everyone else is proud of X and is so happy to see him and his children. Unlike his younger siblings Blues would be a cool uncle who would get the kids to loving trouble. He’s a great influence for them yeah nothing goes even wrong- Honestly Phantom and Harpuia reminds him a lot of Tangle and Beat. He definitely calls Harpuia “Harpy bird” (For his fucking dismay).

But it’s also really fucking hilarious since Rock, Roll and Blues despite that they are older then X and his fam they are child models so the contrasts with with their brother and his kids. So trips to watch Movies and antics would make the ultimate wacky shenanigans galore!! Especially the reactions they would be priceless (Oh Blues is absolutely taking advantage of this).

X and his Kids would be swarmed by their robot master relatives. Especially volnutt HE HAS SO MANY UNCLES AND AUNTS LIKE DANG-

But yeah the classic gang absolutely loves X and his family very dearly, the same thing goes with them too. After the kids get over the shock of how ridiculously large loving robot family.

Hi hello!! I made some couple new drawings of legacy again alongside some questions and hcs. Most of the HC aren't that great, but it's new so-

• One time when he used to have a girlfriend or a crush, he asked his siblings for help or advice as to what he should do. Big mistake since both of his brothers ended up ruining his relationship by accident and caused him to fumble the bag. (Neither of his siblings had any relationship experience but Larry did try to help Legacy the best he can. Lawrie, on the other hand, assume whatever idea he had could work even though it would be a disaster cause legacy doesn't quite understand.) Worst case, his siblings abandoned the ship and left him to deal w it on his own because R-T got upset and forced Larry and Lawrie to work despite them explaining the situation to him. (He didn't care. Even his family screwed him over. Maybe out of character for these guys ngl.)

• He usually gets into an argument with Lawrie, but at one point during the heated argument, Lawrie ends up reminding him that he's a bum and completely useless while Legacy shifts the blame at them since it wasn't his fault that they kept him around when he wanted to be recalled. Legacy ended up in his room venting out his frustration after this (slight angst.)

• Not a headcanon or a question, this is just a joke: but for whatever reason, because I see clip of caseoh playing dress to impress, I imagine legacy trying the game out at least one time and actually felt confident when he got a theme that he familiar with, actually ate with the outfit he chose, and got upset when he was at 4th or 6th place cause of how rigged it is (he lost to a mermaid and some player that weren't following the theme.)

• He probably watch a YouTuber named Degenerocity

I also got a question to ask. Considering the fact that he's a protector at heart, does legacy prefer to be bodyguard? (Cause I had this one thought in my head that he can serve as a temporary bodyguard for the idols during live concert. Crispin might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but he’s definitely picked up on how Drayton is around ice types/the cold even if drayton denies it, EVERYONE knows what happened in opelucid city, Crispin would be more surprised if Drayton wasn’t traumatized from that experience so Crispin often distracts Drayton whenever Crispin visits the polar biome! He also lets his Pokemon out “to get a breath of fresh crisp air” but really it’s to warm Drayton up since they just radiate heat and spook off any ice types, he himself also isn’t shy about just hugging Drayton when he can (fire type trainers also run hot fr) so he’s got toasty hugs!!! i kind of went in with the same view: came for the sibling dynamics between Hollow & Ghost (mainly) + Hollow & PK family dynamics. Then I happened upon a single line in another fic that ripped my heart out and sent me into a recontextualisation night-long spiral. (misread the tags on it, oop) The line was "And it felt terribly alone without her." Hollow @ Radi.

