i love looking at people's aesthetic tags because theres usually some sort of theme going on

#moodboard is the one most important tag on my acc bc thats the one i like looking at again and again #milk (normal)#i feel very alienated from the world and people most of the time and i don't think anyone or anything can change that #but im also getting better at feeling at peace with it and accepting that i don't really belong being okay with that is important to me #so i like brutalist buildings and things that are overtly like hey you don't belong and im like *nods* i know but i am just visiting #i am just peeking my head in and i will be on my way in a bit but you are gorgeous i love how you hate me #i know this sounds very depressing and it is sometimes but its also kind of freeing in a way to give up yknow and not have to try #-to force extroversion or to try and fake emotions and caring that isn't there and just sorta exist in an area #where im not being held to human standards and scrutiny #idk i am very apathetic about stuff in general it's been this way since i was a baby and ive decided to start embracing it instead of #-thinking of it as a moral or social failing that i have to correct #anyways thats a whole essay hope u guys get what i mean.#yeah im doing alright

#theres just so much to unpack here #ok #lemme get into this #alright one #darry curtis was never goin to be a soc #bc a soc aint just a social class (darry couldn't get to either way)#but rather also a certian in group that rests on the hatred of greasers #'soc' doesnt refer to every rich kid the way 'greaser' does refer to every poor ki #do we see what i mean?#im not bein real coherent down here #but anyways #darry definitely has a fair amount of internalized classism #he doesnt want to be lumped in n compared to greasers #he sets himself apart in the way he looks talks n acts #but he could never hate them #also the fact that this line comes from two is so important to me #its a rare serious moment from him #effectively realizin that darry curtis might be the best of them #he could go places #n two who is proud to be a greaser n sees himself goin nowhere #his 'were the only thing keepin darry from goin soc' has much more to do with 'were the only thing keepin darry'#whos probably thinkin of johnny in that moment n darry curtis n ppl who deserve better #whereas ponys 'yeah i know'#has a lot more to do with 'IM keepin MY brother here'#aoughhhh #that line makes me a lil insane every time #the outsiders #ponyboy curtis #two bit mathews #darry curtis

i have thick skin and all, since i've been working with beta readers for a long time, but...

So, I'm trying to organize my files and found a bunch of sketches that I didn't post; a lot of them are like.

I didn't finish drawing for the whole fic, or stuff, but if I don't post them now, I might be never, sooo.

First batch is from two fics by the always amazing @alicat54cwriting and @amevello-blue

Home Running, one of the Different Eldest Brother series entries! Dannie extends his adoption policy to traumatized apocalypse peepaws.

And then Dragon in the Woods, in which a version of Ghost has. A... Time.... And adopts some babies (who are versions of the Empathy is Learned kids) Mystic connections happen, it's very sweet.

And then finally a page from @amevello-blue and @wondrous-art 's TMNT iteration, The Mystic Forest! It's an interesting take on the characters, and I've been really enjoying it. The boys are very silly, and have such fun designs!

aksdjfhsd yeah!! also I imagine there being a ton of angst potential because Stan remembers ("remembers" my ass, he doesn't remember shit) himself and Shermie as being fairly close as kids, because everything involving "my brother" is conflated with Shermie, until the Mystery Incident got him kicked out. But Shermie wasn't super close with either of his brothers because of the age difference, and also because I hc him as not being home very often and getting the hell outta dodge as soon as he was old enough. So poor Stan has an imagined closer brotherly dynamic with Shermie, who isn't maintaining this dynamic into adulthood because to him Stan is his younger brother who dropped off the face of the earth (sad) at age 17, popped up a few times in newspapers to get arrested and/or scam people, and then dropped off the face of the earth again at 27.

Idk man it's crazy that we all have to give a shit about the us because they get to decide who our global evil overlord is going to be and it sucks for you guys it's really scary and i feel for you but sometimes I wish the US could fuck itself and it didn't fuck everyone else too. But alas!