So yeah, that was the first ship I got into. It resonated with me very hard due to some history, so I was able to really... care about it and the dynamics at play. (my aro ass needs to get very invested to ship characters lol)

BUT enough intro, let me actually ramble:

RadiHollow is the first of my two ships. It's based on several factors, first of them being that those two spent an indefinite (I personally headcanon 300-400 years) amount of time completely isolated from the world. Alone with only each other for company. We know that Radi is horrible at loneliness, her history/the entire thing with Higher Beings requiring worship to live alludes to it a lot: the whole reason the infection broke out was that she'd been forgotten by the moths. Left behind. Left alone. The next factors are my own view of their characters. Radi as I write her is an extremely self-centered person, incapable of ever admitting any fault, incapable of ever being wrong, incapable of ever not being in control. She's manipulative and very emotionally abusive in an... insidious, "you just can't appreciate my love", way. So not "hehe torture fun". Hollow is someone who never viewed themself as a real person. Their feelings, wants, thoughts are not important. They have not experienced kindness for who they were. They also tend to blame themself for anything bad that happens. Couple those two in complete isolation (which, isolation is one of the first steps an abuser will take to gain control over their victim), with Radi showing Hollow genuine kindness despite their failure, despite them being her enemy, despite everything. She has an "I will fix you" mentality; she sees them as a poor, downtrodden person who only needs to be loved enough to fall on her side. To see that she was right all along. They hate each other, of course. They want to watch each other burn. They want to burn together. Radi wants to enter the new dawn together with them. They want to go down in flames together with her. They hate her, but the kindness makes it hard to only hate her. She hates them, but their empathy and responsiveness, their presence and pushback make it hard to only hate them.

Grollow is the second one, and it has direct relation to all the stuff I've said up there. I headcanon Grimm and Radi as siblings (""? as much as beings of pure magic can be siblings. their relationship is definitely familial), which means that Grimm is very intimately familiar with all of Radi's antics: the gaslighting, the manipulation, the blame-everyone-around, the disregard for his feelings, the blindness to what her love does to him. He's someone that understands Hollow, post-Radi. He's someone that knows what they've gone through. He's someone who's had similar experiences and had time to heal from them. He's someone who hates watching them suffer at her hands. And he's someone who sees them for the absolute mess that they are, knows most of what Radi could've done to them mentally and is willing to stay by their side. And somewhere along the way, they fall for each other. Somewhere along the way, Hollow grows comfortable with showing themself, with being themself. They stop clinging to their history with Radi, they grow past their (frankly, awful) learned responses. They realise just how much he's done for them, and they want to be the best version of themself, to be his support - if he will let them. He draws out the best in them. They draw out the best in him. They're mirrors of each other. They're pillars of support for one another. They're both willing to do anything for each other. Even if that anything is growing past spiteful pride and unwillingness to admit to fault. Even if that anything is opening up your heart to a potential knife, dropping a mask of playfulness and detachment, showing the vulnerable skin underneath.

My two ships. Proudly waving them around. There's more stuff to Grollow, namely PVxGrimm pairing (so, pre-Temple). Moon expands on that a bit (I think it's in the already posted chapter, even) and Dreams has it because of shared interests, shared character traits and, again, Grimm's unwillingness to coddle them or evade them for any reason. Means a lot to them.

Omg!!! I'm so sorry about the wait 😭 I was trying to get all my thoughts together so I can type something coherent here so it's not just me rambling about how amazing the show is LMAO

First off, I just wanted to say the overall mystery??? Executed very well! I was definitely not expecting both Tianchen and Tianxi to have powers (I thought something else was going on like they both swapped places/identities or something 😭), but it makes sense since they're siblings and they're meant to parallel the Shiguang duo! Even in the first season, I assumed it was only going to be one person that was the culprit behind the murders, but the show pleasantly surprised me with that! The siblings themselves were also just pretty tragic omg 😭 that whole flashback sequence with them being the foxes in the story, and Tianxi slowly sees Tianchen go down his dark path was so good. You already saw that post I made about them, but yeah I love tragic and doomed siblings as a trope it's great <3

One of my absolute favorite parts from the whole show tbh is the entirety of Season 1 Episode 11. That was a perfect final episode to end things off on and tease a season 2. Like the nonstop twists they kept pulling??? Like how they first initially present Emma's death as a suicide as a red herring but it turned out to actually be the case is so much more impactful and tragic than just having her be another person who was possessed by Tianchen. That whole scene with her and CXS on the bridge OUGHHH IT BROKE ME 😭 THAT WAS SO WELL DONE!!! The song, combined with the montage of all the people he and Lu Guang helped, him talking her down from ending it all and reaching out his hand to her with the sunshine rising above him...EMOTIONAL DAMAGE FR. Like I knew it wasn't going to end all happily, but the emotional impact was definitely there. And that ending omg — having Qiao Ling, one of the main characters we've gotten attached to and love dearly, be shown to have stabbed Lu Guang was brutal, especially for Cheng Xiaoshi 😭 the angst that came out of that and Qiao Ling feeling guilt for hurting Lu Guang even if it wasn't really her was all really heartbreaking. That whole thing, as well as Qiao Ling knowing what Lu Guang did to save Cheng Xiaoshi's life, really makes their relationship pretty rocky but also interesting!!! I want to see more of their duo together since the show has had plenty focus on Qiao Ling with CXS and CXS with LG, and also angst I want to see them both go through the horrors while CXS is standing there like :D LMAO

I would definitely say that Cheng Xiaoshi is my fave character out of the whole cast. I absolutely adore everyone else don't get me wrong, but I think what makes CXS so special and unique to me is how they made empathy one of his core defining traits. Because he’s lived through so many different lives and experiences, he just has a lot of compassion and understanding for all kinds of different people, and that's pretty admirable! Idk, I don't see that often much, especially in a time travel story of all places, but the premise works here very well along with how CXS is initially characterized as a very easygoing person who wants to help people at his core.

As for other stuff exclusive to season 2, I'm very curious to see what direction they'll go in for season 3 just with the way season 2 ended with that bombshell lol. When a season 3 does roll around, I hope we get more character exploration on the guy who's seemingly the main antagonist, Liu Xiao. I know we got some characterization with him because of his past with Tianchen, but I would love to see more of him and what his plans really are with trying to "bring more parallel lines together". Also Lu Guang betraying his own rules to save Cheng Xiaoshi I don't have anything else to say other than GOOD SHIT!!! I love it when characters are hypocrites I love it when characters in time travel stories break time itself to save the person they love <333 it's like crack to me I swear lol.

Other extra things!!! Soundtrack absolutely amazing, I've been listening to all the ops and eds on spotify lol. Character designs, voice acting (I watched the original Chinese version), and overall animation was amazing. High marks all around for me fr!!! I think personally I enjoy season 1 just a bit more? Only because that final episode was beautiful for me and I loved seeing all the different clients the duo had, but in terms of overall plot, I would put season 2 above season 1.

IDW, Modern really hasn't had a definitive story yet. One that covers all his aspects and show his future potential, not just smarts and gadgets.)

Probably doesn't help that characters with superpowers tend to have a bias, compared to more "normal" ones. (I mean, Tails isn't normal either, but I think you get what I mean. Kid genius trope struggles.)

Hmmm, probably have to chalk that up to SoA localization changes; which omit the whole bullying thing and downplayed his inventor aspects pre-Adventure/Sonic X. Early cartoons playing hard into the 'kid' side didn't help either. (Underground completely removing him for real siblings certainly was a choice after AOSTH and SatAM went on about him and Sonic being surrogate brothers. At least the OVA balanced everything.)

Yeah, some are missing the point why Nine is the way he is and his current arc. As curious as I am about potentially seeing a "main antagonist" Tails, I can't help but feel it might hinder Modern Tails' outlook more or give even further wrong impressions of his character, especially in tangent to Sonic. (Frontiers is just words until we see what happens passed this game onward. I did sneak a look at the DLC leaks, and well, let's just say a certain trend of his we keep joking about continues and leave it at that. xD)

This is what I also mean about him interacting with other characters. How would he be as THEIR partner for a while? What if he took leadership and inspire others, just like Sonic has. What does he learn from those experiences? Considering he doesn't have personal contempt for most characters, him being mostly neutral allows him to talk virtually with everyone rather civilly. Including Eggman's robots. (Ah, someone else with the Tails and Sage vision. xD I'm hoping with their similarities, it leads to a cool dymanic between them, I don't quite see them fighting each other as much as Sonic and Eggman do.)

Heh, we don't talk about Sonic's admiration of Tails very much, or how they keep each other centered and it often leads to that lopsided view. Yeah, Sonic 'raised' Tails; more as guidance than the traditional parental sense, but Tails is one of the main reasons why Sonic is still alive. Sonic values Tails' opinion, even if it doesn't always align with his. His support and planning is why Sonic can succeed in his heroism. (Sonic isn't dumb by any means and can handle himself well, BUT can you say his adventures would have gone smoothly or quickly without Tails' help? Do you not think he enjoys Tails' company regardless and supports him with all his heart? Do you think why the dude who generally prefers solitude considers this fox close enough to be described as his family? Their bond has multiple layers, years of trust and is still evolving. Focusing and giving all the credit to one side of the team is disingenuous to both.)

I wonder if idw would do something with Tails at all... maybe in a couple of years we'll see. I have other thoughts on idw, but I should stop myself because thinking about it too long is a bit upsetting. (I wrote an entire paragraph about him in the Metal Virus but. I should really stop thinking about it)

I'm really hoping we get a Tails-centric story in that 900 issues special, and if not, at least have him be a supporting character for someone he doesn't usually interact with much (so basically anybody who isn't Sonic). I looked at the list of the writers and I honestly have no idea who I'd want to write for him, since a lot of them only did a couple of sonic stories at most.

Technically Tails does have superpowers, he can fly and he's fast... but a good chunk of the cast also has those, so it isn't something that seems so special anymore. So he only has him being a kid genius to set him apart and yeah, I guess it isn't as awe-inspiring as being able to throw cars with your mind or set things on fire.

Yep. What I was trying to say in the last post, is Tails's backstory being kind of hard to figure out just from playing the game is the reason why the western adaptations were able to change him so much in the first place. (At least that's what I meant by "that's how we ended up with Tailses who thought math was hard"). Though maybe if those adaptations did have his game backstory elements being more prominent somehow, it would have created a different image of Tails for a lot of people in the west...

Interesting that the bullying thing was included in Stay Sonic, which is what the Fleetway comics is (partially) based on, and it is a part of his backstory in the comic as well. His bullies were other foxes, just like in Origins/Prime. (Kid genius thing was not included though, hence "Pixel Brain")

(Also it's interesting that aosth started to bring in some of the aspects of his game characterization by the second half of the show. The whole episode dedicated to him being a genius, and then his technological abilities do occasionally come up later on, him fanboying over a pilot and flying a plane in another episode, people occasionally commenting on how freaky it is that he has two tails, stuff like that)

Honestly I don't know what else I could add on the Nine thing, I genuinely don't believe he would be the final antagonist. If he does end up as one, I have no idea what it says about the actual Prime Tails, how are we meant to read it? (Also I just generally have a bit of a distaste for how fandoms would see a traumatized and hurting kid, who is maybe kind of angsty and isn't the best at managing their feelings, and immediately go "Oh evil! They're soooo gonna be a villain!" I understand it could be really cathartic to see a character who's been wronged and hurt to turn the tables and be unhinged and calling the shots, but 1) often in the end it ends up being self-destructive behavior, 2) while it could be cathartic for some viewers, and technically it's a plot that has a right to exist, the fact that it's a trend that I've noticed makes me feel like people associate mentally ill teenagers with being evil, which is not great (though maybe I'm reading too much into this), 3) I just genuinely think this isn't where Prime is going)) Tails could make for a terrifying antagonist, I'm just really struggling to imagine what could actually drive him to villainy.

Tails and Sage... my first thought was "Oh they're definitely gonna make them rivals. Considering that Tails used to battle Eggman, isn't that a bit of a downgrade?" But then I actually started thinking about it, and now I want it. I have some ideas, but the actual dynamic would really depend on where they take both of those characters after Frontiers. But it could be really interesting, and more importantly, different from the rivalries that we already have!

Yes, Sonic and Tails! As much as I would love for Tails to interact with other characters, he and Sonic do have a great dynamic together. Honestly I don't think I have anything to add. It reminded me of the recent Sonic Channel story, at the end Sonic says something along the lines of Eggman being the unluckiest person in the world because of all the people not to lose their memory, it was the two of them, which means he's definitely going down!

just a little rant about my thoughts recently. and please dont try to change my mind. im autistic and i have a large sense of justice so its almost impossible to change my mind about things im very stubborn

of course, my rant is about trans men trying to claim the lesbian label. i want to be specific when i say trans MEN, not trans masc people, not “masculine-aligned”, not gender fluid or anything else. trans men that identify as men. and THEN try to claim to be a lesbian. listen, i am in no way advocating for those types of lesbians. the really weird terfy ones are bad. so terfy lesbians or whatever youre calling yourself that hate trans women i do not like you.

Anyways, its infuriating. How are you not disgusted by using the term lesbian as a man? how are you, as a trans man, comfortable in any way shape or form. you work so hard to fit in as a man, right? if you are a man in your head, why do you think a lesbian would be attracted to you? surely you KNOW they are not thinking of you as a man. ever. And, how are you even comfortable using the term that women and other non men carved out for themselves? how do you feel like you have the right to trample over everything like that as a man?

I genuinely do not care if you identified as a lesbian before you transitioned. That does not give you the right to infringe on that label that is not for you. I don’t care if you “have such a deep connection to the label” you are creepy. Can you imagine a cis man doing that? why are you any different? and dont even get me started with “sexuality and gender are not rigid” then dont use the terms when you mean something else??? along with “contradicting terms is what being queer is about” what?? that is literally not even true 😭😭 identifying as things out of spite of your OWN community is crazy. these peoples logic is so crazy. i want to open their skull and examine their brain to see how it works.

Contradicting terms were more popular in the past, with things like boy dyke or other examples i cannot remember right now (im sorry if that wasnt even right but you know what im talking about right) The community has obviously changed. And it’s definitely for the better. As it stands, the community has plenty of fighting as it is. There is nothing you lose from just admitting something that everyone else knows; Youre just straight.

This is just another stupid issue that can so easily be solved. If you are a man, cis or trans, doesn’t matter. You cannot be a lesbian. You can have a connection to past experiences when you identified as a girl. You can recognize its part of your upbringing and effected you as a person. That does not give you the right to infringe on the label.

The community has demonized the label Straight so much that their own men have cowarded in fear of it.

You can use the word straight. you are not any less part of this community, i promise. theres more to life than existing out of spite of your own siblings.

Im going to be honest, if you identify as a lesbian, no one will see you as a man.

Honestly, why is it always lesbians getting the butt end of everything? wheres all the trans women claiming to be gay? yeah i wonder.

Some facts about Eva now that I mentioned her

She pretty much owns Join Avenue, since it was sprung onto her when she was 15. It was one of the many things that she balanced in her busy life post b2w2, and she actually handled it really well! She later passed it onto someone I haven't fully decided yet so she can focus on her passions.

I think she's the only one of my protagonists to get a higher education. She pretty much went back to school and later went to college as part-time student, since she was a champion AND a business owner ( before she gave it up) AND when she started dating Elliot. She has an engineering degree (maybe mechanical engineering would be more specific).

Her time as champion pretty much ends when Hugh beats her in battle. Despite being the younger of the two she definitely teared up when her best friend won the battle. She was so proud.

She wasn't an immediate Chosen. Not at first. When she was near the plasma frigate she always felt something....off. Something silently pleaded to her. But as soon as it started it would stop immediately. It wasn't until she finally sees Kyurem where it all clicks together. But the fear she has was resounding. Between having experienced an entire town get frozen over, seeing people just get frozen, and soon have thousands of icicle spears pointed at her, in a clear attempt to kill her- yeah. To say she feared Kyurem was an understatement. But she got Chosen anyway.

Kyurem didn't want a Chosen, truth being told. They simply wanted to be left alone in their cave away from everyone and put the terrible experience that was b2w2 behind them. But then they started to think. What if it happens again? Who would be there to protect them? This train of logic resulted in them concluding that they need a Chosen out of necessity, not out of fate or whatever the fuck the other Legendaries talk about to make themselves seem all important. And so they choose the person who freed them in the first place; Eva.

Eva felt very cold that day.

Despite starting off very very distant, Eva actually manages to push past her fear and wiggle her way into Kyurem's icey heart. It takes. A lot for them to get to that point however. Willingly or not, Kyurem has caused a lot of trauma for the poor girl, and wasn't exactly the friendliest, so it was very hard to even connect. Many times Eva wanted to beg for them to let her go out of fear but also wanted to stay and give Kyurem some comfort, since they too have been through a lot.

The main thing that drove them together was the Plasma Frigate. Well. Former Plasma Frigate. Eva actually ended up taking it over and redesigning it to her liking. Yes. The whole goddamn ship. A place of trauma for both Eva and Kyurem. Tearing it down and building it back up into something better was very cathartic for the both of them. They even made a new friend ( Genesect ). It was here where the two started to actually bond more. Kyurem is still Kyurem, cold and distant, but they are a tiny bit kinder to Eva. Their siblings ( Zekrom and Reshiram) tease them about how they are growing soft. Melting. The pair shut up when after a good cold glare.....it's. It's really good to speak to them again.

Now going back to Eva, as I mentioned she pretty much renovated the entire Team Plasma Frigate ship to her own liking. This redesign ended up also being a base of sorts for the other Chosens. To say Eva isn't a vital member of the team is blasphemous. She literally makes their weaponry ( when she's allowed to).

She's married to Elliot <3. This happened sometime after swsh, a few years I think. It's very ironic in a sense. The Chosen of Reshiram and the Chosen of Kyurem getting married. Fire and Ice but not really. It's funny, they all have a laugh about it.

In terms of visuals, since I haven't made a picrew of Eva in so long, she had brown skin with vitiligo and blue eyes that she got from her mom. Her hair is a warm darkish brown. It varies in texture all the time, since I always see her changing up her hair every now and again. I think it's naturally curly, but she's seen wearing it wavy or simply wearing a wig.

She's also freaking tall. She's one of the taller ocs I have next to Jin and Jude. Maybe Kiran, but idk.

Her relationship with Colress is complicated. She was always interested in machinery and science stuff but Colress was the one that really pushed it into high gear. She admitted him greatly after the first few times they have met. Then the truth was revealed and she never felt so betrayed and hurt. Maybe the signs were always there. Colress never really hid the fact that he was affiliated with Team Plasma- it was a matter of no one asking. And while Eva ultimately swayed his thesis, so to speak, she couldn't exactly look at him the same way. Not after everything he's done. What bothered her more was how nonchalant Colress was towards her reaction. He merely shrugged, saying he expected such, it usually goes this way. He tells her that he doesn't hate her. Rather he admires her young intelligence and vigor and hopes she puts it to good use. She finds the words very insulting. ( And yet, she follows his words exactly)

I haven't exactly thought out if Eva and Colress ever really repairs their relationship. If not then that's fine. If they do then that's fine too. But I'm not sure which direction to take.

Also I think it would be cute and sad if young Eva thought Colress would have been perfect for her dad. She was already hatching a plan until everything just goes to shit. It's fine really. She likes Emmet more as her other dad better anyway.

And yeah. I could go into her dynamic with more characters but that's all I want to share for now. I hope you like Evangeline Ortiz!
